Lady Gaga for InStyle US - May 2020!
Lady Gaga graces the May cover of InStyle magazine. The pop superstar’s sixth studio album is a euphoric return to the dance floor, but before Chromatica can be released, Mother Monster is tending to the world — announcing she has raised $35 million with advocacy organization Global Citizen to fight the coronavirus and she won’t stop there.

On what she wants out of life: “Marriage,” says the star (who, according to her Instagram feed, is currently dating tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky). “More music, more movies, more charity with the Born This Way Foundation [a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and supporting mental health and wellness]. I want to do way more philanthropy. I want to help fund more research about fibromyalgia and neuropathic and chronic pain by putting a team of doctors together. I have a lot of dreams and hopes. What I will actually accomplish, I have no idea, but I know that I’ll be doing it with the people I love.”
On one day starting a family: “I will say I am very excited to have kids,” Gaga admits. “I look forward to being a mom. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive. It’s so funny — everyone works out of my house every day. When they come in, I always say, ‘Welcome to the Womb!'”

On her mental health struggles: “I’ve been depressed and been at the grocery store and seen photos of myself and gone, ‘Well, I look like everything is good.’ But I was secretly freaking out, and the world had no idea. Or some people in the world. I hate using that phrase ‘the world.’ It’s so egocentric to assume the whole world thinks about or knows about me. It doesn’t.”
On the presidential election: “I’m not going to hang my hat for humanity on one individual. It’s also on us to run this country. Putting so much importance on the government as the overarching, all-knowing force that runs our lives — I just don’t believe that to be true. I believe that we have the power to decide what the culture of this country looks like. We have the power to decide how we deal with one another socially. And we don’t need to place too much power in anyone’s hands. That said, I’m watching what happens. I think we all know who I will not be voting for.”

#RHOA: ShereΓ© Whitfield's Mother Has Been Missing Since March She says 'We Are Leaning on God'!
Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield‘s mother Thelma Ferguson is missing.
Whitfield, 50, revealed the news on Instagram Wednesday, explaining, “Please keep my mom and my family in your prayers!”
“We all know that prayers can move mountains!!!” Whitfield wrote, adding that she was “hesitant” to speak out because she is “pretty private when it comes to my family.”
Whitfield also explained that her mother often takes “personal vacations without letting the family know and we respect that side of her.”

“However, this is the longest she has gone without reaching out to anyone from the family or her friends. Right now we are leaning on God and staying positive and prayerful for her safe return home.”
“HOME is where the HEART is and prayer in numbers work. As we all continue to navigate through these uncertain times, remember the blessing of having each other… Family is everything!” Whitfield continued.
“I ask that everyone pray for my mother’s safe return home. And i know that our family will be internally grateful,” Whitfield wrote.

The Bravo star concluded the post by urging anyone with information on Ferguson’s whereabouts to contact the Sandy Springs Police Department.
According to police, Ferguson has been missing since March, Atlanta Journal Constitution reported. She was last seen on March 23 after leaving her home in Sandy Springs to go to the bank.
Ferguson was seen wearing gray pants and a black shirt and was driving a 2009 Honda Accord, according to police, AJC reported.
Ferguson’s disappearance comes after Whitfield raved over her mother and the women in her life on International Women’s Day.
On March 8, Whitfield shared a sweet slideshow of photos, which included a shot of her mother posing alongside her and her daughters Tierra Fuller and Kaleigh Whitfield.
Whitfield posted another photo of Ferguson in February when the family attended a sports event for her son Kairo Whitfield at Morehouse College.

Sandy Springs Police did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

#MusicNews: LOL!!! The Weeknd Believes Usher Copied His Musical Style!
The Weeknd knows he’s been one of the most influential artists of the last decade, sharing in a new interview that he believes several artists — namely R&B star Usher — copied his style on at least one record.
“‘House of Balloons’ literally changed the sound of pop music before my eyes,” the singer — whose real name is Abel Tesfaye — told Variety of his debut 2011 mixtape. “I heard ‘Climax,’ that Usher song, and was like, ‘Holy f–k, that’s a Weeknd song.’”

“Climax” was the debut single from Usher’s 2012 studio album “Looking 4 Myself.” The track went on to win a Grammy in 2013 for Best R&B Performance.
“It was very flattering, and I knew I was doing something right,” The Weeknd continued, “but I also got angry. But the older I got, I realized it’s a good thing.”
Many have taken to social media to contest the “After Hours” singer’s claim, with one Usher fan writing, “I swear I never see The Weeknd doing interviews and you’re telling me he took time out of his day to say that Usher stole his whole vibe with Climax ?? Almost a decade after it came out ?!”

Another fan of the “Yeah!” singer chimed in, adding, “OMG! Just heard @theweeknd say @Usher’s “Climax” is a Weeknd song, like Usher was inspired by him. No, it’s an Usher song. Where were you in 2001 when Usher sang “Can U Help Me” and other songs like that? You @theweeknd were INSPIRED by Usher’s sound. #TheDISrespect!”

The Canadian singer-songwriter also acknowledged how much he’s been accused of borrowing his own musical style from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, who he names as one of his main influences. He went on to call Jackson’s 1988 hit “Dirty Diana” the “blueprint to my music.”

#HipHopNews: #RIP Rising Rapper And Model Chynna Rogers Dead At Age 25!
Chynna, a rising Philadelphia-born, Brooklyn-based rapper and model affiliated with A$AP Mob, has died, according to her manager, John Miller. “Chynna was deeply loved and will be sorely missed,” read a family statement released Wednesday evening in conjunction with Miller’s email confirmation of the tragic news. Chynna, whose full name was Chynna Marie Rogers, was 25 years old. A cause of death was not revealed at press time.

Chynna began her career as a fashion model at age 14, after she was discovered by a scout from Ford Models at the Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park in Jackson, N.J. A year later, she struck up a friendship with A$AP Yams (real name: Steven Rodriguez), founder of the New York hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, after she tweeted him asking to be his intern. Instead, she became Yams’s mentee, as he encouraged her to write her own rhymes.

Eventually, Chynna released solo singles like 2013’s “Selfie” and 2014’s “Glen Coco,” which received critical praise and millions of spins on Spotify and SoundCloud. She also began performing with A$AP Mob, including at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, in 2015. She released her first EP, This Isn’t Happening, that same year.

Chynna frequently addressed the subject of death in her music — which she once described to Pitchfork as being “for angry people with too much pride to show how angry they are” — like on her 2016 EP Music 2 Die 2 and her final release in December 2019, in case i die first. Inspired to speak out after Yams’s overdose death in 2015, she was also brutally honest in both her lyrics and interviews about her struggles with opioid addiction. In 2016, on the three-month anniversary of her sobriety, she celebrated by dropping the psychedelic mixtape Ninety, and in a 2017 interview with Vibe, she opened up about her decision to get clean.

"I felt crazy. I didn't want to be a statistic. I didn't want to go out that way and people be like, 'I told you so,’ or glamorize [drug use], because I don't feel like that,” Chynna told Vibe. “It was nerve-wracking to be open, but when you see how many more people who are dealing with the same thing, it's good to have some kind of example of someone you didn't expect to be going through it."
Chynna’s final Instagram post, on the day before her death announcement, included a video clip of a 2016 interview in which she said, “I think there’s too many soundtracks to our lives. I need music to die to.”

Chynna is survived by her father, Michael Magness, her brothers, Jeremy Payne and Michael Magness, and her sister, Nala Magness.

Linda Tripp, Central Figure In The Clinton Impeachment, Dies At 70!
Linda Tripp, the former White House employee who became a key figure in the impeachment of President Bill Clinton, has died at age 70.
Tripp, who was battling cancer, died Wednesday, according to her former attorney Joseph Murtha. Reports of Tripp's condition had surfaced earlier in the day after her daughter, Allison Trip Foley, wrote about her mother's being gravely ill in a now-deleted Facebook post.
Diane Spreadbury, a close friend of Tripp's, told NBC News that Tripp was "a fantastic friend" whose death is a great loss. An official cause of death is unknown, but Spreadbury said it was not coronavirus-related.

Tripp, who was working at the Defense Department at the time, secretly recorded her calls with Monica Lewinsky, a former White House intern who had been hired to a paid position and then transferred to the Pentagon, in tapes that paved the way for Clinton's 1998 impeachment on charges alleging obstruction of justice and perjury about his sexual relationship with Lewinsky.

The tapes were part of independent counsel Kenneth Starr's investigation into Clinton, which produced a 453-page report that determined the grounds for impeachment. Tripp was indicted on criminal wiretapping charges in Maryland for making the tapes, but the case was eventually dropped.
Sanders quits Democratic race for president; Biden is party's apparent nominee
Lewinsky offered well wishes to Tripp on Wednesday after seeing reports that Tripp was ill.

"no matter the past, upon hearing that linda tripp is very seriously ill, i hope for her recovery," Lewinsky wrote. "i can't imagine how difficult this is for her family."
Tripp began working in the White House as a secretary under President George H.W. Bush and stayed on after Clinton took office. She was transferred to the Pentagon in 1994, where she first met Lewinsky.
Tripp spoke publicly about her role in the presidential scandal during a National Whistleblower Day event on Capitol Hill in 2018. The former civil servant defended her actions and said her decisions came from a duty to hold power accountable.

"And yet it had nothing to do with politics, which is hard for anyone to understand if they remember the story many years ago," Tripp said. "What it was about was exposing perjury and obstruction of justice."

Tripp is survived by her husband, Dieter Rausch, and her two children'

'Modern Family' Showrunners Talk Possibilities of Mitch & Cam Spinoff!
Modern Family signed off the air after 11 seasons on air just moments ago and while we dry our tears, the showrunners are opening up about the potential for spinoffs.
Speaking with Deadline, Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd revealed if there were any more stories for the Dunphys, Tuckers, Pritchets and Delgados to tell.

Steve revealed that the “at the moment, I’m personally not thinking about that.”
He adds, “I think that there are a couple of writers who are thinking about well, is there a Mitch and Cam spinoff, but they’re literally just thinking about it. They’re using this time that we have now to think about it, if there’s something there.”

“I’m not driving this but I’m a huge fan of Jesse [Tyler Ferguson] and Eric [Stonestreet], and those characters are of course near and dear to me, and I certainly think that they’re strong enough to carry a show,” Steve continued. “For me, I really felt that what I needed creatively was to work on something new after working on Modern Family for 12 years and pretty much exclusively.”

Christopher agrees, saying that “it does present a possibility for us. Will that happen? I’m not sure but we would be probably dumb to not explore it. However, doing a spinoff is fraught in a lot of ways and we won’t do it unless we feel confident there’s something there, I don’t want to say it’s a long shot, it’s under discussion but we’ll see. We don’t want to jump into something like that, particularly because Modern Family is a tough act to follow, but that is a possibility.”

What did you think of the Modern Family series finale?

BeBe Winans Opens Up About Having The Coronavirus Diagnosis!
BeBe Winans is the latest celebrity to open up about a difficult coronavirus diagnosis, and the R&B/gospel icon stopped by SiriusXM's The Joe Madison Show to reveal that while he has recovered, it wasn't an easy process.

"Sometimes, for some reason, we as a people when we look in and we look at television and various things that's going on around us, we somehow say, that can't happen to me for some reason," he explained. "I don't know why, but sometimes we believe that, and even myself being cautious, when the outbreak started, I did just a little travel. I was actually in New York and I was like, well, I'm going to Detroit because I had a friend pass and we were having a funeral and just that little travel, I caught it."

"You can't just go to the hospital, and if you're not in need of a respirator they won't even take you," he continued, before noting that both his brother and mother also caught the virus. "I'm a man of faith and just raised in and in my mind, I'm just concrete in the subject matter that God is greater than everything. Yet, and still, it's so important for us to use common sense. So, being on the other side of it now, I'm just grateful that the word, I just finished my run and through the whole run, I was just saying, God, I thank you. I thank you because it could have been a different outcome for me and my family. So, I've learned to be more grateful for life itself. Forget about homes and automobiles and all these things. You can't take none of that. That means nothing to you when your health is gone."

"I'm going to do what's best for me, and that is keep moving health-wise in my mind and my spirit," he added. "Keep the spirit moving. You can sit still and keep your spirit moving. I read a whole bunch. I didn't know I could read so well."

'The View's Joy Behar Denies She's Retiring From The Show!
It would appear that news of Joy Behar's retirement from The View might not be accurate. The show's longtime co-host was reportedly leaving the daytime talk show in 2022 when her contract expires. However, a representative for the 77-year-old comedian told Entertainment Tonight that this was simply not the case.

"This is not true," the rep explained. "Joy was asked what happens at the end of her contract and as she herself made clear in the interview if she's 'as fabulous in [2022] as I am now,' she will be in her seat at the table." News of Behar's retirement came when Variety published an excerpt from Ramin Setoodeh's upcoming non-fiction book Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of 'The View.' The passage in question started with Behar referring to her contract, adding that she doesn't "see myself staying for more [time]. That's it! I could be wrong."
However, as Behar's own rep pointed out, the excerpt continued to read: "If I'm as fabulous in [2022] as I am now, I'll think about [it]." However, the outlet also reported that several sources had also confirmed that Behar had been floating her exit from the show sometime in 2022.

Behar's tenure on The View goes back to the show's debut back in 1997. She was part of the original lineup of hosts, which also included Barbara Walters, Meredith Vieira, Star Jones and Debbie Matenopoulos. She was fired by ABC daytime executives back in 2013 after a decision to make the talk show less political. However, Behar was brought back in 2015 and has remained at the table ever since. Her current co-hosts include Whoopi Goldberg, Meghan McCain and Sunny Hostin.

On March 13, Behar took a hiatus from the show out of precaution over coronavirus. She announced her plans to the show's in-studio crowd, explaining that she's "in a higher risk group because of my age, but I'm perfectly healthy."
"I don't look my age, but I'm actually up there. The number makes me dizzy," she added. Howeer, just 10 days later, Behar made her return to the show, albeit from the comfort of her home. The move has become increasingly common with talk shows these days, as more people continue to engage in social distancing to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. on ABC

Kobe Bryant Book For Children And Young Adults Hits No. 1 On NY Times Bestseller List!
The late Kobe Bryant’s legacy continues to grow, as the latest release from his Granity Studios is expected to debut at No. 1 on The New York Times middle-grade hardcover list to be published April 19.
The book, The Wizenard Series: Season One by Wesley King, already is No. 1 on Amazon’s bestseller list for children’s basketball books.

Season One follows the progress of a young basketball player. The book is described by Granity as “a story of strain and sacrifice, supernatural breakthroughs, and supreme dedication to the game.” It was released last week, with Bryant credited as the series creator and story lines visionary.
Granity has experienced a bestseller list bounce from Bryant’s untimely death in January in a helicopter crash that claimed the life of eight others, including his teenaged daughter. The other books from Granity to make best-seller lists earlier this year include Epoca: The Tree Of Ecrof, Legacy And The Queen and The Wizenard: Training Camp, the latter the prequel to the new Season One.

Bryant is no stranger to book publishing success. His 2018 book The Mamba Mentality: How I Play was also a best-seller and has been atop several Amazon lists for much of this year.
Granity said after Bryant’s death that it would continue his mission of “using creative education to inspire people to be the best versions of themselves.”

Bryant was an Academy Award winner in 2018 for his animated short film, Dear Basketball. He was announced as a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2020 last weekend.

Louisiana Pastor Says His Church Members Won’t Care If They Die From Coronavirus Because It’s In The Name Of Freedom And The Lord!
A Louisiana pastor says that if any members of his church die from COVID-19, it would be on behalf of the Lord and freedom.
Things are getting stranger and stranger in this era of #coronavirus. Pastor Tony Spell of Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge told TMZ that real Christians won’t care about dying from coronavirus because it will be in the name of the Lord, claiming people shouldn’t live in fear. “People that can prefer tyranny over freedom do not deserve freedom,” he said.

Medical officials have advised everyone to stay home and practice social distancing amid the outbreak, but Spell says we have to “get on with life.” Last week, Spell opened his church for Palm Sunday, and more than 1,000 people attended the service. Consequently, Spell was arrested and charged with violating the state’s order.

Despite, his recent run-in with the law, Spell isn’t letting the government lead him over his religious views. “The Bible teaches us to be absent from our bodies and present with the Lord. So, like, any revolutionary, or like any zealot or pure religious person, death looks to them like a welcome friend,” said Spell
When asked if his churchgoers’ mind dying, he replied, “True Christians do not mind dying. They fear living in fear.”

What do you all think about Spell’s thoughts?

Trump Says He Will ‘Take A Look’ At ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic Pardon!
President Trump on Wednesday said he’ll examine a request for a pardon from Joe “Exotic” Maldonado-Passage, the star of the hugely popular Netflix series “Tiger King.”

“I’ll take a look,” Trump told a Post reporter when asked about the case and his son’s support for a pardon during a White House briefing.
The president’s eldest son has joked about lobbying for his father to pardon Maldonado-Passage, a kooky former roadside zookeeper serving a 22-year prison sentence for orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot targeting animal-rights activist Carole Baskin.

“Which son? Must be Don — what did he do?” Trump said of Donald Trump, Jr. and then asked about Maldonado-Passage.
“I know nothing about it … he has 22 for what? What did he do?” Trump asked.
After the reporter explained what the “big cat” enthusiast was in for, Trump asked: “Do you think he didn’t do it?”

“Are you on his side? Are you recommending a pardon?”
He then polled the other journalists in the room asking, “Would you recommend a pardon?”
Maldonado-Passage issued a call for a pardon from Trump and announced a $94 million lawsuit against the federal government March 19 on his Facebook page.

The seven-part docu-series on Maldonado-Passage, “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness,” has been a hit with Netflix viewers — drawing 34.3 million unique viewers in the first 10 days since its March 20 release.

AND FINALLY FROM “THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART” FILES
‘DOWN UNDER’
I’m not a CDC expert by any means, but aren’t you still just breathing in the same air as you would be without the scuba mask? Basically just a more foolish way to look as you get infected I’m thinking.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ALL!!!
