#RHoA: Porsha Williams Relationship Expert?
Porsha Williams is back in the dating game following her split with Todd Stewart earlier this year after the two were seen rekindling their romance last season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. And she's doing it all from the comfort of her own home — or anywhere, really.
"I'm definitely dating. I'm like a text dater right now. Yeah, so I hope to be meeting some of these people that I've been texting soon and be for real dating," Says Porsha. "But I'm kind of busy right now, so it's not [at the] top of my priorities."
Porsha added that she's "not putting too much pressure on the dating right now." Still, she certainly has an idea of what she's looking for in a man, which she said includes someone who makes getting to know the person he's dating a priority and not an afterthought. "I want them to be busy, have their own life, but want to get to know someone in order to have a future with them. So I want someone who's dating with a purpose just like me, and we want to end up having the same goals in wanting a family and loving the Lord and all of that," she explained. "I'm not going to just settle; I want someone who I have good chemistry with. I don't really have a type; it's just I know how I want to feel. If they make me feel that way, then that'll probably be the guy."
The RHOA entrepreneur also knows what she doesn't want in a relationship right now, citing distance as a dealbreaker, especially since that was one of the contributing factors in her breakup with Todd. "I've been meeting a lot of guys who have very young kids, you know an 8-month, you know, a 2-year-old. For me, you know what I end up doing? I end up counseling them. Like, 'What's wrong with you and the mom? Why don't you just go to counseling? Why can't you be with her? I don't get it, because you were just with her,'" Porsha said. "So a dealbreaker for me, don't have kids, really, under 5, unless it's a divorce, because then clearly, y'all have tried everything and y'all are divorced."
As far as the possibility of Porsha starting her own family one day is concerned, she said she's now leaving it "in God's hands." "I'm not gonna try to facilitate that myself anymore. I'm just like, 'OK, if the right guy's gonna come along and it's gonna be the right situation for me,'" Porsha shared. "So for now, I'm just happy being single and working and just enjoying life."

#EMPIRE: On Offseason News: Bryshere Y. Gray stars in upcoming film “Canal Street,”
“Empire” actor Bryshere Y. Gray stars in “Canal Street,” which follows a family moving from the South Side to Winnetka after a death. Directed by Rhyan LaMarr, the Chicago-set film follows Kholi (Gray), a young man who moves from the South Side of Chicago in with his attorney father (played by Fences actor Mykelti Williamson) to the Illinois suburb of Winnetka. Kholi seems to be adjusting to his new life and friendships well until a homecoming party turns into a crime scene. Kholi is horrified when his new friend ends up dead at the party, and after he refuses to leave the scene of the crime, he is blamed for the murder. His father acts as his defense attorney against the prosecutor played by Mekhi Phifer.
Chicago is still one of the most segregated cities in the United States, so Canal Street looks at how race and socioeconomic status play into how Black people, and specifically young Black men, are perceived in our society.
Joining Gray and Williamson in the film are his New Edition Story co-star Woody McClain, Yancey Arias, Lance Reddick, Katie Chang, Jamie Hector, Kevin Quinn, Harry Lennix, Jon Seda, Will Yun Lee, Michael Beach and Giovanni Watson. Check out the teaser trailer for Canal Street below. It looks as if it may be the film to sweep next year’s major festivals. The independent drama is due out in spring.

Paris Hilton‘s new year will include wedding planning.The heiress-turned-DJ got engaged to boyfriend Chris Zylka over the weekend in Aspen, Colorado.

CNN New Year's Eve With Andy Cohen Was An Epic Failure!
Kathy Griffin must be rolling around laughing in her Calabasas mansion right about now. After her Trump mask photo went very, very wrong she was fired from the CNN New Year's Eve show and Andy Cohen was brought in as her replacement and completely bombed!
Andy and Anderson Cooper bragged about their "new and improved" New Year's Eve show and it proved to be an epic fail. Fans all over Twitter expressed how bored they were with the Bravo star and his constant need to reference the "Housewives" franchise. I love myself a housewife but CNN's viewers probably aren't as inclined. Know your audience boo!
Although the two gay men maintain that they've never hooked up, Andy kept awkwardly low-key flirting with Anderson and complaining about the cold weather. It's New York in December, of course it's cold. It was SO comfortable and boring that I had to switch over to ABC in the first couple of minutes. Ryan Seacrest knows how to deliver.
Andy also managed to offend Nicole Kidman when he asked her about her odd clapping at the Oscars and she replied “I wish there were more important things for people to focus on." It was a pretty fucking random question considering the Oscars were almost a year ago.
If all that wasn't enough to make you turn the channel, he also started talking about Mariah Carey's performance on ABC which is weird considering she was on a competing network. SMH.
He also asked Celine Dion about Lady Gaga's upcoming Las Vegas residency and Anderson told him not to ask Celine about other singers.
After four and a half hours of broadcast Andy Cohen managed to over reference the housewives, complain about the cold, offend Nicole Kidman and Celine Dion and talk about a competing network's better show. Bring Kathy back CNN! We needed that loveable redhead in our New Year's festivities again!

Hoda Kotb Replaces Matt Lauer As ‘Today’ Co-Anchor
Lauer was fired last year over allegations of sexual misconduct.
Longtime NBC News personality Hoda Kotb has been named the co-anchor of “Today,” permanently replacing Matt Lauer after he was fired in November.
“It’s 2018, and we are kicking off the year right because Hoda is officially the co-anchor of ‘Today,’” anchor Savannah Guthrie announced Tuesday on air. “This has to be the most popular decision NBC News have ever made, and I’m so thrilled.”
Guthrie and Kotb will become the first all-female team to jointly anchor the morning show’s first two hours. Kotb will also continue co-hosting the fourth hour with Kathie Lee Gifford, according to an NBC News press release.
NBC News chairman Andy Lack sent an email earlier on Tuesday to tell staff about the change.
“Over the past several weeks, Hoda has seamlessly stepped into the co-anchor role alongside Savannah, and the two have quickly hit the ground running,” Lack wrote.
Kotb, who has for years been a frequent substitute for the primary anchor team, began temporarily filling in for Lauer after he was fired over allegations of sexual misconduct.
“This is a very tough morning for both of us,” Kotb said on air the morning Lauer’s firing was announced. “I’ve known Matt for 15 years and I’ve loved him as a friend and a colleague, and just like you were saying, Savannah, it’s hard to reconcile what we are hearing with the man who we know, who walks in this building every single day.”
Kotb has been with the network since 1998, when she joined as a correspondent for “Dateline.” She has won Emmy awards, a Gracie award and an Edward R. Murrow award in that time.
Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah announces he will not run for re-election in 2018
Utah Senator Orrin Hatch, the longest-serving GOP senator, announced Tuesday that he would not seek re-election in 2018 – opening up a possible pathway to the political resurrection of 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
Hatch, 83, who first took his seat in 1977, had been debating whether to run again, and President Trump had publicly beseeched him not to retire.
"I was an amateur boxer in my youth, and I brought that fighting spirit with me to Washington,” Hatch said. “But every good fighter knows when to hang up the gloves. And for me, that time is soon approaching.”
Romney, a former governor of Massachussets and a vocal critic of the president, is widely reported to be considering running for Hatch’s seat. In a statement, Romney said Hatch had "represented the interests of Utah with distinction and honor."
The move is a blow for Trump, who pushed Hatch to stay on in a visit to Utah in December.
“We hope you will continue to serve your state and your country in the Senate for a very long time to come,” Trump said.
Hatch has been a strong supporter of the president’s agenda, and as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee was a key player in getting the tax reform bill passed in December.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said at the daily press briefing on Tuesday that Trump was "very sad" to see Hatch leave.
“The president certainly has the greatest and deepest amount of respect for Senator Hatch and his over four decades of experience in the Senate,” Sanders said. “He is particularly thankful for the senator's leadership and massive effort that he played and the role that he played in getting the tax cut and reform package passed.”
In his statement, Hatch noted that he had authored more bills that became law than any living member of Congress. He also hailed the passage of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act as one of his proudest legislative achievements.
“I'm deeply grateful for the privilege you've given me to serve as your senator these last four decades,” he said in the statement. “I may be leaving the Senate, but the next chapter in my public service is just beginning.”
