#RHoA: Kenya Moore Explains ‘RHOA’ Meltdown, Blames Producers And Throws SHADE At Porsha Williams
On Sunday’s Real Housewives of Atlanta episode, Kenya Moore lashed out at her fellow cast mates and the producers. The reality TV star stormed away from the RHOA cameras after being confronted about her behavior at the Habitat for Humanity volunteer project.

Moore was accused of being rude during the Houston project, especially to Shamea during a phone call.
The incident sheds some light on the rumors about Kenya’s feud with the producers and the relationship with her secretive husband Marc Daly. When Kenya stormed off the table she yelled “I didn’t come to constantly be dragged in the mud,” according to People magazine

During her rant, she blamed her cast mates for Marc Daly’s reluctance to appear on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“That’s why Marc don’t wanna be part of this. Because every time you turn around and trash his fu**ing wife,” Moore yelled. “Sick of it! I don’t fu**ing gotta do sh*t no more. Take my motherfu**ing mic off.”
Kenya Moore received a lot of backlash from fans of the series and the 46-year-old has explained the incident where she seemingly blames editing and accuses the producers of trying to rehabilitate Porsha Williams “poor image.”

In an Instagram post — which you can read below – Kenya defends Cynthia against the charge that she is blindly loyal. She accuses the producers of trying to stir up TV drama and stated that the cast mates all attended Porsha’s event, which she puts in quotations.
The 46-year-old states that she apologized to Shamea Morton and claims to have reacted to something that was edited out of the episode. Without mentioning any names, Kenya says that she was reacting to “people forcing a reaction and a scene for camera time”
The trailer for the midseason of RHOA teases Marc Daly and Eva Marcile’s appearance. The cast travel to Spain and more drama brews with Cynthia and her new boyfriend’s relationship. Nene Leakes also reacts to Kim Zolciak’s daughter’s video showing cockroaches in her bathroom.
With Kenya’s reported ongoing feud with producers, it is unclear whether she will appear in the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Kenya is planning a second wedding to Marc Daly after about a year of marriage. The news was announced on her Bravo vlog; therefore, the RHOA cameras will be present this time.

Mary J. Blige reacts to her Oscar nomination…

“I just can’t stop crying,” said Mary J. Blige early Tuesday morning, holding back tears over the phone. The nine-time Grammy winner had just earned her first Oscar nomination, a best supporting actress nod for Mudbound, the Netflix tale that focuses on the post-World War II era in the Deep South.

Like many, she was asleep when the news came. “My phone rang at about 5:30 a.m. and it was my publicist, Amanda, and she was screaming. And I don’t know what it is so I’m screaming and I’m crying! It’s just a really emotional time. We’re not taking this lightly because things like this don’t happen. And it did.”

Blige earned a second nod for best original song, Mighty River. She is the first person ever to be nominated for a performance and original song in the same year, for the same film.

Anne Hathaway's 'Barbie' Movie Delayed from Summer 2018 to May 2020
Fans will have to wait a lot longer than they thought to see Anne Hathaway in the upcoming live-action Barbie movie.
The film has been delayed from an August 8, 2018 release date to May 8, 2020.

Amy Schumer was originally set to star in the film and her sister Kim Caramele is credited along with Diablo Cody and others as the screenwriters. The movie will be directed by Alethea Jones, who made her feature film directorial debut with last year’s comedy Fun Mom Dinner.
Deadline reports that the script for Barbie is still being worked on “and that those behind the pic want to get this popular Mattel toy franchise right.”

Even though we have more than two years to wait, we are looking forward to seeing the film!

Hugh Masekela The Father Of South African Jazz Has Died
The legendary trumpeter and activist was 78.

Hugh Masekela, who has been respectfully acknowledged as the “father of South African Jazz,” has died. The family announced the trumpeter’s passing after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Masekela’s foray into music began when he was a teenager in South Africa, and his music reflected his strong anti-apartheid views. After becoming a member of Africa’s first jazz group, The Jazz Epistles, Masekela eventually fled the country as tensions grew after a terrible massacre of Black South Africans and an increasing presence of apartheid
While living in the United States, Masekela aligned with Harry Belafonte and found success in states in the 1960s and 1970s. Although he wasn’t a huge chart success, Masekela was an especially prolific artist and performer who worked with other jazz ensembles. In all, he recorded well over 40 studio albums and collaborated with a wide range of artists including singer-songwriter Paul Simon among others.

Masekela, like his African jazz counterpart the late Fela Kuti, would have his music sampled by Hip-Hop artists and producers over the years. Talib Kweli, The Roots, Madlib, and Nice and Smooth all borrowed from his vast catalog at one time. And one of his hits, “Bring Him Back Home,” became an anthem to free the late anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela in 1987.

Masekela was 78.

Lupita Nyong’o To Release A Children’s Book ‘Sulwe’ In 2019
Congratulations to Oscar winning actress and star of “Black Panther,” Lupita Nyong’o. The stage and film diva has revealed that she is releasing her first children’s book in 2019 titled, Sulwe.

According to the New York Times, the book’s title means “star” in Ms. Nyong’o’s native language, Luo, and the story will focus on a 5-year-old Kenyan girl who is determined to find a way to lighten her skin. This isn’t the first time Nyong’o has addressed the issues of colorism, race and beauty.

“I am pleased to reveal I have written a children’s book! It’s called “Sulwe”! Sulwe is a dark skinned girl who goes on a starry-eyed adventure, and awakens with a reimagined sense of beauty. She encounters lessons that we learn as children and spend our lives unlearning. This is a story for little ones, but no matter the age I hope it serves as an inspiration for everyone to walk with joy in your own skin. Coming January 2019,” wrote the Star Wars star on Instagram.
Sulwe will be published through Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers next January.

#OOOPS: Meghan King Edmonds Is Leaving RHOC
Now we won't have to sit through another season of baby dribble and mommy guilt.
Meghan King Edmonds has officially announced that she won't return for season 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The pregnant reality star is blaming her departure on the emotional stress that filming the show creates and her move back to St Louis with her husband.
In season 11 Meghan underwent IVF treatment and then looked after her newborn baby in season 12, so even though she wasn't the most dramatic cast member she did have a lot of stress to deal with. Meghan is currently pregnant with twin boys and is expecting to give birth in June.

Sources were claiming that production were annoyed when Meghan announced her second pregnancy at the reunion because that meant they had to bring her back. However she wrote that the reunion was when she decided to leave the show because she was only 5 weeks pregnant and already exhausted from the pressures of the show. All she had to do was sit on a couch all day so I don't understand how it could be that exhausting.

Her husband Jimmy Edmonds is close friends with Andy Cohen, who are both St. Louis natives. Meghan apparently told Andy about her decision to leave and he was fine with it. Andy probably was relieved that Meghan left on her own so that he wouldn't have to fire his friend's wife. Come on, we all know Meghan only held that orange because Andy likes Jimmy!
This is the first casting announcement for the new season which means that filming is only around the corner and is slated to begin in February. Vicki, Tamra, Shannon and Kelly are all expected to return for the new season.

Check out Meghan's full announcement hereAre you sad to see Meghan leave?

Jada Pinkett Smith Stands With Mo’Nique: ‘We Should Be Supporting The Light She Is Shining On This Truth’
Jada Pinkett Smith is standing with Mo’Nique as she blasts Netflix for gender and color bias.
Mo rang the alarm on Netflix when they offered her $500,000 for a stand-up comedy special as opposed to Amy Schumer, who received $13 million for her special.

The response to Mo’Nique’s stand is a mixed bag, but Jada is standing with the truth.
Taking to her Twitter page, Jada Pinkett Smith said we don’t have to like her approach or agree with the boycott, but you can’t ignore the light Mo’Nique is shining on the truth when it comes to pay gaps for non-white and impoverished white women.
You don’t have to like Mo’Nique’s approach. You don’t have to agree with her boycott but don’t allow all of that to make you blind to the fact that non-white women and impoverished white women are underpaid, underrepresented and undervalued EVERYWHERE by EVERYONE.

Dylan Farrow Drags Justin Timberlake For Hypocritical Support Of Time’s Up
Justin Timberlake isn’t having a good day on Twitter. What started off as an innocent question about the old saying “You can’t have your cake and eat it too” turned into a schooling from Dylan Farrow. She has been in the spotlight as of late for the resurfacing of sexual assault allegations against her adoptive father Woody Allen — who directed Timberlake in Wonder Wheel.

Timberlake tweeted, “Can someone please explain the saying, ‘You just want your cake and to eat it too.’ What else am I about to do with cake??”

Farrow wasted no time in responding: “The saying means, for example, you can’t support [Time’s Up] and praise sexual predators at the same time. You can’t retain your credibility as an activist (i.e. – retain the cake) and, at the same time, praise a sexual predator (i.e. – eating the cake).”

She is blatantly referring to multiple things in regards to Timberlake. He wore a Time’s Up pin during the Golden Globes and worked with Allen in the aforementioned Wonder Wheel. It’s quite clear what kind of light Farrow is putting Timberlake in. Timberlake is not the only one under scrutiny for wearing a Time’s Up pin during the Globes. James Franco and Aziz Ansari both wore pins and received backlash after they were faced with sexual misconduct accusations.
Farrow recently had her first on-camera TV interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning. The two-part segment covered her longstanding allegations that Allen molested her when she was seven years old in 1992.
