Watch: Tyler Perry’s ‘Boo! A Madea Halloween’ Trailer!
Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Tyler Perry‘s Boo! A Madea Halloween. Via a press release, “the film’s origins date back to when Perry and Chris Rock conspired to include a fictitious Madea Halloween movie in Rock’s film Top Five. Lionsgate then approached Perry and suggested that they make the movie for real.”
The 40-second trailer finds Tyler Perry as Madea, equipped with a shotgun – after a news report announces there’s word coming in, of an unknown virus spreading around the world.
Here’s a synopsis:
In Boo! A Madea Halloween, Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.
In addition to Madea, Tyler will play the roles of “Joe” and “Brian.” The film will also star Cassi Davis, Bella Thorne, Patrice Lovely, Andre Hall and more. It hits theaters on October 21.
