Nicki Minaj explodes on Twitter after ex Safaree disses her in new single!
Safaree’s Auto-Tune ode to ex Nicki Minaj landed like a hand grenade Wednesday.
Safaree Samuels’ single “Love The Most” was released on iTunes and dissected the music couple’s 12-year relationship, which ended last year in heartbreak.
Minaj went on a Twitter rant after ex Safaree's single “Love The Most” was released on iTunes.“You ain’t do it all alone. We took ourselves up out the hood,” Safaree sings. “Yeah, we made it on the rise. Ain’t no green in my eyes. ‘Cause we both went to sleep in the same bed of lies.”
The hip-hop artist detailed cheating, the shame of being a sometimes invisible partner and the fact they never had a child together.
“I had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it’s all cool,” Safaree sings. “Inside I was feeling like a motherf---fool.”
It didn’t take Minaj, 32, who grew up in Queens, long to explode on Twitter.
“Took a person with me to fame & fortune. These dudes leave their girl in the hood. Tell ppl the truth or you will b doomed,” Minaj wrote between a flurry of tweets around midnight.
Minaj was plugging her role on the upcoming film “Barbershop 3” before her attention turned to homegrown drama.
“Enough with the pity party. Just live your life,” she tweeted before adding, “And just for the record, I'm in love with meek.”
