Chris Tucker Confirmed For “Last Friday”
Ice Cube got fans excited late last year, when he revealed
that he was planning a new film in his classic Friday film series … and was
reaching out to all the original cast, including Chris Tucker. At the time,
things were in the planning stages. However, in March, Ice Cube revealed that
the development of the fourth film was moving along, but there was one
snag, Chris Tucker was still
unconfirmed. The rapper said he and Chris had conversations about him reprising
the role of Smokey, but he was not confirmed. Now, this week Ice Cube has
confirmed, that Chris Tucker is a go. Check out what Ice Cube had to say
“I’m still writing [the screenplay]. I’m still in the process, I’m deep into it… [The title is] Last Friday. I want [Chris Tucker] to be in it. He’s given us every indication that he’s gonna be in it. Until he shows up on set, you never know. That’s really how it goes. Matt Barnes arrested in Manhattan Beach, Ca..
Matt Barnes is currently a free agent. So news of him being
arrested this evening in Manhattan Beach, Ca. might just take a few $$ off
whatever contract he gets from free agency. Barnes was arrested for an
outstanding traffic warrant- a pretty substantial one with a warrant worth
$26,000 – and for resisting arrest.
According to our sources … Matt was walking in Manhattan Beach
around 8:30PM when he was first approached by Manhattan Beach PD — and when
officers ran a check on him they discovered a massive $26,000 unpaid traffic
warrant for driving on a suspended license.
If Matt was simply walking, what made the officers stop him to begin with? Interesting case. Stay tuned for details.
"The Hobbit" Officially Announces Three-Part Film Plans
Sending Middle-Earth fans into a frenzy, Peter Jackson has
confirmed "The Hobbit" has officially become a trilogy after announcing on
Monday (July 30) plans for a third film instead of the originally scheduled
two.
Sharing the news through his facebook page, the franchise's director explained, "We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance."
The epic fantasy-adventure tale will begin this December when the first installment titled "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" opens with the follow-up film dubbed "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" due in December 2013.
Now, the pair of highly-anticipated flicks will be capped off by a third motion picture which is expected to hit theaters sometime in Summer 2014.

Middle-earth.
So, without further ado and on behalf of New Line Cinema,
Warner Bros. Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Wingnut Films, and the entire cast
and crew of “The Hobbit” films, I’d like to announce that two films will
become three.
It has been an unexpected journey indeed, and in the words of
Professor Tolkien himself, ”a tale that grew in the telling.”

Rapper Flesh-n-Bone's teenage daughter has been reported
missing by her family, TMZ has learned.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff, 15-year-old Monica Howse was last seen 7 days ago after being dropped off for work at the Taco Bell in Big Bear Lake.

Tennessee Titans O.J Murdock DEAD Committed SUICIDE!
A Tennessee Titans football player has died aged just 25 after
shooting himself while sitting in his car.
Wide receiver O.J. Murdock is the sixth NFL star to commit suicide in the last two years, a chilling trend which has sparked debate over the potential damage playing football can inflict on the brain.
The player was found in his car outside his old high school in Tampa, Florida around 8.30 on Monday morning, in critical condition after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Wide receiver O.J. Murdock is the sixth NFL star to commit suicide in the last two years, a chilling trend which has sparked debate over the potential damage playing football can inflict on the brain.
The player was found in his car outside his old high school in Tampa, Florida around 8.30 on Monday morning, in critical condition after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Doctors at Tampa General Hospital were unable to save him and he died just over two hours later.
Murdock had his whole life ahead of him, and faced the prospect of becoming a multi-millionaire through pursuing a sporting career.

At around 3.30am Murdock had sent a cryptic message to his Fort Hays State receivers coach Al McCray.
'It was like, "Coach, I appreciate everything you've done for me and my family,"' he told the Tampa Bay Times.
'At the end of the text he said, "I apologize" I figured he's
apologizing because he texted me so early.'
Mr McCray said he had spoken to the 25-year-old just days before his death and that he had seemed in good spirits, excited about going to see his mother.
'The people in Hays [Kansas], gosh, they love him so much,' he added. 'If he wanted to run for mayor, he would've won in a landslide.'
