BREAKING: White House Cancels Meeting With Philadelphia Eagles, Due to African American Players Planning not to Attending!✊✊

BREAKING: White House Cancels Meeting With Philadelphia Eagles, Due to African American Players not Attending!✊
President Donald Trump announced Monday the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles would not visit the White House on Tuesday due to the fact that some team members were boycotting the event.

"[The Eagles] disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country," Trump said in a statement released Monday evening. "The Eagles wanted to send a smaller delegation, but the 1,000 fans planning to attend the event deserve better."

Trump said Eagles fans are invited to the White House "to be part of a different type of ceremony — one that will honor our great country, pay tribute to the heroes who fight to protect it, and loudly and proudly play the National Anthem."

THANK YOU PHILADELPHIA EAGLES! #FlyEaglesFly

#RHoA: Is Kenya Showing her Baby Bump?
Kenya Moore and her husband, Marc Daly, may be getting ready to welcome a little one into their lives, but that doesn't mean The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple doesn't still make time for date nights.

Kenya and her "bae" recently hit up Topgolf for some nighttime golfing. She proved that her pregnancy style is on point with a chic ensemble of a long sleeve white top and white pants. Kenya added a pop of color with her red sneakers. Marc also kept it cool and casual in a T-shirt, shorts, and a baseball cap worn backwards. The RHOA couple can be seen cuddling up in the below photo Kenya posted on Instagram Tuesday.
According to some this is the first of Kenya showing her baby bump. Look closely and do you think that’s a baby bump?

Anyway as Kenya and Marc get ready to welcome their bundle of joy in late 2018, they will also soon be hitting another major milestone. The RHOA couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on June 10.

#Empire: Will Andre betray the EMPIRE?
This week’s episode begins with the Empire board chastising the “negligent and aggressive” behavior of the “current Lyon leadership” and reinstating Eddie as executive consultant. Needless to say, Lucious isn’t happy about it.

Andre shows up to play the role of exposition, reminding his father (and us) that Eddie just wants to convince the board to sell Empire to Kelly Patel. Cookie tries to convince Lucious that they need to buy the company back from the board and go private. Lucious says it was his “dream” to have the company traded on the New York Stock Exchange, but (thanks to flashbacks of all the touching moments where Cookie has supported his vision) ultimately he agrees that it’s the right move.

Lucious and Cookie prepare to head out to meet with mogul Sam Gold in hopes that he’ll help fund their campaign to buy back Empire, but before they can get out of the office, Eddie and Anika reveal that they’ve just come from Sam’s office and that he won’t be coming to their rescue.

Not to be deterred, the Lyons start calling all their famous friends (Oprah, the Obamas) and feel they’ve got the money needed to buy all of Empire’s shares…that is, until Thirsty turns on the TV and they see the price of their company’s shares skyrocketing right out of their price range. They suspect that Kelly Patel is behind the rise in prices. They need to figure out what Kelly’s price is — and Andre is sure he can convince Eddie that he wants to betray his family and get into his inner circle.

Anika doesn’t believe Andre’s claim of betrayal, but Eddie is open to hearing him out. Andre offers to hold a press conference and openly declare his allegiance to Eddie, which comes to fruition. Standing next to Kelly and Eddie, Andre announces the plans to sell Empire to Kelly.

The press conference works, and even Anika seems to believe they can trust Andre. They make plans to go out and celebrate, but not before Andre sneaks some photos of the plans and send them to his father. Now that they know what Kelly is willing to pay for Empire, Cookie suggests they throw a party and crowdsource the funds they need.

Giselle tries to convince Eddie that he shouldn’t trust Andre — or Anika for that matter — “she’s got duplicitous b—- written all over her fake boobs.” She tells Eddie they need an “ace up their sleeve.” He tells her he has a plan. Then the kiss. Boom.

Blake decides to confront his father mid-talk show interview. He claims that he didn’t want to take the photo that was leaked but his dad told him it would make him believe he was actually his son. Blake says he was taken to a racist rally the next day and was so disgusted that he went back to him mom’s and hadn’t seen his dad in the 15 years since then. It all devolves into a Jerry Spinger-esque brawl, which Lucious thinks will go viral. That makes him the perfect artist to invite back into the fold and to their fundraiser.

Lucious also wants Jamal’s secret band to perform. That’s right, he’s known all along it was them who released that track. Jamal refuses the offer. He wants to make music without worrying about sales.

Blake and Hakeem perform at the party and Tiana shows up to see what kind of “low rent” event they are throwing that will embarrass the company, but her smirk turns to a smile when she thinks Hakeem is going to bring her out on stage as his “baby.” But nope. He’s actually introducing Haven. “You don’t want to pick up your face?” Becky calls out to Tiana as the singer runs out of the event. To throw salt on the would, Haven sings Tiana’s part in “Big Shoes” with Hakeem on stage!

Back at the office, Eddie tells Andre that he knows Andre has been trying to play them. He knows Andre shared the numbers he saw with his parents. But instead of kicking him out, Eddie and Kelly embrace Andre and offer him the chance to become Kelly’s company’s CFO…if he’ll help shut down the “rent party.”

It’s a dream opportunity for Andre, and it throws him into a crisis of conscience. He ends up getting a techie to take a long break and he shuts the server down. Lucious is piiiiiissed, but Andre reveals that he took down the server so it would seem like he was going along with Eddie’s plan. What he actually did was take the server down for 15 minutes and he lifted the paywall so the event could be shared with the entire world…not really following how this is supposed to help them, but okay. Cookie goes out on stage and tells the audience that when the show continues, they are going to give them something that will “shock the world.” Backstage, they aren’t sure what that surprise is actually going to be — but Jamal shows up and agrees to debut his band at the event. His bandmates aren’t thrilled, but they agree to show up to support him.

As Lucious and Cookie introduce Anonymous, they give a rousing speech about the power of family and how they hope Empire inspires those around the world to pursue their dreams. (The speech is heard by a mom in her kitchen, a doctor at work in a hospital, and even an inmate who has a TV in her cell!)

Kelly is pissed that they paywall is back up and tells Eddie that he’s through with him if he can’t solve the problem. And, after Anonymous’ performance, the Lyons have raised over $75 million — more than enough to buy the company back.

Backstage, Haven reveals she’s headed back to Los Angeles to rekindle her relationship with her ex. Hakeem is sad but she tells him to hit her up if he ever actually gets over Tiana. That kinda came out of nowhere.

At the mansion, Lucious and Cookie are giving each other praise — and a little toungue, as the camera pans up and the sexytime music plays. The next morning, Giselle and Eddie show up during breakfast to reveal that they got Lucious’ goons to talk and reveal that Lucious killed Shyne. They have Lucious’ bloody scarf and threaten to take it to the police if the Lyons don’t rescind their bid for the company.

Cut to black! Ugh. Damn you Eddie!

#MusicNews: Miguel Confirms He Is Working On Spanish Album
Last year, Miguel traveled to Mexico where he connected with his families roots, including visiting the radio station where his Grandmother used to sing. After receiving an Oscar nomination for his song “Remember Me” from the movie Coco, the R&B maverick will follow his heritage with a Spanish language album.

The Mexican-American singer confirmed the news during an interview with “The Cruz Show” at Power 106’s annual PowerHouse concert.
He previously told Latina Magazine that acting in Ben Affleck’s American crime drama Live by Night inspired him to make the project. “Writing songs in Spanish is one of the things I started exploring after working on this film,” he said. “I look forward to working on more music in Spanish. It sounds ambitious, but I’m looking to release an album in Spanish later on this year. If nothing else, at least releasing a single or two in Spanish. Hopefully, you guys stay tuned to that.”

This year, he dropped a Spanish version of his hit “Sky Walker” and joined N.O.R.E., Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, and J Alvarez on the bilingual “Uno Más (Remix).”

Miguel is coming off the release of his latest album War & Leisure, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200.

#HipHopNews: Nicki Minaj Relocates Strip Club Appearance Due To "Overwhelming" Ticket Sales
Nicki Minaj stans who were hoping to get a glimpse of their idol after her Saturday Night Live performance in New York City aren’t going to see her in the strip club.
The promoter for the party told The Blast that the “Barbie Tingz” rapper was originally supposed to host an SNL after-party at the legendary Scores strip club in the Chelsea district, but when the ticket sales became “overwhelming,” the party was moved over to the Highline Ballroom, an upscale live-music venue on the border of the Chelsea district and the West Village.

In contrast to Scores, which only has a capacity of a few hundred people, the Highline Ballroom can hold up to 700 people.

And even though fans are hopeful she’ll use the Highline Ballroom opportunity to get on stage and perform a few songs, she’s not contractually obligated to do so. She’ll be hosting the party, while DJ Clue and DJ Reach provide the tunes.
Tickets for the event are available now, and their prices start at $40 for women and $60 for men. The table next to Minaj costs $20,100 per ticket.

Anyone who purchased a ticket for the Scores event will have their ticket honored by the Highline Ballroom

#BABYNEWS: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Welcome Baby No. 2
Congratulations are in order for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend!
The reigning queen of Twitter took to the platform to slyly tell fans that she and Legend had welcomed their second child, a baby boy. "Somebody's herrrrrre!" she wrote, adding the telling baby bottle emoji.

The happy news also means that 2-year-old Luna Simone is now a big sister! The toddler has been preparing for the role for months, and even helped mom Chrissy announce her pregnancy back in November 2017. The model shared a video of her bare belly while Luna pointed and said “baby.”

Teigen is particularly pumped that her second child is a boy. “I’m so excited because Luna’s such a daddy’s girl, and they say that boys just love their mamas. I’m already kind of thinking about how I’m not going to like his girlfriend. I can’t believe it, it’s crazy,” she told the Today show in January.

MTV Suspends ‘Catfish’ Production, Investigating Sexual Misconduct Claims Against Host Nev Schulman
MTV has temporarily suspended production on “Catfish: The TV Show” amid sexual misconduct claims made against host Nev Schulman.
According to the The Daily Beast, MTV has haulted production to investigate unspecified misconduct claims involving Schulman, who also serves as the show’s executive producer.

“We take these allegations very seriously. We’re working with Critical Content, our third party production company, to conduct a thorough investigation,” a spokesperson for MTV said in a statement to The Daily Beast.
“Catfish” is co-hosted by Schulman and Max Joseph. Schulman’s own online relationship chronicled in the 2010 documentary film, “Catfish,” spawned the investigative MTV series, which is now in its seventh season.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have Arrived For Royal Wedding Rehearsal
The Royal Wedding rehearsal is underway and the MVPs of the event have arrived!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are at Windsor Castle to prepare for their Saturday wedding, which will no doubt be the most covered ceremony of the year. On Thursday, the soon-to-be newlyweds were photographed arriving to their wedding location in a black Range Rover, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton, who were spotted in a separate SUV.
Prince Harry waved to the hundreds that gathered outside the Long Walk, while Markle showed off her beaming smile. The couple will go over final preparations then sit down for tea with The Queen.

NBC Passes On ‘Bad Boys’ Spinoff ‘L.A.’S Finest’ Starring Gabrielle Union & Jessica Alba
NBC has opted to pass on the “L.A.’s Finest,” the Bad Boys spin-off series starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.

Via The Hollywood Reporter: Sources say talks between NBC and Sony TV broke down as part of the annual packaging negotiation between the network and studio which, this year, focused on Norman Lear’s “Guess Who Died,” “L.A.’s Finest” and bubble dramas “The Blacklist” and “Timeless.”
“L.A.’s Finest,” which saw Union reprise her role from the second Bad Boys feature film, was considered the biggest slam dunk of pilot season given its built in premise, star and producing team. Union also personally recruited Alba — who hadn’t done TV in years — to be her co-star. The drama landed at NBC with a sizable penalty and was among the network’s first pilot pickups.

President Trump Invites The Philadelphia Eagles To The White House…Will they Go?
Hopefully they won’t GO!

The Philadelphia Eagles have officially been invited to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win ... and now the question is -- who's gonna show up?

The folks at 1600 Penn. announced the invite Thursday afternoon, saying "President Trump looks forward to welcoming the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House on June 5th to celebrate their Super Bowl LII win.”
The Eagles seemed to accept the invite saying ... they're "working through the logistics of a trip to Washington DC, including a visit to the White House, on June 5th."

Here's the thing ... several prominent players have made it VERY clear they have no interest in meeting up with Trump ... including Torrey Smith, Chris Long, Malcolm Jenkins and Dannell Ellerbe.

FYI -- the last team to be so outspoken about Trump -- the Golden State Warriors -- had their White House invite pulled after Stephen Curry opposed the visit.

So, while the whole team might visit the nation's capital next month. I hope they don’t show up at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

French Montana and Evelyn Lozada Split Up, Remain Friends
Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and French Montana are no longer romantically involved, but sources tell us they are still friends.
The two hooked up late last year, and Evelyn even spent her birthday weekend with Montana at his L.A. home and were together over New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas.

We’re told things have recently cooled off, which we’re told is fine between the two because it wasn’t too serious of a relationship to begin with.
Sources close to the former couple tell us they remain friendly and there is absolutely no ill will between the two.

As of now, both stars remain single and ready to mingle.

Kyle Richards Is Not Invited to Paris Hilton’s Wedding Due to Feud With Sister Kathy Hilton
Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka are tying the knot at the end of this year but sadly, not all of her family will be present on her special day.

According to a new report, tensions remain high between Paris’ mother, Kathy Hilton, and her aunt, Kyle Richards, and because of the ongoing drama between them, Paris will reportedly be leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star off the guest list.
“Kyle is going to miss her niece’s wedding,” a source told Life & Style magazine on May 16. “Kathy has resentment about Kyle’s upcoming TV show, American Woman, which is inspired by the life of their mom.”

During the reunion special for the RHOBH earlier this month, Kyle admitted that she and Kathy haven’t spoken to one another for six months and said her new series was a point of contention between them. As she explained to her co-stars, she believes that her sister has the wrong idea about the show, which premieres on Paramount Network next month, and hopes Kathy will have a change of heart once she sees the final product herself.

“I think she’s going to look and say, ‘I read the situation wrong,'” Kyle explained. “And then we’ll go from there.”

“I told her all the time. I said, ‘I’m not sharing your stories or Kim’s — these are my own stories.’ And not only that, it’s a fictionalized version of our life, and our mom being a single mom in the ’70s is the jumping-off point,” she continued.

While Kyle and Kathy are at odds at the moment due to her upcoming series, the show isn’t the only thing they’ve feuded over. In fact, the two women were involved in a years-long feud when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills began airing and during one particular episode, it was revealed that Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, may have prompted the family feud by leaving Kathy’s husband Rick’s real estate firm, Hilton and Hyland, to start his own competing brokerage, The Agency.

J. Cole says he Felt Used by Kanye West
Last month Kanye West publicized text messages from fellow musicians after he declared his love for Donald Trump and said African Americans chose to be slaves
J. Cole, one of the musicians who called Kanye, says he felt used after Yeezy tweeted about their conversation...

Cole tells Angie Martinez,
“He called me, but I would have never posted that or, like, tell him to post that. That made me feel a certain type of way. I told him that. He apologized, for the record. I told him that it felt like you just used my name in that very quick conversation for social media and to keep your thing going, whatever you were doing. It just felt like it wasn’t sincere because of that.”
“He said, right off the rip, ‘Man, I need you to hold me accountable. Keep me in check. Say whatever you gotta say. I need that. I feed off that. Are you sure? Because I see this a certain way.’ Actually, on the phone, I was concerned for him. That’s the real truth. I was wondering like, ‘Yo, am I supposed to be helping this dude?’ When you empower a demographic of people whose whole intent is to suppress and oppress people, I can’t rock with that.”
“You’re not freethinking when your ego is pulling the strings.”

Was Whitney Really MOLESTED by her cousin Dee Dee Warwick Sister of Dionne?
The new documentary Whitney just premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and it contains an explosive revelation about the late singing superstar Whitney Houston: According to one of her closest friends, Houston said that she was molested at a young age by Dee Dee Warwick, Houston’s cousin and the sister of Dionne Warwick.

For most of the documentary’s running time, director Kevin Macdonald brings Houston’s sadly curtailed life to the screen in a manner reminiscent of Amy, Asif Kapadia’s 2015 documentary about the late singer Amy Winehouse: It begins with the beautiful voice and the career full of promise, and then come the drugs, the bad-influence husband, the grifting family members, and finally the tragic death. Macdonald has considerably more access to Houston’s family and friends than other documentarians have had, but some topics are clearly still difficult for them to discuss: While on camera, ex-husband Bobby Brown refuses to talk about Houston’s late-in-life drug problems, and though the singer’s friends confirm that she was romantically involved with her assistant Robyn Crawford, Houston’s family members so loathe Crawford that they only will call her an evil opportunist.

The biggest bombshell comes near the end, as Macdonald digs into whether Houston may have been carrying around childhood trauma that affected the course of her troubled life. The early years were not easy ones for Houston, since her mother, the singer Cissy Houston, was often touring on the road and would leave Houston and her siblings with other families when she was away. Houston’s brother Gary tells Macdonald that during those frequent stays, a female family member molested him from the ages of 7 to 9.

And then Houston’s longtime assistant Mary Jones, one of the singer’s most trusted confidantes, says that Houston was molested, too. What’s more, she said Houston named Warwick as the perpetrator. “She used to say, ‘I wonder if I did something to make her think I wanted her,’” recalls Jones. “I said, ‘Stop. A predator is a predator.’”

Warwick, who was 18 years older than Houston, died in 2008.

According to Jones, the molestation had a profound and lingering affect on Houston’s life. “It made her question her sexual preference,” says Jones, who suspects that by marrying Brown and becoming a mother, Houston was trying in vain to emulate a more conventional life.

“I think she was trying to find herself,” says Jones. But in 2012, Houston died in a bathtub after struggling for years with substance abuse. At the time of her death, Houston had still not told her mother about what had happened to her as a child. “If you can’t know who you are,” says Jones, “then nothing’s gonna save you.”

BREAKING: Eagles to trade for Seahawks DE Michael Bennett!🐦🏈🏈🐦

BREAKING: Philadelphia Eagles to trade for Seahawks DE Michael Bennett!🐦🏈🐦
ESPN first reported the news. The Eagles will surrender a fifth-round pick and wide receiver Marcus Johnson for Bennett and a seventh-round pick. No trades can be official until the start of the league year next week.

Bennett, 32, totaled 8.5 sacks last season and has 54 during his 10-year career.  The three-time Pro Bowler will join an Eagles defensive end rotation that already has veterans Brandon Graham, Chris Long, and Vinny Curry, and 2017 first-round pick Derek Barnett.

This move, however, likely means the end of Curry’s six-year Eagles career. Curry will count $11 million against the salary cap, and the Eagles could save $5 million if they trade or release him.  The Eagles need the savings to help get under the salary cap before the league year begins next Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Bennett, who signed a three-year contract extension worth $31.5 million at the end of the 2016 season, has a $1.65 million base salary and roster bonuses of $4 million. The Seahawks are reshaping a roster that was once tops in the NFC, and Bennett is among a few big-name defensive players who could be departing Seattle this offseason.

Barnett will likely start at defensive end next season. Bennett and Long would give the Eagles proven pass rushers to rotate into the game, a priority for defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Bennett is an ideal fit for Schwartz’s scheme as an edge rusher and an interior rusher on third downs.

“We feel very confident for us to be successful on defense, it has to be waves of defensive linemen, that those guys come in fresh, that they’re fastballs off the edge and then the inside,” top executive Howie Roseman said last week at the NFL scouting combine.
Roseman vowed to be creative in trying to upgrade the roster even while tight against the salary cap and with fewer draft picks. He also said the Eagles would continue to prioritize the defensive line. This trade is an example, and it likely won’t be Roseman’s last offseason deal.

Bennett is also one of the NFL’s most notably outspoken players. He will join one of the NFL’s strongest locker rooms. Bennett has a book coming out next month, Things That Make White People Uncomfortable.
A few Eagles already applauded the move on social media, including Pro Bowlers Brandon Brooks and Zach Ertz.
The Eagles had two fifth-round draft picks, including one from Seattle acquired in a deal for Matt Tobin during the preseason. It’s not yet known which pick the Eagles are giving the Seahawks in this deal.

Johnson has been in the organization the past two years and excelled during training camp last season, although he fell to the No. 6 wide receiver last year when rookie Shelton Gibson passed  him in midseason.

The Philadelphia Eagles are your Super Bowl Champions Beating The New England Patriots In Super Bowl LII! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

The Philadelphia Eagles are your Super Bowl Champions Beating The New England Patriots In Super Bowl LII!🏆🏆🏆🏆
You'd be forgiven for having chalked up the win for New England.

After all, the Patriots may have been losing to the Philadelphia Eagles with just a few minutes to play — but they had Tom Brady under center, the man who has helmed countless fourth-quarter comebacks, including a rather historic one to win last year's title game. He had thrown for nearly 500 yards and three touchdowns already by this point. Surely this Super Bowl would play out just like so many we've seen before, with Brady steering the Pats down the field to pull out the win — right?
It didn't exactly pan out that way. In a slobberknocker of a matchup, with both offenses looking unstoppable for much of the game, it was ultimately Philadelphia's defense that made the decisive plays in the final minutes to win Super Bowl LII. First, they forced an uncharacteristic fumble by Brady, then — after a brief drive by Philadelphia — they stopped the Pats again on the last drive of the game.
Now, the Eagles are Super Bowl champs for the first time in franchise history.
And, in a development that even a psychic would have had a hard time believing at season's start, Nick Foles has been named Super Bowl MVP. The oft-maligned quarterback — who had been a backup riding the pine until a late-season injury sidelined franchise QB Carson Wentz — threw for more than 370 yards and went blow for blow with Brady, arguably the greatest player in NFL history.

In fact, it was Foles who connected on the game's the final haymaker, hitting tight end Zach Ertz for the go-ahead score with just a couple of minutes left on the clock.

But it was far from just Foles who led the Eagles' relentless attack. Rookie running back Corey Clement racked up 100 receiving yards, including a touchdown, while ex-Patriot LeGarrette Blount gashed his former team's defense for 90 rushing yards and a touchdown of his own.
The shootout saw both teams combine for more total yards than any other Super Bowl in history.

#EAGLES NATION: Philadelphia Eagles DESTROY Minnesota Vikings 38-7 In NFC Championship! 🏈🏈🏈

#EAGLES NATION: Philadelphia Eagles DESTROY Minnesota Vikings 38-7 In NFC Championship!🏈🏈🏈
Quarterback Nick Foles led the Philadelphia Eagles to their third Super Bowl appearance tonight, steering a dominating offensive performance to shock the Minnesota Vikings 38-7 in the NFC Championship.

Foles threw for more than 350 yards and three touchdowns, carving up the Vikings by using seven different receivers. He ended the game by completing 15 straight passes. Minnesota entered the game with the league’s top-rated defense, finishing the regular season allowing the fewest yards (275.9) and points (15.8) per game. But they were no match for Foles, a backup who seized control of the quarterback position after starter Carson Wentz went down with a knee injury.
By losing, Minnesota also lost the opportunity to become the first NFL team to play in a Super Bowl in their home stadium. After tying the game at 7-7 at the end of the first quarter, things spun out of control for the Vikings, and Philadelphia built a commanding 24-7 halftime lead. They poured it on in the third quarter, spurred on by roaring home fans who were, in the words of announcer Joe Buck, “Having a blast.”
Minnesota quarterback Case Keenum made a game try to lead his team back, but the Vikings had too big a lead to surmount, and he wound up with two interceptions to go with a lone touchdown pass. In the end, Eagles fans in the parking lot of  Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, who rioted before the game and had to be quelled by the Pennsylvania State Police, put up more of a fight than Minnesota, which entered the game as the conference’s No. 1 defense.
The Eagles (15-3) now move on to Super Bowl 52, which will be held on Sunday, Feb. 4 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota against the defending champion New England Patriots (also 15-3). The Pats will be making their 10th Super Bowl appearance, the most of any NFL team.

CHIP KELLY FIRED AS COACH OF THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES!

CHIP KELLY FIRED AS COACH OF THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

WELL DAMN! PHILADELPHIA -- The Chip Kelly revolution ended before it ever really began.
The Philadelphia Eagles abruptly fired Kelly on Tuesday night, five days before the final game of the 2015 regular season. Kelly's Eagles were eliminated from playoff contention when they lost to the Washington Redskins on Saturday night. That loss dropped the Eagles to 6-9. They were 2-5 over their past seven games, including losses in which they surrendered 45 points twice and 40 points once. Overall, Kelly's record in nearly three seasons as Eagles head coach was 26-21.

Kelly told Fox Sports on Tuesday night that he didn't fight owner Jeffrey Lurie's decision to fire him. He also told Fox Sports that he wants to stay in the NFL, as opposed to returning to college coaching. "We appreciate all the contributions that Chip Kelly made and wish him every success going forward," Lurie said in a statement released by the team. Sources told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio that Lurie had been thinking for weeks about making changes in the team's structure, including stripping Kelly of personnel control.

A news conference is scheduled for noon ET Wednesday. Pat Shurmur, the Eagles' offensive coordinator and the former head coach of the Cleveland Browns, will serve as interim head coach for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Last season, the Eagles again went 10-6. But they lost three of their last four games and missed the playoffs. Immediately after the season, Lurie decided to move Roseman, then the general manager, aside and give Kelly full control over personnel decisions.

Kelly wielded that new power, trading away quarterback Nick Foles and running back LeSean McCoy. He acquired Sam Bradford in the Foles deal, and running back DeMarco Murray and cornerback Byron Maxwell in free agency. He also released veteran guards Evan Mathis and Todd Herremans, and didn't re-sign wideout Jeremy Maclin. Lurie described the roster makeover as an attempt to "go from good to great." He also pointed out the inherent risk of going from good to mediocre, or worse.

That's what happened this season. The Eagles got off to a 1-3 start. Bradford, who looked stellar in the preseason, was uneven behind a patchwork offensive line. Murray never seemed comfortable in Kelly's offense. There was little sign of the team that had debuted so memorably in Washington two years earlier. After getting to 4-4 at the midway point, the Eagles took a severe downturn in recent weeks. They upset the New England Patriots on the road and defeated the Buffalo Bills to get to 6-7 but lost 40-17 to Arizona and then 38-24 to Washington to fall out of playoff contention.

"It's 100 percent on my shoulders. It's unacceptable," Kelly said after Saturday's loss. He also addressed whether he was on the hot seat, saying, "Anybody in my situation, if they're worried about getting fired, they probably already should have been fired. It's not good enough,
but I'm going to continue to work."

Kelly became the first Eagles head coach since Buddy Ryan in the 1980s to go through three seasons without a single playoff victory.

The Philadelphia Eagles OFFICIALLY Sign Demarco Murray!

The Philadelphia Eagles Officially Sign Demarco Murray!
Well here's some good news Philadelphia! Hours after arriving in Philadelphia, the Eagles have officially signed running back DeMarco Murray to a five-year deal. Chip Kelly said the Eagles were always looking to add two running backs to replace LeSean McCoy and once Frank Gore signed with the Colts yesterday, Kelly reached out to Murray who they thought would be out of their price range when free agency started.
Kelly also added that he still plans to retain restricted free agent running back Chris Polk.
And DeMarco seems very happy! Here's a Tweet for the Eagles Faithful!

Well here's something that has made me a little satisfied.
With all the other changes Chip Kelly is dong I'm confused!
