#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Just Announced a Major Career Move: "Coming Soon!"
Just weeks after confirming her next movie project, The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend revealed she had joined forces with Jovani — the high-end womenswear brand that left an indelible mark on the Bravo-verse.
Cynthia announced the move in via Instagram last week, fresh off her reunion with RHOA’s Phaedra Parks and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Adrienne Maloof. The trio posed together at a Tequila Comisario promotional event, where Cynthia shared a little taste of her Jovani collaboration.
Cynthia Bailey previews her fashion collaboration with Jovani
“Cynthia Bailey Suit Collection X JOVANI coming soon!” she captioned an August 23 photo. “This is one of my samples. What do you guys think?”
Fans immediately took to the comments section to compliment the ensemble, which featured a pair of black trousers and a two-tone blazer with black and red panels, a one-button closure, slanted pocket flaps, and notch lapels.
"Make some pants for the tall girls," one fan wrote, to which Cynthia replied, "They are long!!! I am 5’10."
The RHOA friend styled the suit with a lacy top, open-toed black heels, drop earrings, and a quilted shoulder bag. The mother of one also credited her glam to Jason Tavares and Marlissa Mo’Nique.
Cynthia did not provide any more details about the special Jovani collection, including when it was expected to drop.

Angela Oakley on the RHOA Beef She Squashed "Too Soon" & What You Didn’t See at the Reunion
It’s safe to say that the Housewife is quite familiar with the Jovani brand, as she has donned many of its pieces throughout the years. There was that orange ruffled dress with a plunging neckline, the off-the-shoulder semi-sheer gown, and the stunning yellow dress she wore to the RHOA Season 16 reunion. Cynthia spoke about the latter design in an interview with BravoTV.com, saying she was thrilled with the reunion's yellow theme.
“Lord knows we need all the brightness, all the light that we can get,” Cynthia said ahead of the three-part special. “It also gives a little bit of old Hollywood glam, which I love, of course, as an ‘up-and-coming’ actress.”
Before delving into the acting world, Cynthia began her career as a model. The Alabama native would go on to appear in numerous fashion magazines and catwalks before launching her very own modeling school in Atlanta. She reflected on her experience in an April 5 Instagram post, admitting she was “terrified” when she arrived in New York City to start her career at the age of 18.
“But I was more afraid not to follow my dreams and go for it!” she wrote. “To fearlessly walk into the life that God had planned for me. My journey was not easy & I worked hard everyday towards success. I kept my faith in God & never gave up.”

According to Ledisi, “You’ve Got What It Takes” was a “must” for the project. She explained that she wanted to maintain the original’s “loose, playful energy” and mirror some of Washington’s style. The new album, which is set to be released on October 3, will also feature collaborations with other artists and musicians.

#HipHopNews: Cardi B Jokes She “Used To Be A Professional Ballerina” In Promo For ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’
Cardi B surprised NYC subway riders by selling her new album, AM I THE DRAMA?, face-to-face.
The rapper joked with commuters, sold CDs and vinyls, and had a hilarious run-in with a rat.
Her subway stunt is part of a larger, unconventional rollout that includes meet-and-greets and street-level promos.
Cardi B is determined to sell her sophomore album, AM I THE DRAMA?, by any means necessary. On Friday (Sept. 12) night, the rapper posted a video of herself trying to convince subway riders to buy her CDs and vinyl copies of the project.
“Good evening, everybody. I’m out here tryna sell these CDs. I’m trying to change my life around. I used to be a professional ballerina,” she joked, seemingly referring to her stripper days. “But I’m trying to set a better example for my kids.”
She told one commuter the CDs were going for $9.99, while vinyls cost “about 20, 30 dollars.” The Grammy-winning rapper added, “Please support a mother of three.” At one point, the Cardi freaked out when a large rat scurried past on the platform. “Oh my God!” she shouted. “I can’t, I can’t, I can’t.” Toward the very end, she said, “Get me out of here.”
AM I THE DRAMA? is less than a week away from release. As Cardi humorously captioned her latest video, “Seven more days until I find out if I’m going to lose my home.” The rapper has been pulling off all sorts of hilarious antics leading up to the album’s release, like burning sage while selling copies of her LP outdoors last Saturday (Sept. 6).
She also recently announced a meet-and-greet tour, slated to start the same day her album comes out on Friday (Sept. 19). Fans can catch the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker in cities like New York, Atlanta, Houston, and Long Island as long as they grab a CD directly from the retailer hosting the event.
In the meantime, songs like “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz” are available to stream. Cardi also decided to include past hits such as “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Up” on the album because she felt they “deserve a home.”

Bernice King Criticizes Meme Comparing Charlie Kirk to Civil Rights Icons

The image, circulated by Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, featured Kirk side-by-side with Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Dr. King and Jesus under the caption “All Because of Words.” The suggestion that Kirk—who was recently killed—deserved the same reverence as these assassinated leaders quickly ignited backlash online.
“There are so many things wrong with this. So many. I get tired, y’all,” King wrote on Twitter, responding directly to the meme.
Critics immediately pushed back, pointing out that Lincoln, Kennedy, King and Jesus were all figures who either died fighting injustice or became symbols of sacrifice. Kirk, a polarizing conservative voice, had a record that stood in stark contrast.
According to reports, Kirk had previously called Dr. King “awful” and “not a good person.” He also publicly opposed the Civil Rights Act—landmark legislation that Dr. King championed.
Many on social media called the meme “a slap in the face” to Dr. King’s legacy. Others noted that the historical figures in the image were persecuted for challenging oppressive systems, while Kirk often aligned himself with those systems.
King has long been vocal when public figures distort or misuse her father’s image. This latest episode adds to a growing list of moments where she’s had to step in and correct the record.

Bad Bunny Skips U.S. Tour Dates Over ICE Fears
Bad Bunny pulled the plug on bringing his sold-out world tour to the United States, citing fears that Immigration and Customs Enforcement might target his Latino audience.
In a revealing interview with i-D magazine, the Puerto Rican chart-topper explained that his decision to skip U.S. cities wasn’t out of spite but out of concern for the safety of those who attend his shows.
“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate. I’ve performed there many times,” he said. “All of them have been magnificent.”
The “DTMF” artist said the idea of ICE agents showing up at his concerts was a real and persistent worry. “There was the issue of, like, f**king ICE could be outside. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
More than 500 people have been arrested in immigration sweeps since January, adding weight to Bad Bunny’s concerns.
In June, he posted a profanity-filled Instagram Story showing what appeared to be an ICE operation in Avenida Pontezuela, Puerto Rico, captioned simply, “ice.”
The reggaeton superstar has never been shy about calling out immigration enforcement.
His decision to avoid U.S. venues was part of a broader conversation within his team about how to protect vulnerable communities that make up a large part of his audience.
Bad Bunny’s last U.S. performance was before the immigration crackdown that intensified in early 2025.

Ego Nwodim Announces SNL Exit After 7 Seasons

Ego Nwodim has declared she is leaving Saturday Night Live after seven seasons, stepping away ahead of the show’s 51st season. The comic made the announcement via Instagram on Friday, saying she “decided to leave SNL.”
In her post, Nwodim reflected on her time with the long-running sketch show. “The hardest part of a great party is knowing when to say goodnight,” she wrote. “After seven unforgettable seasons, I have decided to leave SNL. I am immensely grateful to Lorne for the opportunity, to my castmates, the writers, and the crew for their brilliance, support, and friendship.”
She added, “Week after week on that stage taught me more than I could have ever imagined, and I will carry those memories (and that laughter) with me always. Now invite me to your weddings please!!!”
Nwodim joined SNL in 2018 as a featured player during Season 44. She was promoted in 2020 to repertory status. Over her tenure, she built a reputation for memorable sketches and characters. She became well known for “Lisa from Temecula,” a viral fan favorite. She also gained attention for her alter-ego “Miss Eggy” on Weekend Update, especially during a performance that included a live audience call-and-response resulting in an unexpected profanity.
Nwodim’s exit is part of a broader cast realignment heading into Season 51, which begins Oct. 4 on NBC and Peacock. Already, several cast members have departed: Heidi Gardner, Devon Walker, Emil Wakim, and Michael Longfellow. Writers Celeste Yim and Rosebud Baker are also among those leaving. Meanwhile, show creator Lorne Michaels had forewarned of changes ahead of the new season.
Despite the departures, SNL is adding new featured players for the next season.
Season 51 is now set to premiere October 4, marking a reshaped cast and new beginnings for many.

Janet Hubert Dishes on Relationship with Will Smith Now After Years-Long Feud
Janet Hubert, remembered for portraying Aunt Vivian in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, says her relationship with Will Smith is now “so good,” marking a significant turn after three decades of public tension.
Hubert, 69, made the revelation during an appearance on Atlanta’s V-103 radio station, The Big Tigger Show, where she reflected on their fraught history and long path to reconciliation. “It’s so good,” she replied when asked about her current relationship with Smith.
In a moment of levity, Hubert added she had returned to “the scene of the crime” – the same station where her feud with Smith once reached its peak.
Hubert also credited Smith’s team with helping to build a website to advance her animated feature, JG and the BC Kids. She said, “Imma give my baby his props. He put together the website with his team for me.”
Their relationship has evolved considerably since the HBO Max Fresh Prince 30th anniversary special in 2020. During the special, Smith admitted that he “made a horrible error and misjudgment of her value and power and beauty to the show.”
Hubert has said that they now “text each other back and forth all the time.”
The feud began after Hubert left the sitcom in its third season in 1993, citing “creative differences.” She said she was offered a poor contract and was trapped by restrictive terms.
Smith initially labeled her “difficult” and said she “wanted the show to be The Aunt Viv of Bel-Air Show.” The conflict escalated through years of sharp exchanges.
Hubert recalled painful effects, particularly words she said damaged her life. “Words can kill,” she said. “Calling a Black woman difficult in Hollywood is the kiss of death.”
The 2020 reunion was a healing catalyst. Hubert and Smith confronted their past openly. Smith recognized Hubert’s struggles, saying he didn’t know the full extent of what she endured: “I was so driven by fear and jokes and comedy.”
Hubert described the reunion as “very healing,” saying, “We’ve come full circle, everybody.”

Michelle Williams Reveals How Destiny’s Child Reunited

Michelle Williams recently shared how Destiny’s Child reunited for an epic performance.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Williams shared how the reunion took place. The iconic trio performed at Beyoncé’s final Cowboy Carter Tour show on July 26.
At the Las Vegas concert, Williams, Kelly Rowland, and Beyoncé sang some of their biggest hits, including “Independent Woman,” “Lose My Breath, and “Bootylicious.”
It was their first performance since 2018 when they reunited for Beyoncé’s Coachella show. Williams said they have “a little more time” to prepare for this performance.
Williams described the reunion as an “awesome, spur-of-the-moment” decision.
“This one was, ‘Y’all let’s do this,’ and we did,” Williams said.
When asked if a full-blown Destiny’s Child reunion was in the works, Williams is open to the idea.
“Anything is possible,” she said. “To me, performing on stage is like that for me… I only like it with Beyoncé and Kelly. But as far as Broadway, I’m a Broadway girl… Music? I only want to do it with them.”
Williams also spoke about how the group came up wth the setlist for the performance.
“See, I don’t like giving away secrets,” she said. “There are talks, but I think too, why we’re able to have impact too, it’s not only the fact that people miss us, it’s because of what we don’t share… When you see us, you see us, and when you don’t…”
Elsewhere in the episode, Williams revealed her favorite Destiny’s Child song.
“Okay, so, I would say ‘Say My Name’ by far,” she said. “The musicality is still relevant… and it was the first I was ever on commercially.”
Cohen then asked Williams if Beyoncé’s Act III could be a full Destiny’s Child album.
“Now Andy, if that were the case…” she began, then Cohen jumped in, “this would be the last place that you would…” the “Say Yes” hitmaker laughed, “It’s not the last place…,”

Malcolm-Jamal Warner's Widow Breaks Silence On Actor's Death With Special Announcement
Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s widow is breaking her silence on the “Cosby Show” actor’s death, nearly two months after he accidentally drowned during a vacation in Costa Rica. Malcolm-Jamal Warner was 54 years old and is survived by his daughter as well as his wife, Tenisha Warner.
“Thank you for holding us in so much love during this tender time,” she wrote on Friday on Instagram. “Tomorrow marks our anniversary — and my heart is wide open. For the first time, I’m sharing a glimpse of the love that began it all.”

“I can still hear my husband’s laugh, still feel the way he made room for every part of me — every tear, every dream,” Tenisha Warner said. “Today, in his honor, my daughter and I are launching River & Ember and officially opening The Warner Family Foundation.”
The foundation’s website explains that a “Creative Legacy Fund” named after the actor will provide scholarships for people ages 14 to 22 and start “nurturing the next generation of artists.” Malcolm-Jamal Warner was a poet and musician in addition to being an actor.
“Together we carry the legacy my husband and I began— one that nurtures children’s inner light and gives young artists the freedom to create outside the lines,” Tenisha Warner wrote Friday. “This is love, Still moving. Still making. Still carrying us forward.”
Tenisha Warner has been mostly out of the spotlight during her marriage, with numerous outlets describing her announcement Friday as a so-called “confirmation” of her identity. Malcolm-Jamal Warner never publicly shared her or their daughter’s name.
The late actor, who played Theodore Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” and landed a 1986 Emmy nod, was reportedly swimming at Playa Grande in Cahuita, a Costa Rican village, when a current swept him away. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have since confirmed that he died from accidental asphyxiation by submersion.

Tenisha Warner shared in an official statement accompanying her post that River & Ember, described online as a “seasonal digital” toolkit for parents and young children, sprang from her knowledge “as a doctor of psychology” and her personal journey with grief.
“River & Ember began with two simple forces: the steady flow that carries us forward, and the quiet warmth that keeps us alive inside,” read the statement. “My husband embodied both. His presence was a river - steady, sure, and always moving toward what matters.”
Trey Songz settles lawsuit over alleged 2018 sexual assault

Trey Songz has settled a lawsuit relating to an alleged nightclub incident.
In 2021, Jauhara Jeffries filed a complaint against the R&B singer, real name Tremaine Neverson, in which she alleged he groped her at a venue in Miami, Florida on New Year's Eve in 2018.
Jeffries accused Neverson of assault and battery, and in her filing, alleged he non-consensually penetrated her with his fingers while they were on the dancefloor.
The 40-year-old denied all allegations. While the case had been due to go to trial next month, editors at Billboard reported on Wednesday that the matter had been settled out of court.
No details were shared. "This court has been advised that the matter has been settled as to all parties and therefore, it is hereby ordered and adjudged that this case is dismissed," wrote Judge Antonio Arzola in an order. "The court reserves jurisdiction to enforce the settlement and to enter orders necessary to this enforcement."
Representatives for Neverson and Jeffries declined to comment on the decision.
It's not the first time the Slow Motion star has been accused of sexual misconduct.
In 2022, Neverson settled a lawsuit filed against him by a woman who claimed he sexually assaulted her at a party in 2016, while he is expected to go on trial next year relating to a sexual assault lawsuit filed against him relating to an alleged 2021 incident.
The Virginia native is expected to testify during the trial, which is slated to begin on 16 March.

Shaquille O’Neal Gives Financial Aid To North Carolina Family Grieving Four Daughters From House Fire
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has stepped in to help a North Carolina family facing unimaginable loss. Four young sisters were killed in a house fire on Aug. 30. Now, with O’Neal’s help, all expenses related to their funeral and memorial will be covered.
The victims — girls aged between 2 and 7 — were all sisters. Their father, Patrick Ellis, and their 11-year-old sister survived. Authorities are still investigating the fire.
O’Neal joined forces with multiple sheriffs from Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina to lift the financial burden from the Ellis family.
Sheriffs from Henry, Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties in Georgia contributed, along with law enforcement partners in Florida.
In an official release, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office said the combined donations “fully cover the expenses associated with honoring the girls.”
“As a father, my heart is broken for the Ellis family,” O’Neal said. “What I can offer is love, support, and a promise that their lives will not be forgotten.”
Sheriff Reginald B. Scandrett of Henry County, Ga., also spoke of the tragedy in personal terms. “The loss the Ellis family has endured is one that shakes us all to our core,” he said. “Our goal is to remind them they do not walk this journey alone.”
In letters and public statements, Patrick Ellis expressed that his “heart was shattered beyond words.” He called his daughters “my joy, my light, and my purpose.” He also thanked supporters.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13, in Columbus County to honor the sisters. Representatives from Henry County and other participating sheriffs will attend.
The cause of the blaze remains undetermined. Investigators continue probing what led to the tragic deaths.

Jay-Z Backs Times Square Casino Despite Local Pushback

Jay-Z is continuing to support a bid to build a casino in Times Square despite widespread opposition from locals.
The Roc Nation founder, who has partnered with investment trust SL Green and gambling company Caesars Entertainment, described the plan as an extension of New York’s cultural life rather than a threat to it.
Developers promise $7 billion in tax revenue as well as nearly $250 million in community benefits.
The development has come under recent scrutiny, with a poll finding that 70% of locals oppose the plan.
“New York City is the entertainment capital of the world, so the idea of a world-class casino here makes perfect sense,” Jay-Z told City & State NY. “I’ve always looked at opportunities that can shift culture while uplifting communities, and Caesars Palace Times Square is exactly that.”
Supporters have highlighted estimates of up to $7 billion in projected tax revenue, thousands of jobs, and major local investment, with $250 million estimated to be generated in community benefits.
But for many residents and businesses, promises don’t outweigh the risks. Broadway producers, unions, and small business owners have united in opposition, worried about congestion, crime, and a shift in the area’s character.
Jay-Z said in July that the casino would allow Times Square to "fulfill its promise."
Recent polling underscores just how steep the hill may be for the Times Square project. A Tulchin Research survey commissioned by the No Times Square Casino coalition found that 67% of local voters oppose the casino plan, with half of those strongly opposed. Only 24% backed the idea, while
9% remained undecided.
The opposition stretches across gender, age, and political divides. Three-quarters of voters over 55 reject the idea, but even younger residents are skeptical. Of those surveyed, 77% fear crime will increase, 75% worry the district will become less livable, and 74% cite traffic concerns.

Drew Sidora is Accused by Stylist of Unpaid Work and Lack of Credit on Album Cover Shoot

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora released her album, I Did It to Me, in 2025 to much acclaim from R&B music fans. Now, she’s being called out by the stylist behind the cover of the album over her allegedly neglecting to pay or provide proper credit.
The making of Drew’s album was one of the most significant topics on season 16 of RHOA. This was the case because she chose to collaborate with Porsha Williams‘ ex-fiance, Dennis McKinley, on the project. Their working together led to tension between the two Housewives stars as well as rumors of an affair, something she and Dennis have denied.
The stylist responsible for Drew’s look for her album cover, a man who goes by the name D Rushing, recently took to TikTok to make his claims against the RHOA star, actress, and singer. “This would have been a come to style a housewife of Atlanta with me, but it ain’t end well, so this ain’t that,” he begins.
As he shares the footage of Drew preparing for the shoot and then taking the necessary pictures, proving that he was on set for the photo shoot. The stylist then says, “Imagine finally getting a call to style a real housewife of Atlanta from season 16 and you already get asked to do the photoshoot under some circumstances that you normally wouldn’t even accept.”
He continued, stating that he accepted the job styling Drew because “work’s been slow and it’s a great opportunity to do a housewife.”
From there, the stylist stated, “Now, at the shoot, it was multiple minor things that bothered me, but it was just like, ‘I’m doing a job and I’m getting out of here.'” He also says that he helped Drew post for the shoot, and he looked over the “mini bullsh**.”
The stylist also noted that Drew was filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta at this time.
Fast-forward a year, and the album is coming out. The problem is that “all these pictures of my work are being posted and I’m not being tagged.” He also states, “Nor have I been paid at this point. I was only paid for her wardrobe.”
From there, the video turns into a warning for other service workers. He said, “Get your payment. No matter who they are and who they work for, make sure you are paid. Additionally, the man stated that doing “promo work” is okay, but stylists should make sure it’s “beneficial to their brand.”

Fox News Host Brian Kilmeade Makes Shocking Comment About Mentally Ill Homeless People, Suggests Killing Them by Involuntary Lethal Injection
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade has left people shocked by his comment about mentally ill homeless people.
During an episode of Fox & Friends, which aired on September 10 and is now going viral, there was a discussion about North Carolina having “soft-on-crime policies” amid the fatal stabbing of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska. The discussion led to unhoused people, with the hosts noting that the murder suspect should have been removed from the streets years ago.
Host Lawrence Jones pointed out that it’s not just an issue in North Carolina, it’s “happening all across the country, and it’s not a money issue.”
“They have given billions of dollars to mental health and the homeless population. A lot of them don’t want to take the programs, a lot of them don’t want to get the help that is necessary. You can’t give them a choice. Either you take the resources that we’re going to give you and — or you decide that you are going to be locked up in jail. That’s the way it has to be now,” Jones said.
Kilmeade then made his shocking suggestion.
“Or involuntary lethal injection. Or something. Just kill them,” he said.
Gavin Newsom, the Democratic governor of California, responded on Twitter with a Bible verse. He wrote, “Proverbs 21:13: Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered.”
Fox News recently underwent a lineup change for its weekend schedule.
