#RHOA: Kenya Moore Claims Bravo Edited Out Major Brit Eady Threat
While most folks were celebrating Easter, 4/20, or a combination of the two, we were busy watching Kenya Moore’s new YouTube video. She promised to spill more tea on Brit Eady and everything we didn’t see on Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16, so we clocked in and watched the entire 30-minute video.

During the video, which she’s calling “Moore Confessionals,” Kenya continued her narrative that Bravo didn’t take Brit’s pistol comments as seriously as they should have. Plus, she claimed that some of Brit’s most egregious threats were edited out of the show. The plot thickens
On RHOA Season 16 Episode 5, we all clearly heard Brit make references to pistols and whips following a petty argument with Kenya. After the episode aired, Brit claimed she never had any weapons on her. Additionally, Andy Cohen said that Bravo investigated the threat and found that she didn’t violate any of the network’s policies. Of course, Kenya shared a very different take in her YouTube video.

Kenya recalled, “She was yelling and screaming, and it was then when that I heard her say the following words, ‘That’s why I keep a pistol for bitches like you.’”
“You didn’t hear it. I heard it,” Kenya continued. “It didn’t make the edit.”

According to Kenya, she immediately went to the showrunner to express concerns about her safety. She said she felt like Brit was threatening to “unalive” her. She also contacted the production company the next day to report the incident. However, she felt like the subsequent investigation was a sham.

Mocking the investigation, Kenya said, “Hey, did you have a gun that night? No? Okay, case closed.”
At the time of the pistol comment, Brit had only been filming for three weeks. With over a decade of history with Bravo, Kenya felt like the network should have prioritized her. Kenya theorized that if Brit had said something like this in a different Housewives city, the result would have been dramatically different.

Kenya asked, “If that happened on [Real Housewives of] Beverly Hills, do you think she would be in jail, or punished, or out of a job? Do you think if she had said that to Kyle [Richards] or Teresa Giudice or any other Housewife on any other show, do you think she would still have a job?”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues on Bravo every Sunday at 8/7c

#NewMusic from Keri Hilson Returns With New Album ‘We Need To Talk: Love’

“It is kind of a comeback,” Keri Hilson utters towards the end of “Grateful (Intro),” the opening track of her long-awaited album, We Need To Talk: LOVE. Hilson’s first album in 15 years, available now, will be released in three parts. The first installment is a heart-to-heart with herself, her fans, and future romance.

“It’s not a super conceptual moment. It’s not super melodic or too heavily arranged. It is just straightforward,” Hilson told Rated R&B in an exclusive interview. “This is what that means for me and the project. It’s kind of like step one. The inspiration is simplicity.”
On Danja-produced “Naked,” Hilson strips down to her bare essence, revealing a self that’s vulnerable yet fully realized. “I was heartbroken / I’m human, but I’m better now / I took the red pill / Remember, all I’m offering is the truth, nothing more,” she sings.

Aside from self-love and self-acceptance, Hilson also explores romantic love. The Method Man-assisted “Searchin” is a hip-hop soul smash where Hilson seeks to find an authentic love: “I’m looking for a real love / I’m searchin’, I’m searchin’ / Tell me is it you.”
Songs like the ‘80s-tinged “Somethin (Bout U)” and the lead single “Bae” underscore love’s euphoria. “Love it when you love me, hold me, touch me, come here bae,” she coos on the latter track. Hilson’s fans will be delighted that she included “Scream,” which many demanded to be released despite getting leaked years ago.

Closing with “Say That,” Hilson seeks reassurance from her partner, urging him to love her out loud. “If it’s yours / Say it’s yours, yeah / Don’t be insecure / Put your name on it,” she sings.
We Need To Talk: LOVE feels like a return rather than a comeback. The nine-track offering is more personal and expressive and less about chasing a hit. Don’t get it twisted: Keri Hilson has hits — her own and ones she’s written for others. There’s no sense that she’s trying to prove anything, except a new sense of purpose, growth and presence.

We Need To Talk: LOVE is Hilson’s first body of work since her 2010 sophomore album, No Boys Allowed. The album included the hit single “Pretty Girl Rock,” written by Ne-Yo and produced by Chuck Harmony.
No Boys Allowed, which debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, included collaborations with Chris Brown, Nelly, Kanye West, Timbaland and Rick Ross.

#HipHopNews: Lil Wayne Unveils The Cover Art For 'Tha Carter VI'
Lil Wayne has officially unveiled the cover art to the forthcoming Tha Carter VI
Shared on Tuesday (April 22), the artwork features a smiling baby Weezy covered in his signature face tattoos, a la 2008’s Tha Carter III and 2012’s Tha Carter IV.
Along with the art, Wayne also launched the accompanying merch for the project, which includes vinyls and CDs (including autographed versions), as well as a tee and a hoodie. You can shop them here.

Tha Carter VI is due out on June 6.
In a new cover story for Rolling Stone, Lil Wayne confirmed a number of high-profile (and in some cases unlikely) guests on the new album, including Miley Cyrus, U2’s Bono and opera singer Andrea Bocelli.

The project will also feature Machine Gun Kelly, dancehall legend Elephant Man and Wayne’s 15-year-old son Kameron.
Behind the boards, the lineup of producers includes Wyclef Jean, Wheezy and possibly Kanye West.
Wyclef appears to be overseeing the album and has even started an “informal” supergroup with Wayne called the Gumbo, which also includes New Orleans musicians Jon Batiste, Ledisi, Trombone Shorty and PJ Morton.

Weezy says of the star-studded supporting cast: “If there’s one thing about this album that’s different, it’s me approaching it like, ‘Man, what would I sound like on something with such and such?’”
Elsewhere in the interview, the Young Money founder says he’s open to recording a sequel to his and Birdman‘s 2006 album Like Father, Like Son but with his teenage sons — Kameron, Dwayne III and Neal — who are all following in his footsteps as rappers.

Wayne also addresses Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans this past February — a hometown gig he had openly coveted and one which appeared to cause friction between the “Mona Lisa” collaborators.
“Wayne tells me things are fine between him and Lamar; Wayne called the L.A. rapper ahead of the Super Bowl to clear the air and to encourage him,” the article reads.

The 42-year-old also claims the NFL gave him the impression they were going to offer him the performance, and he received an apology from someone at the league saying: “We ain’t in charge [of the halftime show]” after Kendrick was announced as the headliner.
Wayne reveals that he has no ill will towards JAY-Z, who plays a key role in organizing the halftime show, but is no longer interested in performing at the Super Bowl: “They stole that feeling. I don’t want to do it. It was perfect.”

Beyoncé’s Mother Tina Knowles Reveals Breast Cancer Battle

Beyoncé‘s mother Tina Knowles has revealed a battle with breast cancer, though it’s thankfully now behind her.
In a new conversation with People, the mother of two expounded on the news, which she recently revealed in her new memoir, Matriarch.

“I struggled with whether I would share that journey [in the book] because I’m very private. But I decided to share it because I think it’s a lot of lessons in it for other women,” she said. “And I think as women, sometimes we get so busy and we get so wrapped up and running around, but you must go get your test. Because if I had not gotten my test early, I mean, I shudder to think what could have happened to me.”

The diagnosis came last July, when doctors discovered stage 1 breast cancer in her left breast.
“It’s important not to slack on your mammograms,” she noted. “I forgot that I didn’t go to get my test two years before. I thought I had, because Covid came and they called me and canceled me and they said, ‘We’ll call you when we start testing again.’ And I just thought I had done it. So you cannot play around with that.”

Months after the dx, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor, as well as a breast reduction – and now she’s cancer-free.
“I’m doing great,” she added. “Cancer-free and incredibly blessed that God allowed me to find it early.”

As for how her daughters handled the situation, Tina said: “[Bey] took it well, staying positive, and I could already feel her mind racing, focusing on this as a task to tackle with precision.” And Solange said, “Mom, we are going to take care of this.”
Amid her breast cancer scare, Tina Knowles reached a settlement with her now-ex husband, Richard Lawson.
In August, In Touch reported that Knowles, who filed for divorce in 2023, agreed to pay Lawson $300,000 as part of the terms of their settlement.

Beyond that, neither side will get any spousal support.
In addition, the settlement contains a non-disparagement clause, so neither Knowles nor Lawson will be able to say anything bad about each other, their children, or those childrens’ spouses.
Lawson was Knowles’ second husband. They married in 2015.

Knowles filed to split up the marriage in July of 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple share no children together.
At the time, Ms. Tina petitioned the court to terminate Richard’s ability to ask for spousal support, so he doesn’t ask her for money after the split.
She also requested that the court restore her legal name to Celestine Knowles, as she’d changed it to Celestine Lawson when she first got married.

Fans Blast “Biased” Media Reports Of ‘Sinners’ Box Office Numbers
Actor Ben Stiller and others addressed the seemingly skewed coverage of the historic film.
Ryan Coogler’s new horror-thriller Sinners has become both a box office juggernaut and the center of a heated media debate, after several outlets came under fire for what many social media users described as biased and coded coverage of the film’s success.
Though reports acknowledge that Sinners, starring Michael B. Jordan, is an overwhelming financial and critical success, some critiques embedded in the reporting have left audiences frustrated — and they’re letting it be known.
One widely circulated article acknowledged Sinners‘s historic debut, noting that the film achieved the highest CinemaScore ever for a horror movie.

Still, the report urged readers to temper their celebration, emphasizing that the film has yet to recoup its budget, a comment many deemed unnecessary and inconsistent with how other big-budget films — particularly those led by non-Black directors — have been covered.
Even more incendiary was the article’s observation that Sinners‘s opening weekend audience was “predominantly Black,” followed by the suggestion that the film “could benefit from broadening its reach among other demographics.”

This sparked outrage across social platforms, with one user posting: “I really want to know if the Times has EVER pointed out when a movie’s CinemaScore audience was mostly white and suggested it diversify its audience to find true success,” alongside a screenshot from the article
Adding fuel to the fire was a note about Coogler’s salary, which the article described as “unusually generous given its genre and rating” — a statement many readers interpreted as dismissive, given Coogler’s acclaimed track record with films like Black Panther and Fruitvale Station.

Actor Ben Stiller also joined the conversation, posting online that he was puzzled why a film with the level of acclaim Sinners has received would “warrant” any negative undertones in coverage of its success.
Despite the media scrutiny, Warner Bros. has remained publicly supportive. With a reported $150 million investment in production and marketing, the studio released a statement expressing satisfaction with the film’s early performance: “Sinners is on track to be both profitable and among this year’s most critically acclaimed movies.”

As the conversation continues to evolve online, Sinners finds itself not just at the center of box office charts, but also at the heart of ongoing discussions about race, media framing, and the long-standing disparities in Hollywood coverage.

Ye Claims Playboy Magazines Were Within Kids’ Reach “Like Candy” At Kylie Jenner’s Home
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, continues to question why his famous peers refuse to assist him in gaining custody of his four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. His latest rant finds him name dropping JAY-Z and Beyoncé — again — as well as Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Elon Musk, and Pres. Donald Trump.

“Why are you all watching and letting Kim take my kids from me in real time,” Ye questioned via X. “Yall wanna say I’m acting out cause of things in my childhood, But I don’t get to be a dad. As celebrities We are a family in a way. We are all in the same boat. It cuts me to my core that my kids are being indoctrinated to serve ideals to black people, And all these f**king celebrities just get the popcorn You guys can make a difference. I’m f**king shaking typing this. I’ve had my rights stripped because I wore a f**king red hat That’s when I had a breakdown and was put in the hospital.”

Ye, who shares daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 7, and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5, with Kardashian, went on to say he hasn’t seen his son Saint since 2024 before claiming a trip to Kylie Jenner‘s home the morning of Kobe Bryant’s fatal helicopter crash was cause for concern regarding his children’s well being.

“The day Kobe died, we all went to Kylie’s house and [there] in a stand next to the couch in the front living room were vintage Playboy magazines strategically placed within arms reach of every child in that house, which was every half black baby. Yall know what that is, why that is, and who is behind that,” he claimed, adding that recording controversial new song “COUSINS” — where he confesses to imitating gay porn from “dirty magazines” with his male cousin — triggered the memory of the inappropriately placed Playboys.

“The ‘Cousin’ song triggers that memory. Me as a dad, I wanted to change that for my kids,” he added. See the two posts below.
Speaking of new music, Ye also confirmed rapper Dave Blunts’ claim that he wrote the entirety of Ye’s next album, WW3.

Shannon Sharpe’s rape accuser releases alleged audio

The day after Shannon Sharpe released graphic text messages his rape accuser allegedly sent him to exonerate him, she also released allegedly damning audio to try to prove that he threatened, raped and sodomized her.

The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe and represented by famed attorney Tony Buzbee, shared her own text messages and audio that suggest that Sharpe threatened her with violence and then carried out forcible intercourse, including anal.
The audio suggests Sharpe threatened the rape accuser
During one particular phone call in late 2024, Jane Doe recorded a phone call with Sharpe in which she told him that she doesn’t want to be “manipulated.”

A man who sounds like Sharpe allegedly roared, “If you say that word one more time, I’m gonna f—–g choke the s–t out of you when I see you,” according to audio obtained by People and multiple other outlets.
After a pregnant pause, the woman told Sharpe she doesn’t want to be choked.

“Yes, you do,” he says. “I don’t think you have a choice in the …”
Sharpe, of course, categorically denies all of the woman’s accusations that he raped her twice between November 2024 and January 2025.

Both parties contend that the beginning was consensual
Both admit that the balance of their sexual relationship, which began when they met at a gym in 2023, has been consensual. However, the complexion of the relationship changed when Sharpe was caught livestreaming himself having sex with another woman, which she said humiliated her. When she allegedly began to pull back from Sharpe, the accuser said Sharpe began a full-court press to get her back, including sending a blizzard of text messages and phone calls.

Both are trying their cases in the court of public opinion
The plaintiff and Sharpe are currently trying their case in the media. She says she wants recompense for her mental and physical trauma, while Sharpe counters by saying she is guilty of extortion attempts to the tune of $50 million.

As Sharpe’s attorney says, the sexually explicit text messages sent by the woman illustrate irrefutably a “broader pattern of graphic, sexual communications initiated by” the accuser.
“The evidence paints a clear picture: this was a consensual, adult relationship that included role-playing, sexual language, and fantasy scenarios,” Sharpe’s attorney Lanny Davis asserts in a statement obtained by the publication.

As a counter, the plaintiff’s attorney Buzbee, who has attained national renown for sexual lawsuits against Diddy and Jay-Z, said the final two encounters were far from consensual.
“The contents of this clip are certainly not sexual,” Buzbee said in the statement. “They are not playful. They are instead disturbing, aggressive, and dangerous.”

Buzbee continues, saying, “Instead of owning up to his actions, Sharpe has chosen to mislead his lawyers and the public, and double down — this time by doxing Jane Doe, and attempting to humiliate into silence this woman who is 30 years his junior,” the statement continued.
Sharpe’s lawyer attempted to soften the public relations blow by explaining the vow to choke the accuser was instantaneous and “in the heat of the moment,” which he did not intend to follow through on.

Victims can contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline, Free, Confidential, 24/7 Support, at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) or go to rainn.org.

Cynthia Erivo to narrate new audiobook of original ‘Wicked’ novel
Cynthia Erivo will be seeing green all over again for her next big gig.
The Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner has been tapped to narrate a new audiobook version of Gregory McGuire‘s best-selling novel “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West.”

First published in 1995, the origin story of Elphaba Thropp serves as the basis for the hit musical “Wicked,” which has been adapted into an Oscar-nominated, box office-shattering film starring Erivo in the leading role.
A previously released recording of the audiobook was narrated by John McDonough in 2005. Due to the renewed interest in the title, it’s an appropriate time for a revival.

“I’m incredibly excited to narrate ‘Wicked,’ especially after having had the privilege of portraying Elphaba on screen,” Erivo said in a statement. “I feel deeply connected to Elphaba. We have been on quite the journey together, and now I’m eager to begin an adventure with her whilst exploring the full world of ‘Wicked’ and its myriad of other characters in the audiobook. I’m looking forward to bringing this incredible story to life in a new way for listeners, and I hope it resonates as deeply with them as I know it will with me.”

The audiobook, now available for preorder through most online retailers, is set to be released July 1, 2025, via Recorded Books.
Taking place long before the events of“The Wizard of Oz,” the adult-themed novel is presented as a biography of the Wicked Witch of the West and is the first book in “The Wicked Years” series. Other books, “Son of a Witch,” “A Lion Among Men” and “Out of Oz,” followed.
Erivo garnered her second Oscar nomination for Best Actress with her performance in Jon M. Chu’s critically acclaimed film adaptation also starring Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh.

Part one of the two-part series became the highest grossing movie based on a Broadway musical ever at the US box office. “Wicked” was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and named Best Film by the National Board of Review.
The follow-up, “Wicked: For Good,” hits theaters this November.

Stephen A. Smith says he is ‘rooting for’ Shannon Sharpe after rape allegations, ‘I’m wishing that he’s innocent’

Stephen A. Smith has spoken out on the rape allegations against Shannon Sharpe, saying he is “rooting for" his ESPN colleague. On his self-titled podcast released Tuesday, April 22, he discussed the “sad situation” for about 20 minutes.
“Shannon Sharpe is somebody I work with a couple of days a week. Shannon Sharpe is somebody I brought to ESPN … We’ve grown close as friends … I certainly root for him,” Smith said.

Sharpe has denied the allegations after facing a $50 million lawsuit. The rape accuser, referred to as a Jane Joe in legal docs, recently released an alleged audio when Sharpe can be heard threatening to “choke” her.
‘I know that I’m wishing that he’s innocent’
Smith, who has worked with Sharpe on First Take since September 2023, explained that he couldn’t “speak to his innocence or guilt from a knowledgeable place.” “Even though I got love and respect for Shannon Sharpe, and I’m sincerely hopeful and prayerful that he is completely innocent of the allegations that have been levied against him,” he added.

Smith confessed that he was “a bit torn” on Sharpe’s response, and gave credence to Sharpe’s argument that the plaintiff’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, “targets black men.” He later went on to question how the situation was handled by Sharpe since news of the lawsuit broke.

“On one hand, going on the offensive to defend himself, I completely understand where Shannon Sharpe is coming from,” Smith said. “On the other hand, when his legal team issued out the press release on X yesterday and they spoke about (her), they mentioned her name, and they revealed some of those explicit text messages. That was uncomfortable. And I don’t know if that’s a strategy that will work.”
Smith said that he spoke to Sharpe after the allegations surfaced, who “emphatically” denied claims. “In my perfect world, [Sharpe] moves on and somehow, some way, we find this all to be false,” Smith said. “But it doesn’t seem like that’s the way things are about to go down, considering how Mr. Buzbee is and how emphatic his client is proclaiming that she is right and she is telling the truth. I don’t know where this is going to go. I can’t speak to anything else.”

“I don’t know what’s happened. I know I got love for the brother,” Smith continued. “I know that I’m wishing that he’s innocent and all of this stuff goes away and he can continue to thrive with me on ESPN and thrive in his own platforms that he worked so diligently over the years to build. But anything else would be entirely irresponsible for me to speak on and I can’t do that. Yes I own this, this is my platform. But I also have a day job and I also understand what lawyers, what HR, and all those other things entail.:

“I have no idea what direction ESPN will go in when it comes to this matter,” he added. “All I do know is it won’t be me making the decision. It will be others upstairs. In the end, all of us have someone to answer to. No matter how maverick we try to be.”

Damon Dash risks losing ‘State Property’ in lawsuit
Damon Dash, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records and influential figure in hip-hop culture, stands at the precipice of losing his most treasured creative assets, including the cult classic film State Property, as a California court considers a motion to seize and auction his intellectual properties. This escalating legal situation stems from an ongoing dispute with filmmaker Josh Webber that has now reached a critical juncture after years of contention.

The foundation of conflict
The dispute originated with the 2019 film Dear Frank, a project from which Dash was eventually removed. According to court documents, after his dismissal from the production, Dash allegedly continued to represent himself as involved with the film and attempted to distribute it without authorization. This prompted Webber and his production company, Muddy Water Pictures, to file a lawsuit claiming that Dash had attempted to commandeer the project illegally.
The legal process revealed a pattern of non-compliance from Dash, who repeatedly missed court deadlines, failed to participate in mediation efforts, and neglected to submit required legal documentation. This behavior ultimately contributed to a 2022 court ruling that favored Webber, resulting in an $805,000 judgment against Dash for copyright infringement and defamation.

Public comments worsen legal standing

The situation deteriorated substantially in early 2025 when Dash appeared on the popular financial podcast Earn Your Leisure. During this appearance, Dash made disparaging remarks about Webber, calling him a derogatory name and accusing him of theft. These public statements had significant professional consequences for Webber, who claims they directly caused the collapse of a $4 million directing opportunity connected to a project involving actor Billy Bob Thornton.
Following these comments, a separate court judgment awarded Webber an additional $4 million in damages specifically related to defamation, dramatically increasing Dash’s legal and financial obligations.

Creative legacy in jeopardy
At the center of this legal battle is State Property, Dash’s most recognized cinematic achievement. Released in 2002, this urban crime drama featured rapper Beanie Sigel in the lead role, with appearances from Jay-Z and other Roc-A-Fella affiliated artists. The film has maintained cultural significance for its authentic portrayal of street life and entrepreneurial ambition, becoming a defining work in early 2000s hip-hop cinema and spawning a sequel.

Beyond State Property, the court may also authorize the sale of Dash’s rights to other films including Honor Up and Mr. Untouchable. The potential loss extends to personal items of significant value, including Roc-A-Fella chains, an engagement ring, and various gold and diamond jewelry pieces.

Business empire under scrutiny
The implications of this legal conflict extend well beyond individual assets. Webber’s legal team is pushing for the court to grant access to Dash’s broader business infrastructure, which encompasses multiple companies including Poppington LLC, Dash Films Inc., Blackroc LLC, The Dash Group LLC, Lebanon Improvements LLC, Ocean East Improvements LLC, and 1996 Songs LLC.

Court records indicate that since 2019, Dash and his business entities have consistently failed to comply with discovery requests. Despite facing monetary penalties for this non-compliance, Dash has not provided the financial records and documentation required by the court, further complicating the legal proceedings.

Enforcement measures escalate
Webber’s legal representatives have intensified their calls for stricter enforcement, requesting that the court compel Dash to surrender operating agreements and ownership records for his various business ventures. This documentation would enable the U.S. Marshal to proceed with liquidating assets to satisfy the outstanding judgments, potentially resulting in a fundamental restructuring of Dash’s financial and creative portfolio.
This push for enforcement represents a significant escalation in the legal strategy against Dash, moving beyond monetary judgments to concrete actions that would permanently affect his ownership of intellectual property and physical assets.

Cultural impact of potential loss
The potential forced sale of State Property carries particular significance within hip-hop culture, where the film has long been celebrated for its raw aesthetic and authentic representation. The movie helped establish Dash as an important cultural curator beyond his music industry accomplishments, demonstrating his vision for Black cinema during a formative period.

If the court approves Webber’s requests, the resulting asset liquidation could permanently alter Dash’s standing and influence within both the hip-hop community and independent film circles. The situation serves as a stark reminder of how legal disputes can impact creative legacies and entrepreneurial ventures, particularly in industries where intellectual property forms the foundation of professional identity.

As this legal saga continues to unfold, its resolution will likely carry significant implications not only for Dash personally but also for the preservation and control of his contributions to hip-hop culture and cinema. The outcome may ultimately serve as a cautionary narrative about the intersections of creative expression, business management, and legal responsibility in the entertainment industry.

Rapper ASAP Rocky is also set to appear in Lee’s new film. Lee also opened up about his involvement. “ASAP, man, he fire,” Lee said. “I mean, there’s some scenes where him and [Denzel are] head to head, he ain’t backing up. Like, ‘I’m here too.’ So I’m very, very happy with the way the film turned out and looking forward to sharing it with the world.”

Simone Biles Says Her Body 'Collapsed' After Paris Olympics
Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in Olympic history, recently opened up about the immense physical toll her body took during the Paris 2024 Games, leaving her uncertain about competing in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
In an interview with French newspaper L'Equipe, Biles, 28, disclosed a harrowing aspect of her Paris experience. Despite clinching three gold medals and one silver, pushing her Olympic and World Championships medal tally to an unprecedented 41, the American gymnast suffered significantly.

"I felt it last summer in Paris. At the end of the competition, I went back to the village, I took the elevator and my body literally collapsed. I got sick for 10 days," she candidly revealed.
Biles spoke about her plans for the LA 2028 Games, stating that while she will certainly attend, she remains on the fence about competing. "2028 seems so far away, and my body ages," she explained.

Reflecting on her remarkable achievements, Biles admitted, "I have accomplished so much in my sport. For me to come back, I would really need to be thrilled by it."
"You're going to tell me that the perspective of the Games in Los Angeles is fascinating. And I will be there, whether on the apparatus or in the stands, I still haven't decided. So, to be honest, I don't know. We'll see," she mentioned.

Beyond the physical challenges, Biles also touched upon the psychological burden that comes with her widespread fame. "Before, I was completely anonymous in a crowd, and that was a real blessing. Now, wherever I am, people recognize me, stop me, ask for my autograph, a photo. It's weird to be known by everyone when you, yourself, don't seek it out," she noted.

After the taxing Paris Games, Biles retreated to her home in Chicago, where she isolated herself and took time to recover, supported by her husband Jonathan Owens. As she contemplates her future in gymnastics, her story serves as a powerful reminder of the intense demands - even beyond the arena - that elite athletes endure.
While the world watches and wonders, it's clear that Simone Biles' legacy in gymnastics is already secure, whether she decides to compete in Los Angeles or pass the torch to the next generation of gymnasts.

Lil Uzi Vert Rushed To Hospital With Girlfriend JT By His Side Amid Medical Emergency
Rapper Lil Uzi Vert, real name Symere Bysil Woods, was rushed to a New York City hospital on Monday, April 21 after paramedics responded to an EMS call from a hotel in Lower Manhattan.
According to eyewitness and video footage obtained by TMZ, Uzi was wheeled through the hotel lobby on a gurney around 2:30 PM local time before being loaded into an ambulance. Throughout the incident, security guards used black umbrellas to shield him from onlookers and maintain his privacy.

The rapper's girlfriend, JT of the City Girls was seen close by his side. However, it's not confirmed who made the initial 911 call. Uzi was conscious as he was transported, and as of Tuesday morning, he remained hospitalized.
Despite the influx of media attention, neither Lil Uzi Vert nor his representatives have disclosed the nature or cause of his medical emergency.

Fans are deeply concerned as they continue waiting for updates. In the wake of the unsettling news, many flocked to Uzi's recent Instagram post - a carousel of him recording music in a studio last week - to leave messages of support and well-wishes.
The post, quickly flooded with "Pray For Uzi" comments, highlights the rapper's close connection with his fanbase.

Mariah Carey's Kids Embarrassed By Her Easter Family Photos
Mariah Carey is no stranger to the spotlight, but her teenage twins, Moroccan and Monroe, might not feel quite the same way. The singer's recent Instagram post showcasing their festive Easter celebration left her children feeling a bit embarrassed.
Carey, 56, posted a series of festive family photos featuring her and her 13-year-old twins. While the chart-topping musician was dressed up in a sparkly pink outfit, the kids were more relaxed in white sweatshirt and tee, and denim pants and shorts.
The proud mother gushed in the caption, "The greatest gift of being a mom is getting your teenage kids to participate in your Easter hijinks!" However, her children were less enthusiastic about the public display. Monroe commented, "OMG DELETE IT," while Moroccan asked, "Why do you do this to me, mom?"

Mariah Carey welcomed the twins with her now ex-husband Nick Cannon in 2011, and this isn't the first time Mariah has playfully embarrassed her children. Earlier in April, she made an unexpected appearance on Moroccan's Twitch livestream, much to the amusement of his viewers.
The reaction from fans was immediate, with one repeatedly shouting, "Hi, Mrs. Carey!" Moroccan, seemingly embarrassed, urged his family members to leave, saying, "Y'all need to get out now. Everybody get out."

'60 Minutes' producer leaves show, citing a loss of journalistic independence
The top producer at CBS’ “60 Minutes” announced Tuesday he would step down from the newsmagazine because he had lost his journalistic independence.
“Over the past months, it has … become clear that I would not be allowed to run the show as I have always run it,” Bill Owens said in a memo to staff members, which was obtained by NBC News. “To make independent decisions based on what was right for ‘60 Minutes,’ right for the audience.”

“So, having defended this show — and what we stand for — from every angle, over time with everything I could, I am stepping aside so the show can move forward,” Owens added.
Owens’ departure comes during a tumultuous chapter for “60 Minutes.” President Donald Trump has sued CBS for $10 billion over an October interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris that the president claims was deceptively edited. The network has denied that claim.

Trump amended the lawsuit earlier this year, upping his damages claim to $20 billion.
“Former President Donald Trump’s repeated claims against ‘60 Minutes’ are false,” CBS News said in a statement in October. “The interview was not doctored” and the show “did not hide any part of Vice President Kamala Harris’s answer to the question at issue.”
In a separate statement, “60 Minutes” said it gave an excerpt from its interview with Harris to the Sunday morning program “Face the Nation,” which used a longer section of the former Democratic presidential candidate’s answer to a question.

“Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response. When we edit any interview, whether a politician, an athlete, or movie star, we strive to be clear, accurate and on point,” the statement said. “The portion of her answer on 60 Minutes was more succinct, which allows time for other subjects in a wide ranging 21-minute-long segment.”

Trump has repeatedly lambasted the venerable newsmagazine over its reporting on him and his administration.
In a post on Truth Social on April 13, for example, Trump wrote: “Almost every week, 60 Minutes ... mentions the name ‘TRUMP’ in a derogatory and defamatory way, but this Weekend’s ‘BROADCAST’ tops them all.” He appeared to take issue with segments about the war in Ukraine and his interest in acquiring Greenland.

Trump added that he believed CBS should lose its broadcast license and “pay a big price.” He said he hoped Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr would “impose the maximum fines and punishment.”
Owens’ exit, first reported by The New York Times, also comes at a pivotal moment for CBS’ parent company, Paramount. Shari Redstone, Paramount’s controlling shareholder, reportedly needs the Trump administration to approve her media conglomerate’s sale to Skydance Media, a production and finance company run by David Ellison, the son of tech mogul Larry Ellison.

The New York Times reported in late January that Paramount was in settlement talks with Trump. The Times later reported that Owens told staff members he would not apologize for the Harris interview as part of any prospective settlement. NBC News has not independently verified either report.
In his memo to staff, Owens said “60 Minutes” would “continue to cover the new administration, as we will report on future administrations. We will report from war zones, investigate injustices and educate our audience. In short, ‘60 Minutes’ will do what it has done for 57 years.”

“Thank you all, remain focused on the moment, our audience deserves it,” Owens said in closing.
Wendy McMahon, president and CEO of CBS News, notified company employees by email that Owens would be leaving and touted his work at the company.
“Tom and I are committed to 60 Minutes and to ensuring that the mission and the work remain our priority,” McMahon said, referring to CBS News president and executive editor Tom Cibrowski.
