#RHOA: NeNe Leakes And Nyonisela Sioh Are Glowing And Still Going Strong After Reuniting!
If you thought NeNe Leakes, 56, and her beau Nyonislea Sioh broke up, it looks like they’re back together. The couple are still going strong as the Real Housewives of Atlanta alumnus was pictured with her on-again, off-again entrepreneur bae in a recent image posted by The Neighborhood Talk of the two getting ready for an event. The pair looked stunning with Leakes dressed in a fitted black off-the-shoulder gown and Sioh complementing her look in a black fitted suit.

In February, Sioh showed the iconic TV personality some love on Instagram, and it wasn’t for Valentine’s Day. It was just because.
“Thank you for being my partner in crime, my confidante, and my greatest support. Your love and understanding mean the world to me. I appreciate you more than words can express,” he wrote in a caption under a series of pictures of the two of them.
Ms. Leakes doesn’t post the menswear designer on her social media as much as she used to and this started after she announced they were taking a break last summer.

“Today, we are taking a break. We’ve been taking a break,” Leakes stated on an episode of the Reality with the King podcast with Carlos King. “It’s … things I’m not happy with, things he’s not happy with. It’s just not working at the moment,” she said, before joking about where the two stood. “He is single so if any of the ladies out there want to holla at him, go right ahead.”

The two began dating in 2021 shortly after her late husband, Gregg Leakes, died from colon cancer at age 66. The new relationship had a few bumps, with a major one being Sioh’s then estranged wife, Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh, suing the former RHOA star for emotional distress, humiliation, and loss of affection from the menswear designer. Leakes denied those claims that she interfered in that marriage.
“I’m already out here a husband stealer, and this is too much,” she said at the time. “And ain’t nobody out here stealing husbands. Are they? I would never. Nobody wants to steal nobody else’s problems, honey.”
During her interview with King, Leakes also said she wouldn’t be as public with her relationships again, which is probably why she’s not sharing much about her current status with Sioh.

“My next relationship will be absolutely private. This was the most public I think I’ve ever been in any relationship — it’s more public than Gregg. And I just feel like it’s just best to be private,” she said.

#MusicNews: Halle Bailey Announces Next Solo Effort, "In Your Hands"!

Halle Bailey revealed the release date for her upcoming song, “In Your Hands.” The record will mark her second standalone solo effort and is expected to come out on March 15.
In a snippet shared across her social media accounts, the artist sang, “Whenever you’re down and suffering / I promise that I’ll be your only friend / ‘Cause I know that the demons come knockin’ / But we will never, ever let ’em in / Don’t let the world ruin it / ‘Cause you got one chance.”

Halle originally teased the track while sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her maternity shoot in January. The record picked up major traction on TikTok, with over 170,000 video creations on the platform. Subsequently, she shared a compilation of clips using the sound bite in February. The caption read, “These are my [favorite videos] I’ve seen so far of y’all using the sound… Stay tuned.”
“In Your Hands” will serve as a follow-up to 2023’s “Angel,” which was nominated for Best R&B Song at the 66th annual Grammy Awards. Additionally, the accompanying visuals amassed over 19 million views on YouTube to date.

In a press statement, Halle spoke about the importance of the record: “This song for me is so very special, and near and dear to my heart. With everything I’ve gone through the past [three to four] years, suddenly finding myself in this bubble of all these eyes and new opinions. It was easy for me to feel doubt in myself and who I was.”
The upcoming release is also the actress’ first since giving birth to her son, Halo, who she shares with rapper DDG. The pair announced that they secretly welcomed a child in 2023 amid speculation from fans.

Halle’s sister, Chlöe Bailey, debuted her first solo single of 2024 earlier this month. Titled “FYS,” the track will appear on the In Pieces artist’s sophomore album.

#HipHopNews: Saweetie Says She's Considering Changing Her Debut Album Name From 'Pretty!
It’s been roughly four years since Saweetie announced her debut album, which was at the time named Pretty B**ch Music. The project has gone through several delays, with the rapper previously citing creative changes
REVOLT published an interview with the “Tap In” hitmaker, where she seemingly hinted at wanting to modify the LP’s title. “I feel like ‘Pretty B**ch Music’ has become more of a movement like the ICY GRL brand,” Saweetie explained. “It’s still in the running, but [with] the music I’ve produced and written, a new title would fit the body of work.”

Saweetie also provided insights into who she’s currently working with on the production side. She stated, “I just locked in with a team; he goes by the name of John Baptiste, who’s a Cancer, so he’s a perfectionist like me, and we’re very ‘stick to the script and get things done.’ J. White produced “Richtivities,” so [I’m] excited to show the world the work I’ve done with him.”

Speculation of the project possibly bearing a different name originally came from Saweetie’s Allure cover story, where the publication wrote that it was “previously titled Pretty Bitch Music.” The West Coast staple also gave reasoning for the numerous delays.
“I just feel like nobody was caring about my music,” she said. “To me, music is sacred. It’s coming from your spirit. You can’t just go finish an album in a week. That’s why it’s taking me so long. That’s why I haven’t dropped an album yet.”

Aside from January’s “Immortal Freestyle“ and February’s “Richtivities,” Saweetie graced fans with a few singles throughout 2023. “SHOT O’ CLOCK” and “BIRTHDAY” served as her only releases as a lead artist that year. However, she teamed up with Nissy for “Feels,” YG and Tyga for “Brand New,” and Baby Tate for “Hey, Micky!”

Denzel Washington Announces Return To Broadway, Starring In ‘Othello’!

It was announced on Wednesday (Mar. 6) that Denzel Washington would be returning to Broadway. The legendary actor will star in a revival of Othello alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.
Helmed by Tony winner Kenny Leon, the production opens in Spring 2025 at a Shubert Theatre. The exact location has yet to be announced.

Washington, 69, will portray Othello—a general who loses his sanity over jealously—while Gyllenhaal will play Iago, the story’s villain who convinces Othello to question his wife Desdemona’s infidelity. The role of Desdemona has not yet been cast.
Washington, himself, is a Tony Award winner. He starred in the 2010 production of Fences, which was later adapted into a film. He starred in the 2018 revival of The Iceman Cometh and also earned a Tony nomination for his role as Theodore Hickman. Previously, he appeared in the 2014 revival of A Raisin in the Sun, the 2005 production of Julius Caesar and made his Broadway debut in 1988 with Checkmates.

Gyllenhaal starred in the 2019 production of Sea Wall/A Life, the 2017 production of Sunday in the Park With George, and the 2015 production Constellations in 2015. He earned Tony nominations as producer and actor for Sea Wall/A Life, and a nod as one of the producers of Jeremy O. Harris’ Slave Play.

2025’s Othello marks a reunion between Leon and Washington, who previously worked together on Fences (2010) and A Raisin in the Sun (2014). The latter won Leon his Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play.

D.L. Hughley Says He’ll Never Forgive Mo’Nique For Reigniting Rift With His Daughter
D.L. Hughley made a recent appearance on The Jason Lee Show where he opened up about the state of his family following Mo’Nique’s viral interview with Shannon Sharpe. According to the comedian, Mo’Nique’s viral Club Shay Shay spill reignited a rift between him and his eldest daughter.

The rift Hughley speaks of stems from The Parkers star speaking on Hughley’s daughter’s sexual assault in 2022 and claiming that Hughley didn’t protect his daughter at the time.
“Here’s what I will say, whatever was said wasn’t for me,” he began to Lee. “Whatever was said opened up a wound in my daughter that we’re arguing about right now. I’ve never had money all my life, but the love of my children I’ll always have. And when something jeopardizes that, I could never forgive you for it.”

He went on, “I love my children, and to feel like I couldn’t protect them and then that plays out over and over — it’s something I won’t forgive you for. My daughter is so angry with me she hasn’t spoke to me in weeks.”
In 2022, Mo’Nique clapped back at Hughley about the sensitive topic following a dispute over a Detroit comedy show that they both were a part of. After a back and forth, Mo said that the 61-year-old could call out everyone except “the name of the person that violated his daughter.”

In a long Instagram rant, Mo’Nique said at the time, “I find it funny that DL will call out ICE CUBE, KANYE, RIZZA ISLAM, ANGELA STANTON, MYSELF ETC., but he won’t call out the name of the person that violated his daughter.”

Hughley’s oldest daughter, Ryan Nicole Shepard, responded to the comedienne’s insensitive post with a lengthy comment that pretty much summed the comedian up to be “deliberately mean and hurtful” amongst the choice words of “poisonous” and “disgusting” for her behavior.
Mo’Nique replied to Shepard on Instagram welcoming her to have a conversation about their differences, and ultimately retracted her statements during a comedy show.

“Hey young sister THANK YOU FOR THE INVITATION FOR A DISCUSSION. WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE YOU UP ON IT. BECAUSE IT COULD BE VERY HEALING FOR OUR COMMUNITY. HAVE @realdlhughley SET UP A TIME FOR YOU, & YOUR FAMILY & MY HUSBAND & I TO COME ON HIS SHOW & WE WILL GO FROM THERE,” she wrote on IG at the time.
The actress then delivered an apology to the comedian’s family during her stand-up comedy show in Raleigh, N.C. in June 2022.

“I am a woman of honor,” she said to the crowd. “So, I have to do something right now publicly that I started publicly and when I f**k it up, I’ve got to fix it up. So, I’m going to take care of that right now. To D.L Hughley’s family, I want to publically apologize if I’ve hurt anyone’s feelings. I never meant to hurt their family. I want to publicly apologize to his wife and his babies if I hurt their feelings. That was never my goddamn intentions. Now, about D.L., I meant everything I said!”

'Euphoria' Star Nika King Struggles To Pay Rent Due To Season 3 Filming Delay

Euphoria" actress Nika King has claimed she's been unable to pay her rent for six months because of ongoing delays to the show. The 44-year-old actress, who plays Leslie Bennett, the mother of Zendaya Coleman's Rye Bennett in the HBO series, admitted she has no idea when season three of the drama will be released but she's urged her on-screen daughter to "come home" so they can start work as she needs the money.
Nika shared a clip on Instagram from a recent stand-up comedy set, in which she said, "Season 3 is coming out… I don't know. Don't ask me. I don't know. It's one of those things. People are like, 'We need Season 3.' I'm like, 'I need Season 3, too!' I haven't paid my rent in six months, and Zendaya's over in Paris at Fashion Week. I'm like, 'Come home! I need you. Mama need you.'"

But while the audience laughed, Nika insisted she was "serious" about what she said because she hadn't booked any jobs since landing her role in "Euphoria". She added, "I haven't booked nothing since 'Euphoria.' This is some bull. I thought my career was on the rise after 'Euphoria'. I thought I was good. It don't work that way."
Season two of "Euphoria" ended in February 2022 and production was then delayed on the third season due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. And in July last year, cast member Angus Cloud died from an accidental overdose aged 25.

"Euphoria" actress Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard, recently spoke of filming the "most disgusting" scene she's ever had on the show, explaining a special pipe was created for her to convincingly projectile vomit on screen. Speaking on YouTube series "The Hot Ones", she said, "They had to create because Sam [Levinson, director] wanted it to be projectile vomit everywhere whereas a lot of films will just have a cup of mushed up anything that they have from the craft team and it's just mixed with milk and water."

"It's the most disgusting thing, you just put it in your mouth and hold it then you puke it up. But Sam didn't want that, he wanted vomit everywhere. They had to get a pump and they had this pipe that they just taped and hid on my body and then they CGI'd it out. It went up my neck and there was a horse bit that I put in my mouth. So, during that scene they're filling my mouth with throw up and I opened my mouth and it just started shooting out. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced," she added.

Melania Trump's Absence From Donald's Super Tuesday Victory Party Fuels Marital Woes Speculation
While Donald Trump could have used her support now more than ever, Melania Trump was a no-show at his Super Tuesday party. The former first lady skipped the bash to celebrate his victorious presidential primary election at Mar-a-Lago, their home in Palm Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 5.

Melania's absence has since sparked concerns among social media users, who thought that this could indicate problem in the couple's marriage. One person weighed in on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday, "#Melania doesn't appear with #Trump on the night he wins Super Tuesday? How odd is that? What's up with that marriage?"
"How come Trump was so sad last night? He should have been happy last night doing so well on Super Tuesday," another speculated. "Was it because Melania wasn't there to support him. I think something is going on with them."

"It was Super Tuesday night. It was his victory speech. It was at Mar-a Lago. His wife Melania was not there," a third person claimed. "He's trying to get more Women to support him but it doesn't look good when the most important Woman in his life doesn't appear to support him."

During his speech at the Super Tuesday party, Donald did not address his wife's absence. "This was an amazing night, an amazing day, it's been an incredible period of time in our country's history," he said in his victory speech, after securing the Republican nomination for U.S. presidency.
His sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump were in attendance at the Super Tuesday watch party, while Donald's eldest daughter Ivanka Trump wasn't present. Ivanka's absence, however, was probably not a surprise since it has been widely known that she would no longer be playing a big role in her father's political pursuits.

This isn't the first time the Trump couple has been hit with marital woe rumors. Back in December 2023, there was concern about their marriage after she skipped the family's Christmas celebration at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
However, a source later clarified that the former model chose to skip the party to be with her then-ailing mom Amalija Knavs. "Melania has always been very devoted to her entire family," the source told Fox News Digital. The source further argued, "It should be no surprise that she spent this Christmas with her ailing mother."

CBS Making Soap Opera About Wealthy Black Family, Would Be First New Soap in 25 Years

Daytime TV may be getting its first new soap opera in decades. CBS is partnering with the NAACP to develop an all-new daytime soap that centers a wealthy Black family. The potential soap will be called The Gates.
The Gates will follow a wealthy Black family living in a posh, gated community, per Variety. If ordered, the series will air on CBS as a partnership between CBS Studios NAACP production and P&G Studios, a division of Procter & Gamble.

Soap veteran Michele Val Jean, who has worked on hit series such as General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Santa Barbara, will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Val Jean was a writer on the first soap opera focusing on Black families, Generations. The soap aired from 1989 to 1991 on NBC. Sheila Ducksworth, Leon Russell, Derrick Johnson, and Kimberly Doebereiner will also serve as executive producers.

CBS hasn’t launched a new soap opera since The Bold and the Beautiful in 1987. Generations debuted in 1989 and was the last time a Black daytime soap was created. The last time a new soap was made at any network was in 1999 with NBC’s Passions, which is now defunct. There have been soap spinoffs in recent years, but The Gates would be the first new series.
“The Gates will be everything we love about daytime drama, from a new and fresh perspective,” said Sheila Ducksworth, president of the CBS Studios NAACP venture. “This series will salute an audience that has been traditionally underserved, with the potential to be a groundbreaking moment for broadcast television. With multi-dimensional characters, juicy storylines and Black culture front and center, The Gates will have impactful representation, one of the key touchstones of the venture.”

“I’m excited to develop this project with CBS and P&G, two of the longest and most passionate champions of broadcast and daytime television, and the NAACP, whose enduring commitment to Black voices and artists is both powerful and inspiring,” the statement continues. “I also want to thank CBS’ George Cheeks, NAACP’s Derrick Johnson and P&G’s Marc Pritchard for their personal involvement and support to take our next step forward with The Gates.”

The Gates would join The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful on CBS.

‘Rust’ Movie Armorer Found Guilty Of Involuntary Manslaughter, Acquitted Of Evidence Tampering
Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the “Rust” film armorer, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter Wednesday in a New Mexico trial stemming from the 2021 on-set fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was killed by a live round of ammunition fired from a prop gun that was held by actor Alec Baldwin.

Gutierrez Reed, who was responsible for firearm safety and storage on the movie’s set, was acquitted of a separate charge of evidence tampering, which was brought after prosecutors alleged she transferred a “small bag of cocaine” to someone else after a police interview on the day of the shooting on October 21, 2021.

Jurors deliberated for nearly three hours Wednesday before reaching a decision. The 26-year-old, who did not take the stand in her defense during the trial in Santa Fe, did not show any emotion while the verdict was read. She was then taken into custody.

The involuntary manslaughter charge carries up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. The judge did not set a sentencing date.
Gutierrez Reed is the first person to stand trial in a case that highlighted the movie industry’s safety standards – and this specific set’s violations of them.

Attorneys representing Hutchins’ parents and sister were satisfied with the jury’s verdict, the attorneys said in a release.
“We look forward to the justice system continuing to make sure that everyone else who is responsible for Halyna’s death is required to face the legal consequences for their actions,” the release reads.

Prosecutors argued Gutierrez Reed repeatedly violated safety protocol on set and acted negligently and without caution in performing her duties as armorer, and that her actions ultimately led to Hutchins’ death.
“This is not a case where Hannah Gutierrez made one mistake and that one mistake was accidentally putting a live round into that gun. That’s not what this case is about,” special prosecutor Kari Morrissey said during closing arguments Wednesday.
“This case is about constant, never-ending safety failures that resulted in the death of a human being and nearly killed another,” she added. The film’s director also was injured in the shooting.

Gutierrez Reed’s defense attorney Jason Bowles, who has called the shooting a tragic accident, said in closing arguments the armorer could not have known Baldwin would point the weapon toward the cinematographer. And film set management was to blame for safety failures, he said.

Bowles’ team plans to appeal the verdict, the attorney told CNN in an email. CNN has also sought comment on the verdict from prosecutors.
Baldwin had been practicing for a scene and was drawing and pointing a revolver with guidance from Hutchins and Joel Souza, the film’s director, according to a probable cause statement filed in January 2023. Souza also was shot but survived.

The prosecution argued Gutierrez Reed’s failures allowed six live rounds to make their way onto the set, and that she did not conduct vital safety checks of the gun and ammunition that would have caught the live rounds.
“She had six, six live rounds on that movie set, the earliest date that I can track them for you is October 10, (2021),” Morrissey said during Wednesday’s closing arguments. “Six, and she failed to ferret them out for 12 days. What that means is that she wasn’t shaking any dummy rounds, she wasn’t testing anything.”

“If she’s not checking the dummy ammunition during the pendency of the filming to make sure that those rounds that are designed to look like live rounds are in fact dummy rounds, this was a game of Russian roulette every time an actor had a gun with dummies.”
Bowles, Gutierrez Reed’s attorney, instead argued in the trial that the blame lies elsewhere and said his client was being used as a scapegoat.
He questioned how the live ammunition made it on set and alleged the “Rust” production team created a chaotic and unsafe environment that put Gutierrez Reed under “really tough conditions to keep up with.” And Baldwin did not follow common-sense gun safety rules on set when he handled the firearm and acted unpredictably when he pointed the weapon at Hutchins, Bowles said in his closing statements.

“(Gutierrez Reed) could not anticipate what Baldwin would do. It was not in the script, it was not foreseeable,” he said. “Management was responsible for safety failures and not Hannah.”
Bowles also pushed back against the evidence tampering charge, saying a witness had assumed there was cocaine in a small bag Gutierrez Reed handed her on the day of the shooting, but that she quickly threw the bag away and the substance was never tested or confirmed to be the drug.

Baldwin, who has also been charged with involuntary manslaughter, is expected to stand trial in July. He has pleaded not guilty and has maintained he did not pull the trigger.
A government report published roughly six months after the shooting said the movie set “willfully violated” safety rules and “demonstrated plain indifference to employee safety.” Rust Movie Productions, LLC was fined for its actions, CNN has reported.
‘Rust’ film armorer’s manslaughter trial opens with both sides debating whose negligence matters most

Jurors heard from more than 30 witnesses during the trial – including movie crew members, law enforcement officials and forensics experts – and watched videos of body camera footage from the day of the shooting.
In one of those clips, Gutierrez Reed told a Santa Fe County sheriff’s corporal there was never live ammunition kept on set and that she had checked the prop guns and the “dummy” rounds the morning before the shooting. Gutierrez Reed told the same officer she checks dummy rounds on set “most of the time.”

“Dummy” rounds refer to ammunition that contains no explosive elements but resemble actual bullets.
Assistant film director David Halls admitted during the trial he was “negligent” in checking the gun and did not properly look through all the rounds in the gun’s chamber when Gutierrez Reed presented it to him.
“She opened up the latch to the revolver, I recall seeing three to four, what I believed to be dummy rounds,” Halls testified. He later added: “I don’t recall her fully rotating the cylinder.”

Halls yelled “cold gun” before the weapon was handed to Baldwin, a remark meant to indicate the firearm did not have live rounds, according to a court document. Halls took a plea deal in 2023 for his role in the shooting, pleading no contest to one count of negligent use of a deadly weapon.

“I was negligent in checking the gun properly,” Halls told the court.
Halls was sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation, a $500 fine, had to participate in a firearms safety class, complete 24 hours of community service and not use drugs or alcohol.

In her closing arguments, Morrissey said there was no evidence someone else was to blame for the shooting, adding Gutierrez Reed was “the autonomous decisionmaker with regard to gun safety” on set.
“Alec Baldwin’s conduct and his lack of gun safety … on that day is something that he’s going to have to answer for. Not with you and not today,” the prosecutor told jurors Wednesday. “That will be with another jury, on another day.”

Jamie Foxx announces return to "Beat Shazam" with daughter Corinne

Jamie Foxx took to social media to announce his return to "Beat Shazam." Alongside his daughter, Corinne Foxx, the actor will co-host the game show after stepping away before the sixth season to handle health-related issues. He was replaced by Nick Cannon during that time.

As revealed by Variety, the announcement arrived after Jamie accepted the Producers Award during the African-American Film Critics Association Special Achievement Awards luncheon on Sunday (March 3). "Everybody wants to know what happened, and I’m going to tell you what happened. But I’ve gotta do it in my way," Foxx told the audience. "I’m gonna do it in a funny way. We’re gonna be on the stage. We’re gonna get back to the standup sort of roots.” Foxx teased that the show would be called “What Had Happened Was,” adding that it would consist of “all the things that happened, especially on our side of our community."

As previously reported, Jamie was hospitalized in April 2023 after what Corinne described as "a medical complication." "Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she stated. In July of that year, Jamie shared a heartfelt message to his fans in an Instagram video.
"I know a lot of people are waiting or, you know, wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that," he admitted. "I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, [or doing a] television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through. And to be honest with you, my sister Deidra Dixon [and] my daughter Corinne Marie saved my life."

Cam Newton and girlfriend Jasmin Brown welcome their first child together
Cam Newton and his girlfriend, Jasmin Brown, welcomed their first child together. The comedian shared the news on social media while humorously commenting on her postpartum experience.
"This s**t is annoying. I wanna wear a thong," Brown joked before playfully quoting Sisqó's "Thong Song" in one of her Instagram Story posts. In another, she engaged in a lighthearted conversation with her newborn while suggesting they could be "diaper twins."

The baby marks Newton's eighth child. He has seven children from prior relationships, including five with ex-fiancée Kia Proctor, four of which are his biological children, and two with La Reina Shaw, one of which is biological.
Brown expressed her enthusiasm for motherhood in January. “What excites me the most about motherhood is the fact that I get to go hard for a person that I’ll love with all my life. Everyone that knows me, knows I’m a GIVER,” she stated. "I'm excited to pour all this love I have into my child. I think becoming a mom will honestly complete me. I am truly overjoyed. We already have a special bond from the womb.”

Newton and Brown have reportedly been together since 2021. During a sit-down with Kash Doll for “Funky Friday,” the former NFL player briefly opened up about their relationship. He also emphasized the importance of open communication and having mutual respect with a partner going through postpartum.
"First off, with me and mine, she already know. It ain't no privacy," Newton explained. "We [are] in there together. That's our thing. I know this is TMI, but that's my dawg. We got the saying where we're like, 'We're two retired thots that came together.' We see both of our jerseys in the rafters... Hers got more dust on it than [mine]. Mine recently just went up there."

The pair’s new arrival arrived on the heels of Newton's public apology for an altercation at a youth football tournament. As previously reported, the ESPY Award winner claimed that he let his emotions get the best of him.

Beyoncé Accused of using Haircare Line Copied after New Zealand Skincare Line TWYG
Beyonce is known for her amazing music, her over the top performances, her legendary beauty ….
Beyonce is being called out for “borrowing” from the branding and marketing of a New Zealand skincare line, TWYG

TWYG is a New Zealand-based skincare line. According to its founder, the line was released in June 2023. Beyonce’s line Cecred was released last month on Feb. 20th
The social media influencer compared both brands’ bottles and showed how similar they look.
She also noted that TWYG had been out for at least a year before Beyoncé’s new line launched in last month, saying in disgust, “I don’t understand why celebrities think thank because a brand they think we don’t know has something that they can use, we not gonna find out.”

“It bothers me that a celebrity like Beyoncé couldn’t think of a different design,” she continued.
Another content creator who took issue with the packaging being similar stated that she actually did a story last year on the company that made the original packaging. “You can’t tell me they don’t look identical,” she said in a video post.
In addition to the TikTokers taking exception with the singer-turned-beauty maven’s choice of packaging, people in the industry, including the actual designer of the abstract art-influenced bottle took exception.

Fans have celebrated her long hair but have long believed that the family isn’t the most honest when it comes to Beyoncé’s hair. Now, with this new scandal, perhaps they will question the credibility of their business ethics.

Governor Kathy Hochul Sending 750 National Guardsmen & 250 Extra Officers To Combat NYC Subway Crimes
Governor Kathy Hochul will deploy over 700 New York National Guardsmen to help combat crime on the New York subway system.
Hochul announced the extreme move on Wednesday. In total, she shared that 750 guardsmen will arrive in the city, while another 250 police officers will assist them. The NYPD is assisting in the initiative to help better patrol the subway stations, which have been plagued with violence. While this may seem a bit excessive, Hochul wants to send a message.

“These brazen, heinous attacks on our subway system will not be tolerated,” Hochul shared.
Subway-related crimes have spiked nearly 20% this year compared to 2023. Three New York residents have been killed so far in 2024. In addition to armed forces, New York City Mayor Eric Adams is also working on separate measures to keep anyone traveling on the subway safe. He recently shared his plans to increase bag checks. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be getting all new surveillance cameras to offer added protections to staff as well, as they have also been the subject of violent attacks.

Days ago, a 59-year-old conductor was slashed in the throat during a random attack. In a separate incident in mid-February, another MTA worker was punched and kicked inside a Lower Manhattan subway station. Instances such as these have sparked outrage among MTA employees and officials, who have been unable to guarantee the safety of employees.

It’s not yet known when subway travelers will start seeing the armed guards and how long they will remain in the stations.

Drake Bell Speaks Out On Being Sexually Abused At 15 By Nickelodeon Dialogue Coach

Considering all of the sexualized scenes we've witnessed on Nickelodeon, we can only imagine what trauma the child stars experienced.
Drake and Josh star Drake Bell has come forward to say that a Nickelodeon dialogue coach sexually abused him when he was only 15. The coach, Brian Peck (no relation to Bell's co-star Josh Peck), worked on All That and The Amanda Show, leading many to wonder if Amanda Bynes is also a victim of abuse.
Peck was arrested in 2003 for lewd acts with a minor while coaching the victim at his home. The incident occurred two years before his arrest, according to an LAPD statement. Peck was 43 at the time.

The investigation began after the minor's family informed police that Peck had abused the child over the course of six months. In October 2004, Peck was sentenced to 16 months in prison and was registered as a sex offender. Bell is now revealing himself as the victim in Peck's case, according to the docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.
Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV is set to air on March 17 and March 18. It will center around the toxic work culture of iconic ‘90s and early 2000s shows created by alleged predator Dan Schneider and will feature other child stars, including Zoey 101's Alex Nikolas and All That's Giovonne Samuels.

Meanwhile, Bell himself faced child endangerment charges in 2021 after being accused of grooming and having sexual contact with a minor. The victim alleged the actor began grooming her when she was 12, and the messages turned "blatantly sexual" when she turned 15.
The Drake and Josh alum pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service in 2021. "I accept this plea because my conduct was wrong," Bell said in a statement on Zoom in 2021. "I'm sorry that the victim was harmed in any way, but that was obviously not my intention. I have taken this matter very, very seriously. And again, I just want to apologize to her and anyone else who may have been affected by my actions."

The disturbing cycle continues.
