Porsha Williams‘ whirlwind marriage to her now-estranged husband Simon Guobadia seems to have been a bit too intense for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star to handle.
Weeks after Porsha, 42, suddenly filed for divorce from Simon, 59, following just 15 months of marriage, a source has revealed that their split was a case of “too much, too soon,” as they claimed that Porsha and her friends didn’t appreciate how “controlling” Simon reportedly was with the reality star.
“It was a case of too much, too soon,” an insider close to Porsha told Life & Style magazine in their latest issue. “It wasn’t enough time to really get to know someone, but Porsha was swept off her feet by Simon.”
As RHOA fans will recall, Porsha and Simon announced their engagement in May 2021, just weeks after they began dating — and shortly after he called off his marriage to her former co-star, Falynn Guobadia, and she split from former fiance Dennis McKinley, with whom she shares their 4-year-old daughter Pilar Jena.
“Friends found Simon controlling, and that was a problem for Porsha, who is so independent,” the source alleged. “It’s not her style to be told what to do and when to be home.
Porsha did once say, “I don’t need permission to be fabulous.”
After Porsha confirmed her long-awaited return to RHOA in mid-February, telling her Instagram followers, “Porsha Williams coming back to the Real Housewives of Atlanta? That’s false. But Porsha Guobadia is in the building,” Simon was accused of fraud and sham marriages as reports claimed he’s been denied U.S. citizenship.
Days later, news of a $814,000 lawsuit against his company over a past-due bill for the use of a private jet was shared. And, shortly thereafter, Porsha, who did sign a prenup, filed documents against her estranged spouse, demanding that he refrain from destroying any financial documents or selling off any of their property.
Amid the drama, an NBCUniversal representative confirmed producers hadn’t yet started filming season 16. That said, they reportedly had no idea that Porsha’s marriage was ending when she signed back onto the show, nor was it a deal-breaker.
“Porsha is a star on her own without Simon. He was not important to Bravo,” an insider told Radar Online, adding that “fans love” Porsha regardless of whether she’s married or not.
No word yet on when filming will begin on The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16.

Grammy winning artists Samara Joy and PJ Morton have teamed up for “Why I’m Here,” the lead single from the soundtrack from Netflix's “Shirley.”
Joy, a 23-year-old jazz phenomenom, strays away from her jazz roots in the new single. Co-written and produced with PJ Morton, “Why I’m Here” sees Joy cover an emotionally stirring, political-leaning track.
Since 2019, the launch of her career, Joy has moved fans to tears with her distinct contralto register. Her Grammy award-winning album, Linger Awhile, solidifies her case to join the likes of Sarah, Ella, and Billie as the next jazz singing sensation.

In an interview with NPR, Joy shared that studying voice in college helped her better understand her own voice and her own approach to songs. "I learned not only about the foundational things, but about phrasing and having control over my voice and not just looking at a song as just something to sing, but, like, actually delving into the story and the lyrics and utilizing whatever tools I have technique wise to, to bring the song to life."
Joy shared about the new leading track with Variety. “For me, this song was a representation of how Shirley Chisholm’s commitment to pursuing her purpose has affected us all, whether we realize it or not,” she shared. “Regina King’s portrayal of Chisholm only cements the importance of being persistent in the face of adversity and remembering why we all are here: to help one another.”
Morton added, “It’s an honor to put music to such an important and inspiring story. And then to do it with one of my favorite new voices today just made it even more special.”
Morton, known for his indie soul albums and gospel songs that he’s penned, serves as the perfect partner for the inspirational record. The Watch The Sun singer has had a spectacular run of genre-blurring releases that have earned him five Gramophone trophies.

In January, Ye revealed that VULTURES would be divided into three installments. The first was scheduled for Feb. 9 but ultimately came out the following day. Meanwhile, the third volume was announced for April 5.

Ryan Gosling definitely brought the Kenergy during a performance of "I'm Just Ken," a fan-favorite from the movie "Barbie," at the 2024 Oscars on Sunday.
And what a performance it was. Gosling, wearing a sparkly hot-pink suit, had dozens of dancers, his costars, the song's co-writer Mark Ronson, Slash, and more onstage with him to give the song the full Oscars treatment.
A-listers in the audience were also very into Gosling's performance, judging by their dance moves.
Gosling even got director Greta Gerwig, "Barbie" costars Margot Robbie and America Ferrera, and "La La Land" costar Emma Stone to sing along.
Stone had so much fun during the performance that it apparently led to a wardrobe malfunction.
"My dress is broken," she said as she accepted the best actress Oscar for "Poor Things," adding: "I think it happened during 'I'm Just Ken.'"

Da’Vine Joy Randolph wins best supporting actress Oscar for ‘The Holdovers’: ‘Thank you for seeing me’
Da’Vine Joy Randolph won her first-ever Oscar on Sunday for her performance in “The Holdovers,” capping off an impressive sweep through this year’s award season.
“I didn’t think I was supposed to be doing this as a career,” she said, through tears, in her acceptance speech. She went on to thank her mother and the many people who guided her to follow her dream – including her publicist.
“For so long, I’ve always wanted to be different,” she said. “And now I realize I just need to be myself and I thank you. I thank you for seeing me.”
Randolph was nominated in the supporting actress category alongside Emily Blunt for “Oppenheimer,” Danielle Brooks for “The Color Purple,” America Ferrera for “Barbie” and Jodie Foster for “Nyad.”
Randolph’s win on Sunday was as close to a sure bet as one can get.
She’s had a successful award season with continued wins for her breakout role in “The Holdovers,” having previously won a Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award, BAFTA and a SAG Award for her performance in the 2023 dramedy.
In “The Holdovers,” Randolph plays Mary Lamb, a grieving head cook at the New England boarding school where the film is set. She stars alongside Paul Giamatti, who portrays a curmudgeonly prep school professor who’s forced to stay on campus with a handful of students throughout the Christmas break. The film feels all the feels as it explores the power of finding friendship in unlikely places.
“The Holdovers” is nominated for five Oscars on Sunday, including a best actor nod for Giamatti as well as best picture.
Janet Jackson Was honored ahead of her ‘Together Again’ concert in Hawaii
Janet Jackson has arrived on the islands for her ‘Together Again’ concert tour.
Leading up to her trio of performances at the Blaisdell Arena, the music icon was bestowed with a prestigious honor in Hawaii.
Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi proclaimed March 7, 2024, as “Janet Jackson Day” in recognition of her contributions to the music industry and her enduring connection with the Hawaiian islands.
He bestowed the honor to Jackson at the Blaisdell Arena during rehearsals.
“Everyone in our state is absolutely thrilled that you’ve come here to do several shows. We’re very, very grateful, deeply appreciative, and most respectful for your incredible body of work,” said Blangiardi.
Jackson’s ties to Hawaii run deep, starting with her concert at Aloha Stadium in 1999. She went on to film her HBO special “Live in Hawaii” in 2002, captivating an audience of over 12 million viewers worldwide. She has since brought several tours to the Blaisdell Arena.
Hawaii holds a special place in her heart, making it an obvious addition to her “Together Again” tour.
Reflecting on her longstanding relationship with Hawaii, Janet Jackson said, “I have such incredible memories since I was five, six-years-old of coming to Hawaii on the regular. Beautiful memories being here with my family, having so much fun with my brothers.”
Moved by the devastating Maui wildfires, Jackson pledged a portion of her concert proceeds to aid the victims.
“When I heard of the tragedy in Lahaina, it really broke my heart and I wanted to do something, I had to do my part.”
As she prepares to take the stage at the Blaisdell Arena, Janet Jackson’s crew promises a concert filled with over 35 of her chart-topping hits.
Gil Duldulao, Jackson’s creative director of 26-years, lauded the show’s beauty, describing it as a captivating musical journey through the singer’s illustrious career.
“It’s a long continuous musical. I think it’s a great show,” said Duldulao.
Adding a local touch to the tour, at least 10 members of Janet Jackson’s team, including her creative director, makeup artist, and hairstylist, hail from Hawaii.
“We all became so close. She’s like a sister to us. We’re a little family,” said Preston Meneses, who has been Jackson’s makeup artist for 18 years.
“She’s part Hawaiian already. She really is!” laughed Cassidy Unciao, Jackson’s makeup artist of 18-years.
No. 1 South Carolina wins SEC Tournament over No. 8 LSU 79-72 in game marred by skirmish, ejections
MiLaysia Fulwiley scored a career-high 24 points including four 3-pointers as No. 1 South Carolina held off No. 8 LSU 79-72 to win the Southeastern Conference Tournament title Sunday, a victory marred by a fourth-quarter fight that led to Gamecocks leading scorer and rebounder Kamilla Cardoso being ejected.
South Carolina (32-0) was ahead 73-66 when Fulwiley stole the ball from Flau’jae Johnson, who wrapped her up and was called for a foul. Johnson then bumped South Carolina’s Ashlyn Watkins, and the 6-foot-7 Cardoso rushed and pushed the 5-10 Johnson the ground. Players from both benches rushed toward them.
Cardoso and three of her teammates were ejected. Two LSU players who came off the bench were also sent off.
Cardoso can be expected to miss time in the NCAA Tournament for her actions. The Gamecocks enter March Madness as the clear-cut No. 1 seed and the only undefeated team left in Division I, men or women. And they did it against the defending national champion Tigers and SEC player of the year Angel Reese.
It was South Carolina’s eighth tournament crown in the past 10 seasons and its 16th straight win over LSU (28-5), including all four meetings since Kim Mulkey became the Tigers’ coach three seasons ago.
Fulwiley, the speedy, flashy freshman, put on a show in her first SEC Tournament and was named its most valuable player. She hit two 3s as South Carolina used a 24-11 between the first and second quarters to move in front for good.
LSU cut a 13-point deficit to 67-66 on Johnson’s foul shots with 4:36 to play. But Raven Johnson followed with a basket and Bree Hall added two more buckets to extend the margin.
Aneesah Morrow led LSU with 19 points. Reese had 15 points and 13 rebounds, her third straight double-double in the tournament.
LSU’s Mikaylah Williams, the SEC freshman of the year, played for the first time since injuring her foot four games ago. She scored two points in eight minutes.
The Tigers were without Last-Tear Poa, the junior guard who had taken on Williams’ starting spot as the first-year player rested her foot. Poa suffered a concussion late in LSU’s semifinal win over Mississippi on Saturday night when her head hit the floor hard. She needed a stretcher to leave the court and was taken to a hospital and released Saturday night.
LSU: The Tigers have to be tired of coming up second to South Carolina. They’ve finished behind them in the standings in each of Mulkey’s three seasons now have lost the SEC Tournament to the Gamecocks. Perhaps they’ll get another crack at them in March Madness.
South Carolina: The Gamecocks continue to excel despite that, as coach Dawn Staley says, they don’t know what they don’t know. They are filled with confidence and can be expected to show that in the NCAA Tournament.
#BoxOfficeNews: 'Kung Fu Panda 4' Knocks Out 'Dune : Part Two' On Box Office
Po has returned victorious. Following the release of "Kung Fu Panda 4" in the U.S. on March 8, the movie has kicked its way out to the top spot of the North American box office with a solid $58.3 million from 4,035 theaters.
It marks the biggest debut of the franchise since the original, 2008's "Kung Fu Panda", which opened to $60 million, and overtook the start of the two prior entries, 2016's "Kung Fu Panda 3" ($41 million) and 2011's "Kung Fu Panda 2" ($47.6 million), not adjusted for inflation.
Jim Orr appears not to be surprised by the resurgence of interest in the beloved animated franchise. "Family audiences were primed to come out and have fun with a much-beloved franchise," says Orr, Universal's president of domestic distribution. "Animated movies tend to leg out. We anticipate a tremendous corridor."
Meanwhile, David A. Gross of movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research, sees the opening number of "Kung Fu Panda 4" as a big achievement for a movie in its genre. "This is an excellent opening for an animation sequel that's this far into its series," he weighs in. " 'Kung Fu Panda' is showing terrific strength now, with good momentum for another sequel."
Internationally, the fourth installment in DreamWorks Animation's martial arts-inspired comedy film series collected $22 million from 41 markets for a global tally of $80 million. The movie cost $85 million to produce, less than the first three movies, each of which cost about $150 million.
The responses to the film were mostly positive, with audiences giving it an A- CinemaScore. Meanwhile, the movie has a 69% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on critics' reviews.
The arrival of "Kung Fu Panda 4" forces "Dune: Part Two" to abdicate the throne after only one week sitting atop the chart. The sci-fi sequel, however, remained strong with an estimated $46 million, dropping 44.2%, despite being pushed to No. 2.
Following up at No. 3 is another newcomer, "Imaginary", a supernatural horror film co-produced by Jason Blum through his Blumhouse Productions banner. It took in an estimated $10 million, the lowest end of industry projections, on its first weekend, after receiving negative reviews from critics. Audiences seemingly agreed, giving it an average grade of C+ on CinemaScore.
"Cabrini", a biopic about the life of Catholic missionary Francesca Cabrini, debuts at No. 4 with approximately $7.6 million, lower than the projected gross of about $8.5 million. Despite the so-so opening, the movie, which explores the sexism and anti-Italian racism faced by Cabrini and others in New York City during the late 19th century, was approved by critics, with 90% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
"Bob Marley: One Love" rounds out this week's box office with an estimated $4.1 million. Dropping one spot from last week's No. 4, the music biopic about the late reggae artist Bob Marley has collected a total of $89 million in North America and $160 million globally, becoming a surprise box office success.

Kate Middleton's First Post-OP Photo After Surgery Withdrawn Due To Suspected 'Manipulation'
Kensington Palace recently published a new photograph featuring Kate Middleton and her three kids to celebrate Mother's Day, marking the first post-op picture of the Princess of Wales after she underwent an abdominal surgery in January. However, major photo agencies issued a "kill notice" regarding the photo following a suspected manipulation.
On Sunday, March 10, the Associated Press (AP) Reuters, Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Getty Images stated that they had each deleted the photo that saw Kate sitting in a chair with Prince George standing behind her. Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, meanwhile, stood next to Kate on each side.
Of the reason why they issued the "kill notice" to media outlets around the globe, AP explained in a statement, "At closer inspection it appears that the source has manipulated the image."
Insiders, meanwhile, told The Mirror that the photo agencies believed the photograph of Prince William's wife and children had been edited from the original. Some Internet users additionally pointed out several Photoshop fails in the picture, which allegedly was taken last week in Windsor. Among the errors were the missing fabric in Charlotte's sleeve and the fact that George's right hand was out of focus in the picture.
Alongside the picture, the official Instagram account for Kate and Prince William wrote, "Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months." It signed off the message, "Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C."
Some fans, however, remained skeptical despite the new post. "Shout-out to whoever is doing PR ... Because nothing says 'let's put the conspiracy theories to rest' quite like a very badly photoshopped/ai generated photo," one commented. Another noted, "The people on here who said it was photoshopped were right! Organizations around the world are now pulling this image."
Prior to this, TMZ released a picture featuring Kate in her first sighting after her health scare. She was seen sitting in a passenger seat inside a car while her mom Carole was driving. Fans, however, thought that it wasn't Kate but her sister Pippa Middleton instead.
Pittsburgh Steelers will sign QB Russell Wilson to 1-year deal
The Steelers are signing veteran quarterback Russell Wilson to a one-year deal for what is expected to be the veteran minimum, sources have told the Post-Gazette.
The sides agreed on the deal late Sunday night after it appeared it might not happen.
Contracts with free agents cannot be signed until free agency begins Wednesday.
The former Denver Broncos quarterback is expected to challenge Kenny Pickett for the starting position.
The Broncos released Wilson after trading two No. 1 picks and signing him to a five-year, $242.6 million deal before the 2022 season. The Broncos went 11-19 with Wilson as the starter and failed to make the postseason. They benched him with two games remaining in 2023, an indication they were going to eventually part ways with the nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback.
Wilson’s release means the Broncos will take an $85 million salary cap hit in dead money over the next two seasons.
Wilson already had a business connection with the Steelers. He and his wife, Ciara, a Grammy Award-winning singer, are founding partners and equity owners in Evolution Advisers, a joint venture formed by Acrisure, the global insurance broker that owns the naming rights to the North Shore stadium.
General manager Omar Khan previously said at the NFL combine that he has “full faith” in Pickett’s ability to be the type of quarterback the Steelers envisioned when they made him their No. 1 pick two years ago.
“He’s shown us some good things,” Khan said. “Obviously, there were some issues with the offense (under Matt Canada). I’m excited about the impact that [new offensive coordinator] Arthur Smith is going to have on him. I know Arthur is very optimistic about Kenny. I know they’ve communicated, and we’ll have some strong competition there. And we’ll see where it goes. I feel really good about it.”
Now, Pickett has a Super Bowl-winning veteran pushing him to reward that faith.
This past season, Wilson threw 26 touchdowns against just eight interceptions, but he also was sacked 45 times in 15 games and finished the year near the middle of the NFL among most quarterback metrics.
Still, that would be a marked improvement over what the Steelers have gotten from Pickett. The former first-round pick from Pitt has just 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 25 total games since being drafted in 2022.

Ryan Gosling definitely brought the Kenergy during a performance of "I'm Just Ken," a fan-favorite from the movie "Barbie," at the 2024 Oscars on Sunday.
And what a performance it was. Gosling, wearing a sparkly hot-pink suit, had dozens of dancers, his costars, the song's co-writer Mark Ronson, Slash, and more onstage with him to give the song the full Oscars treatment.
A-listers in the audience were also very into Gosling's performance, judging by their dance moves.
Gosling even got director Greta Gerwig, "Barbie" costars Margot Robbie and America Ferrera, and "La La Land" costar Emma Stone to sing along.
Stone had so much fun during the performance that it apparently led to a wardrobe malfunction.
"My dress is broken," she said as she accepted the best actress Oscar for "Poor Things," adding: "I think it happened during 'I'm Just Ken.'"

Da’Vine Joy Randolph won her first-ever Oscar on Sunday for her performance in “The Holdovers,” capping off an impressive sweep through this year’s award season.
“I didn’t think I was supposed to be doing this as a career,” she said, through tears, in her acceptance speech. She went on to thank her mother and the many people who guided her to follow her dream – including her publicist.
“For so long, I’ve always wanted to be different,” she said. “And now I realize I just need to be myself and I thank you. I thank you for seeing me.”
Randolph was nominated in the supporting actress category alongside Emily Blunt for “Oppenheimer,” Danielle Brooks for “The Color Purple,” America Ferrera for “Barbie” and Jodie Foster for “Nyad.”
Randolph’s win on Sunday was as close to a sure bet as one can get.
She’s had a successful award season with continued wins for her breakout role in “The Holdovers,” having previously won a Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award, BAFTA and a SAG Award for her performance in the 2023 dramedy.
In “The Holdovers,” Randolph plays Mary Lamb, a grieving head cook at the New England boarding school where the film is set. She stars alongside Paul Giamatti, who portrays a curmudgeonly prep school professor who’s forced to stay on campus with a handful of students throughout the Christmas break. The film feels all the feels as it explores the power of finding friendship in unlikely places.
“The Holdovers” is nominated for five Oscars on Sunday, including a best actor nod for Giamatti as well as best picture.
Janet Jackson Was honored ahead of her ‘Together Again’ concert in Hawaii
Leading up to her trio of performances at the Blaisdell Arena, the music icon was bestowed with a prestigious honor in Hawaii.
Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi proclaimed March 7, 2024, as “Janet Jackson Day” in recognition of her contributions to the music industry and her enduring connection with the Hawaiian islands.
He bestowed the honor to Jackson at the Blaisdell Arena during rehearsals.
“Everyone in our state is absolutely thrilled that you’ve come here to do several shows. We’re very, very grateful, deeply appreciative, and most respectful for your incredible body of work,” said Blangiardi.
Jackson’s ties to Hawaii run deep, starting with her concert at Aloha Stadium in 1999. She went on to film her HBO special “Live in Hawaii” in 2002, captivating an audience of over 12 million viewers worldwide. She has since brought several tours to the Blaisdell Arena.
Hawaii holds a special place in her heart, making it an obvious addition to her “Together Again” tour.
Reflecting on her longstanding relationship with Hawaii, Janet Jackson said, “I have such incredible memories since I was five, six-years-old of coming to Hawaii on the regular. Beautiful memories being here with my family, having so much fun with my brothers.”
Moved by the devastating Maui wildfires, Jackson pledged a portion of her concert proceeds to aid the victims.

Adding a local touch to the tour, at least 10 members of Janet Jackson’s team, including her creative director, makeup artist, and hairstylist, hail from Hawaii.

No. 1 South Carolina wins SEC Tournament over No. 8 LSU 79-72 in game marred by skirmish, ejections
MiLaysia Fulwiley scored a career-high 24 points including four 3-pointers as No. 1 South Carolina held off No. 8 LSU 79-72 to win the Southeastern Conference Tournament title Sunday, a victory marred by a fourth-quarter fight that led to Gamecocks leading scorer and rebounder Kamilla Cardoso being ejected.
South Carolina (32-0) was ahead 73-66 when Fulwiley stole the ball from Flau’jae Johnson, who wrapped her up and was called for a foul. Johnson then bumped South Carolina’s Ashlyn Watkins, and the 6-foot-7 Cardoso rushed and pushed the 5-10 Johnson the ground. Players from both benches rushed toward them.
Cardoso and three of her teammates were ejected. Two LSU players who came off the bench were also sent off.
Cardoso can be expected to miss time in the NCAA Tournament for her actions. The Gamecocks enter March Madness as the clear-cut No. 1 seed and the only undefeated team left in Division I, men or women. And they did it against the defending national champion Tigers and SEC player of the year Angel Reese.
It was South Carolina’s eighth tournament crown in the past 10 seasons and its 16th straight win over LSU (28-5), including all four meetings since Kim Mulkey became the Tigers’ coach three seasons ago.
Fulwiley, the speedy, flashy freshman, put on a show in her first SEC Tournament and was named its most valuable player. She hit two 3s as South Carolina used a 24-11 between the first and second quarters to move in front for good.
LSU cut a 13-point deficit to 67-66 on Johnson’s foul shots with 4:36 to play. But Raven Johnson followed with a basket and Bree Hall added two more buckets to extend the margin.
Aneesah Morrow led LSU with 19 points. Reese had 15 points and 13 rebounds, her third straight double-double in the tournament.
LSU’s Mikaylah Williams, the SEC freshman of the year, played for the first time since injuring her foot four games ago. She scored two points in eight minutes.
The Tigers were without Last-Tear Poa, the junior guard who had taken on Williams’ starting spot as the first-year player rested her foot. Poa suffered a concussion late in LSU’s semifinal win over Mississippi on Saturday night when her head hit the floor hard. She needed a stretcher to leave the court and was taken to a hospital and released Saturday night.
LSU: The Tigers have to be tired of coming up second to South Carolina. They’ve finished behind them in the standings in each of Mulkey’s three seasons now have lost the SEC Tournament to the Gamecocks. Perhaps they’ll get another crack at them in March Madness.
South Carolina: The Gamecocks continue to excel despite that, as coach Dawn Staley says, they don’t know what they don’t know. They are filled with confidence and can be expected to show that in the NCAA Tournament.

It marks the biggest debut of the franchise since the original, 2008's "Kung Fu Panda", which opened to $60 million, and overtook the start of the two prior entries, 2016's "Kung Fu Panda 3" ($41 million) and 2011's "Kung Fu Panda 2" ($47.6 million), not adjusted for inflation.
Jim Orr appears not to be surprised by the resurgence of interest in the beloved animated franchise. "Family audiences were primed to come out and have fun with a much-beloved franchise," says Orr, Universal's president of domestic distribution. "Animated movies tend to leg out. We anticipate a tremendous corridor."
Meanwhile, David A. Gross of movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research, sees the opening number of "Kung Fu Panda 4" as a big achievement for a movie in its genre. "This is an excellent opening for an animation sequel that's this far into its series," he weighs in. " 'Kung Fu Panda' is showing terrific strength now, with good momentum for another sequel."
Internationally, the fourth installment in DreamWorks Animation's martial arts-inspired comedy film series collected $22 million from 41 markets for a global tally of $80 million. The movie cost $85 million to produce, less than the first three movies, each of which cost about $150 million.
The responses to the film were mostly positive, with audiences giving it an A- CinemaScore. Meanwhile, the movie has a 69% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on critics' reviews.
The arrival of "Kung Fu Panda 4" forces "Dune: Part Two" to abdicate the throne after only one week sitting atop the chart. The sci-fi sequel, however, remained strong with an estimated $46 million, dropping 44.2%, despite being pushed to No. 2.
Following up at No. 3 is another newcomer, "Imaginary", a supernatural horror film co-produced by Jason Blum through his Blumhouse Productions banner. It took in an estimated $10 million, the lowest end of industry projections, on its first weekend, after receiving negative reviews from critics. Audiences seemingly agreed, giving it an average grade of C+ on CinemaScore.
"Cabrini", a biopic about the life of Catholic missionary Francesca Cabrini, debuts at No. 4 with approximately $7.6 million, lower than the projected gross of about $8.5 million. Despite the so-so opening, the movie, which explores the sexism and anti-Italian racism faced by Cabrini and others in New York City during the late 19th century, was approved by critics, with 90% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
"Bob Marley: One Love" rounds out this week's box office with an estimated $4.1 million. Dropping one spot from last week's No. 4, the music biopic about the late reggae artist Bob Marley has collected a total of $89 million in North America and $160 million globally, becoming a surprise box office success.

Kate Middleton's First Post-OP Photo After Surgery Withdrawn Due To Suspected 'Manipulation'
Kensington Palace recently published a new photograph featuring Kate Middleton and her three kids to celebrate Mother's Day, marking the first post-op picture of the Princess of Wales after she underwent an abdominal surgery in January. However, major photo agencies issued a "kill notice" regarding the photo following a suspected manipulation.
On Sunday, March 10, the Associated Press (AP) Reuters, Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Getty Images stated that they had each deleted the photo that saw Kate sitting in a chair with Prince George standing behind her. Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, meanwhile, stood next to Kate on each side.
Of the reason why they issued the "kill notice" to media outlets around the globe, AP explained in a statement, "At closer inspection it appears that the source has manipulated the image."
Insiders, meanwhile, told The Mirror that the photo agencies believed the photograph of Prince William's wife and children had been edited from the original. Some Internet users additionally pointed out several Photoshop fails in the picture, which allegedly was taken last week in Windsor. Among the errors were the missing fabric in Charlotte's sleeve and the fact that George's right hand was out of focus in the picture.
Alongside the picture, the official Instagram account for Kate and Prince William wrote, "Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months." It signed off the message, "Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C."
Some fans, however, remained skeptical despite the new post. "Shout-out to whoever is doing PR ... Because nothing says 'let's put the conspiracy theories to rest' quite like a very badly photoshopped/ai generated photo," one commented. Another noted, "The people on here who said it was photoshopped were right! Organizations around the world are now pulling this image."
Prior to this, TMZ released a picture featuring Kate in her first sighting after her health scare. She was seen sitting in a passenger seat inside a car while her mom Carole was driving. Fans, however, thought that it wasn't Kate but her sister Pippa Middleton instead.
Pittsburgh Steelers will sign QB Russell Wilson to 1-year deal
The sides agreed on the deal late Sunday night after it appeared it might not happen.
Contracts with free agents cannot be signed until free agency begins Wednesday.
The former Denver Broncos quarterback is expected to challenge Kenny Pickett for the starting position.
The Broncos released Wilson after trading two No. 1 picks and signing him to a five-year, $242.6 million deal before the 2022 season. The Broncos went 11-19 with Wilson as the starter and failed to make the postseason. They benched him with two games remaining in 2023, an indication they were going to eventually part ways with the nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback.
Wilson’s release means the Broncos will take an $85 million salary cap hit in dead money over the next two seasons.
Wilson already had a business connection with the Steelers. He and his wife, Ciara, a Grammy Award-winning singer, are founding partners and equity owners in Evolution Advisers, a joint venture formed by Acrisure, the global insurance broker that owns the naming rights to the North Shore stadium.
General manager Omar Khan previously said at the NFL combine that he has “full faith” in Pickett’s ability to be the type of quarterback the Steelers envisioned when they made him their No. 1 pick two years ago.
“He’s shown us some good things,” Khan said. “Obviously, there were some issues with the offense (under Matt Canada). I’m excited about the impact that [new offensive coordinator] Arthur Smith is going to have on him. I know Arthur is very optimistic about Kenny. I know they’ve communicated, and we’ll have some strong competition there. And we’ll see where it goes. I feel really good about it.”
Now, Pickett has a Super Bowl-winning veteran pushing him to reward that faith.
This past season, Wilson threw 26 touchdowns against just eight interceptions, but he also was sacked 45 times in 15 games and finished the year near the middle of the NFL among most quarterback metrics.
Still, that would be a marked improvement over what the Steelers have gotten from Pickett. The former first-round pick from Pitt has just 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 25 total games since being drafted in 2022.
The news generated a massive mixed bag of reactions from around the NFL world, with a pretty decisive split between those who praise the bold move and those who see a quarterback at the end of his career.
North West Announces Her Debut Album 'Elementary School Dropout'
On Sunday (March 10), North West attended the VULTURES 2 listening event in Phoenix, Arizona, alongside her father, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. There, she announced her debut project and its title.
“I’ve been working on an album, and it’s called Elementary School Dropout,” the 10-year-old told the crowd, who subsequently applauded. The name pays homage to Ye’s 2004 LP, The College Dropout. The iconic body of work housed classics such as “Through the Wire,” “Jesus Walks,” “Last Call” and “All Falls Down,” among others.
North’s foray into music isn’t entirely new. She previously featured on “TALKING,” a track from Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s VULTURES 1. On the record, she rapped, “I love it here / We gonna take over the year for another year / It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie / Don’t tryna test me / It’s gonna get messy.”
The song debuted at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, placing her among the youngest artists to reach the index. Meanwhile, VULTURES 1 managed to top the Billboard 200 chart with 148,000 album-equivalent units earned. Of those, 129,000 came from streaming, 18,000 were pure sales, and the last 1,000 were from individual track sales.
In addition to North’s announcement, Ye and Ty Dolla Sign reportedly previewed eight records from their forthcoming project over the weekend. Future, Playboi Carti, Lil Durk, Project Pat, Don Toliver and 070 Shake were among some of the notable collaborators.
A Fraud Lawsuit Targets New Billy Preston Documentary
Per Deadline, the complaint seeks an immediate “injunction preventing Defendants from exhibiting, screening, distributing, selling or otherwise exploiting” the Paris Barclay-directed documentary, “Billy Preston: That’s The Way God Planned It.”
“The Documentary containing intellectual property and other materials provided by and belonging to Plaintiffs, including, without limitation footage from the interviews given by Plaintiffs Joyce Moore, Samuel Moore and Kenneth Burke,” the legal docs continue, Deadline reports.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, Preston Music Group, Ken Burke, and others filed the complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court.
As Deadline reports, the filing states: “Instead of creating the film that they falsely described to Plaintiffs, Defendants White Horse Pictures, LLC, Homegrown Pictures, Inc. and Oyster Productions, LLC, by and through their principals and representatives Defendants Nigel Sinclair, Jeanne Elfant Festa, Stephanie Allain Bray, Paris C.K. Barclay and Cheo Hodari Coker (collectively, ‘Defendants’), produced a film that is a salacious, posthumous ‘outing’ of Mr. Preston that centers on his sexuality – a deeply personal matter that Mr. Preston kept private until immediately before his untimely death – to the exclusion of many of the late musician’s notable accomplishments.”
Preston, known for his talents as a singer, songwriter, and keyboard virtuoso, notably collaborated with the Fab Four before embarking on a prosperous solo career. He passed away in 2006 at the age of 59.
The 29-page complaint outlines the grievances against some of the content in the doc.
“In particular, the Documentary contains extensive commentary from an individual who never even met Mr. Preston regarding the roots of his homosexuality and impact of childhood sexual abuse,” the filing says, Deadline reports.
“The prominent feature of that scandalous material originating from someone to whom Mr. Preston was a complete stranger (and who apparently was owed a favor on a quid pro quo basis by the film’s director) is jarring and out of place,” the filing continues. “Their inclusion, the overall framing of the Documentary and the manner in which the film is being marketed, all confirm that this project is about pushing the director’s and producers’ personal agendas and financial benefit rather than the homage to Billy Preston that was sold to Plaintiffs.”
The plaintiffs have enlisted the services of prominent Hollywood figure Marty Singer and his associate Melissa Lerner to advocate for them in their pursuit of a jury trial.
Fletcher Cox Officially Announces Retirement After 12 Seasons WITH The Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are losing another longtime player from their roster.
Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox announced on Instagram Sunday that he's retiring after 12 seasons with the team.
"After much reflection, I have made the decision to retire from the game of football. I gave everything I had to this team and to this city," Cox wrote. "I don't know what's next for me, but I do know that I'm forever grateful for my time here in Philadelphia and with the Eagles organization. Go Birds!"
Cox joined the organization in April 2012 under then-head coach Andy Reid.
"I fulfilled a lifelong dream by making it to the NFL, but what I didn't know at the time was how much of an honor and privilege it would be to represent the City of Philadelphia and the Eagles organization for the next 12 seasons," Cox continued in his post.
The six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro also went on to thank Jeffrey Lurie, Howie Roseman, Don Smolenksi, coaches Doug Pederson and Nick Sirianni and the entire Eagles support stuff. "You have all made a tremendous impact on my life and my career," he wrote
Cox is the latest member of the Super Bowl LII-winning Eagles team to make a major announcement about his future. He now joins famed Eagles center Jason Kelce in retirement, who officially announced he's hanging up his cleats back on March 4.
On Saturday, March 9, Brandon Graham agreed to terms of a 1-year contract extension with the Eagles, fulfilling the defensive end's desire to play one more season with the team.
"BG, Kelce, Lane -- you guys will always have a special place in my heart," Cox said in the lengthy post. "Trent Cole – I'm so thankful for you taking me under your wing in my first year. I can only hope I was able to have the same kind of impact on others that you had on me."
Cox also served as an Eagles team captain for six consecutive seasons and played 188 regular season games with Philadelphia, ranking him first among defensive tackles and tied for third among all players in franchise history, according to the team. Throughout his prolific career, Cox had 70 quarterback sacks and three fumbles recovered for a touchdown, tied with Seth Joyner for the most in the Eagles history.
In a statement posted on the Eagles' social media pages, team owner Lurie said Cox "had a tremendous amount of respect for the game of football and the legacy he would one day be leaving behind, and that was reflected in the way he set the standard every single day whether on the practice field or in the locker room."
"We are incredibly thankful for everything he gave to our organization and to the city of Philadelphia over the years, and we wish him all the best as he embarks on the future," Lurie continued.
Ariana Grande slams people sending ‘hateful messages’ after her latest album release
Fans of Ariana Grande were swift to speculate on the inspiration behind her latest album, "Eternal Sunshine." Now, the singer is calling out people who've sent "hateful messages" to people in her life after listening.
"Anyone that is sending hateful messages to the people in my life based on your interpretation of this album is not supporting me and is absolutely doing the polar opposite of what I would ever encourage," Grande said in a post to her Instagram story March 9.
The "We Can't Be Friends" singer added that sending hate "is also entirely misrepresenting the intention behind the music."
"I ask that you please do not. It is not how to support me," she wrote.
"Eternal Sunshine" dropped March 8, marking her first album in more than three years. She released her sixth album, "Positions," in 2020.
It also marks Grande's first album since her and Dalton Gomez's marriage and divorce. After confirming their relationship in a 2020 music video, they got married in May 2021. They announced their split in July 2023, and at the same time, Grande confirmed that she had "recently" started dating her "Wicked" co-star Ethan Slater.
After the tumultuous changes in her love life, fans expected "Eternal Sunshine" to tell Grande's story behind the headlines. "I think it kind of fell into place that these songs had little tidbits of that theme."
Grande acknowledged in her message that the album captures "a lot of painful moments" — but it's more than that, she said.

'Love Is Blind' Put Infidelity Front And Center In Wedding Episode.
The impact of generational trauma was on display during the Love Is Blind Season 6 finale.
Clay Gravesande, who was engaged to Amber Desiree “AD” Smith, said no at the altar as it appeared the couple was ready to wed.
While AD said “I do,” Clay couldn’t meet her there. “AD, I love you. I don't think it's responsible for me to say 'I do,’” he told her. “I know fully I’m not ready for marriage.”
His decision ran deep. Throughout the season, he talked about his concerns. He worried about being the best husband possible and didn't want to cheat on his spouse. He opened up about how his fears were affected by his parents, Trevor and Margarita Gravesande.
He said his dad, who was married to his mom for almost 24 years before they divorced, cheated on her and even brought him on “infidelity trips” with him when he was a kid.
As Margarita and Trevor talked after Clay's decision not to marry AD, a conversation unfolded that is rarely seen on a reality dating show between two people who weren’t contestants.
“Kids, when they grow up and see things, it’s like, ‘Is marriage for real? Or is marriage something that you get into and you lie and you deceive?’” Margarita said to Trevor. “And he took a lot of that to the altar with his decision.”

“In general, I think [this episode] will go a long way to humanizing cheaters and showing people the underlying reasons why some cheat so they can either get help for themselves or understand better why someone may have cheated on them,” Nicole Moore, a love-and-relationship coach, told Yahoo Entertainment. “It looks as if Clay was in the process of truly realizing how much he needed to heal from the influence of his father and I hope that others watching will be inspired to heal too.”
Saying no
After saying no at the altar, Clay approached AD in her dressing room to try to further explain why he wasn't ready to get married and that his decision was a last-minute "game-time decision.” AD said she felt like a "sacrifice" who was "used" on his journey of self-actualization. In her on-camera interview, she said she didn’t regret saying "I do," but she didn’t plan on continuing to date him despite his interest in continuing their relationship.
Jennifer Allen, who was an officiant on the Dallas-based Love Is Blind Season 3, says she wasn't surprised Clay said no.
“It wasn't too far-fetched, just simply because I feel like he kind of had this built-in crutch of, well, these are kind of some things that I'm working on," she told Yahoo Entertainment.
As a Black woman, Allen said watching the conversation that Trevor and Margarita had is “super important.”
“That whole 'what happens in the house, stays in the house' is a true thing [in] Black culture and it's so crazy how, despite everybody growing up in different households, how we share so many of the same types of experiences,” she explained.
“Television truly does shape our perceptions and seeing Clay's mom really let his dad know that he is partly responsible for Clay's commitment issues will shape viewers' awareness in a very positive way,” Moore said. “It was incredible to witness that Clay's dad was somewhat unaware of the impact that bringing Clay along to witness his cheating had on Clay. I think that moment will resonate with viewers who are parents and spark some amazing conversations with their children to hopefully mitigate any negative impact that their relationship issues have had.”
Carrying pain from parents’ divorces
AD, whose parents also got divorced, expressed early on in the season that she had a habit of trying to fix men and needed to break it. She also said that Clay was the type of guy she’d usually date.
Clay was open about his concerns with infidelity. Not only was he capable of talking about it, he was self-aware about how difficult his parents’ marriage was for him and talked about having a lack of Black role models when it came to monogamy.
“Some people can read that as an attachment avoidance, his intimacy issues, he's not ready. Some people see it as just good TV, because it's kind of startling,” Tammy Nelson, a psychotherapist and relationship expert told Yahoo Entertainment. "He was acting in integrity, with his beliefs about how he could make a commitment that he believed in, like, ‘Don't fake it.’”
Allen hopes Trevor and Margarita's conversation opens the door for more families to address hurt.
“In this day and age, it is good to see an older couple who had been married for [24 years], where on the outside, someone else may have viewed that as a healthy, thriving marriage when in reality, not only was [Trevor] cheating, but he was taking his child with him to cheat on his mama,” Allen said. “It's really important for people, whether you're the man or the woman in the situation, or on whatever side of the infidelity ... to see what it looks like when you allow somebody to speak the hurt that they have without you having a rebuttal.”
As the Love Is Blind cast prepares to reunite March 13, it looks like Clay and AD’s conversations are far from over.
