#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Settlement Reached Divorce From Mike Hill

Cynthia's attorney, Daniel R. Meachum, tells us they'll be fixing the original petition for divorce -- which included allegations of adultery -- to only include irreconcilable differences.

He says, "The initial divorce filing between Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill, which included inappropriate adulterous relations, was incorrect. The sole reason for the pending divorce is due to only irreconcilable differences. An amended petition is being filed immediately to correct that allegation by the legal representation of Meachum and Associates."

Cynthia echoes the statement, telling us he has not cheated and, "We are and always will be friends and wish each other well."

Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill are signed, sealed and divorced -- less than 2 months after announcing their split, they've hammered out a settlement according to TMZ.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum and the Fox Sports anchor wasted no time putting together the divorce agreement -- a Fulton County court judge signed off on it Thursday ... so they're both officially single.

The exes hit their 2nd anniversary back in October -- without celebration, we should say -- and then a few days later announced they were breaking up. In the divorce docs, obtained by TMZ, Cynthia says the marriage is irretrievably broken with no shot of reconciliation, and she accuses Mike of "inappropriate adulterous relations."

As for Mike's side -- he's choosing to remain silent, saying he will not file any response to the allegations. He actually signed the divorce agreement first, on October 20, and Cynthia signed on November 1.

The now-exes made it easy to go their own ways because they never intermingled their finances, taxes or property during their 2 years together.

They had 2 separate homes, which each will keep. They didn't have kids together, and they've agreed neither will pay spousal support. Mike didn't even retain a lawyer!

Cynthia and Mike threw a big lavish wedding, back in 2020, at Governors Towne Club in Georgia -- and the party was featured in season 13 of 'RHOA.'

#HipHopNews: DJ Khaled Pays Tribute To Takeoff: 'I'm So Happy To Call You My Brother'

Following tributes from Quavo, Offset, and Drake, DJ Khaled honored the late Migos rapper during his headlining set at the Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday night.

“We’re gonna pay tribute to my brother. I’m sending my love to the Migos, QC,” Khaled said as photos of Takeoff were shown on the giant outdoor screens. “Rest in peace to my brother, Takeoff.”

He told the crowd to light up the sky with their phones as he reflected on their friendship. “Takeoff, we love you brother. You showed me so much love. One of the nicest people I ever met in my life,” Khaled continued. “Everytime I talked to you, you said you loved me. I hit you back and I said I love you.”

He went on to recall their last conversation. “I’ll never forget, my last text with Takeoff. Long live forever Takeoff. He said, ‘Khaled, I’m so happy to call you my brother.’ Well, I’m here to tell you… I’m so happy to you call you my brother, Takeoff.”

The We the Best mogul had the crowd singing along as he played Migos hits like “Fight Night” and “Versace” before revealing that Migos was supposed to join him on stage at the festival.

“It was going to be my surprise guest,” Khaled said, according to Billboard. “They’re still here. Make some noise for my brother, Takeoff. Takeoff is here right now. We love you. We appreciate you.”

On Friday, police arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with Takeoff’s murder. Patrick Xavier Clark was charged with murder in the fatal shooting outside a Houston bowling alley on Nov. 1.

In addition to honoring Takeoff, Khaled brought out surprise guests Future, Rick Ross, T.I., Fat Joe, and Busta Rhymes during his Soundstorm performance.

Keke Palmer's Boyfriend Darius Jackson Pays Tribute to Actress After Pregnancy Reveal

On Dec. 3, about an hour after the Emmy winner announced during her Saturday Night Live hosting debut that she is pregnant with her first child, her boyfriend Darius Jackson, a.k.a. Darius Daulton, shared a sweet tribute to her on his Instagram Story. The actress' partner posted a photo of her wearing a sweater and sitting at a restaurant while cradling her baby bump. Darius caption the pic, "2023" and added a red heart emoji.

Darius, brother of Insecure actor Sarunas Jackson, and Keke went Instagram official last year but have largely kept their relationship private.

Also on Dec. 3, he reshared a selfie the mom-to-be had posted on her own Instagram Story, showing the two backstage at SNL with the rest of her entourage. In addition, Darius reposted a clip of Keke recording a phone video message, originally shared by DomiNque Perry, another Insecure star, who shares a daughter with Sarunas. The latter actress also posted a photo of herself kissing Keke's baby bump.

"Secrets outttt! Zen has another blood cousin on the way!" she wrote. "Super congrats to you sis on this winning night, welcome to the mommyclub and @dvulton you guys are going to do great! Love you much @keke.

Darius liked the post. Following months of pregnancy rumors, Keke, 29, confirmed the reports during her SNL monologue. "There's some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant,'" she said, "and I wanna set the record straight—I am!"

The actress then opened her long jacket to reveal her bare baby bump. Her cousin shared an Instagram video of the moment, as seen from her VIP seat in Studio 8H.

Keke continued during her monologue, "I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, cause I got a lot of stuff going on. But honestly, this has been the biggest blessing and I am so excited. Guys, I'm going to be a mom."

Bond set at $2 million for Patrick Xavier Clark the man suspected of killing Takeoff

The man suspected of killing Takeoff last month in Houston made his first appearance in court on Friday (Dec. 2).

Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was arrested by Houston police Thursday (Dec. 1) evening and has since been charged with murder. His arrest marks the second authorities have made in the case. Cameron Joshua, 22, was previously arrested on two counts of felony possession of a firearm. Joshua was supposedly at the gathering but is believed to have no connection to the actual shooting of Takeoff.

According to KTRK-TV, who obtained court documents, the evidence that led to Clark’s arrest includes video footage, license plate information from the car in which he left the scene, and fingerprints collected from a wine bottle he was seen holding.

It was also noted that the suspected gunman’s bond was set at $2 million and that he may have planned to skip town. Additionally, documents showed he purchased two plane tickets to Mexico and applied for an expedited passport. During his arrest, he was in possession of the passport and a large amount of cash. “So, we believe that he had plans or has plans to flee the jurisdiction if released on bond,” the judge said. Clark is currently being held in the Harris County Jail and is expected to return to court on Monday (Dec. 5).

As previously reported LT, Takeoff was fatally wounded when a verbal altercation erupted into gunfire at a private party on Nov. 1. Police said the Grammy Award-winning artist was an innocent bystander. He was laid to rest after a public memorial held in Atlanta on Nov. 11 at State Farm Arena. The Rocket Foundation, a nonprofit created in his memory, was launched by his family to benefit programs combating gun violence.

Scores of tributes have flooded social media since Takeoff’s tragic passing. Cardi B, who is married to Migos member Offset, recently opened up about the toll grief has taken on her family. “We’re living our lives normally, but deep down inside, our hearts have been so heavy,” she revealed online.

Gladys Knight, U2, George Clooney among this year’s Kennedy Center honorees

Performers such as Gladys Knight or the Irish band U2 usually would be headlining a concert for thousands but at Sunday's Kennedy Center Honors the tables will be turned as they and other artists will be the ones feted for their lifetime of artistic contributions.

Actor, director, producer and human rights activist George Clooney, groundbreaking composer and conductor Tania LeΓ³n, and contemporary Christian singer Amy Grant will join Knight and the entire crew of U2 in being honored by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The organization honors a select group of people every year for their artistic influences on American culture. President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and their respective spouses are slated to attend.

Biden paid tribute to the honorees before the ceremony at the White House Sunday afternoon, praising them before a star-studded East Room crowd as an "exceptional group of artists."

"Thank you for showing us the power of the arts and 'We the People,'" Biden said.

He highlighted Clooney's on-camera work and off-screen charity endeavors, from helping 9/11 victims' families to supporting a gun control campaign led by the survivors of the Parkland school shooting.

"He is unrelenting and undaunted," Biden said. "That is character in real life. And that is George Clooney."

Biden hailed Grant's voice as "a true gift from God that she shares with everyone," thanked LeΓ³n for 'breathing new sounds into the soul of the nation," and said he has all of Knight's songs on his iPhone.

"We're going to get on that midnight train," Biden said of Knight. "Because I speak for all Americans when I say we we'd rather live in your world than be without you in ours."

Biden, noting his love of Irish poets, called U2 "four sons of Ireland, poets in their own right" whose music "has changed the world."

"We would do well to remember today at a moment when there's too much hate, too much anger, too much division here in America, and quite frankly, around the world," Biden said. "We have to remember today, as their song goes: 'We are one but we're not the same. We get to carry each other.'"

The 61-year-old Clooney has television credits going back into the late 1970s but became a household name with the role of Doug Ross on the television show "ER."

From there he starred in movies such as "Three Kings," "Ocean's Eleven" (and "Twelve" and "Thirteen"), "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and his most recent film, "Ticket to Paradise." He also has extensive directing and producing credits including "Good Night, and Good Luck." He and his wife, humanitarian rights lawyer Amal Clooney, created the Clooney Foundation for Justice, and he's produced telethons to raise money for various causes.

Knight, 78, said in a statement that she was "humbled beyond words" at receiving the Kennedy honor. The Georgia-born Knight began singing gospel music at the age of 4 and went on to a career that has spanned decades.

Knight and family members started a band that would later be known as Gladys Knight & The Pips and produced their first album in 1960 when Knight was just 16. Since then she's recorded dozens of albums with such classic hits as "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "Midnight Train to Georgia." Along the way she's acted in television shows and movies. When Knight and the band were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Mariah Carey described Knight as "a textbook you learn from."

U2's strong connection to America goes back decades. They performed in Washington during their first trip to America in 1980. In a statement the band — made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. — said they originally came to America with big dreams "fueled in part by the commonly held belief at home that America smiles on Ireland."

"And it turned out to be true, yet again," read the statement. "It has been a four-decade love affair with the country and its people, its artists, and culture."

U2 has sold 170 million albums and been honored with 22 Grammys. The band's epic singles include "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," "Pride (In the Name of Love)" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday." Lead singer Bono has also become known for his philanthropic work to eradicate poverty and to raise awareness about AIDS.

Grant is well known for crossover pop hits like "Baby, Baby," "Every Heartbeat" and "That's What Love is For." She's sold more than 30 million albums, including her 1991 record "Heart in Motion," which introduced her to a larger pop audience.

LeΓ³n said during an interview when the honorees were announced that she wasn't expecting "anything spectacular" when the Kennedy Center initially reached out to her. After all, she's worked with the Kennedy Center numerous times over the years going back to 1980, when she was commissioned to compose music for a play.

But the 79-year-old Pulitzer Prize winner said she was stunned to learn that this time the ceremony was going to be for her.

LeΓ³n left Cuba as a refugee in 1967 and eventually settled in New York City. She's a founding member of the Dance Theatre of Harlem and instituted the Brooklyn Philharmonic Community Concert Series.

Bob McGrath, original 'Sesame Street' star, dies at 90

Bob McGrath, an actor and singer who played human "Bob Johnson" on Sesame Street for more than 40 years, has died. He was 90 years old.

McGrath's family announced his death on Sunday, Dec. 4 in a Facebook post.

"The McGrath family has some sad news to share," the post read. "Our father Bob McGrath passed away today. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family."

Sesame Street star Alan Muraoka was among those posting tributes to McGrath, who had returned for the show's 50th anniversary special in 2019.

"Words cannot begin to express what Bob meant to me: a role model, a mentor, a friend," wrote Muraoka, who has played shopkeeper Alan since 1998. "His kindness and wicked sense of humor were such a joy, and I loved him so much. We all gathered in July to wish him a happy 90th birthday, and that was the last time Herb and I saw him. Rest well my friend. You did good."

Prior to joining Sesame Street as an original cast member in 1969, McGrath was a singer who enjoyed international success and a featured tenor on the NBC show Sing Along with Mitch from 1960 to 1964. But the groundbreaking PBS children's series introduced him to generations of new fans, with McGrath remaining one of the show's two longest-lasting stars (Loretta Long, best known as Susan Robinson, being the other). After 47 years, it was announced that McGrath was leaving the beloved show, though he continued to represent the brand in online videos and other projects, including the 50th anniversary special and the 2021 documentary, Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street.

Married to wife Ann since 1958, McGrath was a father of five who turned 90 in June.

‘Emancipation’ Producer Apologizes for Bringing Photo of Man Who Escaped Slavery and Inspired Film to Premiere

‘Emancipation’ producer Joey McFarland says he intended “honor” the man Will Smith portrays in his latest film, but now he’s rightfully apologizing for carrying around photos of slaves like trading cards.

McFarland brought the infamous “Scourged Back” photo that Emancipation is inspired by to the film’s premiere, which almost immediately sparked controversy and criticism. McFarland, who brought the original photo from his own private collection, took to Instagram to apologize.

“I wholeheartedly apologize to everyone I have offended by bringing a photograph of Peter to the Emancipation premiere,” McFarland wrote. “My intent was to honor this remarkable man and to remind the general public that his image not only brought about change in 1863 but still resonates and promotes change today.”

However, critics on social media have called out McFarland’s apology for referring to the man in the photo, named Gordon, who escaped slavery and joined the Union Army during the Civil War, as “Peter.” The photo, when published in 1863, came to be known as “Whipped Peter,” possibly referencing the name his enslavers gave him.

The producer was also criticized for saying he wasn’t going to sell his collection, which includes the “Scourged Back” photo, until his death “for educational purposes,” though in his statement, he announced plans to begin the donating process.

“Throughout the research and development of Emancipation, I discovered photographs of overlooked and historically important individuals whose stories also needed to be told,” McFarland wrote. “One photograph, of Martin Delaney, is on loan to the National Portrait Gallery and currently on exhibit. My plan was always to donate the photographs to the appropriate institution, in consultation with the community, and I believe there is no better time to begin that process than now.”

McFarland added he hoped his “actions didn’t distract from the film’s message, Peter’s story, and just how much impact he had on the world.” Star Will Smith also expressed similar hopes about his recent controversies.

“The only discomfort my heart has around that is that so many people have done spectacular work on this film,” Smith told EW in an exclusive roundtable with his Emancipation costars Ben Foster and Charmaine Bingwa. “My hope is that my team isn’t penalized at all for my actions. I think [director Antoine Fuqua] and [cinematographer Robert Richardson] and Ben and Charmaine — everyone has done such spectacular work. I definitely lose a couple winks of sleep every night thinking that I could have potentially penalized my team, but I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that everyone gets seen in the light that they deserve.”

“Thank you so much for everything.”

The 82-year-old “Black Pearl” led Brazil to three World Cup championships in 1958, 1962, and 1970, and finished his career with the New York Cosmos. In the 1958 World Cup, he scored two goals in the championship game against Sweden.

Pele is being treated for colon cancer and also has a respiratory infection. He was hospitalized Tuesday for what was described as “a reassessment of chemotherapy treatment.”

The cancer was detected last year, according to a statement from the Sao Paulo Hospital, the Folha de Sao Paulo reported.

Deion Sanders accepts Colorado University head coaching job

It’s official: Deion Sanders will be coaching the Colorado Buffaloes next season. Sanders publicly announced his exit yesterday (Dec. 3) after Jackson State University rolled over Southern University 43-24 in the SWAC Championship game.

Prime Time took to social media to break the news. Despite earning a reported $5 million salary, he insisted the next chapter of his career isn’t driven by money.

“It’s not about a bag but rather the chance to create opportunities for African American coaches,” said Sanders, who finished with a 27-5 record at JSU. “I feel like I have to do something about it. There have been four or more African American coaches at the next level that have been terminated… That’s a problem that many don’t think about.”

Sanders added: “My challenge is still to provoke change, no matter where I am. I’m 55 and don’t plan on changing anytime soon. God made me like this, and I think God is pleased with what he created.”

The Buffaloes are excited that Prime Time will be joining its program. The university’s athletic director, Rick George, praised coach Sanders and his iconic persona. He feels that his attitude will be perfect for Colorado, a school that has only had two winning seasons since 2005.

“There were a number of highly qualified and impressive candidates interested in becoming the next head football coach at Colorado, but none of them had the pedigree, the knowledge, and the ability to connect with student-athletes like Deion Sanders,” George said in a statement. “Not only will Coach Prime energize our fanbase, I’m confident that he will lead our program back to national prominence while leading a team of high quality and high character.”

Sanders’ record as an American athlete is impressive. He’s been inducted into both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame. He played in the NFL for 14 seasons, won two Super Bowls, and competed for several Major League Baseball teams from 1989 through 2001.

Even though Colorado has officially named Sanders as its next head coach, his job at Jackson State isn’t over yet.

Sanders told Jackson State players that he will coach the Celebration Bowl on Dec. 17 against North Carolina Central in Atlanta.

Robin Roberts Told Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes To 'Stop It' Before Affair Expose

While Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes reportedly have received love and support from their ABC colleagues amid their affair scandal, Robin Roberts (II) has shown her concern over the pair's relationship. The longtime "Good Morning America" anchor allegedly once confronted the couple about their affair rumors before it was exposed to the public.

While it has been reported that Amy and T.J. left their respective spouses after a months-long affair, they were plagued by internal speculation about their relationship for years, going as far back as 2017, Page Six reports. According to one insider, Robin "pulled them both aside and basically said, 'Stop it,' " at the time.

Another source confirms that Robin asked Amy and T.J. about it because she was also hearing the rumors. T.J., however, denied it at the time.

Though they were adamant that their relationship was strictly professional at the time, T.J. reportedly was very concerned about the rumors and took the issue to higher-ups. "He was a correspondent at the time, and he didn't want Robin thinking that about him. He went to [ABC brass] and got ahead of it to dismiss it because it wasn't true," a third source claims.

A fourth source adds that T.J. spoke to former "GMA" executive producer Michael Corn because "it was absolutely not true, and it freaked them out. Amy and T.J.'s friendship took a hit when the rumors started."

While Amy and T.J. reportedly did not start having a romantic relationship until May this year, before separating from their respective spouses in August, T.J. was accused of cheating on his wife Marilee Fiebig with married "GMA" producer Natasha Singh starting in 2016.

"Amy was the person they went to talk to about their affair and marriages," a so-called insider tells Page Six. However, another source denies that Amy was their confidante and claims, "She didn't know about the affair until it was in its final stages. They told her about it right at the end."

Meanwhile, Amy and T.J. continue working together despite their affair scandal. On Friday, December 2, when co-hosting "GMA3", they appeared to poke fun at their affair expose. When T.J. jokingly said it's a "great week," Amy asked, "Is it?"

"I just want this one to keep going and going and going. Just enjoying it," T.J. added. However, when he advised Amy to "take it all in," the "20/20" co-anchor replied, "Speak for yourself."

On the same day, Amy was spotted moving out of her New York City home in the West Village, though the move was reportedly "scheduled before [the alleged affair was exposed]." A source tells Page Six, "She sold the apartment in September, and, ironically, this was her moving day."

Kylie Cantrall, 17, and Malia Baker, 15, are back as Red and Chloe for the new film, which is said to be slated for shooting in early 2023.

In order to prevent an impending coup, they must join forces to travel back in time, via a magical pocket watch created by the Mad Hatter's son, to stop an event that would lead to grave consequences."

Filmmaker Jennifer Phan is set to direct and co-executive produce the Disney+ original film, with the script written by Dan Frey and Russell Sommer, while production designer Mark Hofeling who also worked on "Descendants" will come back in the same position for the new project.

Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, said, "With a captivating script and Jennifer Phang's directorial vision, we're setting a new high bar of creativity and imagination, with a movie that ups the ante on story, song and dance to entertain young viewers, their families, and the global fan base that grew up with the aspirational story of 'Descendants'. We join them in anticipation as we prepare to deliver a great new entertainment experience to Disney+."

'Breakfast Club' stars Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy reunite for dinner nearly 38 years after film's release

Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy are swapping detention for dinner. The two actresses famously starred in the John Hughes teen classic The Breakfast Club. Nearly 38 years after the film's Feb. 1985 debut, the former Brat Packers caught up for a reunion Ringwald's calling an "early Christmas present."

On Sunday Ringwald, 54, shared a photo of her and her "psychic sister Ally" hugging for the camera while dining at New York City's Cafe Luxembourg.

The reunion drew delighted comments from Ringwald's followers, including musicians Cat Powers and Susannah Hoffs of the Bangles.

"Squeal!!!!!!!" wrote My Big Fat Greek Wedding star Nia Vardalos, while many fans called for a Breakfast Club sequel.

"My Gen X heart just skipped a beat!" read another comment. "This is just so good to see!"

Sheedy, 60, and Ringwald have made a few appearances alongside their former co-stars in the decades since their film was released. In 2005, the actresses — who played misfit Allison and "princess" Claire, respectively, in the detention drama — joined Anthony Michael Hall (Brian) and Paul Gleason (Vice Principal Vernon) at the MTV Movie Awards. Five years later, at the 2010 Oscars, they paid tribute to their late director John Hughes alongside Hall and Judd Nelson (Bender). Sheedy and Ringwald also appeared at SXSW in 2015 in honor of the film's 30th anniversary.
