Beyoncé for Vogue UK - December 2020!

Beyoncé has opened up about life amid the pandemic and her decision to focus on her joy in a new interview as the cover star for British Vogue’s December 2020 issue.

For the issue’s three separate covers, the singer was photographed by 21-year-old Kennedi Carter - the youngest photographer to shoot a British Vogue cover in the magazine’s 104-year history.

On one of the covers, the 39-year-old is dressed in a lime green Ivy Park catsuit and bucket hat from her Drip 2 collection with Adidas, which was released Thursday, while another cover sees Beyoncé wearing a sheer black Mugler bodysuit.

For the third cover, the Lion King star donned a black and red ruffled Alexander McQueen jacket, paired with Atsuko Kudo Couture Latex pants.

“It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed,” she said. “I have learnt that my voice is clearer when I am still. I truly cherish this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and shed stressful things from my life.

“I came into the music industry at 15 years old and grew up with the world watching, and I have put out projects non-stop. I released Lemonade during the Formation world tour, gave birth to twins, performed at Coachella, directed Homecoming, went on another world tour with Jay, then [directed film] Black Is King, all back to back. It’s been heavy and hectic.

“I’ve spent a lot of time focusing on building my legacy and representing my culture the best way I know how. Now, I’ve decided to give myself permission to focus on my joy."

The mother-of-three, who shares children Blue Ivy, eight, and twins Rumi and Sir, three, with Jay Z, also discussed the impact of motherhood, and how it inspired her to focus on Black and African voices.

“Something cracked open inside of me right after giving birth to my first daughter. From that point on, I truly understood my power, and motherhood has been my biggest inspiration,” she told Enninful of Blue Ivy’s birth in 2012. "It became my mission to make sure she lived in a world where she feels truly seen and valued.”

The birth of Beyoncé’s son Sir also sparked a change in the singer, who explained: “I felt it was important to uplift and praise our boys, and to assure that they grow up with enough films, children’s books and music that promote emotional intelligence, self-value and our rich history.”

Of the opportunity to interview the Halo singer, Enninful wrote: “Everyone always wants to know what it’s like to work with Beyoncé and her incredible team, and the answer is: flawless. A perfectionist to the core, more than anything she wanted her British Vogue moment to be filled with positivity as this trickiest of years draws to a close.”

The magazine’s December issue will be on newsstands 6 November.

#RHOA: For Her Birthday Phaedra Parks Is Giving You Golden Goddess Realness!

It wouldn't be "another amazing trip around the sun" for Phaedra Parks if she didn't fete her most recent birthday with a whole lot of glitter and gold. The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom-of-two celebrated her birthday on October 28 and, naturally, she found the best, blingy frock for the event.

"#Cheers to another amazing trip around the sun," Phaedra mused on Instagram alongside a few adorable snaps from her over-the-top birthday festivities. In the pics, Phaedra is all smiles as she approached her towering, pink, white, and silver cake that included flirty, pink flowers and a sparkling tiara (we would expect nothing less). The lavish night of dinner and decadent decor took place at Nouveau Bar and Grill where she decked out the rooftop in fuchsia balloons and gleaming candelabras.

Never one to be outshined, Phaedra wore a low-cut, gold, sequin and beaded dress with a sleek, embellished, metal belt to flaunt her snatched waist and matched her chandelier earrings. Phaedra's honey-blonde hair featured side-swept layers and luxe waves. The RHOA alum brought bronze touches to her beauty look with a copper lip color and golden cheek.

Sean Connery and His Son Jason Smile Together in One of Late Actor's Last Family Photos!

Sean Connery was surrounded by the love of his family members until his death.

The late actor died on Saturday in his sleep while staying in the Bahamas. A cause of death was not given. "His wife Micheline and his two sons, Jason and Stephane have confirmed that he died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family," a rep for the actor told PEOPLE. "There will be a private ceremony followed by a memorial yet to be planned once the virus has ended."

His son Jason, 57, confirmed his father's death to the BBC, saying the James Bond icon was "unwell for some time."

"We are all working at understanding this huge event as it only happened so recently, even though my dad has been unwell for some time," Jason said. "A sad day for all who knew and loved my dad and a sad loss for all people around the world who enjoyed the wonderful gift he had as an actor."

Back in August 2019, on Connery's 89th birthday, Jason's longtime partner Fiona Ufton shared a heartwarming photo of Jason and his beloved father. In the image, which is the most recent photo of Connery on social media, the screen legend playfully looks away from the camera with a slight smile as he points in the air with his index finger.

Connery was married twice — first to Australian actress Diane Cilento, whom he divorced in 1973. Cilento, who died of cancer at age 78 in 2011, shared son Jason with Connery. Then, Connery wed French-Moroccan artist Micheline Roquebrune, who had three children from previous marriages, Oliver, Micha, and Stephane, all of whom became Connery's stepchildren.

In 2011, Connery announced he was retiring from making movies and largely stayed out of the public eye after that, spending time in New York City where he was occasionally spotted strolling around with Roquebrune.

But in 2014, Connery briefly came out of retirement to voice a character in the animated film Guardian of the Highlands.

Before he retired from Hollywood, the Oscar winner, who was named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in 1989 at the age of 59, starred in seven James Bond films beginning with 1962's Dr. No and blazed through a celebrated three-decade streak as 007 that would culminate in 1983's Never Say Never Again, setting the gold standard for others seeking to don 007’s sharp tuxedo.

In a career that spanned six decades — from his early days in TV to a full-blown run as Hollywood leading man — Connery would showcase his versatility as an actor, moving between prestige fare (TV adaptations of Anna Karenina and Macbeth), retellings of classics (Robin and Marian) and thrillers (Highlander, Rising Sun).

Outside of his Bond films, the Scotsman is most fondly remembered for two roles: as Indiana Jones’ testy, persnickety father in 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and as the doomed Irish cop Jimmy Malone in 1987’s gangster epic The Untouchables.

Connery's The Untouchables costar Kevin Costner mourned the late star's death on Saturday.

"I, like the rest of the world, was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sean Connery this morning. Sean was a crafted actor who was enormously proud of his body of work, particularly his work on stage. And although he was a very no-nonsense person, he was incredibly inclusive with me professionally and personally. He was the biggest star that I ever worked with and I will be forever grateful to be linked with him on film. Sean Connery was a man’s man who had an amazing career," Costner said in a statement

Gospel Music Giant,And Former Stax Records Star Bishop Rance Allen Dead At 71!

Gospel musician and Stax Records artist Rance Allen has died. The 71-year-old leader of The Rance Allen Group, who had become a bishop in the Church of God in Christ, died Saturday morning at his home in Toledo, Ohio.

An eight-time Grammy nominee, Allen had grown up in the shadow of Motown, recorded for Stax and been influenced by Chuck Berry, but his songs were always a deeply profound and fervent expression of his religious faith.

"It's music, it’s truth, it's the anointing of God, it's an exciting thing, and you can hear it," Allen noted of his work in a 2011 interview with The Commercial Appeal.

In a statement on his passing, COGIC adjutant general Bishop Robert G. Randolph Jr. said, “Bishop Allen’s unique vocal ministry was an indispensable sound within the Church of God in Christ and Christendom. His gift transcended the boundaries of musical genre.”

A native of Monroe, Michigan, Allen had long been a fan of Berry Gordy’s Motown label. “As far as I was concerned, there was nothing that compared to Motown — until the Rance Allen Group went and tried to get on the label and there was no place for us,” Allen said. “Then we went to Stax, and there was no place for us there either really, but they made a place.”

In the early '70s Stax would launch a spiritual imprint, The Gospel Truth, in part to give Allen’s voice a platform. “Rance Allen may not have had the name recognition of some other Stax Records stars, but he certainly had one of the most powerful voices in the music industry,” said Tim Sampson, communications director with Stax’s Soulsville Foundation.

“During the Stax Museum's Soul Comes Home grand opening concert in 2003, not only did he get a standing ovation from the crowd at the Orpheum Theatre, but he also was the only artist who got a standing ovation from the other Stax legends backstage,” added Sampson. “He also visited the Stax Music Academy on several occasions and the students were in awe. We will miss Rance and our thoughts are with his family, the members of the Rance Allen Group, his fans and his parishioners."

Allen's public career actually started years before he signed to Stax. As a grade schooler he was prowling the pulpit as a child preacher. “It was preaching first, then singing, then picking up the instruments," recalled Allen. “I was maybe 9 or 10 years old when I picked up the piano. From there it went to guitar and drums and everything else I could get my hands on.”

Allen led a family band — featuring his brothers Tom on drums, Steve on bass and later Esau on percussion — that became a show-stopping act on the gospel circuit.

"Most (religious) artists think entertaining doesn't have anything to do with gospel music," Allen said. "But my grandmother, she wanted us to learn how to entertain. She'd say, ‘If people don't see you're enjoying your stuff, they're not going to enjoy you. Entertain, perform, make folks laugh, make 'em cry. You gotta to be able work the area of emotion.' We always took that advice to heart."

Although Allen was influenced by gospel heavyweights like James Cleveland, his ringing guitar style and finely etched songs bore the marks of rock-and-roller Chuck Berry. “At that time in my life, Chuck Berry was like a superhuman, superhero the way he played guitar,” said Allen. "And while I was concentrating on gospel, I was very much interested in the secular world of music too.”

By the early '70s, after releasing a single on the tiny Reflect label, Allen and his group were primed and ready to break nationally. Naturally, they headed to nearby Detroit to try to land a contract with Michigan music institution Motown.

"We tried to go to Motown, but Motown didn't do gospel at all," recalls Allen. "The next step was to go to Stax Records, and they didn't do gospel at the time either. But [Stax label heads] Jim Stewart and Al Bell liked what they heard, and so they called my manager to tell him they were interested — and interested to the point of trying to possibly come up with a new way to get this record out."

That new way was the formation of The Gospel Truth Records, which would become a spiritual arm for the soul label that would go on to release albums by Rev. Maceo Woods, Louise McCord, 21st Century, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s People’s Choir of Operation Push.

"It was a first for Stax, and we were the first ones to record on that label," said Allen. "There's no way we would've gotten the first record out had it not been for Stax having that kind of faith in us. When you got a record company that will say we believe so much in this artist that we will create a label for them. Well, I'm forever grateful for that."

After signing to Stax, the Allen Group would eventually come to Memphis to record, absorbing the city's musicians and players.

"That was a mega, mega step for us. We started studying the musicians down there: people like Duck Dunn and Al Jackson and Bobby Manuel, Lester Snell. We were just amazed by the way they were able to play. We basically went to school on them," said Allen. "That's the reason why, even today, all these many years later, when you listen to our music, you hear the real rich Stax flavor in there."

In 1989, Allen moved to Toledo, Ohio, where he began preaching at the New Bethel Church of God in Christ. In between his ministry, Allen would remain a stalwart presence on the gospel circuit and continued to record and perform.

A frequent visitor to Memphis and Soulsville, he appeared at the Stax 50th anniversary concert in 2007 and visited the Stax Museum and Music Academy numerous times over the past decade.

Allen’s early-‘70s output had actually been given a renewed focus in recent weeks, as Craft Recordings released “The Gospel Truth: Complete Singles Collection,” a retrospective chronicling the Stax imprint that Allen helped usher into existence.

According to COGIC officials, a private memorial service will be held for Allen this week.

What are your thoughts on Lil Nas X’s costume?

Mel B requesting more child support from Eddie Murphy!

Mel B is requesting more child support from Eddie Murphy after her income was "dramatically reduced" due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Melanie Brown wearing a blue shirt: Mel B© Bang Showbiz Mel B

The Spice Girls star has 13-year-old daughter Angel with the comedian and she has filed new documents, asking for Eddie to hand over his financial papers so the court can ascertain if any more child support can be paid to Mel for the upkeep of Angel.

Court documents, obtained by Us Weekly magazine, read: "Eddie and Melanie have both established careers in the entertainment industry. Melanie is a singer, songwriter and television personality. Eddie is a legendary comedian and actor. Until recently, Melanie has been fortunate in her career to sustain a comfortable lifestyle for herself and Angel."Unfortunately, Melanie’s income has dramatically reduced, such that she must consider modifying child support for the first time. Melanie has made numerous efforts to resolve this case without court intervention without any success … Melanie was left with no choice but to file this."

It is believed the last changes were made in 2009, where Eddie was reportedly asked to pay $25,000 a month in child support, as well as paying for her health insurance.

Meanwhile, Mel - who also has Phoenix, 21, and Madison, nine, from previous relationships - insisted she has never said a "bad word" to her three daughters about their fathers.

Speaking in 2019, she said: "My oldest [Phoenix] is 19, so I had to do every other weekend and certain weekdays for 18 years. I've never said a bad word about any of their fathers to my daughters. Angel sees her dad [Eddie Murphy] on a regular basis."One thing I do with all three of my girls is make sure they know that they're loved, and that they came from a place of a loving relationship. I always make it a very exciting thing when I send them off to their fathers. Angel is different, because me and her dad don't have any problems with each other. With Madison [whose dad is Stephen Belafonte] they take everything in, so I try to make it exciting for her, even though I have huge issues with her father."

Jeannie Mai Says She & Jeezy Will Have 2 Weddings!

Jeannie Mai isn’t going to have a typical wedding. When it’s time for her wedding to rapper Jeezy, she is walking down the aisle not once, but twice.

During an interview with Access Hollywood, Mai said she is having two weddings in order to have a traditional Vietnamese wedding, which is something her mother really wants.

“My mom being Vietnamese wants a very Vietnamese traditional wedding. She wants Jay, my fiancé, to wear the Vietnamese garb and to do some of the Vietnamese practices like the tea ceremony.”

The second ceremony will comprise of everything that she and her future husband want their wedding day to be.

“I obviously want a fun throwdown with pizza afterward. I want to have a couple of Dancing With The Stars dances in our reception,” she added. “So we’ve decided that we’re gonna have two weddings. We’re gonna have one the way me and Jay want and then we’ll have one for Mama Mai, just cause if we don’t we’re gonna hear it for the rest of our lives.”

Mai said she also plans on having some wardrobe changes throughout her two ceremonies.

“I’m a fashion girl so this is my chance to go out there and have fun. Jay loves fashion too, so I’m sure no only will there be wedding dresses, we’re gonna have the after-party outfit, the after hours outfits. We want to really have fun with this because this is our big day.”

Mai also made headlines regarding her upcoming marriage recently after her comments about wanting to submit to Jeezy once she becomes his wife.

“I want to submit to my man,” she said during an episode of The Real. “When I hear this definition…submitting has a negative connotation. It means that you are less important, you are lower than that person that you’re submitting to. It usually can be like, you know, referenced as somebody who works lower than you, and that’s not what I’m referring to here.”

She added that since she is such a “dominant woman” who has owned her own business and her a one-woman crew, she likes the idea of letting a man lead outside of her career.

“So, I make the decisions in my life,” Mai added. “When I come home, I like the idea that my man leads us.”

Kyle Rittenhouse Ordered To Be Extradited To Wisconsin For Kenosha Shooting!

17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse is ordered back to Wisconsin, where he will face two homicide charges.

On August 25, Rittenhouse shot and killed two protesters during a protest for 29-year-old Jacob Blake, who was shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Before the order, Rittenhouse and his defense team fought for his release and his self-defense claim, but Lake County Circuit Court Paul Novak denied those requests before saying the case must be heard in Wisconsin.

Hours before the issue of the order, Rittenhouse’s defense team argued for his release during a hearing. It’s unclear why they did not bring forth witnesses to the incident, although they mentioned that Rittenhouse’s mother and four experts might go to the stand, the New York Post reports.

Following the ruling, the minor was taken to the Wisconsin border and handed over to Kenosha authorities, the Chicago Tribune reported.

“While we have great respect for Judge Novak, we obviously and strongly disagree with today’s decision,” Pierce wrote in a tweet. His attorneys still claim self-defense.

“We will be filing his notice of appeal immediately and pursuing Kyle’s righteous cause with swiftness and vigor in the Illinois Court of Appeal. We will never surrender. Kyle will be set free and cleared of all charges,” Pierce added.

Another tweet, by the defense attorney, added that his client “is grateful to you all and asks for your continued prayers. God Bless Kyle Rittenhouse and the USA.”

Wisconsin prosecutors charged Rittenhouse with six criminal counts; first-degree intentional homicide and attempted homicide – those charges are for the deaths of two Black Lives Matter protesters as well as a third person who was injured.

Keke Palmer Post Pic Kissing A Mystery White Man and Twitter Goes Crazy!

Always candid about her life, actress Keke Palmer uploaded a video to Twitter today that showed her kissing a white man.

Sparking lots of conversations on social media, she added this caption to the video: “Rare footage of me in the process of becoming randomly suspicious of someone I trust because I struggle with distinguishing reality from my crippling anxiety and emotional trauma.”

Opening up about her vulnerability and mental health struggles incited fans to crack jokes instead of offering words of sympathy. Many were bothered by the fact that Palmer was kissing a white guy, and responded with ridicule and mean-spirited humor.

Being a good sport, Palmer responded to some of the commenters, noting how funny their remarks were. Many fans, however, came to the actress’s defense.

This isn’t the first time that the outspoken actress, singer, and TV personality showed footage of herself engaged in an intimate moment. Back in 2015, a Snapchat video revealed her locking lips with entertainer, Cassie, sparking rumors about her sexuality. When asked by Hot 97 host, Nessa, if she would date a girl, Palmer said: “Absolutely. Where love is, that’s where I’m going.”

Palmer has been frank about the trials and tribulations she has faced in her personal life throughout the years, and she has never been shy about sharing her viewpoints, no matter how controversial. Additionally, she has named male celebrities she felt had engaged in sexism and misogyny or some form of wrongdoing that targeted women.

Palmer accused singer Trey Songz of using sexual intimidation to feature her in a video. Songz denied the accusation. Recently, she blasted Tory Lanez in a lengthy post on Instagram and accused him of “insensitive,” “narcissistic,” and “toxic behavior” after the release of his new album that was full of lyrics that refuted Megan Thee Stallion’s claim that he shot her in the foot in July.

There are rumors that the unidentified white male in her Twitter post today is her boyfriend, but Palmer has not confirmed the rumors.\

Rihanna Returns to NoMad Hotel in L.A., Where 'Set' Rules Can Be Seen!

Is Rihanna continuing work on the alleged music video that she has in the works?

The 32-year-old singer was seen in a fur coat while arriving at the NoMad Hotel on Saturday (October 31) in downtown Los Angeles.

Rihanna was seen leaving the same location on late Thursday night after reportedly spending 11 hours on set, for what some people believe could be a new music video.

When Rihanna arrived at the hotel on Saturday, a sign outside the front door could be seen showing the “set rules” for COVID-19 safety. The sign does not appear to be a standard one for the venue as it references safety rules for a production site.
