#RHOA: Kenya Moore And Baby Brooklyn Do Shoot For Moore’s Hair Care Line!
RHOA star Kenya Moore and her baby girl, Brooklyn Daly, are photo shoot ready. The mother-daughter pair recently shot an ad campaign for Moore’s hair care line.
“Great shoot today with @imerickrobinson. New ad campaign coming soon,” Kenya shared this week on Instagram.

The entrepreneur also shared a behind-the-scenes video of her and Brooklyn with the caption,”My life began the moment this #angel blessed my life. No matter what challenges I may face, when she is by my side I can conquer the world.”
Kenya Moore Hair Care is designed to grow your real hair longer, stronger, and thicker in just one use! The line is also safe to use on children.
“@KenyaMooreHairCare is sulfate free, Silicone free, no mineral oil, no phosphates , no alcohol, nothing that damages your hair,” Kenya has said. “Our sole focus is to get your hair healthy and strong so that is shows the growth!”
Moore credits her hair care line for her own super healthy and thick mane. The RHOA star has said that she wants to inspire women to wear their own natural locks.
“We love a wig. We love a weave…and all that stuff. But it shouldn’t be a necessity. It should just be an accessory, if that’s what you want. We want to be empowered to have a choice. If you want to rock your own hair, rock your own hair. But you shouldn’t wear weaves and stuff because you’re ashamed of your hair. It should just be a choice, not a requirement,” she told Essence in 2017.

“I’ve always had this passion for hair care. It came from my grandmother who raised me,” Moore added. “And she would always say, ‘hair is your crowning glory.’ So that kind of just stuck with me and she would always make sure we took pride in our appearance and presentation.”

#NewMusic from Gregory Porter ‘Revival’!
When Gregory Porter announced a 2020 co-headlining tour with Ledisi, we purchased tickets without hesitation. Anyone who's heard the incredible singer in concert knows that he puts on an unforgettable show. But now we have another reason to shout, as he just announced that his sixth studio album, All Rise, will premiere on April 17th. In anticipation of the new project – which boasts a handpicked horn section, a 10-member choir and the London Symphony Orchestra Strings – Porter has released a powerful lead single entitled "Revival," along with incisive visuals. The uplifting anthem, co-written with All Rise producer Troy Miller, is a perfect soundtrack for those that want to make positive changes in the new year. Porter embraces his church roots (his mother was a minister) and delivers a rousing gospel tune.

But the song isn't just for the saints, as he explains, "It’s both heavenly and earthly. You don’t have to be a believer to understand revival and renewal, starting all over again afresh. For me, it’s the message of walking into this life and having some fear and some self-doubt, and at the point that you grab onto something that you know is real, the truth. Once you can grab onto the truth then this fearlessness comes.

WATCH
"Directed by Douglas Bernardt, the striking video follows a young man (played by dancer Jemoni Powe) as he transitions from feelings of fear and doubt – depicted as he literally shrinks after watching footage of the L.A. Riots – to become courageous and emboldened as his sense of self-worth allows him to grow, literally and figuratively. Porter hones in on the visual message, saying, "There are so many things in life that can get you down and make you feel small, whether it be racism, self-doubt, insecurity or financial situations. It’s about finding your source of strength to bring you back to seeing who you truly are so that you can be restored to the giant that you are."

#HipHopNews: Megan Thee Stallion Announces New Single ‘B.I.T.C.H’!
Megan Thee Stallion has announced that her new single “B.I.T.C.H” is set to drop Friday, Jan. 24. Taking to Instagram, the Houston hottie revealed the cover art, which features a barking Doberman.
The song, which she recently previewed on Instagram, samples Tupac Shakur’s “Ratha Be Ya Ni**a” from All Eyez on Me. “Why you wanna play with me? / You know I’m undefeated,” raps Meg in the clip, which was filmed during her vacation to Mexico. “A real hot girl know how to keep a ni**a heated.”

Megan has been locked in the studio with Pharrell for the past week working on her highly-anticipated debut album, which will introduce her newest alter ego Suga. “My next project I will be introducing a new lady. Her name is Suga. She’s besties with Tina Snow,” she told NPR last year.
“I felt like my mixtapes were me flirting with my fans,” added Meg. “I never wanted to do an album ’cause I was like, ‘Oh, that feel like marriage. That’s a commitment.’ But now, I’m ready to settle down with an album.”

Last week, she teamed up with Normani on “Diamonds”” off the upcoming Birds of Prey soundtrack. She will perform for the first time at Coachella in April.

Britain's Harry and Meghan will no longer be working members of royal family!
LONDON, Jan 18 (Reuters) - Prince Harry and his wife Meghan will no longer be working members of Britain's monarchy, will forgo public funds and will repay money spent on refurbishing their cottage west of London as they embark on an independent future, Buckingham Palace said on Saturday.
The couple will also no longer use their "Royal Highness" titles, the palace said in an announcement that sought to bring to an end turmoil in the monarchy sparked earlier this month when the couple announced they wanted to reduce their royal duties and spend more time in North America.

In recent days, the queen and her family have been working out with officials how this stepping back will work in practice for Harry, 35, and his American wife, former actress Meghan, 38.

"Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved members of my family," Queen Elizabeth said in a statement issued by the palace, referring to the couple's baby son.
"I recognize the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life."
The queen added that she was "particularly proud" of how quickly Meghan became one of the family. The couple married in May 2018 in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Harry will remain a prince and the couple will keep their titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The couple's plans for independence, announced after a long break over the Christmas period in Canada, caught the rest of the royal family by surprise earlier this month and left the queen and other senior Windsors hurt and disappointed, according to royal sources.
A friend of Harry and Meghan said the couple felt they had been driven out.
The palace said the couple will no longer receive public funds and they will repay money spent on the refurbishment of their cottage at Windsor, west of London.
"Although they can no longer formally represent the queen, the Sussexes have made clear that everything they do will continue to uphold the values of her majesty," a Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said.
"The Sussexes will not use their HRH title as they are no longer working members of the royal family.

FUNDS
The change means Harry will give up his military patronages and his role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.
It was not immediately clear whether the couple could continue to use the "Sussex Royal" title for their website and branding.
While they will no longer receive public funding, Harry's father Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, will continue to offer private financial support, a royal source said.
The couple will split their time between Britain and North America, with the majority of their time in North America, the source said.

The changes will come into effect in the spring of this year, the palace said.

Rihanna Spotted With A$AP Rocky After Hassan Jameel Split!
Rihanna was spotted with a familiar face following news of her split from Hassan Jameel: A$AP Rocky.
The two were photographed laughing together backstage at the 2020 Yams Day Benefit Concert, honoring the member of A$AP Yams, in New York City on Friday. They have not commented.

Also spotted at the show: Rihanna's other ex-boyfriend, rapper Drake. Earlier that day, Drake posted on his Instagram Story a photo of him and Rocky walking together. Rocky shared a video of a custom chain of late friend Yams. Drake reposted the clip.
The concert took place hours after E! News learned that Rihanna and Jameel, a Saudi businessman, had broken up after dating for more than two years.
Rihanna and Rocky have sparked romance rumors together several times over the years. They famously showed PDA in his 2013 music video "Fashion Killa" and sparked romance rumors when they reportedly were spotted kissing on the set when the cameras weren't rolling.
The two later sparked romance rumors again in 2018 and this past December, when Rihanna was reportedly spotted at Rocky's concert in Sweden.

Celine Dion Appears On Stage Hours After Her Mom's Death, Gives Beautiful Tribute!
Celine Dion is currently on her Courage World Tour and she showed off a lot of courage during her latest show.
The 51-year-old singer performed just hours after her mom’s death on Friday night (January 17) at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fla.
“I’m pretty sure that you heard the news about my mom passing away early this morning,” Celine told the crowd. “But I’m doing okay.”
“My mom was 92. She was ill for quite a while. And we knew she wouldn’t be with us long. Two days ago, we got a call from the nurses who were taking care of her so well, saying that her time was coming soon. Very soon. So last night, I joined my brothers and sisters in Montreal and I spent the evening at her bedside,” she added. “We told stories. We sang songs. We hugged each other. And we said our goodbyes. We are pretty sure that mom waited for us to be all together before [she passed].”

Celine will be touring around North America through April 27.

Tommy Davidson Says Jamie Foxx Was “Competitive” & “Mercilessly Mean” to Him in Upcoming Memoir!
Comedian and actor Tommy Davidson is set to release his memoir, Living In Color, later this month. An excerpt from the book reveals Davidson has had a strained relationship with Jamie Foxx since the moment they met.

Davidson and Foxx first worked together in 1991 when Foxx joined the sketch series, In Living Color, which Davidson starred on from the first season.
In the memoir, Davidson writes that things started to go left while the two filmed a sketch featuring Foxx’s would-be-famous character, Wanda.
Davidson was lying on his stomach while “Wanda” gave him a massage. However, Foxx began to improvise by pulling Davidson’s underwear, trying to pull them off and leave the actor naked.

Davidson says the newcomer (Foxx) was lucky because his first reaction was to “bust him in his mouth, saying, ‘What the f**k, motherf**ka!'” Davidson believed Foxx was trying to get cheap laughs at his expense.
Foxx continued to make Davidson the butt of his jokes when he realized he could score some points with creator Kenan Ivory Wayans by doing so.
Their next professional encounter occurred on the set of the 1997 film, Booty Call, which they both co-starred in. Davidson says Foxx didn’t understand the concept of “supporting actor” and “was determined to steal every scene he could.”

The two played a game of one-on-one, which included a bunch of trash-talking from Foxx. When the future Oscar winner was losing 9-0, he charged at Davidson.
“If I had hit my head on the hardtop concrete, that would have been the end of me,” he writes. “I was ready to give Jamie some street-fighting lessons too, but the crew pulled us off each other and held me back.”
The Proud Family star admits that Foxx is “talented,” but laments that his style of humor was too “competitive” and “mercilessly mean.”
He added: “Maybe [Foxx is] a better person now. I would like to believe he is.”
Not to diminish any of Davidson’s experiences with Foxx, but this sort of feels like a case of sour grapes, especially since they have been photographed together throughout the years looking quite chummy.

In any case, Living in Color will be released on January 28th.

Beyonce Lands Deal With Sony/ATV Music Publishing!
According to Variety, the songstress and entrepreneur has inked a deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. It’s the largest music publishing company in the world, and houses hits from artists like Frank Sinatra, Taylor Swift and The Beatles.

The move comes shortly after Rihanna made her way to Sony a few months ago amid Jon Platt becoming Sony Music’s chairman and CEO last year.
Jay-Z has never been one to shy away from saluting Jon Platt either. He’s called him his “brother” and dubbed him
“the Obama of the music industry.”
Jay-Z added as Jon Platt was honored at the yearly City of Hope Spirit of Life dinner in October 2018,
“This man has worked his way up from a Denver DJ to be the highest-ranking black executive.”
Beyonce also hit the stage that night and told Jon Platt,

“I’m so honored to celebrate you tonight. Most people in this industry lead with their ego, but you lead with your heart. You’ve touched so many lives, mine included.”
Platt also said of Beyonce at the event:

“I was reminded even when you’re the biggest talent in world, it still comes down to hard work. She leads by example. She shows all of us how to dream big.”

Watchmen Season 2 is unlikely, says HBO As Creator walks away from Show!
It appears a Season 2 for HBO’s Watchmen won’t be arriving anytime soon, if ever.
As reported by Uproxx, HBO programming chief Casey Bloys explained during this week’s Television Critics Association press tour that another season of the comic book adaptation would depend on the involvement of showrunner Damon Lindelof.

“It’s really in Damon’s thinking about what he wants to do,” said Bloys. “If there’s an idea that excited him about another season, another installment, maybe like a Fargo, True Detective [anthology] take on it, or if he wants to do something different altogether. We’re very proud of Watchmen, but what I’m most interested in is what Damon wants to do.”
It’s well-known that the chances of Lindelof wanting to do that are low. After the show’s successful first season, the creator was vocal about feeling he’d told the full story, and gave no indication of returning for a second go. Following Bloys recent comments, Lindoff doubled down on his disinterest, but gave his blessing for the show to continue without him.

In response, Bloys stated, “It would be hard to imagine doing it without Damon involved in some way.”

Even if it the show is done, it leaves viewers with one solid season, along with a strong three-part soundtrack from Nine Inch Nails bandmates Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. One person who might be happy about the show’s likely end is Watchmen comic creator Alan Moore, who’s been very vocal about his distaste for superhero adaptations.

Ayanna Pressley, Democratic Representative, Says She Has Alopecia and Reveals Beautiful Bald Head!
Representative Ayanna Pressley, Democrat of Massachusetts, revealed on Thursday that she has been silently struggling with a condition that disproportionally affects Black women and as many as 6.8 million people in the United States: alopecia areata.

The autoimmune disease causes hair loss throughout various regions of the body, and in many cases, leads to baldness. And while more than 147 million people around the world are living with the skin condition, Pressley revealed to The Root, that it hasn’t been easy being one of them.
For Pressley, the onset of the condition came with shame and a loss of her identity, but in a heart-touching video, the congresswoman says she is finally ready to make peace. “I’m trying to find my way here. And I do believe going public will help,” said Pressley.

“This is my official public revealing. I’m ready now because I want to be freed from the secret and the shame that that secret carries with it,” she shared. “I am making peace with having alopecia. I have not arrived there. I’m very early in my alopecia journey. But I am making progress every day, and that’s why I am doing this today.”
Pressley has received an outpouring of support for her bold beauty move and praise for her beautiful bald head.
“Stunning. Courageous. A beacon for little Black girls everywhere living with alopecia who don’t see themselves reflected in the world. Bravo,” reads one comment under a new Instagram photo that shows off Pressley’s glorious crown.
Pressley captioned the post “However you show up in the world, you are beautiful, and you are enough,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Tisha Campbell Responds To Martin Lawrence’s Remarks About Past Sexual Harassment Suit “We’re In A Good Place Right Now”!
Tisha Campbell responded to recent comments made by former “Martin” co-star Martin Lawrence, in which, he dismissed her alleged sexual harassment claims from 1997.
In a recent interview with GQ, Lawrence said, “It was all a lot of bullshit and, just whoever’s side it was, it was bullshit,” he said, adding that the two never spoke about the lawsuit. “We don’t need to talk about something that just didn’t happen.”
Thursday on ‘The Talk,’ Campbell said she was shocked by her former co-star’s comments. “I can’t go into much detail about the past because there was a confidentiality agreement, so the gag order says no,” she began. “But what I can say is…I was actually kind of shocked.”

But, Campbell added after Martin’s interview with GQ magazine, “I hit him [Lawrence] up. He called me within a minute… He was like, ‘Don’t read into what it is, there’s a lot of people that’s trying to bring up the past, and trying to make it news today. But, you know T, we’re good. I love you. I love your family.'”
Getting emotional, she shared, “Again, I’m not going to go into details, because I want to respect his privacy, and I want to respect mine. But I will say, by the end of it, it was nothing but laughter and healing. And I got a chance to experience that. And I’m so glad that we’re in a good place right now.”

Lawrence reassured that all is well between the two with a public declaration on Instagram the same day as Campbell’s interview, posting in a caption, “Regardless of the past or any misrepresentation of it in the press, I have nothin [sic] but love for Tisha then and now. We are good and always will be!” He ended it using the hashtags, #teammartymar, and #yougogirl.”
Campbell replied to the post in a comment stating, “YOU GO BOY My fam fo life!”

Adele Will Release New Music In 2020!
Adele is returning with new music this year! The Grammy-winning recording artist will finally be delivering new material following the release of her widely-acclaimed album, 25, the Daily Mail learned via reports from Music Week. Both Adele’s agent and manager, Lucy and Jonathan Dickins, reportedly confirmed the news on Saturday (January 18), with Jonathan alluding to Music Week that the next era of Adele was approaching fast. “The sooner the better,” he teased.
It was previously speculated that Adele was plotting her comeback in October 2019 after a cryptic tweet seemed to hint at her return. “@Adele will release her NEW ALBUM on Nov 8th 2019, according to Showbiz! This means that her lead single will drop as soon as next week,” Music News Facts reported at the time, which turned out to be false after all.

The 31-year-old’s last album released in November 2015, spawning singles like, “Send My Love,” “Water Under the Bridge,” and “When We Were Younger.”
Speculations of Adele’s long-awaited comeback have been swirling since the superstar split with her husband of three years, Simon Konecki, in April 2019. The couple, who co-parent their 7-year-old son, Angelo, proceeded with their divorce filings later that year.

As for the tone of the vocalist’s next record, it’s been rumored she’ll be reflecting on her recent trials. Last September, it was speculated Adele already had an “upbeat” breakup record in the chamber, with more in the works. "She is definitely getting ready both mentally and physically to promote new music. It seems it will happen later this year," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "She talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she's said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy. You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans."
