On how the death of her father when she was a child changed her: “Someone once told me that whatever age a parent dies, as you barrel towards it you go, ‘Have I achieved enough?’” (Her father died when he was 40, Negga is now 36). “I think your sense of time gets warped because you realise, especially if you’ve lost a parent early on, that it’s not infinite. Things die and things go away.”
On being the only black child at school: “You’re outside of something which gives you a unique perspective. You become very observant and sensitive to people’s mood shifts. You see people assessing you. That’s really intriguing. You learn to shapeshift. If that’s a positive or negative, I’m not sure. It’s about survival.”

#RHoA: Kenya Moore Breaks Down Over 'Pressure' of Marriage in Public Eye: 'I Don't Wanna Get Divorced'
Kenya Moore has worked hard to keep her relationship with husband Marc Daly away from the public eye, even hiding his name in the days following their June elopement in St. Lucia.
And on Sunday’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, fans got to understand just how important their privacy was for Moore as the former Miss USA broke down in tears crying over the pressures she and Daly had been under since PEOPLE broke news of their secret “I dos” exclusively.
“This is really just f—— with him,” Moore told her producer Joye, in tears, of Daly. “He can’t even sleep, he’s not eating. He’s got ex-girlfriends sending him things about me from 25 years ago [about] some famous guy I dated. Like, what does it have to do with now?”
“They don’t know me and everybody said he fought his mother and everybody for me,” Moore continued. “This pressure is too much. It’s too much stuff going on. I don’t wanna get divorced.”
Joye kept encouraging Moore that she and Daly could see through this. “He just has to fight the fight,” Joye said.
But Moore felt broken by the critical comments coming their way. “It’s become public fodder,” she said, quoting “all these people” taking about her online. “‘She was just with this on. How the hell she married, did she pay him?’ … He did not signed up for the crazy, he signed up for me!”
“It’s really scary how people don’t want to see you happy,” she confessed to viewers. “I’ve been told so many times by people who just were not very kind to me that they try to make me feel like, you know, you’re not worthy of true love.”
Moore had told friend and fellow Atlanta Housewife Cynthia Bailey similar things earlier in the episode.
“Marc’s not used to [all this public scrutiny and media attention],” Moore said. “It’s not his world, but I feel like in this case, I need to be his protector. My husband is just feeling very overwhelmed because he’s a private person. So for him to now be the subject of every blog site internationally is insane to him.”
Bailey, who finalized her divorce from ex-husband Peter Thomas earlier this year, felt protective of Moore. “I feel like for whatever reason, Kenya gets the most criticism about her relationships,” she told cameras. “If [Kenya’s] not in a relationship, she can’t get a man. She gotta buy a man — it’s all this crazy nonsense. And looking back, I wish I would have done a lot more work to protect my marriage.”
She then encouraged Moore to stay strong, joking that the critics will leave her alone eventually. “They’ll get tired,” Bailey said. “Even haters gotta sleep sometime.”
In June, Moore opened up to PEOPLE about her decision to initially keep Daly’s identity secret.
“He didn’t sign up for this world, I did,” Moore explained. “Every time someone has been associated with me, they attack that person – immediately going after them, trying to bring them down and saying crazy things. They tear people apart. And so for [Marc], he was like, ‘This is about me and you — it’s not about me or you.’ He just wanted it to be about our pure love and not about him.
“That’s why I fell in love with him,” Moore continued. “For him, it’s about being my protector and my best friend — not being someone that stands next to me, but someone who supports me and is okay with being behind me sometimes. He doesn’t want my money, he doesn’t want my fame, he doesn’t want my success — he just wants my heart, and he has it.”
Elsewhere on Sunday’s RHOA, Moore talked about first meeting Daly when mutual friend (and fellow Bravolebrity) Chef Roblé Ali invited her to a restaurant Daly owned in Brooklyn, New York.
“I ate, and Chef Roblé introduced us,” Moore recalled. “It was just a quick, ‘Have you enjoyed your food?’ Then he left and Chef Roblé spoke so highly of him. Chef Roblé just got excited talking about him. And I noted that. Like, ‘Wow.’ To myself I thought, ‘What can’t I meet a guy like that?’ ”
They didn’t start dating until a few months later, in December. “I was not in the right headspace to have a serious relationship,” Moore said. “I needed to do a lot of work on myself. But right now, I am in a totally different space because I worked on myself.”
“Honestly, I got my husband. He’s everything that I prayed for,” she said of Daly, a former Wall Street banker and now entrepreneur who owns several businesses. “I’ve never been attracted to man like this. It was a miracle that I met him. We would have never crossed paths.”
Besides the hardships of the spotlight, Moore said the two are also battling the long distance of living in separate places. “It’s challenging not having your husband in the same city. His business are in New York and mine are in Atlanta,” she said. “Until we figure it out, this is just how it is.”
But that hasn’t stopped their love. The reality star even said that she “cannot wait to change [her] name,” adding that she plans on getting it hyphenated.
“I literally have been married for all of five minutes, but I have to say getting married was the most amazing time in my life,” she said. “I think I’m still on cloud nine. Did it really happen? Did I really get married? Did I really walk down the aisle?”

#EMPIRE: Hakeem’s custody hearing approaches and what’s really good Lucious?
So it looks like Hakeem’s role this season is getting HOT! Last episode Hakeem is freaking out about the custody hearing — and the complicated relationships between Anika and the rest of the Lyon clan don’t seem to be helping his case. Hakeem goes to confront Angelo (who’s just come from a confrontation with Warren), and Angelo tells him there’s going to be another dude calling Bella “Daddy.” Hakeem clocks Angelo in the face — and then Angelo reminds him that parents who can’t control their temper don’t really get treated favorably by judges.
So Hakeem comes up with the brilliant plan to take Bella and flee to Cuba. He has a plane and fake passports — now all he needs is Tiana, whom Bella apparently thinks is her mother now. Tiana tells him she’ll meet him at the airport…but when she does, she brings Cookie with her. Cookie and Tiana convince him to fight the case because together they can win it. We’ll see.
And now, to the good stuff! And by “good,” I mean absolutely ridiculous. Now that Lucious seems to be connecting to the music better, he asks Claudia, “Why is it that when I hear music, I see color?” She asks if he’s ever heard of synesthesia (which is the coolest neurological condition of all time; also, Pharrell has it) — and then Lucious starts to hear some music in his head, so she brings him paints and Lucious starts finger-painting all over the place. “His brain’s been rewired!” Claudia says. “The only music he’s listening to is in his head right now!”
He paints a ridiculous image on the glass wall of the board room — it’s like a geyser of rainbow paint — and at the next board meeting, Cookie explains that it’s so brilliant, it’s going to be the cover art for the remix album. This seems to be the right time to tell the board the truth about Lucious, so Cookie tells them he’s suffering from a traumatic brain injury. They’re worried about protecting the company, so she brings in Eddie to act as her special advisor. Everyone is satisfied.
Back at home, Lucious continues to paint, and literally all of his memories return through finger-painting. “Your synapses are reawakening!” Claudia cries, as Lucious says things like, “I remember this feeling! I remember what this is!” Then, as they dance around covered in paint (like a complete bastardization of the Ghost pottery scene), his romantic memories of Cookie flood back, and he starts confusing her with Claudia. “You’re my muse,” he says to Cookie-Claudia. “I love you.” Claudia is elated.
The next morning, Claudia is putting her shirt back on and Lucious sees a bunch of scars on her back. “Don’t look at my scars…they’re not very pretty,” she says. He says something nice about them, and then she starts gushing: “Thank you for really seeing me. I was so surprised when you said it before, but I love you, too. I love what we’re creating, this breakthrough…What do you think about me writing a book?”
Lucious is like, “Hold up. You misunderstood me.”She backtracks. “I’m just happy to be your muse!”
And right on time, Old Lucious is back, shooting arrows into Claudia’s heart: “Claudia, you’re not my muse. I love Cookie. Stop calling me Dwight. My office will send you a check — you may leave now.”
She’s overwhelmed, and finally we’re starting to see the Crazy Claudia we all expected when she first made her appearance as Lucious’ overly touchy nurse. “I don’t think you can trust all your memories yet!” she tries to say. “There is no Lucious! Lucious is gone!”
Cookie comes in at just the right time and gets Juanita and some bodyguard man to call someone to take Claudia away. Slightly giddy, Lucious tells Cookie, “I have to tell you what I remembered!” But Cookie is all business: They have to get to Hakeem’s trial, and Lucious can tell her in the car. I hope we get to see that car ride next week!
So, there it is: The cure for amnesia is finger-painting and developing synesthesia. Tell science! I’m going to miss Dwight’s kindness, but I didn’t expect to be this relieved to get Lucious back. Maybe it’s because we didn’t get to see Lucious and Cookie in love and on the same team again after last season’s finale? Either way, this episode was both amazing and horrible, and I’ll never forget it. Please make memes of those finger-painting scenes. Thank you.

ory once again. After becoming only the second unaccompanied female MC to top the Billboard Hot 100, Bardi becomes the first woman ever to have her first three top 10s on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart simultaneously.
Bacardi achieved this feat with “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” which is currently No. 2, Migos’ Nicki Minaj-assisted “MotorSport,” which debuts at No. 5, and G-Eazy’s A$AP Rocky-featuring “No Limit,” which just rose to No. 10, according to Billboard.
She’s the first artist overall to do this since Fetty Wap in 2015, when “Trap Queen,” the Monty-assisted “My Way,” and “679” did so for 13 straight weeks.
Cardi is also one of only six artists to have three simultaneous top 10s on the chart. She falls into this distinguished category along with Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, and Ashanti.
The former reality television star celebrated the news on Instagram. “Soo dope !!!” she wrote. “Billboards say it’s History not me…Lets get Motorsport & No Limit on the top HOT 100 along with BODAK YELLOW !!! And thank you everybody for showing love.Its all cause of you …My single on the way !!!”

Thanks to US Weekly! Kevin Spacey has been spotted for the first time since sexual harassment and assault allegations were made against him — the Oscar winner was covered up in sunglasses and a baseball cap over the weekend while seeking treatment at The Meadows rehab clinic in Arizona.
The disgraced House of Cards star, 58, was seen wearing a hoodie pulled over his baseball hat while carrying a yoga mat. In another photo, he clutched a thick book while walking around the grounds of the facility.
Spacey decided to seek treatment amid several sexual assault allegations made against him in October. “Kevin Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment,” a representative for the star said in a statement to Us on November 2. “No other information is available at this time.”
As previously reported, Star Trek and Broadway actor Anthony Rapp told BuzzFeed last month that the American Beauty actor made inappropriate and unwanted sexual advances toward him in 1986, when the Rent star was just 14. Spacey faced criticism for his apology to Rapp, which he used as an opportunity to reveal he is gay.
Rapp’s story prompted others to speak out against Spacey, including eight current and former House of Cards employees, who claimed to CNN that the two-time Oscar winner made the set of the political drama “toxic.” Netflix announced on November 4 that it had fired Spacey from the show and would not be releasing his Gore Vidal biopic.
The Meadows is a top-notch rehab facility for sex addiction and has treated stars including Tiger Woods, David Duchovny and Michael Douglas. Treatment at the facility costs $28,000 a month and includes New Age-influenced therapy, including walking through a stone “serenity circle” at sunrise and carrying around stuffed animals. Other features include an Olympic-size pool, yoga and riding lessons — as well as limited access to mobile devices and computers. There is also a strict dress code and an anti-smoking policy.
Spacey could run into a familiar face while at The Meadows — disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is also reportedly seeking treatment there.
The Meadows has a 45-day, men-only treatment program for sex addiction that uses a mixture of group therapy, individual counselling, yoga and art classes and equine therapy.
Spice Girls Set to Reunite in 2018 for TV Special and Album
According to The Sun, the 90s pop group Spice Girls are set to reunite in 2018 for a TV special and compilation album.
The reunion has been in talks since Mel C and Victoria Beckham received a previous revival bid.
Sources have confirmed that the plans are in effect. An insider said: “The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion.
“As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.
“And getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion.”

Serena Williams Set To Get Married In New Orleans!
A source says the tennis legend is planning on saying "I do" to her fiancé Alexis Ohanian in the Big Easy.
With her 2-month-old daughter Alexis in tow, it looks like Serena Williams is ready to say “I do” in her wedding to her fiancé, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian, 34.
Apparently the tennis legend plans on celebrating her nuptials in the Big Easy! According to US Weekly, a source close to Williams says that she is planning for the big day in New Orleans and wants for the decorator to use “lots of white with pastel accents.” The 36-year-old also is expecting for approximately 250 guests to watch the couple walk down the aisle.
But before her big day, PEOPLE reported that she and her girlfriends went to New York City earlier this month to celebrate her upcoming wedding while staying at the fancy Baccarat Hotel. Williams, her sister Venus and her BFFs Ciara and LaLa Anthony were all there living it up on this lavish trip that included five-star spa treatments, trapeze-ing, tea brunches, and dancing out on the town.
“They partied ‘til the wee hours at PH-D Rooftop in the Meatpacking District before returning back to the hotel.” The following day, “the ladies were pampered with treatments at the Spa de La Mer at Baccarat Hotel,” the source added.
As previously reported, Williams and Ohanian got engaged last December in Paris.
The exact wedding has yet to be announced, but we’re banking that it’s coming soon as she is preparing to get back to tennis and defend her Australian Open title come January.
HS Golf Coach Resigns After Racist Tweets to Black NASCAR Driver Darrell Wallace Jr.
A high school golf coach in Wisconsin resigned from his post a day after he sent racist tweets directed at black NASCAR driver Darrell Wallace Jr.
The Cambridge News got screenshots of the tweets sent by Brent Nottestad in a reply to Wallace. Those tweets have since been deleted. Cambridge High School said Thursday that Nottestad had resigned, effective immediately.
About 7:20 p.m., Nottestad responded: “Will this fella just go away. Can’t drive himself out of an open wet paper bag. Sad to see the sport let this clown with zero ability.”
About 10 minutes later, Nottestad Tweeted again: “Hey @BubbaWallace. Please quit with, ‘I’m black’ bs. You’re terrible. There are 1423 more credible drivers to get that ride than you.”
Here’s the tweet Wallace sent that Nottestad so stupidly and ignorantly responded to. In case you were wondering if 1423 was a random number Nottestad thought of, well, it’s associated with white supremacy.
In a message to ESPN, Nottestad claimed that 1423 was a random number and that he didn’t know what he was thinking sending the messages to Wallace.
Wallace will drive Richard Petty Motorsports’ No. 43 car full-time in 2018 and is set to be the only full-time black driver in a NASCAR national series. With his 2013 win in the Camping World Truck Series, Wallace became the first black driver to win a national NASCAR race since Wendell Scott in 1964.
Wallace served as a substitute driver for the No. 43 earlier this season as Aric Almirola was sidelined with a back injury. While Wallace has no wins in 85 career starts at NASCAR’s second level, he got his sixth Truck Series win earlier this season at Michigan. It was the only truck race he’s driven in 2017. Drivers have advanced to the Cup Series with fewer wins.
“The Cambridge School District was made aware of several offensive comments made on social media by Cambridge High School boys’ golf coach, Brent Nottestad,” the school district said in a statement on Thursday. “After a meeting between Mr. Nottestad and school district officials this morning, Mr. Nottestad resigned his position with the district, effective immediately. As this is a personnel matter, no other statements or comments will be forthcoming from the school district.”
