STILL THE GOAT! Michael Jackson Tops the Forbes List as Highest-Earning Dead Celebrity At $75 Million!
Though the legendary Michael Jackson died eight years ago, he still seems to be generating loads of cash.
Forbes reports that Jackson is at the top of the list for highest earning dead celebrities for the fifth consecutive year at $75 million. According to the publication, Jackson has received a spike in earnings due to a new compilation album, the Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil show and a stake in the EMI music publishing catalog.
Golf icon Arnold Palmer is second on the list at $40 million, mostly due to sales of the Arizona lemonade and ice tea beverage named after him.
Others that joined Jackson on the list are none other than #ElvisPresley, who came in at fourth place with $35 million, and Bob Marley at fifth place with $23 million.
