Sarah Paulson Has Jessica Lange to Thank For Her Role on American Horror Story
Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange are often recognized for their myriad roles on American Horror Story, but if it wasn't for Lange, Paulson would have never been a part of the show. In this week's issue of Adweek, Paulson revealed that she first met writer Ryan Murphy during a guest appearance on season two of Nip/Tuck, but she had no idea "that was going to lead to my world spinning on the Ryan Murphy axis." Murphy later cast Paulson in a 2008 pilot of another FX show, though it never got picked up and the two eventually lost contact — that is, until Lange got involved.
Lange, who first met Paulson in 2005 when they costarred in Broadway's The Glass Menagerie, had been hanging out with Paulson after moving to LA to film American Horror Story's first season in 2011. "LA is really not her town, so she was glad I was there," Paulson said while recalling the time she accompanied Lange to a Murphy event. "It was the first time I had seen Ryan in many years. Jessica threw her arm around me, looked at Ryan, and said, 'Can't you find something for Sarah to do on the show? It would be so great. I just like having her around.'"
Murphy happily obliged and immediately cast Paulson as psychic Billie Dean Howard in three episodes of American Horror Story before taking Paulson out to dinner and offering her a long-term role with the show. "I was like, 'Based on what?'" Paulson said. "I didn't know why he was motivated to do that, but he did. Then I played Lana Winters, and the rest is history." "We always knew she was great, but her ability to carry things and put them on her shoulder became evident. And she's knocked it out of the park over and over again," Murphy gushed. "She's become a major star."

It felt so random and honestly contrived when Kim Zolciak and Kenya Moore started throwing shade and screaming at each other during Sheree Whitfield’s housewarming party last season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. I had no idea they knew each other, let alone had beef. They were only on one season of RHOA together and they barely interacted.
Kim didn’t even finish out the whole season. She stormed out from a group lunch and off of the show. Nevertheless, they are pushing this feud for a story line and no one can get over the moment in the Season 10 trailer where Kenya tells Kim, “Worry about pimping your daughter out, bitch!” Damn.
Kim spoke about that slam from Kenya in an interview with toofab. The trailer shows Kim going in on Kenya for her very sudden marriage and she asked, “Have you guys ever met her husband?” And that’s when Kenya went for the jugular by referencing Kim’s daughter Brielle Biermann. As expected, Kim went off on her.
Now Kim is saying, “She is not a good person.” And she warned, “Don’t mess with my man, my money, or my kids. At the end of the day, that’s it. You don’t do it, and she crossed that line.” It’s understandable that Kim feels that way, but she didn’t stop there. She had to throw some major shade in Kenya’s direction- obviously.
Kim said, “I don’t expect her to ever understand because she doesn’t have a real husband or children.” Not exactly the best thing to say if she wants to squash this feud, but obviously that’s not what she wants to do and she should just prepare herself for the next dig Kenya has for her.
Kim also said, “I haven’t really met anybody like Kenya, and I hope to never meet anybody like her ever again.” Then returning to Real Housewives of Atlanta wasn’t the best move. These shows are full of cast members who will stop at nothing to insult each other for screen time. Did Kenya cross the line? Yes, but that’s how this show works.

Shot at the show’s Inglewood Avenue apartment, the drama unfolds as the R&B stars go back and forth with their relationship issues. The visual opens with Jazmine on the bed trying to clear her head from the bull-ish that her man has been doing due to his insecurities.

Child Services Investigating Tyrese Over Abuse Allegations
Tyrese is officially under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services after his ex-wife claims he spanked their 10-year-old daughter so badly she was unable to sit down.
Via TMZ:Tyrese and Norma Gibson are in a court battle … Norma’s trying to get a permanent restraining order prohibiting him from physically disciplining their kid. She also wants full physical and legal custody. She’s worried Tyrese will take their daughter to Dubai, where he has business ties, and not come back. She also wants Tyrese to take domestic violence courses.
She claims Tyrese “beat” the girl between 12 and 16 times. Tyrese says he only struck her once on her bottom. Tuesday in court, Norma’s attorney said DCFS is now investigating Tyrese.
It’s not uncommon for DCFS to launch an investigation as a precautionary measure.
For his part, Tyrese says Norma is bitter that he married someone else and is trumping up false allegations out of revenge.
Tyrese’s lawyer, Terry Levich Ross, tells TMZ bluntly, “She’s a lying piece of s***. Tyrese is devastated. He’s a good guy and I will prove that.”
Tyrese took to social media last month and penned an open letter to Norma where he apologized for moving on with his life and remarrying.

#RHONY: Bethenny Frankel Charters Several Planes to Help Puerto Ricans Devastated by Hurricane Maria!
‘The Real Housewives of New York’ star Bethenny Frankel is using her resources to help Puerto Rico in the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.
She’s chartered four planes — one of which she paid for all with her own money — to distribute supplies to Puerto Ricans in need.
They’re also trying to organize a trip to the island with a fifth plane.

With the help of Doctors4Puertorico.com, Fundacionhospitalpediatico.org, University Pediatric Hospital, Delivering Good, Global Empowerment Mission and Feeding America—in addition to her own charity B Strong—Frankel will be delivering, per info she shared on Instagram, “$25k in Costco gift cards, $25k in cash gift cards and approximately 15k lbs of food, water and medical supplies.”
The team will also be transporting citizens in need of urgent medical attention due to cancer, diabetes and other medical conditions, including a baby that has suffered cardiac arrest.
The reality star has been one of the many active voices advocating for more help for the Puerto Rican community, urging her followers and fellow Housewives to join the effort and provide aid.
She has even offered to shoulder the responsibility of organizing the distribution in return for donations, saying on Twitter, “Hwives casts,celebs,hedge funders,networks I have med supplies & meds needing to get to PR.Chip in for plane & I’ll fill it & bring sick home.”
Her calls for help were answered by many of her followers and colleagues, as people such as Andy Cohen of Watch What Happens Live! chipped in to help her deliver supplies from cities across the east coast.
Frankel, who recently underwent surgery on her face to remove skin cancer, is actively taking part in the rescue effort by personally distributing supplies in the city of San Juan. This generosity is not uncommon for Frankel, as she returned only a week ago from a trip to Mexico City with the purpose of providing aid for those affected by the nearly 7.1 magnitude earthquake which left 360 dead and many still missing.
The businesswoman and mother continues to urge people to donate to the relief effort in Puerto Rico, but took a moment to acknowledge the tragedy that occurred in Las Vegas last night, letting those affected by the shooting know that, “We are not forgetting you while in Puerto Rico.”
For people looking to donate to the cause and help Frankel with her efforts, Frankel has set up a donation site to her charity B Strong in coordination with Delivering Good.

#SADNESS Gay Utah couple among victims of Las Vegas shooting
A Utah gay couple attending the country music festival in Las Vegas where the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history took place was among the victims of the tragedy, according to a local media report in Salt Lake City.
Cameron Robinson, a 28-year-old Cedar City, Utah, resident who worked in Las Vegas, was among the 59 people killed in the attack, CBS affiliate KUTV reported. His sister, Meghan Ervin, is quoted as saying Robinson was struck in the neck during the shooting.
Robinson worked as a legal records specialist for Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. Robinson went to Basic High School and held degrees from Nevada State College and Western International University.
His boyfriend, Robert Eardley, was also present at the shooting and was wounded after taking shrapnel in his back, but is expected to survive, according to KUTV.
Eardley was quoted by local affiliate FOX 13 as saying Robinson was an “amazing, determined, hard working man that spent his life always striving to be better.”
“He was so kind and sweet and caring,” Eardley said. “He was quiet and shy but once you got to know him he was goofy and fun and so enjoyable. His family and friends meant the world to him. His loss will leave a scar on us all. He will be missed greatly.”
A GoFundMe page has been established to pay for Robinson’s funeral expenses. As of Tuesday evening, the page had raised more than $16,000.
“Today we lost an amazing friend, son, brother, uncle, cousin, coworker and boyfriend to the senseless, horrible tragedy of the Las Vegas shooting.” the page says. “He was full of life and love and so much passion. He loved his family, friends and everyone he came in contact with.”
According to the page, Robinson enjoying cooking, entertaining, running marathons, traveling, going camping, boating and being outdoors.
“Between his love to cook and amazing dance moves there was always good times,” the page says. “He was such a caring, giving and loving man. Cameron, you will be greatly missed. We love you so much!”
Gabrielle Union Reveals Infertility Struggles: 'I Have Had Eight or Nine Miscarriages'
Gabrielle Union is bravely opening up about infertility struggles she’s faced with her husband Dwyane Wade.
“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” the 44-year-old actress wrote in her upcoming book “We’re Going to Need More Wine.” “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
Gabrielle also wrote that despite all the struggles, she and her husband “remain bursting with love and ready to do anything to meet the child we’ve both dreamed of.”
Gabrielle and Dwyane raise his sons from a previous relationship Zaire, 15, and Zion, 10, as well as his nephew Dahveon Morris, 16.

Will there be MALEFICENT 2?
Joachim Rønning, who helmed Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales for Disney, is in talks to direct another Disney tentpole franchise: the sequel to the studio’s 2014 worldwide box office hit Maleficent. Angelina Jolie confirmed to Deadline last month that she will to return as the lead character based on the nemesis first introduced in the studio’s 1959 fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. The project is expected to go before the cameras in the first quarter of 2018.
Jez Butterworth and Linda Woolverton had been working on the script for producer Joe Roth, we’ve been told. Rønning also has been attached to direct the screen version of Michael Crichton’s final novel Micro for Amblin Entertainment and producer Frank Marshall and is expected back on the next Pirates installment for Disney and Bruckheimer. Rønning also is working with Bruckheimer writing and attached to direct Origins, an original pitch that Paramount picked up pre-emptively. His brother Andreas is working with him on the script.
Rønning’s previous outing Dead Men Tell No Tales ended up making $794.1M worldwide for the studio, dominating the Memorial Day weekend this year with a $69.2M opening weekend.
Maleficent, which dropped during the same weekend three years earlier, broke records with its opening weekend of $69.4M and went onto to make $758.5M worldwide.
#NCIS: Pauley Perrette Leaving 'NCIS' After 15 Seasons
Pauley Perrette has confirmed the rumors that she’s leaving NCIS.
The 48-year-old actress has starred on the series since 2003 in the role of Abby Sciuto. The show is currently airing its 15th season, and Pauley has wrote a note on her Twitter account indicating this season will be her last.
“I hope everyone will love and enjoy EVERYTHING ABBY not only for the rest of this season but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years. All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration…I love her as much as you do,” she wrote.
