Madonna Fights Back on AGEISM: Inside Rolling Stone's New Issue
"This is what a 56-year-old ass looks like!" Madonna tells Rolling Stone, discussing ageism in pop culture.
Madonna returns to the cover of Rolling Stone in our latest issue (on stands Friday) giving her most revealing, introspective and fiery interview in years. In the in-depth Q&A with senior writer Brian Hiatt, Madonna discusses her real feelings about Lady Gaga, her marriage to Guy Ritchie, her relationship with Judaism, her assessment of Kanye West, her love for Whiplash and much more.
"I don't think she wants my crown," Madonna says, referring to Gaga. "We live in a world where people like to pit women against each other. And this is why I love the idea of embracing other females who are doing what I'm doing. . .The only time I ever criticized Lady Gaga was when I felt like she blatantly ripped off one of my songs. It's got nothing to do with 'she's taking my crown' or 'she's in some space of mine.' She has her thing. I do think she's a very talented singer and songwriter. It was just that one issue. And everybody's obviously running with it and turned it into a huge feud, which I think is really boring, quite frankly. And you know what? I don't care anymore. Here's the thing: one day everyone's going to shut up about it. You'll see! I have a plan. "
But Madonna, who will release her new album Rebel Heart on March 6th (read our review of the album here), reserves her most passionate and eloquent remarks for the topic of ageism, in pop writing and in society. "It's still the one area where you can totally discriminate against somebody," she says, "and talk shit. Because of their age. Only females, though. Not males. So in that respect we still live in a very sexist society."
"No one would dare to say a degrading remark about being black or dare to say a degrading remark on Instagram about someone being gay," Madonna continues. "But my age – anybody and everybody would say something degrading to me. And I always think to myself, why is that accepted? What's the difference between that and racism, or any discrimination? They're judging me by my age. I don't understand. I'm trying to get my head around it. Because women, generally, when they reach a certain age, have accepted that they're not allowed to behave a certain way. But I don't follow the rules. I never did, and I'm not going to start."
And if you're wondering if there was a message behind showing off her bare butt on the Grammys' red carpet: "This is what a 56-year-old ass looks like, motherfuckers!" she says. And to the suggestion that her awe-inspiring physique isn't exactly average, she retorts, "You know what? It could be the average some day! That's the thing." "When I did my sex book, it wasn't the average," Madonna says. "When I performed 'Like a Virgin' on the MTV Awards and my dress went up and my ass was showing, it was considered a total scandal. It was never the average, and now it's the average. When I did Truth or Dare and the cameras followed me around, it was not the average. So if I have to be the person who opens the door for women to believe and understand and embrace the idea that they can be sexual and look good and be as relevant in their fifties or their sixties or whatever as they were in their twenties, then so be it."

REPORT: Bobbi Kristina Slowly Taken Out Of Coma, Remains On Life Support
In the weeks since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in her bathtub, her future has remained uncertain. The 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown continues to be unresponsive, kept in a medically induced coma since Jan. 31.
"There will be a sign of hope, and then nothing," says a family source. "Every day, we wonder if this will be the day that we get good news."
Doctors hope to find some answers soon. Their latest medical decision: to wean Bobbi Kristina off the medication that keeps her in the coma. "We're all hoping and praying that this will give us some answers," says the family source, who adds that Brown's condition remains "severe."
Subhashini Ramesh, a professor of NeuroCritical Care at Georgia Regents University, explains the reasoning to PEOPLE. "They take them off a medically induced coma for two reasons – because the underlying problem has improved, or to simply get a sense of what the patient is able to do for themselves."
Dr. Ramesh, who is not treating Brown, says that her recent tracheostomy signifies one bit of positive news. "Obviously, she did not meet the criteria for brain death if she underwent a tracheostomy," Dr. Ramesh says. "She still could have a devastating injury, though."
For now, Bobbi Kristina remains on life support, which includes a ventilator and feeding tube. "We're hoping for a significant change soon," says the family member, "but we know that it may not change anything."
Her supposed “husband” (who is not her real husband), Nick Gordon, recently went on a Twitter rant about Bobby Brown not letting him see Bobbi Kris while she's in the hospital. He blasted Bobbi K’s father for keeping him away and even shared screenshots of alleged text messages he fired off to Bobby. In the texts, Nick tells Bobby to GROW UP and once his daughter realizes what he is doing, she will HATE him.
Since his rant against Bobby, Nick is still active on Twitter, unleashing his frustrations and longing to see the woman he loves. He tweets:

Lady Gaga Joins The Cast Of “American Horror Story”
The next season of “American Horror Story” officially has a new member: Lady Gaga!
As her first starring role on television, the pop star will appear in the fifth season of the hit FX series, which is slated to return in October. While her character has not yet been revealed, Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, has said that major clues were left in the fourth season about the upcoming installment.
On Wednesday (Feb. 25), Mother Monster shared the unexpected news on Twitter. “Make your reservations now. #GagaAHSHotel,” she tweeted along with a short, creepy clip of herself in a beaded mask, whispering the word, “hotel.”
Mayweather-Pacqiao Fight Floor Seats To Run $250k A Pop!
As fans probably expected, tickets to the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2 will be incredibly expensive. That’s if you can find them.
According to The Bleacher Report: This will arguably be the most anticipated fight in boxing history. There will be a lot of demand for tickets, but it’s not likely many will be released to the public.
ESPN.com’s Dan Rafael believes that as few as 1,000 tickets could be made available to the public. The cheapest tickets are expected to be sold for $1,000. If the MGM Grand sold out in 15 minutes after the fight was officially announced, think about how quickly tickets to the fight would be snatched up if they were released to the public.
ESPN Radio 1100 host Scott Spreitzer tweeted some interesting nuggets about ringside seats.
According to Rafael, there has not been a price set for the pay-per-view, which will be a joint effort by HBO and Showtime. However, he expects the pay-per-view to be about $89.95.
This is a fight that every boxing fan wants to see. For those who have said for years that they would “pay to see it,” it’s certainly not going to be a cheap night—even if you watch it from home.
Rap Artist Chamillionaire Joins L.A. Venture Capital Firm As EIR
Chamillionaire has always presented himself as a smart cookie and his latest business merge with Los Angeles venture capital firm Upfront Ventures proves just that.
Instead of mixtaping the world to death like some of his fellow rapper alumni, the Grammy Award-winning artist from Houston has landed himself a position as an entrepreneur in residence (EIR) for the hub that just landed the largest early-stage fund raised in L.A., to the tune of $280 million.
Upfront Ventures partner, Mark Suster, details in his new blog on BothSid.es how he first met Chamillionaire in 2009 and his tech and marketing strategy expertise was apparent even back then.
“After seeing Chamillionaire interact with several entrepreneurs both at events and as an investor I started introducing him to startups in an advisory capacity,” he recalled. It always started the same way – a founder would ask for an intro because they figured he could help with promotion. And after one meeting they started asking for his advice about marketing, customer engagement, product design, monetization – whatever.”
Chamillionaire’s new tech founder hustle puts him in a class by himself as the first rapper to be granted with such an honor.

Photographers snapped away as Milian’s open blue silk jacket revealed more than she probably intended but the “Dip It Low” singer didn’t seem too bothered by the fashion mishap.

Naya Rivera & Husband Announce They Are Expecting
Naya Rivera and husband, Ryan Dorsey didn’t waste any time getting something cooking. And when we say cooking we mean, they are having a baby!
The Glee star confirmed via her website on Tuesday that she and her hubby of just seven months are expecting their first child together.
“We’re having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can’t wait to welcome the newest member of our family,” she wrote, including a photo of a bun in the oven and photos of she and Dorsey as kids.
And talk about interesting timing. Rivera announced the big news the same day as her ex-fiancé, Big Sean dropped his anticipated album, Dark Sky Paradise.
Sean and the 28-year-old ended their engagement in April 2014 and just three months later, she tied the knot to Dorsey during a private ceremony in Cabo San Lucas.

“Empire” Star Trai Byers REVEALS He Almost Became A PASTOR After Not Getting Work As An Actor!
On yesterday’s episode of “The Meredith Vieira Show,” Trai Byers, who stars as eldest brother Andre Lyon on the hit FOX series “Empire,” chops it up about what he contemplated doing with his life before landing a gig on “Empire” and starring in the civil rights film SELMA.
Trai, who admits he’s very passionate about his religious beliefs, reveals he thought about quitting his career in acting after not working at all in 2013. And he wanted to become a pastor. He spilled,
Trai: In 2013 I did not work at all just contemplating what I needed to do if I was walking in my destiny or not. Is this what Trai wants to do? I am a big Christian so I always talk about that or is what God wants me to do. I really contemplated changing going into something else. I am very passionate about God and religion and I thought maybe I am supposed to be a Pastor. I don’t know. I am open to being used in any way that was aligned for me destiny wise and Empire came and right after Empire, Selma came. Then to look later down the line to see Empire was premiering on Wednesday night the same week on Friday Selma was going wide, you couldn’t time it like that.
Meredith: Did you believe it was a message?
Trai: Yes, Trai stay where you are.
The sexy actor also weighs in about iconic actor Denzel Washington possibly appearing on “Empire” with a guest-starring role. A few weeks ago, director Lee Daniels posted a picture of himself and Denzel at dinner on Instagram saying he was working to persuade Denzel to make a cameo on the top-rated primetime television show.
Meredith: He recently posted a photo with Denzel Washington on Instagram saying, “Trying to talk this one into doing a guest star on Empire.” You’ve had a lot of stars on so far. Do you have any idea whether Denzel is thinking about it?
Trai: Wouldn’t that be great. I think it would be great. I love Denzel.
Meredith: He compares you to Denzel.
Trai: That’s high praise. The show is huge with a huge show comes a lot of rumors. I couldn’t say whether he was or was not, is or is not but that would be great. Hopefully he does.
Meredith: If he’s smart he’ll do it.
Trai: I think he’s pretty smart.

Later, Trai reveals how the cast found out that they were getting renewed for a second season. Unexpectedly, the main cast was on a plane to L.A. and once they landed, a random guy sitting on the plane checked his phone and saw the show had been picked up for a new season....and proceeded to yell out the news!
Trai:The core cast were on our way to the TCA’s in Los Angeles, all on a plane together, the Television Critics Association. So we are landing in LA and this man sitting next to me, he has a baseball cap on, regular guy, unassuming guy. As soon as we land they tell us we can turn our phones on. He turns his on and says, ’Hey, you know you were just picked up for a second season right?’ I’m like, ‘Really?’ I’m sitting in the middle, Yazz is in the front. Taraji and Jussie are across from me and Terence is in the back. I’m like, ‘We just got picked up for a second season y’all’ and the front of the plane just erupts. I’m sure we scared the mess out of the people in the back.

Jodeci Announces Release Date Of New Album “The Past, The Present, The Future”
Jodeci has announced the name and official release date for their new album. Titled The Past, The Present, The Future, the R&B group’s reunion album is scheduled to hit stores March 31.
The LP features 12 new tracks, including the B.o.B-assisted “Nobody Wins” – and an appearance from Liana Banks (“Sho Out”).
Additionally, the fellas have also released a teaser for the accompanying visuals to their single “Every Moment.”
