Report: Will Bobbi Kristina be Being taken Off Life Support On The Anniversary Of Whitney’s Death?
I hope this isn’t true! As Bobby Brown and family members held out hope for a miracle to happen for 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, it appears they may soon say their final goodbyes. The family gathered by Bobbi Kris' bedside at Emory University Hospital yesterday before joining hundreds of supporters for a candelight vigil to pray for a recovery.
Now, Bobby Brown has reportedly made the devastating decision to take his daughter Bobbi Kristina off of life support as early as tomorrow, this according to TMZ. February 11th marks the third anniversary of the passing of her mother, iconic legend Whitney Houston. Page Six also reported the news.
Bobby Brown's lawyer, nor family memeber Jerod Brown, have confirmed this yet.
A source close to the family tell AJC, "She is gone and she has been gone for a while."
PageSix reports her grandmother, Cissy Houston, also would like to have Bobbi taken off life support on the same day as the death of her mother. But TMZ says they have not confirmed this. As hard as it is to bury a loved one, they reportedly believe letting her go on that day will bond her with her mother forever.
A source tells PageSix, which confirms previous reports the doctors told the family to say their good-byes, “This is the only thing they can agree on — that she’s gone [brain-dead], and there’s nothing more than can be done for her".
We were all shocked to learn that Bobbi Kristina was found submerged in a bathtub in her Georgia home on Jan 31st, discover by her alleged husband Nick Gordon and friend Max Lomas. People have been even more shocked by the conflicting reports about her condition, as well as the family drama/fighting that has followed since her hospitalization. Doctors placed Bobbi Kris in a medically induced coma to help reduce brain swelling and she has reportedly been on a ventilator to regulate her breathing.
Bobbi's boyfriend Nick Gordon is being investigated by police after injuries were found on Bobbi's body.
This is all extremely sad, especially considering she would be celebrating her 22nd birthday on March 4th. We are keeping the Brown-Houston families in our prayers.
