Introducing The Contact Smart Lens By Google
As the world turns technology is advancing. We all know that diabetes effects 1in every 19 people and it can cause damage to your liver, kidney and eyes. Well now they are testing a smart contact lens that’s built to measure glucose levels in tears using a tiny wireless chip and miniaturized glucose sensor that are embedded between two layers of soft contact lens material.
Google is testing prototypes that can generate a reading once per second. They are also investigating the potential for this to serve as an early warning for the wearer, so Google is exploring integrating tiny LED lights that could light up to indicate that glucose levels have crossed above or below certain thresholds. It’s still early days for this technology, but they’ve completed multiple clinical research studies which are helping to refine their prototype. Google hope this could someday lead to a new way for people with diabetes to manage their disease.
They are in discussions with the FDA, but there’s still a lot more work to do to turn this technology into a system that people can use. They plan to look for partners who are experts in bringing products like this to market. These partners will use their technology for a smart contact lens and develop apps that would make the measurements available to the wearer and their doctor. Reportedly, the new spin-off Atlanta Exes, based off the original VH1 Hollywood Exes has begun filming.
The producers of ‘Hollywood Exes,’ we’re working with them right now. We have the cast together, fingers crossed it looks like something will be happening very soon. The cast that we put together is a very good cast and its not going to be just like ‘Hollywood Exes’ in that vain. We’re not going to be fighting. It’s gonna be wives, some ex-wives, some big players in Hollywood

TMZ reports that the 23-year-old rapper was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley for running a stop sign early Wednesday morning. During the stop, cops say they noticed that Soulja was in possession of a loaded gun and arrested him on the site. This proves how your association can also and will also hinder your life.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kandi Burruss, joined the cast of off Broadway’s smash comedy NEWSical The Musicalweek for a two-week run, that started last week.

Eddie Murphy Says He's NOT Comedian Brando Murphy's Pappy!
In other foolish news, a comedian named Brando Murphy is claiming that Eddie Murphy is his daddy....and Eddie aint having it.
Now we all know Eddie isn't the most do-right-by-my-out-of-wedlock-kids guy (i.e., Angel Iris Murphy), but this Brando guy seems to have a couple screws loose.
He may look a lot like Eddie...and his impersonation of his maybe-daddy is spot on....but the rest of the situation is quite foolish. TMZ reports Brando did the following as well:
-- Changed his last name to Murphy
-- Performing with Richard Pryor's son, Mason, in the "Sons of Comedy" tour.
-- Showing up at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Eddie frequents and screaming, "My father won't talk to me!"
Eddie's lawyers fired off a letter to Brando saying he must stop publicly saying Eddie is his pappy (Brando even advertised being his son on a sandwich board that promoted an upcoming appearance).

Sherri Shepherd Apologizes For Perceived ‘Anti-Gay’ Comments
Sherri Shepherd made her regrets known Tuesday as she apologized for perceived anti-gay comments she made during a recent interview on the Fusion network.
During her interview with “Alicia Mendez Tonight” (on the Fusion Network), Shepherd was asked about her thoughts on homosexuality.
“You grow up being a Christian and you have grown up believing homosexuality is a sin, you’re going to hell if you’re a homosexual,” “The View” co-host told Mendez. “This is something that I grew up believing. I always tell people, ‘I may not agree with your lifestyle, but I love you. You may not agree with my lifestyle, but you love me.’”
Realizing her comments could be misinterpreted; Shepherd took a minute on “The View” to apologize to viewers who may have been offended by the Fusion interview.
“Working on a talk show that’s centered in the opinion business, there’s been several things that I’ve shared in the press that have upset people, and typically I don’t respond to the criticism,” Shepherd said on“The View.” “However, I’d like to say I’m truly sorry to anyone I’ve offended with the viewpoints I expressed on Alicia Menendez Tonight on the Fusion network.”
“My interview was misrepresented, and only a portion of my comments were used as a headline to give the impression that I was condemning members of the LGBT community living in their own truth,” she continued. “In the interview, I express I was raised as a child to have a certain set of beliefs, but my beliefs have evolved significantly as my own personal relationship with Christ has increased.”
“The View” co-host’s comments came after voicing what she felt was people’s biggest misconception of her.
“I think people don’t know my heart. I think they feel I’m very judgmental. I think people feel I’m very homophobic. If they knew me and knew my heart … If you come to me respectfully and ask me about my beliefs, I’ll talk to you about anything,” Shepherd expressed to Mendez. As the interview progressed, Shepherd touched on whether being gay is a choice made by the individual.
“Some people say it’s a choice. I don’t say it’s a choice. If you tell me, ‘Sherri, I was born gay.’ OK. I’m not gonna argue with you, because I can’t tell you how you feel and what’s going on inside,” she stated. “I’m trying to make it to heaven by the skin of my teeth … So if you tell me you’re born [gay], I’m not gonna argue with you. And I absolutely respect you for that. I just ask that people respect how I feel and respect how you feel and we can have a great dialogue. And then afterwards, lets go get a drink.”
Arrest Warrant for Suge Knight … No Show for Court …
*Apparently Suge Knight has not been getting the memo. According to reports, another arrest warrant has been issued for the former head of Death Row Records.
The warrant is the latest one issued for Knight, who did not show up in court after being ordered to do so upon being arrested and released from jail in September.
The rap mogul was pulled over that month, by authorities, who realized that Knight has an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in another case.
As a result, the judge in the case ordered deputies to bring Knight in and set bail for $26,000 according to a TMZ report.

The shade is clearly real with Kanye towards Bey and we all know Kanye has no issue giving his other fellow musicians praise, where it’s due and Madonna is the latest one to receive praise from Mr. West. He has declared the iconic singer “the greatest visual musical artist” of all time. The shade of it all…lol…Oh, Kanye….U mad???
In a candid interview with Steve McQueen for Interview magazine, Kanye, 36, discusses the current state of pop culture and notes Madonna’s influence on the industry and her ability to channel different looks in a comment which bares a striking similarity to the incident when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s VMAs acceptance speech to state that Beyonce had the “greatest music video of all time.”
Madonna, I think, is the greatest visual musical artist that we’ve ever had,” Kanye told McQueen in the interview.
“If you look at her photo log, the photographers that she was able to work with throughout her career framed her in the proper way. It was the proper context. It was that visual that made sure that everything was gonna cut through in a certain way.”
So it may very well be true that Kanye is pissed that Bey stole his visual album idea? The Carters must have sent him a “we love you from afar” message, because he’s been kinda shady lately…

Some have blasted Cara for using "the oldest trick in the book," trying to "titillate male admirers by engaging in girl-on-girl action." Which— as simple and silly as the photo is— brings up a much deeper debate. Like, isn't it more offensive to assume her flirtiness had no motivation behind it other than to attract the male gaze?
HUH? Christina Milian Says She and Fiancé Jas Prince ‘Act Like Brother and Sister’
When people describe a couple’s interaction, they’ll generally say “they fight like cats and dogs” or “they’re inseparable like siamese twins.”
It’s very rare that a couple will be described as siblings. In a recent appearance on “Bethenny,” singer/actress Christina Milian talked wedding plans and love with the talk show host.
Things got a little weird when Milian told Bethenny that she and her fiancé, record label executive Jas Prince, “act like brother and sister.”
“He’s a ton of fun we are like best friends, okay this sounds weird guys don’t get grossed out but we act like brother and sister where we are kind of like catty and annoying with each other…but we get it,” she told the talk show host.
When discussing the wedding, Milian believes the wedding will be big due to her fiancé’s large family, but she also insinuated that they’re very much paying attention to the financial aspect of the ceremony.
