21ST ANNUAL DIVAS SIMPLY SINGING!
There was no shortage of Divas last weekend in Los Angeles, as Sheryl Lee Ralph presented her annual event, Divas Simply Singing! Now in it’s 21st year, the event was held Saturday at the Wilshire Ebell Theater.
The Divas on the bill included, Jennifer Holliday, Kelly Price, Loretta Devine, Faith Evans, Raven Symone, LaShun Pace, Amber Riley, Jenifer Lewis, Shanice, Frenchie Davis, Niecy Nash, Bonnie Pointer, Yo Yo, and others. Divas Simply Singing! is a fundraiser to benefit The Diva Foundation, started by Sheryl Lee Ralph, to bring global awareness about HIV/AIDS.

The benefit not only raises money — but pays homage to several indivuals that have lost their lives to AIDS. The evening also honored Vesta and included a tribute to the late Teena Marie.
