#RHOA: Porsha Williams Claims Brittany Eady Tried To Get Kenya Moore ‘Fired’
Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore have had their ups and downs over the years. But coming into Season 16, Porsha says she was actually looking forward to “a brand new start” with Kenya.
Unfortunately, things got off to a bad start between Kenya and newbie Brittany Eady. When Kenya mistook Brittany’s giant rock for an engagement ring, rather than her wedding band, Brit took offense. Things got worse from there. When things heated up at a cast event, Brit muttered that she has “guns for bitches like [Kenya].” Consequently, Kenya decided to reveal explicit photos of Brittany at her Kenya Moore Hair Care event. As a result, producers suspended Kenya from RHOA for the rest of the season.
But Porsha’s got more tea to spill. “There’s a housewife who’s still on the show right now,” she says, “that went [to producers] several times to try to get Kenya fired.”
Porsha Williams says RHOA star “still on the show” tried to get Kenya Moore fired “several times”
When Brit first took offense to Kenya’s remarks about her ring, Porsha admits that she wasn’t there because she was late. “I didn’t see that part, but I heard about it,” she says. “The way it was told to me … it wasn’t that shady.”
Even though Kenya has a certain reputation for “little girling” people, Porsha thinks she’s usually open and kind when she first meets people. “Honestly, when I watched the episode, I felt like she was cool,” Porsha adds.
But at a later event when Brittany confronted Kenya, Kenya told her, “Queens don’t address peasants.” Kenya’s comment set off an argument between the two that lasted two hours.
As everyone was leaving, “Brit just starts to get more upset,” Porsha adds. “Kenya’s off to the corner twirling, and Brit is still very much in defense mode.”
That’s when Porsha says Brittany went “into her ghetto bag” and started “talking big talk.” When she started talking about having “a pistol,” it was while she was talking to castmate Kelli Ferrell. Porsha didn’t hear the comment about guns at the time.
Even after Kenya’s nasty behavior at her KM Hair Care event, Porsha thinks demanding a fellow castmate’s termination is just “crazy.”
“We’re all trying to make a living for our kids and our families,” Porsha says. “I would never … call for nobody to get fired … But this person went behind closed doors and asked for Kenya to be fired. Multiple times. And this person is still on the show.”
At the end of her lengthy YouTube stream-of-consciousness, Porsha hints that there may be more to come out later “on this person.”

#MusicNews: Bootsy Collins Brand New 'album Of The Year #1 Funkateer' is Out Now

Today, funk legend Bootsy Collins releases his 23rd studio album Album of the Year #1 Funkateer out now on Bootzilla Records/ Roc Nation. Listen to the album here and the lead single “Bubblepop” featuring Ice Cube and Fantaazma here.
Bootsy Collins, even at his 73 year-old, funk legend, wise-elder status, remains a deeply curious, experimental artist who is ever-evolving. This album finds Bootsy in the producer's chair, with an A&R top hat and the funky bass still in his hands. He’s gathered talent established and new – including Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa, and Dave Stewart, as well as newcomers October London, Harry Mack, Baby Triggy, Fantaazma, and more.
“When I start on a project now, it's about getting the energy from people around me,” says funk maestro Bootsy Collins. “Because the way I came up, with a band, I don't ever want to lose that. It's important to me to see who the universe brings for me, and I've been really blessed that every time I want to do a new record, I get these incredible musicians around me, right on time. And that's what this album is about—hooking up with different musicians and artists, and mainly a lot of young people.”
The result is a genre-bending kaleidoscope of funk, punk, rock, r&b, pop, and even a little electronic futuristic vibes as Bootsy contemplates AI. He is letting his alter egos – Bootdullivan, Bootzilla, Caspar the funky ghost, and Bootronix among others – join the party, with seductive jams (“Pure Perfection”), futuristic exploratory musings (“I.Am.AI.”, “Ubiquitous” – a true jam), pure funk fun (“Bubblepop”, “Fishnets”, “Chicken & Fries”) and unexpected rock-pop genius (“Satellite”).
Talking about his new Album of the Year #1 Funkateer leads Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Collins to revisit the most pivotal moment in his legendary career, when James Brown hired the Pacemakers—the band led by teenage Bootsy and his brother Catfish—to replace his backing group in 1970.
“I understand now why we were really important at that particular time for James Brown,” says Collins. “It wasn't just the music. It was because we were lit up, and I understand that more now. With the young artists that are really on fire, I get lit up, and it reminds me that you don't have to just stand around and not be feeling it, you can be absorbing all this fresh, new energy. I get off on that. I guess you can say that I moved from being a player and now I'm a coach. I want to be looked at as a help, a mentor, somebody they can look up to and trust. That's my goal.”
In addition to working with young artists like Barbara Teleki (whose blazing guitar rips up “Barbie T & Me”) and the mysterious Bootdullivan, Collins brought in some other legendary contributors to help him mix things up on Album of the Year, including longtime friend Dave Stewart of Eurythmics.
“I asked Dave if he would be interested in collaborating,” says Collins, “and that sparked the first vibe of, yeah, I can stretch out—I can make some rock and funk and merge that together with some hip-hop. That's what we did on the first single, ‘The Influencers.’”
“Then on ‘Satellite,’ I heard him playing acoustic guitar and that put me in the right mood,” he continues. “Okay, this can be, like, a real song from Bootsy. I usually don't do real songs, I guess that's part of my thing, but that one and ‘Alien Flytrap’ brought me back to why people do songs with a form and a structure and this time, I wanted to.”
The album also reunites Collins with Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and tha Dogg Pound, all of whom helped keep the P-Funk flag flying by mutating the sound into the West Coast G-Funk era. “Even before we knew each other, we were drawn to each other,” says Collins. “They'll never forget, and we'll never forget them, because they kept the fire burning. It's like we're each other's keeper. They can call me, I can call them, whatever you need, I'm there.”

#HipHopNews: Jury finds Soulja Boy liable to tune of $4.25 million in sexual assault civil trial
A jury on Thursday slapped rapper Soulja Boy with a $4.25 million verdict on civil claims of sexual assault brought by a woman he used to live with.
Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Way, smiled calmly as the verdict was being read, giving little in the way of reaction to being found liable for a range of civil claims including sexual battery, assault and gender violence.
The verdict included just over $4 million in compensatory damages and $250,000 in punitive damages. The plaintiff had asked for another $4 million in punitives.
The plaintiff, who has asked to remain nameless throughout the trial, expressed a level of muted satisfaction about the verdict.
"It’s gonna help,” she said. "Now I can get medical attention and seek therapy. But none of that is going to give me my life back.
"I got some justice. I’m happy that this is all over now.”
Her attorney, Neama Rahmani agreed. "Today is just the beginning of justice for Soulja Boy's victims,” said Rahmani, president of West Coast Trial Lawyers. Rahmani said his client felt vindicated by the verdict, "because he called her a liar. He said she was never an employee — nothing more than a disgruntled, jealous, lying ex. And I think the jury rejected that argument.”
According to Rahmani, Way made an offer to settle the case right before the trial began for $100,000.
Way said he was “deeply disappointed" with the verdict, which he said was "not based on facts or substantial evidence.”
"I want to make it clear that I'm innocent,” said Way, reading from a statement on his smartphone outside the courthouse. "I am committed to filing an appeal and fighting for the truth to be revealed."
He also objected to the plaintiff being allowed to remain anonymous throughout the trial.
“Keeping these individuals anonymous while I'm forced to face public scrutiny creates an unequal playing field,” he said. "I believe this entire process has been tainted by a system that is not designed to protect the rights of the accused.”
The plaintiff said that she worked as Soulja Boy's assistant for nearly two years, during which time he regularly raped and beat her, at times keeping her as a prisoner. At one point, she said, the two fell in love and were in something like a consensual relationship. But it was a tumultuous one that frequently veered into physical, sexual and emotional abuse, she testified.
The 34-year-old rapper, best known for his 2007 viral hit single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)," denied raping or beating the plaintiff, calling some of the accusations “disgusting.” He also said that he never even even formally employed the plaintiff, insisting that she stayed at his house frequently and rolled blunts, but nothing more.
"She was rolling blunts,” Way’s attorney, Rickey Ivie of Ivie McNeill Wyatt Purcell & Diggs told the jury during his closing statement. "She got room and board. That’s the industry standard."
When called to testify by the plaintiff as a hostile witness, Way admitted he had called her his assistant at least once, at a Louis Vuitton store.
The jury also found the rapper liable on the claims of intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment and nonpayment of wages. Jurors cleared him on claims of false imprisonment and constructive discharge.
The plaintiff testified for the better part of three days, and gave a harrowing account of her time spent with Way.
"I wanted to die," the woman testified, sobbing. "I just wanted to go home."
When she first met Way, she said, she weighed about 150 pounds. By the time she finally broke free from him, she said, she was down to about 86.

A Judge Reportedly Tells Wendy Williams Her Career Is Over

A judge reportedly told Wendy Williams that her career is over at a recent hearing regarding her guardianship. According to TMZ, sources claim that Judge Lisa Sokoloff exclaimed, “It’s done,” referencing the 60-year-old’s time on screen and on air.
Judge Sokoloff also allegedly accused Williams’s niece, Alex Finnie, of leaking information to the media and threatened her with sanctions for future conduct. The source also claimed that the judge called Williams’ family “no good.” The tabloid reported that the famed commentator was hurt by the remarks.
Earlier this month, the talk show host expressed her regrets about consenting to the courts appointing her a legal guardian to oversee her affairs in the past. Williams has been under the legal guardianship of Sabrina Morrissey since May 2022 amid health concerns.
Her health care advocate, Ginalisa Monterroso, shared, “She kind of felt like, ‘Hey, I have the court. They’re going to assign me a money person. I’m going to be good.’ In no way did she think that her whole life was going to be taken away from her.”
“She wanted to make sure nobody’s in her money and she would be fine,” she continued to elaborate.
Last month, the New Jersey native appeared on The View to expand on her situation.
“I needed a breath of fresh air. I needed to see the doctor, so that’s why I went to the hospital,” she explained. “How dare they say I have incapacitation. I do not!”
When asked about her potential return to television, she exclaimed, “I’ve been doing important things all of my life, and these two people don’t look like me. They don’t talk like me. They don’t act like me. They will never be me.”

Jazmine Sullivan Suffered Miscarriage, She Reveals In Emotional Birthday Post
Jazmine Sullivan recently reflected on losing the “2-month-old son that I never got to meet.” The Philadelphia songstress shared with fans via her Instagram Stories Thursday (April 10) that she suffered a miscarriage, posting the news one day after her 38th birthday.
“Whew.. thank yall for ur birthday wishes. Leading up to my birthday has been incredibly hard as I’ve been thinking abt my mother and missing her more than words can say,” she began. The singer’s mother, Pamela Sullivan, passed away July 22, 2023.
She went on, “I woulda have been holding my 2-month-old son that I never got to meet. So needless to say I’ve been down bad.
Sullivan went on to express her gratitude for a satisfying massage “that helped to release some of the deep pain I’ve been holding in for a while,” as well as her concerned fans.

A judge has ruled that President Donald Trump cannot dismiss a lawsuit brought against him by the Exonerated Five (formerly the Central Park Five).
According to MSNBC, U.S. District Judge Wendy Beetlestone rejected Trump’s motion, citing it can be “plausibly inferred” that Trump “had sufficient knowledge of Plaintiffs’ wrongful conviction and exoneration to have understood that Plaintiffs did not plead guilty, nobody died as a result of the crimes that day in Central Park, and Plaintiffs are indeed not guilty.”
Last year, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Antron Brown, and Korey Wise filed their defamation lawsuit for spreading “false, misleading, and defamatory” statements during the ABC News presidential debate in September 2024.

During the debate, Trump responded to Harris’ mention of his infamous 1989 full-page ad in The New York Times where he called to “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” against the men who were wrongfully accused and charged with attempted murder, rape, and other crimes as teenagers.
“[T]hey come up with things like what she just said going back many, many years when a lot of people including Mayor [Michael] Bloomberg agreed with me on the ‘Central Park 5,‘” he stated before the entire nation on TV. “They admitted — they said, they pled guilty. And I said, ‘Well, if they pled guilty they badly hurt a person, killed a person ultimately.’ Then they pled ‘we’re not guilty.’”
Still, Judge Beetlestone added that the Exonerated 5 “hadn’t yet met their legal burden for one of their defamation theories or for their claim that Trump had intentionally inflicted emotional distress” per MSNBC, as the civil case continues.

Viola Davis reveals her flawless wax figure creation

Acclaimed actress Viola Davis recently unveiled a remarkably accurate wax figure, highlighting her personal involvement in ensuring the sculpture captured her authentic appearance. The Emmy, Oscar, and Tony Award winner carefully supervised the creation process, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to genuine representation.
Davis meticulously oversaw every aspect of her wax figure’s development, ensuring artists precisely captured her distinctive features. She ensured they accurately represented her skin tone, teeth, the distinctive bump on her nose, and even her body proportions. This level of involvement reflects her longstanding advocacy for authentic representation in entertainment and visual arts.
The figure stands as a testament to Davis’s pride in her appearance and heritage, providing fans with an opportunity to appreciate her likeness in remarkable detail. The unveiling ceremony attracted significant attention from entertainment media and Davis’s substantial fan base across multiple platforms.
Davis‘s dedication to accuracy in her wax figure aligns with her broader mission of promoting proper representation in Hollywood. Throughout her distinguished career, she has consistently advocated for authentic portrayals of African Americans in film and television. Her insistence on capturing every nuance of her appearance demonstrates how representation extends beyond roles and scripts to visual depictions in all art forms.
For communities historically underrepresented in museums and artistic installations, seeing accurate representations serves as powerful validation. Davis’s figure provides visitors with an authentic depiction that honors her heritage rather than conforming to conventional beauty standards that have typically dominated such displays.
Creating a celebrity wax figure involves extensive technical expertise and artistic precision. The process typically begins with detailed measurements and photographs from multiple angles. Sculptors then work meticulously to capture facial structure, body proportions, and distinctive features.
The most challenging aspects often involve replicating skin texture, tone, and subtle facial characteristics. Davis’s involvement ensured artists accurately reproduced her unique features, including specific facial contours and complexion. The finished result required hundreds of hours of detailed work from specialized artists working with various materials, including specialized wax compounds and human hair for enhanced realism.
The figure’s unveiling generated substantial social media engagement, with entertainment platforms like The Jasmine Brand showcasing Davis’s enthusiastic response. Followers praised the exceptional accuracy of the figure, particularly noting the precise representation of her skin tone and facial features.
Unlike many celebrity wax figures that often become viral for their inaccuracies, Davis’s likeness earned widespread praise for its authenticity. Entertainment commentators noted how her personal involvement significantly elevated the final result, creating a benchmark for future celebrity representations.
As one of the most celebrated actresses of her generation, Davis continues to influence Hollywood through both her performances and advocacy work. She remains the only African American performer to achieve the prestigious “Triple Crown of Acting” — winning an Academy Award, Emmy Award, and Tony Award.
Beyond her artistic achievements, Davis consistently leverages her platform to address systemic issues in entertainment. Her production company, JuVee Productions, actively develops projects highlighting diverse perspectives and voices traditionally marginalized in mainstream media. The accurate representation of her wax figure aligns perfectly with her broader mission to ensure authentic portrayals across all media.
Davis’s figure joins a limited collection of wax representations of prominent African American performers and public figures. This addition helps museums and exhibition spaces move toward more inclusive displays that better reflect society’s diversity. For younger visitors especially, seeing authentic representations of successful individuals from various backgrounds provides important visibility and inspiration.
The meticulous attention to detail in Davis’s figure establishes a new standard for accuracy in celebrity representations. This development comes amid growing recognition that traditional artistic depictions have often failed to properly represent the diversity of human appearance, particularly regarding skin tones and distinctive features of people of color.
Through her continued advocacy and personal involvement in her wax figure’s creation, Viola Davis demonstrates that authentic representation remains a crucial aspect of cultural progress. Her commitment to accuracy ensures that visitors experience a genuine likeness that honors her identity while celebrating her extraordinary career achievements.

Sheryl Lee Ralph hurt in crash before Hollywood star award
Sheryl Lee Ralph was involved in a car accident this week. The incident occurred just days before her scheduled appearance on late-night television, causing concern among her fans and colleagues.
The “Abbott Elementary” actress appeared on “The Late Show” on Wednesday, April 9, with her arm in a black sling. When asked about her injury, she explained she had been in a scary incident that left her feeling “terrible.” Ralph, who won an Emmy Award for her role as Barbara Howard in the hit ABC comedy series, maintained her characteristic positivity despite the injury.
“I’ve got to name the elephant in the room: What is the accessory you are wearing there?” host Stephen Colbert asked his guest. The late-night host’s concern was evident as he addressed the visible injury.
“Man, I was in a car accident!” the 68-year-old actress replied. “The car went over the loading dock. We went nose down and said, ‘Wait a minute, I’m here tonight with Stephen Colbert!’ “
The actress, known for her resilience throughout her four-decade career, described the frightening moment with her trademark humor.
She then clarified the accident had actually happened on April 7, but she didn’t let it stop her working. Her commitment to her professional obligations showcases the work ethic that has sustained her long-standing career in Hollywood.
“The adrenaline kicked in so much. I was on my way to a speaking engagement in the car. It was terrible,” she added. “But I felt like, ‘OK, move forward, move forward. They got half the money already, so I might as well go in and finish the job. I showed up and it went so well.” This determination has been a hallmark of Ralph’s approach to her career since her breakthrough role in the original Broadway production of “Dreamgirls.”
Ralph went on to accept an award from the MCC Theater in New York City that night but felt the effects the following day as she woke up feeling “terrible.” The prestigious theater organization was honoring her contributions to the performing arts, adding another accolade to her impressive collection.
“I woke up Tuesday feeling like I had done 12 rounds with Muhammad Ali,” she said. Despite the pain, the actress maintained her sense of humor throughout the interview.
Colbert then joked her sling matched her sparkly black dress. The comment highlighted Ralph’s ability to maintain her fashion sense even in challenging circumstances.
“It was terrible. But this is all I got, and I’ve got you right there,” Ralph replied. “Life is short, people. Remember that!” Her philosophical perspective resonated with the audience, who responded with supportive applause.
Later in the interview, Ralph joked about her injury again when talking about her upcoming Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, which is due to take place next week with her “Abbott Elementary” co-star Quinta Brunson set to pay tribute to her. The ceremony represents a significant milestone in her illustrious career spanning television, film, and Broadway.
“And I’m alive to be there,” she quipped. The comment reflected both her gratitude for surviving the accident and her characteristic humor in the face of adversity.
But growing more serious, the veteran actress admitted she hopes the accolade will inspire others. Throughout her career, Ralph has been known for her mentorship of younger performers and her advocacy for representation in the entertainment industry.
“Stephen, for me, having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it’s really not so much for me but for all the other artists and really people out there on the grind who think that they are unseen, think that it can’t happen for them. It can actually happen for you!” she said. This statement encapsulates Ralph’s approach to her success, using her platform to encourage others in the industry.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced Ralph’s star ceremony earlier this year, recognizing her contributions to television, film, and theater over a career spanning more than four decades. The star will be placed near other television legends on Hollywood Boulevard, cementing her legacy in entertainment history.
Despite the accident and injury, Ralph is expected to continue filming the upcoming season of “Abbott Elementary,” which has earned critical acclaim and a devoted audience since its premiere. The show has been praised for its authentic portrayal of educators and the challenges they face in underfunded public schools.

D.L. Hughley Reacts To Bill Maher Meeting With Trump

While briefly speaking with TMZ, the comedian said that he was not happy with Maher’s visit and said that the president is a “transactional” man. He added that Trump is trying to get something out of Maher and said that Maher and Trump’s administration have a lot of things in common.
“Bill Maher’s position on ‘woke’ is virtually in the same line as Trump. I think he’s been a vociferous opponent of ‘woke,’” Hughley said. “I can’t even tell or differentiate some of the things the administration has said about the ‘woke’ phenomenon, and he has so I think they had a lot in common.”
He was then asked if there was something wrong with meeting with the president to bring forth important topics to him. Hughley responded that Trump has not listened to the people closest to him, so he wouldn’t listen to anybody else. “Men like that: Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Bill Maher, to a great degree, have amplified this narrative to the expense that everybody believes it. And it’s insulting to me.”

Taylor Swift has taken legal action against Kanye West over a series of sixually explicit messages he posted about her and two famous music stars.
The rapper claimed that she had a thr3some with Justin Bieber and Harry Styles and described the alleged romp in downright obscene detail.
Taylor Swift was reportedly "upset" by the allegation and filed a "cease and desist," which her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is said to be in full support of.
The rapper made the allegation in a series of explicit messages he posted on social media recently.
According to an insider who spoke with the Daily Mail, Swift was "left with no other option" than to take the legal action against the "Donda" rapper.
"This time, he has gone too far. His claims are not just false they are defamatory," the source said about the Yeezy CEO.
"This isn't just [West] gossiping. This is [West] sixually harassing a woman, defaming her, and intending to cause harm to her and to her career," they added.
With the cease and desist now issued, West is expected to refrain from making any future rants of a similar nature against Swift. However, if he continues, he may face more severe legal consequences, including a potential defamation lawsuit.
Despite not being named in Kanye West's unhinged rant, Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is reportedly furious over the situation.
He now wants to confront West physically "man to man" if the rapper will be willing to make himself available.
Further fueling Kelce's outrage is his belief that continued commentary on West's claims will only "give more attention to the lies."
It also doesn't help that Swift is "clearly upset" about being smeared by the untrue allegations.
"Taylor's clearly upset, and Travis is obviously supporting her," the insider further remarked. "There must be consequences. West would never dare say this to her face."

Eric Dane reveals he's been diagnosed with ALS but will continue to work on Euphoria

"Euphoria" is scheduled to begin production on its third and final season.
Former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Eric Dane reveals ALS diagnosisThe actor revealed to People that he has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Former "Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane revealed he has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
The 52-year-old shared the health update with People, saying, "I have been diagnosed with ALS," and adding, "I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter."
ALS, short for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a degenerative neurological disorder where the symptoms worsen over time, according to the National Institutes of Health.
The NIH notes that ALS causes motor neurons, a type of nerve cell in the brain and spinal cord to deteriorate, causing the muscles to weaken and eventually leads to paralysis, taking away a person's ability to move, speak or even breathe.
There is currently no known cure for ALS but some treatments, including FDA-approved medications and physical and speech therapies, may slow down the progression of the disorder and improve an ALS patient's quality of life.
Dr. Leah Croll, a neurologist for Maimonides Health, told ABC News that a person's age is considered to be one of the risk factors of ALS.
"Most people will be diagnosed somewhere between the ages of 40 and 70. And typically, the average age of diagnosis is about 55," Croll said. "There's really only two known risk factors for ALS. One is a family history of it and the other is age. So the older you are, the more likely you are to get it."
Dane, who has built a 30-year acting career, shot to fame amid six seasons on the hit ABC drama "Grey's Anatomy," where he played Dr. Mark Sloan, affectionately known as "McSteamy."
More recently, the longtime actor portrayed Cal Jacobs, the head of the Jacobs family, on "Euphoria."
Dane told People that despite his diagnosis, he's continuing to work on the hit HBO show, which begins filming its third and final season on April 14.
"I feel forunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to [the] set of 'Euphoria' next week," Dane said.
But Dane, often in the spotlight, is also requesting space, telling People, "I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time."
The actor is married to Rebecca Gayheart and the couple share two daughters. Gayheart had filed for divorce in 2018 but called it off in March 2025.

"Euphoria" is scheduled to begin production on its third and final season.

The actor is married to Rebecca Gayheart and the couple share two daughters. Gayheart had filed for divorce in 2018 but called it off in March 2025.
Ne-Yo has shed light on some important rules in his unconventional relationship with four women simultaneously. Weeks after introducing his multiple partner, he addressed one burning question: Are his girlfriends allowed to date other men?
"No... no they are not," the singer stated firmly in a recent interview with Angie Martinez on Power 105.1. However, he was quick to clarify that these constraints were not his imposition but an arrangement initiated by the women themselves.
"When I got with these women, I did not ask for their exclusivity. They came to me and said, 'I want to be exclusive to you and just you,' " explained the "Miss Independent" hitmaker, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith.
He described how he was transparent from the get-go, ensuring they understood that while they would be exclusive to him, his exclusivity to them wasn't guaranteed.
However, Ne-Yo emphasized that honesty is the cornerstone of their relationship. "The main rule is to just keep it a buck. We're not gonna lie," the musician stressed.
He elaborated that this arrangement sprang from a period of introspection following his divorce from Crystal Renay in 2022. To avoid repeated heartaches, the Grammy winner chose "radical honesty" as guiding principles.
NE-YO's polyamorous relationship includes Cristina ("Pretty Baby"), Arielle ("Twin Flame"), Moneii ("Phoenix Feather"), and Bri ("Sexy Lil' Somethin' "), who he introduced via Instagram and described collectively as his "Pyramid."
While NE-YO has the freedom to date outside this circle, he said he had no interest in doing so. "I'm good. There is no random hookups here and there," he said. "I couldn't wish for a better situation, to be honest."
While Ne-Yo said, "What I say goes. So if I say no, it's a no," he insisted the arrangement was mutual. "If for whatever reason you decide this isn't for you anymore, the door is never locked," he added. His approach aims to bring everything "out on the table" and leave room for anyone uncomfortable with the setup to exit freely.

Mick Jagger, 81, Engaged to Melanie Hamrick, 37

Mick Jagger is rolling over a new relationship stone. The Rolling Stones frontman is engaged to his longtime partner Melanie Hamrick, the retired ballerina confirmed to Paris Match April 9.
In fact, Melanie told Paris Match that Mick—who she first met in early 2014 and began dating later that year—has been her fiancé for about "two or three years."
“Maybe one day we'll marry, maybe not," she continued. "We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything."
And while Melanie, 37, is excited to spend forever with Mick, 81, she also admitted that their love story was sort of a slow burn. After all, Mick was still dating the late model L'Wren Scott when they were introduced in Japan, where the Stones and the American Ballet Theatre were both touring at the time.
"We didn't even exchange phone numbers," Melanie admitted. "At the time, I wasn't in a relationship, but he was.”
Acknowledging that there was "maybe a spark," she added, "But nothing incredible, like, 'Come on, I'll blow your mind and we'll travel the world.'"
Prior to his engagement to Melanie, Mick was married to actress Bianca Jagger—with whom he shares daughter Jade, 53—from 1971 to 1978, and fathered seven children with other past partners: Karis, 54, Elizabeth, 41, James, 39, Georgia May, 33, Gabriel, 27, and Lucas, 25, as well as late daughter Corrina, who was stillborn.
In 2016, two years after the musician's relationship with Melanie was revealed, the couple welcomed Mick's eighth kid, a son named Deveraux, now 8.
And throughout their romance, the pair have faced speculation over their 44-year age gap—an aspect of their love story that Melanie insists she would otherwise not feel the need to address.
“I don’t think about it," she told The Times in September. "Everyone’s going to have their opinion. If you think about others’ opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem and you’re going to analyze it."
To block out the noise, Melanie shared that she has chosen to "put the blinders on."
"Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No," she added. "OK, they can mind their own business.”

Bowen Yang Opens Up About “Painful and Detrimental” Experience With Conversion Therapy
Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang is opening up about the “painful and detrimental” experience of going to conversion therapy.
In a preview for NBC’s Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist, Yang and the Sunday Today host discussed how The Wedding Banquet actor was put into gay conversion therapy by his parents when he was a teenager. “I ‘came out’ in a sense that my parents just sort of stumbled upon something, and they were like ‘Oh, we didn’t realize this is what we were dealing with,’” Yang told Willie Geist in the video preview.
Yang said his parents didn’t know how to handle the situation. “I give them a lot of grace for that because they just had no context for it,” he said.
The comedian and actor explained that he was given an ultimatum by his parents that if he went to conversion therapy, he could then go to New York University and live with his older sister. “Those poor people did not realize that that’s one of the gayest schools in the country,” Yang joked, adding that the only way he could leave Denver was if he went to conversion therapy.
“I kind of played along, and I kind of just humored them and myself into seeing what it was,” the Las Culturistas podcast host said. Wang said at the time he didn’t realize how painful the situation would be, but that he’s had a large amount of healing since then.
Yang has opened about his experience multiple times in the past. The podcaster recently spoke about it with his co-host Matt Rogers and guest Lady Gaga after explaining how important the latter’s music was in his own queer identity journey. “I think I had come out of the closet again when ‘Born This Way’ came out because I went to conversion therapy, obviously did not work out,” he said on the podcast.
Yang’s full Sunday Sitdown episode is expected to air on April 13.
