Porn Star Mr. Marcus Sentenced to 30 Days In Jail For Exposing Co- Stars to Syphilis
Mr. Marcus a veteran porn actor in the business has been sentenced to 30 days in jail after after pleading no contest to knowingly exposing his co-stars to syphilis. The 42-year-old actor, whose real name is Jesse Spencer, was also ordered to perform 15 days of community service and serve three years on probation.
His infection surfaced in July of 2012 during a routine industry screening before he was to begin making a film. He immediately received a penicillin shot, but when he was rescreened 11 days later he still showed signs of syphilis. His syphilis was so bad he needed more than one shot? Wow! how likely is it that he had it for more than one year? I thought they were tested monthly? But anyway he ended up altering the results of that second test and returned to work the following day. ***Disgusting****
Mr. Marcus is jailed on $200,000 bail in an unrelated drunken driving case. An e-mail was sent to his management company seeking comment. Spencer has said previously he thought he was no longer infectious when he returned to work. Prosecutors said he took part in two adult movie shoots within a week of failing the second test. How he ended up being busted was the two co stars called the police after a producer discovered the altered test result. Neither woman contracted syphilis. A 30-day jail sentence is the least of his problems. How will he make a living now that most (if not all) of the women in the industry will refuse to work with him? His reputation is completely ruined in the industry now. I mean he couldn’t take time off to get better, but once again men and being selfish.. Thinking about immediate satisfaction….They should’ve thrown the book at him. The justice system goes far too easy on guys who knowingly expose their sex partners to STDs when the partners are brave enough to bring these cases to court. He got off with a slap on the wrist. What if it’d been AIDS and not syphilis? Any legitimate porn company would be a fool to hire him after he falsified test results due to liability alone.
