Due to Rating drops! Mona Scott-Young Replaces Most of the Cast of ‘Love and Hip Hop: New York’!
“Love and Hip Hop” executive producer Mona Scott-Young revamped the entire cast of the New York franchise and fans can expect new additions to be added to the crew.

Young was apparently fed up with the drama of the former ‘LHHNY’ crew and the bad ratings of season 8. The producer has allegedly brought back some of the originals members including rapper Joe Budden and his girlfriend Cyn Santana. The couple will allegedly star on the new season and give fans a glimpse of their relationship with their new baby Lexington Budden, according to Bossip.
The source reported that majority of the previous cast-members were fired from the show. Fans speculated cast-mates such as Brittany Taylor, Dream Doll, Snoop, Bianca Bonnie, DJ Self, Lil Mo and her husband Karl Dargan, James R, Sophia Body and possibly Mariah Lynn will not be returning for the new season.

Lynn actually wrote a tweet on Saturday that may have confirmed her departure.
“I think I might be time but I love everyone so much and I’m so grateful for the opportunity,” she stated. “It really has changed my whole life and helped me to learn so much about myself for that I will forever be grateful.”

However, Young does plan on bringing back Juelz Santana’s long-time girlfriend Kimbella and reportedly adding Maino and his girlfriend Maggie Carrie to the season 9 cast. The source reported that the “Hi Hater” rapper received a pretty nice offer of money to be on “LHHNY.”
Other members that are guaranteed to appear on the upcoming season are  Yandy Smith, Jonathon Fernandez, Kiyanne, Jacquae, Anais and her husband Ruben, Rich Dollaz, Safaree, Ju Ju (who will make guest appearances) and viewers favorite couple Remy Ma and Papoose.

The new season for “LHHNY” is still being filmed and VH1 has yet to announce the premiere date

Are you ready for “Love & Hip Hop London”? VH1 is Prepping “Spin-Off!

VH1 Prepping “Love & Hip Hop London” Spin-Off
The Love & Hip Hop franchise is expanding! Rumor has it, the hit VH1 series is heading across the pond, prepping Love & Hip Hop: London. Details are scarce at this point, but sources tell us that they’re already casting for London and filming has already began.

Over the past few days, a few of the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast – Teairra Mari, Bridget Kelly, Brooke Valentine, etc. – have been filming in London, sharing photos and footage of their international trip on social media, along with producers from the show.

Sources tell thejasminebrand that one of the reasons for the London trip is to introduce some of the Hollywood cast to the London cast.

Love & Hip Hop documents the personal and professional lives of several hip hop and R&B musicians, performers, managers, and record producers residing in varying regions throughout the United States.
The original franchise version, Love & Hip Hop: New York, premiered on March 6, 2011. Its success resulted in spin-offs located in Atlanta, Hollywood, and Miami.

The series is known for its sprawling ensemble cast, with over 200 cast members. The franchise has generated controversy since its inception, and is often criticized for tending towards a narrative format more commonly seen in scripted genres such as soap operas, and appearing to fabricate much of its storyline. However, it is one of the highest rated unscripted franchises in cable television history.
The show has aired continuously since May 15, 2014, with an incarnation of the franchise airing nearly every Monday on VH1. As of June 11, 2018, 301 original episodes of New York, Atlanta, Hollywood and Miami have aired over twenty seasons.

What are your thoughts on the potential Love & Hip Hop: London spin-off?

Lil Kim's VH1 Hip Honors Promo Pic! Glorious or Ghostly?

THE VH1“Hip Hop Honors” Photoshoot is out but Lil Kim but the skin tone is quite GHOSTLY!
Lil Kim Does it AGAIN!

We’re days away before the premiere of VH1’s "Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens" show. And before the show airs live, the female Hip Hop pioneers got dressed up for a promo photoshoot.
After a six-year hiatus, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Lil Kim and Salt-N-Pepa will be honored at this year’s all female show to celebrate their rise to the top of a male-dominated genre.

Brooklyn raptress Lil Kim has us scratching our heads with her new promo shot. The “Crush On You” rapper got made up in white make up and a winter white wig for the shoot seemingly channeling X-Men character Storm.  Interestingly, no one else in the shoot was in costume.  So...
She flossed her curves in a black lace corset paired with black lace stockings. While we're feeling Kimmy's ensemble for the shoot, we can't say we're feeling whatever the hell is going on here. Like, why is this photo happening?  WHAT is happening here?  Never before have we wanted this badly for someone to go buy some Fashion Fair and Iman Cosmetics and go to town on that face.
Meanwhile, Queen, Missy and Salt-N-Pepa slayed their pics for the promo shoot:
Get it ladies!

VH1's "Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens" airs Monday July 11th at 9/8c with performances by Common, Pharrell, Timbaland, Naughty by Nature and Da Brat.

BREAKING Gay Rapper Milan Christopher is coming to Love Hip Hop Hollywood!

BREAKING Gay Rapper Milan Christopher is coming to Love Hip Hop Hollywood!
Well the good news Milan Christopher is coming to Love Hip Hop Hollywood!, The bad news is he suspects he’s being shunned by most of the male rappers on the show because of being GAY!
Milan has been filming for 3 weeks and he says Ray J, Soulja Boy, Omarion and Mally Mall want nothing to do with him.

The Tea is a number of the rappers are upset with producers for hiring Milan … not because he’s gay but because he has no cred in the rap game. They believe producers hired Milan as a “sideshow” and a “circus” to BOOT!
Milan, who says he's a rapper/model, has worked with big rappers, but mostly as a writer.
We’re told at least 3 of the rappers on the show have made it clear to producers … they don’t want to film scenes with Milan. They won’t show up to parties or other events where Milan is present.
Even though Christopher has complained to “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” producers that he’s being ostracized, the bottom line is that the straight-guy rappers on the show don’t want to be seen with him because they say he’s a joke and …  he’s gay.

Well at least he’s making it in the entertainment industry, Congrats. Hopefully these dudes will get over it and be adults and just do what they’re paid to do WORK and where is their Hip Hop career now?
