Taraji P. Henson appeared to throw more salt in Ryan Seacrest‘s wounds Sunday night.
While chatting with E!’s embattled host about best supporting actress nominee Mary J. Blige, the “Hidden Figures” actress had a few choice words for Seacrest, 43, who was accused of sexual misconduct by former stylist Suzy Hardy.
“The universe has a way of taking care of taking care of good people,” Henson, 47, said, touching his chin. “Know what I mean?”
Henson immediately doubled down on the Seacrest shade as she moved on to her next interview.
“I’m great now that I’m in your company,” Vulture’s Mark Harris tweeted as Henson spoke with ABC’s Wendi Mclendon-Covey.

Seacrest was first accused of misconduct by Hardy in November, alleging he grabbed her crotch multiple times. E! concluded its investigation last month, noting they had found “insufficient evidence to support the claims against Seacrest.” The “American Idol” host has vehemently denied the claims against him.
“I have no choice but to again deny the claims against me, remind people that I was recused of any wrongdoing, and put the matter to rest,” Seacrest said in a statement.
The show did go on for Seacrest Sunday night, amid speculation he would be snubbed by A-listers on the red carpet. He found an ally Blige, 47, who said he is “fighting for his life right now.”
GQ’s 2016 Man Of The Year Usain Bolt, On Winning Gold And Retiring On Top
Nine-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt is one of GQ’s 2016 Men Of The Year alongside Ryan Reynolds and Warren Beatty.
Bolt told GQ’s Devin Friedman during their interview that he’s an admittedly lazy person. “I’ll call someone upstairs and say, ‘Pass me the remote,’” he says jokingly. For Bolt, his time off is about chilling out and watching TV.
Bolt can add binge-watcher to his list of accomplishments, too. He recently enjoyed the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie and also likes action flicks and “Veep” (what a mix).
During his off months, this laid-back approach to life is really just a hobby for Bolt, but this soon could be reality. He’s set to train for just one more world track championship in London next summer, but says his impending retirement is because he’s “too competitive.” He continued, “That’s why it’s time for me to go. The drive – I know it’s going to start going down.”

Kenya Moore accused of faking Matt Jordan's 'abusive boyfriend' storyline
Matt Jordan, the on-again, off-again boyfriend of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore, is accusing her of faking their storyline on season 9 of the hit Bravo reality TV series.
Fans have watched Kenya and Matt’s relationship blossom during last season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kenya quickly became smitten with the personal trainer who is 15 years younger than her, and it seemed like things were going well between them because Matt even introduced Kenya to his family in a in a previous episode. But couple got into a major fight when Kenya posted a Throwback Thursday photo of herself with hip-hop star Jay Z during a video shoot from her days as a ‘90s video girl. Matt got upset with Kenya and he yelled at her and punched a wall, according to Vulture. Kenya said that she felt that Matt was too immature and insecure to handle being in a relationship with her.
But the fighting continued during this week’s episode of RHOA. Kenya was upset and crying over the phone to her friend and co-star Cynthia Bailey after an explosive fight with Matt. Kenya explained that Matt had arrived at her home, Moore Manor, at around 2 o’clock in the morning and he had been drinking. Because they hadn’t spoken since their last fight, Kenya refused to let Matt into her home and that’s when things got violent. Video surveillance footage showed Matt walking up to Kenya’s garage door and kicking in one of the windows, damaging her property.
Jordan recently spoke with Radar Online and during his interview, he revealed that the explosive fight had been staged for the show, and that Kenya was the one who allowed him to damager her garage door
“Miss Moore requested I do that and certain things to build her storyline,” Matt told Radar Online. “I never broke anything that wasn’t already planned to happen. It was agreed upon prior to it. It was per her decision to boost her storyline on the show.”
“I was convinced it would be a good idea to do,” he continued. “She got the police report to show she has a crazy boyfriend. That really hurt. I didn’t think she would go that far and do me like that.”
Matt mentioned the police report that Kenya filed shortly after their fight, which took place in August. According to the reports from the Sandy Springs Police Department, Matt was suspected of damaging Kenya’s garage door as well as an outdoor security camera and her Range Rover.

The information that Matt provided in his interview is similar to information he revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post where he wrote a lengthy caption accusing Kenya of lying and faking an “abusive boyfriend” storyline for the show. Atlanta-based gossip site Straight From the A obtained a screenshot of the caption, which has been transcribed below:

There were no cameras around in Mexico when the door was kicked in and police escorted him out. There were no cameras the now FOUR times my home was vandalized. There were no cameras filming when my neighbors called 911. There were no cameras filming when the Vegas hotel kicked him out for being violent and destroying the hotel room. There were no cameras around when I posted bail, paid for tickets, back owed rent to keep from being evicted, or never left his side when he cried in my arms to take him back countless times. And there were no cameras around when he got arrested for a felony last month (for the 4th time in a year) tazed, handcuffed and fled on foot. There were no cameras when he was banned from filming because of his violence.
I’m not playing the victim. I’m fighting back. I Will not continue to be abused by someone who now wants to exploit something I was accused of 5 years ago by a scorned lover as payback to hurt me to justify violent his behavior.
The only thing Matt is guilty of is acting a fool. Yet to continue to abuse me by claiming to be an actor is a joke.

New Music: Stream The-Dream’s ‘Love You To Death’ Ep
The-Dream is back! His new EP. Love You To Death marks Terius Nash’s second project of 2016 – his first was the TIDAL-exclusive visual album Genesis – but his first audio drop since last year’s Sam Cooke inspired IamSam EP and the Crown EP.
Six tracks in length, fans of The-Dream will find that, though he’s been away for a minute, the producer’s penchant to craft hypnotic songs is still here. Relationships remain his primary topic in the lyrics. On “Madness,” Dream reflects on how a relationship went left (“I would’ve gotten better if you stayed with me”) and also falls prey to lust over a scaled-back, piano-driven instrumental. “College Daze” is a clever play on a disagreement between two lovers, as the singer insists they’re still the best available options for each other. “Rih-Flex” pays an obvious homage to Rihanna. The soft melodies and storytelling all flow well together, with the sole upbeat song, “Ferris Wheel,” being the outro cut.
Love You To Death ends before it really takes off, clocking in at under a half hour. But for fans of The-Dream and even potential new listeners, the EP does provide a few tracks that might fit on the Cuffing Season playlist. It also lets us know that, when it comes to love, the self-professed “Love King” will always have something smooth to add to the conversation.

New Hip Hop Video: Common – ‘Letter To The Free’
In the midst of the current political climate, Common delivers the poignant video for “Letter to the Free.”
The powerful song, which he crafted with Karriem Riggins and Robert Glasper, delves into slavery and mass incarceration. “We dealt with the whole subject matter from slavery to Jim Crow to mass incarceration which is what we’re dealing with right now,” the Chicago rapper told Billboard. “We wanted to make something that was strong, unapologetic, but that was also hopeful.”
The black-and-white clip, directed and shot by Bradford Young, opens in a jail. Common can be seen rapping alongside musicians as a black box floats across the screen. Plus, look for cameos from Andra Day and Bilal.

With the help of Malcolm Spellman, producer and writer for Empire, and Ben Watkins, producer and writer for Burn Notice, the duo will be co-writing the TV version as a 2016 remix of the original Foxy Brown, played by Pam Grier.

Entertainment Weekly reports: The episode tips its cap to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Roaring ’20s novel, revolving around the doomed friendship between Mr. Burns and a mysterious hip-hop mogul named… Jay G. The story, which is narrated by Homer instead of Nick Carroway, takes place at Burns’ summer mansion in the Springfield Hamptons, and sees Jay G and Burns becoming friends before Jay G sends Burns into bankruptcy and assumes command of the nuclear plan, prompting Burns, Homer, Bart, “force of nature” Praline (Henson), and Jazzy James (Key) to exact revenge on Jay G.

Kelly Rowland & Baby Titan looks cute On Parents Magazine Cover
R&B singer Kelly Rowland and her precious baby boy Titan Witherspoon are gracing the cover of Parents magazine’s February 2016 issue. And the mother-son duo is melting our hearts with their insanely cute cover and spread.
In the cover story, the fab mom talks about juggling her career all while being a hands-on mom to her 14-month old son, whom she shares with husband Tim Witherspoon. She reveals "patience and confidence" are the keys that have helped transition her into motherhood.
But, she wasn’t always confident about stepping into motherhood. Like many first-time mothers, she felt super nervous about having enough patience to care for her baby boy.
"I was nervous that I didn't have the patience to be a good mom, because before Titan I had zero. But now I am very patient. The Bible verse 'love is patient' is real! I am much more laid-back now. I don't make the little things into big issues like I once did.”
After giving birth to her first child, we watched Kelly morph back into her pre-baby bod. It didn’t seem like it took her very long to bounce back (she kept up a healthy exercise routine while she was preggo) and she credits that to burning crazy calories in spin classes and working one-on-one with a fitness trainer.
While some new mothers can’t afford a trainer, she offers up some great advice to new moms who are working diligently to drop the baby weight. First she advises,
"Write on your mirror in lipstick: 'I had a baby. I'm a superhero.'"
Then, she urges new mothers to not get discouraged when trying to lose weight. She motivates them to stay the course because losing the weight will take time, but you shouldn’t beat yourself up over it. She drops some inspirational words saying,
"It takes about a year to get the weight off. Don't beat yourself up if it takes even longer."

Gov Paul LePage of Maine widely criticized for racially charged
comment at Bridgton meeting!
Maine Gov. Paul LePage made a racist claim about his state's heroin epidemic on Wednesday, alleging men with nicknames like "D-Money" are coming from cities to sell heroin and "impregnate" Maine's white women. During a town hall meeting in Bridgton, Maine, LePage was asked how he plans to address the state's heroin epidemic. The first step, LePage said, is beefing up enforcement. "Now the traffickers ... These are guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty, these types of guys. They come from Connecticut and New York, they come up here, they sell their heroin, and they go back home," LePage said. "Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young, white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue that we've got to deal with down the road. We're going to make them very severe penalties." LePage's office didn't immediately return a request for comment. The governor's office did provide comment to the Portland Press-Herald, which first reported the remarks. "The governor is not making comments about race. Race is irrelevant,” LePage communications director Peter Steele said. “What is relevant is the cost to state taxpayers for welfare and the emotional costs for these kids who are born as a result of involvement with drug traffickers. His heart goes out to these kids because he had a difficult childhood, too. We need to stop the drug traffickers from coming into our state."

Maine, like many other states, has seen a major spike in heroin treatment and overdoses in recent years. LePage has previously called for greater enforcement against out-of-state dealers, and said last year he would consider using the state's National Guard. State lawmakers are considering a bill to help ease the crisis that would include money for Drug Enforcement Administration agents and other law enforcement, in addition to funding for treatment programs and facilities. LePage, however, has threatened to veto the bill for what he said was favoritism toward treatment facilities receiving funding. In August, a drug addiction clinic in Sanford, Maine, closed its doors, blaming LePage's policies. "In Maine, Governor LePage is discussing calling in the National Guard to combat the state's drug epidemic while leaving multi-million dollar grant opportunities for funding treatment on the table," Charles Faris, the president of Spectrum Health Systems, said.
LePage has made many offensive remarks during his time in office and may soon face impeachment. Democrats in the state legislature plan to move forward with an impeachment motion next week.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss Tucker and her husband Todd Tucker welcomed their precious baby boy Wednesday. And now we know his name: Ace Wells Tucker!
The 39-year-old singer explained why she chose the name Ace telling E! News, "We named our beautiful baby boy Ace because I wanted something unique. When he becomes school age, hopefully he won't have to worry about another person in the class having his name."
She added, "More than that, Ace represents the number 1 and that of the highest quality and our baby Ace is definitely that! His middle name Wells was Todd's mother's last name. Using her last name as his middle name was our way of honoring her memory."
Aww! What a nice way to remember his mom. And guess what? He already has his own Instagram account. Ha!
As expected, Kandi and Todd’s family and friends are ecstatic that Baby Ace has made his arrival. So, all of Kandi’s friends have been stopping by to get their first look and to meet the little bundle of joy.
Kandi’s former Xscape band mate Tiny, who’s also pregnant, stopped back to check on her friend and new baby. The “RHOA” star said, "I was happy to see my sis @majorgirl today. I'm mad we didn't get to do a pregnancy belly pic together. We should've thought of that before today! Lol!
A few of Kandi’s cast mates also dropped by including newly engaged Demetria McKinney and Phaedra Parks even made an appearance. Nice to see Phaedra stop by to visit her friend even after all of their drama. The R&B singer’s bestie Carmon and her friend Tobey Renee also dropped by.

Aretha Pays Touching Tribute To Natalie Cole, Brings Crowd To Their Feet
The Queen Aretha Franklin performed at her concert in Connecticut on New Year’s day and she paused from her original set to give one of the most sincerest, beautiful tributes to the late, great Natalie Cole. It was so perfect that it brought the house to it’s feet and had some of the crowd in tears.
It’s been a few days now since we lost Ms. Cole on December 31, 2015, and it’s still very difficult for many of us diehard Natalie Cole fans to digest the fact that the “This Will Be” Queen has made her grand exit from this earth. Natalie has given us so much emotionally through song, that it takes a special singer to be able to give back to her emotionally in the same manner that she gave to all of us while she was here.

Aretha performed to an overpacked house that was not prepared for the amount of people who showed up to see her do her thing. After a video went viral last week of Aretha singing “You Make Me Feel” honoring the honorees at the Kennedy Center, where she even brought President Obama and Michelle Obama to their feet, the Mohegan Sun’s Arena in Connecticut had to add 300 extra seats at the last minute to accommodate everyone who wanted to attend the concert and get that Aretha feeling that they’d just seen on the video. That is how you reign supreme after 60 years in the music business.
Overall, it was such a beautiful moment to see one legend pay homage to another legend. May Natalie Cole rest easy, she will most definitely be sorely missed.
Janet Jackson CLEARED To Continue “Unbreakable” Tour

According to EXTRA, doctors have cleared the “No Sleeep” singer to continue her tour in Europe! A few days ago, rumors began circulating online that Janet was suffering from a throat tumor that could possibly end her career causing her to postpone her worldwide tour.
While details of her actual prognosis are unclear, one thing is for sure, Janet will be returning to the stage overseas starting March 30th. She still has to have surgery soon though.
Luckily, she has her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana to help nurse her back to health. She also wants to setting the record straight about her health condition. Wednesday night, the 49-year-old singer released a statement on Instagram, contradicting reports that she had cancer. Her message read:

For the longest time rapper Keith Murray kept his homosexuality a secret from his fans.

Golden State Warriors star Andre Iguodala does not want his daughter to play basketball because he’s afraid she’ll become a lesbian.
via TMZ: Clayanna Warthen testified Monday in a child support hearing, Andre had issues with 6-year-old daughter London playing basketball at school because he was worried she might “turn into a lesbian.”
TMZ Sports broke the story, Warthen wants Iguodala to pay $58k a month in child support … up from 16k a month. She says her daughter is a genius with a 151 IQ, already reading Harry Potter books.
Warthen grouses her baby daddy isn’t even paying for her full tuition and has shunned her, not even bothering to call on Christmas. Warthen says Iguodala saw London for a grand total of 9 hours in 2015. She says it’s so bad she needs money to cover London’s therapy.
Iguodala’s lawyer fired back, saying Warthen is trying to take his client to the cleaners. The lawyer says Warthen wants money for a personal chef and $7k for floor seats at 76ers games.
Iguodala’s lawyer says Warthen’s requests are “a prescription for spoiled children.”
Not only is Andre’s alleged reasoning ridiculous, Clayanna’s request for $58,000 a month in child support is ALSO ridiculous.

But our production sources say Amiyah never walked off ... she just didn't make the cut because she brought nothing interesting to the table ... being transgender doesn't make you automatically interesting.
As for claims she was forced to wear lingerie ... producers say that's ridiculous. Porsha Williams -- who has a lingerie line -- thought Amiyah was beautiful and made the offer and Amiyah declined ... simple as that.

Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch’s Stepdaughter Detained After Unpaid Uber Fare
Police said Monday that U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s stepdaughter was briefly detained at a police station last week, after a quarrel with an Uber taxi driver over an unpaid fare.
Via GigiOnThat; Kia Absalom, 21, was riding in the car on Monday, Dec. 28. She believed her fare was automatically paid through the Uber ride-hailing app, as is the practice with most of the cars available on Uber, police said.
But the driver was signed up for the UberT service, through which riders can pay with cash or credit cards but not through the app.
“I asked her to pay me,” taxi driver Hassan Almaweri told the Daily News. “She said, `No, I paid by the app.”’
The two quarreled over the fare, and he drove her to a Brooklyn police station.
After it was determined she owed him about $20, she said she had no cash or credit cards on her, police said. She was detained for about a half-hour in a cell while her boyfriend came to pay the fare, they said.
After she paid, she was released, and police said her arrest number was voided.
She was not fingerprinted or booked, police said.
Messages left with the attorney general’s office and Absalom weren’t immediately returned Monday.San Francisco-based Uber declined to comment.
Police said they were reviewing what happened.
Mathew Knowles' Wages Being Garnished For Child Support
At least one of Mathew Knowles' baby mamas is getting her pay day.
In case you forgot, Mathew Knowles fathered at least two children outside of his marriage with Tina Knowles. While the mother of his son says she's homeless and receiving food stamps to get by, Taqoya Brandscomb, the mother of Knowles' 5 year old daughter, is raking in the dough.
According to Bossip, when Brandscomb told Mathew that she was pregnant, he attempted to pay her $225,000 in hush money. Last month a Houston family court judge ordered to garnish Mathew's wages. Mathew Knowles is now forced to pay his baby mama $70,822 in back child support plus interest, along with $1,496 a month in regular child support. He must also pay for his daughter's medical insurance, as well as $50,000 for Brandscomb's attorney fees. Smart move by Taqoya for not taking the hush money.
