Danai Gurira Looks Beautiful For ‘Ebony’ Magazine [Photos]
Black Panther starlet Danai Gurira looks absolutely radiant for the new cover of EBONY magazine. The actress, playwright, producer and activist is the epitome of #BlackGirlMagic in these beautiful images shot by renowned photographer Dennis Leupold.
“Growing up at a time when you didn’t often see yourself represented in popular media, #EbonyMagazine was always that source of edification celebrating Black voices, history, and achievements. Really enjoyed shooting this cover and sharing my story with them. Thanks so much @ebonymagazine,” said Gurira on social media.
According to EBONY, Gurira rocked to Diana Ross‘ classic 70s hit “The Boss” while doing her photo shoot.

#RHoA: Kim Zolciak Says NeNe Leakes Tried to ‘Kick’ Her at ‘RHOA’ Reunion
Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes just can’t kiss and makeup. After Andy Cohen admitted he felt the Don’t Be Tardy star was ganged up on by her castmates during last month’s explosive Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, the two women reignited the drama between them over social media on Monday, May 21.
“Atlanta this season, I had a really rough time with the last chunk of that when Kim was on because it got very… I hate a five against one situation,” Cohen said during a recent appearance on The Jenny McCarthy Show. “It is a gang up and the problem is that Kim was not …  It’s less problematic when the person is good at taking up for themselves and Kim was not having an easy time with her words …  No one was listening to me and I really did not have control of the room and I wish that I had walked off.”

Leakes was the first to respond to the Watch What Happens Live host’s comments on Monday, writing, “If Kim was gained up on, she deserved it! That’s what happens when u talk reckless abt EVERYBODY! Oh & no one cared abt me getting gained up on season 7. Think Dr Jeff situation, wearing all white at the reunion. Cynthia, peter, Claudia, Kenya & Kandi all had something 2 say 2 me. I don’t remember anybody caring🤷🏾‍♀️ just sayin.”
The former Glee actress added: “Just replying back to everybody blowing me up abt this video just saying! Just answering the people.”

Later on Monday, a fan tweeted about the interview to Zolciak, commenting that Cohen saying the reality TV star was “ganged up on blows [her] mind.”

“Sweetie you didn’t see an 1/4 of what happened this season or an 1/8 of reunion! I had positive moments Irregardless Im comfortable w/ who I am and what I stand for it’s television!” Zolciak tweeted. “The reunion was disgusting! Nene trying to kick me, girls making fun of my children, mocking my … Husband, I do not pick on people’s children, husbands! You are clueless human being! Sending love and light.”
“Living MY dream!” added the “Google Me” singer, who is currently filming season 7 of her family’s spinoff after briefly halting production due to the drama.

The problems between Leakes and Zolciak started during season 10 of RHOA after the latter’s daughter Brielle Biermann took a video that she claimed showed roaches in Leakes’ home. As a result, the women on the series called Zolciak racist during the reunion. She was slammed for making a comment that racism isn’t “real” and apologized for her comments in a lengthy statement at the time.

“During the last RHOA reunion episode, I made a comment that confused and offended people. I sincerely apologize,” the statement read. “Edited out of context, I understand why my remark angered people. Racism is a sad reality in the United States. It has been prevalent throughout our country’s history. Let me be very clear, I do NOT support, tolerate or put up with any form of racism, hate or other discrimination. My love for ALL people runs deep — I am open to all and always have been.”

#Empire Co-Creator Danny Strong has a New lawyer series on Fox that will shoot in Chicago
Fox has ordered a new series about lawyers from one of the creators of “Empire,” and like that hip-hop-flavored hit, it is expected to be shot in Chicago.

“Proven Innocent” will star Rachelle Lefevre, who played reporter Julia Shumway on CBS’ “Under the Dome,” as the head of a law firm that investigates cases believed to be wrongful convictions.
It comes from producer Danny Strong, who created “Empire” with filmmaker Lee Daniels.

Also in the cast are Russell Hornsby (“Grimm”), Riley Smith (“Frequency”), Nikki M. James (“The Book of Mormon”) and Vincent Kartheiser (“Mad Men”). The series pilot was shot in Chicago earlier in the spring, and a spokesman for producing company Twentieth Century Fox Television told the Sun-Times, “I know of no plans to move the show.”
That makes five broadcast network series filming here, along with “Empire” and NBC’s trio of “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.” and “Chicago Med.” All were renewed for another season in recent days.

The series order comes a year after the cancellation of another locally made law show, the “Chicago P.D.” spinoff “Chicago Justice.”

#HipHopNews: Meek Mill Shouts Out Drake In "What's Beef" Remix Snippet
It appears Meek Mill and Drake’s storied feud is truly a thing of the past. A snippet of Meek rapping over The Notorious B.I.G.’s “What’s Beef” emerged online featuring a shoutout to the OVO superstar.

“Is we beefing or rapping/I might just pop up with Drizzy like what’s –” Meek raps before the clip cuts off.
A post shared by Drake Official Fansite (@wordonrd) on
Meek and Drake were bitter enemies during one of the biggest beefs in recent Hip Hop history, instigated by the Dreamchasers boss calling out Drizzy for allegedly using ghostwriters in 2015. The two famously traded disses and insults before things finally settled down in 2017. Meek’s incarceration seemed to be the nail in the feud’s coffin, complete with Drake publicly lobbying for his rival’s release from prison.

In a recent interview with Hot 97, Meek entertained the idea of a collaboration with Drake. Prior to their feud, the two teamed up for 2015’s “R.I.C.O.” off the former’s Dreams Worth More Than Money album.

“It’s possible,” Meek told Hot 97’s Ebro Darden about working with Drizzy. “Everything is possible. I ain’t got no hate towards him and I don’t believe he got hate towards me. When I was in the situation, I seen in the media. He said ‘Free Meek Mill.’ That was when I’m at my down point, where I don’t really got anything going with music. A lot of people can say, ‘He wants to attach with what’s going on.’ I don’t really care about that. Before we had a little rap issue, I knew him as a person and he supported.”

The Pussycat Dolls is suing British Media Rag The Daily Mail for accusing them of being a part of a PROSTITUTION RING!
WOW! I know The Daily Mail can be vicious but…….. DAMN! On Twitter, a woman purported to tell the "truth" behind the girl group. Many media outlets picked up her comments and now one tabloid faces defamation claims for publishing her "unreliable" story without verifying.
Seen any of the news stories how the Pussycat Dolls was really just a prostitution ring with members of the girl group forced into sex with entertainment executives?

According to a new defamation lawsuit filed against the parent company of the Daily Mail, the wild tale was false. Now, The Pussycat Dolls Inc. and the band's manager Robin Antin are out to restore their reputations and punish one tabloid for what's being characterized as an "intentional, reckless and malicious publication."

The Pussycat Dolls were founded in 1995 by Antin as a modern dance troupe performing weekly shows at The Viper Room in Los Angeles. Christina Aguilera, Christina Applegate and Carmen Electra were among the revolving cast of dancers and singers. Eventually, the group evolved into a recording act whose debut album PCD in 2005 included several songs that landed on the charts. The six primary members of the recording group were Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt.

In October, another woman named Kaya Jones came forward to tweet about her own supposed experience with the group.

"My truth," wrote Jones. "I wasn't in a girl group. I was in a prostitution ring. Oh & we happened to sing & be famous. While everyone who owned us made the $."
That was just part of a tweet storm from Jones that included allegations that as a member of the group, she was drugged, blacklisted and walked away from a $134 million record deal.

Perhaps due to the fervor surrounding Harvey Weinstein last fall, or maybe because it was just a story too incredible to ignore, reporters began picking it up. Among the outlets to do so were Fox News, CBS News, the New York Daily News and the New York Post.

Now, the band's corporate entitity and Antin are in court to fight one of those publications who allegedly should have known better.

According to the complaint, "This defamation action arises out of the intentional, reckless and malicious publication by the Daily Mail Corporation... of false and defamatory statements made by a disgruntled, unreliable and biased person looking for her fifteen minutes of fame, Kaya Jones, when the Defendants knew through their direct prior dealings with Plaintiffs, or should have known, with even the most basic check, that Ms. Jones was unreliable and her story obviously false. Instead, for pure sensationalism, and advertising money, and to grab salacious headlines to sell their product, and without caring what it meant for Plaintiffs, their business, or their reputation, the Defendants published and commented on these defamatory statements with a reckless disregard for the truth."

This lawsuit figures to cast a shadow on a practice becoming increasingly common: taking statements on social media at face value and fair game for reporting without enough skepticism.

Although many stories characterize Jones as a former member of the group, the group itself considers that to be a stretch.

The complaint continues, "The extent of Ms. Jones’ credits in The Pussycat Dolls is when she auditioned, and served as a backup vocalist on the song 'Sway' released in 2004 and the song 'We Went as Far as We Felt Like Going' also released in 2004. Had the Daily Mail performed any investigation into this matter, such as reviewing album credits available on the Internet, they would have also seen this information."

The plaintiffs object to Jones self-portrayal as a core member or "leader" of the Pussycat Dolls. The complaint characterizes her as an "unreliable source," whose bias should have been evident "due to her failure to be chosen to be a member of the group and reunion."

Given that the band is in the public eye, attorney Richard Busch, representing the plaintiffs, appears to be focused on meeting the actual malice standard for a defamation case of this nature. That means knowledge of falsity or reckless disregard for the truth. Alleging that a media outlet should have done a more thorough investigation, however, might not be quite sufficient to support a public figure's defamation claim. (That could explain why other news outlets with stories about Jones' tweets have escaped becoming co-defendants. Or maybe it's because the Daily Mail has settled in the past. See Melania Trump.) What Busch highlights in the complaint (read here) is the Daily Mail's past interaction — it "interviewed and ran stories on Ms. Antin and the members of The Pussycat Dolls" — and a "close relationship" with Antin that plaintiffs argue would have made verification easy.

“I win either way,” second-place finisher Caleb Lee Hutchinson said.

Maddie Poppe won “American Idol” Monday ― and also triumphed in romance.
Before she was named the champion in the rebooted singing competition, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson announced that he and Poppe were an item.

“Well, Maddie is my pal and I’ve known her since the beginning of Hollywood week,” Hutchinson said. “And she actually happens to be my girlfriend.”……Bombshell.

Nick Jonas Spotted on Date With Bebe Rexha After Sliding Into Newly-Single Jenna Dewan’s Instagram
Nick Jonas‘ dating life has the Internet buzzing!

The “Anywhere” singer was spotted out with Bebe Rexha at dinner on Monday night, just hours after they both performed for the “American Idol” finale. The two tried to throw off photographers by arriving and leaving the popular hotspot Craig’s separately.
Wearing a dazzling silver jumpsuit, Rexha showed off every single one of her curves and couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she left the restaurant. When asked if the dinner date was for an upcoming music collaboration with Jonas, Rexha alluded that’s not exactly why the duo was together.

But she’s not the only Hollywood starlet that the 25-year-old heartthrob is currently linked to.

On the same night he was spotted out with Rexha, Nick Jonas was caught sliding into newly-single Jenna Dewan‘s Instagram comments. Dewan, who announced her separation from Channing Tatum in April, posted a sexy shot showcasing her outfit from the Billboard Awards.
“‘twas such a fun night!!! Thank you for having me!,” the 37-year-old wrote, to which Jonas responded, “‘Twas. Twasn’t it.” [h/t @commentsbycelebs]
While it seems it’s too early for fans to start commenting about his date with Rexha, it’s safe to say they’re all for Dewan-Jonas 2018.

‘LA To Vegas’ Comedy Series Canceled By Fox After One Season
Fox’s single-camera airplane comedy series LA To Vegas has been permanently grounded as the network has opted not to renew it for a second season.

As Deadline exclusively reported last week, Fox had been looking to get LA to Vegas executive producer Will Ferrell to appear in the Season 2 premiere in order to create buzz around the comedy’s return. I hear Ferrell was open to possibly guest starring in an episode next season but would not commit to doing the Season 2 opener. While not the crucial factor, that, along with the network’s reduced shelf space because of the addition of Thursday Night Football, contributed to Fox’s decision to cancel the comedy starring Dylan McDermott.

When discussing the then-pending renewal decision on the bubble freshman comedy on Fox’s upfront call last week, the network chairman Dana Walden noted that series creator/exec producer Lon Zimmet and executive producer Steve Levitan were working on Season 2 ideas and that “if we can’t find a way to make noise, we won’t do (a second season).”

LA To Vegas got off to a promising start with its premiere ranking as Fox’s highest-rated Tuesday comedy telecast in nearly a year and quickly earned an order for three additional episodes but its ratings have tapered off since.

The series follows an airline crew and the eccentric passengers who, every weekend, take a no-frills roundtrip flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with one goal in mind: to come back a winner. Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, creator/showruner Lon Zimmet, Chris Henchy, Owen Burke, director Steve Levitan, Josh Bycel, Jonathan Fener and Jeff Morton serve as executive producers.

With the decision on LA to Vegas, Fox has cancelled all of its existing live-action comedy series — all of them single-camera — with the exception of Ghosted, whose fate is still TBD. The network has on tap three multi-camera comedy series for next season, the Last Man Standing revival as well as The Cool Kids and Rel. Fox also has single-camera pilot Dan the Weatherman in consideration for possible reshoots and two off-cycle comedy pilots, Bless This Mess and untitled McElhenney and Rosell.

Cannes 2018: Ava Duvernay in Stella McCartney at the Closing Ceremony
Ava Duvernay in Stella McCartney at the Closing Ceremony. Take a Look!

First reaction: What a gorgeous color. Second reaction: What a surprisingly understated design from Stella McCartney. Granted, the half-cape, half-train effect is pretty Stella-esque, but the overall look is pleasingly conservative allowing the simple drama of the shape and color work in tandem with a woman who knows exactly how to wear something like this.
It’s a great look

The Daily Buzz For Feb 14 ☕📰☕

See Lupita N’yongo for Allure March 2018 give that BLACK HAIR AFFAIR!
Lupita Nyong'o fronts Allure's March cover in dazzling, bejeweled braids created by her longtime hairstylist, Vernon François. Inside the hair-themed issue, the Oscar winner opens up to editor-in-chief Michelle Lee about her fraught relationship with her hair growing up in Kenya and the lessons she's learned from shaving it all off. She also talks fame and what it was like to star in the history-making "Black Panther."

In an interview with Michelle Lee, Allure’s editor-in-chief, Nyong’o went deep about her relationship with her hair, the struggle of relaxers, and natural haircare. Black Panther, which finally hits theaters this week, made sure to represent a variety of traditional black hairstyles, from braids to fros and wigs, on screen. It goes without saying that black textures are more openly celebrated, but Nyong’o remembers having a hard time embracing her hair growing up. She recalls begging her parents to have her hair straightened:
“I was really kind of envious of girls with thicker, longer, more lush hair. In my tween years, I started begging my mother to have my hair relaxed. She wouldn’t allow it, though her hair was relaxed. She felt that that was a decision I could come to when I was maybe 18. Around 13 or 14, I had such a rough time with being teased and feeling really unpretty. My dad intervened and spoke to my mom about my hair, and she finally agreed.

Nyong’o says she stopped getting relaxers and felt liberated when she finally went bald, after her dad jokingly suggested she shave all her hair off. “It was almost a dare to myself: Can I live without hair?” she says, adding that her mother was “horrified” upon seeing her without hair. That reaction is probably familiar to many of us—the state of your hair as somehow a reflection of your mother’s love and achievements, not to mention her financial commitment since parents end up footing most of those salon bills:

I remember her saying that: “I’ve been growing that hair since you were born—how can you? Then I felt really self-conscious. It was hard to see the horror on my mother’s face. She was so disapproving, and I was so sensitive about it at the time, that I started to get scared that I had done the wrong thing.”

Another relatable struggle for me: Nyong’o says after leaving Kenya, she couldn’t find a decent hair-braider in the States:
Moving to the U.S. was very difficult because I didn’t have the same kind of support system. [Braiding] services were not readily available in Amherst, Massachusetts. For a long time I would braid my hair in Kenya and then spend months with the braids in when I got to the States so that I didn’t have to worry about my hair. Also, my hair did something very different in freezing weather, which I didn’t know how to handle. My hair needs moisture. It needs warmth. All of a sudden I was in this very cold environment, and my hair was bristly and dry and really hard to manage. One of the summers I went back home, I asked my aunt to teach me how to braid hair because I wanted to be able to do my own hair. I worked in her salon, and she taught me cornrowing, and twisting and plaiting.

There’s definitely great freedom in learning how to braid and upkeep hair that’s perceived as “difficult.” Nyong’o adds:

Even in Kenya—you’d think we are predominantly African and black out there—but when I finally had my hair natural, the hairstylist that I had been going to for so long with my relaxed hair didn’t know what to do with my natural hair and just kept offering me different chemicals to put in it. In the end I was like, “Why don’t you know?” And he was like, “We don’t learn how to do natural hair in school.” That baffled me. I just felt it was so unacceptable. So I couldn’t really learn what was good for my hair until I left, which is bizarre. Now, of course, things have really changed.

There’s now, as she notes, better visibility and a buttload of resources available to black women about natural haircare. With all this public knowledge about black hair, there’s also been new, debatable terminology. Nyong’o says:
But the term “African-American hair” is inaccurate because I’m not African-American. And I think the term “African-American” is often used as a racial term when it’s a cultural group that does not encompass every single person of African descent. So there’s that. So when you say “African-American,” you’re not actually addressing what you think you’re addressing. That’s a national identification, and it cannot be about the hair. I like the term “kinky.” Some people don’t like that term, but when I think about my hair, I think of it as African kinky hair.

Nyong’o, who gets done up by her hairstylist Vernon François, says she’s still learning herself. “You go on YouTube, and there are just so many different ways of upkeep of one’s natural hair. It’s honey and rosemary water and avocado-paste conditioning and whatnot. I’ve tried it all,” she says. “Now I love my hair. I love it because I’ve also been able to really embrace the stuff it can do. It’s like clay in the right hands.
Clay can be dirt in the wrong hands, but clay can be art in the right hands.”

#RHoA: Did Kenya Moore FAKE her Pregnancy story in order to save her job on RHoA?
Kenya Moore’s “pregnancy scare” Sunday night on The Real Housewives of Atlanta was reality show un-reality at its finest, according to sources

After the newlywed, 47, refused to include her new husband, Marc Daly, in the Bravo show, producers told her she wasn’t allowed to go on the Barcelona trip with the rest of the ladies, causing her to lose $100,000 for not being in the episodes a show insider previously revealed.

So, she concocted a scheme to keep herself from getting axed from the ATL, the source said.
“Kenya was in trouble with the production company after her husband refused to film with her at all. They told her she was going to get fired, and she had better do something to stay on the show,” the insider told Radar. “That was filmed after the women got back from Barcelona, not before.”

As previously reported, Moore took a urine and blood test at the doctor’s office after saying she was “six weeks late” and hopefully pregnant. The doctor told her the urine pregnancy test was “inconclusive,” and that they needed to do a blood test for better results.

It’s also said the producers did not believe Moore actually believed she was pregnant.

“No one believes a word that Kenya tells them. They knew she was desperate to stay on the show, so she made it all up. And it isn’t working, she’s getting fired after this season,” the insider claimed.

What do you think?

#EMPIRE: Fox Orders Legal Drama Pilot From Danny Strong & David Elliot
Fox has given a pilot green light to a drama from Empire co-creator Danny Strong and feature writer David Elliot (Four Brothers).

The untitled project (fka Infamy), a legal drama set in an wrongful conviction firm, had a script plus penalty commitment from the network. It hails from 20th Century Fox TV and studio-based Danny Strong Productions.

Penned by Elliot, the drama revolves around a legal team led by a fierce and fearless female lawyer with a hunger for justice. They reopen investigations, putting their own lives in danger to exonerate the innocent that were “proven” guilty. Our lead’s motivation comes from her infamous past; as a young adult she was found guilty and later exonerated in a high-profile case in which she became a tabloid sensation, household name and national celebrity. While a hero and a victim to some, her bold and bullish tactics garner her some enemies— one of whom will do anything to see her go down for a crime we know she did not commit.  We will watch her defend others as she fights to maintain her own innocence.

Elliot executive produces with Danny Strong Prods.’ Strong and Stacy Greenberg.

Fox now has picked up pilots this season from the key auspices behind its biggest drama series, Empire: co-creators/executive producers Lee Daniels (comedy Our People) and Strong (untitled Strong/Elliot drama) and executive producer Ilene Chaiken, who served as showrunner for the first 3 1/2 seasons (untitled Chaiken/Melissa Scrivner Love drama).

#NEWMUSIC from Tinashe “Faded Love” Feat Future
With her sophomore album Joyride on its way, singer Tinashe enlists Atlanta rapper Future for her newest single, “Faded Love.” The R&B-pop fused effort is the follow up to the Migos Offset assisted track “No Drama,” also featured on her forthcoming album.

When discussing having Future featured on the track, Tinashe disclosed the following, “I thought this song was an interesting song to put him on because I felt like it was more unexpected, kind of being like a bit more muted and not necessarily a trap song or something that would be obvious.”

The song is a groovy difference from its predecessor.

Joyride also features appearances by French Montana and West Coast artist Ty Dolla Sign.

#HIPHOPNEWS: Artist Accuses Kendrick Lamar Of Stealing Artwork For ‘All The Stars’ Video
Lina Iris Viktor, a British-Liberian artist, is accusing Kendrick Lamar of a copyright violation, claiming that her work was used without permission in the video for “All the Stars,” the SZA-assisted single off the Black Panther soundtrack.

Viktor claims that her gold-on-black design, as seen in her “Constellation” series, was copied for the background in scenes from the visual, which was directed by Dave Meyers and the little homies (Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free), according to the New York Times.

Her lawyer has reached out to TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith with a letter explaining her complaint. “The infringement of Ms. Viktor’s rights is willful and egregious,” the letter states. She is now willing “to discuss a resolution of all her claims, consisting at a minimum of a public apology for the unauthorized use and a license fee.”

Viktor claims that the video “incorporates not just the immediately-identifiable and unique look of her work, but also many of the specific copyrightable elements in the ‘Constellations’ series of paintings, including stylized motifs of mythical animals, gilded geometric forms on a black background, and distinctively textured areas and patterns, arrayed in a grid-like arrangement of forms.”

She calls this theft. “Why would they do this?” she asked. “It’s an ethical issue, because what the whole film purports is that it’s about black empowerment, African excellence — that’s the whole concept of the story. And at the same time they’re stealing from African artists.” However, Nancy E. Wolff, a copyright lawyer, says that Viktor’s case is “tricky because style is not protected.”

According to her letter, Viktor was contacted by representatives from and/or on behalf of Marvel, the comic book titan behind Black Panther twice in recent years. The first time, she says she was reached by Jay Hart, a set decorator, to feature “Constellations I” in the movie back in November 2016. In December 2017, she claims that she was asked to participate in a promotional campaign for the film. She claims she rejected both offers. It is unclear whether a similar design appears in the film.

Black Panther: The Album dropped on Friday, featuring appearances from 2 Chainz, ScHoolboy Q, Future, Jay Rock, James Blake, and Jorja Smith. The Ryan Coogler-directed film is set to hit theaters this Friday (Feb. 16).

Kim Cattrall’s Brother’s Memorial on Hold Due to Weather
The memorial for Kim Cattrall‘s brother will be held later this year because the weather in Alberta, Canada is just too cold to do it now.

Sources close to the family tell The Blast that Christopher was cremated following his untimely passing last week. We’re told the family wants the memorial to be held outdoors, near a lake Christopher particularly enjoyed.

But because temperatures in Blackfalds, Alberta have been below freezing lately, that just isn’t possible right now.

We’re told the family will have the memorial sometime this summer and the whole family will be in attendance.

Kim announced her brother’s passing on February 4 after she had posted a message the day before about his disappearance. His body was eventually found on his property and while there has been no cause of death announced, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have said the death is not suspicious.

Chris’ death sparked a war of words between Kim and Sarah Jessica Parker (or, rather, a one-sided attack by Kim) the highlight of which was Kim saying to SJP, “You are not my friend.”

So when we heard the network was doing a movie chronicling the courtship of former "Suits" star Meghan Markle and her soon-to-be husband Prince Harry, we were praying to the TV gods that they don't mess it up.

"Jessica Jones" actress Parisa Fitz-Henley will be bringing Meghan Markle to life on the small screen in LIFETIME's Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance. Casting directors did a good job appearance wise. She looks just like her. Let's just hope she can pull off the role. Meanwhile, "The Loch" actor Murray Fraser will play Prince Harry. They can die his hair and he'll be a very good match.

The film will give viewers a front seat look at how the former "Suits" star and the Prince were set up by friends to meet, follow through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress. We're sure her crazed family will make it in the film because they have been doing the most.

Menhaj Huda will direct from a script by Scarlett Lacey and Terrence Coli while Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss have signed on as executive producers.
Production has reportedly started in Vancouver and Los Angeles and the film will debut this spring on LIFETIME. Ummmmm They could have casted Philadelphia Eagles Quaterback Carson Wentz instead.

Take a look below.
Don’t you think so too?

Jordan Peele wins big at Writers Guild Awards
Jordan Peele’s Get Out was the big winner at the 2018 Writers Guild Awards, taking home the Original Screenplay prize, and Call Me By Your Name took the gong for Adapted Screenplay.
The Writers Guild Awards were simultaneously held in New York City and Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018.

Peele said in his acceptance speech: “This was a passion project. It was something that I put my love into, I put my soul into, so getting this from you means so much.”
James Ivory’s script for Call Me By Your Name took the gong for Adapted Screenplay, and the writer admitted he was shocked by the victory.

“The Handmaid’s Tale” was also among the big winners of the night, with the Hulu show beating off competition from the likes of “Game of Thrones,” “Better Call Saul” and “Stranger Things” to take the Drama Series prize.

The show also outdid “American Vandal,” “The Deuce,” “Ozark” and “GLOW” in the New Series category.
“Will & Grace” — which returned to screens last year for a ninth series, 12 years after its eighth season ended in 2005 — picked up the Episodic Comedy accolade for “Rosario’s Quinceanera,” which was penned by Tracy Poust and Jon Kinnally.

“Veep” lost out in that category but had a huge prize to celebrate when the political satire show picked up the Comedy Series award.
“Better Call Saul” had two nods in the Episodic Drama category and prevailed with Gordon Smith’s “Chicanery” episode.
The WGAs recognize the best writing in film, TV, video games and advertising. Amber Ruffin hosted the ceremony in New York and Patton Oswalt presented in Los Angeles.

#WINTEROLYMPICS2018: Chloe Kim Takes Gold For U.S. In Women’s Snowboard Halfpipe
The 17-year-old wins with a near-perfect 98.25 score.

American snowboarding prodigy Chloe Kim has taken the gold medal in the women’s snowboard halfpipe at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, topping the field with a phenomenal 98.25 score in the final, while fellow American Arielle Gold took the bronze.

Kim, the 17-year-old Californian, served up the near-perfect score on her last of three runs in the daytime final on Tuesday, a mark that none of the 11 other competitors could match. She is the youngest ever gold medalist in the halfpipe event.
It was the third gold of the Games for the United States, following fellow 17-year-old Red Gerard’s win in the men’s snowboarding slopestyle competition, and Jamie Anderson taking gold in the same event for women.

Even though Kim’s winning score came in her final run, she had secured the gold with her first score of 93. Her second run failed to impress, getting a 41 from judges, but her flawless third effort clinched her top position in what is her first Winter Olympics.

Gold, who had missed the 2014 Sochi Games due to injury, took bronze with a top score of 85.85.
