#RHOA: Here’s Why Kandi Burruss Doesn’t Agree With Kenya Moore’s Suspension From ‘RHOA’
As Kenya Moore’s peach for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 remains in limbo, one person coming to her defense is longtime friend and RHOA alum, Kandi Burruss. It’s been widely reported that Moore, who’s been on the show since Season 5, was suspended amid production for Season 16 as production investigates whether she revealed controversial images of newcomer Brittany Eady.
Eady has taken to social media with posts about revenge porn being a crime, while Moore maintains her innocence.
“I don’t like the fact that they suspended Kenya. I know a lot of people was like ‘she shouldn’t have shown that’ but this is housewives,” Burruss said during an interview with Streetz 94.5’s Streetz Morning Takeover. “How many times we done did something that you think somebody shouldn’t do? So who made the rules? Why do you all of a sudden got such an issue with somebody doing something crazy to somebody?” Burruss also said the alleged images in question of Eady were already searchable online.
She also said it’s par for the course on a show like RHOA, believing that when a person throws shade, the other party has a right to react however they choose.
She added, “If it was on the internet and the girl came at her then it’s like ‘ok well’. You don’t get to choose how she comes back at her. But I guess we’ll see when we watch the episode.”
Moore has denied being involved in any type of revenge porn.
In a recent comment on Instagram in response to a fan, she once again defended herself. “No one credible including my corporate employer has confirmed anything whatsoever. Therefore, everyone is literally running with unsubstantiated claims and false narratives… patience is a virtue and so is due process,” she wrote, per Bossip.

#HipHopNews: Cardi B Says She'll Put Out A Spanish Project After Releasing Her Sophomore Album
Six years after her albu Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B is already plotting her third album.
The “Hot S**t” rapper conducted a poll on her Instagram Story on Sunday (June 23) to gauge interest in a Spanish-language project. Singing along to her Peso Pluma collaboration “PUT EM IN THE FRIDGE,” she revealed that a whopping 79% of nearly 480,000 voters support the idea.
“OK, AFTER MY ENGLISH ALBUM,” Cardi B responded on Monday (June 24). Although her guest appearances on Ozuna’s “La Modelo” and Shakira’s “PunterΓa” proved to be smash hits both in the United States and abroad, fans are evidently more focused on the musician’s sophomore effort arriving on time.
“Girl, drop any album at this point!” one fan wrote in the comments section of Hollywood Unlocked’s reshare, while another argued, “She raps way better in Spanish. Her flow is much tighter.” Someone else, who was clearly unenthused by the announcement, said, “Just stop telling us and execute your plan already if you really wanna prove naysayers wrong instead of saying the same thing every year but not delivering.”
Despite the excitement for new music, the status of her next LP is a bit uncertain. In May, Cardi B took to Twitter to express her plan to relax for the year, focusing only on committed features and personal time. However, contradicting statements appeared in her Rolling Stone cover story, where representatives hinted that C2 will come out in 2024.
On June 16, the New York native asked fans if they were ready for an album announcement before stating that it was “coming real soon.” In the meantime, listeners still have relatively fresh records like “Enough (Miami)” and “Like What (Freestyle),” both of which came out in March.
Cardi B also featured on Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla’s “Wanna Be – Remix” and the remix of Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me” in 2024.
Will Smith To Debut New Music During Solo Performance At BET Awards
Will Smith has been gearing up to debut his new music. The actor portraying Mike Lowrey in "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" is set to perform his original unreleased song when taking the stage at the 2024 BET Awards.
On Monday, June 24, Connie Orlando, the EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at the annual award show, revealed the exciting news about the actor's upcoming performance. Connie said, "From his start as a rapper to The Fresh Prince to being a box office king as one of the Bad Boys, Will Smith is truly a global icon."
"And we are honored to welcome him back to grace the BET Awards stage," Connie continued. She went on to say, "We look forward to Will adding to yet another defining night for the culture that is not to be missed." However, she did not spill any further details about the forthcoming show, which will air live on the network on Sunday, June 30 at 8 P.M..
This year's award show will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson. The event will honor Usher with the Lifetime Achievement BET Award. Furthermore, many artists, including Ice Spice, Sexyy Red, Latto (Mulatto), Tyla, GloRilla, Shaboozey, Victoria Monet, Cardi B, Gunna and Common, are set to entertain viewers with their performances.
Will is expected to take the stage around two months following his surprise performance at Coachella. During J Balvin's UFO-themed set at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on April 14, Will joined J Balvin onstage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
The actor appeared on the stage as he exclaimed, "Coachella!" Improvising the lyrics of the "Men in Black" song, he rapped, "Here come the MIB, here come the MIB/ Nah, nah, nah/ The good guys dress in black, remember that/ Just in case we ever face to face and make contact/ The title held by me, MIB/ Means what you think you saw, you did not see."
At one point, Will and J Balvin showed off their skills in dancing. They moved their bodies to the sides several times as Will continued singing. Near the end of the performance, J Balvin was dragged by a number of unidentified people, who appeared to be Will's crew members, to get off the stage. Smith later pulled out a "Neuralyzer," the famous memory-eraser device from the movie.

Beyonce And Jay-Z Seen In Public For First Time After Avoiding Attention Over Diddy Connection
Beyonce and Jay-Z Seen in Public for First Time After Avoiding Attention Over Diddy Connection
Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z seemingly have slowly started making public appearances. The couple was seen enjoying an outing for the first time after it was rumored that they deliberately stayed low-key for weeks to avoid garnering attention over their connection to Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.
In new pictures, Beyonce and Jay-Z were photographed on a ride through The Hampston alongside their eldest daughter Blue Ivy. The couple and the 12-year-old enjoyed the drive in a vintage Land Rover Defender 110 from the late 1990s.
Holding up her phone, the "Cowboy Carter" artist was snapped documenting the outing in the classic SUV. Jay-Z opted for a white shirt for the outing, while Blue Ivy was seated at the back seat.
Their sighting arrived weeks following a wild conspiracy theory about their weeks-long absence from the publicity circuit. People believed that their opted to lay low due to their connection to Diddy, who was involved in sex trafficking and sexual assault scandals.
Instead of promoting her new album "Cowboy Carter" that she released in March, Beyonce seemed to "disappear." The Grammy Awards winner hadn't attended a single red carpet event since the iHeart Radio Music Awards on April 1.
An insider said that the couple is so "nervous" about drawing attention to their Diddy ties that Beyonce is purposely neglecting "Cowboy Carter" promo. "This was supposed to be Beyonce's time, with her much-anticipated country album out [just] two months ago. And yet, she is nowhere to be seen." the source told Page Six. "The album is slipping and Jay and B aren't reveling in the spotlight."
The insider added, "About a month before the [March 29] release, Jay-Z got up at the Grammys and whined that Beyonce had never won Album of the Year. But now what? Does he think she will win . . . for 'Cowboy Carter' with no promotion . . . no appearances and no wooing of the academy?" Breaking her online hiatus, Beyonce recently started to be active again on Instagram, making a bold return to Instagram on June 6.

The Legendary MTV News Has Been Shuttered, Archives now Deleted
Just over a year after Paramount Global shut MTV News down as a media organization, the MTV News website has been pulled offline and its archives, which included more than 20 years of writing and reporting, have apparently been deleted entirely.
When visitors attempt to visit MTV.com/news, they are instead redirected to MTV’s home page. That page, a reflection of how much the once mighty pop culture juggernaut has changed, features marketing for “Teen Mom” and the network’s other reality shows.
News content on CMT.com, which is also owned by Paramount, has also been deleted.
MTV News launched in 1987 with a weekly show hosted on the then-music channel by Kurt Loder that was soon expanded into nightly installments. It was a hugely featured aspect of MTV programming during the 1990s but with MTV’s sudden shift in focus to reality programming in the early 2000sm it was relegated to occasional late night airings and eventually pulled.
The news operation continued with an online presence, with a notable rebrand in 2016 in an attempt to compete with the likes of Buzzfeed, followed a year later by an abrupt about-face and the termination of nearly its entire staff.
Paramount pulled the plug on the MTV news organization for good in May, 2023 as part of a company-wide restructuring that included the laying off of 25% of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios/Paramount Media staff.
'Drag! The Musical' Sets New York Premiere with Joey McIntyre Starring Alongside 'Drag Race' Favorites
The brand new show Drag! The Musical is heading to New York this fall!
Alaska Thunderf*ck, who came in second place on RuPaul’s Drag Race season five and won the second season of All Stars, co-wrote the new show and she’s also starring in the musical for a limited run.
In DRAG: The Musical, two Drag Houses, both alike in indignity, vie for supremacy in a wig-snatching journey of fashion, family, and forgiveness. After a bitter split, two estranged queens bring their already simmering tensions to a boiling point when they open competing clubs. In this queen-eat-queen tale of spite and survival, there’s only one rule: No Lip Synching Allowed.
The cast will feature fellow Drag Race alum Jujubee and Jan Sport, plus drag favorite Lagoona Bloo, Broadway veteran J. Elaine Marcos, and New Kids on the Block star Joey McIntyre.
The musical will begin performances at Off-Broadway house New World Stages on September 30 ahead of an opening night show on October 21. Joey is playing a limited run through November 24 and Alaska is in the show through January 11.
In a statement, Alaska Thunderf*ck said, “When I first moved to Los Angeles, I dreamt of being an actor. Then I realized being an actor is hard, so I became a Drag Queen. Now, after almost 20 years of drag, I’ve written myself into a musical. I think New York audiences are going to love this sweet and simple tale of Drag Queens being cunty to one another. What I’m trying to say is: dreams really do come true.”
Alaska co-wrote the show with Tomas Costanza and Ashley Gordon. The musical will be directed and choreographed by Spencer Liff, who helmed the acclaimed Los Angeles run.
Jennifer Hudson Reveals Father Had 27 Kids(!) and Dreams of Holiday w/Entire Family Gathering
*Jennifer Hudson comes from a big family. Literally. Appearing on the finale episode of Your Mama’s Kitchen: Conversations from the Heart of the Home podcast, the daytime talk show host chatted about her family life while revealing her father had 27 kids.
“Your father had a big personality,” host Michele Norris said. “And you went with your siblings and went and found him at some point and found that you had a lot more siblings?”
“Yes, a lot of us. He had 27 children,” Hudson shared.
The news came as a shock to Norris, who noted “That’s a lot of children.” From there, People reports Hudson admitted that she never met all her siblings, but “that’s what we were always told.”
Upon finding out about her large family when she was 16, the singer made it her business to take a deeper look into the family.
“It was my dream to have all of us at this grand Thanksgiving or Christmas table, and we all sit and eat together — that was my goal at 16,” Hudson explained, adding that she ended up meeting six or seven of them along with the siblings she grew up with, Jason and Julia.
“We found quite a few of us,” the EGOT winner said while dropping another revelation. “And I’m the youngest of all of them.”
With Hudson knowing about her brothers and sisters, she revealed they discovered. As for them finding out about her, Hudson said it was her father’s side of the family that sparked the effort to get everyone together.
“When my grandma on his side passed, my siblings over there were like, ‘Y’all got a sister that can really sing, you should meet her,’” the entertainer revealed. “And eventually we all came together.”
As the mother to 14-year-old David Daniel Otunga Jr. — who she shares with ex, former pro wrestler David Otunga, Hudson is adamant about her son connecting with family. Having his relatives around to bond and hang out with is priceless.
“I love to try to make sure he has the closest thing to him… just making sure he has his cousin’s circle and that base and foundation. That’s part of why I had moved back to Chicago, because I wanted him to have the surroundings of his family around him growing up,” the “Respect” star voiced on the podcast.
“Now we’re here in L.A. and so we make a point to like, have our Sunday dinners. That’s one thing that’s very important,” she continued. “And then he has cousins that come in and out. One of them is here right now. And so to keep that family burning… So he has that same upbringing or going to see the loved ones I talked to.”
“We have a huge family,” Hudson added.” People like the fact that y’all are this close and your family is this big. Like, all of us are still very connected.”
Eddie Murphy Offers Definitive 'Shrek 5' Update and Promises Donkey Standalone Movie
Eddie Murphy will soon make a comeback as Donkey in the Shrek franchise.
During a press junket for his upcoming Netflix film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Murphy announced that the fifth Shrek can be expected before the end of the 2020s. Shrek Forever After arrived in 2010.
"We started doing Shrek four, five months ago, I recorded the first act and we'll be doing it this year," Murphy, 63, told the outlet. "We'll finish it up and there'll be another Shrek that's coming out. And there's a Donkey. Donkey's going to have his own movie. We're gonna do a Donkey."
Murphy guessed that Shrek 5 will debut in 2025. This comes as a treat to longtime fans who've been following the franchise since it began in 2001, with its superstar trio including Mike Myers as Shrek, Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, and Murphy as the aforementioned Donkey.
Murphy's comments confirm last year's reports that Shrek 5 was in the works, as well as fulfilling the actor's desire to return as his beloved animated character.
"I’d absolutely be open if they ever came with another Shrek, I’d do it in two seconds. I love Donkey," Murphy told Etalk last year. "You know, they did Puss in Boots movies. I was like, ‘They should have did a Donkey movie. Donkey is funnier than Puss in Boots. I mean, I love Puss in Boots, but he ain’t funny as the Donkey."
50 Cent Claims Hackers Made $300 Million In G-UNIT Crypto Scam
50 Cent’s social media accounts and website were hacked by a crypto scammer this past week, with the culprit reportedly making $300 million in profits as a result of the “pump-and-dump” scheme.
On Friday (June 21), a post believed to have been written by Fif promoting a cryptocurrency token dubbed “$GUNIT” appeared on his X account, which simply read “$GUNIT for winners only…” In response, a number of users purchased the coin, causing the price of the token to rise exponentially within an hour of the post.
The following day, the rapper and entertainment mogul took to Instagram to announce that his X account and ThisIs50 website were both compromised and that he was not responsible for the post promoting the “$GUNIT” token.
“My Twitter & Thisis 50.com was hacked,” the 48-year-old wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday (June 22). “I have no association with this Crypto. Twitter worked quickly to lock my account back down. Who ever did this made $300,000,000 in 30 minutes.”
Also referred to as a “rug pull,” the crypto scheme involving the fraudulent “$GUNIT” coin is par for the course in the blockchain community, as multiple celebrities’ social media accounts and websites have been hacked to promote a new token, only to cash out once the hype around the coin has peaked before steeply declining in value.
According to various outlets, Fif’s claim that the scheme netted sammers $300 million has been challenged, as the “$GUNIT” token had a total trading value of $19.4 million as of Saturday (June 22), when the fraud was exposed. However, a number of scammers made upwards of $100,000 from sales of the memecoin, with Dex Screener reporting that one coin holder sold $721,000 worth of the “$GUNIT” token alone.
This is not the first time 50 Cent has been associated with cryptocurrency, as he once claimed to have earned 700 bitcoins from sales of his 2014 studio album, Animal Ambiton. Yet, the rapper would later file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2015, claiming he never “owned either a bitcoin account or any bitcoin” during the legal proceedings related to that case.
Big Tigger Seemingly Responds to Ms. Pat After She Blasted Him on the Breakfast Club Over Radio Show Firing
Big Tigger has seemingly responded to Ms. Pat blasting him on the Breakfast Club over her and Shamea Morton’s unexpected firing from his hit Atlanta radio show.
Taking to Instagram, Tigger posted a cryptic message featuring a screenshot from an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article, highlighting the improved ratings since Jazzy McBee joined the show. The post also featured a quote from Ms. Pat saying, “It was great. I enjoyed working with Shamea and V-103… I was hardly ever there anyway. Things were picking up so much, I had to skip a lot of days.”
In his IG caption, Big Tigger wrote, “As reported in the @acjnews by @rodneyhoajc #MenLieWomenLieNumbersDont #HatersGoneHate.”
Last week, Ms. Pat appeared on the Breakfast Club, where she accused V-103 and Big Tigger of firing her and Shamea Morton out of jealousy and male ego. She claimed they were blindsided by the dismissal, saying, “Fired me before I could quit… I told them I was leaving in August, but they fired me first. I was blown away. I never thought I’d get fired from that job.”
Ms. Pat emphasized that she and Shamea Morton had no idea their jobs were in jeopardy. She believed her contract would be renewed while she planned to move on, but things didn’t go as expected. She accused Big Tigger of being a “hater,” suggesting his ego led to the decision to let them go.
Continuing, Ms. Pat said, “Tigger is the biggest d**n hater… We had a good show, and he messed it up because of his ego. I was shocked. I said, ‘Y’all gonna fire me? Do you know people get up to listen to me? And you’re gonna fire me and Shamea? And leave the DJ?!’”
Keke Wyatt Confirms Single Status After She’s Spotted With A New Man–‘Where’s My Husband? Well, I Don’t Have A Husband!’
Keke Wyatt is taking a break from gestation to set the record straight on her dating life confirming that she’s a single lady after apparently quietly splitting from her husband.
After posting herself alongside a new mystery man, fans wanted answers on where the singer’s third husband, Zackariah Darring (seen below), was.
“Where’s my husband? Well, I don’t have a husband. Boom, how about that,” she said, according to The Shade Room.
The “My First Love” singer also may have given a little insight into what ended her marriage when responding to a fan who expressed interest in her ex.
“Go get him. Let him choke your a**,” said the singer seemingly alluding to domestic abuse.
Wyatt and Darring share two of her 11 children and wed back in 2018. They also starred in WE tv’s Keke Wyatt’s World.
Still, the relationship has seemingly soured and Keke “keep a man on call” Wyatt has been posted up with automotive specialist Anthony Whitehead.
TSR reports that Wyatt and Whitehead were spotted out bowling together a week before the singer posted the pair having a backseat concert while headed out. When asked about their relationship status, she said,
“Girl, can’t just have a friend? Stop with all that. Okay, ’cause, like, I’m out here just chilling. Girl can’t just chill, have fun, I’m just having fun, chilling. That part,” TheShadeRoom reports she said.
A little pregnancy and chill never hurt anyone.
A post shared by Keke Wyatt (@keke_wyatt)
Wyatt has mastered the art of “mama gotta have a life too” as a mother of 11. The songstress is still touring, vacationing and dating. It’s giving work/life balance.
She also makes time to talk directly to her fans who want her to give the deets on how she keeps the doors of her boudoir open for business. When asked for relationship advice during an IG live, Wyatt responded,
“Honey, I ain’t got no room to give nobody no kinda nothing.”
Well, alright.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange expected to plead guilty, avoid further prison time as part of deal with US
The Justice Department has reached an agreement with Julian Assange to plead guilty to a single felony count of conspiring to unlawfully obtain and disseminate classified information, in a deal that is expected to resolve the WikiLeaks founder's charges in the U.S. with no further time in prison, according to court documents unsealed Monday evening.
The deal is expected to effectively bring to an end to a yearslong legal battle by the U.S. to prosecute Assange over the publishing of classified military and diplomatic materials that were leaked by former American soldier Chelsea Manning in 2010, including some that showed possible war crimes committed by American forces in Iraq.
According to a letter posted by U.S. prosecutors, Assange will plead guilty in U.S. federal court in the Northern Mariana Islands and is expected to return afterward to Australia, indicating prosecutors will not be requesting a judge sentence him beyond the term of time served for the five years he has spent in London's Belmarsh prison fighting extradition.
The plea deal would resolve charges federal prosecutors brought against Assange under the Espionage Act over WikiLeaks' publication of the leaked diplomatic and military documents that has come under criticism by First Amendment advocates over its potential implications for media freedom, as well as Assange's ongoing detention in the U.K. which has been widely condemned by human rights organizations.
The deal should mean that Assange will finally walk free after spending more than a decade in some form of confinement while seeking to avoid prosecution by the U.S.
For the past five years, Assange has been imprisoned in London's Belmarsh prison, one of the U.K.'s most secure jails, while he fought a U.S. extradition effort.
Before that, Assange spent seven years confined inside Ecuador's embassy in London, where he fled in 2011 to avoid potential sexual assault charges brought in Sweden. Assange was granted asylum by Ecuador's government, which permitted him to live in the embassy building while British police mounted a permanent watch outside.
But in 2019, Ecuador's government evicted Assange, and British police arrested him on the embassy steps. Although by then, Swedish prosecutors had dropped the sexual assault case, a U.K. court convicted Assange of breaching his bail conditions and sentenced him to 50 weeks in prison. Despite long since serving that sentence, he has remained held in Belmarsh ever since.
After his arrest in London, U.S. prosecutors swiftly revealed a sealed indictment charging Assange with conspiring to hack into a classified Pentagon computer network and sought his extradition. Weeks later, the Justice Department under the Trump administration then announced a second superseding indictment charging Assange with 17 additional counts of violating the Espionage Act.
That decision to prosecute Assange under the Espionage Act prompted heavy criticism from press freedom groups as well as major U.S. media organizations, which feared it risked setting a precedent that could criminalize any media outlet publishing classified information. Leading news organizations, including the New York Times, had urged the Biden administration to drop the case.
But the Biden administration continued to pursue the Espionage Act charges and after years of legal challenges, Assange appeared to be inching closer to extradition in the past year. But in May, Britain's High Court ruled Assange had grounds to again appeal against the U.K. government's effort to extradite him, once more prolonging the legal battle.
Amid the court fight, President Joe Biden earlier this year said publicly he was "considering" a request from Australia to end the prosecution against Assange.
An international campaign to free Assange has been ongoing for years, joined by celebrities and press freedom advocates. In 2019, a UN Special Rapporteur on torture criticized Assange's treatment by U.K. authorities, saying the handling of his case put in doubt Britain's commitment to human rights and that his treatment in Belmarsh amounted to "psychological torture."
Assange's wife, Stella Assange, has been helping lead the campaign to free him. Stella, who has two young sons with Assange, had said she feared for her husband if he was extradited to the U.S.
Speaking to ABC News outside Belmarsh prison last summer after visiting Assange, Stella said, "If he’s taken to the U.S., I can feel it that he will never come home."
