#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Gets New Reality Show on Lifetime
It’s finally happening! Everyone’s favorite Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, NeNe Leakes, is making her reality TV comeback. Of course, she’s not coming back to Bravo. That door is closed. Instead, she’s bringing her talents to Lifetime with a new show called Outrageous Love with NeNe Leakes.
Outrageous Love will bring the former RHOA star into a slightly different format of reality TV. Rather than documenting her life, this new show will allow her to talk about other people’s lives. The show is said to capture the “trials, triumphs, and tribulations of real couples.”
A press release explained, “The new series showcases wild clips of real people caught up in love as NeNe reacts and gives her personal insight alongside the action.”
NeNe’s new Lifetime show will be her first major project since exiting Real Housewives of Atlanta. Although she’s made some brief appearances on other reality shows, she essentially got blackballed due to her highly-publicized falling out with Bravo. Lifetime is doing us all a favor by putting an end to the NeNe drought.
NeNe isn’t the only former Real Housewives of Atlanta star clawing her way back onto our screens. Her on-again, off-again frenemy Kim Zolciak also just signed on for a new show called Got to Get Out. In the upcoming show for Hulu, Kim, Cynthia Bailey, and a handful of other celebs will be locked inside of a mansion, having to scheme their way out for $1 million.
Clearly, all of these ladies have come a long way since their RHOA heydays. We’re just happy to see them on our screens. Whether it’s a clip show on Lifetime or a ridiculous Hulu competition, we always appreciate any chance to see The Housewives.
Outrageous Love with NeNe Leakes premieres on Lifetime, Monday, July 1 at 10/9c.
#MusicNews: Bootsy Collins Announces New Project 'Album of the Year #1 Funkateer'
Bootsy Collins is on a mission to leave an indelible mark in 2024. The funk icon by no means has anything to prove at this juncture of his career. His 50-plus-year catalog is still reaching the world to this day.
But that’s beside the point. Collins’ 23rd album, Album of the Year #1 Funkateer, out Oct. 25 via Bootzilla Records/Equity Distribution, is all about a new generation.
He told Rolling Stone that the album’s newly released title track gives “the people what they wanted back in the Seventies: a sense of hope, joy and freedom.”
Collins sings on the funkified, feel-good groove, “It’s our constitutional duty to uplift our national beauty.”
Album of the Year # 1 Funkateer consists of 18 tracks, including the first single, “The Influencers,” featuring Westcoast Stone, Wiz Khalifa, Dave Stewart, Snoop Dogg, and Fantaazma. The album will also feature Musiq Soulchild, October London, Ice Cube, and others.
“When I start on a project now, it’s about getting the energy from people around me,” says Collins. “Then I proceed to gather transmissions from the universe to know what to talk about. It’s important to me to see who the universe brings to me, and I’ve been really blessed that every time I want to do a new record, I get these incredible musicians around me, right on time. That’s what this album helps me do — transmitting and receiving with different musicians and artists that have the same desire I had when I was their age.”

Diddy Removes Cassie Apology, Sexual Assault Lawsuit Statement and Everything Else From
Diddy has taken down all Instagram posts including his apology to Cassie and the statement he issued regarding the recent sexual assault lawsuits filed against him.
On Thursday (June 20), people on social media took notice of the fact that Diddy, or whoever is currently running his Instagram account, took the time to delete every single post. Notably, the disgraced Bad Boy Entertainment founder removed his public apology to Cassie that followed recently surfaced footage of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend last month. He also took down the official statement he issued when various abuse and sexual assault allegations began to pop up late last year.
Diddy falling back from the ’Gram comes as the allegations and backlash continue to roll in against the music exec who has been sued seven times since last November.
Last week, he returned his key to the city of New York after the honor was recalled by Mayor Eric Adams. Howard Univerity also recently rescinded the honorary degree it gave the CEO in 2014. Diddy isn't completely low. He was spotted about a week ago randomly standing on a sidewalk in West Hollywood, Calif., prompting people to question what he was doing
Jonathan Majors Has Scored His First Role Since Assault Conviction
Jonathan Majors has returned to the movie industry, snagging his first role since being convicted of assault.
Deadline reports that the acclaimed actor is set to star in Martin Villeneuve‘s upcoming sci-fi revenge thriller Merciless.
Merciless will follow a CIA interrogator named John who embarks on a mission to save the woman that he loves from a mysterious, enigmatic force—an adventure that sends the man down an even darker path.
Martin Villeneuve, who is the younger brother of acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve, is set to begin shooting the film with Majors and an unnamed cast this fall in Saskatchewan. Martin detailed the upcoming film in an interview with the outlet, saying, “Merciless intertwines themes of possession, revenge and personal justice within a haunting narrative. It explores the psychological descent of John, played by Majors, and the supernatural forces challenging his sanity.”
Merciless will be developed by producer Christopher Tuffin, who plans to use the movie as the inaugural project under his new global media venture. Tuffin stated to Deadline that the brand’s identity and name would be unveiled at the Toronto Film Festival, detailing it as follows: “[a media venture that] refuses to let the court of public opinion and selective prosecution undermine great art and artists.”
Tuffin then talked about wanting to work with Jonathan Majors and how working with Blacklist scribe Millard Lampell taught him to never let “politics undermine due process and deprive artists of their careers.”
“I consider it an honor and a privilege to be working with Jonathan, who is such a great talent now that this matter has been adjudicated.”
Majors was convicted of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment in December 2023. However, the Creed III actor was acquitted of two other separate counts of intentional assault and aggravated harassment.
Along with his new movie role, Majors is slowly but surely reentering into the zeitgeist. He’s set to be honored with the Perseverance Award at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards in Los Angeles on Friday (June 21).

The three faces that are destroying the show. They all think their high and might when they’re not, can’t wait for someone to put these slaves in their place. #YR
Eric Braeden responded to the tweet writing:
These three actors are dear colleagues of mine; they have more class than you LOW LIFE can imagine! We are going to block your racist ass, you got that, b**ch??!!

Beyonce Opens Up About Motivation For Her To Keep Making Music
Beyonce Knowles' latest album, "Cowboy Carter", has proven that genre boundaries cannot hold her creativity. In a recent interview, the 42-year-old icon shared her motivation for pushing musical boundaries and inspiring a new generation of artists.
While acknowledging the success of "Cowboy Carter" and her chart-topping country single "Texas Hold 'Em", Beyonce emphasized that these milestones were not her primary driving force. Instead, she finds motivation in seeing other young black country artists, such as Shaboozey, Tierra Kennedy and Brittney Spencer, "flying to new heights" and "inspiring the world."
"When you are breaking down barriers, not everyone is ready and open for a shift," Beyonce stated. However, the success of these collaborators is what "motivates" her to continue making music.
Beyonce's recent music experiments, including "Renaissance" and "Cowboy Carter", have explored the roots of various genres and highlighted the influence of Black artists. She recognizes that "industry gatekeepers" are often resistant to these genre-bending endeavors, especially from a black woman.
Despite these challenges, Beyonce remains defiant, saying, "I'm honored to introduce so many people to the roots of so many genres. I'm so thrilled that my fans trusted me."
She added that her desire to push boundaries comes from a point of personal growth and artistic purpose. "Once you have challenged yourself and poured every ounce of your life into your art, it's impossible to go backward," she explained.
As Beyonce continues to make history in music, she leaves a legacy of empowerment and inspiration for both her fans and aspiring artists alike. Her motivation to create music that breaks down barriers and uplifts others is a testament to her enduring impact on the industry.
Justin Timberlake Thanks Fans Amid DWI Controversy: 'You Made My Life So Special'
Justin Timberlake has always been known for his ability to captivate audiences with his music and performances. However, in a recent turn of events, the global superstar faced a challenging week following a DWI arrest in the Hamptons. This incident did not deter Timberlake from taking the stage in Chicago, where he expressed profound gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support.
During his two-night performance at the United Center, Timberlake paused between songs to address his supporters. The "Selfish" singer, visibly emotional, acknowledged the nearly three decades of connection with his fans, stating, "I want each and every one of you to know I've grown up with you."
He continued by emphasizing the unique bond they share, remarking, "You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life and sometimes I can't find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me."
"I just wanna say you guys keep loving me and coming back and spending and sharing this experience with me," he went on. "And from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that until I'm somewhere off this earth, I will never forget each and every one of you. You made my life so special. And tonight in Chicago, you have made us feel loved."
This heartfelt moment came just days after Timberlake's arrest on June 18 in Sag Harbor, New York. The 43-year-old was charged with driving while intoxicated and received citations for running a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel.
According to reports, Timberlake was driving a 2025 BMW when he was pulled over. His lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., stated that Timberlake "refused a breathalyzer," which contributed to the charges against him.
Despite the legal hurdles, Timberlake reassured his fans that the tour would continue as planned. "It's business as usual for him," a source told PEOPLE, highlighting the singer's determination to carry on with his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.
The tour, which includes stops in Boston, Baltimore, and New York City, will see Timberlake head to Europe with a performance in Krakow, Poland on July 26, the same day as his next court appearance.
On Friday, Timberlake reflected on the difficult week during his performance, telling the audience, "It's been a tough week, but you're here, and I'm here." His fans' standing ovation was a testament to their unwavering loyalty.
As Timberlake navigates through this challenging time, he has made it clear that he deeply values the support and love from his fans, declaring, "From the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that until I'm somewhere off this earth, I will never forget each and every one of you. You made my life so special."
Justin Timberlake's ability to connect with his audience, even in times of personal turmoil, underscores his commitment to his craft and the special relationship he shares with his fans. As the Forget Tomorrow World Tour progresses, it is evident that Timberlake's bond with his fans will continue to thrive, no matter the obstacles he faces.
Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert Will Finalize their Divorce in a Deadline by a Judge!
Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert appear to be on the cusp of settling their nasty divorce ... but they're up against a tight deadline, and the clock is ticking
The judge overseeing Teyana and Iman's divorce is giving them until June 27 to submit their divorce settlement in writing ... this according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.
Teyana and Iman were in court Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week, hashing out a bunch of issues they've been fighting about ... and now the judge wants them to put that all into writing and hammer out a judgment he can sign off on once and for all.
The judge wants a final judgment, parenting plan and child support addendum/worksheet by noon Thursday ... and if they don't file it, their case will be removed from her docket. It might sound kinda harsh -- but in reality ... this is just the judge telling them to put what we talked about on paper and get it in front of me to get this thing wrapped up and outta court.
Teyana and Iman will still be able to bring their divorce back to court if they miss next week's deadline ... but this seems to be a good sign their divorce is coming to an end, and soon.
Teyana secretly filed for divorce in January 2023, more than 8 months before they announced their separation.
There's been a bunch of drama along the way ... she's accused him of being under the influence when caring for their children, and claimed he cut off the utilities in their family home, allegedly leaving her and the kids without water ... among other things.
They've been fighting over money too ... she claims he withdrew nearly $4 million from shared accounts and left her holding the bag on $200k worth of home renovations.
The bad blood could all be over soon ... as long as they meet this deadline.
#BoxOfficeNews: Box Office: ‘Inside Out 2’ Soars to Record $100M Second Weekend in U.S.
Pixar’s Inside Out 2 is on fire at the global box office, where it grossed a record-shattering $100 million domestically and $164.4 million overseas in its second weekend to finish Sunday with $724.4 million in ticket sales to become the top-grossing film of the year after racing past Dune: Part Two ($711. million).
The animated tentpole — about the emotions inhabiting a 13-year-old girl — is among only an elite handful of films that have earned $90 million or more in their second weekend of play at the domestic box office. Inside Out 2 enjoyed the biggest sophomore outing of any animated film domestically and the seventh-biggest of any film behind such behemoths as installments in the Avengers, Star Wars and Jurassic World series. It even earned more than Barbie, which grossed $93 million in its second outing.
Inside Out 2‘s tally stands at $355.2 in North America, where it fell a scant 35 percent, the best hold of any film in history that opened to $150 million or more. At 40 percent, Star Wars: The Force Awakens previously held that distinction. Overseas, Inside Out 2 has raked in $369.4 million, and it still has major markets yet to open. It fell only 22 percent in its second weekend, and scored the industry’s second-biggest openings of all time in both Brazil and Spain.
The movie marks a major comeback for Pixar, and is almost assured of becoming the first title since Barbie to join the $1 billion club at the global box office.
Thanks to Inside Out 2 and also Sony’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die, reteaming Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, the box office has rebounded for the first time this year after a dramatic downturn. Overall domestic revenue has been up for the first time over last year for two consecutive weekends in a row.
Bad Boys 4 easily stayed at No. 2 in North America with an estimated haul of $18.8 million in its third weekend for a domestic tally of nearly $150 million through Sunday, or $146.9 million. It fell just 44 percent.
Among new offerings, Focus Features and New Regency’s The Bikeriders opened in third place with $10 million, on the high end of expectations. Directed by Jeff Nichols, the movie follows the rise and fall of a motorcycle gang in the 1960s and stars Austin Butler, Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy. Focus’ marketing team succeeded in getting older males, particularly in the middle of the country.
Russell Crowe starrer The Exorcism also opened nationwide, but failed to scare up much business. From Miramax, the film opened to an estimated $2.4 million, one of the worst wide launches of Crowe’s career. The movie, which got slapped with a D CinemaScore, stars Crowe as an actor who starts to behave irrationally on the set of his latest horror film, prompting his daughter to investigate whether something more sinister is afoot. Vertical is distributing and marketing Exorcism domestically.
The specialty box office also made headlines.
Yorgos Lanthimos’ latest film, Kinds of Kindness, opened in five locations in New York and Los Angeles. The movie, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, stars Jesse Plemons, Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Joe Alwyn, Hong Chau and Mamoudou Athie. Kinds of Kindness is reporting a per-theater average of $70,000, the best average of the year to date for a limited release.
Filmmaker Josh Margolin’s Thelma also opened, but opted to go wide. The specialty pic grossed a solid $2.2 million. Magnolia landed North American rights to the June Squibb comedy out of this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Squibb stars opposite Fred Hechinger and the late Richard Roundtree.
Sha’Carri Richardson’s record-setting 100-meter secures her spot on Team USA
Sha’Carri Richardson is officially a gold medal contender after securing her spot on the Team USA track and field roster for the Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
On Saturday (June 22), the 24-year-old set this year’s record for the fastest 100-meter with a time of 10.71 seconds and cemented her ticket to the world-renowned event, which boasts the top athletes from more than 200 nations across the world. Richardson, a Texas native, has been training for her chance to compete on the sporting world’s biggest stage for three years.
“I know that the hard work I've put into, not just physically on the track but as well as mentally and emotionally, to grow into the mature young lady that I am today and that I'm going to grow into was a full-fledged surreal moment for me to actually embrace and be able to show to the world and on the track,” she said post-race while speaking to media outlets about her victory.
Alongside her in second and third place were her training partners, Melissa Jefferson, who ran a 10.80, and Twanisha Terry with a time of 10.89. While some may think that the three women put the world on notice with their performances, Richardson is confident that “we didn’t put the world on notice; the world already knew who we were.”
The Nike-sponsored sprinter breezed through races in 2021, when she first qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. However, soon after, she was disqualified after testing positive for marijuana (THC) use. Cannabis is among the substances athletes are prohibited from using during competition. Richardson admitted to smoking a week prior after learning of the passing of her biological mother. Because of her actions, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency imposed a monthlong suspension, and her Olympic dreams were deferred. The then-21-year-old had the sixth fastest 100-meter time when she clocked 10.72.
“I just want to take responsibility for my actions. I know what I did. I know what I’m supposed to do, [what] I’m allowed not to do, and I still made that decision. I’m not making an excuse or looking for any empathy in my case," she told the "TODAY" show. The burgeoning track star also reminded the world that she was still worthy of grace and only human while owning her error in judgment.
Now, she is certain that “there's nothing I've been through that hasn't designed me to sit right here in front of you to answer this question." The two-week Paris Games kick off on July 26 and run through Aug. 11. Her supporters are already predicting she will have an outstanding performance heading into the competition.
Ice Cube says ‘Last Friday’ is finally gaining traction at Warner Bros.
A leadership shakeup at Warner Bros. Entertainment may clear a path for Ice Cube to finally give fans the long-awaited sequel to Friday After Next. The entertainer has spoken with candor about the uphill battle to get the green light for the film from studio executives for years. But now, things could be changing for the better.
According to Baller Alert, he said, “We finally got some traction with Warner Bros. They have new leadership. My man Mike De Luca, who used to be at New Line when I first started, when I first did the first Friday and Players Club and All About the Benjamins. Mike De Luca was there, so now he’s running Warner Bros.,” when he appeared on Flavor Flav’s weekly radio show, “Flavor of the Week,” on June 17.
As previously reported, Cube has been working behind the scenes to bring Last Friday to fruition. He hoped the fourth installment of the franchise would be ready for release to mark the 25th anniversary of the original film’s release in April 2020. He told ESPN’s “The Jump” in 2019, “We are pushing for it, we finished the script, we are getting notes from the studio and it’s going back and forth,” but the film’s future has been hanging in the balance ever since.
The West Coast rap legend spoke about the obstacles he has endured while trying to gain ownership of the project. He told boxing great Mike Tyson that Last Friday went through two script rewrites before being buried under notes from the studio.
“I don’t know what they’re doing; they don’t know what they’re doing. We’d love to have it back,” Cube said during his appearance on the “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” podcast. “I think it’s gon’ be close to a time when we get it back. So, we’ll either wait for that time or we’ll keep trying to convince them that they need to let us control the movie. It’s my movie, but they have distribution control,” he explained.
Cube would go on to reveal that a sequel to All About the Benjamins was caught in the same development purgatory. That same year, De Luca reached a deal to join Warner Bros. Entertainment’s executive team, overseeing film management, which includes New Line Cinema, the studio that released the 1995 classic. The media entity was incorporated into Warner in 2008.
Friday helped launch the film careers of Chris Tucker and Mike Epps. The Rush Hour star has shared that he would consider returning to the franchise, even hinting at DC Young Fly playing his son, if he is presented with the right script. According to Box Office Mojo, the three films have amassed $118,049,776, with each installment outperforming the last.
Roseanne’s Sandra Bernhard, Morgan Fairchild Hash Out On-Set Beef Decades Later
Morgan Fairchild and Sandra Bernhard have put their Roseanne beef to bed.
It all started when Bernhard admitted on a June 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live that she hadn’t always been kind to Fairchild — who appeared in a few episodes of the ABC sitcom as Marla, Bernhard’s on-screen girlfriend.
“It’s one of my biggest regrets that I wasn’t nicer to her,” Bernhard confessed to host Andy Cohen. “I would like to say to Morgan: You were incredible to work with. You went there. We were the first gay couple on TV… I owe you an apology. I adore you, and thank you for putting up with my snotty little attitude.”
Fairchild has since addressed her former castmate in a post on X, responding to a video of the apology.
“I’m very touched by [Bernhard]’s words,” Fairchild wrote. “Very nice of her. Yes, it was a difficult set for me, but that’s show biz.” The actress invited Bernhard to send her a message so the pair could grab coffee.
Bernhard posted a reply on X, calling Fairchild a “groovy, open, talented person,” and agreed to “break it all down over a cup of Joe.”
Following up on the saga on Saturday, Fairchild revealed, “[Bernhard] has reached out and we are in touch.”
Christopher Williams Speaks Out on Halle Berry and Diddy Allegations
*In a revealing and in-depth interview with Willie D Live, singer Christopher Williams took the opportunity to address a range of topics, from long-standing rumors to recent controversies, offering an unfiltered look into his life and career.
But first, Willaims wanted to speak on a topic close to his heart, as he voiced his concerns over the backlash Deion Sanders faced after he transitioned from coaching at a historically Black college (Jackson State) to a Division 1 (D1) institution (University of Colorado). He advised taking internet commentary with a pinch of salt, highlighting the online world’s tendency to value sensationalism over factual accuracy.

With that off his chest, Williams moved on to clarify the enduring rumor regarding an alleged altercation with actress Halle Berry. Firmly setting the record straight, he revealed that it was not he, but Wesley Snipes, involved in the incident, emphasizing that he and Berry remain good friends. Williams expressed his happiness for Berry, who has chosen to focus on her family rather than chase industry accolades.
The conversation, as reported by TheIndustry.biz, then shifted to one of the more sensational allegations: claims that Williams had engaged in inappropriate activities with Sean “Puffy” Combs (Diddy) to secure a record deal. Denying the rumor vehemently, Williams stressed its absurdity, considering his well-established career at the time. He emphasized his life’s transparency, which rendered such accusations baseless and harmful.
Despite the gravity of these allegations, Williams remained composed, attributing his ability to rise above negativity to a robust support network and a focus on positive life aspects. He noted that while his friends were keen to defend him, he encouraged them to rise above the fray, underscoring the importance of maintaining inner peace and making better choices despite unfounded allegations.
Williams also recounted how a friend confronted Gene Deal, the former bodyguard for Sean “Diddy” Combs who had initially propagated the rumor. Deal later admitted to a case of mistaken identity and retracted his statement. Interestingly, Deal has also garnered attention for his controversial claims regarding the murders of The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, which challenge the mainstream narratives of those events.
Addressing Jaguar Wright’s recent allegations, Williams expressed a mix of empathy and frustration. While acknowledging Wright’s talent, he lamented her bitterness and the damage such accusations inflict on her credibility and others’. Williams pointed out that engaging with these petty allegations was futile and unnecessarily destructive.
In a poignant moment, Williams shared his regret over how baseless stories have overshadowed his genuine connections and achievements. He reiterated his commitment to living a life characterized by authenticity and integrity, regardless of circulating rumors.
Through this candid conversation, Christopher Williams not only dispelled damaging rumors but also exemplified the resilience, dignity, and strength of character that have bolstered his illustrious career in the music industry. As he continues to navigate the complexities of fame, Williams’ approach serves as an inspiring model for maintaining personal integrity in the face of public scrutiny.

Florida rapper Julio Foolio was allegedly murdered early Sunday morning in a shooting at a Tampa Holiday Inn, according to multiple sources.
The incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. in the hotel’s parking lot at the intersection of Fowler Avenue and McKinley Drive, as confirmed by Tampa police.
