#RHOA: Kenya Moore & Sheree Whitfield Lash Out At Sanya Richards-Ross In Jamaica
Kenya and Sheree were not impressed with Sanya's hosting skills in Jamaica, during the August 14 episode of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'.
This week’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta started with a race between Marlo Hampton and Drew Sidora. Sanya Richards-Ross took them to a track she used to train at in Jamaica, and both ladies wanted to see who was faster. While most of the group thought Drew would win the race, it was actually Marlo who won. But immediately after the ladies crossed the finish line, Drew tore her achilles tendon, so everyone let her have the win instead.
Kenya Moore also came to the day’s events later than everyone else because she refused to get on the bus at the right time. She pretended like she wasn’t ready in time, but editing showed that she wasted some time lounging on the balcony of her hotel room. And then, when Sanya confronted her about it, Kenya said that her daughter, Brooklyn, was having some sort of issue with not wanting to see her dad, Marc Daly, and she had to deal with it. Kenya even shed a few tears, but Sanya didn’t react to it too much because she said Kenya is always excusing her behavior by crying about her divorce.
That issue came up again later in the episode, when Kenya and Sheree Whitfield missed the next day’s activity because they didn’t get on the bus by 9:30am. Sanya actually had to shoot a commercial for her new business venture, and she wanted a few of the ladies to tag along for the ride. Marlo made sure she was on the bus on time, but Kenya and Sheree missed the bus by 20 minutes or so and then complained that Sanya “disinvited” them. So they went and had fun on a boat instead.
Everyone reunited for dinner back at the hotel later that night, and when Sheree and Kenya lashed out at Sanya for “disinviting” them, she refused to engage in the conversation. She couldn’t believe that they were trying to blame their tardiness on her. Editing even showed Sheree hanging out on the beach at 9:30am, so she definitely wasn’t in the lobby looking for the bus when she said she was. Sanya politely declined to argue with the ladies, but when they got louder and demanded some answers, her husband stood up and told them to stop.
Marlo also tried diffusing her feud with Kandi Burruss, but Kandi wouldn’t even give Marlo the time of day. She even told her to stop speaking to her altogether.

Ari Lennox has released hew single “Hoodie”. The song is the follow up to the number one “Pressure” which saw Ari link up with the legendary production trio Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox and Johnta Austin.
“Hoodie” and “Pressure” are set to appear on Ari’s sophomore album “age/sex/location” which is set to come out September 9th. This will be her first release since her critically acclaimed debut album “Shea Butter Baby”.

#HipHopNews: Nipsey Hussle Receives Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame
On what would have been his 37th birthday, Nipsey Hussle received a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Fans gathered on Hollywood Blvd. for the presentation, which kicked off with an impromptu rendition of “Happy Birthday.”
Family members shared touching tributes to the rapper, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, while Nipsey’s peers including YG, Roddy Ricch, Russell Westbrook, and Saweetie were also in attendance.
Dressed in all white, Lauren London was first to speak. She took the podium as Kross, her 5-year-old son with Nipsey, looked on.
“I want to first start by saying happy birthday Hussle,” London said. “I think I speak for the entire city of L.A. when I say that we’ve always known Hussle was destined for greatness. This moment only amplifies that for us.”
“Nip would have been honored by this moment,” she continued. “Whenever you’re in the City of Angels and you see this star, I hope it encourages you to break away from whatever might be holding you back and for you to run your marathon until God says it’s finished.”
Nipsey’s sister Samantha Smith reflected on the “bittersweet” occasion. “Proud is an understatement. Nip the great, look at who you are, look at what you did,” she said. “I am in awe, but I’m not surprised. You’ve been a star in my eyes, the family’s eyes, God’s eyes, far before the accolades caught up.”
Nipsey’s father, Dawit Asghedom, thanked the fans for all their support. “A tragedy like Ermias’ murder can act to bring us together,” he said. “Although he was taken from us too soon, he will live in our hearts and minds forever.”
His grandmother, Margaret Boutte, was the final speaker, sharing heartfelt words about her late grandson, who was killed outside his Marathon Clothing store in March 2019. “Nipsey was the love of my life,” she said. “Always very respectful. I miss him, but I look at his picture and remember all the wonderful times we had together… He will never be gone in my heart. He lives forever.”
In honor of Nipsey’s legacy, August 15th was also declared Nipsey Hussle Day in the city of L.A.
‘Black-ish’ Creator Kenya Barris To Write & Direct ‘Wizard Of Oz’ Remake At Warner Bros.
Kenya Barris, 48, is bringing his talents to Warner Bros. to write and direct a remake of Wizard of Oz. As you may already know, Wizard Of Oz is a musical fantasy film that was initially released in 1939. The film adaptation is based upon L. Frank Baum’s 1900 children’s fantasy novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The classic story centers around teenager Dorothy Gale’s adventure in the magical land of Oz and her journey to make it back home to Kansas. Key details on Barris’ project have yet to be announced, but Kenya Barris’ take will reportedly be,
“a modern reimagining.”
This isn’t the only Wizard Of Oz remake that is set to make its way to the big screen. A reboot was previously announced from New Line Cinema, with Nicole Kassell as the director.
Kenya Barris is seemingly in a remake-mood. As previously reported, the “Black-ish” creator is currently working on a reboot for the 1992 sports comedy movie “White Men Can’t Jump.” Rapper Jack Harlow will be playing the role that Woody Harrelson portrayed in the original film.
Kenya Barris also has a film with Snoop DoggSin the works! The rapper will star in “The Underdoggs” as Jaycen Jenning, a former NFL superstar who has a run-in with the law and winds up coaching youth football in lieu of going to prison. The film is currently set to be released on Oct. 20, 2023, and is described as “The Bad News Bears” in the world of youth football.

Rapper A$AP Rocky charged in connection with 2021 shooting in Hollywood
Rapper A$AP Rocky has been charged in connection with a 2021 shooting in Hollywood, officials announced Monday.
The 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, faces two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm with allegations of personally using a firearm, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The shooting occurred on Nov. 6, 2021, following an argument between two acquaintances in the area of Selma and Argyle avenues.
The argument escalated and resulted in the rapper firing a semi-automatic handgun at his former friend, who sustained a minor injury, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Mayers ran from the scene with two other people following the shooting.
He was arrested earlier this year at LAX after vacationing in Barbados with singer Rihanna. The two stars have a child together.
“Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,” District Attorney George Gascón said in a news release. “My office conducted a thorough review of the evidence in this case and determined that the addition of a special firearm allegation was warranted.”
The rapper is set to be arraigned Wednesday. The case remains under investigation by the LAPD’s elite Robbery Homicide division.
In 2019, Mayers was found guilty of assault in Sweden and received a conditional sentence, meaning he did not serve any additional jail time.
Dog tests positive for monkeypox in first suspected human-to-pet transmission
A medical journal has published evidence of the first suspected case of human-to-pet transmission of the monkeypox virus.
A dog living with two men in France who were infected with the virus began exhibiting symptoms 12 days after they did, according to The Lancet. The 4-year-old male Italian greyhound, which had no previous medical disorders, tested positive after showing symptoms such as lesions and pustules on its abdomen.
Through DNA testing, researchers determined the viruses infecting the two men and the dog were both monkeypox.
Since they became symptomatic, the two men had kept their dog away from other people and other pets but had slept with the animal in their bed.
“Our findings should prompt debate on the need to isolate pets from monkeypox virus-positive individuals,” the report reads.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned against possible human-to-pet transmission in its monkeypox guidance.
“Infected animals can spread Monkeypox virus to people, and it is possible that people who are infected can spread Monkeypox virus to animals through close contact,” the guidance reads.
Those who are infected are advised to avoid activities with their pets, including petting, cuddling, hugging, kissing, licking, sharing sleeping areas and sharing food.
While the full symptoms of monkeypox in pets are unknown, watch for “potential signs of illness including lethargy, lack of appetite, coughing, nasal secretions or crust, bloating, fever, and/or pimple- or blister-like skin rash,” the CDC warns.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck to throw three-day wedding this weekend
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are having their dream wedding celebration one month after tying the knot in Las Vegas.
The couple will celebrate their nuptials this weekend, and it’ll be a wedding party fit for the pages of Vogue, we hear.
“It’s going to be all about J.Lo. Ben wants all of the focus to be on her for their big day,” an insider exclusively tells Page Six.
Their three-day “intimate celebration for family and friends” will kick off with a rehearsal dinner on Friday, our insider shares.
The actual ceremony will take place on Saturday, and the couple will close out their weekend with a barbecue and picnic on Sunday.
Lopez, 53, is expected to wear a custom couture Ralph Lauren dress made in Italy, and Vogue magazine is expected to document her fashion journey for the weekend.
Page Six previously reported that A-list event planner to the stars Colin Cowie is behind all of the details for their lavish celebration. Cowie’s price tag ranges from $25,000 to $25 million, and he’s produced events for the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan and even Lopez in the past.
Sources told us Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, Casey Affleck and Drea de Matteo are a few of the stars who made the couple’s guest list. TMZ reported last month that the event will take place on Affleck’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia.

Adrien Broner pulls out of fight against Omar Figueroa, cites mental health as reason
Adrien Broner will no longer participate in the anticipated matchup against Omar Figueroa on Saturday (Aug. 20), ESPN reports.
At this time, Broner cites his mental health as the reason for stepping down from the boxing match.
“Sorry to all my fans, but mental health is real and I’m not about to play inside the ring,” said Broner in an official statement. “I’ve watched a lot of people die playing with [their] boxing career and that is something I won’t do.”
In recent years, athletes have been vocal about their mental health struggles that often take a backseat when it comes to their line of work. From Simone Biles to Naomi Osaka, and beyond, the stance on the toll sports can take on the mental well-being of players has been the topic of conversation.
At this time, Broner has requested support and prayers as he takes a step back to work on getting better.
“Just pray for me,” he said. “I love the sport of boxing too much to not give my all and I feel like I came up short before because my mind wasn’t 100% there and I be dam if I make that mistake again.”
Out of his last four fights, Broner has only managed to walk away with one win and has not participated in a match in the last year and a half.
“Man, I’m going thru a lot at this moment in my life but I aint gon give up. I set more goals, and I ain’t stopping until I finish what I started, but sorry to say this but I’m not fighting #August20th,” he continued.
He also said that he needs to take a step back before putting his life on the line again for another boxing match.

Comedian Teddy Ray reportedly died in apparent drowning
New reports reveal that beloved comedian Teddy Ray allegedly died in an apparent drowning, TMZ reports.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, officials responded to a call around 10 a.m. on Friday (Aug. 12) morning at a private residence in Rancho Mirage. A maintenance worker alerted authorities that a man had been found floating in the swimming pool.
While police don’t suspect any foul play, it is unclear whose residence Ray was at. Per the coroner, the “Wild’N Out” comedian lived in Gardena, California.
As previously reported by REVOLT, fans and loved ones of Ray flocked to social media to share condolences following the news of his passing.
“Teddy Ray was a hilarious and beloved performer,” Comedy Central wrote in an official statement shared to Twitter. “He’ll be deeply missed by the entire comedy community.”
All Def Digital, the multi-platform media company that Ray collaborated with, shared that they are “heartbroken” about the news of his death. “We will miss him every day, but we know he will have heaven laughing.”
“Abbott Elementary” creator Quinta Brunson also shared that she was “heartbroken” over the news. Fellow comedian Katt Williams, who Ray toured with, also took to social media saying, “My brilliant n**ga. So sorry. Love u.”
The Los Angeles native, who was known for his viral skits that brought the culture popular sayings like “Double cheeked up” and “You 36,” recently celebrated a birthday on July 30. In a post on Instagram, he shared that he was grateful “for another lap around this hot a** sun.”
More recently, he opened up about the passing of fellow comedian Jak Knight.
“This mighta been the most ni**erishly happy I ever been in my life to watch you have your own show ordering white people around all day with an endless Hennessy budget available,” he wrote. “It took me forever to type this, I ain’t think you’d leave me this tearful. Love your 4ever Jak Knight.”
At this time, investigators are awaiting all results from Ray’s autopsy before determining an official cause of death. He was only 32 years old.
Ezra Miller Finally Speaks Out, Will Seek Treatment for 'Complex Mental Health Issues'
Ezra Miller is finally speaking out about the troubling behavior they have been exhibiting in recent years.
The 29-year-old The Flash actor, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, has been in trouble with the law several times throughout the past couple years.
Ezra was arrested multiple times in Hawaii this year for assault, was accused of harassing a woman in Germany, was accused of choking someone in Iceland, was accused of hosting three young children and their mom in Vermont in an “unsafe environment,” was charged with felony burglary in Vermont, and was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a young person they met at age 12.
Despite all the controversies, it still seems like Ezra‘s movie The Flash is going to be released.

I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
The Flash is still scheduled to open in theaters on June 23, 2023.
Lionsgate Announces Next 'Saw' Movie, Release Date Revealed
Lionsgate has announced that another Saw movie is on the way! The upcoming installment in the billion-dollar horror movie franchise will be released in theaters on October 27, 2023.
The studio is now revealing any plot details yet, but they said in a statement that “fans can be assured that the new film will capture their hearts – and other body parts – with all-new twisted, ingenious traps and a new mystery to solve.”
The upcoming Saw movie will be directed by Kevin Greutert, who previously directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter.
Saw franchise producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules said, “We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love. And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans’ favorites in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Returning to the U.K. Sooner Than You Think
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will travel to the United Kingdom and Germany this September to support a number of causes, a spokesperson for the couple announced on Aug. 15.
"Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to visit with several charities close to their hearts in early September," the rep said in a statement.
So where will they be going? Harry and Meghan will attend the One Young World 2022 Manchester Summit in the U.K. on Sept. 5.
The event, per its website, brings together young leaders from every country and sector to drive social impact in-person and online. Attending delegates can listen to speeches, panels and workshops, and the event announced that Meghan will deliver a keynote address at the Opening Ceremony. In addition, the organization shared that Meghan and Harry will be meeting with a group of delegates whose work champions gender equality. Meghan has been a One Young World counselor since 2014 and has attended past summits.
"She has continued to work with and support a number of One Young World Ambassadors," the organization wrote on Instagram, "particularly those working for equal rights for women and girls."
Next on the itinerary? They'll then go to Germany to attend the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event on Sept. 6. The Invictus Games were originally scheduled to be held in Germany this year but had to be postponed until 2023 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Harry is the founder of the Invictus Games, which were first held in London in 2014 and uses sport to support the recovery and rehabilitation of servicemen and women and honor them. Over the years, Meghan has also supported the games (you may recall, she and Harry made their first public appearance as a couple at the 2017 Invictus Games).
Afterwards, Harry and Meghan will travel back to the U.K. for the WellChild Awards on Sept. 8. The national charity, per its website, enables "children and young people with exceptional health needs" to receive care at home versus in hospital when possible, and the awards celebrate "the inspirational qualities of the UK's seriously ill children and young people, along with those who go that extra mile to make a difference to their lives," including doctors and nurses. Harry became patron of WellChild in 2007 and he and Meghan have attended several of its events over the years.
Harry and Meghan live in California with their two children Archie Harrison, 3, and Lilibet Diana, 14 months, and have returned to the U.K. a few times since stepping back as senior members of the royal family in 2020, with their most recent visit being in June for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
"Home for me now is, for the time being, it's in the States," Hary told Today's Hoda Kotb in April. "And it feels that way, as well. We've been welcomed with open arms and it's got such a great community up in Santa Barbara."
Academy apologizes to Sacheen Littlefeather 50 years after she was booed declining Marlon Brando's Oscar
It took nearly half a century, but the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is seeking to make things right with Sacheen Littlefeather.
In one of the most famous moments in Oscars history — right up there with Jack Palance’s one-armed push-ups, Envelopegate, and now, unfortunately, “The Slap” — the Native American civil rights activist took to the stage on behalf of Marlon Brando in 1973, politely refusing to accept his Best Actor award for his work in The Godfather (1972).
“And the reasons for this being are the treatment of American Indians today by the film industry,” the Apache and Yaqui-born Littlefeather, then 26, explained as several audience members began to boo and loudly heckle her before others applauded.
Littlefeather, who also sought to bring attention to the 1973 Wounded Knee Occupation, later said she was harassed, threatened and essentially blacklisted by Hollywood for her speech.
In an announcement Monday, the Academy announced they’d be welcoming Littlefeather, now 75, for a conversation at the newly opened Academy Museum that will focus on “reflection, healing and celebration.”
The Academy has also offered Littlefeather a written apology for the events of the 1973 Oscars.
“The abuse you endured because of this statement was unwarranted and unjustified,” wrote outgoing Academy president David Rubin. “The emotional burden you have lived through and the cost to your own career in our industry are irreparable. For too long the courage you showed has been unacknowledged. For this, we offer both our deepest apologies and our sincere admiration.”
Littlefeather clearly accepted the apology.
“We Indians are very patient people — it’s only been 50 years! We need to keep our sense of humor about this at all times. It’s our method of survival,” Littlefeather said in a statement released by the Academy.
“I never thought I’d live to see the day for this program to take place, featuring such wonderful Native performers and Bird Runningwater, a television and film producer who also guided the Sundance Institute’s commitment to Indigenous filmmakers for twenty years through the Institute’s Labs and Sundance Film Festival. This is a dream come true. It is profoundly heartening to see how much has changed since I did not accept the Academy Award 50 years ago. I am so proud of each and every person who will appear on stage.”
Alicia Keys celebrates concert with late-night skating afterparty
Add Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz to the list of celebs — including Madonna — who’re hitting Manhattan’s booming roller disco rinks.
The couple rented out the rink at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace at Rockefeller Center for a late-night afterparty to celebrate Keys’ sold-out concert on Friday night.
“We just finished the show at Radio City. It was such a vibe. The energy back home in New York feels so good. It’s 12:00. The zone is the zone,” Keys said in a video to her fans before she hit the rink.
Rapper Fivio Foreign joined Keys onstage earlier in the night, and one concertgoer even got down on one knee to propose during the show.
Keys described the night — and proposal — at Radio City as “legendary.”
“This is how good it feels to come home,” she wrote.
At the afterparty, she was joined by a hometown crew including her mother, Terria Joseph, her brother, Cole Cook, husband Beatz and their combined children, who were all spotted skating with mom and dad.
Keys and Swizz Beatz even busted a few moves on the skating rink, according to spies.
“Everyone was in a great mood. They were definitely in their zone, dancing in skates and laughing,” a source told Page Six.

Madonna Shares Family-Filled Photos from Son Rocco Ritchie's 22nd Birthday Celebration
Madonna is celebrating her son's special day with a big family celebration.
The "Like a Virgin" singer, 63, shared photos of a beautifully decorated outdoor area in celebration of her son Rocco Ritchie's 22nd birthday over the weekend. Rocco turned 22 on August 11.
"From one Leo to another!! Happy birthday Rocco #rocco 🦁🎂🎉🍾♥️," she captioned the photo carousel posted on Instagram.
The first photo shows Madonna and Rocco posing together with musicians behind them. The following slide is a black-and-white shot showing the two holding glasses while in conversation.
In a third photo, Madonna and Rocco are joined by twins Estere and Stella, who turn 10 later this month, as he cuts into a briefcase-shaped cake.
Madonna is also mom to Mercy James, 16, and David Banda, 16 — whom along with Rocco, she shares with ex-husband Guy Ritchie — and Lourdes Leon, 25, with ex-husband Carlos Leon.
Earlier this month, the singer stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to celebrate her upcoming Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones, and amid discussing her legendary catalog of music, she also mentioned her incredibly fashionable son David.
As any proud mother would do, she made sure that Fallon knew that David is working on music of his own, telling the host that he would eventually be a guest on the late-night talk show.
Fallon raved about David just as much as his mother did, waxing poetic about his humor, charm and athleticism, coming to the conclusion that he has "something."

Ben Simmons and 76ers Reportedly Settle Grievance Where He Sought Nearly $20 Million Withheld in 2021-22 Season
Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers have come to terms on a settlement agreement, more than four months after the three-time All-Star filed a grievance against the team in pursuit of a portion of the nearly $20 million withheld from him during the 2021-22 season, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
The two sides have agreed to keep the exact figures of their settlement confidential.
Prior to the start of the ’21-22 season, Simmons had no plans to report for training camp and intended “to never play another game” for the 76ers, per Wojnarowski. He cited mental readiness as a roadblock standing in the way of his return to the court, and refused resources offered by the Sixers.
Simmons was owed $33 million for the 2021-22 season, and received $16.5 million in advance from the 76ers in the offseason. In mid-November, the Sixers started to fine Simmons $360,000 for each game he missed, but the almost $1.3 million withheld by the team in each of his paychecks still wasn’t enough to cover the overall deductions.
The 76ers argued that since Simmons was in breach of contract under the league’s collective bargaining agreement, the team felt as though it was justified in attempting to recoup the remaining money through his advance. The Sixers also believe the 26-year-old breached his contract by not showing up for the start of training camp or playing in regular season or preseason games.
Simmons’ representatives at Klutch Sports failed to reach a financial settlement with the 76ers before the grievance was filed. However, both sides were able to come to an agreement prior to the beginning of the arbitration process.

Despite their issues, 50 said that he still refers to Mayweather as “champ” and they both came to the realization that there was no value in leaving things unresolved. “Yo, why it take so long for you to pull up on me fam?” 50 recalled Floyd saying when they met to resolve the beef. “‘Crazy…why you say all that stuff about me? Meagan Good still has her sights on one day becoming a mother. The actress recently shared that while her life is under construction amid her divorce from DeVon Franklin, she is maintaining a positive outlook when it comes to the trajectory of her life and career. The “Day Shift” actress told “Entertainment Tonight” that she hopes this new season of life comes with, “a lot more directing. Hopefully kids at some point, or a kid.”

“I’m not in a rush. I know a lot of women — that’s what they look forward to,” she explained to Romper in 2021. She continued, “Motherhood is what they aspire to and I never really aspired to marriage, I never really aspired to motherhood, I was always very much focused on my career because that’s all I knew my whole life and it’s what I love.”
By the end of the year, Good and Franklin had announced their plans to divorce. In a December post, the couple shared that, “There’s no one at fault.” The post, which was shared to both Good and Franklin’s individual Instagram pages, continued, “We believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love. We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”

An exclusive report from TMZ has revealed that a woman has alleged that the attorney for the alleged victim in the sexual assault case against Trey Songz offered her up to $200K to assure Songz’s guilt in the pending case.
Mariah Thielen says that when she met with Jauhara Jeffries’ attorney Ariel Mitchell in Miami in early 2021, Mitchel was carrying a gun and reeked of marijuana, according to court transcripts. Thielen then said that Mitchell offered her between $100K-200K to lie and say that Songz assaulted Jeffries, being that Thielen was present during the night in question. According to Thielen, Mitchell said she was trying to paint Trey as “the next R. Kelly.”
She claims Mitchell’s plan was to go to Songz’s legal time in hopes of landing a monetary settlement that would make her $200K payday even larger.
Thielen reportedly turned the offer dwon and reported the meeting to Songz’s legal team.
Mitchell denies the claims, telling TMZ, “We’re highly confident and certain the court will find the witness committed perjury. Parties are still awaiting the judges’ further instructions on how to proceed given the witness’s inconsistent testimony during the hearing.”
Mitchell’s partner, George Vrabeck, withdrew from the case, stating there was “multiple grounds for withdrawal” that existed under the Florida Rules for Professional Conduct, but Mitchell says that’s only because, “He will be representing me against the parties involved in this disgraceful motion brought by Trey Songz and his representatives.”

Starz Cancels Larenz Tate’s ‘Power’ Spinoff
*A “Power” spinoff series starring Larenz Tate is not moving forward at Starz, according to reports.
The “Power” universe includes spinoffs such as “Power Book II: Ghost,” “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” and “Power Book IV: Force.” Another spinoff starring Tate and titled “Power Book V: Influence” had been in the works but is now canceled, Variety reports.
Kathryn Busby, president of original programming at STARZ, spoke to the publication and confirmed that the series is not moving forward. Meanwhile, Deadline reports that a London-based “Power” spin-off is in the works.
“I am not at liberty to answer anything in that vein except to say what we love about Power is the potential to spinoff and to spinoff successfully which we have done,” said Busby when asked about the London show. “Which in theory, we would love to do again. I love that you’re hearing it.”Busby also confirmed that there is no chance that James “Ghost” St. Patrick will return to the series as he is indeed dead.
In related news, STARZ has ordered a third season of its hit crime drama series “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” ahead of the upcoming season two premiere on August 14.
Per press release, set in the early 1990s, the third series in the “Power” Universe tells the origin story of fan-favorite character, “Kanan Stark,” and his entry into the criminal world through his mother, who ruthlessly runs the family’s drug empire. Norway Euthanizes Freya The Walrus For Drawing Crowds
A walrus that attracted crowds of people in Oslo, Norway, has sadly been euthanized after authorities concluded it posed a risk to humans.
The 1,300 lb. female walrus, known as Freya, had become popular this summer for sinking boats. Authorities had cautioned people to stay away from Freya and refrain from trying to pose for pictures with her, but nevertheless, the crowds persisted.
“Through on-site observations the past week, it was made clear that the public has disregarded the current recommendation to keep a clear distance to the walrus,” said a statement from Norway’s Directorate of Fisheries. “Therefore, the Directorate has concluded, the possibility for potential harm to people was high, and animal welfare was not being maintained.”
Walruses are protected animals, and officials had hoped that Freya would leave the area on her own. Euthanasia was considered a last resort, and other options were considered.
“We have sympathies for the fact that the decision can cause a reaction from the public, but I am firm that this was the right call,” Frank Bakke-Jensen, the head of the directorate, said. “We have great regard for animal welfare, but human life and safety must take precedence.”
While unusual, it is not unheard of for Atlantic walruses to travel from the Arctic into the North and Baltic Seas. It is believed that Freya traveled about 1,200 before reaching Norway’s shores.
