#RHOA-VS-#RHOBH Lisa Vanderpump Finally Responds to NeNe Leakes Claims that She Stole
Lisa Vanderpump is finally addressing NeNe Leakes‘ claims about her allegedly stealing the restaurant space now known as PUMP from her years ago.
While attending The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine premiere party at Gracias Madre in West Hollywood on Tuesday, February 12, Lisa said she was “surprised” to hear NeNe’s claims.

“It’s the first thing I’ve heard about it in six years, so it’s been a surprise,” Lisa told Us Weekly. “It’s my 35th restaurant. It’s from the same landlord as the landlord at SUR. It’s 200 yards down the road.”
During an appearance on Jenny McCarthy‘s Sirius XM radio show weeks ago, NeNe claimed she and her husband, Gregg Leakes, were considering opening a restaurant in the space but were ultimately talked out of doing so by Lisa, who later bought the property for herself.

“She did some real foul sh*t to me,” NeNe alleged. “At the time, Gregg and I were living in L.A. and I was working on Glee and New Normal. We ride down that West Hollywood area where all the gay bars are — and I have a large gay fanbase — and I kept thinking, ‘It would be so cool if I had a bar right in here somewhere.’ And that space was empty and kind of raggedy-looking and torn down.”

Once she contacted Lisa for advice, NeNe reportedly received a stern warning from her fellow reality star.
“She said, Oh, darling, darling, it’s a piece of crap and they’re charging so much for it, darling,’” NeNe recalled. “She talked me off of it and then went and got it. … That’s so f**ked up.”
Who Do You Believe? After hearing about the dispute, Lisa’s castmate Erika Jayne sided with NeNe during her own interview with Us Weekly.
“NeNe don’t lie,” Erika said last week. “NeNe can take damn good care of herself.”

#Empire: Jussie Smollett moved to tears as he addresses Chicago attack on Good Morning America!
Jussie Smollett spoke to Robin Roberts on an interview set to air Thursday on "Good Morning America." (ABC News)
Jussie Smollett was moved to tears as he spoke out about being attacked in Chicago during a new interview.
The “Empire” actor sat down with host Robin Roberts for a conversation set to air Thursday on “Good Morning America.”

A 15-second preview clip released by ABC shows a visibly emotional Smollett during what’s billed as his first interview since the incident.
He does not speak in the short promo, but Roberts asks him, “At any point during the attack, did you fear for your life?”
Chicago police said last month that Smollett was allegedly attacked by two people who placed a rope around his neck, poured an unidentified substance on him and berated him with racial and homophobic slurs.

Police are investigating the case as a possible hate crime.

#HipHopNews: Rich The Kid Robbed And Attacked At Studio in L.A
Rich the Kid and his entourage were attacked at an L.A. studio on Tuesday (Feb. 12).

Eyewitnesses tell TMZ that as many as 10 shots were fired during the incident at Westlake Recording Studios in West Hollywood, Calif. The shooter was running away from the studio as he fired shots behind him.
Usher was also at the studio during the time of the shooting, but he was not hurt.

Rich was outside when it went down, and it appears he was the target of the robbery. Multiple entourage members were also reportedly attacked, and at least one bodyguard was badly pistol whipped.
L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies are currently on the scene, searching for suspects and collecting evidence. It’s unclear if anyone was hit when the shots were fired, but the suspect(s) “made off with a ton of cash and jewelry.”
Just hours before the robbery, Rich posted an Instagram photo of himself holding stacks of cash while standing in front of a Lamborghini. “For motivational purposes only,” he captioned it.

This is not the first time Rich has been the target of a robbery. In June of last year, he was hospitalized after a home invasion where two masked men entered demanding cash and jewelry.

#RHOBH: Lisa Vanderpump Leaves From ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Season 9 Premiere Before Cast Arrives
BLOOP! Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, snuck out of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 9 premiere party before her castmates arrived.
The restauranteurs and their dog Harrison arrived at Gracias Madre in West Hollywood at approximately 5:45 p.m. Vanderpump, 58, did a series of interviews “very quickly and then tried to exit the press area,” an eyewitness says.

After making the rounds, the Vanderpump Rules star and Todd, 73, left the party. Her costars Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne and Teddi Mellencamp did not start filtering in until about 20 minutes later. “By that time, Lisa and Ken were totally gone,” the onlooker notes. (A source close to Vanderpump said that she “had a family and friends dinner at Tom Tom at 6:30 p.m.”)

Later on, Richards, 50, said that she “didn’t get a chance” to greet the couple. “I was hoping to be able to say hello and say congratulations on season 9, but she left already,” the former child star said.
For her part, Mellencamp, 37, acknowledged that “It’s been a while” since she last spoke to Vanderpump, but she is not purposely keeping her distance. “I’m an adult and I can be cordial,” the accountability coach said. “But I can’t speculate on how I’d feel or act if the person isn’t here.”

Jayne, 47, was a bit more blunt. “I mean, she came in early,” the singer pointed out, adding that she also has not spoken to the Vanderpump Rules star. “It is an all-cast event and, you know, she’s a professional, so …”
Though Vanderpump and Todd managed to prematurely escape, the eyewitness claims that the rest of the cast “seemed closer than ever” at the premiere. Later in the evening, they all headed to Craig’s restaurant to have dinner together.
The season 9 premiere of RHOBH kicked off with Vanderpump and Todd arguing with Richards. The cold open ended with the SUR owner screaming at her onetime pal to “get the f–k out” of her house.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

Kanye Wants Wants Wife Kim Kardashian’s MUA To Relocate To LA for “Emergencies”
Rapper Kanye West has never been shy about declaring himself a creative genius, and his wife – reality TV star/beauty mogul, Kim Kardashian – recently shared that he takes that role into their marriage. Kim’s beauty has served as his YEEZY fashion muse for their nearly five-year-long marriage.

She said this about how Kanye’s fashion advice “makes her life easier:”
“I’ll send him a picture and be like, ‘Do you like this dress?’ and he’ll say, ‘I love it but why don’t you try something like this instead?’ And he’ll send me references of people wearing a totally different style.
“I really do get all of my inspiration from my husband…I literally just wear all of the Yeezy samples. They have a team of stylists and they put it all together. I’m totally inspired by Kanye and the Yeezy team — and listen to the advice of everyone over there who is making all the clothes.”

Kim Kardashian says that Kanye West even gives her advice on something boyfriends and husbands usually hate – make-up! Kim said:
“[Kanye] is actually really opinionated sometimes. He will come in and be like, ‘You know your blush is a little heavy.’ Or say, ‘What are you doing? That’s not the shape of your lip.’”

Wow! Kanye is so invested in Kim’s look that he even wants her longtime make-up artist/KKW Beauty collaborator – Mario Dedivanovic – to move to Los Angeles in case she needs him for an “emergency!” Mario said:
“[Kanye] actually called me and said, ‘Alright how much will it cost for you to move back to L.A.? I want you here for her.'”

Kim added: “He will call Mario without telling me! And Mario shows up without me knowing and he is like, ‘Oh Kanye called me and said it was a makeup emergency.’”

Would you trust your significant other’s beauty/fashion advice?

Lady Gaga Defends ‘Brave’ Cardi B After Grammy Backlash!
Count Lady Gaga in the Cardi B camp after the rapper drew backlash over her Grammy win.
Both of them walked away with trophies at the 61st annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night; Cardi B even made history, becoming the first solo woman to win Best Rap Album ― but only the hip-hop superstar had to defend her win for some reason after some online critics labeled her undeserving.

Gaga apparently caught wind of the controversy and showed her support for the rapper on Tuesday with a heartfelt post, praising her “brave” fellow Grammy winner.
“It is so hard to be a woman in this industry. What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art,” the “A Star Is Born” actress wrote. “I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.”
After years of their fans clamoring for the two music icons to join forces, they met at the awards show and shared a sweet moment together.

Gaga posted a silly video of herself celebrating her Grammy and BAFTA wins by dancing backstage to Cardi B’s Grammy-nominated hit “I l Like It” off her album “Invasion of Privacy,” which refers to the pop star by name.
Cardi B’s night, unfortunately, didn’t end as smoothly, with the rapper deactivating her Instagram page after posting an impassioned video of herself defending her Grammy win.
“You know what? It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else. That’s not my style, and that’s not what I’m with, and I don’t support that. However, I’ve been taking a lot of shit today,” she says in the video. “I’m seeing a lot of bullshit today, and I saw a lot of shit last night, and I’m sick of this shit. I work hard for my motherfucking album.”

She beat out fellow nominees Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T, Travis Scott and the late Mac Miller for the prestigious award.
Fortunately, Gaga wasn’t the only one to show Cardi some love over the weekend, with Chance the Rapper, who is featured on “Invasion of Privacy,” calling her win “overly deserved.”

“It would be inconceivable not to honor u last night,” he wrote in the comments of a now-deleted post. “Straight up bask in it YOU deserve it. Its a feeling very few will ever know, but YOU do.”

#SPORTSNEWS: Denver Broncos agree to trade for Joe Flacco in deal with Ravens
The Denver Broncos have agreed to trade for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed Wednesday to USA TODAY Sports' Mike Jones. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal cannot be processed until the new league year begins on March 14.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first to report the trade. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport wrote on Twitter that the Ravens will receive "a mid-round pick" in return.

Flacco, 34, spent a decade as the Ravens' starting quarterback and led them to a victory in Super Bowl XLVII, earning MVP honors in the process. The Delaware product has thrown for more than 38,000 yards and 212 touchdowns in his NFL career, and he is due to make $18.5 million in 2019.
The move reinforces that Baltimore is ready to move forward with second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson as the full-time starter after he replaced Flacco midway through last season. Jackson started seven games as a rookie in 2018, throwing for 1,201 yards and six touchdowns while helping lead the Ravens to the playoffs.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh had indicated as much last month when speaking about Flacco's future.
"Joe Flacco is going to play really well in this league," Harbaugh told reporters. "Joe can still play; I think we saw that in the first half of this season. Joe’s going to have a market. A lot of teams are going to want Joe, because they understand that. I’ll be in Joe’s corner, wherever he’s at, unless we play him."
For Denver, Flacco represents another attempt to find stability at quarterback under general manager John Elway, who has struggled to find a long-term solution at the position. The Broncos have shuffled through a number of options under center since Peyton Manning retired, including Trevor Siemian, Paxton Lynch and, most recently, Case Keenum.

New Broncos coach Vic Fangio was a defensive assistant on the Ravens' staff during Flacco's first two years (2008-09) with the team.

'King' The Wire Fox Terrier Wins Westminster Dog Show
A wire fox terrier named King has taken the crown at the 143rd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. He's the 15th wire fox terrier to win best in show."
"You know, I love you all," said best in show judge Peter Green as he stood in front of the finalists. "Every one of you." Then Green, who spent years honing his own craft as a professional dog handler to terriers, raised his arm and pointed at the dog he apparently loved the most. "He's best in show."

The 7-year-old King is "as good as it gets," Green said, according to USA Today. "The head, the expression. Everything is really, really as good as it gets. And then the handler has him in perfect condition."
"I look at King, he's like a beautiful painting, a piece of art," King's handler, Gabriel Rangel, said earlier in the day. "The way he stands and performs, he's the whole package."
Over the course of two days, the judges winnowed down the field from 2,800 dogs in 203 breeds, to just seven — the best specimen from each group, such as hound, herding or sporting. Then, late Tuesday, the field dropped to six when a Michigan schipperke named Colton was ruled ineligible because of a conflict of interest. (One of its owners has a "distant working relationship" with judge Green, the dog's handler wrote.)

Judges decide which dog is "best" by comparing the dog against its own breed and group's ideal standards. "Dogs were originally bred to do specific jobs whether hunting, guarding, tracking, or companionship," the Westminster Kennel Club explains on its website. "The standard describes how a dog should look in order to carry out its job."
A wire fox terrier, originally bred to help hunt foxes, should be "alert, quick of movement, keen of expression, on the tip-toe of expectation at the slightest provocation," reads the American Kennel Club's official standard. The standard goes on to describe, in detail, what the dog's body should look like and how stiff the coat should be.

Terriers' personality helps them do particularly well in the competitive tension of a national dog show, terrier breeder Diane Orange has explained. "They are so outgoing and so full of themselves that they don't get exhausted," she said. "And they don't stress out the way some of the more sensitive breeds do. Very few things bother a terrier."

Bono the Havanese won second place. Also in the finals was Burns the longhaired dachshund, a fan favorite. Burns has won 26 best in show titles at various dog shows, but never at Westminster, The New York Times reported. "I think one of the reasons some breeds don't make it to the end is that they just aren't the glamour breeds who are so flashy in the group," Walter Jones, a vice president of the Dachshund Club of America, told the Times.
Although Westminster is known for crowning best in show, junior dog handlers also compete for top honors. NPR's Allyson McCabe reports that judges focus on how well their handler can present their dogs, rather than the dogs' individual attributes.
"In Juniors, they look [to see] that your foot is with the dog's foot. You're following the same pattern as the dog, so you guys match up," explained 15-year-old Imre Mancini. She didn't make the final cut.

After two days of preliminary completion, eight finalists for Best Junior Handler took the floor clad in sequin dresses and dinner jackets, strategically outfitted with hidden treat pockets. Madeline Beuhler, 17, won best junior handler – her pug was a crowd favorite.

The U.S. National Debt Hits Record $22 Trillion
The U.S. government's public debt is now more than $22 trillion — the highest it has ever been. The Treasury Department data comes as tax revenue has fallen and federal spending continues to rise. The new debt level reflects a rise of more than $2 trillion from the day President Trump took office in 2017.

Despite being in the second-longest economic expansion since the post–World War II boom, the U.S. is projected to rack up annual deficits and incur national debt at rates not seen since the 1940s, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
Over the next 10 years, annual federal deficits — when Congress spends more than it takes in through tax revenues — are expected to average $1.2 trillion, which would be 4.4 percent of gross domestic product. That's far higher than the 2.9 percent of GDP that has been the average for the past 50 years.

"Other than the period immediately after World War II, the only other time the average deficit has been so large over so many years was after the 2007–2009 recession," the CBO said last month.
Annual deficits and the national debt rose to new heights under the Obama administration, and the trend has continued under President Trump.
As a share of the U.S. economy, the national debt stood at 78 percent of GDP in 2018. But the CBO says it will rise to 93 percent by the end of 2029. Again, those numbers put the ratio at levels not seen since just after World War II.
"By 2029, debt is estimated to reach $28.7 trillion," the CBO said in January, referring to federal debt held by the public — a figure that doesn't include the billions of dollars that the government owes to itself. In recent years, those intragovernmental holdings have hovered well above $5.5 trillion.

"This milestone is another sad reminder of the inexcusable tab our nation's leaders continue to run up and will leave for the next generation," reads a joint statement from former GOP Sen. Judd Gregg and former Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell, the co-chairmen of the nonpartisan group Campaign to Fix the Debt.
Calling on Congress to cut into the national debt, Gregg and Rendell said, "The fiscal recklessness over past years has been shocking, with few willing to step up with a real plan. We need responsible leadership to fix the debt, not a worsening of partisanship."

The U.S. hit the new height despite Trump's promises on the campaign trail that he would reduce America's debt load. Almost exactly four years ago, he said that if the national debt topped $21 trillion by the end of President Obama's term in office, "Obama will have effectively bankrupted our country."
The national debt nearly doubled under Obama: It was $10.6 trillion when he took office and was nearly $20 trillion when he left. The rise has been blamed on factors from the Great Recession to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and rising costs of Social Security and Medicare. Many of those pressures still exist.

Trump has long said that he knows how to solve America's debt problem. As he said in 2015, "When you have $18-$19 trillion in debt, they need someone like me to straighten it out."
On Jan. 20, 2017, the total amount of outstanding public debt was $19.9 trillion. On Monday, it surpassed $22 trillion. That's despite Trump saying in August that new tariffs on imported goods would let the U.S. "start paying down large amounts" of the national debt.
"The president is very much aware of the realities presented by our national debt," White House budget director Mick Mulvaney said last October, when the government said the federal deficit had ballooned to $779 billion in the most recent fiscal year.

Mulvaney said the deficits would be offset by gains in economic growth; he also called on Congress to rein in what he called "irresponsible and unnecessary spending."\
The new data comes as Washington copes with the fallout of the longest government shutdown in U.S. history — and tries to avoid another shutdown by reaching a deal on Trump's demands for a wall along the U.S. Southern border.

The U.S. is entering new debt levels more than a year after Trump signed a $1.5 trillion tax cut that decreased the top corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent. The legislation also gave most U.S. taxpayers at least a small break, although the largest benefits went to the wealthiest Americans.
Republicans in Congress and the White House had predicted their late 2017 tax cut would boost economic growth and help create jobs. While the cut prompted the CBO to raise its GDP and job growth projections, as NPR's Susan Davis has reported, "GDP growth is forecast to slow down after 2020, in part because all of this economic stimulus is likely to drive up interest rates."
The CBO predicts federal spending will rise from 20.8 percent of GDP in 2019 to 23 percent in 2029, with programs such as Social Security and Medicare expected to spend more to cope with an aging population and rising health care costs.

Providing historical context for the current pattern "The deficit typically grows during recessions — when tax receipts shrink and demand for food stamps and other government assistance rises — then falls during good times. The current spike in the deficit at a time of strong economic growth and low unemployment represents a break with that historical pattern."
