#RHOA: K. Michelle Throws Shade at Drew Sidora Ahead of RHOA Season Debut

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back with a major season shakeup, and newcomer K. Michelle is already making noise, shading her new co-worker.
While on the Sherri Shepherd show press run for the new season, K. Michelle didn’t shy away from throwing a little shade at co-star Drew Sidora, specifically calling out her singing abilities or lack thereof.

K kept it slick, saying:“ I try to support all the beginners in music.”
And she didn’t stop there, sliding in a little jab at Drew’s acting resume too:
“Now Drew has movies. Drew has talent… movies that no one really knows of.”

From what we’re seeing already, these two are definitely going to butt heads this season.
But according to K, it’s not even about music, because, in her view, there’s no real competition.

The RHOA newbie shared: “She would hope it would be about music, but I don’t fight about music… You know, when something doesn’t compare.” One thing is clear: K. Michelle is stepping into the housewives universe ready to shake the table, and Drew Sidora might be first on the list.

#MusicNews Durand Bernarr Taps James Fauntleroy for ‘Wild Ride’
Buckle up. Durand Bernarr is back with his new single “Wild Ride” featuring James Fauntleroy.
The Fauntleroy production knocks with the same intensity Bernarr feels for a prospective partner. While Bernarr is in the driver’s seat, Fauntleroy’s vocals ride in the backseat.

“You can have the control / Don’t rush, you go slow, slow / And I don’t care where we go / Don’t even know, whoa,” he sings.
“‘Wild Ride’ is about being ready when the moment finds you,” says Bernarr. “It’s about intention, knowing who you are, what you want and showing up fully when it matters most.”
“Wild Ride” is the lead single from Bernarr’s upcoming fourth album, set to arrive later this year. It will follow his Grammy-winning LP, BLOOM, crowned Best Progressive R&B Album in February. It marked Bernarr’s first Grammy win.

Following Bernarr’s win, BLOOM received a significant streaming boost on Spotify, with “Generous” netting a 1,195% increase and the GAWD-featured “Flounce” rising by 910%.

During his sit-down with Keke Palmer on her Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast, Bernarr spoke about the direction of his next album. “It’s a continuation of BLOOM,” he said. “I wanted it to be a bit more upbeat and also talk about other things that surround being in close proximity with people that you have a relationship with, a bond with.”

Released in February 2025, BLOOM includes the Grammy-nominated hits “Overqualified” and “Here We Are.” “BLOOM is me in full color—raw, sentimental, and completely unfiltered. My parents made sure I knew my voice mattered, and that foundation shaped not just who I am, but the music I create,” Bernarr said. “This album is about growth—discovering love beyond romance, cultivating self-acceptance, and thriving in the spaces that allow us to bloom.”

BLOOM was ranked No. 1 on Rated R&B’s 25 Best R&B Albums of 2025 list.
Before releasing BLOOM, Bernarr treated fans to his En Route EP, which scored a Grammy nod for Best Progressive R&B Album.

Toni Braxton Unable to Finish Show in Minneapolis Due to 'Unexpected Personal Emergency'
Toni Braxton apologized to fans after cutting her Minneapolis show short due to a personal emergency
"You deserved my everything and I hate that I couldn’t give it to you," she wrote on her Instagram Stories

The Grammy winner has previously spoken about managing health challenges, including lupus and a 2022 emergency heart surgery
Toni Braxton's set was cut short in Minneapolis.
The "He Wasn't Man Enough" singer, 58, is in the midst of performing shows with New Edition and Boyz II Men on the New Edition Way Tour, which made a stop at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Sunday, March 22 — but Braxton didn't finish her portion of the show.

The Grammy winner took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, March 23 to address the mishap. "My loves, I am so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show last night. I had an unexpected personal emergency and had no choice but to step away," she wrote.
"You deserved my everything and I hate that I couldn’t give it to you," continued Braxton. "I feel your love from here. Thank you for understanding."

The tour features Braxton and Boyz II Men performing mini-sets throughout the show, with the "Un-Break My Heart" artist generally delivering nine songs. It's unclear what was ultimately cut from the Minneapolis show.
While Braxton didn't share the reason behind not completing her performance, she's opened up in the past about the difficulty of touring with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The "Spanish Guitar" musician also underwent emergency heart surgery in 2022.

Ahead of embarking on the Love & Laughter residency with Cedric the Entertainer in Las Vegas in 2024, Braxton opened up to PEOPLE about feeling "anxiety" due to her medical condition.

"I've been feeling okay, that's been the anxiety, just making sure I'm ready," she said at the time. "My doctor said I'm ready to go. I got checked off, everything's good, but there is a little anxiety performing and having that health scare. But the man upstairs said it's going to be okay, so I know I'm going to be alright."

Braxton also spoke about taking precautions to manage her health. "You know what? I don't always eat good 'cause I'm a burger girl, so I'm not going to sit here and lie and say, 'Oh, I eat real good.' I try to eat as healthy as I can, especially when I'm working, I try to be disciplined, but I have to have those burgers and things like that," she said.

Jury finds Bill Cosby sexually assaulted woman in 1972, awards her more than $19M
A civil jury in California found Monday that Bill Cosby was liable for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 1972 and awarded her $59.25 million.
After a nearly two-week trial in Santa Monica, jurors found Cosby, 88, liable for the sexual battery and assault of Donna Motsinger. They awarded her $17.5 million in past damages and $1.75 million for future damages, including “mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, inconvenience, grief, anxiety, humiliation, and emotional distress.”

Then in a second phase of the trial Monday afternoon, they awarded an additional $40 million in punitive damages.
Cosby’s attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, said in an email after the initial award earlier Monday that they are disappointed and fully intend to appeal the verdict. She did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the punitive damages.

Deliberations lasted about two days.
The decision came nearly five years after Cosby was freed from prison in Pennsylvania when the state Supreme Court threw out a criminal conviction based on similar allegations. He has settled some similar lawsuits and has been ordered to pay in others, but Monday's award is likely the most he has had to pay in a case.

“This verdict is not just about me – it’s about finally being heard and holding Mr. Cosby accountable,” Motsinger said in a statement. “I have carried the weight of what happened to me for more than 50 years. It never goes away. Today, a jury saw the truth and held him accountable. That means everything. I hope this gives strength to other survivors who are still waiting for their moment to be heard.”

Motsinger had been a server at a restaurant in Sausalito near San Francisco who said in her lawsuit, filed in 2023, that Cosby had invited her to his stand-up comedy show at a theater in nearby San Carlos. Both were in their 30s at the time. She said Cosby gave her wine and two pills that she believed were aspirin, and that she was going in and out of consciousness as two men put her in a limousine.

“She woke up in her house with all her clothes off, except her underwear on – no top, no bra, and no pants,” the lawsuit said. “She knew she had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby.”

In court filings, Cosby's lawyers argued that the allegations rested almost entirely on speculation and assumption, saying Motsinger “freely admits that she has no idea what happened.”

Motsinger's lawsuit moved with surprising quickness through the California courts, taking just 2 1/2 years from filing until verdict while other lawsuits against him stalled.

“We are grateful to the jury for their careful attention to the evidence and to Ms. Motsinger for the extraordinary courage it took to come forward,” said Jesse Creed, one of her attorneys from the Panish Shea Ravipudi law firm that represented her.

Cosby did not testify at the trial, whose witnesses included Andrea Constand, the Temple University sports administrator he was convicted of sexually assaulting in a Pennsylvania criminal court in 2018. The state's Supreme Court threw out the verdict and Cosby was freed from prison after serving nearly three years of a three- to 10-year sentence.

Motsinger first made her allegations anonymously in a 2005 lawsuit filed by Constand.

The Associated Press does not typically name people who say they have been sexually abused unless they come forward publicly and consent to be named, as Constand and Motsinger have.

In 2022, a jury in Santa Monica awarded $500,000 to a woman who said Cosby sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion when she was a teenager in 1975.

Motsinger's lawsuit echoed allegations of rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment made by at least 60 women against Cosby, all of which he has denied.

The former stand-up comedy and television superstar once widely known as “America’s Dad” became the first celebrity tried and convicted in the #MeToo era before his conviction was permanently thrown out when appeals court found he gave incriminating testimony in a deposition only after believing he had immunity from prosecution.

College Basketball Star JuJu Watkins Set To Release First Nike Signature Shoe This Summer

It’s almost time for JuJu Watkins’ first signature shoe to hit the courts.

ICYMI: USC guard JuJu Watkins confirmed earlier this year that she’s launching her first #Nike signature basketball shoe, the LeBron NXXT Gen by JuJu “Silver Lining.” She’s the first athlete to have a signature model under Nike’s LeBron NXXT brand, a project she developed in collaboration with Lakers star #LeBronJames. The design is full of personal touches, including a quilted flower pattern inside the collar and tongue, plus a “By JuJu” doodle on the back of the tongue. The “Silver Lining” theme reflects her knack for finding positives in challenges, like overcoming injuries.

Thanks to a recent report from The Athletic, we now know the shoe is slated to drop this summer. #LeBron already debuted it during last month’s Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game, and JuJu recently gifted a pair to her USC teammates.

Nicki Minaj Allegedly Faces Lawsuit Over $275K in Concert Production Costs
Nicki Minaj is being accused of shortchanging a production company out of more than $275,000.
According to court documents reviewed by TMZ, 24/7 Productions first worked with the 43-year-old rapper on the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards to provide live entertainment production services.

In late 2023, the company says Minaj asked them to assist with her concerts at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball and her album launch for Pink Friday 2.
The company claims it provided budgets to Minaj’s team, which were approved, and delivered advance planning, on-site management, staffing, audio, lighting, rigging, ground transportation, and overall logistics.
24/7 Productions says it advanced more than $275,000 to Minaj for expenses that were to be repaid and notes that Minaj's company, Pink Friday Productions, received around $650,000 for her Jingle Ball performances alone but never settled the bill with 24/7.

The company claims it tried to collect the money for years, but Minaj's team reportedly responded with "We'll look into this."

Although the rapper herself has yet to respond to the lawsuit via social media, Alex Bruesewitz, a senior advisor to Donald Trump and friend to Minaj, denied TMZ’s report on Monday night (March 23).
“Another day, another TMZ lie about @NICKIMINAJ,” Bruesewitz, 29, wrote on his X account. “This is completely false!”

24/7 Productions is suing for breach of contract and more, seeking damages exceeding $275,000.
Minaj’s sixth studio album, nicknamed NM6 by fans, was originally announced to be released on March 27, 2026. However, the rapper shared last month that she “won’t be releasing an album until my contract is renegotiated” and until details about an alleged “sabotage” attempt from Billboard was uncovered.

Taraji P. Henson's Rehearsal Photos for Broadway Debut Released Ahead of First Performances Next Week!
Taraji P. Henson is making her Broadway debut in a revival of the classic play Joe Turner’s Come and Gone and we just got a peek inside the rehearsal room!
The Oscar-nominated actress is starring alongside Cedric the Entertainer in the new production directed by acclaimed actress and director Debbie Allen, hot off her win of the Academy Honorary Award.

Set in 1911, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone unfolds in a Pittsburgh boarding house run by the steadfast Seth and warm-hearted Bertha Holly (Cedric and Taraji). Their home offers refuge to Black travelers navigating the upheaval of the Great Migration. Among them is Herald Loomis, a man on a quest to reunite with his lost wife—and to reclaim the self he was forced to abandon during seven years of forced labor under Joe Turner. As buried traumas surface and spiritual forces awaken, Loomis’s journey becomes one of profound self-discovery. Around him, others seek connection, direction, and healing from a past marked by pain. Through poetic dialogue and vivid, deeply human characters, Wilson crafts a powerful meditation on identity, resilience, and renewal.

Broadway favorites Joshua Boone, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, and Maya Boyd also star in the play.
Performances begin on Monday, March 30 ahead of the official opening night on Saturday, April 25. The limited run will end on July 19.

'The Book of Mormon' Stars Reunite for 15th Anniversary Performance, New Epstein Joke Added to Show
A brand-new joke has been added to the Broadway musical The Book of Mormon after 15 years on stage.
The original stars of the musical joined the writing team to celebrate the 15th anniversary performance on Thursday (March 19) at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in New York City.

Original cast members Andrew Rannells, Nikki M. James, Rory O’Malley, and more joined writers Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Bobby Lopez at the performance, where their new Epstein joke debuted.

In the act two song “Spooky Mormon Hell Dream,” Elder Price comes across some of the most evil men in history during his nightmare, in which he’s sent to hell for breaking the Mormon rules.
A reference to Jeffrey Dahmer has now been replaced by a reference to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 and has now become one of the most debated topics in the political world.

People reports that Stone told the audience, “I want to talk about the Epstein joke, that’s what I want to talk about.”
Parker added, “You guys were the first to see the Epstein joke tonight! “We spent three months on the rewrite, and it was finally here tonight!”
Get tickets now to see the show on Broadway. A “Magical Mormon Mystery Week” has been announced for June 9 to 14, with special guests at every show.

'Superman' actress and Cannes winner Valerie Perrine dies aged 82

Valerie Perrine, the Oscar-nominated actress best known for her performances in Lenny alongside Dustin Hoffman and her role as Eve Teschmacher in Superman (1978) and Superman II (1980), has died at the age of 82.
Her death was announced by filmmaker Stacey Souther, who directed the 2022 documentary Valerie about Perrine’s career and battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Souther wrote in a post on Perrine’s official Facebook page: “It is with deep sadness that I share the heartbreaking news that Valerie has passed away. She faced Parkinson’s disease with incredible courage and compassion, never once complaining.”
“She was a true inspiration who lived life to the fullest—and what a magnificent life it was. The world feels less beautiful without her in it. I love you, Valerie. I’ll see you on the other side.”

The Texas-born actress started her career as a showgirl in Las Vegas. On 9 August 1969, Perrine was invited to a party at Sharon Tate’s home in Benedict Canyon by her partner, Hollywood hair stylist Jay Sebring. She unexpectedly had to work that evening – the same night members of the Manson Family cult murdered six people, including Tate and Sebring.

In 2023, on the anniversary of his death, Perrine wrote: “Remembering Jay Sebring today. We dated. I was supposed to be with him at Sharon Tate’s house.”
Her big break came when she was cast in the film version of Slaughterhouse-Five (1972), playing a soft-core porn actress. She then played the girlfriend of Jeff Bridges’ racing car driver in The Last American Hero in 1973, and gained notoriety that same year as the first actress to appear nude on American network television by intentionally exposing her breasts during the 4 May 1973 PBS broadcast of Bruce Jay Friedman’s Steambath.

In 1974, she played Honey Bruce, the wife of comedian Lenny Bruce, in Bob Fosse’s acclaimed biopic Lenny, starring Dustin Hoffman. She won the Best Actress award at Cannes for her performance, and was also nominated for both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.
Perrine then became known for her role as Miss Eve Teschmancher, the love interest of Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor in Superman and its sequel.

Other notable roles included Charlotta Steele, the ex-wife of a rodeo champion played by Robert Redford in The Electric Horseman (1979); Jack Nicholson’s wife in 1982’s The Border; and supermodel Samantha “Sam” Simpson in Can’t Stop The Music, the now-cult 1980 pseudo-biopic of disco group the Village People.

Paapa Essiedu Receives Death Threats for Harry Potter Role
*Paapa Essiedu, who has been cast as Severus Snape in HBO Max’s upcoming Harry Potter series, has revealed he has received death threats and racist abuse as a result of his role.

The actor described messages telling him to quit or face murder, explaining the emotional toll of the harassment in an interview with The Sunday Times.
“I’ve been told, ‘Quit or I’ll murder you,’” Essiedu said. “It really matters. The reality is that if I look at Instagram I will see somebody saying, ‘I’m going to come to your house and kill you.’ So, while I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be murdered…that could age badly! But, yes, while I hope I’ll be OK, nobody should have to encounter this for doing their job.”

Essiedu added that the threats have strengthened his determination to make the character his own.
“The abuse fuels me. And makes me more passionate about making this character my own, because I think of how I felt as a kid. I would imagine myself at Hogwarts on broomsticks, and the idea that a kid like me can see themselves represented in that world. That’s motivation to not be intimidated by someone saying they’d rather I died instead of doing work I’m going to be really proud of.”

The series, first announced in 2021, will adapt J.K. Rowling’s seven-book saga, with each season based on a single novel. Essiedu joins a cast that includes Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Alastair Stout as Ron, Arabella Stanton as Hermione, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid. Filming began last summer. Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO tapped Rowling to produce the series, though she will not oversee daily operations.

Despite the backlash, Essiedu remains committed to the role, noting the personal significance of representation. The Harry Potter TV series is set to launch next year and is expected to span a decade, with Essiedu reflecting on how the project may impact his life: “I know my life is going to change in a big way, but I have to just surrender to that. I could have children by the end of this.”

Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ Reenters Billboard Charts

*Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” is once again climbing the charts, reaffirming its enduring popularity decades after its release.
On the R&B Digital Song Sales chart, the “Thriller” classic has returned to the top 10 at No. 8 following a brief absence, Forbes reports. Its all-time peak on the chart is No. 7, and across its chart history, “Billie Jean” has spent 43 weeks on the listing
The song also sets a personal best on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart, re-entering at No. 12. It has appeared on this broader chart for only four weeks, a fraction of its tenure on the R&B-only tally.

Globally, “Billie Jean” lands at No. 99 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. Jackson has long maintained a presence across multiple Billboard charts simultaneously, a feat few artists sustain over decades.
The success of “Billie Jean” builds on Jackson’s historic Billboard performance last year. In November 2025, his iconic track “Thriller” climbed from No. 32 to No. 10 on the Hot 100, making Jackson the only artist to reach the top 10 across six decades: the 1970s, ’80s, ’90s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s.

Halloween timing helped drive “Thriller’s” resurgence during the October 31–November 6 tracking week. Luminate data showed the song generated 14 million streams, a 57% increase from the previous week, and 9.3 million radio listeners, up 124%. “Thriller” originally reached its peak at No. 4 on the Hot 100 in 1984.

The song also surpassed fellow Thriller hits “Billie Jean” and “Beat It,” which each spent 25 weeks on the Hot 100 starting in 1983, highlighting Jackson’s unmatched impact on the charts, Billboard reports.

#BOXOFFICENEWS; ‘Project Hail Mary’ tops the box office with record-breaking $80.6M opening weekend

Project Hail Mary, starring Ryan Gosling, soared to the top of the North American box office with an impressive debut of about $80.5–$80.6 million. The sci-fi adventure not only claimed the No. 1 spot by a wide margin, but also delivered the biggest opening of the year so far.

The film’s launch marks a milestone for Amazon MGM Studios, setting a new record for the company and surpassing the previous high set by Creed III. It also outpaced earlier 2026 releases, including Scream 7. Strong reviews and enthusiastic audience reactions helped push ticket sales beyond early projections, with the movie earning a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes and an “A” grade from CinemaScore audiences.

Adapted from Andy Weir’s bestselling novel, the big-budget film—directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller—follows a scientist on a high-stakes mission to prevent humanity’s extinction. With a production cost around $200 million, its long-term performance will be key to turning a profit. Internationally, the movie added $60.4 million from 82 markets, bringing its global total to roughly $140.9 million.

“We believe deeply in the Hail Mary, and it’s clear audiences do as well,” says Amazon MGM’s distribution chief Kevin Wilson. “What we’re seeing in theaters — the energy, the exit scores, the word of mouth — is everything we believed this film would deliver.”

Far behind in second place, Hoppers brought in $18 million, followed by Dhurandhar The Revenge with $9.6 million. Ready or Not: Here I Come and Reminders of Him rounded out the top five with $9.1 million and $8 million, respectively.

The rest of the top 10 included Scream 7 ($4.3 million), GOAT ($3.5 million), Undertone ($3 million), Wuthering Heights ($475,000), and Avatar: Fire and Ash ($280,000).
