Tamar Braxton THREATENS TO SUE K. Michelle OVER "Muppet"
Comment & "Jumping Gates" Threat!
Tamar Braxton and K. Michelle are quickly becoming enemies as legal threats
are a-flying. Tamar, who apparently doesn't take kindly to being called a
muppet, just filed a "Cease And Desist" order over K. Michelle trashing her...on
Twitter. "Braxton Family Values" star Tamar Braxton issued a "Cease And Desist"
order from her New York lawyers yesterday over comment and threats she alleges
"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star K. Michelle has made.
When "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" premiered last week, Memphis native K.
Michelle made several allegations that her ex-manager and ex-boyfriend abused
her mentally and physically. And also stole from her. Without saying record
exec Memphitz's name, folks knew exactly who she was speaking of since he played
both roles in her life, and she also made similar allegations over a year ago on
Twitter.
Tamar, at the same time the show aired, tweeted to fans that people
need to just let the "girl" live her fairytale. While Tamar is indeed good
friends with Memphitz's wife, Toya (and also appeared on her show "Tiny &
Toya"), many assumed she was taking up for her girl's husband and accusing K.
Michelle of lying.
K. Michelle then went on TT Torrez's radio show and said
she "jumps gates" and Tamar looks like a muppet and needs to fall back. Shots
fired?
According to the cease & desist letter, Tamar was actually speaking
about Toya. Tamar claims she was defending her friend against people attacking
her about her husband and their Paris vacation they were on at the time.

So basically, Tamar is pissy that K. Michelle threatened to fight her and
called her a "muppet!" Now Tamar is demanding a public apology and money to

The James Fortune Child Abuse Case UPDATE Part #2 MUGSHOT

This is the MUGSHOT of James Fortune back in
2001
You have read my post yesterday about the pending lawsuit against James
Fortune and his wife, Cheryl, stemming from child abuse allegations back in
2001. Allegedly, James severely burned his stepson, Cheryl’s biological son, by
pushing him into a bathtub of scalding hot water. The child was four at the
time. He suffered excruciating burns to a majority of his body, from his waist
to his feet and on his hands. Since the time of the incident the boy has
undergone numerous skin grafts in an effort to remove the scars. Now, the
biological father, Roderick Davenport, is suing the Fortune’s to pay for plastic
surgery to fix the disfiguring scars on his son’s body. He’s asking for $5
million to take care of the procedures.
Davenport says that he is pursuing the
lawsuit now because the child is 15 and old enough for the surgeries.
According to Fox News, Davenport says the injuries at the time of the
incident looked like his son was burned with fire. In the video below you can
see the damage done by the scalding hot water. We warn you that they are
graphic, even though some parts are blurred out. Davenport also says he couldn’t
believe that someone would do that to a 4 year old. He claims he was informed by
doctors that his son was likely held in the scalding hot water in order to
receive such severe burns.
In James’ initial call to 911 after the child was
burned, he claimed that his son burned himself in the bathtub by messing around
and turning the water on hot. The 4 year old spent 63 days at Shriner’s Burn
Hospital in Galveston after he was flown there by life flight. Child Protective
Services took custody away from Cheryl. After an investigation Davenport was
granted custody and Cheryl was given visitation.
“He has had dreams that awake him at night. He remembers the helicopter,”
says Davenport. Reports say that in 2003, James Fortune pled guilty to Felony
Injury to a Child and was given six years deferred adjudication, however, he
denies this report.
James has released a statement regarding the lawsuit earlier
this week, and recently released another.
Here is his second
statement: “Several months ago I received a demand for payment from my
stepson’s father for an injury to my stepson that occurred in 2001. In the
midst of negotiating a settlement regarding that injury, I was served with a
lawsuit and now my wife and I are defending ourselves in civil court. At no time
in my life was I convicted of felony injury to a child. Following my step-son’s
injury, there was a criminal investigation and all matters were resolved.
Since that time, my family and I, including my stepson, have maintained a
continuous loving family environment. Although his father has maintained
custody, Cheryl and I have enjoyed continuous uninterrupted open visitations
with my step-son since 2001. We are shocked by this lawsuit but understand
people are free to use the court system to pursue matters, whether or not the
claims are baseless. We are confident through this process, the ultimate
decision maker will render an outcome that is just and fair. We believe in our
American justice system and know that once all facts are made transparent
justice will prevail in our favor. This lawsuit is a direct result of our
desire to continue the uninterrupted love, commitment and financial support as
well as to protect the ongoing well being while enhancing the current living
conditions of our son. We have given our stepson who is currently in our care
during his summer break continuous support and understand these allegations are
a direct result of not only our increased profile and financial viability but an
individual’s desire to exploit such.
We intend to vehemently defend our right to protect our family while
maintaining the character integrity and trusted core values the Fortune family
has been blessed to exemplify.”

Davenport is suing for five million dollars. He says he filed the suit
because now at 15-years-old his son is old enough to get plastic surgery to
correct some of the scarring and Davenport says Fortune was not agreeing to pay
for those expenses.

what's been happening since they've been in the limelight.
The new reality series tells the current, real-life story of
five multi-talented R&B stars (remember back when you needed actually talent
in order to be a star?) who hit the spotlight, and then saw it dim.
According to the press release, this is what's going
down: The series offers a personal glimpse into their private worlds as they
lean on each other and offer candid revelations about their efforts to deal with
major life transitions and challenges such as divorce, parenting issues, drugs,
alcohol, physical abuse and more.
These friends come together, at the instigation of Faith
Evans, to produce a charity album inspired by her friend, Whitney Houston. In
honor of the late singer, proceeds from the album will benefit the Whitney E.
Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts, an institution that Houston
attended, located in her hometown of East Orange, NJ.
At the same time, they are
all juggling myriad personal challenges and responsibilities in addition to
making music - including raising families. Faith prepares for a major move as
she maintains her businesses and helps manage the estate of a music icon.

Faith Evans: Faith has been in the industry for

Nicci Gilbert: She's the lead singer/songwriter
from the R&B group Brownstone. She's now spun her 15-year-career into the
acting and fashion worlds.
Monifah: After getting her start singing
background for reggae artist Maxi Priest, she worked with Heavy D to get her
career and first album Moods...Moments off the ground in the late 90's. Fifteen
years and 1 Gold certified album later, the "I Miss You" singer is currently
writing, producing and recording her fourth CD as she continues performing live
with her band "Soulution."
Syleena Johnson: The singer says she lost her
love for music "for a minute because it broke my heart at one point...but I am
glad to say that we are back together and learning to love each other again."
The daughter of the nation's first black female police commissioner and
legendary soul and blues singer Syl Johnson, she was initially discouraged from
getting into the music business by her father, who had many disappointing
experiences in the industry.But after training and a breakup with an abusive
boyfriend, she embarked on a career 10 years ago. She's well known for handling
the vocals on Kanye West's "All Falls Down" track.
Ketara Shavon Wyatt, b.k.a. Keke Wyatt:
She's the daughter of a Caucasian vocalist mother and an African American
organist/vocalist father and started singing at two. KeKe grew up in the church,
where the family had the image of a happy Christian family; but behind closed
doors there were problems stemming from abuse and also adversity experienced by
the family's multi-racial background. At the height of her career breakthrough,
the "Nothing In This World" singer's private struggle with domestic violence
became the main focus in the media. In 2001, Wyatt was arrested for stabbing her
husband; the charges were later dropped, but her career suffered from the
negative attention. In 2004, the songstress signed to New Orleans based Cash
Money Records. Thanks to Hurricane Katrina, her album promo and sales
suffered. She now serves as a spokesperson for the National Coalition Against
Domestic Violence. The show premieres on Monday, August 20 at 10

winner Jennifer Hudson has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the NBC musical

Veronica Moore, a Tony Award-winning Broadway star who impacts the lives of
Karen (fellow American Idol alum Katharine McPhee) and Ivy (Megan Hilty). “This
series is a showcase for some of the best musical talent in the business and
that’s a fitting description for Jennifer Hudson,” NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt
said in a statement. “Her character will represent someone who reached their

Chris Brown and Drake Offered $1 million To Fight In Celebrity

Chris Brown and Drake famously got into a fist
fight over Rihanna last month and now a boxing promoter is offering them big
bucks to step into the ring… According to reports Celebrity Boxing founder
Damon Feldman has offered Chris and Drake $1 million apiece to duke it out live
on television. Should they accept the Brawl for the Barbaian would go down
August 25 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The gag is that a portion of

The mother of Chris Bosh’s first born, Alison Mathis, is
airing their dirty laundry. In an exclusive interview with Gossip Extra
Alison explains how it was Chris’ idea to have their baby out of wedlock, but
that he’d promised her mother and his mother that they would eventually
wed. In the video below we find out Chris ended up marrying someone else and
putting her through a bitter legal fight over visitation and child support

Miami Heat 2012 Championship Parade!
The Big 3--Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh--and the
rest of the squad were celebrated with their jerseys being plastered on their
big cake. Last Thursday night after the Heat's big win, Divine Delicacies had
only 2 hours to whip up this giant sake for the team to bring to their
afterparty at Fountainbleu. It was a one story cake with the Gold painted
Trophy on top. They also did a Happy Belated Birthday Cake for player Udonis
Haslem.
As for the second official cake brought to the official party
at Bamboo on Saturday, Divine Delicacies created this:
It's a 4 tier Vanilla Rum Cake topped with a Giant 24K edible
Gold trophy replica of The O'Brien championship trophy.
The cake had the
whole team's player's jerseys around the red tier with 6 bands of gold Swarovsky
crystals surrounding it.
There was also 3D airbrush fondant flames around the
other tiers.
In the trophy part was a Custom Swarovski Crystal Heat logo
with more than 500 crystals. Plus. a custom Gold Shadow stone that read "2012
NBA Champions" created by Cake Monogram Miami.

Miami fans cheered the team as they proudly displayed their
trophy on the parade route.
They ended with a celebration at American Airlines

Chaka Khan Says her 2011 Diabetes Diagnosis Inspired Diet
Chaka Khan said her recent health kick –
which has so far resulted in a 60 pound weight loss – was her immediate response
to discovering that she suffers from diabetes.
The R&B legend, 59, was diagnosed with the blood sugar
condition last year. She said the condition, and winning custody of her young
granddaughter, were just the kick starts she needed to begin her drastic weight
loss program, which involved fasting and adopting a vegan diet.
“I had diabetes type two and high blood pressure. I adopted my
10-year-old granddaughter last year. I have to be there for her,” she told
Essence.com. “I knew I couldn’t go out like this so I just fasted for, like,
a month, then I went vegan and went off meats and all dairy and anything with
eyes. If I have a craving for a little baked fish or something I might eat it.
But that’s about it. I’ve mostly been doing a lot of high-protein foods and a
lot of vegetables and exercise…
“I felt like I need to heal my body, so I
would just fast and eat no meat, no dairy. I’ve never been a fan of meat, dairy
and sugar. And when I developed diabetes last year I said, ‘Oh OK, I’m not going
to be here long. A change is coming.’ So I started getting my mindset, then I
started the fasting.” But Khan admits she’s not a fan of working out to keep
the excess weight off her new slimmer frame: “I don’t like exercising at all. I
guess if I had one (exercise) of choice it would be walking. I do not run and
I’m losing, like, on average about five pounds a month. I’ve lost 60 pounds
since October.”
As previously reported, Khan was awarded permanent
guardianship of her then-10 year old granddaughter in December after claiming
her son and the child’s mother were incapable of caring for her as a result of
drug abuse.

Cabbell... In her memoir Lies of a Real Housewife, Angela Stanton's primary
target is Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks, who she accuses of getting
her caught up in a life of crime and then leaving her to rot in prison. Ever
since Phaedra filed a lawsuit against Angela's publisher, Vibe Publishing, Angie
hasn't made a peep about Phae and has since trained her sights on Shorty Lo's
manager, Johnnie Cabbell, to keep the buzz going.
In her book Angela claims she was rapped by Johnnie Cabbell
while she was on her period and that they worked out a financial agreement to
keep her from prosecuting. Over the weekend Angela antagonized Johnnie and
then released audio of him admitting to the rape, apologizing for it and
offering her money.
Tony Parker Sues Club Over Eye Injury
San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is suing the Manhattan
nightclub where a brawl broke out allegedly involving Chris Brown and Drake.
Tony was injured in the clash, scratching his retina. The suit was filed in
State Supreme Court in Manhattan on Thursday. It says the W.i.P club in SoHo and
its operators were negligent in security and supervision, which allowed the
fight to take place. Tony is asking for 20 million dollars. The club has been
shutdown since the fight, with the manager getting arrested on two outstanding
warrants, and other patrons threatening legal action.
Hilarious moment dock collapses during wedding photo shoot... and
groom swims for shore leaving bridesmaid to rescue his bride
If there is ever a day a husband should be chivalrous, it is
his wedding. But when Eric and Maegan Walber fell into the water during a
photoshoot, Mr Walber swam for shore, rather than rescuing his dunked
bride. The entire bridal party got a soaking when a dock at the Bay Pointe
Inn on Gun Lake in Shelbyville, Michigan, collapsed. However, the new Mrs
Walber gracefully took it in her stride and laughed. Her only concern was a
falling down gown and finding her footing while wearing the heavy dress.

Fashion heiress Margherita Missoni makes gypsy weddings chic as she marries her
racing driver beau 'I was like, “Oh, man, that really just happened. I can't

added. Afterwards, the soaking wet bridal party got a standing ovation from
other diners at the restaurant. And Mrs Walber's evening wasn't completely
ruined as she had the dress that she'd worn to the rehearsal dinner the night
before to change into. 'It makes for a good story,' she said. 'We'll be
telling our grandkids.'
Snoop Dog’s Son Lands College Scholarship Offer To Play Football
For UCLA
Cordell Broadus, son of rapper Snoop Dogg, received his first
scholarship offer from UCLA. Cordell will be entering his sophomore year at
Diamond Bar High School this fall. Listed at 6′2″, 185lbs, he played wide
receiver and defensive back for the freshmen team this past season. “We’re
expecting him to really lead us the next three years,” Diamond Bar High School
football coach Ryan Maine said. “Hopefully [our athletes] get bigger, stronger
and keep leading this team.” Cordell isn’t the only high-profile recruit to
receive attention from the UCLA football program. Justin Combs, son of rapper
Sean “Diddy” Combs, will be playing football for the Bruins next season. I
can’t believe Cordell is so tall and already getting offers from college teams.
It seems like it was only yesterday, Cordell, was playing football in the
Pee-Wee League and Snopp Dog was coaching the team. Time sure does fly, when you
