#RHoA: Phaedra Parks And Apollo Nida Divorce Do-Over May Be Messy!
Phaedra Parks thought she was done with Apollo Nida when she revealed during Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta that her divorce was finalized. Soon after, Apollo learned that he was divorced and disputed the filing putting the estranged RHOA couple back at square one. TMZ reported that Phaedra still believes Apollo won’t get any more money from her since they had an iron-clad prenup.

Apollo learned of the divorce through his friends who are still on the show and quickly contested Phaedra’s filing. To the surprise of everyone, a judge sided with Nida and declared the divorce a dud due to several filing mistakes, including Phaedra’s intentional misspelling of Apollo’s last name and the fact that he claimed he was never served paperwork in prison.
At the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 reunion show, Phaedra Parks doubled down on her divorce claims and said that she did finalize the divorce. She also showed paperwork to prove it, but we all know that despite having the final decree in her hand, the judge still decided that her filing wasn’t correct and she still had to fix it. On top of that, Phaedra claimed to have already paid Apollo the $100,000 that she owed him after the divorce was final.

Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida both signed a prenup, but the kicker is that it was signed just nine days before the RHOA couple got married. In it, both Phaedra and Apollo waived their right to spousal support in the event that they were to divorce. Apparently, the prenup also dictates that both Phaedra and Apollo would leave the marriage with precisely what they brought into it.
Okay, so here’s where and why Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida’s actual divorce could get pretty messy and Apollo could actually end up with more money than Phaedra wanted to give up. For starters, when Phaedra and Apollo signed the prenup, they agreed to split their assets based on who had what at the time of their marriage. At that point, Phaedra was not an RHOA star yet. She joined the Bravo cast in 2010 and brought Apollo Nida along with her. While Phaedra was the peach holder, Apollo was still featured on the show and Phaedra wouldn’t have had a storyline without him.

In addition, Phaedra Parks could have a tough time enforcing the prenup because of the date that it was signed. It’s always advisable to get the prenup out of the way roughly 60 days ahead of the wedding. Due to the fact that it was signed just nine days before Phaedra and Apollo got married means that it could have been rushed. Apollo could actually claim that he was pressured to sign the paperwork and didn’t really understand what it said. If a judge sides with him on that, it could open Phaedra’s bank accounts up so that Apollo walks away with much more than $100,000.

Georgia, where Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida lived, is an “equitable distribution state.” That means if a judge throws out the prenup, everything that Phaedra and Apollo acquired during their marriage would be divided between them. Property that was brought into the marriage would be given back to the initial owner but anything they acquired together would be divided. Depending on the wording in the prenup, that still may be the case for Phaedra and Apollo.

#EMPIRE: Serayah Talks To Elle Magazine: Television Is So Much More Diverse Right Now
But that doesn't mean we can stop working on it.

In Empire, she's talented singer Tiana Brown—one of our favorites in the soapy record-label show. But, for Serayah, while the show is definitely a blast, it's about way more than just unpredictable family drama and her insane on-screen wardrobe. Empire—which also stars Bryshere Y. Gray as Tiana's on/off love Hakeem, Jussie Smollett as Hakeem's brother Jamal, and Taraji P. Henson as her manager Cookie—is relatable in important ways, despite its high-stakes glamour.

"It tells a lot of stories inside of the show that connect with people in regular everyday life," she told ELLE.com at the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles. "Whether you're married with kids, your son or daughter is gay, you live in the hood and there's drugs, or someone you know has been locked up for your whole life—things like that connect with people."

One of the factors that makes Empire so vital, Serayah thinks, is its African American cast and characters. And she's glad it's not alone on the small screen. "There's so much more diversity now," she said. "There are a lot more shows, like Black-ish, that are empowering African American casts as a whole. I feel like that's a great start. Honestly, I'm excited with where television and film is going." While that's not to say the industry can't do more, the actress said there's a lot to be hopeful about: "As much as we're in a world and an America that we do need to work on, there's a lot more people on the train of being good to each other, so that's what I'm excited about."

As Empire heads toward its third season finale, Serayah isn't giving away where it's going. "I don't know anything," she said, smiling. "Of course, there's drama." Meanwhile, she's putting out her own album this summer, title TBD. "Right now I'm thinking self-titled, but I don't know."

OOOPS TEA SPILLS? Kelly Ripa Did NOT Want To Hire Ryan Seacrest As Cohost
Maybe Michael Strahan was in such a rush to get away from Kelly Ripa, he didn’t realize how much extra money he was running from. Now, Kelly is laughing all the way to the bank!
Kelly Ripa shocked fans with her ecstatic announcement on Monday that Ryan Seacrest was signing on as the long-awaited cohost of her hit morning show, Live!

But according to RadarOnline.com they’ve reveal that the 46-year-old’s big smile was all a front, as the A-list host and producer, 42, was NOT her first choice.
The decision to hire Seacrest was “ultimately [ABC president] Ben Sherwood’s call,” a well-connected network insider revealed. Meanwhile, the difficult Ripa “preferred someone less well-known.”
“She wanted someone that she could boss around, and that isn’t Ryan,” the source continued. “He’s as big of a star as she is!”

As fans know, Ripa has been hosting the popular ABC show solo for about a year — since her former cohost, Michael Strahan, infamously quit last April and left the mother of three in a rage.

Jimmy Kimmel Reveals Newborn Son Underwent Heart Surgery in Emotional Monologue
Jimmy Kimmel revealed during his late-night monologue on Monday May 1, that his newborn son underwent open heart surgery shortly after he was born on April 21.
It was the first time Kimmel opened up about his baby boy, William "Billy" John Kimmel. Three hours after his birth, doctors noticed that he had a heart murmur and appeared purple in color. It was diagnosed as "tetralogy of fallot with pulmonary atresia," which is when the pulmonary valve is blocked and there is a hole in the heart wall.
"On Monday morning, Dr. Vaughn Starnes opened his chest and fixed one of the two defects in his heart. He went in there with a scalpel and did some kind of magic that I couldn't even begin to explain," Kimmel said. "He opened the valve, and the operation was a success. It was the longest three hours of my life."
This past weekend, Kimmel and his wife, writer Molly McNearney, were finally able to bring William home to his big sister, 2-year-old Jane.
"He's doing great. He's eating. He's sleeping. He peed on his mother today while she was changing his diaper," Kimmel added. "He's doing all the things that he's supposed to do. This is the best."

We Knew this was coming! The Trump Administration Is Ending Michelle Obama’s ‘Let Girls Learn’ Education Program
Michelle Obama started the ‘Let Girls Learn’ education initiative to help facilitate educational opportunities for girls in developing countries in 2015.

Donald Trump and his administration is now ending it.

via Huffington Post: Michelle Obama launched “Let Girls Learn” in 2015 “to change the perception of the value of girls at the individual, community and institutional levels; foster an enabling environment for adolescent girls’ education; and engage and equip girls to make life decisions and important contributions to society,” the program website states.
Run primarily by the Peace Corps and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), “Let Girls Learn” drew on funding from the private and public sector to promote girls’ education in developing countries around the world. In its two years of existence, the program raised over $1 billion to help girls in over 50 countries.

CNN reported on Monday that it obtained an email which Peace Corps acting director Sheila Crowley sent this week to inform employees that “Let Girls Learn” would be ending, though some elements of the program will continue.

“Moving forward, we will not continue to use the ‘Let Girls Learn’ brand or maintain a stand-alone program,” read the email.

A Peace Corps spokesperson told CNN that the agency will continue to prioritize programming for girls. “Girls’ education and empowerment has been a hallmark of our work over the past 56 years, and we look forward to continuing those efforts with our interagency partners,” the spokesperson said. “We remain dedicated to the passionate work of our volunteers and staff to empower and educate girls in their communities.”

Still, many Twitter users were outraged at the news that “Let Girls Learn” would be no more. Several directed their comments toward the first daughter and assistant to the president, Ivanka Trump, who has maintained throughout her father’s campaign and presidency that he supports women’s empowerment wholeheartedly.
Obama’s former chief of staff, Tina Tchen, told CNN she believes “Let Girls Learn” generated the immense support and name-recognition needed to make a real difference.

“I think it’s unfortunate to not continue with the branded campaign,” she said. “We think that this is an issue that has bipartisan support, it’s really not a Republican or Democratic issue.”

Tchen also noted that President Barack Obama’s administration not only continued but expanded President George W. Bush’s global development program, The President’s Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

The Obama administration also expanded the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), which President Bush launched in 2005 to combat malaria in some of the hardest hit parts of the world. First Lady Laura Bush was an active supporter of PMI and PEPFAR and even made several solo trips to promote the global health initiatives.

What an IDIOT!

#RHoA: NeNe Leakes Blasts Phaedra Parks Over Kandi Burruss Date Rape Accusation
The truth finally came out on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" on Sunday, as Porsha Williams revealed who told her Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd said they tried to drug and take advantage of her. The allegations have been popping up all season long, but on Sunday’s reunion, Williams finally told her co-stars that Phaedra Parks was the one who gave her the intel.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, but NeNe Leakes was quick to sound off on the shocking moment on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen."
"Phaedra been doing this bullshit for a very long time. Phaedra did the exact same thing to me, as we already discussed before, years ago on the show when she first came on," Leakes told Cohen. "She tried to take me down and it didn't work. Phaedra's been doing stuff like this, she just got caught."
The verbal spars against Parks continued when a guest asked NeNe to name the "shadiest" housewife of Atlanta.
"Clearly it must be Phaedra," Leakes quickly shot back. When asked why she thinks Parks started the rumor about Burruss, NeNe then called her co-star sneaky.

"I think Phaedra is like a person ... that has a way of wanting to be seen one way but she does all these things behind camera," she explained. "She's always been that way, this is not anything new. It may be new to you guys, but for us who work with her, we've always known her to be that person."
But Parks wasn't the only one getting trash talked on "WWHL," as Leakes said Williams is just as much to blame. When asked if she thinks Porsha "de-classes" the "RHOA" franchise, NeNe replied, "Oh, absolutely."

"Porsha is not innocent at all," she added. "If you and I decide to rob the bank together, if I mastermind it and you carry out the plan and we went before a judge, we both would be sentenced honey for life in prison child."
"Porsha is just as guilty as Phaedra. She ain't that damn dumb," Leakes continued. "She's just running around here saying somebody done raped her and wanted to do all this crazy stuff to her, she could have simply asked Kandi. Who sits up and carry this lie out throughout the entire season without even asking?"

We'll see the fallout from Williams' words when the "RHOA" reunion continues next Sunday on Bravo.

Following Joey Bada$$’ “Land of the Free,” and Khalid’s “Location,” this week Mel covers Kendrick Lamar’s “Loyalty.” The Rihanna-featured track is a standout off the rap star’s acclaimed new album DAMN.

Once again accompanied by a single acoustic guitarist, the soulful songstress sits outside with birds chirping in the background. She takes on the melodic record with her own beautiful tone, delivering an emotional performance with rapid fire vocals.

“Tell me who you’re loyal to? / Does it start with your woman or your man? / Do it end with your family and friends? / Are you loyal to yourself in advance?” she sings. After dipping into “It Kills Me” she ends the mash-up by returning with a request for ‘loyalty.’

Brad Pitt “Rare Disease” Story Is Fake News
Brad Pitt is not being “eaten alive by a rare disease,” despite an absurd new report alleging the actor is secretly battling a life-threatening illness. According to Gossip Cop they looked into the situation, and has set the record straight.

Many tabloids have been making a needlessly big deal about the actor dropping a few pounds in the wake of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, and now the National Enquirer purports that a “mystery ailment” is responsible for his weight loss. A supposed “source” at the art studio frequented by the actor tells the magazine he’s looking thinner by the day and “disappearing before our eyes.”

The outlet’s questionable source goes on to contend that Pitt is “very weak” and often “moves around like an old man in pain,” adding that his friends believe an infectious disease is the cause of his alleged health woes. But Gossip Cop checked in with a trustworthy source close to the actor, who exclusively assures he’s not sick with a “rare disease” and the magazine’s report is all “lies.”

This latest article is yet another entry in the tabloids’ phony ongoing narrative about Pitt’s well-being. Also the publication, OK!, got busted for also wrongly reporting that Pitt was suffering a health crisis.

Prince’s Family Members Planning a Reality Show About Life After His Death
Legendary singer Prince’s family members are in works planning a reality show about the late singer who died a year ago.
Via The Root: On the eve of the anniversary of Prince’s death, Deliverance, an unauthorized EP was released by George Ian Boxill, and the singer’s family is now trying to stop it from being released again. But they may have other plans for the song. Reality tv show plans to be exact.According to a new report, TMZ stated that family members are working with a production company to produce a reality tv show that will “focus on how their lives have changed since [Prince] died.”

Although the show is said to be in its early stages, they shut down Boxill’s release of Prince’s EP so the music could be used on the show.Prince’s estate filed a lawsuit against Boxwill even before the music was released stating that Boxill was attempting to profit off Prince’s death.
“The Estate of Prince Rogers Nelson is aware that Mr. George Ian Boxill, in conjunction with Rogue Music Alliance, has issued a press release announcing an intent to distribute previously unreleased Prince master recordings and musical compositions,” the estate’s statement read.

“Like the other engineers that had the opportunity to work with Prince, Mr. Boxill signed an agreement, under which he agreed (1) all recordings that he worked on with Prince would remain Prince’s sole and exclusive property; (2) he would not use any recordings or property in any way whatsoever; and (3) he would return any such recordings or property to Prince immediately upon request. Mr. Boxill did not comply with his agreement,” it continued. “Instead, Mr. Boxill maintained copies of certain tracks, waited until after Prince’s tragic death, and is now attempting to release tracks without the authorization of the Estate and in violation of the agreement and applicable law.”

Prince led quite a private life and it’s odd that his family have decided to go the route of reality television.

Met Gala 2017: What Everyone Wore on the Red Carpet
Katy Perry, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and more hit the massive red carpet in NYC for the 2017 Met Gala; see what everyone wore on fashion's biggest night
It's been a volatile year so far, to say the least. Which is why we arguably need the frivolity, beauty and low-stakes drama of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Benefit – a.k.a. the Met Gala or Met Ball – more than ever. After last year's tech- and robot-inspired "Manus x Machina," 2017's theme (and accompanying exhibit at the institute) honors one of the fashion world's most beloved and singular living designers, Comme des Garcons' Rei Kawakubo. How did this year's celebrity guests – including co-chairs Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, plus carpet queens Nicki Minaj and Rihanna – interpret Kawakubo's whimsical, structured, larger-than-life and colorful clothes? Here's what the biggest and baddest in music, fashion and Hollywood wore to the first Monday in May.

Daisy Ridley
Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Daisy Ridley wore a flowing black and white Oscar de la Renta gown.

Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling stood out in a blue sequin dress by Nepalese-American designer Prabal Gurung.

Helen Lasichanh and Pharrell Williams
Helen Lasichanh wore a red, structured one-piece while Pharrell Williams, a co-chair of the event, stuck to a grunge look – though both were in Comme des Garcons head-to-toe.

Tom Brady and Gisele
Tom Brady and Gisele, both co-chairs of the gala, took a classic approach, with him in a tux and her in a sleek backless silver gown.

Katy Perry
Gala co-chair Katy Perry was almost unrecognizable in a Maison Margiela Artisanal custom gown by John Galliano.

Sophie Turner
Sophie Turner wore a white lace Louis Vuitton gown that would make Sansa proud.

Frances Bean Cobain and Courtney Love
Frances Bean Cobain wore a sheer, high-necked dress. She arrived with her mom, Courtney Love, who rocked a long-sleeved black gown with an impressive teardrop cutout – and of course, plenty of cleavage.

Nick Jonas
Nick Jonas buttoned up in a Topman tux with geometric flair.

Kylie Jenner
The reality star and makeup maven showed off her curves in a sheer beaded Versace gown.

Lena Dunham
Lena Dunham arrived in a black-and-red gingham, off-the-shoulder ball gown by Elizabeth Kennedy. (Not pictured: the combat boots she's wearing underneath.)

Selena Gomez and Weeknd
Selena Gomez and Weeknd looked like perfect prom dates, him in a slim tux and her in a light, trailing Coach gown.

Jourdan Dunn,
Jourdan Dunn wore a geometric H&M dress, while Future found a super-skinny tux with dark blue detail.

Kendall Jenner
The supermodel went for a barely-there look by luxury lingerie designer La Perla.

Joe Jonas
Joe Jonas rocked a maroon pinstripe satin tux.

Zoe Kravitz
The Big Little Lies star stunned in a pink and black Oscar de la Renta gown.

Serena Williams
The pregnant tennis star glowed in a body-hugging, turquoise halter dress.

Solange Knowles
Solange Knowles wore a parka-cum-couture-dress designed by Thom Browne.

Nicki Minaj
The "Anaconda" singer wore an H&M gown that was equal parts dominatrix and magic show.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively channeled her inner peacock with husband Ryan Reynolds, who came matching in a pale-blue bow-tie.

Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood rocked a goth look in slacks and a beaded tunic, both designed by Joseph Altuzarra.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez
New couple A-Rod and J-Lo looked overjoyed to be with each other on the red carpet, him in a classic tux and her in a delicate Valentino gown and massive Harry Winston diamond earrings.

Kim Kardashian West
Kanye stayed home this year, but Kim came solo in a clinging white Vivienne Westwood dress.

Mary J. Blige
The legendary singer showed a lot of leg in this lingerie-inspired black gown.

Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon wore a blue and black one-shoulder dress – but there was enough structure in the other shoulder to make up for it.

Paris Jackson
Michael Jackson's daughter Paris wore a black satin ballgown.

Cara Delevingne
The model looked like a Spider from Mars in her silver suit and spiked heals.

Gigi Hadid
The model wore a fashion-forward Tommy Hilfiger gown that showed off one black garter.

Rihanna
Work times five! The Met Gala MVP did not disappoint for 2017, wearing a very, very elaborate Comme des Garcons Fall 2016 piece with red strappy sandals.

Madonna
The Material Girl opted for a camo-print gown by Moschino and a distressed stole.

‘The Fate of the Furious’ Officially Crossed the $1Billion Mark at The Box Office!
Director F. Gary Gray Becomes the FIRST Black Director to Have a Billion Dollar Grossing Film

‘The Fate of the Furious’ movie is out here breaking records AGAIN. This is Fast and Furious second movie to surpass the $1Billion movie mark.

Via Variety: After taking into account Saturday night’s grosses, Universal’s “Fate of the Furious” has achieved the $1 billion milestone. $867.6 million of the film’s earnings have come from the international box office, while domestically the high-octane actioner has made $192.7 million.

“Fate” shot out the gate to the largest global opening of all time with $542 million ($443.2 million international, and $98.8 million domestic). Directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan, the film’s insane stunts and diverse ensemble cast — including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Scott Eastwood and Charlize Theron — has proven big box office success for the studio. In fact, of the four other movies from Universal to become billionaires, “Furious 7” sits in second place with $1.52 billion.

“Fate of the Furious” is the first in the franchise since the tragic death of Paul Walker, who was involved in a single-vehicle crash in 2013. The seventh movie functioned as a sort of tribute to the late actor. The eighth centers around Dominic Toretto (Diesel) who is coerced by a cyberterrorist (Theron) to turn against his team. In his review for Variety, critic Owen Gleiberman called the latest episode a “dazzling action spectacle that proves this franchise is far from out of gas.”

Story checks out: recent reports say Universal is mulling a spinoff of the franchise starring Johnson, Statham and Theron. And whether or not that happens, chances are good there will be many more installments to come.

Taryll Jackson son of Tito Jackson Claims he was Molested by a relative! 😲

Tito Jackson’s Claims he was Molested by a relative as a child On ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’ Season 7! 😲
In a sit-down with Taryll, Iyanla tried to understand why Taryll was “punishing” himself by staying in a broken relationship. That’s when the father of two made a big reveal about his own childhood: He was sexually violated at a young age by a male family member.

“I want to be clear,” said Taryll, who is Tito’s son. “It was a relative, but it wasn’t any of my father’s brothers.”

Taryll revealing this sexual abuse, Iyanla said, was a huge step in his journey toward healing himself and his relationship. However, Taryll also harbored massive guilt that was standing in the way of his healing. That guilt was tied to two more family tragedies: the murder of Tarryl’s mother and the death of his uncle..
