Nicki Minaj Is The New Face Of Roberto Cavalli, Gets SENSUAL In Spring/Summer 2015 Ad Campaign
Nicki Minaj is known for getting a little ratchet while putting her “ass”ets on full display. But she can also slay an ad campaign for a luxury brand.
Following her L’Uomo Vogue cover and her hot editorial in Vogue Italia, it has been announced that Nicki Minaj will be serving as the face of Roberto Cavalli’s Spring/Summer 2015 ad campaign (following Rita Ora). And in these glamour shots, the booty-ful raptress serves some epic slayage in high-fashion designer digs.
Shot by Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini in L.A., Nicki models an array of flowy bohemian dresses with exotic prints and a few textured gowns, along with some hot designer shades and handbags by the Italian designer. Seems the Italians are really loving Nicki.
In addition to her campaign, the “ONLY” rapper will also endorse the luxe brand’s eyewear and accessory line and its ready-to-wear.
Roberto Cavalli spoke on why he chose the Hip Hop mogul as the new face saying,
“I chose Nicki Minaj because she embodies the exuberant and modern femininity of the Cavalli woman. In recent years we have become accustomed to women castigated in clothes that hide their body shapes. With this campaign, I wanted to send a strong countertrend message. I wanted a sensual woman who is aware of her body – who is not afraid to show her curves. Instead, she makes them her strength.”

Nia, which carries the meaning of "purpose" and is one of the seve principles of Kwanzaa, was also welcomed home by her older sibling who is the first child of Stevie & Tomeeka's.

The numbers are in and his third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, sold over 360,000 copies during its first week, which landed him at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Yep…dude beat out Taylor Swift’s 1989 album. NICE!
He did this without releasing any singles, very little promotion AND not to mention he announced his album less than a month ago. The Roc Nation rapper clearly has a HUGE following. And some legit music.

According to Radaronline…….According to emails from the execs, two-time Oscar winner Washington should not be cast in films that will get play overseas — because he is black, The producer who sent the e-mail to Sony Chairman Michael Lynton said he or she hoped the incredible statement wasn’t “inappropriate or provocative.” But the producer — whose name was erased from the emails — suggested Sony should avoid casting black actors to appeal to an international market that the producer deemed “racist.”
“No, I am not saying The Equalizer should not have been made or that African American actors should not have been used (I personally think Denzel is the best actor of his generation),” the producer wrote.
“Casting him is saying we’re ok with a double if the picture works,” the producer wrote, using a baseball analogy. “He’s reliable at the domestic [box office], safe, but has not had a huge success in years. I believe whenever possible the non event pictures, extra ‘bets’ should have a large inherent upside and be made for the right price. Here there isn’t a large inherent upside.” “I believe that the international motion picture audience is racist — in general pictures with an African American lead don’t play well overseas,” the producer wrote. “But Sony sometimes seems to disregard that a picture must work well internationally to both maximize returns and reduce risk, especially pics with decent size budgets.”
An Equalizer sequel, which another e-mail said was set for 2017, would be “a double, with a remote chance of a home run,” the producer wrote.

Columbus Short, Rosa Acosta, Karrueche & More Take In Russell Simmons’ All Def Comedy Live
Last night in Hollywood was another celebrity-packed edition of Russell Simmons’ weekly comedy show, All Def Comedy Live, powered by The Brand Group.
The show, normally hosted by Tony Rock, had a surprise guest with comedian Na’im Lynn (who is Kevin Harts’ frontman.) The audience were also able to catch Kevin Hart’s right hand man Spank perform as well, along with a very-eager Columbus Short who surprised the guests with a quick comedic set.
With all of the Cash Money drama with Lil Wayne, his manager Cortez Bryant came out to get some fresh air with a couple friends. Also spotted in VIP was Ms. Jackson with her boo Nelly’s daughter, along with Karrueche Tran (who is taking a vacation from the relationship drama with her on-again/off-again boyfriend, Chris Brown.) Motown recording artist BJ the Chicago Kid was also spotted, as well as rapper Freddie Gibbs, Jay Z’s drummer Tony Royster Jr., Rosa Acosta and many more. A big congratulations is in order for Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross they are expecting their first child together..
According to US Weekly, The 30-year-old entertainer and 26-year-old actor got married back in August of this year, and the couple have made it known that they have wanted to have kids together!
“I would like [having kids],” Evan recently told E! News (who broke the news of the pregnancy). “As many as possible!”
Ashlee has one child, a son named Bronx, 6, from a previous relationship with Pete Wentz.

Vh1s Sorority Sisters Controversy has been this weeks hot topics all over social media. The show is so notorious many of its advertisers have pulled out.Black twitter recently poured out many complaints they were outraged by the way Vh1s new show Sorority Sisters have portrayed black women again; 40,000-Black Greek petition to cancel the production of a reality show out of legitimate fears the show will mock, defame and scandalize Black Greeks’ proud tradition and esteemed history. Has Vh1 gone to far this time? I’m afraid so. and as a result many advertisers like Crayola, Carmex, Honda and more are pulling their ads from the program
A spokeswoman for Hallmark confirmed that the decision was made in response to public opposition to the show. The company, Linda Odell said in an e-mail, will not advertise during the show “because of consumer reaction to the program.”
Update: 3:50 p.m.: Several other advertisers including Honda, Crayola, and JBL, a subsidiary of Harman International, have also said they are pulling their ads from the show. State Farm has responded to inquiries saying that they do not air commercials during Sorority Sisters.
The general reaction to the show was that the tacky and petty fighting between the women on the show was a poor representation of the organizations they are representing; Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rhy.

Only in New York: NYPD Cop Selling T-Shirts That Say, ‘Breathe Easy, Don’t Break the Law’
A member of the much-maligned New York Police Department is responding to the ongoing protests against police shootings of unarmed black men. The cop is snubbing protestors by selling t-shirts that read: “Breathe Easy, Don’t Break the Law” — a mocking spin on Eric Garner’s dying words, “I Can’t Breathe”.
Ever since that tragedy, those three words “I can’t breathe” have been resonating throughout the country. Many NBA teams have been spotted wearing T-Shirts with these words written on them, in support of justice for Eric Gardner and putting an end to police brutality.
The words “Breathe Easy, Don’t Break The Law” is nothing short of a mockery in the wake of Gardner’s death, and it is no surprise that its being sold by a cop. This suggests that Eric Gardner’s death was justified, and he would still be alive if he would have simply obeyed the law. Officer Jason Barthel, thinks otherwise.
As he said in an interview, he “Wanted to do something that would bring people together, not tear them apart. We are not here to do anything negative to the public.”
Seriously? Bring us together?…BULL, this cop seems to be adopting the Nazi mantra of you have nothing to worry about if you haven’t committed a crime. Read Harvey Silverglate’s Three Felonies a Day. You would be shocked to learn that there are currently over 20,000 federal statutes enforced by more than 700 agencies that make the average American a felon daily. Remember, the systematic extermination of Jews and Gypsys was perfectly legal and condoned by the state. Just because something is illegal does not mean it is unlawful. Before you can say that you support all of the laws of this country, you should really know all 20,000 of them. Then you can speak intelligently about enforcement of them. This holds especially true for those in Law EnFORCEment. But I’m sure he won’t hear me tho.

Kris And Bruce Jenner — Divorce is Final!
Kris and Bruce Jenner have settled their divorced … TMZ has learned, and the goodies have been divided, with Bruce scoring several million from his ex.
A L.A. County judge has signed the legal docs. It’s about as clean a divorce as possible. As we previously reported, they did not sign a prenup. Kris gets the family house and they divided up various bank accounts and other assets.
We’re told based on the settlement agreement … neither Kris nor Bruce will get spousal support. As for 17-year-old Kylie, she’s so close to becoming an adult they share joint custody and each parent will foot the bill while she’s with them.
Under the agreement, Kris has to pay Bruce $2.5 million to equalize things.
Kris gets a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost, a 2014 Bentley and a 2014 Land Rover. Bruce gets a 2011 Porsche 997 Coupe, a 2013 Cadillac Escalade and a 2007 Harley motorcycle.
Kris filed for divorce in September, citing irreconcilable differences. She listed the date of separation as June 1, 2013.
They each get to keep their airline miles.LOL!!! It looks like the actual date they are legally allowed to tie the knot with someone else is March 23, 2015 …
