Showtime At The Apollo To Return To TV With Steve Harvey-Hosted Special
Showtime At The Apollo is returning to TV with a two-hour FOX special – to be hosted by Steve Harvey – on December 5. The comedian will be joined by comedy and music stars in the special.
“I’m excited to be going back home to the Apollo to celebrate the history of this great theater,” said Steve. “I have great memories from my time there, and this is going to be a homecoming party that you won’t want to miss.”
According to Deadline, “the Fox special will feature elements from the Apollo’s legendary Amateur Night – the long-running, live talent competition, now in its 82nd year – which provides a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform in front of the toughest audience in the world where amateurs who don’t win over the crowd are booed off the stage.”
Steve will also host a second, one-hour Showtime At The Apollo special, to air on FOX in early 2017.

While we didn’t get a full tour, we did get a quick glimpse at the interior — columns, gleaming tile floors, and sweeping stairway included.
Is Kenya Moore trying to compete with Whitfield? There seems to be a rivalry between the two RHOA troupers. This week, two out-of-this-world mansions opened its doors to the viewers. After Whitfield released her mini tour, Moore posted on Instagram the development of her mansion. Moore is known to be all about the glitz and glamour and it simply shows in her personality and things.
Moore has been documenting each of her Moore Manor’s changes though it may be a bit sluggish, Chateau Sheree is still slower. Moore took a picture of her new kitchen and posted it on Instagram as well. Her Instagram almost looked like a catalog for real estate because of those fancy appliances.
To keep everyone excited on her Moore Manor, she is currently having a contest to promote her mansion. The mechanics of the contest is just simple; fans just have to tag five people in the comments section. Winners will take home $100, complete accommodation, transportation, airfare and most importantly a complete home tour in the Moore Manor.
'Empire' season 3 spoilers: Lucious and Andre prepare for Shine's next move in episode 5; EP speaks on Lucious-Cookie-Angelo love triangle
The truth comes out in the upcoming episode of Fox's hit musical drama "Empire" season 3.
Titled "One Before Another," next week's episode will be full of revelations. According to the official synopsis for episode 5, Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Andre (Trai Byers) remain on high alert as they wait for Shine's (Xzibit) next move following his threat in their last business encounter. Jamal (Jussie Smollett), who continues to doubt if he could ever perform live in front of his fans, teams up with his younger brother Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) for a number that might help him face his fears. Meanwhile, Cookie's (Taraji P. Henson) probation officer will unexpectedly drop by for a routine meeting.
In the previous episode "Cupid Kills," Lucious made a veiled threat to Cookie's new beau, Angelo (guest star Taye Diggs). With Lucious ready to fight and his young councilman rival not backing down, viewers can expect tension between the two characters to escalate even further.
"We know of course that Lucious is never going to back down and Cookie's resisting, she's doing the best she can," co-executive producer Matt Pyken recently told Entertainment Tonight. "Angelo, who's not used to this world, he's used to the rough and tumble of politics, is not going to take it lying down. We've got one immovable object and two immovable forces; expect this to intensify."
Episode 4 also revealed a surprising hookup between Nessa (Sierra A. McClain) and Andre. According to Pyken, "nothing happens without a complication" on the show, and the pair's romance is far from over. The EP added that part of their plan is to give Andre, the sole Lyon brother who doesn't do music, an interesting love interest whose life revolves around music.
The 3rd season of "Empire" airs every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

She's still standing. But based on her biopic, she went through hell to do so. Let's discuss the Michel'le.
Now we see why Dr. Dre and co. conveniently left out any and every piece of evidence to show the other side of him in the Straight Outta Compton movie. The super talented Michel'le put her decades-long claims into movie form and her Surviving Compton biopic aired last night on Lifetime. It had everyone in a stupor. The only thing that would have topped that movie is if Dre started livestreaming with his side right then...on a split screen.
We'll avoid the spoilers for those who haven't watched yet, but there's much to discuss. From the seemingly nonstop mental, emotional and physical abuse from Dre and Suge Knight, to her grandmother's "advice," to making it to where she is today by mainly relying only on herself. Music definitely gave Michel'le the will to live, but it was also the window to her abuse. Deep.
Anywho, the movie was informative if nothing else. But Dre still maintains he wants to sue. The movie's executive producer Leslie Greif told IndieWire:
“I heard Sony said they vetted the film and stand by it, and will not allow Michel’le’s voice to be silenced,” Greif told the site. “They’re supporting this picture … These are not new stories. Dr. Dre and Suge Knight have not seen the film to my knowledge, and are presupposing what they did and how it might make them appear on screen.”
Michel'le chimed in as well saying:
“This is no joke,” she said. “I would never want anyone to live this life. I’m watching myself, when I watched them portray me and Dr. Dre and it touched me in a different way … it was a very eye-opening experience. I didn’t see it that way [at the time]. I thought it was just normal for me.”

Three Men Charged In Connection With Fatal Shooting Of Olympian Tyson Gay’s 15-Year-Old Daughter Trinity Gay
Tracj & Field star Tyson Gay’s 15-year-old daughter Trinity Gay was fatally shot in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant about 4AM on Sunday in her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. She got caught in the crossfire of two vehicles firing bullets at one another.
According to police, the 15-year-old was transported by a private vehicle to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Due to quick police work, three men, including a father and son, have been charged in connection to her death and a homicide investigation is ongoing.
38-year-old Chazerae Taylor (father), 19-year-old D'markeo Taylor (son) and 21-year-old Dvonta Middlebrooks are the three men arrested. Chazerae and D’markeo have been charged with with wanton endangerment in connection with the shooting, while Dvonta has been charged with wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Following in her father’s footsteps, Trinity attended Lafayette High School where she was a promising track competitor and a cheerleader. Her father, who competed at the Summer Olympic Games in Rio this year, won a silver medal at the 2012 London Games in the 4x100 meters relay run.
Tyson briefly spoke to the media early Monday morning in shock that his daughter is no longer here, saying, "She didn't make it. I'm so confused. She was just here last week for fall break. It's so crazy."

Azealia Banks claims Russell Crowe called her a N___ER?
Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe's feud won't be settled over social media—the real authorities are involved now.
The 25-year-old rapper has filed a police report against the Oscar-winning actor following what allegedly transpired at a Beverly Hills hotel Sunday evening, Banks' rep confirmed. Per TMZ, who was first with this news, Banks went to the Beverly Hills Police Department after demanding an apology from Crowe which she did not receive.
In a since deleted Facebook post, Banks claimed Crowe "called me a n----r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me" during a party in the actor's suite. However, as TMZ first reported, multiple eyewitness accounts state that Banks laughed at Crowe's music and called him and another attendee "boring , white men."
After another woman defended Crowe, Banks allegedly replied with, "You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s--t" and allegedly added a few racial slurs.
After reportedly taking her glass and cocking it back, as TMZ described, Crowe allegedly grabbed Banks in a "bear hug" and carried her out before calling security guards to remove her from the property. (Banks was reportedly a guest of RZA, who cast Crowe in a film he wrote and directed called The Man With the Iron Fists.)
Raymani, who represents Banks, said that Monday that she is still shaken and not yet ready to speak out, she will give her account of what happened and tell her plans to move forward in the next day or two. Raymani added that Banks is disgusted by fictitious reports that have surfaced and said she remains disappointed by the misconduct of individuals who she once admired.

Well… I’m glad she’s finally acknowledging that he cheated on her two years ago because she certainly acted like she didn’t believe those stories. There were also stories about Casper cheating on her in 2015 too. So is Casper a cheater and is that the real reason why Jennifer finally had enough? Probably.
