Wendy Williams Goes GLAM For EBONY Magazine's May 2015 Cover
Mom, mogul and messy is how you can describe Wendy Williams.
The talk show maven has carried "The Wendy Williams Show" into its sixth season and seventh year to become a reigning queen in daytime tv. Not to mention her new clothing line on HSN and Executive Producer credits on networks like the iD channel. So it's only right she's gracing EBONY's next issue, which focuses on million dollar moms, empire building and more.
While looking pretty damn fab on the cover, Wendy is dishing on her favorite roles – mother, daughter, non-hoity-toity kitchen master, and campy visual artist. But what she's not is a celebrity befriender. She tells the mag:
“Sometimes I feel a little guilty, like there is going to come a time when all of this isn’t going on and I’m going to regret not lunching at Michael’s with the celebrity girls. But right now, this feels great,” Williams says of home being the place she prefers to be.
Wendy will also be discussing the intricacies of her marriage and business relationship with husband, co-executive producer, and manager Kevin Hunter. She's also set to host the "R&B Divas: LA" reunion tonight on TvOne.
The May 2015 issue of EBONY hits newsstands this Friday, April 24th.

According to OK Magazine: Nick Cannon is having to greatly scale down his spending now that he is no longer with the music legend. He’s behaving like he still has access to his ex’s bank account. But his own paychecks are nowhere near high enough to sustain his expensive habits.
And seeing that Cannon made a point to spend Easter with Carey and their two children, many are convinced he is attempting to keep his ex close to possibly help keep his expensive lifestyle afloat.

Kanye West Takes His Turn on Paper Magazine April 2015 Cover
Last year his wife “broke the internet” with her nude photo spread for Paper magazine, and now Kanye West has his own cover for the popular publication.
In his interview, the “Black Skinhead” rapper shot down the theory that he and his musical peers are part of some secret society- “I am tired of people pinpointing musicians as the Illuminati. That's ridiculous. We don’t run anything; we’re celebrities. We’re the face of brands.”
Kanye also gushed over his adorable daughter North West- “When I look in North’s eyes, I’m happy about every mistake I’ve ever made. I’m happy that I fought to bring some type of reality to this world we choose to stay in right now, driven by brands and corporations.” West added, “I think the scariest thing about me is the fact that I just believe. I believe awesome is possible and I believe that beauty is important.”

Coming Up: Kelly Rowland & Brandy Nab New BET Series, “Chasing Destiny” & “Zoe Moon”
New mom Kelly Rowland is entering the reality tv world. No worries, she will not be making any cameos on “Love & Hip Hop” or “Real Housewives.” She has landed her very own reality series and it will fall in line with what she loves doing the most: Singing!
As a former member of multi-platinum girl singing group Destiny’s Child, Kelly knows a thing or two about what it takes to make it in the music biz. So, the talented singer and BET have teamed up for the brand new talent competition show, “Chasing Destiny.”
According to BET, “Chasing Destiny” will follow a search for the hottest and most talented up-and-coming singer that will bring together young women with all that's required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence. This sort of sounds like Kelly will be returning to the judge’s chair to weed through talents much like her stint on the “X Factor”.

Speaking of her new show....
Kelly hit the carpet at the #ExperienceBETn2015 Upfront event held at Waldorf Astoria in Chicago to announce her upcoming show. The R&B songstress linked up with raptress MC Lyte, celeb financial coach Lynn Richardson and more to pose it up before hitting the stage.
Kelly & Lyte also snapped a cute "us-sie" while waiting backstage. Loves it!
Another show coming to the network....
Although BET’s “The Game” is in its last and final run, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing Brandy on the network any longer.
The R&B singing sensation will be starring in a new rom-com series titled “Zoe Moon,” where she plays a newly divorced single mom who makes a life-changing decision to start a new career as a cosmetics mogul. The problem is, her ex-husband and her 10-year-old son aren’t ready for Zoe’s new endeavor (or her new dating life) and will cause a few bumps in the road.
And that's not all. Brandy is booked honey! She’s currently gearing up for her role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical “Chicago” set to kick-off at the Ambassador Theatre on April 28th. She may also be heading back ito the studio soon as well. B-Rocka shared a video recently of her and Jazmine Sullivan flexing their amazing vocal skills and announced a duet would be coming soon. We’re here for it all!

Nicki Minaj Collaborates With Nike On New ‘Pinkprints’ Sneaker
Nicki Minaj has a Nike collaboration in the works. She released her third studio album, The Pinkprint, late last year, and in line with the LP/tour, Nicki’s new kicks (in collaboration with the Jordan Classic team) are called Pinkprints.
The Young Money star took to Instagram to tease the new sneaker (she also rock’d a cute Chanel jacket in the pic), and in expressing her excitement about the collabo, she wrote:

Opulent mansion where hip hop saga Empire is filmed goes on sale for $13 million
Do you want to live like hip hop mogul Lucious Lyon from the hit show 'Empire'?
If you have the bank balance of a mogul you could splash out on the house used for location shoots in the Fox show, which is filmed in the Chicago area.
The enormous 20,000 square foot mansion in the ritzy suburb of Barrington is opulent and private, sitting by two lakes in eight acres of manicured gardens.
The sophisticated five bedroom, nine bathroom French Country-style estate that serves as a glamorous backdrop to the show is listed at $13 million, having failed to find a buyer at $15.9 million since it first hit the market in 2013.
It took five years to build the enormous mansion, with construction finally coming to a halt in 2008. This lengthy building period was partly due to the huge amount of custom woodwork and ornamentation in the house
The mansion even has an owner worthy of Empire, in strip club owner Sam Cecola, according to Curbed.
Cecola owns the Admiral Theater strip club in Albany Park, Illinois, and previously owned the Club Paradise strip club in Las Vegas.
He had to relinquish ownership of the Las Vegas property due to legal problems involving tax fraud and alleged connections to organized crime.
The house includes a wet bar, walnut-paneled library, huge gourmet kitchen and a built-in safe and state-of-the-art security system.
Outside there is a dog run, an outdoor pool, outdoor fireplace and a pond, as well as extensive waterfront views. In the show, Luscious Lyon, played by Terence Howard, has been diagnosed with ALS and is trying to determine which of his three sons will succeed him and run his entertainment business.
His outspoken ex-wife, Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson, is fresh out of prison after 17 years for drug dealing and is also demanding her share of the business.

It was announced that Gabourey Sidibe and Ta’Rhonda Jones have been promoted to series regulars on Empire.
Writing for season two began last week but an air date for next season has not been announced.
Explosive Emails Leak Between Ludacris And Tamika Fuller (Emails)
Last month rapper Ludacris was awarded full primary custody of his daughter Cai Bella Bridges after proving her mother, Tamika Fuller, unfit. With nothing to lose Tamika ‘allegedly’ leaks heartless email exchange between herself and the Atlanta rapper.
MediaTakeOut got their hands on the alleged exchange where Ludacris forbids Tamika from FaceTiming with Cai and threatens to take her out of school unless Tamika pays for it.

Nikko Smith Says Mimi Faust Asked Him to Be Her Fake Boyfriend For Love & Hip Hop
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Nikko is spilling all sorts of tea about the drama that he’s currently knee-deep in, compliments of his now ex-girlfriend Mimi Faust. This week, the music producer/reality star visited Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning and shared a bit of insight of some of the messier moments that have recently happened and some of the behind-the-scenes fiascos.
Here’s the quick and dirty:
-At some point, Nikko says he was d*mn hear homeless. He lived in LA with his wife, as a music producer. She too was trying to launch her music career. Things got low financially so they had to move. He says that he was making good money as a producer in the 90’s.
-Nikko claims that Mimi and her manager approached him, off-season, saying that she needed a love interest for the upcoming season. He says that Mimi, her manager and a VH1 producer wined and dined him in LA, presenting him with the opportunity.
-He alludes that the show is sorta-kinda scripted (ie They shoot scenes over).
-He believes that he’s been edited to be a villain.
-His wife decided to join the show so that she could have a voice.

"It made sense to after what Steven Jordan did to her. They invited me out to dinner. They did the whole wine and dine me. They had the producer for VH1 at the time with them."
If he’s glad that he did the show:
"It gave me a notriety that people didn’t know before."
If he thinks he looks like an asshole on the show:
"They’ve got the best editors in the world…I go with it because I sign my name on that dotted line like everybody else."
On who approached an outside entity about the film, after it had already leaked:
"Yes, we both submitted this."
How much they made from the sex tape:
"Let me say this. I get a check every month. And I’m cool with that. Now did we get what are value was worth? No, we definitely didn’t get that."
If he feels he’s taking advantage of Mimi with their book deal:
"It’s a deal that she made. She was happy with it. She had no idea of putting no book together at all. I managed the deal. I think I can deserve 25%. She’s mad because of the wife situation."
Keeping his marriage a secret from Mimi:
"Me being being married didn’t effect Mimi. I was with Mimi every day for a whole year.
Me and my wife wasn’t together when I came onto the show. The reason we stayed married is for legal reasons."
Why his wife is now on the show:
"I brought her on the show because she wants to speak up for herself."
