#RHOA: Nene Leakes’ New Talk Show Is Here
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star shared the news on Wednesday, giving fans a sneak peek into the conversations to come. Carlos King is among the inaugural guests, with the two covering topics on love, tea, and much more. Leakes also co-hosts “Me and My Homegirl” with Sierra Gates and previously held a two-show podcast special with former “Real Housewives of New York” star Bethenny Frankel. However, “The Nene Leakes Show” marks her first solo effort.

Leakes joins a growing list of Bravolebrities entering the content space. Gizelle Bryant and her former “Real Housewives of Potomac” co-star Robyn Dixon host the “Reasonably Shady” podcast. Since exiting “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Teddi Mellencamp has teamed up with “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge for their “Two Ts in a Pod” show. While each woman offers engaging discussions, Leakes has been one of the most in-demand Bravo personalities to enter this space. Her chances of success are high, especially among her longtime fans who miss seeing her on television.

As viewers embark on this new journey with Leakes, here are some key topics we hope she touches on in her new series:
Often referred to as the woman who built “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Leakes surely has opinions on the highly anticipated Season 16. Her commentary on the drama would be both entertaining and insightful.

From the previews of “The Nene Leakes Show,” it’s evident that her love life will be a major topic. Leakes’ perspective on dating would offer valuable insight. She was previously married to Gregg Leakes for a total of 22 years until his passing in 2021. She later dated designer Nyonisela Sioh on and off for about two years. Hopefully, she will share lessons learned from both relationships.

No matter what direction “The Nene Leakes Show” takes, it’s likely to pull in impressive numbers.

Her debut solo single, “No More Rain (In This Cloud),” has stormed to No. 1 on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart. It’s her first No. 1 on this chart and her first of three entries.

According to Billboard, “No More Rain” received 2.1 million official on-demand streams in the U.S. during the week of her passing, up
“No More Rain,” produced by Stone, samples Gladys Knight & The Pips’ 1973 classic “Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye).”
Stone co-wrote the soul-stirring song with Gordon Chambers and Bert Williams. It appears on her debut album, Black Diamond. It’s Stone’s longest-running No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, spending 10 weeks atop the chart.

Right behind “No More Rain” on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart is “Wish I Didn’t Miss You” at No. 2 and “Brotha” at No. 5. The latter two songs appear on Stone’s 2001 album, Mahogany Soul.
“Wish I Didn’t Miss You,” which samples The O’Jays’ “Back Stabbers,” was written and produced by the late Andrea Martin and Ivan Matias, with additional production by Swizz Beatz.

Meanwhile, the uplifting anthem “Brotha” was co-written by Stone, Harold Lilly, Jake and the Phatman (Glenn Standridge and Robert C. Ozuna), and Raphael Saadiq, who also produced it.
Elsewhere on Billboard, “No More Rain (In This Cloud)” debuts at No. 15 on the Digital Song Sales chart, while “Wish I Didn’t Miss You” opens at No. 20. It marks Stone’s first two entries on this chart.

The two songs plus “Brotha” also appear on the R&B/Hip-Hop Song Sales chart:

“Wish I Didn’t Miss You,” No. 6 debut
“Brotha,” No. 14 debut

#HipHopNews: Rick Ross Drags 50 Cent's Dead Mom Into Beef, Disses Tony Yayo & 'Auntie' Murda
Rick Ross has viciously hit back at 50 Cent, bringing his rap rival’s long-deceased mother into their beef.
In a lengthy video rant posted to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (March 12), Rozay did not hold back on his longtime nemesis and his crew.
“I didn’t know that they say I was the only person that fucked 50 Cent up. I ain’t know that, I’ma be honest. Tony Yayo told 50 Cent himself — y’all can Google it. Tony Yayo said, ‘I wouldn’t do that if I was [him],'” he said, referencing the G-Unit rapper’s recent comments about 50’s feuds with Ross, Big Meech and others.

“‘Cause Tony Yayo know them n-ggas ain’t got no money! Come on, man. Look at Tony Yayo and Auntie Murda — them n-ggas need facials. Old n-ggas whose skin ain’t even right, boy.”
Ross continued clowning Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda, saying: “Them n-ggas scared bad, man. You see that n-gga Auntie Murda? N-gga ain’t never killed nothing. That n-gga need a facial so bad. When I be seeing them blackheads on them n-ggas’ skin. Damn! Them n-ggas doing bad.”

He then turned his attention back to the G-Unit general: “But look, 50. Boy, I see you struggling making that G-Unit Film Studio out there in Louisiana where the cheapest land at. You thought you was gon’ be able to do it and get them loans.”
“What’s wrong? What’s taking so long?” he added. “You ain’t even build the G-Unit Studio yet. That might be why when I stood next to [Big] Meech yo knees buckled. Put your back against the wall. Poor n-gga, you a poor hustler [laughs].”

The MMG mogul then referenced 50’s late mother Sabrina Jackson, who died in a house fire when he was a kid: “I know you wanna make your momma one of them walking stars they put down there. Fuck how your momma live, n-gga. Make her her own walking star.”
Ross’ tirade did not end there as he also threatened to buy Fif’s master recordings.
“50, who owns your masters? I’ll buy your masters,” he sneered. “You better shut up. I will buy your masters.”

Rick Ross’ venomous remarks come shortly after 50 Cent mocked him for being Bow Wow’s “opener” on the Millennium Tour.
Rozay is billed as a “special guest” on the nationwide trek, which is co-headlined by Omarion and Trey Songz and also features performances from the likes of Ray J, Bobby V and former Pretty Ricky singer Pleasure P.
In an Instagram post earlier this week, 50 wrote alongside a flyer for the tour: “[ninja emoji]’s get quiet when they gotta open for Bow Wow, (BOSS) HE not a surprise guest he can’t sell a ticket. LOL.”

The Queens, New York native further jabbed Ross by calling him a “sissy” and claiming that he has to rely on his collaborations with friend-turned-foe Drake to win over crowds on the road.
The pair’s long-standing beef has reignited in recent weeks after Rozay’s aforementioned link-up with Black Mafia Family co-founder Big Meech, who was released from prison last year and who inspired 50’s BMF TV series.
50 previously dragged family members into the feud when he posted a video of Big Meech’s son Lil Meech accompanying Ross’ daughter Toie Roberts to prom, as well as her sweet 16 party in 2018.

#RIP: Democratic Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva of Arizona dies at 77
Democratic U.S. Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva of Arizona, who championed environmental protection during his 12 terms in Congress, died Thursday of complications from cancer treatments, his office said.
Grijalva, who was 77, had risen to chair the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee and was the top Democrat on the committee until earlier this year. He had been absent from Congress as he underwent cancer treatment in recent months.

Grijalva’s office said in a statement, “From permanently protecting the Grand Canyon for future generations to strengthening the Affordable Care Act, his proudest moments in Congress have always been guided by community voices.”

Another Democratic House member, Rep. Sylvester Turner of Texas, died last week from health issues.
Grijalva, the son of a Mexican immigrant, was first elected to the House in 2002. Known as a liberal leader, he led the Congressional Progressive Caucus in 2008 and dedicated much of his career to working on environmental causes on the Natural Resources Committee. He stepped down from that position this year, after announcing that he planned to retire rather than run for reelection in 2026.

Grijalva had announced in April last year that he had been diagnosed with cancer, but would be able to continue his work. Despite missing hundreds of House votes, he sought reelection and won easily in one of the most solidly Democratic districts in Arizona.

The seat will remain vacant until a replacement is selected in a special election later this year.
The Democratic primary is likely to be a fierce battle between allies of Grijalva, a longtime Southern Arizona power broker who led an influential bloc of progressive elected officials, and a more moderate faction. Possible contenders include his daughter, Adelita Grijalva, a member of the Pima County Board of Supervisors, and Tucson Major Regina Romero, one of Grijalva’s longtime allies.

Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego of Arizona, who served in the House until last year, said in a statement that “Congressman Grijalva was not just my colleague, but my friend.”

“As another Latino working in public service, I can say from experience that he served as a role model to many young people across the Grand Canyon State. He spent his life as a voice for equality,” Gallego added.
Grijalva started out as a community organizer in Tucson and served on the local school board for years before being elected the Pima County Board of Supervisors. He resigned from that post in 2002 to seek office in what was then Arizona’s newly created 7th Congressional District.

Grijalva prided himself on representing what he considered the underdogs, those without a voice.
A member of the House Natural Resources Committee for more than two decades, he worked on issues that ranged from securing water supplies for drought-stricken parts of Arizona and the West to securing funding for the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund, which safeguards natural areas and provides recreation opportunities to the public.

He also played a key role in writing the National Landscape Conservation System Act and the Federal Lands Restoration Act, which were passed and signed by President Barack Obama.
In recent years, he also led advocacy in Congress for the creation of a new national monument near the Grand Canyon. It was part of an effort to protect the area from uranium mining and to acknowledge repeated calls by Native American tribes that sought to protect more of their ancestral homelands.

He also opposed plans to develop a major copper mine in southern Arizona.
Rep. David Schweikert, a Republican and fellow Arizonan, said on the social platform X that Grijalva “was always very kind to me — he had a great sense of humor. As a fellow animal lover, we often found ourselves working together on animal protection issues.”

Angel Reese And Other WNBA Players Could Go On Strike If League Doesn’t Meet Their Demands

Angel Reese is signaling that a WNBA league-wide strike could be on the horizon if player demands go unmet. Never one to shy away from speaking her mind, the All-Star made her position clear on a recent episode of her Unapologetically Angel podcast.
“I need to be in the meetings because I’m hearing that if [the league] don’t give us what we want, we’re sitting out,” the 22-year-old declared. She was joined on the show by fellow WNBA player Dijonai Carrington, who’s also served as the union representative for the Connecticut Sun representative.

“That’s a possibility, for real,” the Dallas Wings player agreed.
The financial realities Reese and her peers face have long been a point of discussion in and outside of the league. Reese has addressed her low WNBA salary in the past and is set to earn $74,909 next season. Upon entering the league, Reese signed a four-year rookie contract worth $324,383 to play in the same WNBA that secured a $2.2 billion media rights deal in July 2024 to allow games to be aired live on Disney, NBC, and Amazon for the next 11 years.

WNBA Player’s Association Executive Director Terri Carmichael Jackson addressed the players’ mission in an October statement. “The players made the decision to opt out of the last CBA to realign the business and save the league from its own limitations,” she stated. “Today, with a stronger foundation and new investments flowing in, they’re opting out again — this time to fully professionalize the league, secure proper wages, improve working conditions and lock in meaningful benefits.”

The disparities between the WNBA and its male counterpart, the NBA, are stark.
Bloomberg reported that the WNBA generated $200,000,000 in revenue last season, with only 9.3 percent allocated to player salaries. On the flip-side, NBA players receive a full 50 percent of league revenue — a share that amounted to a staggering $5.3 billion in 2023 alone
For many WNBA athletes, financial stability requires playing overseas during the offseason — an option that Unrivaled, a new alternative league co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, is hoping will help bridge the financial gap.

Offering a nine-week season and an average salary of $250,000 for its 36 participating players, Unrivaled is meant to present a lucrative alternative to international play.

Reese, who has committed to the new league, has been forthright about her WNBA earnings. “I just hope y’all know, the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all. I don’t even think it pays one of my bills. Literally,” she stated bluntly in an Instagram Live session last year.
While Reese has leveraged her star power to secure endorsement deals and a build a robust personal brand, many of her peers do not have the same financial cushion. Perhaps its star players playing for another league can induce the WNBA will rev up their engines to make change.

Anika Noni Rose ‘deeply Disappointed’ Amid Tiana Series Cancellation

Rose encouraged fans to show their utmost support for the forthcoming "Tiana Special Event" inspired by "The Princess and the Frog".
The voice of Disney’s Princess Tiana, Anika Noni Rose, is speaking out following news of the Tiana series cancellation on Disney+.
“I, too, am deeply disappointed that the continuation of Tiana’s journey in series form has been cut short,” Rose wrote in a March 11 Instagram post. She expressed to fans that the series, which was announced in 2020, “was a long time coming, and a lot of beautiful work was put into it by all of the creatives involved.”

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ announcement to shelve what was planned as a musical featuring Rose as Princess Tiana from Disney’s 2009 film “The Princess and the Frog” comes amid Pixar’s decision earlier in March to pull the plug on creating long-form streaming content. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a spokesperson revealed that the cancellation is part of a shift in business strategy at Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Although Rose is hurt that her opportunity to reprise her role in the series as Disney’s first Black princess has been cut short, she is hopeful that fans will show their utmost support for the upcoming “Tiana Special Event.” She urged her fans to encourage everyone they know to tune in when the program airs. She left fans with a message to “show your love and your desire in the numbers. Make that desire an undeniable and real thing.” The actress promised fans that the team that has created the magic of Princess Tiana over the years will continue to deliver the “most beautiful content” possible.

Instagram followers promised to show up on their end and rallied in support of Rose’s challenge to them to run the numbers up when the forthcoming special is released. Princess Tiana fans can look forward to the short special inspired by “The Princess and the Frog,” featuring all-new storytelling.
“I’m so grateful to all who have worked to bring the Tiana series to life and all who continue to love her into existence and beyond,” Rose captioned her slideshow of thoughts. In addition to expressing gratitude to loyal fans, she also thanked the team of directors, writers, animators, and sound.

Keke Palmer Asks Claressa Shields When She’s “Knocking Remy Ma Out” Over Papoose Scandal
When Remy Ma & Papoose exposed each other for their alleged affairs last year, Claressa Shields challenged the femcee to a boxing match.
Late last year, Remy Ma and Papoose's relationship blew up, as they both hopped online to put each other on blast. The femcee accused the father of her child of cheating on her with professional boxer Claressa Shields, even exposing some of their text messages. Papoose was quick to fire back, referencing his wife's rumored affair with fellow battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain.

Amid all of this, Shields jumped in to challenge Remy to a boxing match. While she appeared to only be joking, social media users took this narrative and ran with it. "Claressa Shields vs @RealRemyMa Feb 2nd! Come get yo a** whooped crash out!!" she tweeted at the time. Now, during a recent appearance on Baby This Is Keke Palmer, she was asked to provide fans with an update. “When are you knocking Remy Ma out?” Palmer asked.

The athlete laughed upon hearing the question, but made it clear that she never had any real intentions of hurting Remy. According to her, she didn't even see the drama coming, and was simply looking to promote her biopic The Fire Inside. “Listen, I woke up that morning just as shocked as everybody. Like, what the hell? Oh, my God. What’s going on? I’m like, ‘I want to promote the movie. What is this?'” she explained. “So, you know, they say all publicity is good publicity.”

“I have to tell myself, like, this comes with the territory,” she also added. “So I think it’s not about the problem. It’s about how you handle the problem. And I think I handled it very well.” Last month, Shields celebrated Valentine's Day with Papoose in Hawaii, seemingly confirming that they're an item. They both showed off their adventures on social media. At the time of writing, Remy has yet to address Shields' latest comments about the debacle.

R. Kelly Remixes Chris Brown's "Residuals," Says He Doesn't 'Deserve' Prison

R. Kelly is the latest singer to provide his verse to Chris Brown's "Residuals" after the likes of Mario, Jacob Latimore, and others.
Despite currently spending time behind bars, R. Kelly found the time to make a remix of Chris Brown's "Residuals" over a prison phone call.
The disgraced 58-year-old singer-songwriter and convicted sex offender participated in Tank's challenge to have artists contribute their own verse to Chris Brown's 2023 track, which appeared on the deluxe edition of his album 11:11. Frequent R. Kelly collaborator Rodney East shared the remix on Instagram, and stressed that it was the real deal and not artificial intelligence.

"They're still selling my music, making all this money / Don't even send shit to my folks for commissary," Kelly sings on the remix, which can be heard below. "Though I'm in this place, I know I don't deserve this / There's questions on my mind."
In the track, he also asks "who's getting all my checks" as he's behind bars. "Where is my money at? / Tell me who, who's getting paid for my grind? / All of that's supposed to be mine?" he sings. "Who gave you 34 years? / Who made you billions of dollars? / Who put the R in R&B? / I swear that it's killing me in my cell, making me holler, dammit."

The remix comes shortly after R. Kelly made an appearance on the Inmate Tea with A&P podcast, during which he claimed he's written as many as 25 albums during his time in prison.

"Well, singing is a beautiful disease that’s incurable," he said when asked if he's kept working on new music behind bars. "That’s not gonna happen, stopping singing. I don’t care where I’m at. I’m always singing, I’m always writing. I’ve written, like, 25 albums since I been in here, and right now I’m just working on getting out… I’m using patience as a tactic right now."
In 2022, R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty of federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges. Last year, his daughter Buku Abi, born Joanne Kelly, alleged that she was sexually abused by her father.

Michelle Obama And Brother Craig Robinson Discuss Friendship With Issa Rae In First Podcast Episode
Michelle Obama and her older brother Craig Robinson have introduced the first guest on their IMO (In My Opinion) podcast: the incomparable actress, writer, and producer Issa Rae. In this episode, Issa joined the siblings to talk about the expansive topic of friendship, specifically about how to maintain them and the complexities of them.
Diving deeper into Issa’s opinions on the topic, the co-hosts asked the Insecure creator about her personal support system, opinions on high and low-maintenance friendships, and other aspects. When asked about the kind of friend she believes she is, Issa admitted that she’s questioned if she’s a “bad friend.”

“I think about you, but I might not text you to be like, ‘Hey I just want to make sure you’re okay,'” Issa admitted. “But you should know that I would hope you would call me if you weren’t okay and know that I would show up for you and be there for you.” She added, “I’m not a considerate friend in the way that i would like to be. It’s like one of my biggest flaws.” She also explained that because she is “so work focused” she doesn’t reach out to her friends as much, although she’s always thinking of them.

Elsewhere in the convo, the co-hosts asked about the right time to “end a friendship,” to which Issa shared a story about her most “painful” friendship breakup.
“I had a friend who I thought I was going to be friends with forever,” she began. “But she went through two major milestones — kind of traumatic milestones really young — she got married when we were in college and divorced when none of my other friends had experienced those things. And as a friend I didn’t know how to handle that. That was actually strike two, on my part, for her. I couldn’t be there for her like she needed me to.”

Issa’s openness on friendship comes almost a year after her former co-star and friend, Amanda Seales, claimed that Issa wasn’t “empowering” her during their time on set for Insecure. In a 2024 viral interview with Shannon Sharpe, the comedian and actress alleged that Issa “didn’t feel like I deserved to be protected. But that was my experience. And nonetheless, I have still always protected her because I felt like it was my responsibility to do so. But it is not.”
To counter that, Issa joined The Breakfast Club last September where she said admitted that she’s never going to work with “anyone who goes on a podcast and talks sh*t” about her again. Although she didn’t mention any names, it was assumed that she was speaking about Seales.

Mase, Lil' Kim, and Gloria Carter Attend Funeral for The Notorious B.I.G.'s Mother Voletta Wallace

Mase, Lil Kim, Faith Evans, and Jay-Z's mother Gloria Carter were among those in attendance for the funeral of Voletta Wallace, mother of The Notorious B.I.G., in New York City on Wednesday.
According to TMZ Hip Hop, the funeral was held in Frank Campbell Funeral Chapel, the same funeral home where the service for the late Brooklyn rapper took place in 1997.

Diddy's son Christian "King" Combs, as well as Christopher Jordan "C.J." Wallace, Biggie's son with Evans, and T'yanna Wallace, his daughter with high school sweetheart Jan Jackson, were also seen arriving for the service.

All attendees were required to check in with security guards to ensure they were on the approved guest list, as reported by Rolling Stone.
Wallace passed away last month in Pennsylvania where she was under hospice care. She was 72.

Following Biggie's death, Voletta kept the memory of the rapper's legacy alive with the 2009 biopic Notorious, which she served as a producer. She appeared on the 1999 posthumous album Born Again. Wallace oversaw the hip-hop legend's soaring estate, which is estimated at $160 million.

Jessica Simpson's Sobriety Under Scrutiny After Slurring Video
Jessica Simpson, 44, ignited a flurry of concerns among fans after posting a video to her Instagram while en route to the 2025 South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. The video, intended to give a casual update, instead drew questions regarding Simpson's "slurring" speech.
In the clip, she announced, "Hey everybody, it's Jessica Simpson. We just landed in Austin, and right now I'm going to wait in line at Enterprise. This is not an ad, but I'm getting a rental car."

Simpson, dressed in a striking blue faux fur jacket over a cheetah print outfit with silver accessories, seemed unaware that her speech pattern had fans questioning her sobriety status.
The speculation arose from comments pointing out that Simpson appeared to be "slurring" her words. Some fans even jokingly suggested she had a drink during the flight, despite Simpson's well-documented sobriety journey.

One fan commented, "Someone had a cocktail on the plane lol," while another reminisced, "Remember in Newlyweds when she spoke like a normal girl?"
Addressing a similar occurrence from 2022, Simpson firmly denied any relapse into drinking, asserting her dedication to sobriety, which she began in October 2017.
Simpson's struggle with alcohol addiction is no secret. The "Dukes of Hazzard" star has been open about how she was "killing herself with all the drinking and pills," but found a new sense of self and clarity after giving up alcohol.

In a poignant Instagram post from 2023, she shared an "unrecognizable" photo from the peak of her addiction with the caption, "This person in the early morning of Nov 1, 2017 is an unrecognizable version of myself." She emphasized that quitting alcohol allowed her to tackle traumas head-on and reclaim her self-respect.

Currently, Simpson is navigating her separation from husband Eric Johnson. She's channeling her experiences into her music, with a new EP titled "Nashville Canyon" set for release on March 21. The second part will follow in early summer 2025.
This comeback project includes a track called "Leave," which seemingly addresses her rocky marriage. The lyrics suggest infidelity, adding a raw and gritty narrative to her musical repertoire.

Wendy Williams' Guardian Speaks Out Amid Claims Of 'Elder Abuse' And 'Luxury Prison'
The saga of Wendy Williams, the charismatic former host of "The Wendy Williams Show," continues to unfold with new developments and conflicting narratives.
Williams has been voicing her frustration with what she describes as a "prison" environment in her New York City assisted living facility, prompting a strong rebuttal from her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey's attorney.

Wendy Williams, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in early 2024, has been under court-ordered guardianship since 2022. Her allegations have painted a bleak picture of her current living conditions, including claims that she isn't allowed visitors and must seek permission to access amenities.

Williams' representative highlighted these issues in a call to "Good Day New York," where she detailed the restrictions imposed on her in the fifth-floor memory unit.
Morrissey's lawyer responded publicly, disputing Williams' characterizations as "untrue, inaccurate, incomplete or misleading." According to the attorney, Williams "receives excellent medical care" at the facility, which boasts a spa, a workout room, excellent food, a dining room, and outside terraces.
Additionally, the attorney emphasized that Williams can call and see her family members whenever she desires, noting her recent trips to Florida for her son Kevin Hunter Jr.'s college graduation and her father's birthday.

Despite these assertions, sources allege that one of Williams' trips was initially denied by a judge and only approved after the premier of the "Saving Wendy" documentary.
Furthermore, while the legal team insists on the quality of care Williams is receiving, she has voiced strong opposition, even going so far as to drop a note reading "Help! Wendy!!" from her window, following which she was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital for a cognitive test which she reportedly passed with flying colors.

Following the welfare check by cops, the guardianship is reportedly now being investigated as "elder abuse."
The legal dispute also touches on financial aspects. Morrissey's attorney mentioned that the guardian has been working without pay since 2022 and has only received one payment of less than $30,000 for services rendered. This claim forms part of their argument against what they perceive as misleading information about the guardianship's operation.

As Wendy Williams seeks to terminate her guardianship, the court's decision remains a pivotal factor in her future. Until then, the public remains divided, and the media scrutiny continues to place both Williams' health and autonomy, along with her guardian's role, under the microscope. Only time will tell how this dramatic chapter in Wendy Williams' life will conclude.

While Annie and David weren’t initially sure if they wanted to have children together, she revealed she had a change of heart after she met her nephew in 2023. They ultimately agreed that they would try to conceive, and David even underwent a vasectomy reversal.

In January, Annie and David announced that they had begun their “major journey” to become pregnant and she had started undergoing IVF. “We look forward to the next steps and will keep you posted. They were absolutely amazing,” David explained to his social media followers about the decision. “Time to head back to Arizona.”

By June, Annie revealed that “the embryo transfer was successful.” After she thanked her doctor for being so “amazing” and helping make her “dreams come true,” she thanked “everyone for your love and support.”
“The most important person in my heart and my life is my husband David sweet potato king thank you so much,” she continued in the Instagram caption. “Thank you @hrcfertility and @hrcfertilityembryology and all the nurses, Angels, Michelle and everyone, you guys are awesome people and so kind. Thank you so very much. Form today everything will be in God hands and I will do my best for you ‘My Child.’”
They continued to keep their fans in the loop by sharing another update about her IVF journey in March. “The emotional roller coaster of IVF is hard to articulate. We will know in the next week if the embryo has in fact become a baby,” the reality star wrote in the caption while thanking their fans for their support. “We will update as we know. I thank all of the providers and everyone who have been involved with us since January when we began this journey.”

After they announced their pregnancy, Annie and David shared several updates about their journey on social media. They gave fans a glimpse into their baby shower in October. “We had such an amazing time at the baby shower,” they captioned photos from the special occasion. “Thank you to everyone who was able to make the party and to everyone who has sent us their thoughts, love and gifts for the baby.”
In November, she revealed that her husband spoiled her by bringing stuffed animals to a doctor’s appointment. “After my Dr appointment he got me a very cute animals,” she captioned a clip of David holding a stuffed monkey and stuffed bear.

Fans first got to know Annie and David when they made their reality TV debut during season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? They quickly became fan favorites and they went on to document their love story on David & Annie: After the 90 Days beginning in January 2022.

Gladys Knight Cancels Florida Concert Due to Illness

*Legendary R&B singer Gladys Knight had to cancel her performance in Florida on Saturday night after falling ill backstage.
According to TMZ, the 80-year-old music icon was battling the flu before the show and received medical treatment in Florida. She was released later that night.

Knight later took to social media to update her fans, reassuring them that she was “already feeling much better.” She explained that she had caught “that flu that is going around” but is on the mend.
“I’ll see everyone real soon and appreciate the good wishes,” she wrote.
“Tonight’s performance by Gladys Knight was cancelled due to illness,” a Florida Theater statement said. “Ms Knight and another member of her staff were taken ill backstage, very suddenly, and at the last minute, which necessitated the sudden cancellation of the show. We hope to reschedule the show, but it’s too early to know about that… we should know more early next week.“

Beyoncé Has No Plans to Return to Acting, Says Tina Knowles
*Beyoncé has captivated audiences on both stage and screen, but according to her mother, Tina Knowles, her days as a film actress are behind her.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on March 7, Knowles reflected on her daughter’s past film work, sharing a clip of Beyoncé’s performance as Etta James in “Cadillac Records” (2008). “This is still one of my favorite movies, and it makes me miss the fact that my child decided not to continue with movies,” she wrote.

Beyoncé made her acting debut in the 2001 TV movie “Carmen: A Hip Hopera” before appearing in “Austin Powers in Goldmember” (2002), “The Fighting Temptations” (2003), “The Pink Panther” (2006), “Dreamgirls” (2006), and “Obsessed” (2009).  She has also lent her voice to Queen Tara in the animated film “Epic” (2013) and portrayed Nala in Disney’s “The Lion King” (2019) as well as the prequel, “Mufasa: The Lion King”(2024).

Praising her daughter’s performance in “Cadillac Records,” Knowles added, “She killed it in this movie. And she so unselfishly donated her salary to the Phoenix House.”
Phoenix House is a nonprofit organization that supports individuals in addiction recovery. Beyoncé reportedly contributed her $4 million paycheck from the movie to the foundation.

The multi-Grammy-winning artist is preparing for her Cowboy Carter tour, but may be facing unexpected ticket sale challenges, NewsNation reports.
Despite the album’s success—topping the country charts and earning her a Grammy for Album of the Year—her upcoming tour has yet to sell out any shows. Tickets remain available across all dates, according to Ticketmaster and StubHub, NewsNation reports.

The issue is particularly noticeable in the U.K., where The Times reported that Ticketmaster anticipated a rush for tickets that never materialized. In the U.S., economic factors may be at play, as many fans spent heavily on her last tour and on Taylor Swift tickets.
“Her fanbase did not like Cowboy Carter—they were not impressed,” a music industry insider said. “They just blew their wad seeing her two years ago and in Taylor tickets… Bad economics right now.”

Virginia High School Athlete Faces Assault Charge After Baton Incident During Track Meet

A Portsmouth high school athlete has been charged with assault and battery after a viral video showed her striking another runner with a baton during a track meet earlier this month.
Sixteen-year-old Alaila Everett, a student at I.C. Norcom High School, was officially charged following the March 3 incident at the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Championship. During the second leg of the 4×200 relay, Everett was captured on video hitting fellow runner Kaelen Tucker in the head with her baton as Tucker attempted to pass her. Tucker immediately dropped her baton and clutched her head in pain. She was later diagnosed with a concussion.

The City of Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney confirmed that a petition for assault and battery was issued following the incident. Everett’s father, Genoah Everett, defended his daughter, claiming the contact was accidental and happened as Alaila struggled to maintain balance during the race.

Since the video went viral, Everett has faced online backlash, including racial slurs and threats. The Portsmouth NAACP has expressed concern for her well-being and stated they are reviewing the situation.
Kaelen’s parents said the school’s athletic director and Everett’s father have since apologized, but they have not received direct contact from Alaila or her coach.

Portsmouth Public Schools reported the incident to the VHSL, which is still investigating. “We are cooperating with the VHSL in its work. The division will support and follow the ruling upon its completed investigation,” the district said in a statement.
The VHSL stated that disqualifying Everett from the race was the correct course of action and reaffirmed their commitment to student-athlete safety.

#RHOA: Porsha Williams Tells ‘WWHL’ That Her Divorce Was “About To Be” Finalized Before Ex Got Detained By ICE

Porsha Williams was “about to” finalize her divorce from Simon Goubadia — but then he got detained by ICE.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star appeared on Sunday night’s (March 9) episode of Watch What Happens Live to celebrate her triumphant return to the reality series. Williams announced in February 2024 that she would be coming back to RHOA after a two-season hiatus — and one week later, she filed for divorce from her husband of 15 months.

“I am still married,” Williams told host Andy Cohen on Sunday night. “It was about to be over and then unfortunately he had been detained.”
Goubadia, who came to the United States from Nigeria in the early 1980s, was taken into custody by ICE amid President Donald Trump‘s mass deportation orders. He is currently being held at a “facility” in Georgia, according to Williams.

“Our last court date, he requested for it to be in person. I didn’t want it to be in person because I kind of knew the climate,” Williams explained. “And unfortunately, he walked into it. But I think he’ll figure it out. I wish him well. I pray for him and his family and maybe they can figure it out.”

According to court documents obtained by Atlanta’s WSB-TV 2, Goubadia came to the United States in 1982 but was declared deportable in 1985 when he overstayed his visa. When he returned to the country the following year, he overstayed his work visa for the second time.
Goubadia was arrested multiple times over the years. In 1987, he pleaded guilty to bank and credit card fraud. While he was physically deported in 1992, he was quickly granted a permanent residency under an undisclosed identity, per the outlet. His several attempts to become a naturalized citizen since then have been denied.

When Cohen pointed out that Goubadia had somewhat of a “background” from the 1980s, Williams quipped, “Before I was born, yeah.” The reality star also admitted that she did not Google her estranged husband before deciding to marry him.
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.

#HipHopNews: Mase Announces He’s Releasing New Album on First Day of Diddy Trial; A Triple CD
Mase is releasing a new album this year, it seems. The former Bad Boy rapper revealed the news during the March 7 episode of his sports talk show It Is What It Is where he chatted with Stat Baby and former football player Maurice Clarett.
“Mo, what’s good? Can y’all hear the music,” he asked his co-hosts. “I’m listening to the songs that Killa picked out of the stuff I made,” meaning that Cam’ron is helping him curate the select which all tracks will make the cut on the album.

“No, no, no. These are the songs he picked, so I’m listening to his lineup,” he further stated. “It’s gonna be crazy. We had to pick the right records.”
When asked when the new album is coming out, he said: “May 25. The first day of the Diddy trial. We’re dropping. You like that? You made me put it out there. I wasn’t going to put that out there, but Mo, you made me.”

Maybe Mase is mistaken because the first day of the Diddy trial is actually fixed for May 5th in Manhattan on federal charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He further stated that it would be a triple album. “Now we even,” Mase continued.
Mase hasn’t released a new album since 2004’s Welcome Back.

Isaiah Stokes, Former ‘Law & Order’ Actor, Found Guilty Of 2021 Murder

A former actor who appeared on the hit shows Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Boardwalk Empire has been convicted of the 2021 murder of a Queens man.
On Friday (March 7), Isaiah Stokes was found guilty of shooting 37-year-old Tyrone Jones multiple times as Jones sat in his parked car, according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

Stokes was convicted of second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and is scheduled to reappear for sentencing on March 21. He now faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 years in prison and could possibly receive a life sentence.
Stokes, now 45, was convicted following a two-week jury trial, which started on Feb. 13, during which the prosecution laid out the defendant’s motive behind the crime and his premeditated actions leading up to the murder.
The victim had drawn Stokes’ ire after having him kicked out of his birthday party in October 2020. Stokes, stewing over the incident for months, eventually place a tracking device underneath Jones’ car on Jan. 29, 2021.

Days later, on Feb. 7, 2021, Stokes tracked Jones’ vehicle to the intersection of Linden Boulevard and 200th Street, approached the driver’s side of the car and shot Jones 11 times, striking him in the head and chest. Jones, who was 37-years-old at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“This was a calculated murder,” Queens DA Melinda Katz said in a statement. “The defendant, a part-time actor, stewed for months after being thrown out of a birthday party for his own inappropriate behavior.

“Intent on revenge, Isaiah Stokes placed a GPS on the victim’s car and tracked Tyrone Jones down to Linden Boulevard, where he ruthlessly shot the man 11 times as he sat in his car.”
Katz continued, reiterating her mission to decrease shootings and other crimes involving firearms in her borough.

Melinda Katz, the Queens Borough president, speaks during a vigil in memory of the victims of the mass shooting at the Tree Of Life Synagogue on the steps of Queens Borough Hall on October 29, 2018 in New York City. “My office is laser-focused on gun violence, and we will utilize every tool at our disposal to investigate, arrest and prosecute those who use deadly guns on our streets,” the DA vowed.
“I thank our prosecutors and the NYPD detectives who built this case. The jury has now spoken, and the defendant faces up to 25 years to life at sentencing for his criminal actions.”
In addition to bit parts in the series’ Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Boardwalk Empire, Stokes’ credits include appearances in Killa Season, Louie, The Americans, Blue Bloods, and Power.

George Clinton Files $100 Million Lawsuit Against Bridgeport Music Alleging Copyright Theft
George Clinton has filed a $100 million lawsuit against his former business partner and Bridgeport Music, alleging copyright theft.
Funk musician George Clinton has filed a copyright lawsuit against former business partner, Armen Boladian, and his Bridgeport Music company. The suit, filed in Florida District Court on Tuesday, alleges that Boladian fraudulently obtained copyrights to approximately 90% of Clinton’s catalog.

According to Clinton’s lawsuit, Boladian and Bridgeport — as well as Westbound Records, Nine Records, Southfield Music, and Eastbound Records — unlawfully profit off the funk musician’s work. He held a press conference outside of the Apollo Theatre to announce the suit, alongside his attorney Ben Crump and fellow counsel. Clinton says he intends to reclaim ownership of his catalog to provide generational wealth to his family.

“These songs we’re talking about is my history,” said Clinton. “I have to fight for them; I have to make sure that I did not do all of this my whole life and have my family here, not get what’s due to them, what they inherit. We don’t have a chance to pass down 40 acres and mules to our families. We do not have the copyrights for the songs. So I’m here along with Ben and partners to make sure that Armen does not get what we worked so hard for.”

“I will continue to speak truth to power and to fight against the forces that have separated so many songwriters from their music,” Clinton continues. “I encourage all my fellow artists to investigate, interrogate, litigate, unseal, reveal. If we don’t get this right, then they win, and I refuse to let them win. This is about my family and the family of the other legacy artists and us being able to give generational wealth to our family from the intellectual property.”

Clinton’s lawsuit claims that his longtime business partner, Boladian, withheld millions of dollars in royalties and engaged in deceptive and fraudulent practices throughout the years. Allegedly, between 1982 and 1985, Boladian fabricated multiple versions of agreements, designating additional rights to his catalog, adding fake names and pseudonyms to copyright registrations to dilute royalty shares.

“This is just the latest in a series of lawsuits that Mr. Clinton has filed against Bridgeport and Armen Boladian over the last 30 years, raising the same exact issues,” said a statement from Boladian’s attorney, Richard Busch. “He has lost each and every time, including in the very courthouse in which he has filed this latest lawsuit. We will obviously, therefore, be moving to dismiss this lawsuit and will be seeking sanctions.”

Boladian has a history of litigious behavior over commercial use of Clinton’s music. He has filed hundreds of lawsuits in 2001 alone against musicians who sampled his work. Clinton’s lawsuit notes that he was not included as a plaintiff in any of those lawsuits, and did not receive any of the millions Boladian was awarded.

Clinton also lost a copyright lawsuit to Boladian in 2001 after a Florida judge ruled that music written from 1976 to 1983 belongs to Bridgeport Music. But that was only the beginning of their legal warfare. Boladian lost a defamation suit against Clinton in 2021, over claims made in the latter’s 2014 autobiography, “Brothas Be, Yo Like George, Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You?: A Memoir.” The book claims that Boladian had fabricated documents, fraudulently backdated and altered contracts, and “robbed” Clinton of his songs.

Stephen A. Smith polls at 2% for ’28 presidential aspirants

Stephen A. Smith, the outspoken ESPN commentator known for his passionate sports analysis, has emerged as an unlikely subject in early conversations about potential Democratic presidential candidates for 2028. While most political observers view such speculation with skepticism, the mere presence of his name in political polling reflects broader questions about celebrity influence in American politics.
From sports desk to political polls

Smith’s name appeared in January polling conducted by McLaughlin that measured potential Democratic presidential contenders. The sports personality registered 2 percent support among Democratic primary voters, placing him near former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, who received 3 percent.

This polling inclusion follows Smith’s own public musings about political ambitions. During a February episode of his podcast, he remarked that the Democratic Party’s performance appeared so disappointing that he “might entertain running.” During a separate appearance on “The View,” Smith expressed confidence about potential electoral prospects, declaring, “I think I can beat them all.”
These comments, while likely not representing concrete political plans, have sparked conversations among political commentators about the blurring boundaries between entertainment figures and political candidates in contemporary American politics.

Smith’s significant media presence provides a platform that many traditional political figures lack. His recently signed contract with ESPN, reportedly worth more than $100 million, grants him regular exposure to millions of viewers and listeners across multiple platforms.
This visibility translates into recognition that many earnest political aspirants struggle to achieve despite years of public service. The phenomenon reflects an evolution in political pathways where media prominence can substitute for traditional political experience in generating public awareness.

Political analysts note that Smith’s commentary regularly veers beyond sports into cultural and occasionally political topics, giving him practice addressing controversial issues before large audiences. This comfort with public debate and confrontation aligns with skills valuable in modern political campaigns.

Many political observers express concern that attention to celebrity political possibilities distracts from serious discussions about governance. Critics argue that media fascination with personalities like Smith diverts attention from qualified candidates with relevant experience and policy knowledge.

Michael Arceneaux, a New York Times bestselling author cited in coverage of Smith’s political mentions, suggests that numerous qualified Black politicians deserve attention and support rather than celebrity figures without governance experience.
Additionally, Smith’s actual political views could prove problematic for Democratic primary voters. His past statements expressing regret about voting for Kamala Harris and praise for conservative commentator Candace Owens might align poorly with the priorities of Democratic primary voters.

While polling at 2 percent might seem insignificant, political analysts note that achieving such recognition without formal political involvement represents an advantage many serious candidates struggle to attain. However, translating media recognition into electoral viability involves numerous additional obstacles.
Established political structures favor candidates with connections to donor networks, party infrastructure, and policy expertise. Breaking into these systems typically requires years of relationship building and political apprenticeship that celebrity figures lack.

Smith’s hypothetical candidacy would confront skepticism from party officials, potential staff members, and voters concerned about governance experience. These barriers have historically limited the success of outsider candidates despite initial media attention and public curiosity.
The Guardian’s headline exemplifies how speculative political coverage can elevate unlikely scenarios into mainstream discussion. This pattern has become increasingly common in political media, where novelty often drives engagement more effectively than substantive policy analysis.

Political observers note that Smith’s inclusion in these conversations occurs amid a particular context of Democratic uncertainty following electoral disappointments. This environment naturally produces explorations of unconventional possibilities as stakeholders reconsider traditional approaches.
Similar speculation has emerged around other celebrities and business figures in recent election cycles, reflecting a broader fascination with political outsiders. This trend gained particular momentum following Donald Trump’s successful transition from television personality to president.

Despite the media’s occasional fascination with celebrity candidates, governance ultimately requires specific skills, knowledge, and experience that extend well beyond public speaking ability and name recognition. The machinery of government involves complex systems that demand substantive expertise to navigate effectively.
Political scientists emphasize that successful governance typically requires deep understanding of policy, bureaucratic processes, legislative negotiation, and international relations. While outsider perspectives can sometimes introduce valuable innovations, the learning curve for completely inexperienced leaders remains steep.

This reality creates natural skepticism about celebrity political aspirations, regardless of the individual’s success in their primary field. Voters historically evaluate candidates based on perceived readiness to handle the specific responsibilities of the office sought.

As the Democratic Party begins the long process of identifying potential standard-bearers for 2028, serious contenders will emerge from traditional political pathways including governors, senators, representatives, and cabinet officials. These individuals will develop policy positions, build campaign infrastructure, and establish their qualifications for high office.
Against this backdrop, Smith’s fleeting mention in early polling likely represents more of a cultural curiosity than a genuine political development. The sports commentator continues to focus primarily on his broadcasting career rather than political organizing or policy development.

Nevertheless, the conversation surrounding Smith’s hypothetical candidacy provides an opportunity to examine America’s evolving relationship with celebrity, media, and political leadership. It raises important questions about qualification standards, pathways to power, and the role of traditional political experience in an increasingly media-driven political environment.

Scott Peterson Reportedly Involved in Physical Altercation During Pickleball Game in Prison
Scott Peterson got into a physical altercation during a pickleball game at his California state prison.
TMZ reports that on Sunday, Peterson got into a dispute in the yard at Mule Creek State Prison, which is close to Sacramento. Sources told the outlet that he hit the ball at another inmate, which led to the fight, resulting in Peterson getting “beat up.” It seems Peterson’s injuries were severe enough to warrant a trip to the hospital.
In 2004, Peterson was sentenced to the death penalty after being found guilty of murdering his wife, Laci, who was eight months pregnant. In 2002, he reported her missing; later, her headless body was found in the San Francisco Bay, as well as the body of their unborn son, Conner.

In 2020, he was resentenced to life in prison without parole after his conviction was overturned due to jury selection errors.

Peterson has maintained his innocence. Last August, he was given the chance to deny killing Laci and his unborn child in the three-part docuseries, Face to Face with Scott Peterson.
He claimed that law enforcement officials’ “so-called investigation” ignored leads and relied on circumstantial evidence—eventually leading to his conviction of double murder during the highly-publicized, five-month-long trial in 2004.

“I regret not testifying [at my trial], but if I have a chance to show people what the truth is, and if they are willing to accept it, it would be the biggest thing that I can accomplish right now—because I didn’t kill my family,” he said.

Le'Veon Bell Denies Rape Allegations From Woman Who Won $25 Million Verdict

Le’Veon Bell is denying the rape allegations from his alleged victim who received a multi-million judgment.
TMZ reports that according to Bell, the woman’s allegation—that Bell raped her for years when she was a minor — is “bogus” according to a statement from his attorney, Thomas W. Shaffer. "My client adamantly denies any and all allegations that have been lodged against him. Further, he was never served with a civil complaint or any documents,” he said.

Shaffer also said that Bell is working to reverse the judgment. "The default judgment granted was based upon violations of his Fifth Amendment rights of due process for failing to be served," he said. "My client is in the process of filing a motion to open and reverse the default judgment because the narratives of the case have never been litigated."

Last year, Jada Bell filed a lawsuit in Franklin County, OH, alleging that Bell started having non-consensual, incestual relations with her when she was just six or seven years old. It allegedly continued for nearly a decade, finally ending when she turned 18.
"None of these encounters was consensual and they happened with such frequency as to habitualize the Plaintiff to the abuse," the lawsuit says.
The complaint was filed on March 22, 2024. In October, the presiding judge issued the woman a default judgment in her favor, ruling that Bell Sr.  was "served according to law and failed to move, plead, or otherwise appear in this action."

Last month, the woman was awarded more than $36 million in damages. From Le’Veon Bell, she’s entitled to $20 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. From his brother La’Vonte Bell, she’s entitled to $11 million in damages.

Jay-Z Jane Doe Heard On Tape Admitting He Never Raped Her

The woman who sued Jay-Z for allegedly raping her when she was just 13 years old after the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2000 has been caught on an audio recording apparently admitting the alleged incident never happened.
The audio -- obtained by ABC News -- was recorded by a couple private investigators ... and, in it, the woman who filed the suit against Jay-Z walks back the claim she made in her lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee back in December.

The woman -- identified only as a Jane Doe -- can be heard telling the investigators that Jay-Z was at the party, but he never engaged in any sexual activity with her.

When asked why she claimed he did in her lawsuits, the woman replies that Buzbee "pushed" her to include Jay in the suit ... a claim Buzbee vehemently denies.
In fact, he handed over his own audio recording to ABC also featuring Jane Doe where he confronts her with these claims ... and, she replies that she never actually took back her claims.

Jay-Z's lawyer, Alex Spiro, spoke with ABC News as well ... saying his client is hopeful that this will put an end to the painful saga of false claims against him.
We previously told you private investigators claimed they spoke with the anonymous woman who filed the suit against Jay-Z  ... with one of them, Charlotte Henderson, filing an affidavit last week stating she met with Jane Doe on Feb. 21, 2025 in the accuser's Alabama home. Henderson said she was not hired by Jay or his attorneys to perform this investigation -- and Henderson didn't say who, if anyone, was paying her.

The lawsuit -- which also claimed Diddy drugged and raped her -- was dropped in February ... however, in her dismissal, this woman says she stood by all the claims leveled in her suit. Jay-Z has filed a lawsuit against the Jane Doe and Buzbee for defamation.
We reached out to Tony Buzbee ... and he tells us, "The tape is a fraud. They tormented and harassed and tricked that poor woman and took what she said out of context and secretly recorded her. She stands by her claim that Jay-Z assaulted her. She has never wavered on that point once."

Wendy Williams Speaks Out On Recent Hospitalization, Denies She Is Incapacitated
Wendy Williams is breaking her silence on her recent hospitalization.
On Monday (March 10), the 60-year-old former talk show host was taken from her assisted living facility and transported via ambulance to a local hospital.

However, during a new interview, Wendy explained that she wanted to go to the hospital to get an individual evaluation from a medical professional.
“The police showed up. I’m exhausted. I wanted to go to the hospital to talk to the doctor,” she said while on The Breakfast Club on Tuesday (March 11)
Ginalisa Monterroso of the Connect Care Advisory Group also said that she was concerned that Wendy was “isolated” in her current living situation.
“I am not incapacitated as I’ve been accused, and the floor that I live on is the memory unit. The people who live there don’t remember anything, unlike me. Why am I here? What is going on? It’s a cry for help,” Wendy added.

Wendy also claimed she scored a perfect score on a cognition test while at the hospital.
Wendy‘s diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia & aphasia was revealed in February 2024, and she has been in an ongoing legal battle with her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.
Sabrina claimed Wendy is “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled and legally incapacitated,” a statement which Wendy has repeatedly denied.

What Happened to Kelly Clarkson? She has multiple guest hosting in her absence

Singer-songwriter and TV personality Kelly Clarkson has not appeared as the host in the last few episodes of her self-titled syndicated talk show, and many fans are curious to know why. The Kelly Clarkson Show debuted on September 9, 2019, and has since become one of the most popular daytime talk shows on television. Accordingly, Clarkson’s absence from it has drawn considerable attention.

Here’s what’s currently known about Kelly Clarkson’s absence from recent episodes of her show.
Why was Kelly Clarkson replaced on her talk show?
Neither Clarkson nor any other producers associated with the series have made any official statement regarding her absence from The Kelly Clarkson Show. Notably, Clarkson last appeared on the show earlier this month, but it has continued airing with guest hosts serving as replacements. Some of the Hollywood celebrities who have guest-hosted The Kelly Clarkson Show are Simu Liu, Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes, and Brooke Shields.

Shields hosted the March 10 episode and will return for the March 11 edition. On March 12, Sunday Today anchor Willie Geist will take over hosting duties. Model and actress Molly Sims will subsequently replace Geist for the remaining two days of the week.
During his turn as the host, Liu joked that he had not known that he would be acting as Clarkson’s replacement “until five minutes ago” when he arrived at the studio to promote his new movie Last Breath. He added, “So I’m here now, and I’m not one to back down from a challenge.” (via The Mirror)

As mentioned above, Clarkson hasn’t provided any official reasons for her absence, though some fans are speculating that she is on a break to spend more time with her family. Clarkson has two children with her former husband Brandon Blackstock, a daughter named River Rose and a son named Remington “Remy” Alexander.

Billy Joel Undergoes Surgery, Postpones Four Months of Concerts
Billy Joel is postponing all of his concerts over the next four months because of a recent surgery for a “medical condition” that will require physical therapy and the supervision of a doctor.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first,” Joel says in a statement, which notes that he’s “expected to make a full recovery. “I look forward to getting back onstage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”

He’ll resume playing concerts July 5 at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. The postponed shows in Toronto, Detroit, Syracuse, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Salt Lake City, Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Charlotte will take place either later this year or in 2026. New dates have been announced for nearly all of them.
Joel’s most recent show took place Feb. 22 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. It was a standard gig that mixed big hits like “Only the Good Die Young,” “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant,” and “Big Shot” with deeper cuts like “Zanzibar,” “Sometimes a Fantasy,” and “Vienna.” He did briefly trip after tossing his mic stand to a roadie near the end of “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me,” but he recovered quickly and finished the show.

Early last year, Joel released “Turn the Lights Back On,” his first original song since 2007’s “Christmas in Fallujah.” It was co-written and produced by Freddy Wexler, a longtime Joel fan who has worked with everyone from Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande to Celine Dion, Kanye West, and Selena Gomez.
“It’s such an honor,” Wexler told Rolling Stone. “I know he’s been approached by a lot of people over the years to work and he didn’t want to. I think he partly did it for me. I think he was like, ‘I really like this song. I can help finish it.’ He said to me, ‘I’ve said these words before. This feels like a song I would’ve written on my own.’”

“Turn the Lights Back On” was first performed live at the 2024 Grammys, and Joel played it at his own shows over the next few months before dropping it out of rotation last June. Despite the lack of new material, Joel continues to headline stadiums across North America and Europe.
“I’ve gone onstage and said, ‘I don’t have anything new for you, so we’re just going to play the old shit,’” Joel told Rolling Stone in 2019. “And the audience goes, ‘Yeah!’ I’ll be sitting in the stadium looking out at 30,000, 40,000, 50,000 people, thinking, ‘What the hell are they all doing here? Why now?’ I guess, in a way, I’m an anachronism. There aren’t that many of me left. There’s a rarity to it, which gives it value.”

Dawn Robinson of En Vogue Opens Up About Living in Her Car for the Past Three Years

*Dawn Robinson, the former lead singer of the iconic R&B group En Vogue, recently opened up about an unexpected chapter in her life that has left many fans both shocked and supportive.
In a candid revelation, Robinson, 58, disclosed that she has been living in her car for the past three years. This personal journey has led her to profound reflections on life, growth, and resilience. In a video shared with her followers, Robinson explained her situation

“Sometimes in life, we end up in situations that we weren’t expecting. There’s something we need to learn or teach, but we’re too afraid to push ourselves out of our comfort zones, so the universe does it for us!” She has embraced this challenging lifestyle as an opportunity for self-discovery and growth, stating, “I took a risk and jumped head first into car life, and WOW, what a crazy, fun, sometimes scary ride it’s been. For me, failure is NOT an option.”

Robinson’s journey has not gone unnoticed. The reactions from her audience on platforms like YouTube have been overwhelmingly supportive. Many fans have praised her bravery in sharing her story and her ability to inspire others with her experiences. One user commented, “Very proud of you Dawn! Keep your head up. You’re going to win in the end. You’re winning now by inspiring so many.” Another expressed fascination with her choice to live off the grid, recognizing the personal strength it takes to maintain such independence, even when offered help from dedicated fans.

Dawn Robinson, born on November 24, 1966, in New London, Connecticut, has had a celebrated yet tumultuous career in the music industry. After rising to fame with En Vogue, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, she left the group in 1997 due to contract disputes.
Following her departure, she joined the group Lucy Pearl, which produced a platinum album in 2000, and later launched a solo career with her album “Dawn” in 2002, featuring the hit single “Envious.” Robinson rejoined En Vogue briefly in both 2005 and 2009 but ultimately parted ways again in 2011 due to disagreements about management and compensation.

While Robinson’s music career has been a rollercoaster ride, recent updates suggest she has opted to focus on personal reflection rather than a return to music. Although she participated in TV One’s “Unsung” in 2023 to reflect on her career and En Vogue’s legacy, there have been no announcements regarding new music or major projects in 2025.

Dawn’s personal life has also had its challenges. Her previous marriage to Andre “Dre” Allen lasted from 2003 to 2010 and ended amid public disputes regarding her behavior. She dated Christopher Nils Connolly from 2012 to 2017 but is currently single with no significant updates on her romantic life.
As Robinson continues to navigate her unique circumstances, many remain hopeful that her transparency about her struggles will encourage others facing similar challenges. Her story serves as a testament to resilience, learning, and the complexities of life after fame. Regardless of her current living situation, fans can count on Robinson to share her journey honestly, inspiring others to embrace their paths, no matter how unconventional they may be.

MSNBC to Feature Openly Gay Black Men in New Panel Show
*MSNBC is shaking up its weekend lineup amid declining ratings, introducing “The Weekend,” a new panel show featuring Jonathan Capehart, Eugene Daniels, and Jackie Alemany.
Capehart and Daniels will make history as the first two openly gay Black men to co-host a news program on a major network. Capehart, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Washington Post associate editor, currently hosts “The Saturday/Sunday Show With Jonathan Capehart.” Daniels, formerly a Politico White House correspondent and “Playbook” co-author, also serves as president of the White House Correspondents’ Association. MSNBC recently named him as its new Senior Washington Correspondent.

Capehart, Daniels, and Alemany appeared on “Morning Joe” to share news of their new show.
“We have so much to talk about, and thankfully, we’re going to have six hours — Saturday and Sunday — to really keep the conversation going,” Capehart said, per LGBTQ Nation.

We reported earlier… Daniels is no stranger to the network, having made frequent appearances over the years. His new role as Senior Washington Correspondent was announced last week on Morning Joe, where hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough welcomed him aboard.
“Thank you. You guys put me on TV all the time, so now they just stuck me there. So this is all your fault,” Daniels joked, per TheWrap.
Daniels has appeared on MSNBC more than 100 times and guest-hosted various programs. Since first joining the network in 2021, he has served as a Senior Political Analyst.

Capehart, Daniels, and Alemany will host “The Weekend” on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 to 10 a.m. ET. The new show comes over a week after the network canned Joy Reid, prompting many of her colleagues and supporters to call for a boycott against MSNBC.
“Everytime MSNBC has a ‘shakeup’ the Black woman solo led show is ALWAYS the first to go,” wrote Ambassador Digital Magazine editor-in-chief Musa Jackson on Threads. “Tamron Hall, Tiffany Cross, Zerlina Maxwell and now Joy Reid. Boycott MSNBC.”

Milwaukee Bucks Legend and Business Mogul Junior Bridgeman Passes Away at 71

Former NBA star and highly successful businessman Junior Bridgeman has passed away at the age of 71, the Milwaukee Bucks announced Tuesday.
Bridgeman reportedly suffered a medical emergency at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville during a fundraising event. His passing marks the loss of not only a basketball icon but also a trailblazer in the business world, who turned his post-NBA career into a billion-dollar empire.

Bridgeman, a Louisville native, made his mark in the NBA as a key player for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1975 but was quickly traded to Milwaukee, where he spent the majority of his 12-year career. Known for his versatility and scoring ability, he played an essential role coming off the bench, earning a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable sixth men
By the time he retired in 1987, Bridgeman had played over 1,000 NBA games, averaging 13.6 points per game in his career. His impact on the Bucks franchise remains significant, and his contributions to the team’s success in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s are still remembered by fans.

While many athletes struggle to find their footing after retirement, Bridgeman seamlessly transitioned into the business world. Even during his playing days, he was preparing for life beyond basketball—working at Wendy’s during the offseasons to understand the fast-food industry.

That knowledge paid off. Bridgeman invested in Wendy’s and Chili’s franchises, eventually becoming one of the largest restaurant franchise owners in the country. His company, Bridgeman Foods Inc., owned over 450 Wendy’s and 120 Chili’s locations at its peak.
In 2016, he took his business empire to new heights by acquiring Ebony and Jet magazines, two historic publications in Black media. His leadership helped revitalize the brands, ensuring their continued influence in African American culture.
Bridgeman’s success extended far beyond basketball, serving as an inspiration for athletes looking to build generational wealth. His ability to pivot from sports to business made him one of the wealthiest former athletes, with an estimated net worth surpassing $600 million.

His passing leaves a void in both the sports and business worlds, but his impact will continue to inspire generations to come.

Rest in peace to a true legend.
