The Daily Buzz For Dec 1

World AIDS Day 2014 is an opportunity to harness the power of social change to put
people first and close the access gap.
Ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030 is possible, but only by closing the gap between
people who have access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support services and
people who are being left behind.
Closing the gap means empowering and enabling all people, everywhere, to access
the services they need.
By closing the HIV testing gap, the 19 million people who are unaware of their
HIV-positive status can begin to get support.
By closing the treatment gap, all 35 million people living with HIV will have
access to life-saving medicine.
By closing the gap in access to medicines for children, all children living with
HIV will be able to access treatment, not just the 24% who have access today.

By closing the access gap, all people can be included as part of the solution.
Closing the gap means that ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030 is possible.

Presidential Proclamation -- World AIDS Day, 2014

In communities across our Nation and around the world, we have made extraordinary progress in the global fight against HIV/AIDS. Just over three decades ago, when we knew only the devastation HIV inflicted, those living with it had to fight just to be treated with dignity and compassion, and since the first cases of AIDS were reported, tens of millions of vibrant men and women have lost their lives to this deadly virus. Today, we have transformed what it means to live with HIV/AIDS. More effective prevention, treatment, and care now save millions of lives while awareness has soared and research has surged. This World AIDS Day, we come together to honor all those who have been touched by HIV/AIDS and celebrate the promising public health and scientific advances that have brought us closer to our goal of an AIDS-free generation.

Since I took office, more people who are infected with HIV have learned of their status, allowing them to access the essential care that can improve their health, extend their lives, and prevent transmission of the virus to others. My Administration has made strides to limit new infections and reduce HIV-related disparities and health inequalities, and we have nearly eliminated the waiting list for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. For many, with testing and access to the right treatment, a disease that was once a death sentence now offers a good chance for a healthy and productive life.

Despite these gains, too many with HIV/AIDS, especially young Americans, still do not know they are infected; too many communities, including gay and bisexual men, African Americans, and Hispanics remain disproportionately impacted; and too many individuals continue to bear the burden of discrimination and stigma. There is more work to do, and my Administration remains steadfast in our commitment to defeating this disease. Guided by our National HIV/AIDS Strategy, we are working to build a society where every person has access to life-extending care, regardless of who they are or whom they love. The Affordable Care Act prohibits insurance companies from denying coverage due to a pre-existing condition, such as HIV/AIDS, and requires that most health plans cover HIV screenings without copays for everyone ages 15 to 65 and others at increased risk. We have expanded opportunities for groundbreaking research, and we continue to invest in innovation to develop a vaccine and find a cure. And this summer, my Administration held a series of listening sessions across the country to better understand the successes and challenges of those fighting HIV at the local and State level.

In the face of a disease that extends far beyond our borders, the United States remains committed to leading the world in the fight against HIV/AIDS and ensuring no one is left behind. Hundreds of thousands of adolescent girls and young women are infected with HIV every year, and we are working to reach and assist them and every community in need. As part of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, over 7 million people with HIV around the globe are receiving antiretroviral treatment, a four-fold increase since the start of my Administration. In countries throughout the world, our initiatives are improving the lives of women and girls, accelerating life-saving treatment for children, and supporting healthy, robust communities.

As a Nation, we have made an unwavering commitment to bend the curve of the HIV epidemic, and the progress we have seen is the result of countless people who have shared their stories, lent their strength, and led the fight to spare others the anguish of this disease. Today, we remember all those who lost their battle with HIV/AIDS, and we recognize those who agitated and organized in their memory. On this day, let us rededicate ourselves to continuing our work until we reach the day we know is possible -- when no child has to know the pain of HIV/AIDS and no life is limited by this virus.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States do hereby proclaim December 1, 2014, as World AIDS Day. I urge the Governors of the States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, officials of the other territories subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, and the American people to join me in appropriate activities to remember those who have lost their lives to AIDS and to provide support and comfort to those living with this disease.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-eighth day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand fourteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-ninth.

Together we can all help end AIDS!

Frank Ocean Drops New Track "Memrise"
It's been a while since we've heard from Frank Ocean.  But he dropped a suprise on his fans in the form of a new song.
Back in April, Frank ocean said his sophomore album follow up to his Channel Orange debut was almost complete.  So it looks like he's giving fans a peek at what to expect from album #2.

Frank posted the track Memrise" to his Tumblr page, along with the lyrics:

I memorized the wayward expressions
Never look down
Never let you see me down
I memorized the way no directions
Can I come over now
I’d like to stay a little while
I memorized your body exposed
I could fuck you all night long
From a memory alone

I never forget a face
Don’t go plastic on me
Nothing’s set in stone
You’re not dipped in gold
Dipped in gold
You can’t breathe if you’re dipped in gold
You are not on paper
You are not a copy
You’re so, you’re so..so thick, so thick

You feelin' it?

Frenchmen Creates Pill to make Farts Smell Like Chocolate ?
A Frenchman may have come up with the perfect solution to one of life’s major problems after he claimed to have invented a pill that makes bodily gases smell like roses and chocolate.

According to the National.com
The 65-year-old inventor Christian Poincheval from north-western France has added a chocolate flavour to his repertoire of scented pills which are all designed to make the smell of flatulence much more pleasant.
Just in time for the festive season Poincheval has added a new line to his array of pills – “The Father Christmas fart pill that gives your farts the scent of chocolate”.
“It’s a nice present for the festive season,” he told The Local on Tuesday. “There will be a real need for these pills over Christmas.”
Poincheval, who has been involved in homeopathy, claims the all-natural herbal medicine not only facilitates intestinal transit, but also neutralises the odour of the gas let out.

According to the website that sells the pills, which also come in rose and violet scents, the herb mixture also helps reduce bloating.
He said he began developing them six years ago after a rather disagreeable dinner with friends.
“We had just come back from Switzerland and we were eating a lot with our friends and the smell from the flatulence was really terrible. We couldn’t breathe so me and friend decided something had to be done,” Poincheval said.
“When we were vegetarian we noticed that our gas smelt like vegetables, like the odour from a cow pat, but when we started eating meat, the smell of the flatulence became much disagreeable,” he said.
“We needed to invent something that made them smell nicer”

Darren Wilson Resigns From Ferguson PD
Darren Wilson, the officer who dodged charges for fatally shooting unarmed teen Mike Brown, has reportedly resigned from the Ferguson police department.
Reports the New York Times:
The officer cleared on Monday by a grand jury in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager resigned Saturday night from the Police Department in Ferguson, Mo., according to The Associated Press.
The resignation of the officer, Darren Wilson, capped a day of protests and an organized march over the fatal shooting of the teenager, Michael Brown, in August. Officer Wilson, who had been with the force for three years, cited security fears in his resignation letter, which was released by one of his lawyers, Neil Bruntrager, according to the news service.
Since Wilson was cleared by the grand jury, there have been protests in Ferguson and throughout the nation. Since this 500,000$ has been raised for him!
Has justice been served?

St. Louis Rams Start Game With Their "Hands Up" …But their White Fans don’t look IMPRESSED!
Before the St. Louis Rams shutout the Oakland Raiders Yesterday 52-0 in Missouri, five members of the team walked out of the tunnel with their hands up.  It was an impactful show of support in front of thousands of fans of slain teen Michael Brown, his family and the protestors who are angry with the Grand Jury's decision to not prosecute former officer Darren Wilson.

I applaud them! But from the looks of some of the Rams white fans they don’t look to impressed!

Prince Is Fed Up With Your Hashtags & Retweets; Deletes All Social Media Accounts
It looks like someone’s gotten Prince upset. The rock star had a very brief and irregular stint on social media, which may have come to a sudden end. In what’s believed to have been a reaction to the Mike Brown situation in Ferguson, nothing has been confirmed.

The Star Tribune speculates that Prince may just be preparing a new project, and just didn’t feel the need for social media. However, the extreme nature of purple swag champ’s distaste for social media was made evident in his deletion of his material on his YouTube channel. Luckily for us, his tripped out lyric video for “FUNKNROLL” is still available for your viewing pleasure.
Hopefully the music legend is just upset and will make his way back to our favorite social networks. In the interim, take a look at the last time Prince dealt with a bit of conflict. ‘Art Official Age‘ is available now.

Birdman Accused of Bouncing Checks, Hit With Lien Over Miami Condo
The negative press surrounding Birdman’s (real name Bryan Williams) financial’s continue. The 45-year-old founder of Cash Money Records, has been hit with another lien over his Miami condo and the condo association is accusing him of bouncing checks.

According to the court documents, on November 18th, The Ivy Condo Association filed a lien against Birdman claiming he has failed to pay the fees associated with the Miami pad. They say he has failed to pay them 15 months of maintenance fees for a total of 9k+, along with paying fees late for 6 months. They also claim to even have received a bounced check by Birdman.

The grand total on the lien — including their legal fees — is $12,447.28. The lien will continue to grow with interest.
In the grand scheme of things, 12k would seem like nothing to someone who is estimated to be worth close to 100 mill — but the music producer was allegedly was also recently hit with another lien by Zankey Construction Company over work they claim was done on the mega-mansion he is currently in the midst of remodeling. [FYI: Birdman purchased the 9-bedroom, 17-bath mansion with 25 foot ceilings and features a below ground pool, outdoor pool with cabana, a movie theater, gym, spa and even a in-house massage room back in 2012.]

On November 4th, the construction company filed the $1,041,750.32 lien in Miami, accusing him of not paying them, despite them completing the work on his home.

SPOTTED: Tyler Perry's Pregnant(?) Girlfriend Gelila Bekele Grabs A Bite To Eat In NYC
Tyler Perry’s on again-off again model girlfriend Gelila Bekele was spotted on a morning run in NYC.  And she seemed to avoid the cameras once she noticed someone may have noticed her.
The mom-to-be (or mother) stopped for breakfast at Dean and Deluca. And based on the pictures, we can’t tell if she’s still pregnant or if she already gave birth...Was it a boy or a girl? So many questions....
Gelila was reportedly 7-months pregnant back in September, so we're right around the time she would/should be giving birth.
We wonder if she and Tyler spent Thanksgiving together, since she's in NYC and Tyler calls Atlanta home...
Tyler posted himself with a turkey, likely in his hometown of Atlanta. He posted the pic above saying, "I'm giving thanks to all things, even if this doesn't turn out so good... lol. Happy Thanksgiving. May God bless you this holiday season."
What do we think...did they spend Thanksgiving together? Gurlll!!!

Reginae Carter is now Sweet 16!  And the daughter of Lil Wayne & Toya Wright had a blowout bash which was exactly what you would expect from the Young Money Princess.  Check out how a daughter of hip hop royalty gets lavished on her birthday: Cars (yes, plural), celebrity appearances and tons of birthday outfit changes...

After stepping out of her carriage in a glitzy gown upon her arrival, the turn up was quite real tfor the rest of the night.  Reginae Carter had ATL going up on a Saturday...and here's an inside look at her winter white Sweet 16 party!

Nicki Minaj made a special surprise appearance for her fellow Young Money chick's party.  She performed a few songs and posed it up with her biggest fan, Riley Burruss.  Clearly Nicki gave zero F's that this was an all white party since chick showed up in all black.

Reginae rocked her personalized cape and crop top and skirt and boots as she posed it up with friends like Todd Tucker's daughter Kaela.

Rasheeda got in on the pic action too.
And the party ended with Nae walking off with her pops Weezy.
Speaking of Weezy, he snapped pics with Kim Zolciak's daughter Brielle Biermann and other folks.
While Nae partied with the other kids, including kids of the rich and famous like Diddy's son Christian Combs:
Singer Jacob Lattimore was there to party.
Chick loves herself a princess dress.
And a BIG cake...like her parents do for her seemingly every year.
Meanwhile, her mama Toya Wright kept it chic and pretty while posing it up with her friends Quad, Kandi Burruss and Rasheeda
Of course Tiny was in the mix, who came with her daughter Zonnique and the OMG Girlz.
Kandi brought daughter Riley and stepdaughter Kaela along.
And her producer husband Todd was working the big bash, so says Kandi.  It's unclear if this bash was filmed for a docuseries or reality show of some sort, or if he was simply producing the event itself.
Toya's good friend and makeup artist Latasha Wright was there posing it up with Kim Porter and others.
Reginae' grandmother Ms. Nita and uncles flew in from New Orleans to party it up with Nae.
Loving Toya's look.
Fantasia showed up with her daughter Zion and her an Kendall, rocking a T Shanell Designs dress.
Well show off your new bod then Fanny.
Y'all know Kirk wasn't far if Rasheeda was there.
And baby Carter had her umbrella as a salute to her original hometown of New Orleans and the Second Line.
And Nae even had a full on Moschino look for her daytime wear before the party.  As for her gifts:
Not one, but TWO new rides.  Her stepdad Memphitz, mom Toya and papa Weezy gifted her with a white Ferrari and a red BMW SUV.  Sheesh!
What's going to go down for hr 18th birthday!?

I see the have Grade A rump roast at that cattle ranch.

How Bout' That Busta Rhymes Busting His A$$ at Webster Hall!

Busta Rhymes Suffers Minor Head Injury After Falling Off Stage
Busta Rhymes has been unbelievably supportive of Conglomerate artist O.T. Genasis' surprise hit "CoCo", but his overwhelming hype may have got the better of him at a recent New York show. While headbanging to the rapper's buzzing track at a recent Webster Hall show, Busta fell of stage, hitting his head in the process.
The rapper emerged from the crowd with a gash in his head, and while he seemed to be alright, he did not reappear onstage after his fall. Thankfully, Bussa Buss took to Twitter later on to reassure fans that he's in perfectly good health, as well as shout out O.T. Genasis for making a record powerful enough to make him to "bust his ass"
You can read Busta's tweets and watch footage of his spill below.

LOL!!!! Feel Better Bussa Bus!
