#NewMusic from Ne-Yo Releases Country-Inspired Album “Highway 79”

Three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning singer and songwriter NE-YO has officially released his 10th studio album, Highway 79. Available now on all major streaming platforms via Compound Entertainment, the 11-track project marks a significant stylistic shift for the veteran hitmaker, serving as his first country-inspired album.
To bring Highway 79 to life, NE-YO collaborated with a formidable roster of country songwriters and creative voices, including Luke Laird, Charles Kelley (Lady A), BRELAND, Rhett Akins, Chuck Harmony, and Tayla Parx. The album aims to highlight the natural intersection between country storytelling and R&B soul.
“If R&B and country had a baby… it would be this album,” NE-YO stated regarding the project’s sonic direction.
The album features a string of previously released singles that introduced fans to his new sound, including “Simple Things,” “Ms. Tundra,” and “Thinking What I’m Thinking.” Adding to the release week momentum, the album’s breakout track, “Up Out & Gone,” officially secured the No. 1 spot at the R&B radio format this week.
STREAM HERE:
The release of Highway 79 coincides with a highly active promotional and touring schedule for the artist:
National Broadcasts: NE-YO recently performed at One Times Square in New York City for America250’s Giving 4th Broadcast Benefit Show alongside Mary J. Blige and Brad Paisley. He also joined an all-star lineup—including Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, and Boyz II Men—for Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash.
The ‘Nights Like This’ Tour: NE-YO is currently co-headlining a 57-city global tour alongside Akon. Following a successful run across Europe that began in Dublin this April, the U.S. leg of the tour officially kicked off on July 10, aligning perfectly with the album’s rollout. The tour is slated to conclude on August 21 in Los Angeles.
The arrival of his 10th studio album serves as the capstone to a landmark year for NE-YO. Earlier in 2026, he celebrated the 20th anniversary of his groundbreaking debut album, In My Own Words, which launched him into global superstardom with the quadruple-platinum hit “So Sick.”
Over the past two decades, NE-YO has amassed more than 23 billion global streams, secured five No. 1 singles in the UK, and built a deeply versatile catalog. With Highway 79, he adds country to a musical repertoire that already spans R&B, pop, soul, dance, and reggae, proving his continued evolution as a legacy songwriter.

“This video is exactly how I’ve been feeling lately,” Remy Ma said. “I wanted to be back outside with my girls, laughing, dancing, playing games, talking trash, and just enjoying the summer. ‘Put Em On’ is about good energy, good vibes, and celebrating each other.”
Hendrix said the goal was to create an authentic atmosphere rather than a traditional music video set.
“We wanted it to feel less like a set and more like you had been invited to the best summer kickback with Remy and her friends,” the director said.
The release arrives during a busy stretch for Remy Ma, who recently starred in Lifetime’s Don’t Trust the Girls Upstairs, reunited with French Montana and Max B on “Ever Since U Left Me (Big Bronx Remix),” and generated more than 90,000 comments on Instagram with her W.Y.F.L. freestyle.

#RIPHalWilliams Sanford and Son and 227 star, dies at 91

Hal Williams died on Wednesday at 91.
He was known for roles on Sanford and Son, The Waltons and 227, alongside Marla Gibbs and Regina King.
Williams died of natural causes while at home in California, according to his representative.
Hal Williams, best known for his roles as Officer “Smitty” Smith on Sanford and Son and Lester Jenkins on 227, has died. He was 91.
That the actor died on Wednesday morning of natural causes, Williams’ representative told Deadline. He was at his home in Rancho Mirage, Calif., at the time of his death after recently suffering from some health issues.
Reps for Williams did not immediately respond when Entertainment Weekly reached out for comment.
Jackée Harry, who starred opposite Williams on 227 alongside Marla Gibbs and Regina King, paid tribute to the later actor in a post shared on Instagram.
“What a gentleman,” she captioned a photo of her and Williams. “Hal always carried himself with grace, and he always had me laughing. I’ll never forget him telling me to trade in my little Mercedes because, ‘You’re a star now!’”
She continued, “He was also a stand-up guy who believed Black fathers on TV should be loving, present, and compassionate. He helped show America what that looked like. I’m so lucky to have worked closely with him. Rest in peace, my dear friend.”
Williams was born on Dec. 14, 1934, in Columbus, Ohio, where he worked as a postal worker and corrections officer before moving to Hollywood in 1968 to pursue an acting career.
“I sat down after getting divorced and said, ‘What do I really want to try to do before the maker comes and gets me?’ And it was acting. So, I took the plunge and drove to California in 48 hours,” Williams told Get TV of deciding to move after his divorce that same year. “I gave myself three years.”
And Williams got to work. His early roles included appearances in ’70s sitcoms such as The Jimmy Stewart Show and That Girl before he landed the recurring role as friendly neighborhood cop Smitty on Sanford and Son. He appeared in 20 episodes of the beloved sitcom, paired up with Howard Platt’s Officer “Hoppy” Hopkins, who was often the butt of the joke.
“They used to tell us they didn’t have anything to do that week and to go make up some lines,” Williams recalled during a 2022 interview with Tell-Tale TV. “So I would go with Howard to a hot dog joint or a hamburger place. And we sit in the parking lot. He would want to know how to incorporate Black slang, Black jargon, and stuff.”
They’d take what they came up with back to the producers, who’d incorporate it into their scenes. “That was a fun show,” he added.
Williams reprised his role as Smitty in five episodes of NBC’s Sanford spinoff in 1980, which also saw Redd Foxx return to the titular role.
Williams landed the main role as Lester Jenkins on the NBC sitcom 227 in 1985, playing husband to Gibbs‘ Mary Jenkins and father of King’s Brenda. The show ran for five seasons, ending on May 6, 1990.
Williams other notable roles included Harley Foster on The Waltons, Lester DeMott on the ABC sitcom On the Rocks, and Sergeant Ted Ross on the CBS sitcom Private Benjamin.
His final series regular role was on the 1993 short-lived Fox comedy The Sinbad Show. Additional TV credits include episodes of L.A. Law, Moesha, Moonlight, Mr. Mayor, The Mayor, and Parks and Recreation.

R. Kelly asks President Trump For Shot At Freedom
R. Kelly asks Trump to commute his 30-year sentence, claiming his life is in danger behind bars in North Carolina
R. Kelly is banking on President Trump for his freedom, filing a formal clemency petition after claiming his life is in danger behind bars.
His attorneys filed the request with the Department of Justice’s Office of the Pardon Attorney this week, and it is now pending, according to CBS Chicago. Kelly is serving a 2021 racketeering and sex trafficking sentence from New York alongside a 2022 child pornography sentence from Chicago.
Kelly was convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking for running a scheme that sexually abused women and girls for years, including his own goddaughter.
The Chicago case added convictions for producing child sexual abuse images and enticing minors, stacking more time onto his sentence. Without a commutation, Kelly is not due out until 2045, when he would be nearly 79 years old.
This is not Kelly’s first shot at freedom, since his legal team has pushed for a new trial, bond and emergency release over the past year.
Every attempt has failed, including a rejection from the Supreme Court and a judge who said she lacked the power to free him early. Kelly’s formal petition marks the first time his request has gone through the official Pardon Attorney channels rather than informal appeals to the president.
Kelly’s team claims prison officials at his North Carolina facility recruited an Aryan Brotherhood member to kill him and silence him. He says he was moved to solitary confinement and given a medication overdose that caused blood clots and landed him in the hospital for surgery.
Kelly’s lawyers point to a declaration from an Aryan Brotherhood leader as evidence for the murder plot claim. Federal prosecutors pushed back hard, accusing Kelly of trying to portray himself as a victim instead of taking responsibility for his crimes.
Government lawyers have called the entire story a fanciful conspiracy with zero evidence behind it. Kelly’s push comes as Trump leans into a clemency streak this year. He already commuted Gangster Disciples founder Larry Hoover’s sentence, a precedent Kelly’s lawyers are banking on, according to ABC7 Chicago.
Kelly’s attorney, Beau Brindley, said last year that Kelly does not have the time to go through the normal channels.

Craig Melvin targeted in Today show security breach

A man was arrested this morning after breaching security at NBC’s Today show in New York City and making his way backstage, where he allegedly lunged at host Craig Melvin and directed a racial slur at him. The incident happened around 9 a.m. Eastern Time and was not captured during the live broadcast.
The man entered the building through the publicly accessible plaza area and slipped past security without being stopped. Once inside, he began asking for Al Roker, one of the show’s longest-standing and most recognizable figures. When he was unable to locate Roker, his focus shifted to Craig Melvin. He followed Melvin into a restricted backstage area near the dressing rooms before anyone intervened.
The fact that an unauthorized individual traveled that deep inside the building undetected is what has left NBC staff demanding answers.
Once inside the restricted area, the man allegedly lunged at Melvin while directing a racial slur at him. Staff and security responded quickly, intervening before the situation could go further. The intruder was detained and arrested at the scene. Nobody was physically hurt.
Approximately 15 minutes after the incident, both Craig Melvin and Al Roker returned to air as if nothing had happened. Neither of them acknowledged the encounter during the broadcast. A photo taken inside the studio shortly after shows Melvin surrounded by several people, though no footage of the incident from the live broadcast exists.
The Today show had not issued a public statement as of the time of this report.

Supporters rally as KevOnStage draws online debate over resurfaced remarks about masturbation

Christian comedian and influencer KevOnStage has found himself back at the center of online discourse, this time over a resurfaced clip that has people debating everything from his humor to the legitimacy of his faith.
As The Jasmine Brand detailed, the comedian, whose real name is Kevin Fredericks, began trending online as fans and critics went back and forth about how his content has shifted over the years.
According to the outlet, it’s unclear what originally lit the fuse, but the conversation gained steam when a user resurfaced a months-old moment from Kev’s “Here’s The Thing” podcast, co-hosted by Angel Laketa Moore, known online as ThatChickAngel. In the candid clip, Kev spoke openly about masturbation, framing it as a normal part of life.
“I don’t think masturbation is a sin no more,” he said in the recording, adding that he considers it “a healthy way to express yourself and learn about your body.” As shared by The Jasmine Brand, some critics also took issue with the revelation that KevOnStage is a stage name rather than his legal name.
Rather than address the noise head-on, Kev leaned into humor. In a video, he recounted a lighthearted text exchange, sharing that comedian Spice Adams had messaged him and Tony Baker with a playful warning to “be careful with these fruit and vegetables out here.” He had also posted a more reflective note amid the chatter, writing, “We were never meant to have access to this many people’s thoughts at once.”
Kev poked fun at the backlash in a separate video, sarcastically agreeing with a post from a critic—who happened to be him—insisting that Christians should tune him out entirely.
“Christians do not listen to KevOnStage. Listen to your pastor. Read your Bible,” he echoed mockingly in the video, riffing on the idea that he’s “just a comedian” and “not even that funny.” He jokingly piled on the critiques aimed at him, quipping that he’s “just like a dad who loves his wife and kids” and “lukewarm at best,” before landing on the punchline, “Who needs Ja Rule at a time like this?”
However, jokes aside, KevOnStage shared a bit of vulnerability. He wrote on Threads, “One day I’m gone talk about the toll it takes on your mental health to be a trending topic on the internet.”
The strongest response, however, came from those in Kev’s corner. A wave of supporters, including several notable names in entertainment, rallied to defend him. Actress Yvette Nicole Brown wrote that Kev and his wife are “good people,” adding, “I don’t know why folks keep trying to pile on, but they will continue to fail.”
Media personality Nina Parker echoed the sentiment, calling the couple among “the nicest, most genuine and generous people” she’s encountered in two decades in the industry, while dismissing the “weekly witch hunts” as tired.
Others found the entire controversy overblown. Writer Demetria Lucas quipped that she’d feared a far bigger scandal, noting that “a grown man alone and pleasuring himself ain’t no news at 11.” For now, the discourse rolls on, though Kev’s fanbase appears firmly unmoved.

Spain vs. Argentina: 2026 FIFA World Cup final is set

The 2026 FIFA World Cup final matchup is set!
Argentina reached the final courtesy of their dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over England in the semifinal, as Inter Miami CF superstar Lionel Messi delivered a pair of late assists to spur the historic victory.
Meanwhile, Spain downed 2018 champions France, 2-0, in the other semifinal to book their place in Sunday's final.
The matchup between the top two-ranked teams in the world marks the first time the reigning Copa America winners will face the reigning European champions in a World Cup final.
Since beginning the tournament with a shock scoreless draw against Cape Verde, Spain have been utterly dominant throughout their run to the final.
The fun began with a 4-0 rout of Saudi Arabia, followed by a Group H-clinching 1-0 triumph over Uruguay. Then, in the knockouts, Spain dispatched Austria in the Round of 32, Portugal in the Round of 16, Belgium in the quarterfinal and France in the semifinal.
Most impressively, they've done it all while conceding the fewest goals of any World Cup team, giving up just a single goal against Belgium.
Led by 19-year-old FC Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal, former Ballon d'Or winner Rodri and leading goalscorer Mikel Oyarzabal, Spain will now aim to lift their second World Cup trophy in their second-ever trip to the final.
Argentina have enjoyed a perfect run to the tournament final, securing seven consecutive wins to return to the sport's biggest match.
It all kicked off with Messi's first-ever World Cup hat trick in a 3-0 victory over Algeria, followed by group-stage triumphs over Austria and Jordan.
Once the knockouts rolled around, La Albiceleste would not be denied, sensationally pulling out all the stops in a 3-2 extra-time victory over Cape Verde in the Round of 32 before ousting Egypt by the same scoreline and pushing past Switzerland, 3-1, in another 120-minute contest.
Then, the reigning champions snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the semifinal with a stunning 2-1 comeback in the final minutes against England.
Along the way, Messi has become the tournament's all-time leading goalscorer (21) and assist provider (12) while leading the Golden Boot race with 8g/4a during his unbelievable campaign.
Now, can Messi and Argentina join Italy (1934, '38) and Brazil (1958, '62) as the only teams ever to win back-to-back World Cup titles?
WNBA Star Chelsea Gray Exposes Racist DM, Hilton Grand Vacations Employee Gets Fired
Hilton Grand Vacations has fired an employee who sent a racist direct message to Las Vegas Aces star Chelsea Gray following the team’s blowout loss to the Indiana Fever. The company confirmed the firing on Tuesday, July 14, two days after Gray received the slur following Las Vegas’ 109-75 defeat.
Gray exposed the message on her Instagram Story the day before, sharing a screenshot of the sender calling her an “ugly ass [n-word].” The four-time WNBA champion pushed back against those who dismiss the harassment players routinely face. “People act like we just make this sh*t up,” Gray wrote. “And the audacity to tell us as athletes to ‘shut up and dribble.’”

Chelsea Gray shares racial abuse she received following the Aces’ Sunday night loss to the Indiana Fever.
This comes after Alyssa Thomas also spoke out about the issue.
Social media users soon began examining the account and linking its owner to Hilton Grand Vacations through posts that tagged the company. The online attention quickly moved beyond another anonymous troll account as users circulated a LinkedIn profile that appeared to identify the sender and his employer.
This is his LinkedIn! The coward deactivated his IG already

Hilton Grand Vacations initially told The New York Times that it was “aware of the allegations” before announcing that the employee had been dismissed.
“The person responsible for posting this information is no longer with the company,” Hilton Grand Vacations said in a follow-up statement. “His behavior was in violation of multiple company policies and does not reflect our company’s values in any way.”
The Aces also issued a forceful statement supporting Gray and praising Hilton Grand Vacations for acting quickly. “The Las Vegas Aces organization unequivocally condemns the hateful and racist messages recently directed at Chelsea Gray,” the team said, per USA Today. “No athlete should ever face this type of abuse for playing the game they love.”
The organization added that it does not tolerate hate speech “online, in the arena, or anywhere within our community” and offered its “unwavering support” to players across the WNBA facing racism and harassment.
Gray was not the only WNBA player targeted over the weekend. Per the Times, Minnesota Lynx guard Courtney Williams received a hateful Instagram audio message after recording 12 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday’s 90-85 victory over the New York Liberty. The sender blamed Williams for finishing with only one assist, which reportedly cost the sender a player-prop wager.
The incidents come amid the WNBA’s explosive growth, which has brought larger audiences and intensified online rivalries—but also more racist abuse, threats and harassment directed disproportionately at Black, queer and female players.
New Stan Lee Documentary Claims Former Manager Swindled Him Out of $21M
Stan Lee's legacy is once again in the spotlight—but this time, it's not because of Marvel. A new documentary claims the comic book legend spent his final years being systematically swindled by his own manager, alleging that millions of dollars disappeared while Lee continued to make high-profile convention appearances.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Stan Lee: The Final Chapter, premiering July 23 at San Diego Comic-Con before hitting VOD on July 28, uses years of behind-the-scenes footage to paint a troubling portrait of the comic book icon's last chapter.
Directed by Lee's former assistant Jon Bolerjack, the documentary zeroes in on Lee's relationship with former road manager Max Anderson, who allegedly exerted near-total control over Lee’s public engagements and helped arrange his medical and financial services.
Anderson brushes him off with a blunt response: "Not enough. It's never enough, Stan."
The film argues that the answer was far from the truth. Producer Alex Barajas, who worked on Lee's merchandising team, says Anderson's trusted circle routinely counted stacks of cash collected from autograph sessions and appearances before handing everything over to him.
"There was no oversight," Barajas says. "We were just handed tons and tons of cash and told to count it, and we just handed it over to Max."
Former business development manager Jerry Blank recalls a similar process, saying once the money was counted, what happened afterward was out of his hands.
One of the documentary's most heartbreaking moments comes when Bolerjack recalls Lee quietly asking him how much money he'd actually earned from convention appearances. "He just had no idea," Bolerjack says.
After Lee explained that Anderson kept telling him the totals weren't ready, Bolerjack says he was stunned: "I know Max knows how much money he made. I was in the room when they were counting it. I know it's written down."
In another scene, Lee himself admits he couldn't make sense of his finances, recalling Anderson moving money between accounts and saying, "I'd like you to just write down what you did so I'd understand it. But he hasn't done that."
The allegations land after years of courtroom battles surrounding Lee's estate. Last year, Anderson was sentenced to one year and one day in prison after failing to report roughly $1.2 million in income connected to his work for Lee.
Months earlier, Lee's daughter, J.C. Lee, settled a lawsuit accusing Anderson of siphoning more than $21 million from her father's autograph signings and appearance fees. Anderson has denied handling the cash generated at those events.
The documentary also arrives during another busy stretch for Lee's legacy. AI company ElevenLabs recently announced a licensing deal allowing fans to recreate Lee's voice and likeness through artificial intelligence, while actress Pam Grier made headlines by saying Lee and other Marvel creators drew inspiration from her when developing characters like Misty Knight and Monica Rambeau.

Michael Jackson Signed ‘Simpsons’ Script From Banned Episode Sells at Auction

*A script bearing Michael Jackson’s signature sold this month at Propstore’s Animation Art Live Auction.
The document is tied to his guest appearance on “The Simpsons,” and the auction house valued the lot between £3,000 and £6,000 (about $4,000 to $6,000 USD). According to MJ Vibe, Jackson signed the cover of the shooting script for “Stark Raving Dad.” The episode opened Season 3 on September 19, 1991. Buyers also received an original cel, painted by hand, depicting Homer alongside the character Leon Kompowsky.
A rare table draft from November 8, 1990 rounded out the package. Sam Simon, who co-developed the series, held all three pieces until his estate consigned them.
In 2019, the episode vanished from TV airings, streaming services, and physical releases. The decision came after “Leaving Neverland,” the Dan Reed documentary centered on Wade Robson and James Safechuck. Both men say Jackson abused them sexually when they were boys.
Jackson initiated his cameo himself. He loved the show, phoned creator Matt Groening, and asked to appear. His record deal blocked an official credit, so the show billed him as John Jay Smith. He voiced Leon, a hospital patient certain he is the King of Pop. Kipp Lennon sang the character’s musical moments. Jackson also composed “Happy Birthday Lisa,” also known as “Lisa, It’s Your Birthday.”
For collectors, the script offers a rare connection to one of the show’s most memorable celebrity cameos.

50 Cent Threatens to Pull Back His Shreveport Film Empire After Claiming Some Locals Do Not Support Progress
Shreveport projects led by 50 Cent are facing their clearest public sign of tension after the entertainment mogul suggested that resistance inside the Louisiana city could force him to reduce his plans.
According to 50 Cent’s Instagram, he delivered a blunt message without identifying the people, negotiations, or specific development that prompted his frustration.
“There are people in Shreveport that just don’t want things to get better,” 50 Cent wrote. “I only make deals that make sense. I’m gonna have to pull back on the Red River! Peace.”
The warning quickly raised questions about whether “pull back” meant abandoning Shreveport projects entirely or stepping away from additional opportunities connected to the city’s Red River Entertainment District. The rapper did not announce a complete departure, terminate a publicly known agreement, or explain who allegedly “don’t want things to get better.”
Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux responded with confidence instead of panic. Arceneaux said he had not spoken with 50 Cent following the post but planned to reach out after “things cool off.” The mayor also acknowledged that there was a “great deal of pressure” surrounding the scale of the mogul’s plans.
“I consider Mr. Jackson a man of good faith, and therefore I think he is going to keep his commitments,” Arceneaux said.
The mayor said direct communication between 50 Cent and city leadership would be necessary to identify the disagreement and determine how it could be resolved.
“I think this is something that requires some direct communications, if not between Mr. Jackson and myself, then between senior members of each team,” Arceneaux said. “And we’ll figure out where we need to go and what the issue is. And how to resolve it.”
That response reveals why the situation is bigger than one frustrated Instagram post. The public record suggests that neither 50 Cent nor Shreveport has an easy reason to walk away from the partnership. The Shreveport projects involve property, long term lease agreements, venue construction, production infrastructure, public oversight, and performance based state funding.
Red River Radio reported that 50 Cent had been discussing possible leases within the Red River Entertainment District. Those conversations appear to be separate from several larger commitments that are already moving forward, including the redevelopment of the former Stageworks facility, improvements to the former Millennium Studios campus, and construction of the immersive G Dome venue.
That distinction could become important. His statement may be aimed at Red River negotiations instead of the entire G Unit development strategy. Until 50 Cent or the city identifies the dispute, claims that he is completely leaving Shreveport would go beyond what has been confirmed.
According to KSLA News 12, the post arrived less than a month after 50 Cent and his team held a June 17 groundbreaking ceremony for the G Dome. During that event, he predicted that Shreveport would look “totally new” within five years.
KSLA also reported that plans involving the Red River District had been placed on hold in March after inspectors discovered a need for major repairs. No source has confirmed that those repair issues caused 50 Cent’s latest warning, but the timing adds another layer to the questions surrounding the Shreveport projects.
The financial commitments are significant. According to Louisiana Economic Development, G Unit announced plans in January to invest more than $124 million through a multiphase redevelopment of three entertainment venues in Northwest Louisiana.
Louisiana Economic Development also entered an agreement that could provide up to $50 million in performance based funding for eligible infrastructure and modernization expenses. According to the agency, the state money is connected to economic impact requirements, local business participation, and the completion of qualifying improvements.
That arrangement gives the public a stake in what happens next. It also means the Shreveport projects will ultimately be judged by completed construction, entertainment production, local contracts, job opportunities, and measurable activity rather than promotional announcements alone.
Louisiana Economic Development cited an economic impact study commissioned by G Unit that projected $18.8 billion in statewide impact, more than 6,000 supported jobs, and approximately $300 million in wages over 20 years. Those numbers are projections from a company commissioned study, not guaranteed results, which makes continued oversight and transparency especially important.
The broader partnership began taking shape when 50 Cent brought his production company into the former Millennium Studios property. According to Red River Radio, Arceneaux and 50 Cent formally signed the lease for the city owned studio property in April 2024.
The Shreveport City Council later approved a 30 year Stageworks lease connected to plans for a “state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue.” During the council process, 50 Cent described the development as a “legacy project.”
He has also repeatedly promoted the idea that “all roads lead to Shreveport,” turning the city into a central part of his film, television, music, and live entertainment expansion. That message became more believable after the launch of Humor & Harmony Weekend.
According to the City of Shreveport, the 2024 festival attracted thousands of visitors, included comedy, music, sports, and automotive events, and helped fill downtown hotels. The city said multiple events sold out and local businesses experienced increased customer traffic during the weekend.
Those results help explain why Arceneaux remains optimistic. Shreveport has already experienced a sample of the tourism and cultural attention that 50 Cent’s platform can bring. At the same time, 50 Cent has invested enough money, time, and public credibility that an unresolved dispute could disrupt more than a single event.
The next development will depend on what “pull back” actually means. It could signal the end of new Red River negotiations, an attempt to pressure decision makers, or a deeper problem affecting the entire partnership. For now, the mayor believes the central commitments remain secure, while 50 Cent has made it clear that future deals must continue making business sense.
