#RHOA: Kelli Ferrell Accused of Refusing to Allow Ex Mark Visits With Their Kids After Hiring Phaedra Parks
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kelli Ferrell’s ex-husband, Mark Ferrell, is accusing her of refusing to allow him his visitation with their children, Us Weekly can exclusively report. The Bravo star adamantly denied the claims.
On December 9, Mark filed a lawsuit against Kelli, 40, seeking to modify his child support payments and the current custody arrangement. He also asked that the Bravo star be found in contempt of court.
Kelli and Mark were married from 2011 to 2022. The exes share three minor kids: Chance Ferrell, born in 2012, and twins Chasiti Ferrell and Chelsi Ferrell, born in 2015.
In his complaint, Mark explained that Kelli was awarded primary custody of the kids in the divorce. Mark was granted visitation every other weekend. The exes share joint legal custody.
During the marriage, Kelli opened a restaurant named Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles. Mark also worked on the business. The RHOA star was awarded all interest in the restaurant in the divorce.
Mark said the court improperly calculated his income as $19,847 per month when determining how would pay $3,991 per month in child support. He said his income is $0 since Kelli was awarded the restaurant.
“[Mark] has had no income since his business was taken as a part of the divorce,” his petition read. Mark asked that his child support obligations be modified since he has no income.
His lawyer also claimed Kelli “has refused to allow [Mark] to exercise visitation with his children at all throughout the entirety of the one-year period since the divorce decree was entered.”
Mark’s complaint asked that the court grant him more visitation time, “given the excessive amount of time that he has not been able to exercise visitation.” His suit also asked the court to strip Kelli of her power to make final decisions regarding their kids, due to her “history and practice of alienation.”
In addition, he requested that Kelli be found in contempt for refusing to allow him his visitation time.
Kelli’s rep tells Us, “Kelli finds the claims in her ex’s recent filing both surprising and inaccurate. At no point has she prevented him from seeing their children, and she has consistently complied with court orders while prioritizing their best interests.”
The rep added, “While Kelli has quietly endured her ex-husband’s frequent irate behavior since the divorce, her concerns are — and always have been — the safety of her children and herself. This has been the case despite the fact that her ex-husband has not paid child support since the divorce.”
“Kelli is confident the facts will speak for themselves in court,” the rep ended.

According to TMZ, Romania’s Constanța Court of Appeal upheld an appeal on Thursday (December 18) to sentence the Pittsburgh native to nine months in jail, overturning a previous ruling that sought to merely fine him 3,000 Romanian lei (roughly $700).
While Wiz himself has yet to comment on the sentence, sources close to the 38-year-old say that “nothing is set in stone just yet” and his team are “currently in the process of appealing the sentence.”
Court documents reveal that Wiz was convicted for “unlawful possession of dangerous drugs for personal use,” with the Eastern European country imposing notoriously strict punishments for illegal substances.
The Taylor Gang rapper was arrested in July 2024 following his performance at the Beach Please! Festival in Costinești, Romania, where he smoked what appeared to be a joint onstage while dancing to Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg‘s “The Next Episode.”
Local officials said at the time that Wiz had “unlawfully possessed, for his own consumption, the quantity of 18.53 grams of cannabis and a cigarette containing cannabis.”
The rapper apologized for the incident shortly after, writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Last night’s show was amazing. I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage. They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time.”

Kimmel then pointed out that the number adds up to almost two joints per hour while Wiz is awake, leading the rapper to joke: “That’s not bad at all!”

That’s important because “Avatar” films are known not for fiery opening weekends, but rather for their unparalleled box office staying power. The original 2009 epic “Avatar” debuted to $77 million domestically and remained in first place for seven consecutive weekends, eventually climbing to $760 million in North America and $2.92 billion worldwide. Not to be outdone, the sequel also managed to hold onto the No. 1 spot for seven weekends and ended up earning $688 million domestically and $2.3 billion globally.
“Avatar: Fire and Ash” debuted in line with projections at the international box office with $257 million, bringing its global tally to $345 million. That’s one of the biggest worldwide debuts of the year while also registering dramatically behind the second film’s $435 million global debut.

Heading into the weekend, Disney and 20th Century’s “Avatar 3” was projected to earn $90 million to $105 million in its domestic debut. Based on initial ticket sales, the otherworldly adventure appears to be experiencing diminishing returns. It’s unclear, however, what exactly diminishing returns will look like for the follow-up to two of the highest-grossing films in history. “Avatar” adventures carry enormous budgets, costing at least $350 million to produce and millions more to market. Cameron once said that “The Way of Water” needed to become one of the top-grossing releases of all time to break even. (It did.) The newest “Avatar” doesn’t necessarily need to surpass the $2 billion mark to be commercially successful, but it’s safe to assume that “Fire and Ash” needs to become a box office behemoth to justify its massive price tag.
Premium screens, including Imax and 3D, accounted for a significant 66% of ticket sales. Meanwhile, 38% of opening weekend crowds were 25 or younger, signaling the franchise isn’t just appealing to adults. “Avatar: Fire and Ash” has several other factors that’ll work in its favor, including an “A” grade on CinemaScore exit polls, repeat viewing over the upcoming Christmas stretch (which is the most popular time of year for moviegoing) and, of course, Cameron’s unmatched track record. Cameron is the only filmmaker with three movies to generate more than $2 billion, the other being “Titanic.” Although a daunting 3-hour-plus runtime has never deterred audiences from “Avatar” installments,” the newest film’s three hours and 17 minute length does limit the number of showtimes per day. And while “Avatar: The Way of Water” was plagued by endless release date delays, those postponements ended up contributing to pent-up demand over 13 years. The third entry is arriving a comparatively short three years after its predecessor.
“Openings are not what the ‘Avatar’ movies are about. It’s what they do after they open that made them the No. 2 and three biggest films of all time,” says David A. Gross, who runs the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research. “It will be several weeks before we really know how well the film is doing.”
“Avatar: Fire and Ash” loomed large over domestic box office charts, but it wasn’t the only new nationwide release. In a surprising finish, Angel Studios’ animated biblical musical “David” emerged ahead of two other newcomers, Lionsgate’s psychological thriller “The Housemaid” and Paramount’s “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.”
“David,” a kid-friendly take on the story of David and Goliath and follow-up to the TV mini-series “Young David,” collected $22 million from 3,118 screens, enough for second place on domestic charts. Those ticket sales mark the best three-day debut for the faith-based Angel Studios, surpassing “Sound of Freedom,” which ignited to $19.6 million and became a sleeper hit with more than $250 million. Ticket buyers were fonder of “David” compared to critics; the family film landed an “A” grade on CinemaScore and 70% Rotten Tomatoes average.
“Families are searching for values-driven films that honor hope,” said Angel’s head of theatrical, Brandon Purdie. “We look forward to a robust theatrical run as this popular animated musical continues to warm hearts and inspire families this Christmas.”
“The Housemaid” started strong in third place with $19 million from 3,015 theaters. Initial crowds were 70% female and 75% above the age of 25, according to PostTrak. They gave the film a “B” grade on CinemaScore exit polls, which isn’t unusual for a movie that leaves audiences feeling unsettled as they leave the theater. Lionsgate is hoping the film, starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, becomes a breakout hit among women in the vein of “A Simple Favor,” “Anyone but You,” or “It Ends With Us” (but without the off-screen drama). Directed by Paul Feig (“Bridesmaids”) and adapted from the best-selling novel by Freida McFadden, the R-rated film follows an ex-con who becomes the live-in maid for an ultra-wealthy family.
“SpongeBob” was No. 4 with $16 million from 3,557 locations. The PG-rated film, based on the hit Nickelodeon television show, cost $64 million to produce. Initial ticket sales are by far the lowest of the two prior “SpongeBob” theatrical adventures. The first, 2004’s “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, launched with $32 million, while the second, 2015’s “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water,” opened to $55 million. Luckily, moviegoers seem to dig “Search for SquarePants,” which earned an “A-” grade on CinemaScore, the highest of the series.
Disney’s “Zootopia 2” rounded out the top five with $14.5 million in its fourth weekend of release. The animated sequel has generated a massive $282 million domestically and $1.27 billion globally to date, strengthening its standing as the year’s highest-grossing Hollywood release.
Elsewhere, Disney’s political dramedy “Ella McCay” cratered with $480,000 from 2,500 theaters in its sophomore outing. Those ticket sales mark a catastrophic drop of 75% from the film’s $2 million bow, which ranked as one of the worst openings in modern times for Disney. “Ella McCay,” which cost $35 million to produce, has grossed a mere $3.5 million so far.
In limited release, A24’s ping-pong dramedy “Marty Supreme” broke into the top 10 with a mighty $875,000 from just six screens. Those ticket sales translate to $145,933 per theater — the best of the year and highest average since “La La Land” in 2016, according to A24 — and bode remarkably well for the film’s nationwide expansion on Christmas Day. Thanks in no small part to star Timothee Chalamet’s press tour for the ages, A24 says the film played to “sold-out, raucous crowds all weekend,” including exclusive 70mm engagements. Josh Safdie (“Uncut Gems”) directed the 1950s-set “Marty Supreme,” which follows the fictional table-tennis champ Marty Mauser’s pursuit of greatness. It carries a budget of roughly $70 million.
This weekend is expected to kick off one of the busiest stretches for movie theaters. In the coming days, exhibitors will add a number of releases, including the Focus Features musical drama “Song Sung Blue” starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson, and Sony’s disaster comedy “Anaconda” with Jack Black and Paul Rudd, to their marquees.
Heading into the final stretch of 2025, overall domestic ticket sales are hovering at $8.38 billion, just 1.3% ahead of last year as well as 22.4% behind 2019, according to Comscore. Despite two billion-dollar hits, May’s “Lilo & Stitch” and November’s “Zootopia 2,” and several surprises like “A Minecraft Movie” and “Demon Slayer,” there were too many big-budget blockbusters that didn’t pull their weight. (“Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” and all three of Disney’s Marvel adventures, we’re looking at you.) So Hollywood is closely watching to find out whether these holiday offerings can help push the year’s revenues past the projected $9 billion mark.
“The final two weeks of the year are shaping up to be among the most crowded and exciting periods in recent memory,” says Comscore’s head of marketplace trends, Paul Dergarabedian, noting that “theaters and studios had an exhilarating and, at times, tumultuous journey in 2025.”

Sheryl Lee Ralph Goes Viral For Calling Out American Airlines After Travel Delays
Sheryl Lee Ralph put American Airlines on blast after having complications on her travel.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ralph said that staff had a “troubling indifference” toward its passengers during the 2025 holiday travel rush.
“Well over one hour in the First Class/priority check-in line during holiday travel, Ralph wrote. “Minimal staffing. Few answers. No sense of urgency or care, and delayed. Holiday travel is not an excuse.”
“The lack of empathy, accountability, or even acknowledgment of the inconvenience conveyed a troubling indifference,” she continued.”One that no customer should experience, and certainly not those who have chosen to spend the most to fly with your airline.”
Ralph, a self-identified “million miler,” not only tagged the airlines but also Robert Isom, its CEO.
Eventually, American Airlines shared a public apology for the wait times that Ralph and others experienced.
”Waiting frustrates us too, and our apologies for the longer-than-expected lines at check-in,” the airline wrote. “We’ll share your feedback with airport leaders so they can review it internally.”
Ralph is just one of many who have expressed their frustration at the difficulties of traveling during the holidays.
In a recent holiday travel release, American Airlines announced that it expects to serve more than 12 million customers across over 119,000 flights this season. Those numbers are an increase from last year.
David Seymour, the airline’s chief operating officer, explained the travel rush in a statement.
“Our more than 130,000 team members are committed to making our customers’ journeys on American this holiday season safe, reliable, and enjoyable,” Seymour said.

Eventually, American Airlines shared a public apology for the wait times that Ralph and others experienced.
”Waiting frustrates us too, and our apologies for the longer-than-expected lines at check-in,” the airline wrote. “We’ll share your feedback with airport leaders so they can review it internally.”
Ralph is just one of many who have expressed their frustration at the difficulties of traveling during the holidays.
In a recent holiday travel release, American Airlines announced that it expects to serve more than 12 million customers across over 119,000 flights this season. Those numbers are an increase from last year.

Virginia State Police had issued a “critical missing adult” alert earlier in the week following Thompson’s disappearance from Herndon, Virginia.
According to officials, Thompson was last seen on Monday, December 15. The following day, his vehicle was discovered along Interstate 81 near Roanoke with a flat tire. The keys were missing, raising immediate concern about his well-being and whereabouts. Law enforcement agencies and search crews worked for days to locate him.
As the search continued, Dawes took to social media to ask for public assistance. In a message shared earlier Saturday, she said the family feared Thompson may have experienced a medical episode and could have been confused or disoriented.
Hours later, Dawes confirmed the devastating outcome. She shared a photo on Instagram honoring her father-in-law, referring to him affectionately as “Papa T.”
“We take comfort in knowing that he is now with our Lord and Savior,” Dawes wrote. “Thank you all for the prayers and support during this very difficult time.”

James Ransone has died of an apparent suicide at age 46. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the actor died by hanging on Friday (Dec. 19). A source told TMZ that the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call to a residence and ultimately determined that no foul play was suspected.
Ransone, born in Baltimore in 1979, attended the Carver Center for Arts and Technology from 1993 to 1997 and got his break in the 2002 teen drama Ken Park.
He appeared as Chester "Ziggy" Sabotka in 12 episodes of the second season of The Wire. He starred as Cpl. Josh Ray Person in HBO's Generation Kill and played the older Eddie Kaspbrak in 2019’s It: Chapter Two. His recent work included films like Black Phone 2 and TV shows such as Poker Face.

Barry Manilow, the singer-songwriter known for hits like "Copacabana," announced Monday that he was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and will need to reschedule January concert dates in order to have surgery.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Manilow, 82, said that an MRI scan detected "a cancerous spot" on one of his lungs after he suffered a lengthy bout of bronchitis in the midst of his Las Vegas residency.
"As many of you know I recently went through six weeks of bronchitis followed by a relapse of another five weeks. Even though I was over the bronchitis and back on stage at the Westgate Las Vegas, my wonderful doctor ordered an MRI just to make sure that everything was OK," Manilow said in the statement. "The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed."
"It's pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early," Manilow said, adding that he is going to have surgery to have the spot removed.
"The doctors do not believe it has spread, and I'm taking tests to confirm their diagnosis," he said. "So, that's it. No chemo. No radiation. Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns."
Manilow just finished a string of Christmas shows at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, where he has a lifetime residency. His January concert dates will be rescheduled as he recovers from surgery, he said.
The singer assured fans that he will be back to work by February and intends to perform Valentine's Day weekend.

Megan Thee Stallion is returning to court with a clear message that the legal battle does not end with a verdict.
After securing a defamation win, the rapper is now seeking court enforced boundaries that would prevent blogger Milagro Gramz from continuing to speak about her or engage with her in any capacity.
Court filings reviewed by Complex reveal that Megan’s attorneys submitted a request on December 17 asking for a permanent injunction against Milagro Gramz, legally known as Milagro Cooper.
The filing claims the blogger’s continued online behavior has caused Megan significant emotional harm and created ongoing concerns about her personal safety and well being.
The proposed court order would impose strict limitations lasting 5 years. Under the request, Gramz would be prohibited from contacting Megan directly or indirectly and would be required to maintain a distance of at least 500 feet at all times. The injunction would also bar the blogger from publishing or circulating any private or identifying information connected to the rapper.
The request outlines several additional protections, including a ban on sharing the deepfake video of Megan that played a role in the earlier trial. Gramz would also be restricted from making public statements about Megan’s testimony, mental health, personal habits involving alcohol, or members of her family. Megan’s legal team is asking the court to require Gramz to delete posts and statements that were part of the defamation case and to completely cease any form of cyberstalking or in person harassment. The injunction request also alleges that Gramz acted in coordination with Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a 10 year prison sentence for shooting Megan in July 2020. “An injunction is essential to protect Ms. Pete against the threat of harm posed to her safety and well being by Defendant’s conduct,” the filing states.
This latest move comes weeks after a jury ruled in Megan’s favor on all defamation claims. Gramz was initially ordered to pay $75,000 in damages, a figure later reduced to $59,000. Video from court proceedings captured Megan expressing that she was “happy” with the outcome of the case.
As the judge weighs the request for a permanent injunction, the decision could mark a turning point in Megan’s efforts to close this chapter and regain control over her public narrative.
After securing a defamation win, the rapper is now seeking court enforced boundaries that would prevent blogger Milagro Gramz from continuing to speak about her or engage with her in any capacity.
Court filings reviewed by Complex reveal that Megan’s attorneys submitted a request on December 17 asking for a permanent injunction against Milagro Gramz, legally known as Milagro Cooper.
The filing claims the blogger’s continued online behavior has caused Megan significant emotional harm and created ongoing concerns about her personal safety and well being.
The proposed court order would impose strict limitations lasting 5 years. Under the request, Gramz would be prohibited from contacting Megan directly or indirectly and would be required to maintain a distance of at least 500 feet at all times. The injunction would also bar the blogger from publishing or circulating any private or identifying information connected to the rapper.
The request outlines several additional protections, including a ban on sharing the deepfake video of Megan that played a role in the earlier trial. Gramz would also be restricted from making public statements about Megan’s testimony, mental health, personal habits involving alcohol, or members of her family. Any commentary intended to stir hostility or mobilize harassment against Megan would also be prohibited.

Epstein Survivors Release Statement Calling Out Department of Justice, Demand Legal Action
A group of Epstein survivors have issued a statement after an incomplete file dump that did not fully enforce the Epstein Files Transparency Act was released .
It was expected that they would release every unclassified document relating to the Epstein case, as the Epstein Files Transparency Act has wording that states ALL of the files would need to be released to comply. Some were released and then removed, others had huge amounts of redactions, and there are countless documents seemingly missing.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act imposed a Dec 19, 2025 deadline for the United States Department of Justice to release its full records of the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplices and enablers, with specific, narrow exceptions such as survivor identities. This law, enacted by a nearly unanimous vote in the House and unanimously in the Senate, and signed by the President, was clear. It afforded no permission for delayed disclosure.
Instead, the public received a fraction of the files, and what we received was riddled with abnormal and extreme redactions with no explanation. At the same time, numerous victim identities were left unredacted, causing real and immediate harm. No financial documents were released. Grand jury minutes, though approved by a federal judge for release, were fully blacked out — not the scattered redactions that might be expected to protect victim names, but 119 full pages blacked out. We are told that there are hundreds of thousands of pages of documents still unreleased. These are clear-cut violations of an unambiguous law.
Moreover, the partial release was done in a manner that made it difficult or impossible for survivors to find materials that would be most relevant to our search for accountability. There has been no guidance for survivors on how to locate materials pertaining to our own cases, nor have we been provided with copies of our own files despite repeated requests. There has been no communication with survivors or our representatives as to what was withheld from release, or why hundreds of thousands of documents have not been disclosed by the legal deadline, or how DOJ will ensure that no more victim names are wrongly disclosed. While clearer communication would not change the fact that a law was broken, its absence suggests an ongoing intent to keep survivors and the public in the dark as much as possible and as long as possible.
It is alarming that the United States Department of Justice, the very agency tasked with upholding the law, has violated the law, both by withholding massive quantities of documents, and by failing to redact survivor identities. As women who survived the crimes perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, we call upon DOJ to explain to the public why they have missed a legal deadline and to explain to us or our representatives how we can privately obtain copies of all documents in DOJ possession that identify us by name.
For documents that are publicly released, careful, lawful redaction is essential. Transparency must focus on institutional failures, enablers, financial records, and government conduct, not on further endangering survivors.
Moreover we call upon Congress to stand up for the rule of law. We urge immediate congressional oversight, including hearings, formal demands for compliance, and legal action, to ensure the Department of Justice fulfills its legal obligations.
This is not a partisan issue. Just as the Epstein Files Transparency Act was supported across party lines, we now ask elected officials from both parties to take decisive action to enforce the law, compel full compliance, and ensure meaningful transparency without further delay.
Survivors deserve truth. Survivors whose identities are private deserve protection. The public deserves accountability. And the law must be enforced.
