#RHOA: Fans divided after Mia suggests Karen needs REHAB after her drunk driving accident
Karen Huger's DUI charges (or as she insists, they're only 'allegations') continue to loom large on Bravo's Real Housewives of Potomac.
The 61-year-old was involved in a DUI crash back in March 2024, just a month before filming began on Season 9 of RHOP.
She has refused to speak in detail about the accident ever since, though in this week's episode - entitled Blast From Everyone's Past - Mia Thornton went so far as to suggest Karen needs to go to rehab.

RHOP newcomer Stacey Rusch had apparently not heard about the incident - despite it being the talk of the group all season - and went right to Karen to relay what she just heard about rehab.
Her actions have many RHOP fans divided - with some claiming she's a 'snitch' and some insisting she's actually being a good friend by being so direct.

@suhmeenuh said, 'They trying to get Karen off the show talking rehab,' while @venusnv80plus said, 'And on that note…Stacey is a Producer Plant. This naïveté that she has going on has moved into unbelievable territory.'

That user wasn't the only one who was surprised how Stacey couldn't have learned about all of Karen's charges/allegations.
Others called out Karen for calling her criminal charges 'allegations,' like @sugarbunt, who said, 'Damn damn the drama at the end of episode is what we should get! But hey I need sneak peak of next Sunday please.. Rehab all the allegations( I think they were charges).'

#HipHopNews: Tyler The Creator Lands His Third No. 1 Album On The 'Billboard' 200 Chart With 'CHROMAKOPIA'
Tyler, The Creator notched his third No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with CHROMAKOPIA. Despite only having four tracking days due to its Monday (Oct. 28) release, the LP sold 299,500 album-equivalent units.

More than half of the total amount came from SEA units, or 212.55 million on-demand streams, while physical album sales accounted for 142,000. CHROMAKOPIA arrived with a limited-edition CD and numerous boxed sets including various tees, a hoodie, and a poster. The 14-song effort is the third-biggest debut week for Hip Hop on vinyl since 1991 — Travis Scott’s DAYS BEFORE RODEO re-release currently holds spot No. 1 — according to Luminate data.

Joined by singles “St. Chroma,” “Noid,” and “Thought I Was Dead,” CHROMAKOPIA boasted contributions from the likes of Teezo Touchdown, Sexyy Red, GloRilla, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Wayne, Daniel Caesar, and Doechii. Production, on the other hand, was handled entirely by the GOLF WANG founder himself.

As Rap-Up reported earlier in the month, CHROMAKOPIA‘s launch led to Tyler dethroning Taylor Swift on Spotify’s Top Artists Global chart for a few days. The pop icon’s fanbase evidently wasn’t pleased with the news and began resurfacing some of his old, controversial lyrics. “I got Swifties all mad at me with their racist a**,” he responded during a recent concert. “B**ch, go listen to ‘Tron Cat.’ I don’t give a f**k, h**. They gon’ bring out the old me.”

General ticket sales for the “CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR” began on Nov. 1. Tyler will open the trek with a show in St. Paul, MN before sweeping through Los Angeles, Vancouver, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, and Charlotte, among other cities. Lil Yachty and rap duo Paris Texas are joining him as supporting acts.

Ahead of the voyage, fans can catch the “Sticky” rapper at Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival later in the month. Playboi Carti, Denzel Curry, Tommy Richman, Earl Sweatshirt, and more are on the bill.

#RIP The Maestro Quincy Jones, pop mastermind and 'Thriller' producer, dies At 91

Quincy Jones, whose decorated music career ran from the early 1950s through the best-known works of Michael Jackson and beyond, died Sunday. He was 91.
His death was confirmed by his publicist in a statement to NPR that did not mention the cause of death. The statement said that Jones died peacefully at his home in Bel Air, California, surrounded by his family.

"Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing," the family said in the statement provided by Jones' publicist, Arnold Robinson. "And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him."
In the 1980s, Jones helped oversee some of music's biggest and most widely loved moments: He produced or co-produced three of Michael Jackson's best-selling albums, including 1982's record-setting Thriller, and was heavily involved in crafting USA for Africa's 1985 charity single "We Are the World." But his career extended for decades in each direction. Jones long held the record for most Grammy nominations with 80, before Jay-Z and Beyoncé surpassed the total earlier this decade, and his 28 wins rank him third behind Beyoncé (32) and conductor Georg Solti (31).

Born Quincy Delight Jones in 1933, Jones got his start in jazz — at 19, he played trumpet in Lionel Hampton's band — and soon performed on stages with some of the world's best-known stars: Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley.
In the 1960s, Jones became a decorated film composer — he collected three of his seven career Academy Award nominations in 1968 and '69 — as well as a high-profile music-industry executive, arranger and producer. On albums like The Great Wide World of Quincy Jones and Quincy Jones Plays Hip Hits, he was the headliner, but he also worked behind the scenes, producing (among many others) a string of bestselling hits for Lesley Gore.

In the '70s, Jones remained in the spotlight as a performer and executive, expanding his reach with high-profile projects such as the soundtrack to The Wiz. But the 1980s found his name attached to a remarkable string of successes, from "We Are the World" and Thriller to his first foray into film production: 1985's The Color Purple, which made movie stars of Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg. Jones' star-packed Back on the Block, released in 1989, won the Grammy for album of the year in 1991.

Jones' successes extended well beyond music and film. Shortly after launching Quincy Jones Entertainment in 1990, he was presiding over long-running TV hits such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and MADtv. His 2001 book Q: The Autobiography of Quincy Jones detailed his many intersections with music's biggest moments and stars, as well as his mental-health battles and rocky upbringing in Chicago. Jones' philanthropic works extended well beyond USA for Africa and benefited causes such as music preservation, arts education and aid for underprivileged youth.

Jones' tumultuous personal life included three marriages and seven children, including actresses Kidada and Rashida Jones — his daughters with actress Peggy Lipton — and Kenya Kinski-Jones, a fashion model whose mother is German actress and model Nastassja Kinski.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Venom 3’ tops box office again

“Venom: The Last Dance” enjoyed another weekend at the top of the box office. The Sony release starring Tom Hardy added $26.1 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates Sunday.
It was a relatively quiet weekend for North American movie theaters leading up to the presidential election. Charts were dominated by big studio holdovers, like “Venom 3,” “The Wild Robot” and “Smile 2,” while audiences roundly rejected the Tom Hanks, Robin Wright and Robert Zemeckis reunion “Here.” Thirty years after “Forrest Gump,” “Here” opened to only $5 million from 2,647 locations.

“Venom 3” only fell 49% in its second weekend, which is a notably small drop for a superhero film, though it didn’t exactly open like one either. In two weeks, the movie has made over $90 million domestically; The first two opened to over $80 million. Globally, the picture is brighter given that it has already crossed the $300 million threshold.

Meanwhile, Universal and Illumination’s “The Wild Robot” continues to attract moviegoers even six weeks in (and when it’s available by video on demand), placing second with $7.6 million. That’s up 11% from last weekend. The animated charmer has made over $121 million in North America and $269 million worldwide.

“‘The Wild Robot’ has quietly been this absolute juggernaut for the fall season,” said Paul Dergarabedian, the senior media analyst for Comscore. “For that film to see an increase after six weeks is astounding.”

“Smile 2” landed in third place with $6.8 million, helping to push its worldwide total to $109.7 million.
The time-hopping “Here,” a graphic novel that was adapted by “Forrest Gump” screenwriter Eric Roth, was financed by Miramax and distributed by Sony’s TriStar. With a fixed position camera, it takes audiences through the years in one living room. Critics were not on board: In aggregate it has a lousy 36% on Rotten Tomatoes.

“It was a slow weekend anyway, but it didn’t resonate in a way that many thought it might,” Dergarabedian said. “There are a lot of films out there for the audience that ‘Here’ was chasing.”
Despite playing in almost 1,000 more locations, “Here” came in behind Focus Features’ papal thriller “Conclave,” which earned $5.3 million. Playing in 1,796 theaters, “Conclave” dropped only 20% from its debut last weekend and has made $15.2 million so far. Two Indian films also cracked the top 10 in their debuts, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and “Singham Again.”

Overall box office continues to lag behind 2023 by almost 12%. But holiday moviegoing will likely give the industry an end-of-year boost with titles like “Gladiator II” and “Wicked” on the way.
“In a couple of weeks, it’ll get a lot more competitive,” Dergarabedian said.

Jesse Eisenberg’s film “A Real Pain,” a comedic drama about cousins on a Holocaust tour in Poland, launched in four theaters this weekend in New York and Los Angeles. It made an estimated $240,000, or $60,000 per screen, which is among the top three highest per theater averages of the year. Searchlight Pictures will be expanding the well-reviewed film nationwide in the coming weeks, going wide on Nov. 15 to over 800 theaters.

Box office charts don’t always paint a full picture of the moviegoing landscape, however. This weekend several relatively high-profile films playing in theaters did not report full grosses for various reasons, including the Clint Eastwood film “Juror #2,” Steve McQueen’s WWII film “Blitz” and the Cannes darling “Emilia Pérez.” Netflix, which is handling “Emilia Pérez,” never reports box office. Apple Original Films is following suit with “Blitz,” a likely awards contender, which is in theaters before hitting Apple TV+ on Nov. 22.

“Juror No. 2” is a Warner Bros. release, and a well-reviewed one at that. The film directed by Eastwood stars Nicholas Hoult as a juror on a murder case who faces a big moral dilemma. Domestic ticket sales were withheld. The studio did say that it earned $5 million from international showings, where it played on 1,348 screens.

Even major studios withhold box office numbers occasionally. Earlier this year, Disney did not report on the Daisy Ridley movie “Young Woman and the Sea.” Results were most notably withheld during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s really up to the distributors,” Dergarabedian said. “Often times the reason that certain movies may not be reported is that there’s a chance that the quality of the movie will be conflated with the box office number.”

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Comscore, were:

1. “Venom: The Last Dance,” $26.1 million.
2. “The Wild Robot,” $7.6 million.
3. “Smile 2,” $6.8 million.
4. “Conclave,” $5.3 million.
5. “Here,” $5 million.
6. “We Live In Time,” $3.5 million.
7. “Terrifier 3,” $3.4 million.
8. “Singham Again,” $2.1 million.
9. “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” $2.1 million.
10. “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” $2.1 million.

Tyler Lepley Proposes To Longtime Girlfriend, Miracle Watts

It’s official—Tyler Lepley and Miracle Watts are headed down the aisle. The P-Valley co-stars got engaged on Sunday (Nov. 3) in front of a heart-shaped arrangement of white roses. Watts captioned the post with the diamond ring emoji.

The proposal comes just months after Watts seemingly issued Lepley an ultimatum. During a Q&A on her YouTube channel, she asked viewers for their thoughts on the appropriate timeline within a relationship to go from girlfriend to fiancée.
“I have a question. Do y’all think it’s disrespectful for a man not to marry a woman after being with her for a certain amount of years if they both agree that marriage is something that they want?,” the mother of one questioned. “We’re coming up on that time, so you better get it together.”

Earlier in the video, Watts expressed, “I better see myself getting married soon. Soon.”
The couple met on the set of P-Valley and started dating in July 2021. Lepley and Watts welcomed their son, Xi Leì, in October 2022. The Harlem star has two children, Leo and Jade, from a prior relationship with April King.

Despite King stating that they’re not a blended family, neither Lepley nor Watts are strangers to gushing over one another publicly.
For their third anniversary, she expressed, “Today we walk into our 3rd year of love and friendship. Its been a rollercoaster, but I’ve always loved a GOOD RIDE lol. I love this man, this good fine black man!! & when you got something good, you hold onto it! MY MAN, MY MAN, MY MAN #happyanniversary.”

James Van Der Beek Shares Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis
Actor James Van Der Beek has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. “I’ve been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family,” the 47-year-old father of six told People in a story published on Sunday.

“There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good,” Van Der Beek added.
Numbers from the American Cancer Society show that colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States, when skin cancer is excluded from the statistics.
While colorectal cancer can be fatal, there has been a drop in death rates from the disease in recent decades.

The American Cancer Society attributes the decrease in deaths to the wider use of screenings and patients’ willingness to commit to lifestyle changes post-diagnosis.
Along with age and family history, there are a number of factors that can put people at a higher risk of getting colorectal cancer.
Those factors include having diets heavy in red meat and processed proteins, as well as eating too little fiber and overconsuming foods that are high in fat.

Tobacco use, excessive alcohol drinking and weight issues can also be contributing factors.
In addition to leading the popular teen drama “Dawson’s Creek” from 1998 to 2003, Van Der Beek also appeared in the medical series “Mercy” and played a sensationalized version of himself on ABC’s “Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23.”

His film credits include “Varsity Blues,” “The Rules of Attraction” and “Labor Day.”

Diddy Gets To Eat 'Breakfast Cake' On 55th Birthday In Jail
Sean "[P. Diddy]" Combs, once celebrated for his opulent parties and influential status in the music industry, is marking his 55th birthday behind bars. Arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, the disgraced music mogul now finds his birthday celebrations relegated to the confines of Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.

Combs, who turned 55 on November 4, will start his day at 6 a.m. with a typical prison breakfast. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the menu includes items such as fruit, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, biscuits, and "oven brown potatoes." While inmates get a slice of "breakfast cake" daily, this is not a special treat for Combs' birthday. Contrary to his past birthday mornings, there's no coffee unless it's the weekend.

For lunch at 11 a.m., Combs can expect a choice of Southwest chicken wraps, chicken tacos, cheese pizza, or three-bean chili, paired with sides like green beans, rice, salsa, or cole slaw. Unfortunately for him, there won't be any birthday sweets as Monday lunches do not include dessert.

Dinner, which follows the 4 p.m. headcount, typically features either a turkey roast with rice and green peas or chicken/tofu fried rice with black beans and carrots. Though he can purchase comfort items like Nutella, Snickers, and hot chocolate if he has commissary funds, the former luxury lifestyle icon faces a harsh dietary contrast.

Last year, Combs celebrated his birthday with a lavish party at LAVO restaurant in London, joined by celebrities like Janet Jackson and Naomi Campbell. Flashback to 2019, his 50th birthday saw an extravagant celebration at his Beverly Hills mansion with an A-list guest list including Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, and Kim Kardashian. The contrast now could not be more stark.

In addition to grappling with the limited food options, Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, revealed that his client finds prison food particularly challenging. "I think the food's probably the roughest part of it," Agnifilo stated.
Combs remains behind bars as he awaits his trial, set for May 5, 2025, after pleading not guilty to all charges. Accusations against him include organizing "Freak Off" parties where attendees reported being drugged and sexually assaulted. Despite the hefty charges and severe allegations, Combs maintains his innocence, with his legal team preparing for a strenuous battle ahead.

Regardless of the outcome, this birthday marks a significant low in Combs' once glittering life, underscoring a dramatic fall from grace for the former king of hip-hop.

Prosecutors Consider Charges Against Russell Brand Over Alleged Sexual Assault
British prosecutors have received a file of evidence from the Metropolitan Police in connection with alleged sexual offenses committed by comedian and actor Russell Brand. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed on Saturday that it will now review the evidence to determine whether charges should be brought.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police have interviewed 49-year-old Brand three times over "non-recent sexual offenses." Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy, who leads the investigation, stated, "Our investigation continues, and a file has been passed to the CPS."

In September 2023, British media outlets Channel 4 and the Sunday Times reported claims by four women alleging that they were sexually assaulted or raped by Brand between 2006 and 2013, during the height of his fame. Another woman told BBC News that an incident occurred while she was working in the same building as the BBC's Los Angeles office.

Brand has denied the allegations, asserting that his relationships were "always consensual." Known for his unbridled and risqué standup routines, Brand has hosted shows on radio and television, written memoirs about his struggles with drugs and alcohol, appeared in Hollywood films, and was briefly married to pop star Katy Perry from 2010 to 2012.

In recent years, Brand has largely faded from mainstream media attention but has amassed a significant online following with videos merging wellness and conspiracy theories. YouTube CEO Neal Mohan previously defended the platform's decision to suspend monetization of Brand's channel, citing YouTube's creator responsibility guidelines policy in cases where off-platform behavior could harm the creator ecosystem.
The CPS decision to charge Brand will be made based solely on the evidence presented and in accordance with its legal guidelines. The outcome of the review is currently pending.

Broadway Star Kecia Lewis Says Patti Lupone Calling ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Show ‘Too Loud’ Is ‘Bullying’ & ‘Racially Microagressive’

Broadway’s Kecia Lewis has a message for actress Patti Lupone. In a six-minute video shared to Instagram on Sunday (November 3), Kecia Lewis called out Patti Lupone after she called the Hell’s Kitchen show “too loud.”
Kecia Lewis, who won a Tony Award after starring in the production as Miss Liza Jane, broke down a few instances involving Patti Lupone and said,

“The first one is that you contacted our theater owner about changing a couple of our sound cues because you found them to be too loud. You also, after our sound design was adjusted, sent flowers to our sound and stage management team thanking them. I wanted to address this because, Ms. LuPone, these actions, in my opinion, are bullying. They’re offensive, they are racially microaggressive, they’re rude, they’re rooted in privilege. And these actions also lack a sense of community and leadership for someone as yourself, who has been in the business as long as you have.”

She ended by telling Patti Lupone, “I respectfully submit to you that you owe us an apology — not flowers.”
As of now, it doesn’t look like Lupone has issued a public apology.

Lil Wayne Addresses Super Bowl Halftime Snub: ‘It Was Ripped Away From Me’
Lil Wayne is making his feelings known about being overlooked for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.
During his set at the Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans on Saturday (Nov. 2), Lil Wayne reflected on his aspirations to perform at the Super Bowl, sharing,

“I said to myself, ‘I want to be on stage for the Super Bowl one day in front of my mom.’ I worked my ass off to get that f****** position, and it was ripped away from me. But this mother f****** moment right here… they can’t take that from me!”
The rapper’s comments come after Kendrick Lamar was announced as the headliner for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, leaving many fans and close associates feeling that Lil Wayne deserved the spotlight in his own city.

Do you agree that the halftime show was ripped away from him?

Chloë Grace Moretz comes out as gay in post supporting LGBTQ rights while endorsing Kamala Harris

Actor Chloë Grace Moretz came out as a gay in an Instagram post on Friday that also served as an endorsement for Vice President Kamala Harris.
"I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris," Moretz wrote in the caption of an Instagram post showcasing an "I voted early 2024" sticker on her jeans.

"There is so much on the line this election. I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor," Moretz wrote, adding, "Kamala Harris will protect that for us."
Moretz, 27, then said that “as a gay woman,” she believes in the need for legal protections for the LGBTQ community.
"We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve," Moretz said before asking her followers if they are voting early. She also encouraged followers to make a plan to go to their polling places with friends.

Moretz, who used to date Brooklyn Beckham, has been linked to model Kate Harrison for about five years. The pair often shares photos of themselves together on social media.
In 2018, Moretz played a gay teen who was sent to a conversion therapy camp against her will in the movie "The Miseducation of Cameron Post."

During promotion for that movie, she told Deadline she has been an "activist for the LGBT community since I was a little girl, having two gay brothers in my family."
During the same press tour, Moretz was clearly irritated when a reporter from The Independent told her that her name was included in an article about straight actors playing gay characters.

"Oh really?" Moretz told The Independent at the time. "Well I think what's important is don't assume anyone's sexuality. I mean, across the board, don't assume."
She continued: "We're all human, trying to be with the people that we fall in love with, and be the best person that we can be. But don't assume people's sexualities. And don't project your own issues onto them. Why don't we let people be who they wanna be?"

Robert De Niro Crashes NFL Tailgate Ahead of Eagles Game to Lobby for Kamala Harris: 'Eagles Tailgate Silver Lining'
"Eagles tailgates remain elite," the Philadelphia football team wrote on social media about the Hollywood star's surprise appearance
Robert De Niro was spotted in an unlikely place! On Sunday, Nov. 3, the actor, 81, crashed the tailgate ahead of the Eagles-Jaguars game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia to lobby for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
NFL shared two photos of De Niro's surprise appearance at the stadium on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "Robert De Niro showed up at an @Eagles tailgate."

In the snaps, De Niro can be seen standing among football fans decked out in green and black attire to show their support for their team. Meanwhile, the actor is wearing a black coat over a gray shirt and holding a stack of white papers.
The photos were captured by sports fan Mark Kremer, who shared them with the caption, "Did Robert De Niro join your tailgate? No? That’s why the tailgates hosted by @philatticus and @ianfromphilly are the best."

The Eagles and Sunday Night Football on NBC also reposted the images on X. The NFL team shared one of the two photos with the caption, "Eagles tailgates remain elite," while the sports program made a reference to De Niro’s Eagles-loving character in the 2012 romantic comedy Silver Linings Playbook.

"Eagles tailgate silver lining: seeing Robert De Niro," the NBC show quipped in the caption of its post, which included a photo of De Niro at the tailgate along with a snapshot of the actor in Eagles attire in the movie.

Another spectator shared a clip which shows De Niro interacting with the crowd as “Everytime We Touch” by Cascada played in the background. The two-time Oscar winner can be seen nodding and chatting animatedly with a person standing behind a table of barbecue food.
Michael Embrich, former member of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs' Advisory Committee on the Readjustment of Veterans, posted that he was campaigning with De Niro at the time. "Honored to join Robert De Niro, Secretary Kerry and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan at the Eagles tailgate! Let’s get out the vote for Kamala Harris! #GoBirds #Vote," he wrote on X.

Along with his impassioned post, Embrich shared a photo of De Niro speaking into a microphone at the tailgate while surrounded by a group of people.
Robert De Niro speaks to a group of people at an Eagles tailgate on Nov. 3
This is not the first time De Niro has showed his support for Harris, 60. In September, he participated in a livestream with fellow actor Steve Buscemi to voice their support and help raise funds.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, De Niro said he was "optimistic" that Harris and running mate Tim Walz will win the election, but encouraged people to not get complacent.
"I’m very excited, but to me, it ain’t over till it’s over. So we can’t for one second think that we’re ahead of this thing," De Niro said.

"We just have to be on it all the time until the very end because they’re going to try everything when the election day comes," he continued. "When will these things be final? What will they question? What will they play games about? We know it’s coming, we see it coming. We have to just be ever vigilant, and it’s not over till it’s over."

NBA Investigating Reports That Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid Shoved Columnist
The National Basketball Association is investigating reports that Philadelphia 76ers star center Joel Embiid “shoved” a columnist following the team’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.
A visibly angry Embiid confronted Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Marcus Hayes as reporters entered the Sixers locker room, according to the Associated Press.

Hayes had published a column on October 23 criticizing Embiid for not being prepared for the season. In the column, Hayes referenced Embiid’s late brother Arthur and his 4-year-old son.
“The next time you bring up my dead brother and my son again, you are going to see what I’m going to do to you and I’m going to have to … live with the consequences,” Embiid told Hayes, according to the AP.
Embiid reportedly continued mouthing at Hayes, who eventually offered an apology to the 76ers center. However, Embiid refused Hayes’ attempts to make amends.

After saying that he doesn’t care what reporters say, Hayes interjected with, “But you do.” leading Embiid to get louder. Embiid then pushed Hayes on the shoulder and the team’s public relations chief got in between them, AP reported.
An NBA spokesperson told CNN the league has started an investigation into the incident. “We are aware of reports of an incident in the Sixers locker room this evening and are commencing an investigation,” the spokesperson said.
CNN has reached out to the Philadelphia 76ers and Embiid’s agent but did not immediately hear back. The newspaper came to its reporter’s defense with a statement issued Sunday.

“Marcus is an experienced and accomplished columnist who offers sharp and illuminating commentary grounded in his observations,” said Inquirer editor and senior vice president Gabriel Escobar. “You are free to disagree with what he says, but a physical assault is unwarranted and untenable and we are taking this matter very seriously.”
In the column in question, Hayes brought up Embiid’s late brother and son while questioning the player’s professionalism.
“Joel Embiid consistently points to the birth of his son, Arthur, as the major inflection point in his career. He often says that he wants to be great to leave a legacy for the boy named after his little brother, who tragically died in an automobile accident when Embiid was in his first year as a 76er,” Hayes wrote.

“Well, in order to be great at your job, you first have to show up for work. Embiid has been great at just the opposite. Now in his 11th season, he consistently has been in poor condition,” Hayes continued. “This poor conditioning apparently seems to have delayed his debut this season.”

On Friday, Embiid fired back at recent criticism of his absences, specifically mentioning Hayes.
“When I see people say ‘he does not want to play,’ I’ve done way too much for this city, putting myself at risk for people to be saying that. I do think this is bullsh*t,” Embiid said.

Embiid continued: “Like that dude, he’s not here, Marcus, I’ve done way too much for this f**king city to be treated like this. Done way too f**king much. I wish I was as lucky as the other ones, but that does not mean I’m not doing whatever it takes to be out there, which I’m going to be.”

The 76ers were fined $100,000 by the NBA on Friday for public statements made by team president Daryl Morey and head coach Nick Nurse that were inconsistent with his health status and violated the league’s rules.
In September, Embiid signed a three-year contract extension with the 76ers, worth a reported $192.9 million, a source familiar with the contract figures told CNN.

He has not played in a game this season, and the team sits at 1-4 following Saturday night’s loss as they continue to play with Embiid and offseason acquisition Paul George.

November is National Diabetes Month: Understand Your Risk and Actions for a Healthier Life

As we have officially wrapped up spooky season, November marks a new meaning. Outside of Thanksgiving, the month is known for being National Diabetes Month, which brings in a moment to raise awareness about the health condition and the critical need to know your risk.

Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects millions across the world and can lead to other major health complications, including heart disease and kidney damage.  While diabetes can be scary, the expansion of modern-day technology has allowed us to understand our chances and the preventative measures we can take to stay healthy.

But, the lingering question that most have is, how do you know if you’re at risk?  Multiple factors can contribute to the likelihood of a person being diagnosed with diabetes. For starters, family history and genetics are the most significant factors in the development. If your parent or someone in your family has diabetes, there’s a high chance that you can develop the condition. Additionally, another major factor is being overweight, as excess body fat can lead to insulin resistance, which is a precursor to Type 2 diabetes.

Age is also a factor to consider when knowing your risk. People over 45 usually have a higher likelihood of developing diabetes than someone younger, but that doesn’t mean that they’re exempt from the condition. In addition, certain ethnic groups, including African Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans, are at higher risk.

Being aware of the early symptoms of diabetes can help tackle them before they cause bigger health problems. Some things to watch for when looking for the condition include excessive thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, and unexplained weight loss. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms, reach out to your doctor or healthcare provider.

#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Says Lenny Kravitz Got Her Phone Number and Never Called Her
Cynthia Bailey and Lenny Kravitz could've been an item! On Friday, Nov. 1, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 57, participated in a live taping of Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge’s Two Ts in a Pod podcast at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, Calif., where she revealed that the Grammy winner did not call her after obtaining her phone number.

Bailey said that she met Kravitz, 60, at Mick Jagger’s star-studded 80th birthday party last July in London, where the rock legend introduced them to each other.
"I didn't really feel any sparks," the reality TV star admitted. Bailey continued to say that tried to play it "really cool" around Kravitz, given that she has "talked about him [for] the last five years."

"He was really nice. He didn't seem overly interested or anything," she added, before detailing that Kravitz inquired about getting in touch with her.
"He asked Mick's fiancée for my number," Bailey said, which prompted Mellencamp, 43, to ask: "But did he ask for anybody else's number?"
"That I don't know," Bailey then replied, before joking, "Apparently so. He didn't use my damn number."

Last September, Bailey has mentioned that she met someone she was interested in romantically, though she said she was taking things slow following her separation from Fox Sports correspondent Mike Hill after their two years of marriage.
"It's coming along all right, it's coming along,” she said of her dating life at the time. “There's someone that I really like dating a lot, but we're taking it slow. I'm still open to dating other people.”
Bailey filed for divorce from Hill in October 2022. She shared a statement with PEOPLE at the time that read, “God does not make mistakes! I truly believe in my heart Mike coming into my life was destiny. I jumped in, both feet first and gave it my all."

"Although that journey has come to an end," she added. "I am so grateful for our continued friendship, and the beautiful memories that we made together. God willing, I will find love again. Whatever is destined to be, will be; and I could not be more excited for my next chapter!"
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's season 16 is set to premiere in 2025.

#HipHopNews: Ye Set To Release Billion-Dollar Documentary ‘In Whose Name?’ In 2025
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has a documentary in the works. A promo reel of the Chicago lyricist’s In Whose Name? is expected to premiere at the American Film Market (AFM) in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday (Nov. 7).

The film, which reportedly has a budget of a billion dollars, will follow Ye’s journey to becoming among the richest Black men in America in addition to “uncovering why the superstar risked everything he had built in the name of freedom.”
Directed by Nicolas Ballesteros, who followed the rapper around with an iPhone for the past six years, viewers can look forward to the project exploring “overlapping influences of corporate exploitation, racial complexities and psychological struggles inherent in the American dream,” all of which the “POWER” hitmaker has dealt with in recent times.

Goodfellas’ Head of Sales Eva Diederix and Marie Zeniter, vice president of sales at Utopia, said in a joint statement that the upcoming release will offer an “unfiltered view without narration” of the artist’s life. “It invites audiences to draw their own conclusions on themes of fame, religion and power,” read the release, per Variety. “We believe audiences globally deserve the chance to witness how one of the world’s most influential figures navigates the complexities and contradictions of celebrity.”

In Whose Name? was produced by Ballesteros alongside Jack M. Russell and Shy Ranje, with Justin Staple — who previously directed 2020’s American Rapstar — serving as co-executive producer. The film is expected to debut in 2025.
In Whose Name? certainly won’t be the first documentary fans have gotten from Ye. In 2022, “jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy” arrived on Netflix with over two decades of footage on the multifaceted musician and designer's life and career courtesy of Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah.

Outside of the film, Ye is also preparing to release his next solo album, BULLY. Though not much is known about the LP at the moment, he gave fans a taste of what to expect with singles like “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” and “PREACHER MAN.”

Ex-Louisville officer Brett Hankison is GUILTY of violating Breonna Taylor's civil rights

A jury on Friday found former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison guilty of violating Breonna Taylor's civil rights during a fatal botched police raid, in a retrial of the federal case against him.

The guilty verdict came hours after the jury acquitted Hankison of a second count of violating the civil rights of three of Taylor's neighbors, who lived in an adjacent apartment that was also struck by gunfire during the raid. After the partial verdict was delivered, jurors, who remained deadlocked on the count specifically related to Taylor, were instructed by the judge to continue deliberating.

The jury returned a guilty verdict on that count shortly before 9:30 p.m., according to Louisville ABC affiliate WHAS.
Family and friends of Taylor hugged each other and cheered after leaving court late Friday night.
Speaking to reporters after the verdict, Tamika Palmer, Taylor's mother, thanked prosecutors and jurors. "They stayed the course," Palmer said of prosecutors, who retried the case after Hankison's first federal trial ended in a mistrial last year when the jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision after deliberating for several days.

As deliberations this time around stretched late into the evening Friday, Palmer said she began to feel defeated. "The later it got, the harder it got, and I'm just glad to be on the other side," she said.
"Now, I just want people to continue to say Breonna Taylor's name," her mother said.
Taylor was fatally shot during the March 2020 raid. The three officers fired dozens of rounds after her boyfriend fired one round at them, striking one of the officers.

Hankison fired 10 rounds through Taylor's sliding glass door and window, which were covered with blinds and curtains, prosecutors said. Several of the rounds traveled into Taylor's neighbor's apartment, where three people were at the time. None of the 10 rounds hit anyone.
Prosecutors argued Hankison's use of force was unjustified, put people in danger and violated the civil rights of Taylor and her three neighbors. The indictment alleged Hankison deprived Taylor of the right to be free from unreasonable seizures and deprived her neighbors of the right to be free from the deprivation of liberty without due process of law.

Several witnesses, including Louisville's current police chief, testified during the trial that the former officer violated Louisville police policy requiring officers to identify a target before firing, according to The Associated Press.

The defense argued during the trial that Hankison had joined a poorly planned raid and that he fired his weapon after believing someone was advancing toward the other officers, the AP reported.
The charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.

The plainclothes officers were serving a warrant searching for Taylor's ex-boyfriend, who they alleged was dealing drugs, when they broke down the door to her apartment. He was not at the residence, but her current boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, thought someone was breaking into the home and fired one shot with a handgun, striking one of the officers in the leg. The three officers returned fire, shooting 32 bullets into the apartment.
The original indictment alleged Hankison had also violated Walker's civil rights, though Walker was removed from the charge at the beginning of the retrial.

The retrial marked the third trial for Hankison, following the initial mistrial as well as a state trial in 2022, in which he was acquitted of multiple wanton endangerment charges.
Like in his previous trials, Hankison took the stand during the retrial, getting emotional at times over two days of testimony, according to WHAS, the ABC affiliate in Louisville covering the case in the courtroom.

Hankison told the jurors he was "trying to stay alive, [and] trying to keep my partners alive," according to WHAS.
Hankison insisted "the only person my bullet could have struck was the shooter," saying there was "zero risk" of hitting anyone outside the threat, according to WHAS.

He said that night was the first time he fired his gun in nearly 20 years of policing, according to the AP.
Hankison was fired from the Louisville Metro Police Department for violating department procedure when he "wantonly and blindly" fired into the apartment.

The two other officers involved in the raid were not charged. Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron called Taylor's death a "tragedy" but said the two officers were justified in their use of force after having been fired upon by Walker.
"Today, Brett Hankison was found guilty by a jury of his peers for willfully depriving Breonna Taylor of her constitutional rights," said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. "His use of deadly force was unlawful and put Ms. Taylor in harm's way. This verdict is an important step toward accountability for the violation of Breonna Taylor's civil rights, but justice for the loss of Ms. Taylor is a task that exceeds human capacity."

"This defendant is being held accountable for his willful and heinous use of deadly force that endangered the life of Breonna Taylor," said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. "Breonna Taylor's life mattered. We hope the jury's verdict recognizing this violation of Ms. Taylor's civil and constitutional rights brings some small measure of comfort to her family and loved ones who have suffered so deeply from the tragic events of March 2020. We hope that communities use this moment to say her name and to engrave on their hearts and minds Breonna Taylor's life and enduring legacy. The Justice Department will continue to vigorously defend the civil rights of every person in this country to be free from unlawful police violence."

Lenny Kravitz has no hard feelings toward Channing Tatum
The rocker, 60, recently teased plans his actress daughter Zoë Kravitz, 35, and actor Channing, 44, could be set to marry – but the couple split last week almost exactly a year after they got engaged.
“He understands that these things happen and just wants them to both be happy.” a source has now told Page Six about the musician’s outlook on the split.

The insider added Lenny and Channing had grown “really close” over the past few years, with the source saying the actor “felt a strong bond with Lenny as well” and stating “the feeling was mutual on Lenny’s end”.
“There was no dramatic falling out between Channing and Zoë. They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways.

“(They) handled the breakup very maturely (after) they came to a mutual realization that they were better off friends than romantic partners.” Zoë and Channing are said to have “been in touch” since their break-up, with a separate source telling Page Six.

Since the pair split, a second source has said Zoë has stayed upbeat as she “has a lot on her mind” with her career.
Zoë was also reportedly in high spirits at a Halloween party in the wake of her break-up from Channing.
Despite Zoë and Channing’s split, a separate source told UsWeekly there was a chance the couple’s romance could be reignited by them working together on their next project.

“Film is their passion, so it could bring them back together. They thrive while being on set together and will be able to get through it. “Both of them are very professional and there is no bad blood between them.” the former couple are set to start filming the upcoming ‘Alpha Gang’ in spring 2025 and the insider said.

John Legend’s Manager Recalls “Terrifying” Moment At Diddy NYE Party

"I hope it encourages more to come forward and share their stories." John Legend‘s longtime manager, Ty Stiklorius, recently opened up about her “terrifying” experience with Diddy.
In an Op-Ed published for The New York Times, Stiklorius recalls 27 years working in the music industry and laments the “pervasive predatory culture” of the business. The veteran took to Instagram the day the piece was published to give insight into her decision to pen a story centered on “a pervasive, painful truth in the music industry.”

“For too long, sexual misconduct has been treated as an open secret – a pattern that remains unchanged as power continues to be wielded without accountability. I’m speaking out in hopes that we can finally confront the reality of what so many have endured and commit to building a safer, more respectful industry for everyone,” her post reads. “I hope it encourages more to come forward and share their stories.”

The Music Industry Is Toxic. After P. Diddy, We Can Clean It Up recounts Ty Stiklorius attending a Combs New Year’s Eve yacht party. During this “terrifying” incident, Stiklorius remembers being invited into a room by a man who “seemed to be an associate” of Combs, and she was able to persuade him to let her leave the room. Stiklorius admitted that she thought nothing of the guy’s actions at the time; allegations against Diddy over sex trafficking and abuse led her to rethink the experience altogether.
“It was an indicator,” Stiklorius said. “Power has been concentrated in the hands of kingmakers: wealthy, entitled, nearly always male gatekeepers who control nearly every door that leads to success and who can, without consequence, use their power to abuse young women and young men.”

As the music vet continued, Ty spoke about women’s safety and opined that there was never a time that ladies felt security or protection in the industry, and Combs’ case is a prime example of this.
Ty then stated that Diddy’s case could potentially lead to a “Me Too” moment before using R. Kelly and Harvey Weinstein as examples of how this could be tricky.
Nonetheless, Stiklorius wrote that she feels there is a way forward to make the industry safer for women. She indirectly called on men to be allies to women in the business, recalling how her “college friend,” aka John Legend, gave her a shot at making her mark in the industry with zero creepy strings attached.

“After P. Diddy’s arrest, some observers wondered whether the industry would finally face a ‘# MeToo’ reckoning. But reducing the scourge of sexual coercion, harassment, and violence to a few notorious individuals —whether Harvey Weinstein or R. Kelly—suggests they’re outliers and obscures the more damning, stubborn, systemic rot that had infected the music business.

“My early experiences with predators, and those that enabled them, nearly led me to give up on the music business. A few years after the boat incident…I attended a dinner where a senior music executive slipped his key card to me under the table…I declined,” Ty added. “I only persisted in the industry because, in 2005, an old college friend who was starting to find success as an artist reached out to me. That artist was John Legend and, 20 years later, I am still his manager and partner in multiple business ventures. It turns out that many artists, including John, want to be a part of a different model of business and culture.”

Jason Kelce Destroys Fan's Phone After Man Hurls Homophobic Slur At Travis Kelce For Dating Taylor Swift
On a bustling Saturday at Penn State's University Park campus, Jason Kelce - a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles - was involved in an unexpected confrontation. Attending ESPN's "College GameDay" alongside fellow ESPN commentator Pat McAfee, Jason was the victim of an unsolicited and offensive remark aimed at his brother, NFL star Travis Kelce, who has been making headlines for dating pop sensation Taylor Swift.

In a moment captured and shared widely on social media, a heckler loudly taunted Kelce, "Kelce - how does it feel that your brother is a f***** for dating Taylor Swift?" What followed was an extraordinary reaction as Jason turned around and forcefully slammed a phone to the ground.

Although details remain murky, Penn State campus police confirmed no incident report had been filed, and the Kelce brothers and Taylor Swift's representatives have yet to comment on the confrontation.
Jason Kelce, 36, has always been a staunch supporter of his younger brother's relationship with Swift. He has been vocal about the overwhelming spotlight this relationship has thrust upon their family.

Appearing on a radio show in September, Jason shared, "It's a lot. There's a lot of people paying attention at all times, which is positive and negative at times." He acknowledged the pros and cons of such public attention but remained supportive of the couple. "She's built up such a fan base... it's really cool at the same time," he added.

This incident took place amidst the excitement of the "College GameDay" kicking challenge, hosted by Pat McAfee, where participants try to kick a field goal in Vans for a hefty cash prize. Jason's participation in the challenge and his support for his brother highlight his commitment to family amid public scrutiny.
As this story continues to unfold and more reactions surface, one thing remains clear: Jason Kelce's protective instincts reveal the complexities of living in the spotlight, especially when it intertwines with such high-profile relationships.

Gayle King Responds To Megan Thee Stallion Calling Her A “Bi**h” In New Doc

Gayle King still has love for Megan Thee Stallion following the rapper admitting to lying to the CBS journalist during their 2022 interview. She also addressed Meg calling her a “bi**h” during the confession.
“Hey, I’m just sitting here, minding my own business, and people are reaching out to me saying, ‘Hey Gayle, Megan Thee Stallion just called you a bi**h,'” King, 69, shared via a clip posted to Instagram. “Well , I know you’re expecting me, or maybe you’re thinking I have something negative to say. I do not.”

“I have nothing but great, great love and respect for Megan Thee Stallion, and cheering her on always,” she shared before opening up the discussion to the upcoming Presidential election.

50 Cent Refuses To Sell His Shows To STARZ, Cuts Ties Due To Network's Diddy Interview
50 Cent has been a significant player for the STARZ brand, delivering one of its most successful shows, "Power," along with various spinoffs. Known for his sharp business acumen, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has opted to move his ventures elsewhere, expressing dissatisfaction with the network's decision-making processes.

50 Cent's frustrations were spotlighted when he posted about a STARZ project involving P. Diddy and Fat Joe. The unnamed show, backed by LeBron James' SpringHill production studio, became a point of contention for the rapper.
"This is a s*** head move for STARZ," 50 Cent stated, condemning the network for not canceling the show in light of Diddy's recent charges. He subsequently decided against selling new series to STARZ, pointing to Diddy's involvement as a deal-breaker.

"I have no idea why they wouldn't clean this up but I'm not selling any new series to this network," 50 revealed. "This is why I said I'll wait to do the show."
In an interview with Hot97, 50 Cent delved deeper into his strained relationship with STARZ CEO Jeffrey Hirsch. He attributed this tension to Hirsch's previous connection with Diddy, particularly referencing Hirsch's role in setting up Diddy's media network, Revolt. "I don't give a f*** what your job title is," 50 Cent remarked, underscoring his belief in his own superior influence and branding power over Hirsch's executive title.

The friction between 50 Cent and STARZ has historical roots, but recent events have brought it to a head. Hirsch's stance is that collaboration, even with controversial figures like Diddy, is essential for innovation and viewership growth. However, 50 Cent's pragmatic approach demands transparent and respectful business relationships, escalating the ongoing discord.

This split is not without consequence. 50 Cent's departure impacts STARZ significantly given his substantial viewership and fanbase. As he transitions to Lionsgate, where he will launch the "50 Cent Action" channel, STARZ faces challenges in maintaining its audience metrics and production quality.
50 Cent's proactive approach includes establishing boundaries and fostering professional integrity, reflecting his seasoned navigation of the complex entertainment industry. While the severance from STARZ marks a new chapter, it also underscores broader industry challenges regarding the balance of business and personal dynamics.

Ed Sheeran Wins Marvin Gaye Plagiarism Suit in Appeals Court

Ed Sheeran can finally put the plagiarism lawsuit alleging he copied a Marvin Gaye classic behind him now that he’s beat it, again, in Appeals Court.
Billboard reports that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit rejected the infringement lawsuit from Structured Asset Sales (a minority stake owner of Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On”) in regards to Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.”

In the decision that was written by the judges panel, they wrote about the song, “The four-chord progression at issue—ubiquitous in pop music—even coupled with a syncopated harmonic rhythm, is too well-explored to meet the originality threshold that copyright law demands. Overprotecting such basic elements would threaten to stifle creativity and undermine the purpose of copyright law.”

The decision also allegedly noted the lack of similarities in other areas of “Thinking Out Loud” and “Let’s Get It On,” writing: “Neither the melody nor the lyrics of ‘Thinking Out Loud’ bears any resemblance to those in ‘Let’s Get It On.’ Undeniable and obvious differences exist between them.”
The lawsuit was originally brought forward last year by the heirs of Ed Townsend — the songwriter and producer who co-wrote Marvin Gaye’s classic song. The Townsend estate, including his daughter, Kathryn Townsend Griffin, sister Helen McDonald, and the estate of his former wife, Cherrigale Townsend, sought $100 million in damages. Investment banker David Pullman and Structured Asset Sales were also involved since SSA is a “beneficial owner of the song’s copyright” according to a legal filing.

While in court for the case, Sheeran revealed that he would be “stopping” his musical career if he was found guilty for having copied Gaye’s song. “I find it really insulting to my work my whole life as a singer-songwriter and diminish it,” he explained.
Last May, Sheeran was found to not be liable for copying “Let’s Get It On” — with the verdict claiming that he did not replicate key harmonies and melodies from Gaye’s famous song.

Naturi Naughton Calls 50 Cent’s Comments About Omari Hardwick Overvaluing Himself ‘Insane
Naturi Naughton is not hearing what 50 Cent is trying to say about Omari Hardwick.
In case you missed it, 50 Cent and Omari Hardwick, once close collaborators on the STARZ series Power, appear to be at odds over Hardwick’s recent remarks regarding his compensation for the show.
In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson expressed frustration, saying he believes Hardwick “overvalues” himself, especially since the actor hasn’t been part of any notable projects since Power concluded in 2020.

“I think he overvalues himself,” 50 Cent told the show hosts. “Because… it’s been a long time since he’s been in Power, why are we not excited about the new projects?”
Charlamagne Tha God, seeming puzzled, asked, “What new projects? I didn’t know…”
“See, that’s what I’m talking about,” 50 replied. “If there was noise going on, if he was that big of a draw, then we would see noise, we would see new things happening. We’d see you out where you’re actively in a place where they’re looking for you.”

When asked if they still have a good relationship, 50 responded bluntly: “No, because you leave it like it’s me not giving you the money.”
“That’s insane to me,” Naturi Naughton said to TMZ in response to 50’s statements. “Omari is literally the epitome of Power. Omari Hardwick started this amazing journey and I don’t know all of what happened with 50 and O. But I’ll say this: I love Omari Hardwick. He’s an amazingly talented human and he’s also a good person. But there would be no Power without Ghost.”

If you don’t know the why of it all, the tension traces back to a June 2022 episode of The Pivot podcast, where Hardwick shared that he earned $150,000 per episode on Power, a figure he felt was too low given his role as “the face of the network.” Hardwick revealed, “I still haven’t made what I should have made. I still never made the money—no, the money, I never made what I should have made. Never. Period. It’s happening now, finally.” He added that he had to borrow money from 50 Cent to support his family during production breaks and was proud to have repaid it. Hardwick suggested that 50 and series producer Courtney Kemp knew he was being underpaid, although he primarily blamed STARZ.

As for 50 Cent, even a minor mention of his name alongside Hardwick’s compensation issues was reason to take offense. “If you’re saying, ‘Courtney and 50 know,’ you’re saying that, but they don’t know who Courtney is—I introduced people to her. They don’t know who she is, so you’re leaving it as, ‘50 didn’t make sure I got paid.’ Mary [J. Blige] will tell you, she got paid a lot of money on the show the whole time. I made sure that sh*t was right.”
