Barack Obama for InStyle US - January 2021!
Former president of America Barack Obama stars in the cover story of InStyle Magazine‘s January 2021 edition captured by fashion photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis.
I think people know Michelle well enough to know how amazing she can be as a public speaker. They probably are less aware of what it’s like to work out with Michelle when she’s really in her groove. And sometimes that includes her boxing. You don’t want to get in the way when she’s working on a bag – including some kicks. There’s force there. – Obama
Barack Obama released A Promised Land memoir on November 17, 2020, available in hardcover, digital and audiobook formats.
#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Responds To Rumor She Cheated on Gregg With French Montana!
NeNe Leakes confronted the rumor about her stepping out on her husband, Gregg, with a famous rapper.
During a virtual appearance on Wednesday's "The Real," the former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star was asked about her relationship with Gregg and if she was having a tryst with French Montana.
"NeNe, you are always making headlines," began host Garcelle Beauvais. "Have you heard from French? Is this true? Give me the details. Give me the tea."
"Honey," NeNe, 52, began with a laugh. "Light-skinned French Montana? Honeeeey. Not my type, ok? I love French. He's super fun. He showed me a lot of love, but he's not my type of guy."
"So I didn't get a chance to cheat on Gregg. Dang," she quipped. "No, there's always rumors about me doing something."
Nene and Gregg met in 1996 and were married six months later. They welcomed son Brentt in 1999. In 2011, they divorced, only to reconcile a year later and remarry in 2013.
"When you've been with somebody as long as I've been with Gregg for 25 years, you know your mate, you know what they will do and what they won't do," she said on the show. "Like Gregg, I know his type and I bet he knows mine. And with French Montana -- I think Gregg would be like, 'Chile, bye.'"
In April, NeNe shut down rumors that she and Gregg had an open relationship after it was brought up on her most recent season of "RHOA."
"I think the reason why people think that is because first of all, they see there's an age difference between Gregg and I, but what they have not considered is that I've been with Gregg since I was 28 years old and he was young," she explained to Extra. "So I think they feel like, well, now that he's gotten a bit older, are they doing anything in the bedroom? Well, the answer to that question is -- we're doing a lot in the bedroom."
"I am a flirt and my husband knows that I'm very open about it," she added. "I like to flirt. But I'm not sleeping with these men. And my husband is very much okay with that."

Mo'Nique Demands an Apology From Tyler Perry and Oprah After Will Smith and Janet Hubert Make Amends!
Mo'Nique still wants her public apology. On Wednesday, Nov. 18, HBO Max aired a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion that saw Will Smith and Janet Hubert, the first actress to play his mother on the '90s comedy series, make amends after decades of feuding. An act Mo'Nique is applauding—and one she hopes Tyler Perry is taking note of.
"Hats off to Will Smith for apologizing for what he did to Janet Huberts (everybody's Aunt Viv) career/life when he was young," she wrote in a Thursday, Nov. 19 Instagram post. "Perhaps Tyler Perry, who has admitted in private that he was wrong will follow suit & be man enough to apologize in public like he promised. We'll work on Oprah [Winfrey] & Lions Gate a little later."
Mo'Nique told her long-standing foe Tyler, with whom she has been feuding for a few years, "P.S. Tyler you won E! PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD for being the peoples champ for your body of work. Tell the truth about a women named Mo'Nique who did nothing wrong & be a champion for the individuals who supported your career for years....THE BLACK WOMEN...PLEASE SWIPE TO HEAR TYLER PERRY SAY IT WITH HIS OWN WORDS."
Tyler and Oprah, who served as executive producers on Precious, have not commented on Mo'Nique's remarks. The 52-year-old included in her post an audio recording of a man presumed to be Tyler calling her "brilliantly talented" and saying she should "have a lot more happening" since she won her Oscar for Precious in 2010. The date of the conversation is unclear.
"I thought for sure that if you had campaigned and won it and played by their rules, what would have happened is in the Netflix deal, you would have gotten millions of dollars, then your career in film would have been much different," the man said. "I believe that much in your talent."
In 2018, Mo'Nique sued Netflix for alleged race and sex discrimination. She accused the company of low balling her on an offer to produce a comedy special. Netflix said in response, "We care deeply about inclusion, equity, and diversity and take any accusations of discrimination very seriously. We believe our opening offer to Mo'Nique was fair—which is why we will be fighting this lawsuit."
Mo'Nique has long said in interviews she was accused of being "difficult" and criticized for not promoting Precious internationally. In 2015, she told the Hollywood Reporter that Precious director Lee Daniels told her she was "blackballed" after her Oscar win because she "didn't play the game." Daniels denied saying this.
"There have been people that have said, 'Mo'Nique, she can be difficult. Mo'Nique and her husband can be difficult,'" Mo'Nique told The Hollywood Reporter. "They could probably be right. One of the networks said to [Lee] that I was 'really difficult to work with.' And I said, 'Well, that's funny, because I've never even worked with them, but OK.'"
In 2018, she released a secretly recorded phone conversation between herself and Tyler in which he said that things would have gone differently for her career had she played "the game." Mo'Nique has in the past acknowledged her refusal to accept this advice from him. In the phone call, he also said he planned to find out how much Precious made and send it to her.
It is unclear if the audio recordings Mo'Nique released on Thursday were from the same past phone conversation.
"Here's the thing: He's never done it. We had given Tyler Perry a year to keep his word," Mo'Nique told Vulture in 2019. "Brother, you said you were going to come out and say something. Well, you never came out and said anything. And what was disheartening was people who were saying, 'How could you tape him?' But, they weren't saying, 'Oh my God, did you hear what he said? He said she wasn't wrong. He said he was going to say she wasn't wrong.'"
Mo'Nique then made a plea to Tyler. "There was never any. We didn't accept any money. We just said, 'Tyler, clear my name. Give me back my reputation.' No one's ever heard of me being difficult, being a problem, being nothing, until this movie Precious came. Until Mo'Nique said some words that sound like no. Then it's, 'Oh my God, you're a problem.'"
Mo'Nique has also feuded with Oprah for allegedly not defending her publicly. In February, the comedienne penned an open letter to the host and TV mogul on Instagram.
"You've watched me as a black woman, be accused of being difficult for not promoting Precious internationally for Lions Gate, at Lions Gate, Tyler Perry and your request, despite the fact my deal was with Lee Daniels Entertainment (sic) ," Mo'Nique wrote on Instagram. "How are you for black women when you hear Tyler on audio saying I was right and he was going to speak up but you or him still haven't said a word?"
Mo'Nique said that she first met Winfrey at age 16 at the host's show in Baltimore. "I told you I wanted to be just like you when I grew up," Mo'Nique said. "You responded, 'you have to work really really hard.' My sixteen year old self didn't know that you in your silence in the face of wrongdoing, would make my life 'harder.'"
Oprah has not responded publicly to Mo'Nique's comments.

Taraji P. Henson Reflects on How She’s Doing Since Ending Engagement: ‘I Am Much Better’!
Taraji P. Henson is opening up about how she's doing since announcing her split from fiancΓ© Kelvin Hayden last month.
"I am much better, let's put it that way," the actress, 50, told Entertainment Tonight ahead of her hosting gig at the American Music Awards on Sunday.
Henson revealed that she and Hayden had split during an appearance on The Breakfast Club morning radio show in October, nearly two years after the former NFL star proposed.
"I haven’t said it yet but it didn’t work out," Henson said at the time of her romance with Hayden, 37. "I tried, I said, 'let’s do the therapy thing' but if you’re both not on the same page with that, then you feel like you’re taking it on yourself and that’s not a fair position for anybody to play in a relationship."
Though she did not disclose the reason behind the breakup or when they decided to call it quits at the time, Henson stressed the importance of internal happiness separate from romantic relationships.
“My happiness is not his responsibility and his is not mine. We have to first learn how to make ourselves happy, to make each other happy. So when one person is taking on the weight of the entire relationship, it’s never going to work,” she added. “You have to show up, yes you want to be understanding but you can’t lose yourself in that understanding. You have to still stand up for yourself and be there for yourself but it’s hard to do if the other person isn’t doing that either."
Talking to ET this week, the Empire star noted that celebrating a major birthday milestone — her 50th — in September prompted her to change her outlook.
"I felt myself slipping and so I was like, 'You know what I am not going to do is let 50 happen to me," Henson said. "I am going to get control of this mentally and not be like, 'You are getting old, don't nobody care, you ain't working,' Well, duh, no one is working, it is COVID. So I felt that coming."
Henson, who said that she doesn't "have those low lows anymore," also offered some advice to others who may be having a tough time — "So anybody out there, that might be going through this darkness, literally, working out, it really works.
Summer Walker Confirms Pregnancy, Reveals Baby Bump!
Summer Walker is pregnant! On Friday (November 20), the "Body" singer took to Instagram to confirm her pregnancy following weeks of speculation.
"ππππππ," Summer captioned a photo of herself smiling and cradling her baby bump. As fans know, the 24-year-old singer has faced pregnancy rumors for the last month. After showing what fans assumed was her baby bump during an Instagram Live session in October, many speculated that she was expecting her first child with on-again-off-again boyfriend London On Da Track.
However, Summer denied the pregnancy rumors, writing on her Instagram Story, "Y’all weirdos. Who demands a stranger to tell you if [they’re] pregnant. Lol and what kinda creep wants someone else to have a baby that they will never meet or help them raise. & the answer is no b*tch I’m bloated but y’all weird.”
That same month, she also announced that she and London had broken up. "Officially single lol. Eventually you have to give some kind of a f**k about yourself,” she wrote on Instagram,
Megan Thee Stallion's Ex-Friend Kelsey Responds To 'Shots Fired' Diss!
Things between Megan Thee Stallion and her ex-bestie Kelsey Nicole are getting heated.
This week, the “Savage” rapper celebrated the release of her long-awaited debut album, Good News. Among the LP’s 17 tracks includes a record titled “Shots Fired,” on which Megan recounts the July 2020 shooting incident involving Tory Lanez, who she claimed shot her and offered her hush money following the traumatic situation.
While Meg makes it clear that she’s referring to Lanez in the song, another set of bars appear to be aimed at her former best friend, Nicole. At one point on the track, Meg spits, “Who you takin' shots at, goofy-ass b—h?/ Watchin' me succeed from your knees, suckin' d—k/ I know you want attention from the n—s that I get/I'm a steak, you a side plate, shrimp, stay in your place.”
Well, she’s since responded to the diss, as per a screenshot posted by The Shade Room. In response to one Instagram user tweeting the line “I know you want attention from the n—s I get,” Nicole hit back, “The most weirdo s—t she could’ve ever said.”
Another commenter who accused her of wanting to “be [Megan] so bad it’s sad,” Nicole replied, “lol I would never want a soul like hers. Face body don’t mean s—t. Relax.”
For context, Nicole was reported to have been one of four people who witnessed the shooting incident that resulted in Megan sustaining injuries that night. However, Nicole has remained more or less silent on the situation, and it was even speculated that she and Lanez had been romantic with each other when everything went down.
After being charged in connection to the alleged crime involving the Houston native last month, Lanez has since pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

Production on the highly-anticipated sequel to Marvel’s hit “Black Panther” is set to begin in July 2021.

Cast members Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett are reportedly all set to reprise their roles, and Netflix’s “Narcos” star Tenoch Huerta is reportedly in talks to play the movie’s new villain.

Dwyane Wade 'Appreciated' Mike Tyson Speaking Up About Transphobic Comments Against His Daughter!
Dwyane Wade is speaking out about Mike Tyson defending his family after rapper Boosie Badazz made transphobic comments about Wade's daughter.
During an interview with Central Ave on Friday, Wade said he “appreciated” Tyson for speaking up about Wade’s 13-year-old daughter, Zaya, who came out as transgender earlier this year.
“I actually talked to Mike about that early in the pandemic,” the former pro basketball player said. “We had a conversation. I appreciated from a standpoint of, you know, Mike is someone who has never tried to be perfect. He is someone who has learned from this journey of life.”
“He’s so smart. He is so educated and knowledgeable about life,” Wade, 38, continued. “For him to be able to drop that nugget on the world, to me, it was great to hear him say that.”
Tyson called out Boosie during an episode of his Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson podcast for making transphobic comments regarding Zaya earlier this summer. “I really commented on the Dwyane Wade situation because I got offended because it's a child,” Boosie tried to explain. “That's really why I got offended.”
Boosie continued and attempted to defend himself, with Tyson eventually asking him, “What happened to you that you think that you’re somebody that can comment on somebody’s life?”
On Friday, Wade shared that he understands that everyone has “their own journey towards accepting things.”
“I’ve never came out and said anything to anybody that feels a certain way about me or someone else in my family and my loved ones,” he said. “They don’t know us. They don’t know our heart. They definitely don’t know Zaya. So, all I do is what my mama say, ‘Just pray for them.’ ”
Wade, who is also dad to 2-year-old daughter Kaavia James and sons Xavier Zechariah, 7, and Zaire, 18, told PEOPLE in February that his hopes for Zaya are the same as for his other children: “For them to see their full potential.”
“As I’m raising [Zaya], as I’m raising my kids, you just try to put them in the best situations to be able to succeed in life,” he said. “How I do that, and how me and my wife decide to do that, may be different than another family, but we want them to know there’s always unconditional love, that it will always be support.”
Wade added, “We’ve got you, no matter what. And we see you. … I see you how you see you.
Proposed Divorce Agreement Between Derek Chauvin And His Wife Rejected For Possible Fraud!
A Washington County District judge rejected a proposed divorce agreement between Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in George Floyd‘s death, and his estranged wife, citing the possibility of fraud.
According to Fox 9, Judge Juanita Freeman wrote that a transfer of “substantially all” of one’s assets to another in an uncontested marriage dissolution is a “badge of fraud” and rejected the proposal.
The order filed on Oct. 26th proposed an agreement that would give Chauvin’s estranged wife Kellie all the equity in their homes, all of their funds in the bank and investment accounts, and all of Derek’s pension and retirement accounts, except for the nonmarital portion of all but two accounts.
Judge Freeman’s order states the two can submit a revised agreement to be considered by the court, but the next version must include a balance sheet showing each person’s amount of debt.
The Chauvins were already charged with Tax fraud earlier this year after being accused of failing to file several years of income tax and under-reporting their income.
