Paul McCartney & Taylor Swift for Rolling Stone - December 2020!
Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney interview each other in 'Rolling Stone': "This was so awesome!"
Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift, photographed in London on October 6th, 2020, by Mary McCartney
Yesterday, Paul McCartney tweeted a series of dice emojis -- 13 in all. Hard-core Taylor Swift fans, aware that "13" is Taylor's lucky number, immediately predicted a collaboration between her and the Beatles legend. Well, they were right, though it's not a musical one.
Paul and Taylor have interviewed each other for the "Musicians on Musicians" cover story in the new issue of Rolling Stone. Posting a photo of the cover, which shows them standing together with her arm around Paul's shoulder, Taylor wrote, "It only took one day to confirm what I had suspected for years: Paul McCartney is the loveliest person alive."
In their wide-ranging chat, Taylor, who's close friends with McCartney's daughter Stella, fangirls over the legend, and even asks him to write down her favorite lyric by him and sign it for her. The two discuss songwriting, celebrity and the fact that they both recorded albums in lockdown: her Folklore and his McCartney III, coming out in December.
Taylor says one big lesson she learned from seeing Paul live is that you've got to play the hits, even though you've "played them 300 million times."
"The people who come to our shows have spent a lot of money," Paul explains. "We can afford to go to a couple of shows and it doesn’t make much difference. But a lot of ordinary working folks…it’s a big event in their life, and so I try and deliver."
Taylor also says she admires Paul's ability to balance his fame and family life, saying she can't control whether or not there are "20 photographers outside in the bushes."
"So how does that go? Does your partner sympathize with that and understand?" Paul asks. "Oh, absolutely," Taylor responds, referring to her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. She also reveals that her song "Peace" is about "trying to find bits of normalcy" with him.
At one point, Taylor brings up the fact that had COVID-19 not happened, both of them would have played the U.K.'s Glastonbury festival -- and Paul reveals that he would've asked Taylor to perform with him.
"I would’ve done 'Shake It Off,'" he reveals, leading Taylor to gush, "Oh, my God, that would have been amazing."

#MusicNews: Jeremih Hospitalized With COVID-19, Friends Call For Prayers!
Prayers up for Jeremih. On Saturday (Nov. 14), producer Hitmaka took to Instagram to reveal that the “Don’t Tell ‘Em” singer was battling an unknown illness and asked his followers to send their prayers.
“I need everyone to pray for my brother @jeremih,” he wrote alongside a photo of Jeremih, adding, “This message is posted with his mothers blessings.”
Taking to his IG Story, Hitmaka also shared his concern for Jeremih’s wellbeing and was optimistic that he would recover.
“My dawg changed my life he gone pull thru pray for @jeremih,” Hitmaka said. “We need that energy. Pray for my brother he gone shake back.”
It’s unclear what happened to the Chicago singer, but his Instagram comments have been flooded with concerned fans, some of whom have speculated that he may have a COVID-related illness. Jeremih’s celebrity friends including Fabolous, Twista, and Chance the Rapper also sent their prayers.
“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now,” Chance tweeted. “I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him.”
Hitmaka and Jeremih both appeared on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and collaborated on songs including Big Sean’s “Bounce Back.” During a 2019 interview with Power 105.1, Hitmaka spoke about their friendship. “Jeremih is always gonna be my favorite person to work with because he changed my life,” he said.
UPDATE: Jeremih is in the hospital battling COVID-19. According to TMZ, the 33-year-old singer is “fighting for his life” in the ICU and the “prognosis is bleak.” Sources say he is currently on a breathing ventilator and his condition has recently worsened. It’s unclear when he was admitted or how long he’s had the virus.
#HipHopNews: Gucci Mane & Jeezy Verzuz Battle Will Happen After All!
Jeezy was expected to go up against T.I. in the Season 2 opener of Verzuz on Thursday (November 19) but according to Gucci Mane, that’s no longer the case. On Saturday (November 14), the 1017 Records boss fired off an Instagram post that put himself firmly in Tip’s role — with no explanation.
“Tell buddy Get ready,” he wrote alongside a flyer for the event. “Thursday Nov 19 @verzuztv Trap God vs Snowcone.”
A mere five days ago, Jeezy appeared on The Breakfast Club where he revealed Gucci had declined to participate in a Verzuz event with him.
“I was like, ‘Swizz if I do it, it’s only one person I’ll do it with,’” he said. “And he was like, ‘Who?’ and I was like, ‘Gucci. Reach out to him. Let me know what’s up.’ I did that. I reached out, Swizz hit back and said he respectfully declined. Cool, kept it moving. I was gonna do it for the culture.
“We could have did it for the culture. I hung up the phone, three minutes later – that’s when I seen my brother video calling me out.”
For whatever reason, Gucci had a change of heart and is jumping in the ring with former rival. In 2015, The Fader ran an oral history about Gucci’s career and touched on his rift with The Snowman.
Gucci’s former manager Greg Street said Def Jam Recordings was trying to attribute the collaborative song “Icy” to Jeezy since he was signed to the imprint, but Gucci refused to concede.
“Def Jam wanted the record to launch Jeezy’s career,” Street said back then. “But at the time, Gucci’s whole thing was, ‘Jeezy’s trying to take my record.’ I was trying to make Gucci understand that it can be beneficial to you, too, in some circumstances, to let the signed person have the record, because it’s still going to be your record regardless of who puts it out.
“And if it happens, if it blows up, sky’s the limit for what you can ask for in a deal. But he didn’t really understand that as a new artist. That’s how the whole beef started.”
As fate would have it, Jeezy was recently named Def Jam interim Chairman & CEO Jeff Harleston’s Senior Advisor for A&R and Artist Development, bringing his career full circle.
Meanwhile, Tip shed a little more light on the upcoming battle and basically agreed the new matchup would be a more dynamic event.
“Now THIS…. Is what the people wants to see,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “@therealswizzz @timbaland @jeezy @laflare1017 Trap Muzik salutes y’all. @verzuztv 11-19-2020.”
Gospel Artist Fred Hammond Was Diagnosed with COVID-19!
Gospel legend Fred Hammond has revealed that he had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
He says that he let his guard down once and contracted the virus, testing positive. The 59-year-old artist explains:
“I’m a mask wearer, but I let it down (and) my guard down in one place. The good thing is if this happened last year on the Commissioned tour, I probably wouldn’t have made it because I was really sick.”
“I thank God for that so now this has come I have a better chance of fighting it. I still have good hope. I’m feeling better everyday. It is what it is. You can’t worry about it. God is in control.”

Spacex Launches 2nd Crew, Regular Station Crew Flights Begin!
SpaceX launched four astronauts to the International Space Station on Sunday on the first full-fledged taxi flight for NASA by a private company.
The Falcon rocket thundered into the night from Kennedy Space Center with three Americans and one Japanese, the second crew to be launched by SpaceX. The Dragon capsule on top — named Resilience by its crew in light of this year’s many challenges, most notably COVID-19 — reached orbit nine minutes later. It is due to reach the space station late Monday and remain there until spring.
“By working together through these difficult times, you’ve inspired the nation, the world, and in no small part the name of this incredible vehicle, Resilience,” Commander Mike Hopkins said right before liftoff.
Once reaching orbit, he radioed: “That was one heck of a ride.”
Sidelined by the coronavirus himself, SpaceX founder and chief executive Elon Musk was forced to monitor the action from afar. He tweeted that he “most likely” had a moderate case of COVID-19. NASA policy at Kennedy Space Center requires anyone testing positive for coronavirus to quarantine and remain isolated.
Sunday’s launch follows by just a few months SpaceX’s two-pilot test flight. It kicks off what NASA hopes will be a long series of crew rotations between the U.S. and the space station, after years of delay. More people means more science research at the orbiting lab, according to officials.
Cheers and applause erupted at SpaceX Mission Control in Hawthorne, California, after the capsule reached orbit and the first-stage booster landed on a floating platform in the Atlantic. Musk tweeted a single red heart.
At Kennedy, he was replaced by SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell. She wouldn’t give Musk’s whereabouts, but said he was “tied in very closely to the launch.”
“I have a series of texts to prove it,” Shotwell told reporters.
The flight to the space station — 27 1/2 hours door to door — should be entirely automated, although the crew can take control if needed. SpaceX had to deal with pressure pump spikes once the capsule reached orbit, but quickly resolved the issue.
With COVID-19 still surging, NASA continued the safety precautions put in place for SpaceX’s crew launch in May. The astronauts went into quarantine with their families in October. All launch personnel wore masks, and the number of guests at Kennedy was limited. Even the two astronauts on the first SpaceX crew flight stayed behind at Johnson Space Center in Houston.
Vice President Mike Pence, chairman of the National Space Council, joined NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine to watch the launch.
“I didn’t start breathing until about a minute after it took off,” Pence said during a stop at SpaceX Launch Control to congratulate the workers.
Outside the space center gates, spectators crowded into nearby beaches and towns. NASA worried a weekend liftoff — coupled with a dramatic nighttime launch — could lead to a superspreader event. They urged the crowds to wear masks and maintain safe distances. Similar pleas for SpaceX’s first crew launch on May 30 went unheeded.
“In such a crazy year, we have finally some great news,” said Sophia Giallanza, who came from Miami with her husband and son to see their first launch. “So it’s really wonderful.”
The three-men, one-woman crew led by Hopkins, an Air Force colonel, named their capsule Resilience in a nod not only to the pandemic, but also racial injustice and contentious politics. It’s about as diverse as space crews come, including physicist Shannon Walker, Navy Cmdr. Victor Glover, the first Black astronaut on a long-term space station mission, and Japan’s Soichi Noguchi, who became the first person in almost 40 years to launch on three types of spacecraft.
They rode out to the launch pad in Teslas — another Musk company — after exchanging high-fives and hand embraces with their children and spouses, who huddled at the open car windows.
Besides its sleek design and high-tech features, the Dragon capsule is quite spacious — it can carry up to seven people. Previous space capsules have launched with no more than three. The extra room in this newest capsule was used for science experiments and supplies.
The four astronauts will be joining two Russians and one American who flew to the space station last month from Kazakhstan. The orbiting outpost soared over the launch site a mere half-minute before liftoff.
The first-stage booster is expected to be recycled by SpaceX for the next crew launch. That’s currently targeted for the end of March, which would set up the newly launched astronauts for a return to Earth in April.
In the next 15 months, SpaceX should be flying roughly seven Dragon missions for NASA, both crew and cargo, Shotwell said.
While Bridenstine noted it was a beautiful launch, he stressed: “This is a six-month mission and it’s the first of many.”
“When you’re flying into space, there’s always risk and we will always be diligent,” he added.
SpaceX and NASA wanted the booster recovered so badly that they delayed the launch attempt by a day, to give the floating platform time to reach its position in the Atlantic over the weekend following rough seas.
Boeing, NASA’s other contracted crew transporter, is trailing by a year. A repeat of last December’s software-plagued test flight without a crew is off until sometime early next year, with the first astronaut flight of the Starliner capsule not expected before summer.
NASA turned to private companies to haul cargo and crew to the space station, after the shuttle fleet retired in 2011. SpaceX qualified for both. With Kennedy back in astronaut-launching action, NASA can stop buying seats on Russian Soyuz rockets. The last one cost $90 million.
The commander of SpaceX’s first crew, Doug Hurley, noted it’s not just about saving money or easing the training burdens for crews.
“Bottom line: I think it’s just better for us to be flying from the United States if we can do that,”
Jennifer Lopez Gives Inspiring Speech at People's Choice Awards 2020 After Being Named the People's Icon!
The 51-year-old actress and singer was awarded the special People’s Icon of 2020 honor.
Jennifer gave an inspiring speech that touched on things that have happened in 2020, the highlights in her career, and paving the way for young Latina girls.
“Man, 2020 was no joke right? I mean before 2020 we were obsessing about winning this award or getting nominated for that award or we were caught up in who sold the most records or box office opening or crazy stuff like did we get the latest drop before anybody else. But not this year. This year was the great leveler,” Jennifer said during her speech.
She continued, “It showed us what mattered, what didn’t. And for me, reinforced what mattered most: People, all of us, together. Helping each other, loving each other, being kind to each other. And the importance of that connection, that human touch. I realized that’s what I strive for in everything I do. To reach people, to touch people. I believe that’s what we all want, those shared experiences to know that we’re not in this alone. Your belief and your faith in me motivates me to keep going and sometimes when I’m tired or beaten down, like a lot of us have been this year, it’s my family, friends, my babies and my fans, you guys, who have lifted me up when I couldn’t lift myself. I am so grateful to have you, to have that in my life.”
“You know I approach my career the same way I approach my life. I lead with life, I feel with my heart and I always try to speak truth in telling stories, singing songs. I do so with the purpose of bringing a little happiness, creating beauty and inspiring others to do the same. From being a little girl in the Bronx, New York, and having the privilege of performing on some of the biggest stages in the world, and even at the Super Bowl earlier this year, that was a biggie! I have seen and learned a lot and I am still learning. I want to thank you and tell you how much I appreciate you for letting me do that in front of you for all of these years,” Jennifer said.
She added, “As a Latina and as a woman, we have to work twice as hard to get the opportunities, sometimes my big dreams and my ambitions, it made the people around me nervous. ‘You can’t be an actress. You’re an actress, what you want to sing? You’re an artist, you won’t be taken seriously as a businesswoman.’ The more that they said I couldn’t, the more I knew that I had to. So now here I stand so very grateful knowing that the true measure of my success is not in box office numbers or records sold, but from the love that I feel from all of you.”
Jennifer got emotional and continued, “The true measure is inspiring girls in all ages and all colors, from all over the world, to know you can do whatever want, as many things as you want and to be proud of who you are no matter where you come from. I want them to know your dreams are limited only by your imagination, determination and their willingness to never give up. If I have touched you or them in any small way, then this is the greatest award I could ever receive. I accept this award with great humility and gratitude, and hope we can begin to heal as a country and stand together united and proud, and in harmony.”
Niecy Nash & Her Wife Went On A Double Date With Da Brat & Girlfriend Jessica Dupart!
Love is definitely in the air! Newlyweds Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts recently had a double date with Rapper/radio host Da Brat and her fiancΓ© Jessica Dupart. Actress Niecy Nash took to her Instagram and shared a photo of the four hanging out and captioned the post,
“LOVE WINS. Sharing energy w/ @jessicabettsmusic @darealbbjudy @sosobrat”
Both couples have recently been a hot topic of conversation. Niecy Nash shocked fans back in September when she revealed that she married singer Jessica Betts. The marriage comes less than a year after her divorce from ex-husband Jay Tucker.
Jessica Betts and Niecy Nash met more than four years ago but didn’t become close until Jessica was featured on Niecy Nash’s TV series, Claws, in 2018. In a recent interview, Niecy spoke on the reactions she received after marrying a woman.
“I was asked, ‘Is this your official coming out?’ and I was like, ‘Coming out from where?’ I wasn’t anywhere to come out of. I never lived a sexually repressed life. I just love who I love when I love them.”
Da Brat and her fiancΓ©, entrepreneur Jessica Dupart celebrated their 1 year anniversary in July. This love story started when Da Brat’s sister, actress LisaRaye McCoy, introduced them. LisaRaye McCoy previously said of Jesseca Dupart:
“I met her before she even met my sister. She and I were doing some videos for her Kaleidoscope products because she was actually a fan. So we reenacted a ‘Player’s Club’ scene and did a couple of videos together. So when she reached out to have my sister try her [haircare miracle] drops, then they actually made a rapport with each other and built a friendship. What came out of that is what we see on Instagram now.”
On their 1 year anniversary, Jessica Dupart shared a heartwarming message on her Instagram:
“1 year ago today we became US, flirted back and forth off n on for about a year before that, and were friends for like a year before that. Never would I have expected such a blessing in you. The kindest , mildest , most considerate , pay attention to every detail , inspiring person I know. Your LOVE is like no other. I LOVE U LIKE I NEVER EVER LOVED BEFORE , it feels unreal sometimes @sosobrat HAPPY ANNIVERSARY…cheers to spending the rest of our lives together”
Da Brat has always been private about her love life. Rumors about her sexuality have been a topic of speculation for many years. It has only been recently, that the rapper has spoken out and been more open about her love life. She recently explained that her mom wasn’t necessarily supportive of her lifestyle.
“Yeah, my mom is not, like, jumping for joy, she’s not going to condone it, but she loves me unconditionally. No one in my family has said anything bad or degrading.”
Ciara And Russell Wilson Launch Couple’s Fragrance!
Ciara and Russell Wilson are getting into the beauty business.
The multi-platinum singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback have teamed up to launch two new fragrances. Created in partnership with Hampton Beauty, the R&C fragrance duo will be released Nov. 17.
“We wanted our scents to be able to be very strong individually but also be stronger together,” Wilson told WWD.
The perfume bottles wrap around each other and connect via magnet to create a unified structure. The process, which started “in the thick of quarantine,” was a labor of love for the power couple.
“This was something, I can say, made us smile. It gave us something to laugh about,” said Ciara, while Wilson added, “We had several date nights all around fragrance.”
Ciara’s perfume features pink peppercorn, peony, and sandalwood, while Wilson’s scent combines black tea, lavender, and musk. “I like scents to be distinctive,” Ciara said. “I want it to be memorable. I always think about the feeling that I get when I smell someone that smells so fresh….You remember that scent. It leaves a mark on you.”
“For me, I really wanted to put out something sexy,” Wilson shared. “When you walk in the room, I think you want the man to bring a presence without overdoing it. That’s kind of something I’ve always wanted to feel.”
The R&C fragrance duo will be available exclusively at RandCFragrance.com for $90. A portion of sales will benefit the couple’s Why Not You Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to education, children’s health, and fighting poverty, while empowering today’s youth.
Benny The Butcher Shot During Attempted Robbery At Houston Walmart!
-- A New York rapper visiting Houston has become the latest victim of gun violence in Texas.
According to police, Benny the Butcher was shot in the leg over the weekend in an attempted armed robbery at the Walmart store on S. Rice Avenue in southwest Houston.
The rapper, whose real name is Jeremie Pennick, was visiting Houston and went to the store to pick up some items. As he was getting out of his Rolls Royce, police said a group of men went up to Pennick and demanded his chains and necklaces.
As Pennick was running away, police said the suspects started shooting, striking the rapper once in the leg. Police said he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Meanwhile, two other people who were with Pennick at the time of the shooting were not injured.
A description of the suspects was not immediately released, but investigators said they were seen in a Chevy Malibu.
According to Spotify, Pennick recently signed a management deal with Roc Nation, an entertainment agency founded by notable rapper Jay-Z.
Just last week, Dallas rapper Mo3 was shot and killed during a daytime attack on a highway in the city.
Sylvester Stallone Confirms Suicide Squad Role!
After decades in the industry, Sylvester Stallone is still one of the busiest stars in Hollywood. The 74-year-old actor just wrapped on his new superhero movie, Samaritan, and is also working on a director’s cut of Rocky IV, which he’s been hyping up for a while. Now, the actor is poised to enter another superhero film in the form of James Gunn’ The Suicide Squad, and he announced the news in a sweet post.
Sylvester Stallone posted a video to his Instagram account in which he confirmed that he has preparing to film his role for The Suicide Squad. The clip has since been deleted, but the actor re-posted the news in a different post, in which he praised James Gunn and his team:
Working with this incredible Director on this astounding project has made this an amazing year. I am a very lucky man to be surrounded by such talent.!
James Gunn also took to Instagram to confirm the news of Stallone’s casting and showered praise on the veteran actor. The two previously worked together on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Gunn favorably compared his work on Squad to their past collaboration:
Always love working with my friend @officialslystallone & our work today on The Suicide Squad was no exception. Despite Sly being an iconic movie star, most people still don’t have any idea what an amazing actor this guy is.
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Sylvester Stallone played the role of Stakar Ogord a.k.a. Starhawk, a Ravager and estranged comrade of Michael Rooker’s Yondu. The film established that the two were on the outs after Yondu broke the Ravagers’ trafficking code. However, when Yondu sacrifices himself to save the Guardians, Stakar and his fellow Ravagers arrive to pay tribute to their fallen friend.
Stallone’s role in Guardians Vol. 2 may not have been large, but it did prove to be one of the more touching aspects of the film. Given that the actor is now just doing work on The Suicide Squad, which wrapped a while ago, it’s likely that his role isn’t too big. Still, James Gunn has found ways to work actors into films and give them brief, yet memorable, roles. Nathan Fillion’s quick voiceover cameo on Guardians of the Galaxy is a prime example of that.
James Gunn is a bit of a wild card when it comes to his superhero casting, but there’s a chance Sylvester Stallone could be playing a character from the comics. Though it’ll probably be a deep cut like Starhawk was. Gunn could reach back decades to pull a character for Stallone and, ahead of his appearance, it’ll be fun to speculate about his role.
The Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 6, 2021.
'The Kelly Clarkson Show' Staffers Test Positive For COVID-19!
Several Kelly Clarkson Show staffers tested positive for coronavirus this week.
In a report by Deadline, multiple people on the production team of Kelly Clarkson’s talk show received positive test results for the wide-spreading disease this Friday (November 13) after a routine test as part of the show’s COVID safety protocols. Due to the positives, contact tracing and retesting are now being involved in accordance with guidelines set by the state/county and the NBCU Production Playbook.
As People indicates, The Kelly Clarkson Show last filmed on Thursday (November 12), but given the outbreak, production is not expected to continue until November 17, pending results from the resting.
Despite being exposed to the virus, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Clarkson tested negative for COVID-19.
The American Idol alum’s passion project isn’t the first production to adjust to the threat of COVID-19 exposure, as it’s only the latest NBC-owned show to be affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Chicago Fire also delayed its production for two weeks due to multiple positive COVID-19 tests. The NBC drama had to push back filming its ninth season as the infected individuals often came in close contact with other members of the cast and crew.
Several stars were forced to skip the 2020 Country Music Association Awards due to COVID-19, including Lee Brice, who tested positive for the disease ahead of the event. Additionally, Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard had to pull out of his performance at the awards show after testing positive, as did Lady A, who ultimately canceled their CMA Awards set after COVID-19 exposure.
Worse, a myriad of hopeful TV shows suffered premature cancellations due to COVID-19 exposure, including Drunk History, The Society, On Becoming God in Central Florida, and Americanah.
Tower Records Is Relaunching As An Online Music Shop!
The iconic music store is back, just in time for the resurgence of vinyl.
14 years after shuttering most of its brick and mortar locations in the US and abroad, Tower Records appears to have caught a second wind.
Earlier this week the legendary music store relaunched as an online shop. And it’s already filling the digital shelves with essential wax, CDs, cassettes, and merch. They’ve also revived their in-store zine, Pulse!, as a spotlight for musicians and standout releases. According to the Bay Area’s ABC7, the announcement of a relaunch was initially going to take place at this year’s SXSW festival, which was canceled (along with virtually every other festival,) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The report notes there was also going to be pop-up installations at the festival and across the country, but those were obviously sidelined as a clear risk in the pandemic era. And so, a soft digital relaunch it is.
Tower Records was founded by Russ Solomon in Sacremento, CA in 1960. It grew in popularity and expanded into a chain soon after, opening nearly 200 locations in the US alone. In 2006, the company filed for bankruptcy and liquidated its inventory. In Japan, however, it only continued to grow as an independently run and owned subsidiary that was entirely unaffected by the stateside closures. To this day, there are more than 80 Tower Records locations all over Japan and it remains the country’s leading retailer of vinyl and CDs.
For a crash course on the history of Tower Records, you can watch Colin Hanks’ excellent documentary, All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records, which is available to stream for free on Youtube.

Donald Trump Finally Admits Joe Biden Won…Then Takes It Back!
President Donald Trump finally admits reality…kind of. It has been a week full of unsubstantiated conspiracy theories, as well as the current administration wrongly telling people that Trump indeed won the election. While they have refused to come to grips with Joe Biden winning the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada resulting in a projected 306 -232 electorial win for the former Vice President of the United States.
Today, (Nov. 15), Trump finally uttered the words he refused to say since the race was called last Saturday. That Biden has won the election. It happened through his favorite communication medium, Twitter.
“He won because the Election was Rigged,” he wrote. Note – there is no evidence the election was rigged. In a statement from the Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council Executive Committee, made up of many people appointed by the Trump administration, they said that the 2020 election was “the most secure in American history.” They also said that “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes or was in any way compromised.”
Of course, he later backtracked on those comments continuing to declare “we will win” and will “concede nothing.”
Again. It wasn’t a rigged election. By any stretch of the imagination.
Several outstanding lawsuits are still open in various states that helped secure Joe Biden the Presidential win. Friday (Nov. 13), was a bad day for his administration after the judge threw out various lawsuits in Pennsylvania and Michigan due to lack of evidence of fraud. Lawyers also backed out of a lawsuit in Arizona after realizing that no matter the decision from the judge it would not change the outcome in the state.
Electors are to officially cast their vote based on state results on December 14th. In nearly all cases, the electors vote based on the vote in their state. Joe Biden’s inauguration is set for January 20, 2021.
