#RHOA: 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' airs Kenya Moore 'revenge porn' stunt that led to exit
Months after "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kenya Moore was booted off the show, viewers are finally getting a look at the stunt that led to her exit.
Moore was originally set to appear throughout Season 16 but was suspended indefinitely from filming after an altercation with Brit Eady and, later, departed the series following claims that she displayed "revenge porn." Now, "RHOA" is airing the revenge porn incident in question.

On Sunday's episode of the Bravo series, "RHOA" vets Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey and Drew Sidora, and new castmembers Shamea Morton Mwangi, Eady, Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley attend Moore's hair spa grand opening.
Eady and Moore went back and forth earlier this season, with Eady at one point saying she had a "pistol." Eady later expressed remorse to other cast members for her actions and threatening Moore. Attending the grand opening, the insurance agent brought Moore flowers and a card as a peace offering, which Moore made a show of rejecting.

Eady then left the event, opening the floor for Moore to slam Eady for "looking for a moment," saying, "I'm going to pay you dust." The former Miss USA then revealed explicit photos of Eady – which she obtained via an investigator, she claimed – on poster boards, which Bravo blurred.
Immediately, Ferrell leaves, and the other women and guests in attendance express shock and disappointment at the act, saying Moore went "too far," which she immediately dismissed.

Kenya Moore not returning to 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' following 'revenge porn' incident
"I am mortified," Williams said in a confessional, later seen leaving, followed by Morton Mwangi and Oakley. "I didn't want to stand there and seem like I was in agreement. I don't support this."
"I didn't like that," said Bailey, who stood with Sidora in disbelief.

"I wasn't there, I didn't see what happened. I'm getting to know Brit, but I know you," Bailey told Moore. "I really hate that you let that (end) this way. I think you're bigger than this, and I think you're better than this."
"I am," Moore replied. "I'm glad everybody came, and I love you." She added: "I'm not gonna tolerate people blatantly disrespecting me anymore."
Outside, Williams told production, "We're ready to go right now. You can just act like I was never even at this event."
The episode ended with a disclaimer: "Based on Kenya's behavior, the decision was made to cease filming with her this season."

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 16 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.

#MusicNews: Eric Roberson And BJ The Chicago Kid Link up for New Single, “Where You Gonna Go”

Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer Eric Roberson  and BJ the Chicago Kid, another fellow Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, are taking us to church with their new single, “Where You Gonna Go,” which was just released today, April 4.
“Where You Gonna Go” has a gospel, old-school feel to it with the harmonies, ad libs, instrumentation, and the arrangement of the song. You can slow dance to this song or even meditate to it.

LISTEN HERE:

Written by Roberson, BJ, and Rodney Jones and produced by Roberson and Rodney Jones for Art of Artez Productions. “Where You Gonna Go” is ason that explores simple extremes”, says Roberson. “It’s inspired by a question I ask myself to help the sunshine, even when facing storms. The song’s mission is to enhance people’s self-worth and growth,” he adds.

Both Roberson and BJ use a blend of soul, R&B, and gospel. The guitar and drum cadence remind you of a gospel song. This song brings soul and emotion with every note. Roberson is known for driving emotions in his songs with soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

The harmonies and ad libs really add to the song, especilly the “yes suh,” that we may have often heard in church. God is even acknowledged at the beginning of the song before the lyrics come in.

The hook starts off, where you gonna/where you gonna go/where you gonna go/ to get where you going”
The track is about letting love find you sometimes, not necessarily leaving what you love, but moving along with life when you’re supposed to. The song also talks about not living in the past and embracing who you are. Sometimes you gotta go into the unknown to get where you’re going.

Unexpected mountains may come, and other obstacles may come at the same time. Although there may be help on the way, sometimes there are only some issues that you can handle. This song is about the journey of becoming a better you.
At the end of the song, the duo speaks to the church with ad-libs as the song ends.
Being no stranger to driving emotions in the right direction, while blending soulful melodies with heartfelt lyrics that resonate with love, loss, and reflection, Roberson has been called the “co-Captain of the Neo-soul” movement for all of these years.

He’s released seventeen LPs (2001’s The Esoteric Movement to 2022’s Lessons) or through songwriting/production/vocal collaborations with the likes of Jill Scott, Dwele, Musiq Soulchild, Vivian Green, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spinna and others, fine-tuned R&B music ears have come to recognize and make a somewhat spiritual connection with his everyday relatable, multi-influenced vibe which mirrors their own lives and experiences

#HipHopNews: J. Cole’s “New” Dreamville Festival To Continue In North Carolina For The Next Four Years
What was expected to be the final installment of J. Cole’s beloved Dreamville Festival turned out to be a new beginning.
Just days before the two-day event kicked off at Dorothea Dix Park this past weekend, organizers surprised fans by announcing that the annual celebration of music and culture would continue for at least four more years.

The announcement was made during a press conference held Thursday (Apr. 3), catching many off guard after months of anticipation surrounding what had been promoted as the festival’s farewell edition.
“We’re going to be here for years to come,” said Dreamville and Live Nation festival producer Sascha Stone Guttfreund.
“This is a multi-year deal, and we’re so excited to be working with the city of Raleigh together on something new and exciting, and to continue to build on this incredible thing that we’ve done over the years.”

The partnership with the city of Raleigh will keep the festival rooted in Dorothea Dix Park through at least 2029, reinforcing the event’s commitment to the local community and economy.
“We’re going to continue on the same path that’s been successful for us. Our consumers have told us what they like, and we’re going to try to provide that to them for the next four years,” said Raleigh City Manager Marchell Adams-David.

She also emphasized that Dreamville co-founder J. Cole remains closely tied to the event’s future, even if he doesn’t perform each year. “We’re using the Dreamville label to a certain extent,” Adams-David said.
“He will obviously be involved, whether or not he headlines. That’s probably not going to be an occurrence, but he is a local resident. He is totally committed to this community, and he is totally committed to this festival.”
Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad, longtime manager of J. Cole and a key Dreamville executive, echoed the sentiment. “We wanted to keep the feeling of just the community,” he said.

“We call it our family reunion. I think a lot of people from all over the world and from all 50 states come in, and it’s good to be able to do it here in North Carolina.”
This year’s fifth annual festival, held April 5–6, featured headlining performances from J. Cole, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, and Erykah Badu, alongside acts like GloRilla, Tems, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Ludacris.

#BoxOfficeNews: 'A Minecraft Movie' breaks box office records

"A Minecraft Movie" shattered expectations at the box office this weekend, grossing a record-breaking $157 million domestically, according to estimates from Comscore. That represented the biggest three-day opening ever for a movie based on a video game at the domestic box office.
The record was previously held by another Jack Black film: "The Super Mario Bros. Movie," which in 2023 grossed $146 million domestically over three days. "Mario" opened on a Wednesday due to the Easter holiday, so its total gross over the five-day weekend was $204 million. That film went on to gross more than $1.3 billion worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing movie of 2023 after "Barbie."

Starring Black and Jason Momoa, "A Minecraft Movie" brought the best-selling video game of all time to the big screen. But the same way "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" wasn't a hit with critics, "Minecraft" earned mixed reviews, and the audience reception didn't seem to be over the moon, either. Moviegoers surveyed by CinemaScore gave "Minecraft" an average grade of B+. For comparison, "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" received an A grade.

But the box office success still represented another win for the genre of video game adaptations, which in recent years has produced several hits on the big and small screen. Three "Sonic the Hedgehog" films have performed well in theaters since 2020, and in 2023, the game "Five Nights at Freddy's" spawned one of that year's biggest hit horror movies. On the television side, games like "Fallout" and "The Last of Us" have been turned into critically acclaimed shows.

Many more video game adaptations are in the works, some of which could have potential to reach the same heights as "Mario" or "Minecraft." A live-action film based on "The Legend of Zelda" is set for release in 2027, and Margot Robbie is reportedly working on a film based on "The Sims." A sequel to "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" will debut in 2026.
"Minecraft" was also a much-needed win for the box office in general, which has gotten off to a slow start in 2025 with a dearth of blockbusters and several financial disappointments like "Snow White."

#RIP: Jay North, TV's original 'Dennis the Menace,' dies at 73
Jay North, known for defining the image of a postwar American child as a trouble magnet on television's "Dennis the Menace," died Sunday. He was 73.
Laurie Jacobson, a longtime friend and fellow actor on the original television show, announced his death on Facebook, saying North died peacefully at home Sunday morning after a yearslong battle with cancer.
Friend and representative Bonnie Vent confirmed his death in an email. Authorities where North lived in Union County, Florida, including the local medical examiner, did not respond to requests for information Sunday.

North started playing the main character on "Dennis the Menace" at age 6 in 1959. The show's title character, often clad in overalls, clashed with a neighbor and kept his patient parents busy managing fallout from his shenanigans.

Jacobson said North eventually got over Hollywood."As many of his fans know, he had a difficult journey in Hollywood and after," Jacobson said on Facebook. "But he did not let it define his life.
Butch Patrick, who played child werewolf Eddie Munster on the mid-1960s show "The Munsters," said child actors from the era have formed a tight community.

North found happiness in Florida, he said on Facebook. "The business was tough on Jay," Patrick said. "He seemed happy in Florida and I’m glad he’s at peace. I can’t imagine the workload that being Dennis put on him. It definitely wasn’t a good time. I had a great run but lots of others were damaged goods after. R.I.P. my dearest friend. We had a lotta laughs."

North said he felt typecast by "Dennis the Menace," and after it ended its run 1963, he had a hard time finding work in Hollywood.
In a 2017 interview with The Washington Times, he said the lack of acting work inspired him to join the military and then work in the health food industry before he became a corrections officer in Florida.

Some inmates recognized him as TV's menace, he told the newspaper. "Lot of the inmates that I’ve guarded remember the show," he said. "Many of them grew up watching the show. Some the first time out, others in reruns."
Jacobson described North as having a heart "as big as a mountain" and said he "loved his friends deeply."
"He called us frequently and ended every conversation with ‘I love you with all my heart,’” she said on Facebook.

North is survived by his third wife, Cindy, and three stepdaughters.

Cassie Set To Testify Against Diddy Using Real Name In Sex Trafficking Trial

The dominoes continue to fall for Diddy as his sex trafficking trial approaches. The 55-year-old artist’s ex-girlfriend Cassie will testify against him, under her real name, in court come May.
This past Friday (April 4), prosecutors filed a motion stating that “Victim-1” would not testify anonymously in the upcoming trial. People confirmed with sources that “Victim-1” was Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who dated the Bad Boy co-founder from 2007 to 2018; Rolling Stone also previously confirmed this in January. Three other alleged victims will be testifying against Puff, but they are choosing to preserve anonymity. The prosecution requested that they be addressed using pseudonyms during trial.

“This case has already received an exceptional amount of media coverage, which will presumably only increase as trial proceeds,” the prosecution wrote. “Permitting these measures will prevent unnecessary public disclosure of the victims’ identities, and the harassment from the media and others, undue embarrassment, and other adverse consequences that would almost certainly follow if these women were forced to reveal their true names publicly at trial.”

This is a significant revelation as it brings this entire experience full circle for the former couple; Cassie sued Diddy in November 2023 for rape, assault, and trafficking, creating a major uproar in the entertainment space. They quickly settled outside of court, but this opened the floodgates for several other alleged victims to come forward with additional lawsuits. Women claimed the “Last Night” artist took advantage of them when they were teenagers, and he has even had some men accuse him of sexual assault as well.

Things took a dark turn when footage of “Brother Love” assaulting the “Long Way 2 Go” singer in a hotel in 2016 surfaced online. The three-time Grammy winner apologized for his behavior, acknowledging that he was “f**ked up” at the time, but notably did not say his ex-girlfriend’s name in the apology.
Reports came out that the couple was legally restricted from saying each other’s names in public, but the court of public opinion had little grace to offer him regardless. Diddy has been behind bars since September 2024 after being arrested for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and more. The lawsuits continue coming in, and he has had bail denied on multiple occasions.

Chris Brown Warns Fans Against Wearing Red Bandanas During His Tour
Chris Brown doesn’t want Team Breezy to insinuate any gang ties on his watch. Ahead of his multi-city Breezy Bowl Tour with supporting acts Bryson Tiller, Summer Walker and Jhené Aiko, which begins its North American leg in July, the singer warned fans against wearing gang colors during concerts.
“I see a lot of the fans collectively telling team breezy to wear red bandannas to the concert,” he wrote. “I would highly advise yall to NOT do that! 🤣!” the two-time Grammy winner wrote in an Instagram Story over the weekend.

The “11:11” vocalist advised that his loyal following instead wear neutral brown bandanas as to not “run into any problems.” “YALL KNOW IM BRIS BREEZY but WE PROMOTING POSITIVITY ON THIS [TOUR] ! Thank you And I love yall,” the father of three concluded.
While keeping his fans safe with an updated dress code, the Breezy Bowl tour kicks off in Europe beginning on June 8th. After eleven dates overseas, the tour continues in North America, where the first concert will be held in Miami, Florida, on July 30. Breezy Bowl will continue for additional dates before ending on September 20 in Las Vegas. General and VIP tickets are currently on sale.

LeBron James Becomes Barbie's ‘Kenbassador’ With New Doll

This week, it was announced that the NBA icon will be the newest ‘Kenbassador’ with a collector’s edition doll that retails for $75 USD. One day after the doll debuts on Mattel Creations, it will be available on Amazon and other retailers.

While James hasn’t publicly spoken on the doll, celebrities with Barbie versions of themselves include Alicia Keys, Issa Rae, and Naomi Osaka. The James doll also comes during the 45th anniversary of the Black Barbie, which was created by fashion designer Kitty Black Perkins.

“When I walked in the door at Mattel, there was always a talk about doing a Black doll,” Perkins told People last year. “This took on a life of its own, and I think that the right person was listening because the VP of marketing at that time, his name was Steve Nelson, and he came to me and he said, ‘Kitty, what do you think about us actually doing a Black Barbie?' And I told him, 'I think it's absolutely fantastic, and we've been wanting to do that for years.' And he said, 'Well, I think it's about time.’”

Michelle Williams Blasts Passenger For Exposing Bare Feet On Flight
According to reports, the Destiny’s Child singer called out a passenger for exposing their bare feet next to her. Williams posted on Instagram a photo of the foot with the caption that read, “I PROMISE YOU BETTA GETCHO FOOT FROM ME!!!” The caption continued, “Y’all this is happening neowwwwwwww on my flight and I am crying real tears!!! #postanddelete.”
She went on to say that she ended up elbowing the foot and needed to take her coat to the cleaners. Williams explained that she was sitting in the plane’s business class section, which usually has private individual seating.

“For those asking… YES, I am sitting in the first class cabin… a lot of AUDACITY resides in that booking class… OBVIOUSLY!! #seat3F, the f is for feet,” she said. Once the plane landed, she shared that she was happy to be off that flight.

How would you feel if this happened on your flight?

Beyoncé Ranked No. 3 On Billboard’s ‘Top Women Artists Of The 21st Century’ List

On Sunday (Mar.23), Billboard dropped off its “Top Women of The 21st Century” list. Beyoncé, whose iconography proceeds her, landed at No.3 on the list. Slightly ahead of her were two other industry heavyweights: Rihanna (No.2) and Taylor Swift (No.1). Behind her sit, Adele at No.4 and Katy Perry at No.5. Per the outlet, the ranking is based on “weekly performance on the Billboard 200 albums chart and Billboard Hot 100 songs chart from the start of 2000 through the end of 2024.”

“Queen Bey broke out as a soloist in 2002, achieving chart heights with eight #Billboard200 No. 1 and nine #Hot100 No. 1s.,” the outlet wrote in an Instagram post.

Last December, the outlet named her the greatest pop star of the 21st century.

The outlet said the ranking was “based on her full 25 years of influence, evolution, and impact.” From her work with Destiny’s Child to her successful solo career, Beyoncé has more than proven herself. “The reasons why Beyoncé captured the top spot on our list were beyond numerous. Ranging from her 25 years of timeless albums and singles to her incalculable industry impact and influence on other artists, to her peerless raw talents as a singer and performer.’” Billboard said.

“Few artists this period can match her in any of the most critical basic categories of pop stardom. Commercial success, performance abilities, critical acclaim and accolades, industry influence, iconic cultural moments – and absolutely no one can equal her in all of them,” Billboard continued.

Claims Ex-Husband Hasn’t Contacted Her About Job Opportunity
Dawn Robinson, a former member of En Vogue, denies that her ex-husband, Andre “Dre” Allen, has contacted her during her car-life journey.
The homeless R&B singer went public about her current life chapter in March, explaining that she had two previous living arrangements that didn’t fit her needs. Responding to the news via TMZ was Allen, who claimed he had planned to help Robinson with a job opportunity in hospitality. Allen was formerly a R&B group IV Xample member and now works for Hilton Brands. The ex-spouses were married from 2003 to 2010.

However, Robinson said in a new People article that she hadn’t heard from Allen, who had engaged another woman. “I haven't heard from this man. I don't know what he's talking about,” Robinson claimed. The singer also said Allen talks about her publicly “every single time I have anything going on.”

“He has to get his shine on my coattails, and the fans are handling him just fine. I haven't had to say a word to him,” she continued.
Instead, Robinson plans to release a memoir and a documentary about her career and personal life. As for performing, she doesn’t want to return to the stage “right away.” One month after posting her YouTube vlog on homelessness, Robinson told People that car life has been a “very healing time” for her.

Sheryl Lee Ralph Discovers Surprise Family Connection to Samuel L. Jackson

Sheryl Lee Ralph was met with an unexpected addition to her family while discovering her ancestry.
The ‘Abbott Elementary’ star, 68, was a guest on the Tuesday, April 1 episode of the Henry Louis Gates Jr.-hosted “Finding Your Roots.” On the PBS series, celebrities trace their family history and are sometimes surprised by news about who they’re related to. Through Ralph’s DNA testing results, Gates revealed that the actress and distant cousin Samuel L. Jackson, 78, share a “long stretch of DNA on their 16th chromosomes,” meaning they have “a common ancestor somewhere in their family trees,” per People.

In amazement, Ralph flipped a page of the photo album and laughed upon seeing a picture of the “Django Unchained” actor. “Are you kidding me?!” she said. “And I like him so much!”

Ralph shared that she’s “always” felt a connection to Samuel, who reminds her of another family member they have. "[He] reminds me of my brother Timothy ... for whatever reason, I don't know why,” she expressed.
Jackson’s family is growing with other celebrity names, like Janet Jackson, who revealed that through her mother, Katherine Jackson, she’s the cousin of the actor on BBC Radio 2's ‘Breakfast Show’ last year.

Rihanna's most-recent appearances have people wondering if she's Pregnant again
Rihanna was in Paris this weekend. She was there promoting Fenty Beauty at the Sephora on the Champs Elysée and as is always the case when Rihanna is out there marketing, she was accessible and approachable. And speaking Chinese again.

Here’s what happened when RiRi reunited with Marcelo Wang. You’ll recall, he went viral last year when he interviewed her in China for the Fenty launch there. Marcelo was invited by Fenty once again for the Paris event, and this is what happened.

But there’s been another conversation that’s been happening around Rihanna, for weeks if not months: whether or not she’s pregnant again.
Her appearance in Paris continued to fuel the speculation because of her dress and also how she’s posing, and the photos the brand chose to feature.

Amber Ruffin Calls Removal From White House Correspondents' Dinner 'A Good Thing'
It's been a turbulent few weeks for Amber Ruffin. Initially named the host for the upcoming White House Correspondents' Dinner, she was abruptly ditched from the event. This decision by White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) followed her outspoken stance against President Donald Trump.

"I lost the gig because I was out here talking s**t. I think it's a good thing that I lost the gig because I wasn't going to show up there and act all the way out," Ruffin shared on CNN's "Have I Got News for You."
Despite the setback, Ruffin appears to be taking it all in stride. She admitted that the evolving political climate and her own convictions made her position as host untenable. "It's not anyone's fault because when I was hired, we were like, 'Oh, yeah, and we'll give it to everybody.' "

"Then, they started f**king disappearing people to a prison in El Salvador, they rolled back f**king civil rights, so I was like, if I make this equal, then I'm also a piece of s**t. I can't f**king do that."

WHCA president Eugene Daniels stated that the decision to cancel Ruffin was made unanimously by the board to "ensure the focus is not on the politics of division but entirely on awarding our colleagues for their outstanding work."
Reflecting on the controversy, Ruffin has remained vocal about her criticisms. She highlighted the Trump administration's policies on immigration and civil rights as key points of contention.

"I thought when people take away your rights, erase your history and deport your friends, you're supposed to call it out. But I was wrong," she remarked when sitting down Seth Meyers on his late night show.
It's worth noting that tension between the WHCA and the Trump administration is nothing new. During his first presidency, Trump was notably absent from the WHCA dinners.

Earlier this year in February, the Associated Press was banned from the White House for refusing to call the Gulf of Mexico the "Gulf of America." Following this, the administration took full control over the White House press pool, further complicating the WHCA's role.
Scheduled for April 26, the event will proceed without Ruffin but not without lingering questions about the intersection of comedy, free speech, and political accountability.

Halle Berry Grateful That Chris Hemsworth “Stood Up For Her” On Set Of Thriller ‘Crime 101’
Halle Berry has expressed her admiration for her co-star Chris Hemsworth, saying she’ll be “a fan for the rest of her life” after the Australian actor stood up for her on set.
Berry was with Hemsworth at CinemaCon in Las Vegas to promote their new thriller Crime 101, when she spoke to E! News on the red carpet, and spoke elliptically about a moment Hemsworth had proved himself during filming.

“[He’s] a stand-up guy. I won’t go into it now, but he stood up for me in a moment in our movie, and instantly I knew right then I’m gonna follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of his life because he stood up for a woman.

“He didn’t have to do it and he did it.” Hemsworth previously shared that he had felt intimidated to work with Berry, saying: “I’ve admired Halle’s work for many, many years. I was obviously very intimidated to sit opposite her within a scene and try and, you know, not just be in awe of what she was doing.”

Crime 101 sees Hemsworth play a jewel thief with Berry as an insurance broker. Hemsworth stepped into the project after Pedro Pascal was unable to fufil the role due to scheduling conflicts.
Other cast members include Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan and Monica Barbaro. Crime 101 is directed by Bart Layton, and adapted from a novella by Don Winslow. The title is based on “Crime 101” rules – a strict set of guidelines for the perfect heist.

Another Child Dies in Fast-Growing Texas Measles Outbreak

A second child has died from measles in Texas, the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed late Saturday.
The school-aged child, unvaccinated and previously healthy, passed away at University Medical Center Children’s Hospital in Lubbock.

“The child was receiving treatment for complications of measles while hospitalized,” the hospital said. “It is important to note that the child was not vaccinated against measles and had no known underlying health conditions. This unfortunate event underscores the importance of vaccination.”
The outbreak, which began in January, has sickened 481 Texans so far, a 14% increase from the previous week. Six of those cases are infants and toddlers at a Lubbock daycare center, and 56 people have been hospitalized.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns that 1 to 3 out of every 1,000 children infected with measles die, often from pneumonia or neurological complications. The virus can also erase immune memory in a phenomenon known as “immune amnesia.”

Harriet Tubman Removed from National Parks Website and Replaced with “Black/White Cooperation” Theme
A quiet yet significant change to a National Parks Service webpage is drawing attention for what it removed and what replaced it. Harriet Tubman, long celebrated as the most iconic figure associated with the Underground Railroad, was taken off a government site that once honored her leadership and sacrifice.

The original version of the National Parks’ Underground Railroad page prominently featured Tubman’s image and a quote highlighting her role in helping enslaved people escape to freedom. It also included direct references to the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850 and the harsh realities faced by those seeking liberation.

But sometime between January 21 and March 19, 2025, that changed. A comparison using the Wayback Machine shows that Tubman’s presence was erased. Gone were her image and her words. Also missing were mentions of “enslaved people” and the laws that fueled the creation of the Underground Railroad.
In their place, the revised webpage now leads with an image of commemorative stamps featuring various civil rights leaders. The updated text introduces the Underground Railroad not through the lens of slavery or resistance, but instead with phrases like “Black/White Cooperation” and “American ideals of liberty and freedom.”

The changes were first reported by The Washington Post and have since sparked debate over how American history is being presented on official platforms. By shifting the focus away from the brutal history of slavery and the courageous efforts of people like Tubman, critics say the updated page risks whitewashing a pivotal chapter in Black American history.

These edits are an attack from the Trump administration regarding DEI by removing discussions around race, slavery, and civil rights.
As educators, historians, and activists push for more accurate and inclusive storytelling, many are calling for the restoration of Tubman’s rightful place on the National Parks site and in the national conversation.

#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Says Kenya Moore’s Actions That Led to ‘RHOA’ Exit Were ‘Beneath Her’
Cynthia Bailey is feeling both love and disappointment for her longtime friend Kenya Moore.
As The Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers prepare to find out what led to Kenya’s exit from season 16, Cynthia, 58, is shining a light on her reaction to all of the drama.
“I know Kenya. I just held her to a standard that I hold for my friends and I just felt like it was not good for Kenya,” Cynthia exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, April 3. “I just felt like she was bigger. I felt the way she responded was beneath her.”

Based on a preview of the Sunday, April 6, episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, viewers will learn more about the drama surrounding Kenya, 54, and costar Brittany Eady.
In June 2024, Us confirmed Kenya abruptly exited the series due to an alleged explicit photo scandal.  “My heart is full and my conscience is clean,” Kenya shared via Instagram after her exit was confirmed. “So many false claims hiding behind anonymous sources.”

During a separate interview with Us in November 2024, Kenya cryptically shared that “the truth always comes to light, and I’m always right.”
From Cynthia’s perspective, she’s disappointed that the drama took the focus off of an event dedicated to the Kenya Moore Haircare Spa.
“I know how hard she’s been working on that and this is a lifelong dream of hers,” she explained to Us. “It’s just really unfortunate that it was overshadowed by the events that took place.”

Although Cynthia said she has not spoken to Kenya “since everything happened,” the “Humble Brag” podcast host is ready to talk when her friend is ready.
“At the end of the day, I have a real friendship with Kenya, and she knows that when she’s ready to talk, I am here,” Cynthia said. “I will be happy to pick up where we left off.”
As the season continues to play out Sunday nights on Bravo, Cynthia still wishes Kenya could have been part of more events with the cast that includes Porsha Williams, Drew Sidora, Kelli Ferrell, Shamea Morton and Angela Oakley.
“I know that losing Kenya didn’t help us at all,” Cynthia explained. “We were literally the dream team. Bravo spent a lot of time curating their vision for season 16 with exactly the cast that started this whole season 16 journey together, and it’s just really unfortunate that the fans don’t get to see it play out with that official cast that they put together.”

Cynthia is hopeful fans will keep watching as Married to Medicine alum Phaedra Parks joins the cast later on in the season. (Viewers will also be able to watch Cynthia on a new reality show titled Got to Get Out later this month on Hulu.)
“If there’s one word that describes the season, it’s unpredictable because we never thought we would lose Kenya,” Cynthia said. “We never saw Phaedra coming. So at the end of the day, we’re going to get past everything that happened and you guys are in for a treat.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Bravo Sundays at 8 p.m. ET with old episodes streaming on Peacock. Got to Get Out premieres on Hulu Friday, April 11.

#HipHopNews: Young Thug’s Probation Will Not Be Revoked Over X Posts
Young Thug will remain free after a judge declined Atlanta prosecutors’ motion to revoke his probation. In her order, per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker did warn that “it may be prudent for Defendant to exercise restraint regarding certain topics” on social media.

Less than six months after Young Thug walked free from jail in Atlanta, prosecutors want to revoke his probation over two X posts. District Attorney Fani Willis filed a motion on April 2, Fox 5 Atlanta reported, claiming the rapper (born Jeffery Williams) “has engaged in conduct that directly threatens the safety of witnesses and prosecutors, compromises ongoing legal proceedings, and warrants immediate revocation of probation.” Lawyers for Thug already filed a response on April 3 requesting the motion be denied. His lead attorney, Brian Steel, called prosecutors’ claims “baseless” in a statement to Vulture. “While intimidation and threats of violence are never appropriate, Jeffery Williams has done nothing wrong,” Steel said. Thug is currently serving 15 years of probation after pleading guilty to a gang charge and various firearm and drug charges, but no contest to a RICO charge, in the trial against his record label, YSL. The rapper is currently getting ready to perform his first shows since his release this summer. Under the terms of his plea, revoking his probation could trigger a 20-year prison sentence.

The prosecutors’ motion centers on an X post Young Thug made on April 1. The post included a photo of Marissa Viverito, an investigator whom prosecutors had requested not be shown during televised court hearings. Viverito testified during Thug’s RICO trial and was now testifying during a separate gang-related murder hearing. After a blogger posted Viverito’s photo to X, Thug posted the same photo with the caption, “Biggest liar in the DA office.” Thug also reposted fan account @ThuggerDaily with more photos of Viverito and the caption “all my homies hate Viverito.” Young Thug and @ThuggerDaily’s posts have both since been deleted. Prosecutors claim the posts are part of a “calculated campaign” by Thug meant “to undermine the legal process,” blaming his posts for leading to online threats that others made against both Viverito and Willis.

In their response, Thug’s lawyers say the prosecutors’ motion “fails, on its face, to allege any conduct by Mr. Williams that would rise to a violation of the probationary sentence.” They argue Thug did not violate probation because there is no evidence he knew of the order not to show Viverito, and the photo he posted was not of Viverito testifying in court. Further, they claim the threats made by other accounts “cannot be attributed to Mr. Williams.”

Thug also personally responded to the claims in another X post on April 2. “I don’t make [threats] to people I’m a good person, I would never condone anyone threatening anyone or definitely participate in threatening anyone,” he wrote. “I’m all about peace and love.”

March Madness 2025: Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, Sarah Strong lead UConn to 12th title with dominant win over South Carolina

Paige Bueckers is ending her college career on top. Bueckers and UConn cruised to yet another dominant 82-59 win over South Carolina at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, on Sunday afternoon to win the national championship. It marks the program’s 12th title in team history, and the first since 2016. They are now the first Division I team with a dozen championships, all of which have come under head coach Geno Auriemma.

The win capped what has been a truly dominant run for the Huskies throughout the women’s NCAA tournament this spring. While Bueckers has recorded multiple 30-point games, it was Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong who repeatedly showed out to complete a trio that nobody else in the field was able to stop.

They won every single game by double figures and beat three No. 1 seeds — including a 34-point rout over top-seeded UCLA in the Final Four — to win their title. Bueckers, who is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft on April 14, now turns pro with a championship. She had led the Huskies to four Final Four appearances, but they fell to South Carolina in the national championship game in 2022.
South Carolina came out of the gate hot, but completely shut down at the end of the first quarter. After opening the game making five of their first seven shots, the Gamecocks missed seven of their next eight to end the quarter. They didn’t score at all after Joyce Edwards hit a free throw at the 3:59 mark either. That allowed UConn to jump up by five at the first break.

Though UConn entered the locker room with just a single made 3-pointer, which Ashlynn Shade hit right before the buzzer, the Huskies still doubled their lead after the second quarter, holding a 36-26 edge at the break. They held South Carolina to just 12 points in the second quarter and limited them to a single field goal in the final five minutes of the period. Strong nearly had a double-double in the first 20 minutes with eight points and 11 rebounds, too. It was the highest rebounding total in a single half of a national championship game since Tina Charles in 2009.

UConn then took off in the third quarter, thanks in part to an 11-point stretch from Fudd. She hit a huge 3-pointer late in the period, which Sarah Strong followed up quickly with one of her own, to help push them to a 20-point lead after the period, at 62-42. They ended the quarter on a 12-3 run, too, which gave them their largest lead of the game at that point.

The fourth quarter was much of the same. The Huskies cruised to the 23-point win without any issue after opening the last period on an 18-6 run.
Bueckers, Fudd and Strong combined for 65 total points in the win, which marked yet another massive outing for the group. Bueckers finished with 17 points, which moved her past Maya Moore for the third-most career points in the NCAA tournament. Fudd had 24 points, and was named the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player.

Strong finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds. Strong set an NCAA tournament record for points by a freshman in a single tournament, too, and she's the third freshman in history to drop 20 points in both a semifinal and national title game.
Edwards and Tessa Johnson each dropped 10 points off the bench to lead South Carolina in the loss, though they were the only two Gamecocks players to hit double figures. Chloe Kitts finished with nine points and six rebounds, and Sania Feagin finished with eight points. They shot 21-of-61 from the field as a team and just 4-of-16 from behind the arc.

While South Carolina failed to back up last year’s championship, the Gamecocks’ remarkable run is still very much intact. They’ve been to five straight Final Fours, three of the last four national championship games and won two national titles. But, with how Bueckers and the Huskies were playing late in the season, there was simply no stopping them.

What a performance by the UConn Huskies. UConn overwhelmed South Carolina on both sides of the ball on Sunday en route to an 82-59 win in the NCAA championship game.
It was a dominant performance from the opening quarter as UConn took a 19-14 lead. UConn's edge grew each quarter from there as the Huskies cruised to the program's 12th NCAA championship.

UConn sends Paige Bueckers off as a champion for the first time in the final game of her legendary UConn career.
Bueckers finished with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal. And she got an extraordinary performance from her co-stars Azzi Fudd and freshman Sarah Strong.

Fudd finished with 24 points, five rebounds and three steals. Strong was dominant on both sides of the court en route to 24 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals.
The Huskies shot 48.4% from the field and stifled South Carolina on defense, holding the Gamecocks to a 34.4% effort on field goals. It was a fitting and dominant end to Bueckers' sensational NCAA career.

Michael B. Jordan Brings The Black Magic To The ‘Sinners’ NYC Premiere

Michael B. Jordan doubled down on his role of “Smoke” and “Stack” at the NYC premiere of his and Ryan Coogler‘s Sinners film on Thursday night (April 3). Delivering not one but two red carpet looks, the 38-year-old actor pulled off a slick outfit change mid-event at Manhattan’s AMC Lincoln Square, playfully posing twice and even giving a joint interview.

Sinners is a vampire thriller that sees Jordan take on the challenge of playing identical twin brothers, Smoke and Stack. Jordan’s characters attempt to leave behind their troubled past by returning home for a fresh start—only to be met by an even greater evil lurking in the shadows. To distinguish between the twins, Jordan’s first look included a tailored navy blue and black suit with grills on his side teeth. For his second look, he sported a brown leather ensemble with black shades.

Among the red carpet were the film’s stars including writer-director Ryan Coogler as well as Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Li Jun Li, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, Delroy Lindo, and more. Others celebs in attendance included Danielle Brooks, Les Twins, Loren Lott, Millyz, Ludwig Göransson, Benny Boom and others, amongst his supportive mother, brother, and sister Jamila Jordan.
Jordan told The Hollywood Reporter on the carpet that the biggest challenge of playing twins “was the technicality of how we shot both characters.” He added, “I did every scene like four times, fives times, so I think the balance between going back and forth was difficult at times but you find a rhythm and after a while it was second nature. I had a lot of fun.”

The film hits IMAX theaters on April 18.

Lizzo Argues Britney Spears “Is Doing A Janet Jackson Impression” During Pop Diva Debate
Lizzo doubled down on her opinion that Janet Jackson is the Queen of Pop, introducing Britney Spears as proof. Speaking as a guest on the Sibling Rivalry Podcast, the Grammy winner explained why she puts Jackson on top. In the conversation, Lizzo referred to her past statements in 2021, where she made the same declaration, angering Madonna fans, per Billboard.
“I have to really clear up some sh*t up,” Lizzo elaborated. “Because people came for me on the Internet because I said Janet Jackson is the Queen of Pop.”

She continued to detail, “I said Janet Jackson is the Queen of Pop. Here is why I said Janet is the Queen of Pop. Britney Spears is doing a Janet impression, and she said it. Janet is her diva. There were no such things as Pop divas before Janet. Janet was first. She was famous when Madonna was a kid watching her on television.”
“And I’m just putting it out there,” the 36-year-old clarified. “It’s not because someone is better than the other. She was just first. And, she is Janet. She invented this sh*t. Now, Madonna is the Pop icon, and I love Madonna. And we can’t refute her influence and what she’s done for pop music and for all of the divas. She birthed a generation.”

Despite her explanation, the Britney Spears fanbase decided to clap back at Lizzo on social media for her statements.
“Nobody thinks of THE Britney Spears as a Janet Jackson impersonator. She literally crafted her own sound and imagery at 16 and became the blueprint for every new pop girl,” opined one user on X. “Worry about your career lasting one summer and your latest tweet not even crossing 100 likes.”

Another user shared the aforementioned post and added, “Lizzo is soooo lame like ????? wtf girl britney’s music stood the test of time, the kids not gonna remember your sh*t in 20 years.”
Some accounts were on Lizzo’s side of the debate.
“Now you can be a Britney fan and not be a lying a** b**ch,” replied one account to pushback. “Because Britney Spears quite literally took everything she has from Janet Jackson, made it a lil stiffer, and took the soul out of it, added some mayo and Bam . Britney was born. Yall toddlers love to lie.”

Throughout her career, Britney Spears has been vocal about Janet Jackson’s influence on her creatively. Last February, the “Toxic” performer shared a heartwarming post for her “Control” predecessor on social media.
“Thank you to this beautiful lady for keeping my dreams and heart alive,” wrote Spears in a now-deleted post on Instagram, per Marie Claire. “She’s always been the deepest and brightest woman at the same time. She went through so much but I feel she is someone I will look up to for the rest of my life. Thank you for your music and your divine way of untangling intelligence to a far more clear view than anyone could ever imagine.”

Terrence Howard alleges disturbing encounter with Diddy

In a shocking revelation, Terrence Howard has come forward with allegations against music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, claiming that Diddy attempted to seduce him under the guise of seeking acting lessons. This unexpected disclosure was made during an appearance on the popular “PBD Podcast,” where Howard recounted the unsettling experience.

According to Howard, Diddy had persistently invited him to teach him acting, expressing a desire to learn from the acclaimed actor. “Puffy invited me for weeks asking me to come teach him, wanted me to be his acting coach for a while. I go there and he’s sitting around just looking,” Howard explained. This initial invitation, however, took a strange turn once Howard arrived for what he believed would be a professional engagement.

During the meeting, Howard found himself perplexed by Diddy’s behavior. When he sought direction on how to proceed with the acting lessons, Diddy reportedly remained silent. Instead of engaging in acting exercises, Diddy allegedly requested Howard to play music while continuing to stare at him, which raised significant red flags for the actor.
It was only after a conversation with his assistant that Howard began to understand the true nature of Diddy’s intentions. His assistant bluntly stated, “I think he’s trying to f–k you,” which prompted Howard to reassess the situation. This revelation led him to cut off all communication with Diddy, stating, “So now no more communication.”

As of now, representatives for Diddy have not responded to Howard’s allegations. The lack of a statement from Diddy’s camp leaves many questions unanswered and adds to the intrigue surrounding this incident. Howard’s claims have sparked discussions about the dynamics of power and consent in the entertainment industry, particularly regarding the interactions between established figures and those seeking mentorship.

This incident is not isolated; it reflects broader issues within Hollywood and the music industry, where power dynamics often complicate professional relationships. Allegations of sexual misconduct have been prevalent in recent years, leading to a cultural reckoning that challenges the status quo and demands accountability from influential figures.
Howard’s experience serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining professional boundaries and the need for open discussions about consent and respect in all industries. As more individuals come forward with their stories, it becomes increasingly vital to listen and support those who bravely share their experiences.

Chaka Khan drops unreleased Prince tracks on new album
Chaka Khan is releasing an album of songs that she recorded with Prince. This release comes years after Prince’s passing, making it a highly anticipated project for fans of both legendary artists.
The 72-year-old singer famously had a hit single with her cover of the late music icon’s hit “I Feel For You” back in 1984 and, in 1998, the pair worked together on a full album called Come 2 My House. The original “I Feel For You” single became one of her signature songs throughout her career.

Now, the “Ain’t Nobody” hitmaker is releasing an album of unheard songs that she and Prince recorded together with bassist Larry Graham. Graham, founder of Sly and the Family Stone and Graham Central Station, has been a major influence on Prince’s bass-driven sound.
“We worked on a lot of songs, and they’re all going to be on a CD I’m soon to release — there’s a lot of red tape that’s been in the way, but we’ve cleared it. It’s him and me and Larry Graham, together,” said Khan, who was a frequent collaborator with the “Purple Rain” singer. She told The Guardian newspaper that the legal hurdles likely involved negotiations with Prince’s estate, which has carefully managed his extensive vault of unreleased material.

When asked what it was like to work with Prince, she added: “It was like working with myself, more than anyone else I’ve worked with. Sia’s bringing up a close third, behind Prince and Miles Davis. Quincy Jones, too: he oozed inspiration and shared it. Prince just grabbed ideas out of the air and left you wondering: ‘Where did you get that?’ He was a really deep and beautiful thinker.” Prince was known for his prolific creativity, with many songs that remain unreleased in his legendary vault.

During her career, Khan has also worked with music icons such as Whitney Houston, Joni Mitchell, Sia, Stevie Wonder and jazz trumpeter Miles Davis. Her collaborations span multiple decades and genres, cementing her status as one of music’s most versatile vocalists.
“He and Prince were very similar – big thinkers. Miles was always looking to grow. Prince was, too. The three of us collaborated on “Sticky Wicked,” on my CK album in 1988, and it was a beautiful combination,” Khan said when speaking about working with Miles. “Sticky Wicked” featured Prince on guitar and Davis on trumpet, creating a rare moment where two musical geniuses from different genres collaborated on the same track.

Back in 1995, Khan performed with Prince at his Wembley Arena after show party in London at 4 in the morning along with jazz guitarist George Benson. These legendary after-hours jam sessions became part of Prince folklore, often lasting until dawn with various guest musicians.

Khan went on to share that her memory of the night is not too good but she very much focuses on “what’s happening now.” Her candid approach to her past reflects her forward-thinking attitude that has kept her music relevant across multiple decades.
“My memory is at least as hazy as yours, I bet – probably more. Four o’clock in the morning? No one’s doing anything but craziness at four in the morning! So I’m sure it was like a wild, wonderful night. And don’t look for the little details; just remember the big feeling you had,” she recalled. Prince’s after-shows were known for their spontaneity and often featured unexpected collaborations and extended improvisational jams.

“That’s how I handle my memories. I don’t remember a lot of what I did. And thank God! I’m a ‘next!’ person. Life is about what’s happening now, what’s coming next. I’ve done a lot in my life, and over half of it I don’t remember. Did I ever keep a diary? Oh, hell no. That takes a special kind of patience.” This philosophy has helped Khan remain relevant through changing musical landscapes since her debut with the band Rufus in the early 1970s.
The upcoming album represents a significant addition to both artists’ discographies and joins other posthumous Prince releases that have emerged since his passing. Music historians consider collaborations between artists of this caliber to be important cultural documents that provide insight into their creative processes and musical legacies.

This collaboration between Khan and Prince highlights the deep musical connection they shared over decades of friendship and artistic partnership. Fans of both artists will get a rare glimpse into their creative chemistry in this upcoming release.

Damon Wayans opens up on ‘Club Shay Shay’

In a recent episode of Club Shay Shay, hosted by Shannon Sharpe, comedic legend Damon Wayans spilled some serious tea that has fans buzzing. The interview, which aired on April 3, 2025, covered a range of topics, from Wayans’ family dynamics to his thoughts on marriage. However, the most jaw-dropping revelation was his admission that he once dated the same woman as his nephew.

During the candid conversation, Wayans recounted a time when he and his nephew were romantically linked to the same woman. While he didn’t disclose which nephew it was, he did share that he fell in love with her after his divorce, stating, “I got divorced and I was by myself for two years. And then I saw her, and I was like, ‘I’m in love.’” This revelation certainly raised eyebrows, especially when he described the situation as not being that serious since his nephew and the woman were not in love.

Wayans explained that the dating pool in California is quite small, which made it easier for him to justify his actions. He humorously noted that family gatherings became a bit awkward after the relationship blossomed, with relatives teasing them about the situation. When Sharpe expressed disbelief at the idea of dating a family member’s ex, Wayans quipped, “Nah, if you’ve seen her, you would understand.”

In addition to discussing his dating life, Wayans opened up about his marriage to Lisa Thorner. The couple was together for 19 years before their divorce, but Wayans emphasized that they remain on good terms. He mentioned that Thorner still attends family gatherings, showcasing a level of maturity and respect post-divorce.

“I think marriage is a beautiful arrangement. I was just too young and dumb to know that back then,”
Wayans’ reflections on marriage resonate with many, particularly those who have experienced the complexities of relationships. His candidness about his past mistakes serves as a reminder that growth often comes from learning through life’s challenges.

As expected, social media lit up following the release of the interview clip. Fans had mixed reactions to Wayans’ revelation about dating his nephew’s ex. Some users expressed shock, while others found humor in the situation.

Gayle King Quotes Gay Slur During Interview: “What In the F****try Is Going On?”

Gayle King has sparked controversy after quoting comedian Matteo Lane during a live TV interview on CBS Mornings, where she repeated an uncensored gay slur.
The stand-up comedian was on the show Thursday to promote his book Your Pasta Sucks, which, according to Lane, highlights his humor both in the kitchen and on stage — a topic King was eager to discuss.
“Can we talk about the stand-up? Can I just say one joke? I hope I don’t get in trouble,” King asked before quoting Lane. “You do a riff about white women who approached you, and they said something about cooking, and you said, ‘What in the f****try are you talking about?'”

The show aired the uncensored version of the word during the live broadcast and kept it intact when uploading the clip to YouTube.
However, CBS has removed the video from their website. The footage, still available on user-uploaded recordings on X, shows Lane laughing with his hand over his mouth while King reacted with amusement, asking, “I thought that was hilarious. What does that mean?”

Lane replied, “I love you, Gayle King. It means exactly what you think it means. White women, they’re fine during the day, but they have one sip of rosé and they’re like, ‘Tonight’s about me!’ They won’t stop, I’m telling you. Horrible.”
While Lane has not publicly addressed the incident, he did post a censored version of the clip on his Instagram. According to Entertainment Weekly, the slur was omitted from later broadcasts and social media reposts. The clip was also removed from YouTube and CBS News‘ website.

The moment sparked a range of reactions online. Bob the Drag Queen, Lane’s friend and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 8, shared the clip on social media, calling King’s remark “honestly iconic.”
However, others on X expressed disbelief, with one user writing, “Did Gayle King just say that out loud on National TV!!!!!! I’m GAGGED! Literally jaw dropped!”

Former ‘Making the Band’ Star Dylan Dilinjah Arrested For Misdemeanor Assault

Get this, authorities in Wake County took Dilinjah—whose legal name is Dylan John—into custody on Thursday (April 3) after an incident involving another man, Paul Joseph Galullo. TMZ Hip Hop obtained the arrest warrant, which states that Dilinjah allegedly struck Galullo in the face at least twice with an open hand.

Story time … Dilinjah gained recognition as a reggae and dancehall artist during his time on Making the Band, where his clashes with Diddy and Wyclef Jean became memorable moments on the show. His persona later became the subject of a popular Chappelle’s Show sketch, which he claims negatively impacted his career.

What’s more, in a previous interview, Dilinjah reflected on the challenges he faced following the parody. “Any time I send my music to DJs, they say, ‘Oh, that’s the na that Dave Chappelle made fun of. Nah, I’m good on that,'” he said. “Not only that, but now, every promoter says, ‘Nah, we’re not booking him.’ So now I have a newborn, and the fridge is empty in 2005, and no one is calling me. Everyone is laughing. I’m legend now! But [back then] I’m fed up for what you just did. And you’re not answering the phone. At that time, no one picking up they phone. Not one label. And at that time, you had to sign to a record label, and I called all of them direct. And they said, ‘I can’t help you.’ That joke gone, boy, that joke took over. That joke burned [my career].”

'The Flintstones', 'Looney Tunes', And 'Tom And Jerry' Movies Officially In The Works

Warner Bros. Animation is taking a bold step forward by reintroducing some of its most beloved franchises to the big screen. Fans of "The Flintstones", "Looney Tunes", and "Tom & Jerry" have a lot to look forward to, as new animated movies for these iconic series are currently in the works.

The studio made this exciting announcement during their presentation at CinemaCon 2025, laying out plans that reflect a reinvigorated commitment to their animation roots.
2025 has been a turbulent year for Warner Bros. Animation, with some of their biggest projects facing significant hurdles. "Looney Tunes" spin-off "Coyote vs. Acme", which was on the brink of being shelved, is expected to hit theaters soon after being sold to Ketchup Entertainment.

This purchase sparked rumors that Warner Bros. was looking to get rid of the "Looney Tunes" brand entirely. However, the announcement at CinemaCon quelled such fears, reaffirming the studio's dedication to its classic properties.
While details about the upcoming "Looney Tunes" and "Tom & Jerry" films remain scarce, there's a bit more information available regarding "The Flintstones" project.

Warner Bros. Animation has been attempting to revive "The Flintstones" for years, with one notable but ultimately shelved effort being an adult-oriented television series spearheaded by Seth MacFarlane, the creator of "Family Guy".

Despite this setback, the newest "Flintstones" project appears to have better prospects. Titled "Meet the Flintstones", the film is being developed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, directors of "The Super Mario Bros. Movie", and has been in the works since at least 2023. This film is pitched as an origin story for the timeless Stone Age family we've all come to love.
As we await more details about these exciting projects, one thing is clear: Warner Bros. Animation is embracing its rich heritage while looking ahead to a bright and animated future. Fans of all ages can anticipate a trip down memory lane, with a modern twist that ensures these timeless characters remain as beloved as ever.

Russell Brand Officially Charged With Sexual Assault After Two Years Of Investigation
Russell Brand has been formally slapped with multiple charges, including rape, indecent assault, oral rape, and two counts of sexual assault, since allegations against him surfaced in 2023.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed these charges on Friday, April 4 and announced that Brand's first court appearance was set on May 2.
The accusations stem from incidents alleged to have occurred in the late 1990s and early 2000s, as detailed in a release by the authorities. Detectives in the United Kingdom initiated their investigation into Brand in September 2023 after receiving numerous allegations.

These tips came on the heels of extensive reporting by the British press highlighting Brand's alleged inappropriate sexual behavior. Brand has consistently denied any wrongdoing, a stance he reiterated during an interview with Tucker Carlson, calling the accusations "very hurtful."

Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy confirmed that "the women who have made reports continue to receive support from specially trained officers," and encouraged anyone affected by this case to come forward and speak with the police.

This legal trouble for Brand follows a formal apology by the BBC to its employees in January over its mishandling of harassment complaints during Brand's tenure at the network.
A review by the British news organization found that power dynamics had enabled Brand's "unacceptable" behavior. Brand reportedly exposed himself to a woman in a bathroom shortly before recording a segment for his radio show, where he later joked about the encounter.

Another troubling claim came from a woman who had a three-month relationship with Brand while he was a presenter for Radio 6. She alleged that Brand, then in his 30s, would have a car pick her up from school or her grandmother's house and bring her to his home when she was just 16 years old.

Since the series of accusations and mounting evidence against him, Brand has taken a religious turn, announcing plans to be baptized and frequently using his social media platforms to disseminate various conspiracy theories, ranging from 9/11 to the COVID-19 vaccine.
