#RHOA: Brit Eady Reveals Why She and Husband Michael Cunningham Didn’t Have a Wedding Reception When They Married
Brit Eady is revealing why she and her husband Michael Cunningham didn't have a wedding reception.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and Cunningham were among the countless couples who opted for low-key nuptials amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she shared during the Bravo reality series' latest episode, which aired on Sunday, March 16.

"Because it was during the pandemic, we went to the courthouse, filed our paperwork, and we just did a zoom saying our vows," she said, adding, "I was a little sad about that, but being a wife was way more important."
Nearly five years later, the couple plans to make up for the missed moment by having a second wedding ceremony,
"Because I don’t want a huge wedding," she explained. "I want something that’s sexy and glamorous but intimate."

While she didn't celebrate with a big wedding back in 2020, Eady revealed in the season 16 premiere episode of RHOA that Cunningham got her not one, but two rings. "My husband is all about making sure I’m that girl. I went from 7-and-a-half carats and now I have a 10-carat solitary," she said.

During Sunday's episode, Eady also opened up about how she and Cunningham first connected.
"I met Mike when I launched my insurance agency. And Mike was my client so I didn’t want to date my client so we became friends. And probably about two or three months of him FaceTiming all the time, I was like, ‘Wait a minute, I’m going to watch out for you,' " she recalled.
Eady continued: "We dated and we went on our first trip to Vegas and I said, ‘Mike, I’ll come to Vegas with you but you not getting none.’ When I tell you we had the best time. I was like, ‘Okay, he might be the one.’ "
She also shared that she and Cunningham are talking about having a baby together this year. "Mike has a son, he’s 15. And Mike wants to really experience being a girl dad, so we want to do IVF because we want to choose the sex," the reality star noted.

Last year, Eady shared a sweet tribute to her husband in honor of his birthday. In a January 2024 Instagram post, featuring a series of cozy photos of the pair, she wrote: "Happy birthday to my husband😍🎈. It has been the best ride of my life. Celebrating you is everyday… You are my world, my best friend, and my biggest headache. I would do it all over again."
"The way you love me, I pray everyone gets to experience this type of unconditional love. ❤️🔐 😍🤪," she added.

#HipHopNews: Lil Wayne and Hot Boys to headline 2025 Dreamville Fest with J. Cole
Dreamville Festival, one of the most beloved Hip Hop-led music festivals in the country, officially unveiled its lineup for its fifth and final year in Raleigh, North Carolina. The highly anticipated event, founded by J. Cole and his Dreamville team, will take place April 5 and 6, bringing together a star-studded roster of artists for its farewell edition.

The 2025 Dreamville Fest lineup includes a Cash Money reunion, GloRilla, J. Cole and more
The lineup was revealed around noon on Monday (March 17) via the festival’s official website, confirming an exciting mix of performers. Fans can look forward to sets from 21 Savage, GloRilla, Ludacris, Ari Lennox, Ab-Soul, Keyshia Cole, Wale and many more. Rap legend Lil Wayne is set to headline on Saturday, accompanied by iconic performances from the Hot Boys and Big Tymers. On Sunday, the festival will culminate with a headlining performance from J. Cole himself, following appearances by the legendary Grammy Award-winning artist Erykah Badu and internationally acclaimed singer Tems.

It was back in December 2024 when event organizers confirmed that this year’s edition would be its last. “What a ride it’s been… We can’t thank y’all enough for all the memories we’ve shared,” the statement on social media read. “From the very beginning, the idea behind the fest was creating a place where our fans, the Dreamville community, could spend time together, a place where they could see themselves reflected [and] a place to share in experiences.”

Dreamville Festival first launched in 2018, but its inaugural event was postponed to the following year due to Hurricane Florence, which caused severe flooding across North Carolina. Since then, it grew into a premiere music festival that featured a mix of Dreamville’s own roster – Bas, Cozz, Omen, JID, EARTHGANG, Ari Lennox and Cole himself – alongside some of the biggest names in music. Over the years, artists like Usher, Drake, Big Sean, SZA and Nicki Minaj graced the stage, solidifying its reputation as a must-attend experience for fans.

#OMG: Tracy Morgan Taken Out of Knicks Game in a Wheelchair After Courtside Medical Incident Delays Play

Tracy Morgan had a medical incident during the New York Knicks' game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden on Monday, March 17.
Morgan, 56, became ill during the game, as attendees shared photos and video of Morgan vomiting onto the floor of the court.
Another social media video showed the 30 Rock star being taken away in a wheelchair as he held a towel over his face.

The Knicks-Heat game, which ended with a 116-95 Knicks victory, was delayed in the third quarter for roughly 10 minutes due to Morgan's medical incident.
"We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside," a Madison Square Garden representative told PEOPLE.

Tracy Morgan attends the game between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks during Round 2 Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Playoffs on May 6, 2024 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
Morgan has diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. Four years later, he survived a deadly auto accident. In June 2014, a Walmart truck hit Morgan’s limo from behind while speeding on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Morgan broke his leg and was in a coma for two weeks after the accident, which killed his collaborator and mentor James McNair and left others injured. The comedian was in a wheelchair for five months and later, had to relearn how to speak and walk.
“I want to say to everyone who was in the van with me that night I love you, and we miss you, Uncle Jimmy Mac and God bless your family," Morgan told PEOPLE on the 10th anniversary of his accident. "And to the driver that night and his family, me and my comrades forgive you."

Following his time in rehab, he shared his journey over the years, and in 2017, he told PEOPLE that the crash ultimately left him motivated and with a “story to tell.”
“When anything ever bad happened to me I made it funny and I turned it good,” he said at the time, promoting the Netflix special Staying Alive.
Last month, Morgan attended SNL50, a celebration of Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary, even appearing in sketches during the show.
“This is incredible,” Morgan, 56, told actor and comedian Matt Rogers during the SNL50: The Red Carpet special on Sunday, Feb. 16. “Just thank the Lord that I’m a part of this, that I survived the accident and I’m alive to be here for this.”

Boeing Starliner astronauts who were supposed to be in space for nine days are finally on their way Home!
The two U.S. astronauts who had been at the International Space Station for nine months after their faulty Boeing
Starliner capsule returned without them are finally heading home.
NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams — as well as fellow NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov — are set to splash down on Earth at about 5:57 p.m. ET, roughly 19 hours after closing the hatch on the SpaceX capsule that’s carrying them, according to NASA’s estimated schedule.

Wilmore and Williams left Earth in June on a test flight that was originally intended to last about nine days.
But their stay was extended after thrusters on Boeing’s Starliner capsule “Calypso” failed during docking, raising concerns about the ship’s ability to carry them home. NASA ultimately sent the capsule back empty after it was docked for about three months at the space station, saying it wanted to “further understand the root causes” of the spacecraft’s issues.

NASA also announced that Wilmore and Williams, who are both veteran astronauts and retired Navy test pilots, would return on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft instead. The agency adjusted its rotation of astronauts as a result, removing two people from SpaceX’s Crew-9 mission — which is returning to Earth this week — to make room for Wilmore and Williams.

That capsule carrying the two people on Crew-9 arrived at the ISS back in September. Crews rotate on the ISS, which means that each group of astronauts works until the next arrives at the space station, when a ceremonial “handover” occurs.
NASA had originally planned for SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission — which needed to arrive before the Crew-9 members could come back down — to launch in February, but it was delayed by about a month.

The rocket carrying the four new crew members launched on Friday evening, and its capsule docked at the space station about 29 hours later.
The Starliner crew flight test was supposed to check a final box for Boeing and deliver a key asset for NASA. The agency was hoping to fulfill its dream of having two competing companies — Boeing and Elon Musk’s SpaceX — flying alternating missions to the ISS.

Instead, it’s unclear what Boeing’s future crewed space plans are. The company has lost more than $2 billion on its Starliner spacecraft.
Wilmore and Williams’ journey became entangled in politics once President Donald Trump took office. Trump and Musk, who has become a close advisor to the president, urged a quicker Crew-10 launch and said without evidence that the two astronauts were “stranded” on the space station and that the Biden administration had kept them up there for political reasons. NASA had delayed the Crew-10 launch in December to allow more time to process a new Dragon capsule, but decided to use a reusable capsule to cut down on wait time.

NASA’s plans for returning the two astronauts have remained consistent since the agency announced them in August.
During their extended stay, Wilmore and Williams became part of a normal rotation, conducting scientific experiments and routine maintenance as any other astronaut on rotation at the ISS would. Williams also conducted a spacewalk.
Williams has said repeatedly that the pair doesn’t feel “abandoned” at the ISS, but that she was looking forward to returning home to see her family and her two dogs.

“It’s been a roller coaster for them, probably a little bit more so than for us,” she told reporters earlier this month.

Lil Nas X talks feeling disconnected from Atlanta’s Hip Hop scene, his “HOTBOX” era and finding validation in new interview

Lil Nas X has lived several lives since he took us down the “Old Town Road” in 2018. Now 25 years old, the artist who hails from Atlanta’s Bankhead neighborhood is taking fans on another journey, only this time he is equipped to be a more authentic version of himself.
He dropped off his newest single “HOTBOX” on Friday (March 14) following a week of releases that included the songs “DREAMBOY,” “BIG DUMMY!” “SWISH” and “Right There,” all of which are drumming up excitement for the forthcoming album DREAMBOY due out sometime in the future. In a new interview with Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9, the genre-defying creative spoke about carving out a lane of his own.

Lil Nas X has always been an out-of-the-box type of artist
For starters, Lil Nas X got real about feeling out of place compared to his contemporaries who found success with trap music. “I felt disconnected from it all … It’s Thug, it’s like Future … I just felt like, d**n … I can’t see myself belonging here,” so he branched out. “When I broke out, the song [‘Old Town Road’ was] completely, like, different. It’s no Atlanta-type s**t at all,” he said of the viral hit that garnered him a co-sign from country music icon Billy Ray Cyrus. The Columbia Records signee continued, “Once I like spent some time away from the industry a little bit, kinda to myself, I kinda came back to my roots. I’m an Atlanta n**ga, what am I doing? I can do this. I can, like, hop in my ATL bag.”

Learning to quiet the noise of everyone’s expectations has been integral to Nas X’s artistic evolution
“I feel like at the top of 2024 ... I feel like I was very lost and trying to cater to everybody except myself … and I mean, like, fans, family, everybody,” he confessed. “I had to really come back to myself ‘cause I was tryna be like ‘Captain Save a H**’ for the world, you know what I mean? And I can’t do that all the time. I gotta make sure I’m good,” he said of the lesson that many artists have had to learn.

The sometimes controversial rapper-songwriter confessed that he was responsible for some of the pressure he felt to meet the public’s expectations. “I made up in my mind about what the world wanted from me,” he said. For him, that meant he needed “to be outrageous all the time … I gotta jump all the way out there all the time, but it’s like, no, sometimes I can just be on my chill sh**.”

Lil Nas X doesn’t need to spark shock and outrage to deliver attention-worthy songs and visuals
Now in his “HOTBOX” era, Lil Nas X has returned to having fun without the drama of past chapters like 2021’s Montero, which saw him as a fallen angel who became entangled with Satan. “I ain’t tryna step on no toes, nothin’. I wanna do me, and I wanna be me fully,” he said. A look at the creative direction for this era is proof that a simpler approach to visuals is allowing his melodic and provocative lyrics to rightfully stand on their own.

Moreover, “This is what I wanna do right now,” he added. “This is where I’m at right now in my life. This is what y’all gon’ get from me. … People gon’ say s**t about me regardless. Let me just do my thing,” he declared. “My biggest accomplishment is basically what we’ve just been talking about, like learning to find that internal validation and not go outside in this world seeking it,” and that is a feat that many aspire to reach.

Shyne concedes defeat in Belize election with grace: “The people have spoken”
Shyne’s political career hit a major roadblock. The rapper-turned-politician conceded defeat late Wednesday (March 12) after losing his bid for re-election to the Belize House of Representatives. As revealed by Channel 5 Belize on Thursday (March 13), his opponent, businessman and fellow United Democratic Party (UDP) member Lee Mark Chang, won the Mesopotamia constituency.
“The people have spoken. Congratulations to Lee Mark Chang. He’s now the new area representative of Mesopotamia, and I wish him well,” Shyne stated in a press conference following the results. “I was confident. That was the interaction I was having with the people, but they made a decision to go in another direction, and I respect that.”

Shyne entered Belizean politics in 2020 after winning the Mesopotamia seat, later rising to become the Leader of the Opposition and head of the UDP. His tenure was polarizing, and Chang did not hold back in his criticism of Shyne in the lead-up to the election.

With his defeat, Shyne also plans to step down as leader of the UDP once a new official is elected. “I certainly will resign, effective once we have a national convention to elect a new leader,” he confirmed. “Obviously, you can’t be a leader of the United Democratic Party once you’re not a member of the House, and I would not want to be appointed as a senator or anything to hold on to the leadership.”

The loss marks an uncertain chapter in Shyne’s political ambitions. While it remains to be seen whether he will continue to pursue a future in government, his journey has been anything but conventional. A once-promising rap star under Bad Boy Records, Shyne’s career was derailed by a 1999 nightclub shooting in New York City that led to his conviction on assault, gun possession and reckless endangerment charges. He served roughly a decade behind bars before being deported to Belize upon his release.

Despite his legal troubles, Shyne managed to reinvent himself on the global stage. His political rise in his home country was accompanied by a renewed diplomatic presence, all of which culminated in his return to the United States in 2021 after years of being barred from entry. “It feels great to be in America representing Belize,” he stated at the time. The question now is whether this election loss signals the end of Shyne’s aspirations in politics or simply another reinvention.

Family disputes authorities on deaths of twin brothers found on Bell Mountain

Authorities say they’re closer to determining an official cause of death for two twin brothers who were found dead on Bell Mountain in Towns County earlier this month, but the family has rejected their findings so far.
According to the GBI, a medical examiner has completed the autopsies, though an official ruling and results are “pending additional forensic tests.”

But now, family members of the brothers are disputing the preliminary determinations made by authorities, stating the factors just don’t add up.
The bodies of 19-year-old twins Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis, both of Lawrenceville, were discovered by hikers on the morning of Saturday, March 8 at the top of the mountain, according to GBI.

Both men were found with gunshot wounds, the GBI said, and while autopsies are still pending, investigators said the preliminary investigation suggests the deaths were a murder-suicide.
“It is very odd to us,” Rahim Brawner, an uncle to the brothers, told Now Habersham. “We absolutely do not believe what they’re saying – that it was a murder-suicide with two twin brothers who are always together. It’s just unbelievable. That’s just something they would not do. (Authorities) were so quick to say it was a murder-suicide – the same day it happened – without a thorough investigation or anything like that. This needs to be investigated thoroughly.”

The brothers were scheduled to fly out to Boston to see family on Friday, March 7, though they were found dead at the top of Bell Mountain on Saturday, March 8, according to GBI.

Brawner went on to say the brothers, both of whom attended technical school at two Gwinnett colleges, have never been to North Georgia – making Bell Mountain an unusual place for them to be found. Bell Mountain is nearly 90 miles away from Lawrenceville.
Brawner also said he has questions of whether there were surveillance cameras in the area of Bell Mountain to capture footage of the brothers, or if areas of the mountain were enclosed at the time the brothers were supposedly making their way up there.
“They never mentioned anything about going to North Georgia,” Brawner said. “I couldn’t even imagine why they’d even be up there…they were supposed to fly out to Boston Friday morning, so a lot of this stuff doesn’t make sense.

According to Brawner, the last person to see the brothers together was their step-mother, who he said is just as distraught as the rest of the family. Now, Brawner and other family members are demanding answers.
“They’re actually more protective of each other,” Brawner said. “They’ve always been protective of each other, so this is highly unlikely.”
The Towns County 911 Center received the call about the brothers around 11:05 a.m. on March 8. Soon after, the GBI was called in to assist the Towns County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.

Bell Mountain, a popular tourist site near the Georgia-North Carolina border, overlooks the town of Hiawassee and Lake Chatuge.

Forever 21 expected to close all U.S. stores, blames Shein and Temu for demise
Forever 21 filed for bankruptcy protection for the second time in six years on Sunday and blamed fast-fashion e-tailers Shein and Temu for its demise.
The retailer’s operating company is expected to cease all operations in the U.S. and has already begun liquidation sales at its more than 350 locations, but it’s still open for bids if a buyer is willing to take on its inventory and keep running its stores, court filings show.

Forever 21 has been seeking a buyer for several months and made contact with more than 200 potential bidders, 30 of which signed confidentiality agreements, but no viable deal has come together, court papers say. CNBC previously reported the operating company was in talks with liquidators and would have a hard time finding a buyer for its business.
The company’s bankruptcy comes six years after it emerged from its first filing only to face the Covid-19 pandemic, the highest inflation in decades, and new competition from Chinese-founded upstarts like Shein and Temu.

In a court filing, Stephen Coulombe, the operating company’s co-chief restructuring officer, said Forever 21 was “materially and negatively impacted” by Shein and Temu’s use of the de minimis exemption, which “undercut” its business. The exemption is a trade law loophole that has historically allowed goods valued under $800 to be shipped into the U.S. without import duties. President Donald Trump is trying to end it.
“Certain non-U.S. online retailers that compete with the Debtors, such as Temu and Shein, have taken advantage of this exemption and, therefore, have been able to pass significant savings onto consumers,” Coulombe wrote. “Consequently, retailers that must pay duties and tariffs to purchase product for their stores and warehouses in the United States, such as the Company, have been undercut.”

“Despite wide-spread calls from U.S. companies and industry groups for the U.S. government to create a level playing field for U.S. retailers by closing the exemption, U.S. laws and policies have not solved the problem,” he added.
The owner of Forever 21′s operating company, Sparc Group, which recently reorganized to form a new company dubbed Catalyst Brands, tried to counteract Shein’s competitive threat in 2023 by partnering with the upstart. But the deal didn’t do enough to stem the company’s losses or lead to any changes in de minimis rules, said Coulombe.

“The ability for non-U.S. retailers to sell their products at drastically lower prices to U.S. consumers has significantly impacted the Company’s ability to retain its traditional core customer base,” wrote Coulombe.

While Forever 21′s operating company is headed toward outright liquidation in the U.S., it doesn’t mean that the brand will cease to exist. Its international stores and website are expected to keep operating, and its brand name and other intellectual property owned by brand management firm Authentic Brands Group are not up for sale, CNBC previously reported.

The firm could still find new operators that are willing to run the business in the U.S., either now or in the future.
“We are receiving lots of interest from strong brand operators and digital experts who share our vision and are ready to take the brand to the next level,” Jarrod Weber, global president of lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, said in a statement. “Our U.S. licensee’s decision to restructure its operations does not impact Forever 21′s intellectual property or its international business. It presents an opportunity to accelerate the modernization of the brand’s distribution model, setting it up to compete and lead in fast fashion for decades to come.”

After its first bankruptcy filing, Forever 21 enjoyed a period of respite where the business performed well. It had been bought by a consortium including Authentic Brands Group and landlords Simon Property Group and Brookfield Property Partners and had new capital and a trimmed down store fleet.
In fiscal 2021, it generated $2 billion in revenue and $165 million in EBITDA. But as competition and inflation increased, compounded by supply chain challenges and shifting consumer preferences, Forever 21′s performance began to sputter. In the last three fiscal years, the company lost more than $400 million, including $150 million in fiscal 2024 alone. The company projects it will lose $180 million in EBITDA through 2025.

Last year, Authentic Brands Group CEO Jamie Salter said at a conference that buying the business was “probably the biggest mistake I’ve made.” A few months later, CNBC reported that the company was asking landlords to cut its rent by as much as 50% as it looked to reduce costs and stave off a second bankruptcy filing. While those efforts generated $50 million in savings, it wasn’t enough to counteract the company’s losses.

The operating company currently owes $1.58 billion in various loans, and more than $100 million to dozens of clothing manufacturers, primarily located in China and Korea.
Founded in 1984, Forever 21 has long been credited as a leader in the fast-fashion movement. At its peak, the company employed 43,000 people and generated more than $4 billion in annual sales.

Ma$e explains why he wants to visit Diddy in jail

Diddy has been housed in federal confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, since September 2024 after being indicted on a trio of felony charges related to sex trafficking.
During a recent episode of “It is What it Is” podcast, rap icon Cam’ron wondered what it was like for co-host Ma$e to sit next to Diddy’s kids at the recent funeral of Christopher “Notorious BIG” Wallace’s mother, Voletta Wallace.

Ma$e said he was not seated near Diddy’s kids, but indicated they eyed each other from the distance. He added he would have no problem visiting their father Diddy in jail.
“I mean, if my name was on the list, I’d go visit Puff, you know?” Ma$e said. “I would visit him, make sure that he’s good.”
Cam’ron was incredulous, asking, “Why you ain’t do it when he was out?,” Cam asked while laughing again.
Ma$e said not everything Diddy did in life was bad

“These are the times you need people to check up and make sure you good. And not that I condone anything that they’re alleged to have done, just until they prove it, you kind of want to make sure that you don’t be like one of those people that, somebody did good for you…he didn’t do all bad, he did some good.”
Ma$e hastens to add that he’s not referring to the tape of Diddy beating and kicking former girlfriend Cassie, nor the alleged freak-off footage. He was only referring to Diddy from a musical standpoint.
“I’m not talking about the tape stuff and all that,” Ma$e continued. “I’m talking about just the musical side, giving me an opportunity, I think, as a person of class, you definitely got to show up and sit somewhere in the court, if they let you.”

Ma$e was signed to the beleaguered Bad Boy boss’ label in 1996, where he released three albums — Harlem World, in 1997, Double Up in ’99, and 2004’s Welcome Back.
Their relationship was damaged irreparably when Diddy hoarded all of the publishing of Ma$e’s music despite offering Diddy $2 million to acquire it.
The tense situation was exacerbated when Diddy told “The Breakfast Club” radio show in 2022 that Ma$e actually owed him millions of dollars.
“Mae owes me $3 million,” he said at the time. “That’s facts, I got the receipts. And I’m not gon’ go back-and-forth with Ma e. I’m not going back-and-forth with nobody. I’m just gonna speak up for myself now.”
Ma$e responded by accusing Diddy of swindling every Bad Boy Records artist on the roster, but that most cannot speak up about this because they have passed away or signed NDAs.

It was interesting then that, one year later, Diddy officially gave Ma$e his publishing in Sept. 2023.

Flau’jae Johnson erasing debt for Louisiana families
Women’s college basketball star and rapper Flau’jae Johnson has long added philanthropy to her portfolio of athletic and musical accomplishments.
The 21-year-old shooting guard for the Louisiana State University Tigers has partnered with credit agency Experian to help erase $5 million in debt for 5,000 Louisiana families.
There is a synergy with Experian’s selection of Johnson, who happens to be a junior business major. She also is one of the best women basketball players in the nation — in addition to being a rising rap raven.

Flau’jae Johnson spearheads campaign to erase familial debt
“You know what’s bigger than basketball? Financial empowerment,” Johnson said in a new commercial. “Finances are tough, and Experian is helping the next generation pursue their dreams. That’s why I’m excited to announce Experian is wiping out 5 million [dollars] of debt for families in Louisiana. … Money isn’t everything, but you need it to live a good life. The Experian app can help you save time and money, build your credit and help you gain more knowledge in finances.”

In the press release obtained by Complex, Johnson also said, “It’s hard to create a winning financial game plan when you are blocked by debt. I am excited to partner with Experian to empower families in the state and across the country so they can become financial champions of their future.”
Experian picked Louisiana, which has one of the highest poverty rates in the country, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
“Unmanageable debt prevents consumers from achieving their goals,” added Experian Consumer Services president Dacy Yee. “We hope this debt relief and access to Experian tools will help beneficiaries in Louisiana move toward a healthier financial future.”

The announcement was made on the eve of March Madness, the annual basketball tournament. Johnson is looking to win a second championship in three years as LSU’s leading scorer. She is averaging 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, good enough for a spot on the All-SEC first team.
Johnson, who turns 22 in November and is therefore eligible for the 2025 WNBA Draft, has been coy about whether she plans to stay in school and finish her degree or go pro. Changing paradigms in collegiate athletics spurred by lucrative NIL deals may incentivize Johnson to stay in school another year.

On her podcast, “Best of Both Worlds with Flau’jae,” Johnson broached the topic of entering the WNBA Draft.
“After heavy consideration and just talking with my team, my family, and everybody just involved in my athletic career, I want to let y’all know that I will be … I’m just playing,” she said laughing.
“If you don’t know, I am eligible for the [WNBA] Draft this year. So, I’m kind of just letting God guide me. Whenever I feel that push or [feel that] it’s time, then it’s time … But nah, I really don’t know. I’m just hooping right now.”

Toni Braxton Reveals Sister Tamar Has Blocked Her…Again

Toni Braxton has revealed that her sister, Tamar, has blocked her. The “Let It Flow” star shared a shady post on her Instagram, writing, “Wanted to repost that GORGEOUS picture of you, but I’m blocked, again?? Anyway, Happy Birthday Tay!” Toni, unable to post the usual celebratory photo, opted instead for a black screen with stars in place of a picture.

This latest rift between the Braxton sisters follows years of public drama, much of which has been documented on reality television. In the past, Tamar was reportedly dropped from Toni’s tour, adding fuel to ongoing tensions. Tamar has also had her own issues with their sister Tawanda, further straining the family dynamic.
While the exact reason for Tamar blocking Toni remains unclear, this public display of discord may not be the last chapter in their complicated relationship. The sisters have had their fair share of ups and downs, and it seems like they might not always see eye to eye. Despite the tension, Toni still wished Tamar a happy birthday, showing that their bond, even strained, still holds some significance.

Beyoncé Cowboy Carter Tour Sells 94% of Ticket Inventory, Plus a New Date Is Added
Barely a month after pre-sales began and with six weeks until opening night, the world tour is at 94% capacity across all dates, according to new stats from promoter Live Nation.
The Cowboy Carter Tour was announced on Feb. 3 with 22 shows in eight cities on either side of the Atlantic. In the ensuing days, demand forced additional dates in six of the eight markets, including two add-ons apiece in Atlanta and London.

But Queen Bey isn’t done yet, adding a 31st — and so far, final — date in a new location. Live Nation said on Monday that Beyoncé will bring the tour to Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on July 25, returning to Sin City after playing two shows at the same venue during the Renaissance World Tour in 2023.
The BeyHive Presale begins on Thursday, March 20 at noon PDT, with the Artist Presale at the same time on Monday, March 24. Additional pre-sales for Citi card members, Verizon Up, and Mastercard will also roll out in advance of the general on-sale (Tuesday, March 25).

The Cowboy Carter Tour follows the release of its namesake album. The set debuted atop the Billboard 200 last April and went on to win three record-extending Grammy awards, including album of the year and best country album. Beyoncé performed a Christmas Day NFL halftime show on Netflix, offering the first televised live performances of Cowboy Carter tracks and teased the tour announcement later that day.

Upon Beyoncé’s initial tour announcement, Billboard projected final earnings of $294 million from 1.1-1.2 million tickets. With her newest addition to a packed three-month schedule, Cowboy Carter Tour should exceed $325 million.

MSNBC’s Symone Sanders-Townsend Leaves Democratic Party in Protest of Schumer’s GOP Alliance
MSNBC host Symone Sanders-Townsend publicly declared she would leave the Democratic Party and register as an independent.
Her decision, announced during her show on Saturday, comes as a direct response to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s controversial support for a Republican-led government funding bill intended to avert a government shutdown.

Last Thursday (03-14-25), Schumer, along with nine other Democratic senators, voted in favor of a six-month funding measure that was championed by Senate Republicans. The bill passed with a significant majority, 54-46, but the implications of this bipartisan cooperation have sent shockwaves through the Democratic Party, particularly among its more progressive factions. For Sanders-Townsend, this was the final straw in a series of frustrations with the party’s direction.

“I’m a D.C. resident, and I’m pimped,” Sanders-Townsend exclaimed during her segment on The Weekend. “Ok, so you know, there’s actually little that the Senate minority leader can say, and the 10 Democrats that voted with the Republicans can say, to appease somebody like me. I’m [going to] change my registration to Independent, first and foremost.”
In a moment of defiance, she acknowledged her respect for Democratic leaders like Hakeem Jeffries, who were able to maintain party unity during this turbulent time.

Sanders-Townsend’s announcement reflects growing dissatisfaction among progressive Democrats who feel that leadership, particularly Schumer’s, has strayed too far from the party’s core values. Critics argue that the move to support a GOP bill undermines the party’s platform, especially on issues where Democrats have traditionally held strong positions, such as funding for essential services and social programs.
As Sanders-Townsend aired her grievances, Schumer faced a wave of backlash not just from political commentators but also from more extreme party members. The response from the party base has been notable; as members look for clear leadership and a united front against Republican opposition, any sign of compromise can be seen as disloyalty.

In light of this criticism, Schumer announced he would postpone a book tour, citing “security concerns,” a factor that many interpret as a response to the ire of fellow Democrats as well as the tense political climate.

The divide within the Democratic Party has been further highlighted by President Donald Trump’s praise for Schumer’s decision. “Congratulations to Chuck Schumer for doing the right thing — Took ‘guts’ and courage!” Trump tweeted, underscoring the complex dynamics at play. His endorsement is likely to create even more friction among Democrats, as it raises questions about Schumer’s allegiance and the implications of his actions in the wider political arena.

During a floor speech, Schumer defended his decision by arguing, “I believe it is my job to make the best choice for the country to minimize the harm to the American people. Therefore, I will vote to keep the government open and not shut it down.” By prioritizing government functionality over political dogma, Schumer positioned himself as a pragmatic leader, yet this rationale has drawn skepticism from many in his part
The fallout from Schumer’s decision has exposed considerable discontent within the Democratic ranks. While he remains the Senate Minority Leader, his standing has undoubtedly been compromised. House Democrats and progressives, who are already critical of his strategies, are now voicing their concerns more vocally. Schumer will need to navigate this internal dissent carefully as he seeks to maintain his leadership position.

Interestingly, despite the significant backlash to his recent actions, a formal challenge to Schumer’s leadership has not emerged, signaling that while trust may be wavering, his position isn’t immediately threatened. However, the dissatisfaction that’s brewing within the party could become a larger problem if his ability to effectively counter Republican strategies is called into question in the months ahead.

The decision by Sanders-Townsend to leave the Democratic Party reflects not only her disappointment in Schumer but also signals a broader crisis of confidence among progressives regarding the effectiveness of their leaders. As the political landscape continues to shift, the need for coherent strategies that align with voter expectations becomes crucial for party unity.
