Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons venture into the raw and unfiltered with Prada’s fall-winter 2025 collection, drawing on instinct as both theme and muse. This season redefines creativity as primal, embracing “unlearned reactions” and the visceral over the calculated.
The narrative unfolds through rich textures and nuanced tailoring, where floral-print boots evoke a romantic idealism, and fur-collared coats channel a primal authority. Delicate floral tops juxtapose rugged double-breasted coats, capturing a duality that is both raw and refined.
Plaid outerwear and tailored wool trousers cater to the collection’s charm, while vibrant boots—a bold yellow or patterned whimsy—reflect the unpredictable. A focus on unrestrained passion positions romance as a radical, driving force, celebrating spontaneity over deliberation.
Prada’s aesthetic, coined “savage elegance,” is an interplay of instinct and sophistication, commanding attention through its unexpected harmony. The Italian brand elevates the untamed, ending on an intimate note that resonates beyond the runway.#RHOP: Mia Thornton Announces Breakup With Boyfriend And Blames ‘RHOP’ For The Split
Mia Thornton is not a stranger to controversy and confusion. During her recent appearance on Bravo’s hit aftershow, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she finally set the record straight about her relationship with her boyfriend, Incognito, with the help of fellow reality star colleague, Quad Webb of reality television series, Married To Medicine, who was co-hosting the show on Sunday, January 26th.
According to Thornton, they decided to go their separate ways because of the attention he received from being on her show, Real Housewives of Potomac. “Inc has worked really, really hard for his reputation and his career; he’s 20 years in as a syndication radio personality,” said Mia, 40. And he feels as though this platform doesn’t align with his brand.”
She continued, “I respect that, and he will forever be my best friend. Are we exclusive, and are we dating? No,” she added. “It’s fine.”
When Webb pushed back on the reason for their split, Thornton became defensive, stating the timing of their romance wasn’t best, given that she’s still married to her husband, Gordon Thornton. “To his defense, I need to get a divorce first. I need to get a divorce first,” she shared. So we’re going to work on that. We’re going to focus on [Gordon] and the kids.”
However, despite their breakup, Thornton still believes she and Inc have a future together. “He’s not going anywhere,” she said. “What’s meant to be is forever.”
As previously reported, the housewife’s relationship with Incognito has been a hot topic over the past year, causing backlash for the network. While Incognito and Thornton were former high school sweethearts, they did rekindle their romance during her separation from Gordon. Some overlapping occurred throughout the marital relationship, causing Thorthon to question whether her husband, Gordon, was their son, Jeremiah’s biological father, or whether Incognito was the father.
Although a DNA test conducted by Gordon proved his paternity, Thornton and Incognito questioned the validity of the exam.
“I honestly do not trust Gordon’s test,” Mia said on WWHL of the exam, which she said she wasn’t a part of. “That’s why I’ve been asking Gordon for a formal test. This could have all been squashed a long time ago if everybody would just be mature adults.”
We’re hoping for a peaceful outcome for all parties involved.
RHOP airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET, while WWHL airs Sunday-Thursday evenings. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.

Tyler, The Creator also had a blog between 2007 and 2010 where he would detail the happenings of his life before deleting all but the last post once he blew up.

50 Cent Facing Assault Lawsuit From Photographer Claiming Rapper’s SUV Hit Him
50 Cent may be facing yet another legal battle after a photographer named Guadalupe De Los Santos accused the rapper of hitting him with his SUV.
Per TMZ, the alleged victim attended Fif’s book signing at The Grove in Los Angeles on Sept. 11 to shoot footage of him. After the event, he was riding his scooter filming when the rapper allegedly pulled up next to him at a red light, “forcefully swung” his passenger door open which hit the man causing him to fall off the scooter. De Los Santos claims he hit the pavement, suffered “bodily injuries,” and now his scooter is damaged beyond repair.
He believes the door only opened to hit him and even accused the Power mogul of ordering someone in the SUV to hit the photographer.
50 Cent’s legal team told TMZ, “Mr. Jackson has neither been served with nor seen a filed copy of a lawsuit filed by Ms. Allred’s firm. However, if and when such a frivolous claim is filed and served, rest assured that Mr. Jackson’s legal team will swiftly move to dismiss the matter and seek the maximum costs, fees, sanctions and other remedies that are available under law.”
The rep added, “Based upon the leaked reports presumably by Ms. Allred, Mr. Jackson is not alleged to be the driver of the vehicle or even the individual who the Plaintiff paparazzi alleges opened the door as he charged a vehicle as it drove away from the bookstore.”
Despite claiming that the lawsuit was leaked, it was properly filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday (Jan. 27).
Gloria Allred is reportedly representing De Los Santos. This prompted 50 to respond to the lawsuit by sharing photos of him and Allred. He captioned them with: “The moment I realized I don’t like lawyers. Gloria you should know better, chase a different ambulance. Gloria you’re not gonna get any money from me that way, but if you call me I’ll take you to dinner.”
De Los Santos says his medical bills are increasing and his sustained injuries are causing him to miss work thus prompting him to go after 50 for damages.
Cynthia Erivo opens up about feeling like an outsider
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdUS0kI4q38Ji-YqIZPz-kA1-iYYnrMlme0zD8d6PlYRm1eNbkjJ20mGSptz5y5n6NJqNNfqXdoXqcU5MVkbis7qcHKgbWFCgfRU5P7sbJkgDN8cFiuHaZYLhlzu0Iya5yrqeHbe8CUZfFMbEPTRcjf5shbdCPJ2jc_ABPkPHILPmF_U1vKnIfiXqw8CDZ/w640-h428/12.jpg)
The ‘Wicked’ star, 38, admits her vulnerable side helped her connect with her character Elphaba in the big screen movie-musical as she understands what it means to feel alone and be set apart from others. The role of Elphaba has been portrayed by numerous acclaimed actresses on Broadway since its debut in 2003.
“I think I was surprised by how connected I felt to Elphaba,” she told the Guardian newspaper. “Surface, we’re different: I walk into the room, I’m bald-headed, I’ve got no eyebrows, I’ve got nails, I’ve got piercings, I’ve got tattoos, for me that’s my everyday normal but a passerby might think: ‘What is happening here?'”
“But as you peel away those layers, yes, I understand what it feels like to be set apart from everybody else, and not fit in; yes, I understand what it feels like to be a kid whose father doesn’t care; yes, I understand what it’s like to feel alone when you’re in a room full of people who don’t know where you’re coming from or why you’re so tired, or why you do things your way,” she continued. Her raw honesty reflects the emotional depth she brings to the role of the misunderstood green witch.
“Me and Elphaba had that same journey, trying to fit, and it doesn’t work. Your only choice is to be who you are.” This sentiment resonates deeply with the story of ‘Wicked’, which has touched millions of theater-goers worldwide since its premiere.
Erivo‘s journey to this iconic role has been marked by numerous achievements, including a Tony Award for her breakthrough performance in ‘The Color Purple’ on Broadway. Her versatility as a performer has earned her recognition across multiple entertainment platforms, making her one of the few artists to be just one award away from the prestigious EGOT status.
The upcoming film adaptation of ‘Wicked’, directed by Jon M. Chu, pairs Erivo with pop sensation Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda. The casting announcement generated significant buzz among fans of both the musical theater and pop music communities, with early production photos suggesting a fresh take on the beloved story.
Throughout her career, Erivo has been vocal about representation in the entertainment industry and the importance of staying true to oneself. Her casting as Elphaba marks a significant moment in musical theater history, bringing new dimensions to a character traditionally portrayed through a different lens.
The actress’s commitment to authenticity extends beyond her professional work. Her distinctive appearance, which she discusses candidly in the interview, has become part of her identity as an artist and has inspired fans to embrace their own unique qualities.
‘Wicked‘ tells the untold story of the witches of Oz, exploring themes of friendship, prejudice, and the nature of good and evil. The musical, based on Gregory Maguire’s novel, has become a cultural phenomenon, breaking box office records and challenging audiences’ preconceptions about classic fairy tales.
For Erivo, the role of Elphaba represents more than just another character in her impressive repertoire. It’s a chance to bring her personal experiences of feeling different and finding strength in that difference to a character who has resonated with audiences for similar reasons.
The film adaptation of ‘Wicked’ is set to be released in two parts, with the first installment scheduled to hit theaters in late 2024. This innovative approach to the beloved musical promises to delve deeper into the rich storyline and complex characters that have captivated audiences for decades.
President Trump freezes all federal loans
President Trump has been extremely active during his first week back in office, but his latest move is the most puzzling by far. An internal email delivered to agencies on Jan. 27 stated that the White House budget office is putting a freeze on all federal grants and loans, causing a great deal of worry around the White House.
Acting head of the White House Office of Management and Budget Matthew J. Vaeth directs federal agencies to “temporarily pause all activities related to obligations or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance” in a two-page statement. The Washington Post was able to obtain a copy of the memo, which also requires each agency to conduct a “comprehensive analysis” to make sure its grant and loan programs align with President Donald Trump‘s executive orders, which, among other things, sought to restrict clean energy spending and outlaw federal diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI, initiatives.
The statement adds that the federal financial assistance that was placed on hold “does not include assistance provided directly to individuals” and that its directives should not affect Social Security or Medicare recipients. Programs that will be impacted include “financial assistance for foreign aid, nongovernmental organizations, DEI, woke gender ideology and the Green New Deal,” according to the document. According to Brian Riedl, a senior scholar at the center-right research tank Manhattan Institute, the directive could affect at least tens of billions of dollars in payments.
So why would Trump do this? There are quite a few reasons. First and foremost, it is to limit the government’s spending. Trump has stated on numerous occasions he doesn’t trust how prior administrations handled money. According to the memo, federal financial aid — including grants and loans — accounted for nearly $3 trillion of the $10 trillion “that the Federal Government spent [in fiscal year 2024, which ended Sept. 30, 2024].” However, those numbers were slightly exaggerated; according to the Congressional Budget Office, a nonpartisan organization, the government spent $6.7 trillion during the fiscal year 2024.
Speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss private matters, a source close to Trump confirmed all this is true. As of Jan. 28, the memo will go into effect. By Feb. 10, all agencies that have been affected by the loan suspension must also give comprehensive lists of the projects that have been suspended under the new order. According to the memo, federal agencies must choose a senior political appointee — not a career official — with “responsibility and oversight” for monitoring federal spending.
Federal grants support a broad range of recipients and causes. They go to universities for education and research programs and to nonprofits for health care and studies, among thousands of other purposes. This ban will affect millions, and the impact could be extremely detrimental for those who are relying on this federal aid to pay bills and or salaries. Some of the federal aid programs affected include SNAP, or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Medicaid, WIC and FAFSA, as well as Section 8 and other rental assistance programs.

The singer made the announcement during a recent Posted On The Corner radio interview, also revealing that her niece Ashlee, the daughter of her brother Michael, will be joining the show.
Ashlee went viral late last year after sharing the story of how one of her (unnamed) aunts cut her off over inappropriate texts exchanged between the aunt’s partner at the time and a then-16-year-old Ashlee.
Tamar explained that Ashlee will be joining season 2 of The Braxtons “not to be messy,” but to understand that someone in the family is there for her.

Akademiks Reportedly Banned From Twitch Following Explicit Conversation w/ 15-Year-Old Streamer
DJ Akademiks has reportedly been banned from Twitch, just days after facing public backlash for making inappropriate comments toward a 15-year-old streamer.
The well-known podcast host’s Twitch channel was reportedly disabled earlier today, January 28, with a message on his profile reading:
“This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s community guidelines or terms of service.”
Some viewers claim to have found code in Akademiks’ profile suggesting that the ban is “indefinite,” but the platform has not yet confirmed how long the suspension will last.
The situation follows a controversial conversation Akademiks had with a 15-year-old broadcaster and another streamer, PlaqueBoyMax, during which Akademiks made inappropriate comments, asking the minor about a hypothetical sexual situation involving Max.
The remark was quickly deemed “nasty” and “very weird” by PlaqueBoyMax, which led to a public exchange of words between the two.
In an attempt to address the situation, Akademiks went live to explain his side. He apologized to the young streamer but continued to criticize PlaqueBoyMax’s community, calling it “toxic.” He stated:
“Definitely a regrettable moment, and we’re gonna use that as a teachable moment. I don’t think I came this far, built this platform, to be that irresponsible. I got nothing against Max. I said what I had to say last night. I stand on every word, but I have nothing against Max…I do think his community is toxic.”
Despite his apology, Akademiks’ response sparked mixed reactions, with many of PlaqueBoyMax’s fans refusing to accept it.
As of now, Akademiks has not publicly responded to the reported suspension

The Real Housewives of Potomac star was found guilty of DUI, negligent driving, and failure to control speed after a March 2024 car crash. Initially scheduled for January 29, her sentencing has been moved to February 26, 2025, after a Maryland judge granted her request for more time.
According to In Touch, Karen Huger’s new legal team, led by David A. Martella and Barry Helfand, filed the motion, explaining that Karen Huger had “discharged” her previous attorneys to hire them. The motion also cited Karen’s limited communication with them due to her enrollment in an out-of-state rehab program, which her attorneys said “severely limit[s] the counsel’s ability to communicate” before sentencing.

Trump freezes federal aid to Americans, triggering fury

President Donald Trump ordered a freeze starting Tuesday on potentially trillions of dollars in federal funding to Americans, impacting everything from education grants to small businesses loans -- and sparking accusations that he is violating the constitution.
The order was issued by the White House budget office in a memo a week into Trump's second term.
It was not clear in the memo, signed by acting director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Matthew Vaeth, how such a pause on disbursements of funding will work or for how long.
The extraordinary measure follows a similar announcement that US foreign aid is frozen.
Trump won the presidency in part on promises to dismantle large sections of the US government and to slash spending.
However, the aggressive shake-up is also aimed at making sure that federal spending programs -- and government employees -- support his right-wing political goals.
A senior Trump administration official told reporters that the funding stoppage was a tool to enforce compliance. Programs that did not conflict with Trump would see their funding continue.
The order instantly sowed fear and confusion among federal grant recipients.
It also sparked accusations from Democrats that the Republican president is violating the constitution by usurping Congress's power to control the US budget.
- 'Political vandalism?' -
Federal spending included more than $3 trillion in financial assistance like grants and loans in fiscal year 2024 -- all of which was approved by Congress.
The senior official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the pause was being enacted in a way that was in line with the law.
However, Democratic Senator Patty Murray called the White House order "a brazen & illegal move."
"The law is the law -- Trump must immediately reverse course, follow the requirements of the law, & ensure the nation's spending laws are implemented as Congress intended," she posted on X.
Another senator, Richard Blumenthal, said the "illegal" order will create "havoc" in medical and research facilities, which receive major government funding.
"This is political vandalism. Taking a wrecking ball to federal agencies does nothing to make government more efficient but it is already doing grave damage to people and programs throughout the country," Senator Chris Van Hollen said on X.
The OMB memo stated that "federal agencies must temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance and other relevant agency activities."
It excluded Social Security and Medicare benefits -- used by retirees -- from this pause.
Areas that might be impacted, it said, include "financial assistance for foreign aid, nongovernmental organizations, DEI, woke gender ideology, and the green new deal" -- references to racial equality and climate change programs that Trump has vowed to eradicate.
Vaeth said that financial aid should be "dedicated to advancing Administration priorities," issues like easing the burden of inflation, unleashing US energy and manufacturing, and "ending 'wokeness.'"
The Sierra Club, an environmental organization, said the freeze could jeopardize funding for everything from disaster relief to home heating subsidies, safe drinking water programs, and the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
"In issuing a sweeping halt to federal funding, grants and loans, Donald Trump has... immediately and significantly put Americans in danger," Sierra Club executive director Ben Jealous

Lady GaGa Breaks Silence On 'Joker: Folie A Deux' Flop
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibmuBvUAjjmJ6Xdv3t6MKy5EP012dOhqMzW-iZ4wZbLvEQYdlPaqNXGUbpNvduwfL-kK0kngXxJAJjmyuaKAZYeyijF4OqGPWdgHVWo3qunkwonbdCEBB_B61t0aIp_wgbpfegZw3uRwPrqBPPaSFIXA3yI0PA6HJ1ushbfPOTEqm9wGY0IIj4GSI5DiZy/w640-h360/22.jpg)
Months after "Joker: Folie a Deux" earned largely negative reviews, Lady Gaga, who starred as Harley Quinn, provided an insightful response to the backlash. In a recent interview with Elle, the Oscar-winning performer discussed the film's reception and her perspective on artistic failure and success.
According to Gaga, "People just sometimes don't like some things. It's that simple. And I think to be an artist, you have to be willing for people to sometimes not like it."
Despite "Joker: Folie a Deux" flop, Gaga is undeterred and remains committed to taking creative risks. She added, "You keep going even if something didn't connect in the way that you intended. When [the fear of failure] makes its way into your life, that can be hard to get control of. It's part of the mayhem."
The sequel to the highly successful 2019 film "Joker", which grossed over $1 billion and won two Academy Awards, "Joker: Folie à Deux" diverged significantly by incorporating musical elements.
This creative direction was polarizing, leading to mixed reviews and ultimately poor box office performance, grossing just $207.5 million worldwide. The film also received six Razzie nominations, reflecting its controversial reception.
Cast member Tim Dillon harshly criticized the movie, calling it "the worst film ever made." He noted the absence of a coherent plot and predicted the movie's failure, stating, "It's not even hate-watchable. That's how terrible it is."
Contrary to these harsh critiques, renowned director Quentin Tarantino has raved about "Joker 2", praising Joaquin Phoenix's performance as "one of the best performances I've ever seen in my life." This dichotomy in opinions highlights the artistic risks that Gaga embraced by joining the project.
In her Elle interview, Gaga emphasized the importance of continuing to take risks and not being paralyzed by the fear of failure.
This resilient attitude is reflected in her upcoming album, "Mayhem," set to release on March 7. Gaga described the album's creative process as "reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can't put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way."
Through the ups and downs, Lady Gaga remains a beacon of artistic resilience and unwavering support for her fans and communities.
NLE Choppa Defends Provocative Playgirl Photoshoot, Says He Isn’t “Gay-Baiting”
NLE Choppa graced the cover of Playgirl‘s January 2025 issue. Images from the photoshoot were aptly risqué, but the 22-year-old rapper felt the need to defend its sexually suggestive nature, as many deemed the images as “gay-baiting.”
One image shows him flaunting a part of his backside. However, he confirmed that he doesn’t identify as gay and isn’t trying to bait anyone.
“I really don’t care, and I think that’s the problem,” the “Slut Me Out 2” emcee stated in a video. “I think I don’t care so much that it’s like a disconnect. It’s like since I don’t care so much and I know who I am so much, I just feel like narratives get painted because I don’t care so much. So I just wanted to clear the narrative first. Do not say that I’m a gay baiter because I’m comfortable enough to show off the perfection that God has orchestrated over my physical, my mental, my spiritual and even my emotions.”
Choppa continued, “I am not a gay baiter because I post a selfie in the mirror showing off how beautiful I am. I am not a gay baiter if I post a picture showing off how much God has blessed me from below the waist with something that got women going crazy. I am not a gay baiter because in my Playgirl shoot I showed a piece of my a**. I can’t show a piece of my own a** without being called a name? It’s my a**! I am not a gay baiter because I showed my a** to a lady photographer.”
He did affirm that he loves members of the LGBTQIA+ community, but noted, “I would never want to bait gay people to love me for a certain reason. That’s not what I wanna do.”
Back in September, the Memphis native showed his support for the LGBTQIA+ community when he performed at Atlanta’s Black Pride event.
He did receive some backlash and addressed it. “A lot of muthaf**kas will ask me, ‘You a rapper, what you doing at a club like this?’” he said. “Well, I say, ‘F**k them n-ggas.’ You wanna know why? Every day, man, we wake up and we fight [for] acceptance. Whether it’s our skin color, whether it’s our weight, whether it’s how we look, whether it’s what our sexuality is. At the end of the day, I believe in one thing: I feel like everybody is equal, no matter how they drink their water, how they eat their food, how they piss, s**t or muthaf**king sleep, do you feel me?”
He expressed that his appearance wasn’t performative and that he didn’t do it for clout.
“I’m not here for no gimmicks. I’m not here for no extra followers. I’m not here for no extra views. ‘Cause I already got ’em if we’re keeping it a hunnid. I’m really here to make a difference and show y’all it’s love, bruh. We Black, no matter what,” Choppa explained.
Ryan Coogler Calls Vampire Thriller ‘Sinners’ a Personal Project Rooted in Family History and ‘Hoodoo Culture’

*Michael B. Jordan takes on dual roles as twins in the upcoming horror film “Sinners,” directed by Ryan Coogler. Set against the backdrop of the racially segregated South during the 1930s, the story follows siblings Elijah and Elisa as they return to their hometown to confront an ominous and enigmatic threat.
The film promises a blend of historical tension and supernatural intrigue and marks another collaboration between Jordan and Coogler, known for their acclaimed work on “Creed” and “Black Panther.”
Here’s the official “Sinners” synopsis: Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
During a Zoom video call with members of the media on January 27, Coogler shared insights into the creative process behind his upcoming horror film. He discussed the inspirations that shaped the movie, the historical and supernatural elements woven into its narrative, and the unique dynamic he shares with Jordan. Coogler described their partnership as a rare bond built on trust and mutual respect, noting that their ability to challenge and inspire each other creatively has elevated every project they’ve worked on together.
“The rarity of it comes in that we kind of grew up in the business together. Mike was a full-time actor as a child, so I got to meet him after he had already been in some great shows and some great movies. But in terms of being a leading man in feature films, his first time doing that was on my first feature film, Fruitvale,” Coogler explained.
“He’s got this incredible mix of talent and charisma. A lot of stuff is God-given, but then he also is a real craftsman,” the filmmaker continued. “He cares about the craft and is constantly trying to get better at it and constantly trying to challenge himself. It’s very unique to find that in somebody. We’ve become friends and continue to challenge each other. It’s been a great working relationship and a great personal relationship.”
Coogler revealed that “Sinners” is a deeply personal project, shaped by his own life experiences and the cultural history he grew up with, creating a story that feels both intimate and resonant.
“It’s very personal. My maternal grandfather is from Mississippi, and my Uncle James, who passed away while I was finishing up Creed, also from Mississippi, and it was a place that I had never been. My maternal grandfather passed before I was born. We grew up in a house that he built in Oakland after he had moved to California, and I was fortunate enough to have a close relationship with my Uncle James, and this movie is about … The seed of it started with that relationship with my uncle,” Coogler explained.
“He would listen to blues music all the time. He would only talk about Mississippi when he was listening to that music, and he had a profound effect on my life, and I got a chance to dig into my own ancestral history with this film, and it’s been extremely rewarding,” he continued.
Coogler also drew inspiration from an eclectic mix of filmmakers, citing the atmospheric storytelling of the Coen Brothers, particularly “Inside Llewyn Davis” and “Fargo,” alongside the gritty style of Robert Rodriguez and the suspenseful mastery of John Carpenter.
“But the biggest influences, truthfully, the biggest influences are not in cinema,” he said. “The novel Salem’s Lot, that’s a massive influence on the film. My favorite thing ever made is The Twilight Zone…and my favorite episode is The Last Rites of Jeff Myrtlebank. Salem’s Lot and The Last Rites of Jeff Myrtlebank are probably the biggest influences.”
When asked about his research for the film, Coogler explained that he pulled from his existing knowledge of African American history, particularly its deep connections to supernatural folklore, while also exploring additional sources to enrich the story’s authenticity.
“This film was heavily researched. We went hard to make sure that the only “make believe” in the film is the supernatural,” he said.
“We wanted the world to be extremely tactile in the same way that we approached our other films… We did the Blues Trail when we were researching the film and doing some early location scouting. We went to B.B. King’s club in Indianola, Mississippi, and played on the stage at his club. It was just heavily researched. And in terms of supernatural elements as well, it’s all of that there in terms of Hoodoo culture.”
