#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Plastic Surgeon Weighs In
Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes is no stranger to plastic surgery, and she’s previously admitted to getting a nose job, a breast lift, a mini Brazilian butt lift and liposuction.
However, NeNe, 56, looked practically unrecognizable in an October 2024 Instagram snap.
“Lately, there have been pronounced differences to her facial features,” Dr. Craig Blum, a double-board-certified plastic surgeon who has not treated NeNe, exclusively tells Life & Style. “Most notably, her nose appears thinner, which serves to open her face and give it a softer, more youthful look.”
Dr. Blum also adds that “she may have had laser procedures beneath the under eyes to tighten loose, crepey skin” and says that NeNe’s “smooth forehead suggests the possibility of ongoing nonsurgical treatments like filler or Botox to maintain a refreshed look.”
In August 2022, the Bravolebrity shared a portion of her plastic surgery journey with fans when she underwent a Brazilian butt lift and liposuction.
“I did it! I got a ‘Professional BBL’ with Dr. Okoro! Follow my surgery journey with Dr. Okoro at Georgia Plastic. I’m almost ready to show off my new snatched look but I want you to be snatched too!” NeNe wrote alongside the video she shared via Instagram on August 17, 2022.
The former reality TV star also discussed her decision to have plastic surgery and said that she wanted to “keep it classy, not trashy.”
“First of all, there are women of a certain age … and women who are much younger … [who] are all doing plastic surgery,” NeNe explained in a separate video. “If you followed me on the Real Housewives of Atlanta many, many, many years ago, I did some surgery — I did my boobs and I did my nose. A lot of people for whatever reason think that I’ve done a lot of stuff. I get all kinds of comments, it’s really hilarious to me. But Dr. Okoro will tell you that I have not and that is the truth.”
NeNe revealed that she wasn’t sure what procedures she wanted to have until she had her consultation but knew that she wanted to “do something” to update her look.
“I wanted to have liposuction,” NeNe continued, adding that she wanted to slim down her “stomach and sides,” along with her “bra roll,” specifically. “You women know what I’m talking about, sometimes when you put your bra on and you want to wear a [backless] shirt and you see a little extra bit of fat that you just don’t think is attractive.”
However, the I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding star was hesitant to get a Brazilian butt lift at first.
“I just feel like the old folks home is going to look crazy with a bunch of giant booties up in here,” NeNe said.
While she admitted that she “liked her ass,” she wanted to “fix [her] problem areas.” Dr. Okoro explained that even the smallest of injections in her posterior would be considered a Brazilian butt lift, and NeNe said that she was like a “professional mini BBL” to help her achieve the desired look.

(AP) Lou Donaldson, a celebrated jazz saxophonist with a warm, fluid style who performed with everyone from Thelonius Monk to George Benson and was sampled by Nas, De La Soul and other hip-hop artists, has died. He was 98.
Donaldson died Saturday, according to a statement on his website. Additional details were not immediately available.
A native of Badin, North Carolina and a World War II veteran, Donaldson was part of the bop scene that emerged after the war and early in his career recorded with Monk, Milt Jackson and others. Donaldson also helped launch the career of Clifford Brown, the gifted trumpeter who was just 25 when he was killed in a 1956 road accident. Donaldson also was on hand for some of pianist Horace Silver’s earliest sessions.
Over more than half a century, he would blend soul, blues and pop and achieve some mainstream recognition with his 1967 cover of one of the biggest hits of the time, “Ode to Billy Joe,” featuring a young Benson on guitar. His notable albums included “Alligator Bogaloo,” “Lou Donaldson at His Best” and “Wailing With Lou.” Donaldson would open his shows with a cool, jazzy jam from 1958, “Blues Walk.”
“That’s my theme song. Gotta good groove, a good groove to it,” he said in a 2013 interview with the National Endowment for the Arts, which named him a Jazz Master. Nine years later, his hometown renamed one of its roads Lou Donaldson Boulevard.

However, ahead of its official debut, fans noticed that the cover was awfully similar to that of Sega Bodega’s “Angel On My Shoulder,” released three years prior, in 2021. The wooden walls, old computer and phantom-like person behind the two musicians were just among the few resemblances. The Irish singer himself even quote-tweeted the post, “Not even trying to put a spin on it is where I’m like, ‘Yeesh.’”
Of course, Lil Nas X later addressed the situation on his Instagram Story, where he called Sega Bodega’s version a reference. That, unfortunately, didn’t stop social media from going in, with one person writing, “Stop stealing from smaller artists.” Someone else emphasized, “I’m sure you’re a great guy, but your team is not handling this rollout [too] well.”
Lil Nas X’s original caption for the “Light Again!” cover reveal read, “It just dawned on me how lucky I am to have all of you that still f**k with me [because] I know it isn’t always easy! Lady Gaga is reportedly set to appear in the second series of ‘Wednesday’
The 38-year-old singer-and-actress has landed a mystery cameo in the star-studded cast, led by Jenna Ortega’s titular character in Netflix’s ‘Addams Family’ spin-off, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It’s no surprise that Gaga will make an appearance on “Wednesday.”
In 2022, after seeing Jenna’s character do a dance to ‘Goo Goo Muck’ by The Cramps in season one, fans of the show started a viral TikTok trend where they’d perform the moves to a sped-up version of Gaga’s song “Bloody Mary,” from her 2011 album Born This Way.
It proved so popular that the song got a streaming boost and started heading back up the charts.
Gaga, who is referred to as Mother Monster — as her fans are called Little Monsters — even did her own video performing the spooky routine.
At the time, she wrote: “Slay Wednesday!

“I haven’t read anything yet, but I’m excited to see what everyone has been working on and what the future looks like for Euphoria,” Zendaya told Vanity Fair. “I don’t really have much of an answer except for right now it’s set to start shooting in January.”
If Euphoria Season 3 begins production in January, it will mark three years since the Season 2 premiere. Euphoria Season 3 has experienced several setbacks, including unexpected deaths within the creative team, the Hollywood strikes, and turmoil between creator Sam Levinson and HBO.
Reports that the third season was dead began to surface due to the busy schedules of stars Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney. In response, HBO and Max boss Casey Bloys recently denied those reports and confirmed Euphoria will begin filming in early 2025.
“I think we have a start date, mid to late January. Nothing’s changed,” Bloys said. “Somebody said something online, and then this whole thing started. We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy. We’re moving ahead. All of the actors. Is the show.”
