Kenya Moore is moving forward and having fun with her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-hosts. The Reality TV star was recently photographed while spending time with Kandi Burruss who orchestrated a play date with little Ace Wells Tucker and baby Brooklyn Daly.
Brooklyn was the exuberant little one that she always is during her playdate with Ace. Kenya’s daughter was pretty in pink as she wore sweats that matched a top that bore different shade of the color. Ace was the responsible older play date who held Brooklyn’s hand while taking a picture. Ace is getting so big!

Kenya Moore is moving forward after confirming her separation and impending divorce from Brooklyn’s father, Marc Daly. The RHOA asked for privacy regarding the matter in her statement. NeNe Leakes, however, reportedly asked Kenya about her marital issues during taping for an episode in the upcoming season.
“It’s definitely an issue within her,” Kenya said when recently asked by TMZ about NeNe’s reported hostility towards her. “I don’t know why she’s so intimidated by me, but I really just wish that she would get herself together,” Moore continued. “I come in peace, but she just always seems to find a way to be bothered.”

Wedding bells are ringing for Taraji P. Henson and former NFL player Kelvin Hayden, who confirmed that they’ll be getting married on April 4, 2020. Though she’s looking forward to saying, “I do,” the future Mrs. Hayden is not sweating the details.
The actress appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote the final season of Empire and dished on her upcoming wedding.
Colbert asked if she’s been enjoying wedding planning activities like sampling cakes. “I don’t do samples,” she responds. “I don’t do samples. Don’t send me swatches. I told my wedding planner make it pretty, fun, make sure the food is good and a bomb deejay. No bridal party. I’m not a bridezilla. Please, I just want to say my vows in front of people I love, eat good food and have fun. That’s it!”
So it sounds like the bride-to-be has the ceremony and reception covered – check! But what about the dress? Well, it’s only right that she commissioned the one and only Vera Wang to design her dress. “I trust Vera! That’s why I had her make the dress,” Henson told Extra on the Emmys red carpet. “I don’t have to lose sleep. I know she’s going to have me look beautiful.”
Henson and Hayden went public with their relationship back in December 2017 and shared news of their engagement on Mother’s Day 2018.
“I said yes y’all!!!” the Empire actress wrote on Instagram, showing off her glistening engagement ring. “He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #Mothersday gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out!!!”

SRG/ILS group continues to add to their roster of talented R&B artists with the recent signing of Vivian Green. The new deal is in partnership with Kwame’s Make Noise Recordings, where she released her previous two albums.
Most recently Vivian had a top 10 Adult R&B Radio hit in January 2018 with the song “I Don’t Know” from her latest album “VGVI”.
Vivian’s soon to be announced new release will be her seventh full length album and third with producer, collaborator and Make Noise Recordings founder Kwamé.

Fat Joe takes a stroll down memory lane, and apparently that involves recalling a time he ignored a young rapper who'd become an international superstar.
Speaking with Florida's WEDR 99.1 FM Miami for their 99 Jamz Live event in an interview portion that was published to the station's Instagram account on Monday (Oct. 21), the Terror Squad founder spoke on a period of time in which he rejected the chance to listen to Eminem multiple times. Six, to be exact.
"What happened was Eminem out here in Miami, he gave me his demo like six different times." Joe said. "And everywhere I went there was this little White boy and he kept giving me his demo he was like 'yo listen to my music, I am telling you, I am nice, I'm nice, I'm nice.' And I never really, I didn't do it, and now he is the biggest guy in the universe. "
Retweeting an Uproxx story about his apparent Em rejection today, Joe admitted that it was the biggest mistake of his life.
Elsewhere in the interview, Joe remembered a similar experience with Rick Ross and recollected the time he apparently helped Pitbull get signed by bringing him to New York City.
Fat Joe recently made other headlines when he said that all Latinos are Black.
"Let's speak about Latinos not being Black," Joe said in a September interview with Hot 97's Ebro on the Morning. "Latinos are Black. In Cuba, at one time, there was 8 million Cubans. 5 million, unfortunately, were slaves. 3 million were actual Cubans, and they integrated and had babies. Same thing with Puerto Rico when you go to Loíza. And when you talk about Santeria, that came from the motherland Africa. Sometimes, Latinos may even identify themselves with African and Black culture more than Black people. This ain't no crazy thing. Fat Joe ain't on crack. He know what he talking about."
His comments were met with some criticism, but his friend and frequent collaborator Remy Ma came to his defense.
OKURRR!!!! Cardi B joins the family for Fast & Furious 9!
Fresh off making her big-screen debut in the hit film Hustlers, Cardi B is buckling up for Fast & Furious 9. The Grammy-winning rapper has a small role in the high-octane sequel, EW has learned. Her new gig was teased Tuesday by Fast star and producer Vin Diesel, via an Instagram video from the U.K. set of the upcoming film.
“I’m tired, but I can’t wait,” Cardi said alongside Diesel. “I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one.”
Director Justin Lin returns to the Fast world for the latest installment, which will also bring back Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron, while John Cena and Cardi are among the newcomers.
Fast 9 hits theaters May 22.
NewsHour’s Gwen Ifill memorialized with USPS Forever stamp!
The U.S. Postal Service is honoring the late PBS NewsHour anchor Gwen Ifill with a commemorative Forever stamp.
The stamp, which was unveiled Tuesday, features a 2008 photo of Ifill with the words “BLACK HERITAGE” at the top and Ifill’s name at the bottom.
It is the 43rd stamp in the Black Heritage series and one of several new designs that will be issued next year.
Ifill worked at the NewsHour for 17 years, covering eight presidential campaigns and moderating two vice-presidential debates. She was also the moderator and managing editor of “Washington Week.”
On Nov. 14, 2016, Ifill died from complications of cancer. She was 61.
Lizzo’s Lawyer Denies The ‘Specious’ Claims That She Plagiarized ‘Truth Hurts’!
Lizzo’s lawyer has responded to the claims that the singer plagiarized parts of her hit song “Truth Hurts” in a statement sent to Billboard after the accusations surfaced, saying that the claimants didn’t contribute “any of the material” for the track — which she says they previously confirmed in writing.
Cynthia Arato, an attorney for Lizzo from Shapiro Arato Bach law firm, wrote that, “The Raisens are not writers of ‘Truth Hurts.’ They did not collaborate with Lizzo or anyone else to create this song, and they did not help write any of the material that they now seek to profit from, which is why they expressly renounced any claim to the work, in writing, months ago. Although it has become all too commonplace for successful artists to be subjected to these type of opportunistic claims, it is nevertheless disappointing that after all of her hard work, Lizzo has to respond to this specious claim.”
Lizzo was accused of using a line from a song she co-wrote with songwriter Justin Raisen in “Truth Hurts,” borrowing the melody and chords from “Healthy” without credit or compensation. Raisen and his brother Jeremiah allege that they, Lizzo, and fellow songwriters Jesse St. John and Yves Rothman previously used the now iconic, meme-bait phrase “”I just did a DNA test… turns out I’m 100% that bitch” in “Healthy” in 2017. Justin Raisen posted an Instagram video of the group writing “Healthy” yesterday, asking for 5% of the profits from “Truth Hurts” and saying that he didn’t want to “throw any negativity toward Lizzo’s momentum and movement as a cultural figure.”
Raisen also believes that the person who posted the original tweet that inspired the line, London-based singer Mina Lioness, also deserves compensation, which he would provide from his 5% share.

Mixing and mingling with the who’s who in town is politics as usual for superstar comedienne Tiffany Haddish. With the 2020 Presidential Election coming up, it looks like Tiffany Haddish has found her pick in South Bend, Indiana’s Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
Tiffany joked with the presidential candidate: “Hey guys. I’ve been thinking about running for President. I said it earlier in the year, but then I did the research, and I’m too young! You have to be 35 to be President. I’m too young!” The “Girls Trip” star panned her phone towards Mayor Buttigieg:

Rihanna and Drake seem to be on friendly terms once again. After falling out with one another, the chart-toppers were reportedly runited at Drizzy's private party on Monday night (October 21), as per The Shade Room. According to the celebrity gossip account, the rapper rented out Los Angeles' Poppy nightclub, where he and close friends partied until 5 a.m. Rih received an invite and partook in festivities alongside Lyrica, who shared videos from the evening on her Instagram Stories. Not only did Drake rent out the venue, but he also had some good ol' McDonalds delivered to his guests.

Body of missing 3-year-old Alabama girl found; Two being charged!
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— Investigators searching through garbage found the body of a 3-year-old girl who was missing more than a week, and authorities are charging two people with murder, police said Tuesday.
Birmingham Police Chief Patrick Smith told a news conference that the remains of Kamille McKinney were located in a trash bin that had been taken to a landfill. Police had been watching garbage deposits from a certain part of the city, he said.
Smith said police were obtaining murder warrants against two people previously identified as persons of interest in the case, 39-year-old Patrick Devone Stallworth and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Derick Irisha Brown.
Lawyers for both have said they are innocent.
The child, known as “Cupcake” to relatives, vanished while outside a birthday party on Oct. 12. Investigators know of no link between the suspects and the girl or her family, Smith said.
2 persons of interest in Alabama child abduction deny involvement
“We believe this was something they thought about and acted upon. They saw an opportunity to take a young child, and they did,” said Smith, who did not reveal a potential motive.
Stallworth, arrested after officers located a vehicle seen near the abduction site, previously was charged with child pornography, but authorities said the charge wasn’t related to the missing child.
It wasn’t clear how long the child might have been dead. Mayor Randall Woodfin said the girl’s parents were experiencing “unimaginable” pain.
“This is a tough moment for our city, a tough moment for the family,” he said.
Gov. Kay Ivey, in a statement Tuesday night, offered her condolences to Kamille’s family.
“The heart of our state is broken…,” Ivey said. “Our prayers remain with Kamille’s family and all who have been touched by this nightmare.”

Diddy's sons Quincy and Christian 'King' Combs were involved in a car accident Monday evening (October 21).
According to The Shade Room, the crash occurred on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles shortly after the two left their father's home. The accident was reportedly a two-car crash that involved a female driver. Thankfully, no one was injured and all who were involved were able to walk away from the crash unharmed.
Witnesses told TSR that "Christian left the scene in a black Range Rover with Diddy’s bodyguards while Quincy stayed behind as he was the one driving." The eyewitness added that Quincy chatted with the female who was involved in the crash to exchange necessary information.
Following the accident, Diddy's Maybach was spotted at the scene of the accident. While he didn't get out of the vehicle, TSR reports that the business mogul came to check on Quincy.

Black Man Rehired As Security Guard After High School Fires Him For Telling A Student To Not Call Him The N-Word!
A Black man who was fired from his job as a school security guard for telling a student not to call him the n-word has gotten his job back after a major national outcry.
Marlon Anderson was fired last week from his job at a high school in Madison, Wisconsin, after he told a Black student to stop calling him the n-word, while using the n-word to make his point. Anderson was fired under a zero-tolerance policy that district officials adopted after firing or forcing six district employees to resign for using racial slurs in front of or at students, according to USA Today. After he was let go, more than 1,000 students walked out of classrooms on Friday in protest of the school district’s decision.
In the incident, which occurred on Oct. 9, Anderson was escorting a disruptive male student out of Madison’s West High School building when the student started calling Anderson the slur after pushing the school’s assistant principal and threatening to beat her up. Anderson explained that he was only using the word to make a point, not to carelessly use it. “Every type of N-word you can think of, that’s what he was calling me,” Anderson told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Friday. “I said, do not call me that name. I’m not your N-word. Do not call me that.” The assistant principal turned on her portable two-way radio, allowing the student body and administrators to hear the conversation. Following the incident, Anderson was placed on administrative leave until the district official could negotiate a “transition plan.” After an investigation of the incident, Anderson was fired.
But five days later, Anderson was hired back at his job. “I’m back!!” Anderson posted on Facebook. “Now we have to address the policy!! God is good!!!!” A spokeswoman for the Madison School District did not immediately confirm Anderson’s announcement, but Madison Teachers Inc. union executive director Doug Keillor said Anderson will receive full pay and benefits until his return to school is finalized. “MTI is pleased to see the District rescind the termination of Marlon Anderson, paving the way for him to return to the incredible work he does with Madison’s students,” Keillor said.
Tennessee Politician Claims White Men Have “Very Few Rights” In Offensive Rant: “We Got A Queer Running For President”!
A shocking, yet not so shocking video has surfaced of a politician in Tennessee making a homophobic comment while talking about presidential candidates, all while claiming white men in this country have very few rights.
“We’ve Got A Queer Running For President,” Sevier County Commissioner Warren Hurst says, in reference to 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg. While he did not mention Buttigieg by name, he is the openly gay candidate currently running for president.
Hurst was reportedly initially speaking on gun owners’ rights during a public meeting on Monday and went off on an offensive rant. Hurst was reportedly against the county commission’s pending vote on becoming a gun sanctuary city and was calling for people to, “wake up.” He also commented about his concerns about a “liberal agenda” and its impact on the US.
In footage capture by WVLT, you can hear him say, “I’m not prejudice, but by golly as a white male in this country has very few rights and they’re getting took more every day.”

The comments were graciously welcomed by the crowd as most of the people can be heard laughing or cheering, with the exception of one lady who wanted no parts in the racist and homophobic banter. She stood up, walked out, and could be heard saying, “Excuse me. This is not professional. This is bullsh*t.”
When contacted by WVLT about his controversial comments, the commissioner stood by them, saying that some of his best friends are African-American.
A statement released Tuesday on the Sevier County’s Twitter page, claims that the comments made by Commissioner Hurst do not reflect the opinion or position of Sevier County administration.
Kylie Jenner files to trademark ‘Rise and Shine’ for clothing, cosmetics!
Kylie Jenner is always one step ahead.The beauty mogul, 22, sparked internet fascination after singing the words “rise and shine” to 20-month-old daughter Stormi Webster last week, and is already cashing in on her viral moment. Jenner quickly released two sweatshirts inspired by the song on her e-commerce website, and immediately sold out of all sizes of both $65 styles.
Now, she’s ready to expand. The same day she released the merch, the self-made billionaire filed to trademark both “Rise and Shine” as well as the singsong version, “Riiise and Shiiinnee.”
The applications cover the domains of clothing including tops, bottoms, swimwear, undergarments and outerwear, along with accessories like socks, belts, footwear, headwear and more.
Naturally, Jenner’s also got some sunny ideas for her Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin brands; she filed to trademark the slogan under cosmetics, but did not specify what type of makeup or skincare she might plan to create in the paperwork filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Though it would seem logical for Jenner to name an eyeshadow palette after her song — or, at the very least, release the track on streaming services (with or without Ariana Grande, who asked to collaborate) — she joins a group of companies trying to cash in on the common phrase.
There are already many other trademark filings for the same words, including one registered to a window treatment and blinds-cleaning company and another by fast food chain Hardee’s for breakfast entrees.
