The lipstick is called “Finally Free” and 100% of the proceeds go to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.

New Music: Kelly Price ‘Everytime (Grateful)’!
* Seven-time GRAMMY®-nominated singer and songwriter Kelly Price makes a declarative statement with the release of her new single “Everytime (Grateful),” which is available now via all digital retailers, and just released to radio.
Driven by her beloved voice, Price penned the song, with co-writers Troy Taylor, Johnta Austin, and James Foye III.
Price performed the song on national TV for the first time earlier this year on the 24th Annual Trumpet Awards, which is airing around the country now (check local listings).
“Everytime (Grateful)” will be featured on the forthcoming Saints & Sinners album, the soundtrack for the new Saints & Sinners television series. The first-ever drama series from Bounce TV will begin airing on Sunday, March 6th at 9:00 p.m. (ET).

Xzibit is bringing his acting talents to Empire. Mr. X To The Z, born Alvin Joiner, will be appearing on the FOX drama as a rival to Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard).

Xzibit will play Leslie “Shyne” Johnson, who is 100% wolf and 100% gangster. He has managed artists, started record imprints and even sold a few units here and there, but his bread and butter always has been — much to his years-long frustration — drugs, guns and extortion. Feeling shut out by the other heavy hitters in the music industry, he carries a big chip on his shoulder, especially for Lucious (Terrence Howard). The exact number of episodes is TBD.

Oh? Is VH1 Bringing “Love & Hip Hop” To Miami & Houston?
If the rumors are true, VH1 will be bringing more ratchetedness to a screen near you. Looks like Mona Scott Young and VH1 are looking for new “talent” in two new cities. With “Love & Hip Hop” Atlanta, New York and Hollywood, there are other territories the reality show wants to explore.
If the rumors are true, the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise will be taking over Miami and Houston soon.
Sources tell TMZ the network is gunning to have the casts complete by April to premiere the city by the end of the summer. We’re sure whichever city brings to most drama and racthetedness will be the first to hit the tube.
No names have been attached to either season just yet, but there are supposedly some big names expected to star on the show.

He’s LOCKED UP AGAIN! Katt Williams Arrested On Battery Charge In Georgia!
Comedian Katt Williams has had his fair share of run-ins with the law, so this really isn’t that big of a surprise.
According to reports, the Friday After Next star was arrested after allegedly assaulting a pool store clerk this morning in Gainsville, GA. Law enforcement officials said Katt got into a heated argument with an employee. For what? That's still unclear. Ish escalated quickly, resulting in Katt allegedly throwing something at the employee and then PUNCHING him.
Sighs… Why can’t he keep his hands to himself? Remember when he hit a fan in the head with his microphone during one of his shows?
Back to the story, TMZ reported the comedian was laying down on the ground with his hands behind his back when police arrived. Guess he knew he was wrong and going to jail.
He’s currently being held on a $5,000 bond. Wonder if his girlfriend Hazel-E is going to bail him out.
Oh, and we’re sure Kevin Hart is somewhere either laughing or shaking his head at all of this after Katt dissed during one of his recent shows.
Uh Oh! Jay Z & TIDAL Hit With $5 Million Lawsuit!
Jay Z is accused of ripping off musician’s by screwing them out of royalties stemming from TIDAL and now the company has been hit with a 5 million + class action lawsuit by an artist who says the music mogul is illegally profiting off his and other artists work.
Yesh Music LLC and musician John Emanuele filed a federal lawsuit against Jay-Z’s company, S. Carter Enterprises, along 2 other companies behind TIDAL — accusing them of copyright infringement and underpayment of royalties. The company is the owner of 118 copyrighted musical recordings – from a band named The American Dollar – and Emanuele is a member of the group. They explain the songs are currently available to be streamed on TIDAL. However, the company says TIDAL never obtained permission from the band or paid a dime in royalties.
The plaintiffs add, “Ironically, when Defendant Carter purchased the Tidal Music Service in 2015, it claimed it would be the first streaming service to pay the artists. Different owner, same game” — referring to the prior ownership of Tidal before Jay-Z purchased the company for a reported 56 million last year.
The complaint states that Jay-Z and the owners of TIDAL aren’t naïve in royalty payments and describes them as “experts” in the process of paying musicians their money.
TIDAL has over 25 million tracks in their music library by dumping all the music of independent artists into their library without licensing or receiving authorization from the artists.
The company also accuses TIDAL of willfully underpaying royalties to some artists by miscalculating the per-stream royalty rates and screwing them out of a large percentage of the money made.
Further, they say TIDAL failed to provide monthly accounting reports to artists for royalties.
Yesh Music LLC and John Emanuele filed suit for up to 150k in damages per infringement along with an injunction from TIDAL from continuing to distribute their music illegally. The lawsuit is filed on behalf of the plaintiffs and any other artists who were screwed out of money from Jay-Z’s company. The complaint is seeking in excess of 5 million dollars.

Prince is preparing for his first surprise show on Sunday Feburary 28 in Oakland at the Paramount Theater. The tour entitled Piano & a Microphone is an intimate concert series tailored to Prince‘s core fan base. Fans can expect to hear sounds from the past and the artist’s new music.
Piano & a Microphone is a tour that will expectantly show up to your city. The concert’s promoter, LiveNation has decided to go old school and use “Paperless” tickets to discourage ticket scalpers and something for the real fans who want to see the master perform live. All purchasers will have to redeem their tickets in person the night of the show using their ID and the credit card used at the time of buy and will then have to enter into the venue following receiving their ticket.
Sounds like we need to get our money together because Prince is COMING to TOWN!!!!
Nicki Minaj RESPONDS to those BREAKUP rumors with Meek Mill!
Nicki Minaj is clapping back at those recent Meek Mill breakup rumors that popped up online recently.
Word on the curb was that Nicki and Meek Mill got into a huge fight about the “Anaconda” raptress moving to Philly while the MMG rapper serves his house arrest stint. We’re not sure if that argument ever happened, but Nicki wants y’all to know that she and Meek are still tight.

Though Marshawn Lynch has officially retired from the NFL, it doesn't stop him from continuing his philanthropic duties. For his third year in a row, Beast Mode will be heading overseas to host the fourth annual American Football Without Barriers (AFWB) camp. This year the camp is taking on Cairo, Egypt.
Alongside Lynch will be New York Jets Breno Giacomini, Cleveland Browns Gary Barnidge, Barkevious Mingo, and Johnson Bademosi, Pittsburgh Steelers DeAngelo Williams, Miami Dolphins Jordan Cameron, Houston Texans Oday Aboushi, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Colby Cameron, and free-agent Erik Lorig.
Giacomini and Barnidge started the non-profit camp in 2011 as a way to globalize American football and reach underprivileged youth. This will be the first time in Africa. Previous years included Turkey, Brazil and China. It isn't all about football, however. The Ballers also plan to dedicate time to visit a children's cancer hospital during their stay.
Sam Smith you WERE NOT THE FIRST GAY person to win an Oscar!
Oops, Sam Smith may have dedicated his Oscar win on Sunday “to the LGBT community around the world,” but he forgot about a bunch of openly gay male Oscar winners who came before him.
“I read an article a few months ago by Sir Ian McKellen, and he said that no openly gay man had ever won an Oscar, and if this is the case, even if it isn’t the case, I want to dedicate this to the LGBT community all around the world,” he said.
The singer, who won the Best Original Song Academy Award for “Spectre” theme “Writing’s on the Wall,” may be slightly embarrassed to learn that a number of gay people have won Oscars in the past, and even more embarrassed that he misread McKellan’s quote, which was specifically discussing the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.
“No openly gay man has ever won the Oscar; I wonder if that is prejudice or chance,” McKellen told The Guardian in January.
But Sir John Gielgud, an openly gay male actor, did win Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1981 for his performance in “Arthur.” More recently, Dustin Lance Black won an Oscar in 2009 for writing “Milk.” And Pedro Almdóvar won for writing 2002’s “Talk to Her.”
And how could Smith have forgotten a fellow Brit Elton John, who won an Oscar for 1994’s Best Original Song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from “The Lion King”?
There have been many gay Oscar winners in the music categories, including composer John Corigliano (“The Red Violin”), Stephen Sondheim (for the “Dick Tracy” song “Sooner or Later”) and Howard Ashman, a gay lyricist who died from AIDS complications in 1991.
Ashman’s first win came for Best Original Song “Under the Sea” from 1989’s “The Little Mermaid.” Then, he was posthumously honored in the same category in 1991 for the song “Beauty and the Beast” from the film of the same name.
Bill Condon, an openly gay filmmaker, won an Oscar in 1999 for writing the screenplay to “Gods and Monsters,” which he also directed. Before him, John Schlesinger won an Oscar in 1970 for directing “Midnight Cowboy.” “True Blood” creator Alan Ball, who has said he came out as gay to his mother when he was 33, won an Oscar in 2000 for writing “American Beauty.” And Scott Rudin won for producing “No Country for Old Men.”
Smith did specify “openly gay man” in his acceptance speech, but for the sake of living up to the headline of this article, singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge also won an Oscar for the Best Original Song in 2007.
Despite mistakenly identifying himself as the first openly gay man to win an Oscar (with the caveat that it might not have actually been “the case”), his tribute to the LGBT community has been garnering praise
