#RHoA: Erika Girardi Talks RHoA Versus RHoBH

RHOBH star Erika Girardi spoke with the folks over at The Daily Dish, and talked about her hometown of Atlanta and where her fashion came from.

“I don’t get home to Atlanta enough, and it’s changed so much since I left in ’89,” she shared. “I still go to Lenox Mall because that’s where I was raised, and I still go to the Varsity because I want to eat bad food that tastes great.”

Erika also admitted that she is a big fan of RHOA “I watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta because it reminds me of home, and I get to see home,” she said.

Erika added that she keeps in contact with RHOA star Kenya Moore who she was just on WWHL with.

“I think the Atlanta girls would run over Beverly Hills like there’s no tomorrow. Everyone knows that’s true. They’d kick anybody’s ass in BH, including mine,” Erika said. “Those girls bring it to you. They got hair, they got makeup, they got outfits.”

Erika followed up saying, “I’m always gonna have big hair, It’s where I’m from.”

New Music: Alicia Keys – Sweet F-ing Love

It’s not even new music Friday, but two months after releasing her sixth studio album HERE, Alicia Keys has surprised fans with a brand new song for the new year.  On Monday night, Swizz Beatz debuted his wife’s latest track, “Sweet F-ing Love,” produced by Kaytranada. The tender love song finds Keys effortlessly harmonizing over a whimsical, jazzy instrumental.

“I’m talkin’ ’bout sweet f-ing love / I’m talkin’ ’bout sweet, sweet f-ing love” she repeats throughout the record.

On Feb. 8, Alicia will headline Power 106’s CRUSH concert at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles. She is also set to return as coach on the new season of NBC’s “The Voice,” premiering Feb. 27.

Mike Tyson Records Soulja Boy Diss Track with Chris Brown

It’s going down…LOL! Mike Tyson has recorded and shared his portion of “If You Show Up,” an upcoming collaboration with Chris Brown aimed as a diss track towards Soulja Boy.

 “If you show up, it’s going down,” Iron Mike repeats on the cut. “I’m gonna teach him how to knock your ass down.”

Breezy is slated to record his verse this week with a music video to follow, according to TMZ.

Tyson revealed that 50 Cent was right in saying he would be training Brown for his upcoming bout with Young Draco.

“It’s confirmed. I’m training Chris,” said Tyson. “He chose me as his trainer to take on Soulja Boy. And Soulja Boy, what the fuck you talking about? The only thing I’m gonna teach him is to bite somebody’s ear? Yeah, that’s right! I’m gonna teach him every dirty trick in the book to knock you out.”

Madonna Spotted Cuddling Up to Her New Toy Boy in Switzerland

The 'Rebel Heart' hitmaker is seen snuggling up to Aboubakar Soumahoro as they head out of their car during a family skiing trip in Switzerland.

Madonna found someone to keep her warm during a trip to Switzerland on Wednesday, January 4. The "Rebel Heart" hitmaker was spotted cuddling up to her toy boy Aboubakar Soumahoro as they headed out of their car.

 In some photos obtained by Daily Mail, Madonna kept herself warm in a black padded jacket with a thick fur trim. The "Like a Prayer" singer completed her look with a pair of striped trousers and ankle boots. Her 25-year-old toy boy, meanwhile, wore a black leather jacket and skinny jeans.

Madonna brought her family and children Lourdes, 20, Rocco, 16, David, 11, and Mercy, 10, for a family skiing trip in Switzerland last week. She shared on Instagram some photos with her family, but Aboubakar was nowhere to be seen.

Madonna first sparked romance rumors with Aboubakar in March 2016. They were introduced by a mutual friend at a party in November 2015. Rumor has it, Aboubakar visited Madonna at her London home weeks and they have since spent a lot of time together.

 "They were at a party together back in November when they got chatting, and hit it off straight away," a source close to the singer claimed, "Over the next few weeks, they got together a couple more times and she invited him over to her place, where they sat up all night talking. The next thing we heard, he had quit his job and had gone out to meet her on tour. It's obviously a very close friendship."

Hidden Figures Beat Out Rogue One to Become #1 Movie in America!

For anyone doubting diversity, it’s time to have a seat. Hidden Figures is the number one movie in the country after raking in $22.8 million, thus dethroning Rogue One and exceeding expectations in the process. Yes, the film about three brilliant black women who helped launch John Glenn into space was the most-watched film this weekend. This is huge news considering one of the major arguments against diversity is that a film starring a person of color won’t be a major box office draw. As this and other movies like the Fast and the Furious franchise have already proven, that certainly isn’t the case.

Vivica A. Fox, Jean-Claude-LaMarre Not on Same Page After Her ‘No Gays’ Comment

*It seems Vivica A. Fox‘s mouth has put her on a collision course with the man who her male stripper reality show possible.

Jean-Claude LaMarre is said to be distancing himself from the actress after she said gay men aren’t welcome at the strip shows.

In case you forgot or didn’t know, it was Jean-Claude LaMarre who cast Auntie Viv for his movie “Chocolate City” … which led to her spinning off ‘Black Magic’ into a TV show.

The problem apparently came as a result of her comments while she was promoting the show last week on “The Breakfast Club” when she strongly objected to the suggestion gays were coming out to see her strippers.

As she put it … “Hell no!” She went on to explain that it’s sub-titled “The Ultimate Girls Night Out”

But apparently that’s not what LaMarre wants to hear. He told TMZ …

“The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community. All are welcomed.” He added, “Vivica speaks for herself not the business or the show.”

LaMarre will remain an executive producer on the reality show, and made it clear he wants ‘Black Magic’ to succeed — he just doesn’t want to work with Vivica anymore.

We guess we don’t exactly know how these things work ’cause we wanna know how you remain executive producer on a show and NOT work with your partner?

Uh Oh! Meek’s Alleged Side Chick Lawyering Up to Sue For Defamation: It’s NOT true!

Meek’s Alleged Side Chick Lawyering Up! Sonye Rasool, the woman who some claim Meek Mill cheated on Nicki Minaj with, is getting ready to lawyer. Last month, reports surfaced that Meek had secretly been hooking up with Sonye while in a relationship with Minaj. In which she said these reports were false.

According to reports, Sonye and Meek did in fact date, but prior to his relationship with Minaj. We’re told that Sonye is upset that some outlets alleged that she was Meek’s side chick and she is considering hitting those that reported the news with defamation lawsuits.

Meanwhile, Meek and Minaj are still broken-up and have not reconciled. Last week, Nicki announced the news on Twitter.

Outside of tons of speculation, no additional details about why they parted ways have been released.

Jamie Foxx Attacked By Man At Hollywood Restaurant

Jamie Foxx was out with friends at Catch restaurant in West Hollywood on Saturday when things turned physical. Foxx and pals were sitting on the patio when a man approached them complaining that the party was too nosy. At some point the man is heard saying, “You don’t want to mess with me. I’m from New York” and that’s when a comedian friend who was sitting at Jamie’s table says, “F*ck you, I’m from Oakland.”

The unruly guest then lunged at Foxx, pulling him down onto a table. Foxx was able to get the stranger down by turning him around and putting him in a choke hold.

The random guy and his group were kicked out of the restaurant.

The actor did not seem to be hurt. He’s been on social media plugging his new move, Sleepless, not stop. Can’t keep a real one down!

Awwwwww, Eva Mendes Responds To Ryan Gosling’s Sweet Globes Speech With Cute Message

Ryan Gosling devoted his whole acceptance speech at the Golden Globes on Jan. 8 to thanking his wife, Eva Mendes, for all she does for him. And the heartfelt shout out was not lost on her. See her sweet response right here!

Eva Mendes, 42, is definitely the apple of 36-year-old Ryan Gosling‘s eye. After all, he wouldn’t have spent his entire Golden Globes acceptance speech for his performance in La La Land gushing over his lovely wife if she wasn’t worth it. And while his speech was fawned over by many a fan on social media, it was Eva herself whose coy response was the best.

On Jan. 9, the day after the Globes, Eva posted a pic of Janelle Monae’s gown at the awards to comment on just how fabulous it was. But what was tucked inside that compliment to the singer was a shout out to Ryan, as she included the statement,”Obviously this wasn’t my favorite moment of the night….” Aww! Be still our hearts! And the response was certainly well deserved, as Ryan’s speech was super adorable.

“You don’t get to be up here without standing on the shoulders of a mountain of people. There’s no time to thank everyone,” Ryan said when he took the stage at the awards on Jan. 8. “I would like to try and thank one person properly and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer. If she hadn’t had taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else other than me up here today. So sweetheart, thank you. If I may, I would like to dedicate this to the memory of her brother, Juan Carlos Mendez.”

We could not have imagined a sweeter way to thank your partner for supporting you through a project than to devote your entire acceptance speech to them. And obviously Eva felt the same way. Clearly, Ryan and Eva have a relationship to be envied!

THE KIM KARDASHIAN ROBBERY WAS IT AN INSIDE JOB?

Paris cops working the Kim Kardashian robbery are taking suspects and a ton of evidence into custody ... and now there's a report one of her drivers was allegedly involved.

We got these pics of investigators handcuffing several more of the so-called Kim K 17 -- the suspects allegedly tied to the October heist. You can also see cops confiscating several items, like big screen TVs, from their homes.

According to French newspaper Le Monde, one of the 17 is a driver for a limo company frequently used by the Kardashians when they're in Paris. The report raises an old theory about Kim's robbery -- that it was an inside job.

The report says cops think he could have given out info on Kim's whereabouts the night she was robbed.

Denzel Washington is covered by Rolling Out Magazine!

There is something to be said about the power that is Denzel Washington. When he enters a room, he walks with an undisturbed strut, as if he has owned the building for years. And while promoting his new film ‘Fences’ in Atlanta he did the same. He sat down with our friends over at Rolling Out Magazine for an interview. Washington is in the business of practicing and sharing his truth on film. Since we were introduced to him through the character of Dr. Philip Chandler on the 1980s hit “St. Elsewhere,” he has captivated audiences by embodying the essence of Malcolm X in Malcolm X; channeling a fighter’s passion in Hurricane; exposing the depths of greed and corruption in Training Day; enthralling us as drug lord Frank Lucas in American Gangster; and providing a powerful look at the impact of addiction in Flight.

But even with all of Washington’s masterful performances of the past, he could still be on the verge of releasing his magnum opus. In the two previous films he directed, Antwone Fisher and The Great Debaters, he took small roles. In Fences, which is arguably his most powerful performance on film to date, he is both director and star.

Never one to dwell on himself, Washington has always been a generous collaborator and can’t hide the pride he feels in Viola Davis’ performance in Fences. “Viola is a monster in this film,” Washington beamed. “She heads down the runway quietly, and before you know it, she takes off. I’m honored to have directed her in this film.”

The awards may be already racking up with Golden Globes, the Screen Actor Guild and surely the Oscars, but Washington is never done. As great as he has been in the past, he somehow keeps topping himself. For him, it’s his way of honoring what he calls his gift from God. Get more HERE

#RHoA: Sheree Whitfield Says Kenya Moore Is ‘Not A Nice Person’

Sheree Whitfield has been battling with Kenya Moore ever since her Season 9 return to Real Housewives of Atlanta. There is definitely no love lost and Sheree had plenty to say about her Bravo co-star during the call in to the Domenick Nati Show on iHeartRadio on Thursday.

It’s no secret that Sheree and Kenya have been shading each other like crazy over who has the best new house. Chateau Sheree is finally habitable after years of construction while Moore Manor was built rather quickly. Sheree attended Kenya’s housewarming party and pointed out several details that Kenya had either forgotten about, hadn’t finished yet, or hadn’t even crossed her mind.

While the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars argue about whether or not molding is essential, it became obvious that Kenya lives to keep the drama alive and Sheree is happy to help fuel that fire. It wasn’t really surprising when Nati brought up Kenya Moore during his interview with Sheree Whitfield and she didn’t 

Domenick Nati asked Sheree what the issue was between her and Kenya and the RHOA star denied having a problem herself. Then Sheree said, “She seems to be pretty bothered with me.”

“She’s not a nice person,” Sheree said. “She’s not a girl’s girl. She doesn’t seem to get along with many. Maybe she’s just not a girl’s girl.”

Sheree also talked about that housewarming party and how her ritzy neighbors might be a little racist. According to Sheree, she still doesn’t understand exactly why she deserves a $1,000 fine.

Apparently, someone reported that during her party, there were cars parked all over the place and even up on the neighbors’ lawns. Sheree told Domenick that there is no way cars could have been parked anywhere inappropriate because production had paid a service to transport her hosuewarming party guests from farther away to the party so they wouldn’t clog up her neighborhood with cars.

“I’ve been in the area for 17 years, people have parties there all the time.”

Sheree said there was a party in her neighborhood just this week. There were cars parked up and down the streets in her neighborhood and nobody seemed to have a problem with it.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star said she learned of the court summons via email and was surprised that they would alert her in that manner. When she got to court, she said there were camera crews on hand and they called her name right before the noon news. Whitfield was shocked when she stepped forward and cameras started rolling. It was even more shocking when cell phone cameras were raised up in the court room as well and the judge never asked anyone to stop recording.

From there, Sheree was fined $1,000 and placed on probation. She says that she is still baffled by the probation because some other guy was in court right along with her except that he had to see the judge about excessive speeding and he didn’t get probation.

“I totally don’t think it was fair,” Sheree said of her fine. “It was definitely blown out of proportion.”

Sheree explained that she was fined because she didn’t have a permit to film at her party, something that should have been taken care of by production. She said that they were also fined, which also concerned the RHOA star because she felt like the court was double dipping by fining her and the production company for the same infraction. She said that the production company didn’t even get as stiff a penalty because they didn’t get probation, although that would have been impossible because it is a company and not a person.

There has been a lot going on in Season 9 of Real Housewives of Atlanta and many fans are wondering what is going to happen with Sheree and Bob. Sheree was very tight-lipped about the future of their possible reconciliation and told Domenick that if fans want to know what happens, they’ll have to tune in on Sunday nights on Bravo to find out.

Bobby Brown Praises New Edition Story…Shades Lee Daniels! 

It’s safe to say Bobby Brown is not a fan of Empire, or any of Lee Daniels work for that matter.  Our friends over at HipHollywood caught up with Brown at the world premiere for The New Edition Story, and the R&B crooner praised the film while also shading Daniels.

“The movie tells what New Edition is and you’re going to enjoy it because Lee Daniels is not apart of this, Chris Robinson did an excellent job,” said Brown with a huge grin.

We’re not sure why Brown has some disdain for Daniel’s work, but he’s not alone. In recent weeks many have criticized Daniels for casting a white woman as the lead for his new girl group drama Star.

Meanwhile Brown told us he has plans for his own film, but is ok if there are some things left out about him in the upcoming New Edition film. “My story is on the way, but for this story, let it be said that this is how I was. Then when you see my story you’ll hear some truths and non-truths.”

New Music Video From Stevie Wonder Feat. Ariana Grande – Faith

Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande join forces to spread some “Faith” in the music video for their Golden Globe-nominated collaboration from the Sing soundtrack.

Channeling ’70s style, a blonde Ari struts her stuff down a city block wearing bellbottom overalls, mirrored shades, and colorful bracelets. The incomparable Mr. Wonder stays seated at a piano in a dimly lit theater delivering a rousing performance, as he does best, before Ariana joins him for a finale that includes Sing’s animated characters.

Gail Harrison, Illumination’s President of Marketing and Branding, said the video is meant to showcase both artists in the spirit of Sing, which is in theaters now.

“With this video for ‘Faith,’ the legendary Stevie Wonder’s incomparable music and timeless lyrics celebrate Sing‘s message of spreading joy and inspiring transformation,” said Harrison. “There are few performers who embody inspiration the way Stevie does, and he and Ariana join Sing‘s characters in a collective celebration of the power of song.”

Collaborating with the legendary Wonder was a career highlight for Ariana, who gushed over the collaboration. “I’m done now,” she said in September. “I’m good now…That’s it for me. Not only did I get to sing with him, but we were in the same booth…me and Stevie Wonder arm-in-arm, holding hands in the booth, singing together, laughing, having a good time.”

“Faith” is up for a Golden Globe in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture category. Watch the video HERE. 

Hip Hop News: Fat Joe & Remy Ma Reveal ‘Plata O Plomo’ Release Date, Tracklisting

Following the success of “All the Way Up,” Remy Ma and Fat Joe will kick off 2017 with Plata o Plomo, their joint project inspired by Pablo Escobar’s infamous proposition.

The Terror Squad twosome enlists a star-powered lineup for the 12-track LP. Sevyn Streeter and BJ the Chicago Kid both come through on “Say Yes,” while The-Dream (“Heartbreak”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Money Showers”), and Stephanie Mills (“Dreaming”) also make cameos. Elsewhere, Kent Jones has two showings on “Swear to God” and “Spaghetti.”

Of course, the French Montana and Infared smash “All the Way Up” is here, along with “Cookin” (featuring French Montana and RySoValid), which also dropped ahead of the project.

The duo also revealed the cover art, which finds them side by side in front of the White House. Remy is dressed in a high-slit gown, while Joe stunts in a colorful silk shirt.

Plata o Plomo, which roughly translates to “money or bullets,” is the first joint project by Remy and Joe. However, they have had past success, like their celebrated work on Terror Squad’s 2004 hit “Lean Back.”

Judge Orders Prince's Divorce Records Unsealed

Back in August the late rocker Prince's second ex-wife Manuela Testolini filed legal docs to prevent a Minnesota newspaper from accessing her sealed divorce records 

Well this is bad news for Testolini... According to reports a Minnesota judge ruled this week that Prince's divorce records be unsealed deeming them newsworthy.

Manuela cited her private settlement agreement in her objections.

Manuela is currently married to R&B singer Eric Benet.

Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Are Still Together, Rapper NOT Cheating With Philly Boutique Owner

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill (referred to as ‘Omeeka’ by their fans) have NOT broken up. In fact, the couple is still very much in love and are together. Recently, reports surfaced that the pair had split, after Meek temporarily deleted his IG account and Minaj posted a cryptic IG message 

She’s not focused on the rumors especially when it’s no truth to them. She’s been laying low. Nicki’s actually in the studio recording.

This week, new reports hit (via Bossip) that Meek had been cheating on Nicki with a boutique owner from Philadelphia named Sonye.

Allegedly, Meek financed Sonye’s boutique and they had been in a quiet relationship for over a year. However a source tells our girls over at The Jasmine Brand, ‘That’s not true! She’s obsessed with Meek’s Dreamchasers. He’s NEVER been with or dealt with Sonye. She’s just one of those girls that are always around his crew’

Former Coach George Karl VERBALLY ATTACKS Carmelo Anthony & Kenyon Martin!

Former NBA coach George Karl doesn’t care about hurting anyone’s feelings in his new book. The New York Post has obtained an excerpt from his book “Furious George” (that’s set to drop in January) and it reveals his true feelings about Melo during their time together with Denver Nuggets.

He writes: "Carmelo was a true conundrum for me in the six years I had him. He was the best offensive player I ever coached. He was also a user of people, addicted to the spotlight and very unhappy when he had to share it.”

Then Coach Karl then critiqued Melo’s defensive skills:

"He really lit my fuse with his low demand of himself on defense. He had no commitment to the hard, dirty work of stopping the other guy."

After playing for the Nuggets January 2005 to February 2011, Melo was over playing in Denver and demanded a trade. Coach Karl wanted the trade just as bad and couldn’t wait for Melo to leave. He said the trade was "a sweet release for the coach and the team, like popping a blister." Ouch!

Oh and Melo wasn’t the only baller on his sh*t list. He also slammed Cleveland Cavaliers baller J.R. Smith and retired player Kenyon Marton. He called the duo, along with Melo, "the spoiled brats you see in junior golf and junior tennis." He said J.R. had "a huge sense of entitlement, a distracting posse, his eye always on the next contract and some really unbelievable shot selection."

Valerie Fairman Dies: MTV’s ’16 And Pregnant’ Star Was 23

Valerie Fairman, who appeared on MTV’s 16 And Pregnant reality series, died Wednesday in Coatesville, PA. She was 23.

The cause and manner of death are pending and an investigation is ongoing, according to a statement from the Chester County Coroner’s Office.

Fairman was featured in the third episode of 16 And Pregnant‘s second season in 2010. The episode chronicled the birth of her daughter.

16 And Pregnant aired from 2009-2014 on MTV. Each episode showcased a different teen dealing with pregnancy. The show spawned three spinoffs, Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom 3.

Alec Baldwin ONLY gets paid $1400 for each of his SNL appearances as Trump!

The New York Times did a short profile of Alec Baldwin this week to highlight his ongoing Saturday Night Live portrayal of President Deplorable. While I do think Baldwin and SNL helped to “normalize” Donald Trump ahead of the election, I also believe that they were not trying to do anything except make people laugh. Baldwin’s Trump is a buffoon, a clown and an idiot… which basically shows that Baldwin is really great at impressions. Anyway, this NYT piece is called “A Tangerine Wig and a Tightrope Walk: Alec Baldwin as Donald J. Trump.” Some highlights:

It takes seven minutes for Baldwin to get into the Trump costume: A dusting of Clinique Stay-Matte powder in honey. A hand-stitched wig. Eyebrows glued up into tiny peaks. The rest is left to Alec Baldwin: the puckered lips, a studied lumbering gait and a wariness of humanizing a man he reviles.

Mimicking Trump’s speech patterns: Baldwin relies on “puffs” — his word for the pregnant pauses in the president-elect’s speech. “I see a guy who seems to pause and dig for the more precise and better language he wants to use, and never finds it. It’s the same dish — it’s a grilled-cheese sandwich rhetorically over and over again.”

Baldwin watched hours of Trump’s campaign appearances to get his movements right: “I’m not interested much by what’s inside him,” he said, but in how he moves and takes up space. Mr. Baldwin then amplifies the gestures, and distills them. An emphatic wave becomes a goofy “wax-on, wax-off” movement, he said, the simple hand motion reducing a candidate to an essence: pitchman.

How much Baldwin is paid: He does not write the sketches. He is paid $1,400 for each appearance on the show, he said.

The concern that he’s humanizing Trump: Playing Mr. Trump as a buffoon landing headfirst in his own gaffes has at points rendered him almost sweetly silly on screen. After the election, Mr. Baldwin recalled, he was distressed to receive an email from a friend sardonically thanking him for humanizing Mr. Trump and helping him win. “I do recognize that that is a possibility,” Mr. Baldwin said. “But I think that now that he is the president, we have an obligation — as we would if it was him or her — to dial it up as much as we can.”

He’s going to keep playing Trump when he can: Mr. Baldwin said that he planned to continue playing Mr. Trump on “Saturday Night Live” and perhaps elsewhere, but that his work schedule — he is about to film two movies — would mean his performances would be intermittent. Besides, he said, it might start to get old for audiences.

The comparison of Baldwin & Trump (they’re somewhat similar): “The difference is, with Trump, it’s incontrovertible that he has said the things he’s said. And he ran on them.’’

Getting rid of Trump: “Whoever it is, wouldn’t it be great to be the person who pulls the sword out of the stone? Who gets rid of this guy? Wouldn’t that be thrilling?”

Immediately following the election, Baldwin made some noise about not wanting to do the show anymore, but I think he’s realized the value of being such a pop-culture thorn in Trump’s side. As long as Trump tweets out his irritation with SNL and Baldwin, Baldwin will keep making appearances. As for the rest of it… Baldwin’s obviously not doing it for the money. That’s sort of cool, in my opinion – Baldwin is arguably one of our greatest impressionists, and he has such a long-standing relationship with Lorne Michaels and SNL, so it’s sort of sweet that he just shows up and does his Trump impression for so little money (and in actor-world, that’s probably the least amount of money they can give a SAG union member).
